0:34>> I tell you, the worship was rich this

1:13dear, dear pastors you have. Amen. Can
1:15we give God praise for them? You know,
1:20we give Jesus all the praise. He's the
1:22one that paid the price. He gave his
1:24life. But we wouldn't know without a
1:27preacher. Amen.
1:28>> And the word says, give honor where
1:30honor is due.
1:32>> And I know when we in a house always,
1:34sometimes we take things for granted.
1:37>> But I want you to know, I've traveled
1:38the world. And I want to encourage you.
1:40I know many of you know this, but I just
1:42want to remind you, never take for
1:45granted what you have here.
1:47>> The living word of God practiced without
1:50compromise.
1:52And thank you for our friendship. Our
1:54people back home are so excited that
1:56you're coming. Amen. And we It'll be for
2:00our conference. We have our annual
2:01conference. We're celebrating 32 years
2:04as a church this year. And Jesus is
2:07building his church in South Africa.
2:10And my wife sends her greetings. Janine
2:13uh she's not with us today because she's
2:15back home looking after a whole bunch of
2:17grandchildren.
2:19U my eldest daughter Brittany has
2:21already given us three. her and her
2:24husband Voter and it's Noah, Ezekiel,
2:26and Malachi, three boys.
2:29And then our second daughter Michaela
2:32with her husband Miguel have given us a
2:35grandson Leonardo.
2:38My son jokes and he says, "We were going
2:40through the Bible names and now we've
2:42gone with the Ninja Turtles."
2:46And so he, my son, he's the youngest.
2:50Him with his wife Nikki have just
2:52announced at Christmas that she's now
2:55pregnant with our fifth a little girl.
2:57The first girl coming now, Olivia. Amen.
3:02And the amazing thing is doctors told us
3:06that neither one of us can have
3:08children.
3:10My wife and myself, both of us medically
3:13speaking, are incapable of producing
3:15children. But thank God for his word.
3:19>> And when the doctors told us that, my
3:22wife and I got up on our bed one day and
3:24we got out the scriptures and we looked
3:25up everything to do with children.
3:28>> And not once was it under the blessing
3:31that you won't have children.
3:33>> It was always under the curse.
3:35And every time God remembered someone,
3:38they fell pregnant.
3:39>> Isn't that right?
3:41>> And then I came across the scripture,
3:43Proverbs 13:22.
3:45A good man leaves an inheritance to his
3:48children's children. I said, "Darling,
3:51look at this. I'm a good man. I've got
3:55children's children.
3:57>> And if I've got children's children, I
3:58have to have children in between."
4:01>> Amen. You can't bypass the children to
4:03get to the children's children.
4:05>> Amen. And so I want to encourage you if
4:08if you are trusting God for children. Is
4:11there anybody here today that is you
4:13you've been trying to fall pregnant and
4:15haven't been able to? Let me just see
4:17anyone. If you are, come here quickly. I
4:20I have faith for this. I have faith for
4:23this. I've we did it three times and uh
4:26praise God.
4:31We've got we've got children all around
4:34the world now. Amen. By faith.

5:56>> I went to a church one day.
5:59And I had a whole bunch of people come
6:00forward and I was praying happily. But
6:02then I got to a couple and I had this
6:04check and I said, "Are you married?" And
6:07they said, "No,
6:10you're not married and you want
6:12children.
6:14You you you do know if you're not
6:16married, you're not having sex. Hey,
6:19that's why you're not happening. You
6:22sort the marriage first,
6:25get the marriage done, and then the rest
6:28will follow.
6:30>> I was told that week they got hold of
6:32their pastor, got married, and then very
6:35soon after that, they said, "We fell
6:37pregnant."
6:38>> You get it right with God, it works.
6:40Amen. So that's why I'm just checking
6:43everybody here is married. everyone's
6:46husband in the country
6:49because that's also important.
6:53You see, faith without works is dead.
6:55You know, you got to you have to have
6:58everyone present.
7:01So, everyone's husband's here in at
7:03least in the area you live. All right.

7:08So, now we got all the admin out the
7:10way.
7:11Just lift your hands.

14:05It's the same back in South Africa. We
14:08want to wait for the first scan or the
14:10second scan before we tell anybody.
14:13Isn't that right? Just in case.
14:17>> But the spirit of faith is having
14:20believed I speak.
14:22>> Calling things that are not as though
14:25they are.
14:27>> We told people that we were pregnant for
14:30at least 2 years.
14:32>> Eventually they're going, "So when you
14:34going to start a show?" When that baby
14:37shows up. But we pregnant. You tell
14:41people, "Praise God, we are pregnant."
14:44And they might, doesn't matter if they
14:45understand or not.
14:47>> Amen. For some of you, it's going to be
14:49within the next few days.
14:51>> Praise God. Because you got some work to
14:53do. Amen.
14:57>> And others, and I'm not putting anything
14:59on you, you got to trust God.
15:02>> But God showed me in a vision we would
15:04have a son. But Britany came along and
15:07then Michaela four years in between each
15:10one. Other words, it took nine years
15:13before my son manifested.
15:16So don't lose faith. Don't lose hope.
15:19>> But we were saying we're pregnant from
15:21the day we prayed it.
15:22>> We were telling people, Amen.
15:25>> So you're all now going to come and well
15:28congratulate them.
15:29>> If you see them, congratulate them.
15:32Amen. Congratulations. You're pregnant.
15:34You're pregnant. Congratulations. Also,
15:38Father, I speak life to this womb in the
15:40name of Jesus. Go ahead. You can go be
15:42seated and tell people on the way.
15:44Praise God. We pregnant. We pregnant. We
15:48pregnant.
15:49Now start preparing that baby's room.
15:52Amen. Get Get that nest ready. Can we
15:55give Jesus praise?

16:10get into the word of God.
16:13I don't want it to feel like a a
16:14Catholic, you know, sit down, pray, sit
16:16down, kneel. But let's stand as we pray.
16:18Father, we thank you so much for your
16:20love.
16:22>> We do believe you love us.
16:24>> We know it. You're the giver of life.
16:27What a privilege and honor it is to know
16:29you as father. And so today, once again,
16:33we come to hear about you, to live in
16:36your word, to hear from heaven.
16:39Jesus, you said where you are gathered,
16:41where we are gathered, you would be
16:43there in our midst. You are that living
16:45word. And you did say that you would
16:48send the Holy Spirit when you return to
16:50the father. So we welcome you, sir.
16:52Jesus said you would come to remind us
16:54of what we've been taught, that you
16:57would guide us into truth, teaching us
17:00what we need to know as you show us
17:02things to come. And I'm trusting for
17:05that anointing today. I don't take it
17:07lightly. I submit myself under your
17:09mighty hand. I want to do as Jesus did
17:13and only say what you've given me to
17:15say.
17:16>> But I do know this as I speak your word
17:18by your grace it shall go forth with
17:20clarity and accuracy that you'd ignite
17:23every heart with faith that drives out
17:26every form of fear. And as minds are
17:29renewed to your word, understanding
17:31replaces confusion.
17:33I believe each and every one of us today
17:35are transformed from glory to glory. For
17:39this we give you alone the praise and
17:41honor in the name of Jesus. If you're
17:45ready to receive, would you shout amen?

17:50Bible at Matthew chapter 6.

18:02This is a very familiar portion of
18:05scripture.
18:07Verse 33,
18:09Jesus speaking. He says, "Seek first."
18:13Everybody say, "First."
18:15>> Seek first the kingdom of God and his
18:18righteousness,
18:20and all these things
18:22shall be added to you. How many you got
18:25some things that you need added? Let me
18:28see. Have you got you see there's
18:30nothing wrong with wanting things. Jesus
18:33had just got through saying
18:35don't worry about what you're going to
18:37eat, what you're going to drink, what
18:39you're going to wear. These are the
18:41things that the Gentiles seek. Your
18:42father knows what you need before you
18:46ask him.
18:47>> Other words, he he's he's of the
18:49impression you're going to ask. But know
18:53this, God already knows before you ask.
18:55But we still have to go ahead and ask.
18:58The point is that God doesn't mind you
19:01needing things. Sometimes people get so
19:04super spiritual, it's like, "No, I don't
19:06need anything." Well, then just stop
19:08breathing.
19:10>> You're going to need at least the next
19:12breath of fresh air.
19:14>> Isn't that right?
19:15>> So, let's not get super spiritual about
19:17these things. God knows you need things.
19:20This whole world is driven by need.
19:24These are the things that Gentiles seek.
19:25People without covenant. You think about
19:27the world system, it's all about
19:29getting. It's about getting the next.
19:30It's about getting more and more and
19:32more and more and more and more. And
19:33even when you have the more, you still
19:34even more that you want to get. And why
19:37do people get up Monday to Friday, get
19:39up and ungodly hour, you know? Well, no,
19:42every hour is godly, but you know,
19:43really, really morning hour, really
19:46early and and go out and have an
19:48argument with the wife, kick the cat on
19:50the way out, drive and, you know, shout
19:53and scream at every person on the way
19:54there. work with people we can't get on
19:57with, have fights and arguments, come
19:59home and go through the whole ritual
20:00every week. Why are we doing these
20:02things? It's about getting, getting,
20:05getting, getting, getting. But notice
20:07what Jesus said. Seek first. First
20:12implies there's at least a second.
20:15If I went for a run and came back and I
20:18told my wife, "Guess what? I came
20:20first." She's going to say, "Who did you
20:22run with?"
20:24I said, "No, it was just me." Well, you
20:27could have done that walking. No, first
20:30means there's at least a second. There
20:32are other things we're going to need in
20:34life, but he says, "Seek first."
20:38Priority. Everybody say, "Priority."
20:41>> Make the kingdom of God your priority.
20:44Now, listen to the wording. If you seek
20:47first the kingdom of God, these things
20:49will be added. What things? The things
20:51that the Gentiles seek. But you notice
20:54if you get the seek first right, Jesus
20:57takes the seek away from everything
20:59else.
21:01>> Seek first the kingdom of God, all these
21:03things will be added. There's no more
21:06seeking. You get your priority right,
21:09the seek is removed.
21:12>> Come on, give Jesus praise.
21:16So seeking implies this thing must be
21:20found. Right?
21:22>> It's not going to happen automatically.
21:24>> It's something that I'm going to have to
21:26put some action to. So, if I'm going to
21:30seek first the kingdom of God, what is
21:32that? Well, the way the Amplified puts
21:36it, seek first the kingdom of God and
21:38his righteousness. It's God's way of
21:41doing things and doing it right.
21:44Seek God's kingdom, his way of doing
21:47things, and doing them right. Say,
21:51"God's way of doing things."
21:53>> God's way
21:53>> and doing it right.
21:56>> Well, what is God's way? Remember Jesus
21:58was out with his disciples one day and
22:00he said, "Who do men say that I am?" And
22:04they said, "Well, you know, they got
22:06into reincarnation and he stopped them
22:08and said, "Hang on now. Who do you say
22:10that I am?" That's a vital question.
22:14Who do you say that I am? Who is Jesus
22:17to you?
22:19You know, for some people he's just one
22:21of the prophets, another just another
22:23religion. Other people say you can put
22:26him up there next to Father Christmas
22:28and and the tooth fairy.
22:32If that's true for somebody, then
22:33they'll never get anything out of God
22:35more than Disneyland can give them.
22:37But who's Jesus to you?
22:40Because until you know him as savior, we
22:43are destined to hell for eternity. I
22:46must know him as savior to be saved. If
22:49I don't see God as a healer, see, we
22:51didn't know God would heal our bodies
22:53and produce children until someone
22:55declared the word to us. But once I
22:57heard the word on it, I that's my Jesus.
23:00He is the giver of life. And when I
23:02received him as the giver of life, we
23:04birthed life.
23:06>> When I saw him as healer, we were
23:08healed. When I saw him as provider, I
23:11got the provision. when I see him as
23:13protector. Who is Jesus to you? Who do
23:16you say that I am?
23:21>> And Peter said, you are the Christ,
23:24the son of the living God. And Jesus
23:26said, hang on, no man told you that.
23:30>> See, Jesus even didn't tell them.
23:32>> He spoke about himself as the son of
23:34man.
23:35>> He said, you've heard from heaven.
23:38You got that from the father.
23:41And then he says something interesting
23:42in verse 18. And I also say to you that
23:46you are Peter and on this rock I will
23:49build my church and the gates of Hades
23:52shall not prevail against it. And I will
23:55give you the keys of the kingdom of
23:58heaven. I will give you the See, we
24:01seeking first the kingdom. I'm going to
24:03give you the keys of the kingdom of
24:04heaven. And whatever you bind on earth
24:06will be bound in heaven. And whatever
24:08you loose on earth will be loosed in
24:09heaven. How many you got some things you
24:11want to stop happening in your life? And
24:13when you bind it, heaven will back you
24:16up. How many you got some things you
24:17need loosed in your life? And if you
24:19loose it, heaven will back you up. How
24:21many you want to walk in that kind of
24:22authority? See, that's not going to
24:25happen until we allow Jesus to do what
24:27he said he's going to do. He said he'll
24:29give us the keys. When he said, "I will
24:32build my church."
24:34We had just planted the church in 1994
24:36and it grew very quickly and exploded
24:38and expanded and we were on a trajectory
24:41of great growth and all of a sudden
24:44somebody got hooked up with something on
24:46YouTube or some kind of videos and read
24:47a book and started sewing poison through
24:50our leadership and people started
24:52leaving the church one after the other
24:54just kept going and and I'm getting in
24:56there I'm saying God what is going on
24:58here and I mean it got to a point where
25:00it was ridiculous. I had an interview
25:02with somebody, an exit interview. They
25:04said, "They're on their way." I said,
25:05"For what reason?" They said, "I don't
25:07know." I said, "Are you not happier?"
25:08"No, we're very happy." "Is there
25:10something with the word?" "No, we love
25:12the word." "Well, then why are you
25:13going?" "Well, if all these people are
25:15leaving, there must be a problem."
25:18I'm going, "Give me a break. At least
25:20let give me something we can discuss
25:22here, but you know, if there's smoke,
25:24there must be fire kind of thing." And
25:26you and you go and and I mean we were in
25:29a desperate place
25:31>> and I went to the word and I went to the
25:33Lord and I took a time of prayer and
25:35fasting and every day I was just praying
25:37and listening. Lord, you you you give me
25:38inside. We birthe this church by your
25:40leading. We're following your
25:42instructions. What am I missing? You
25:44never wrong. And you know Jesus never
25:46fails.
25:47>> I said Jesus never fails.
25:49>> If he says he's going to build his
25:51church
25:52>> and the church is not growing, it's not
25:53his fault.

26:13reading. You you understand what that
26:15is? Internal reading. But I'm going to
26:17say it out loud so you can hear what
26:19happened in my spirit. I got down to
26:21this and he says to Peter, he says,
26:27"And I also say to you, you're Peter."
26:30I'm just reading. "And on this rock, I
26:33will build my church."
26:38>> Whoa.
26:40>> So, I stopped and I went back.
26:43>> I say to you that you're Peter and on
26:45this rock I will build my church. Wow.
26:53>> And I went and read it a third time and
26:56it was exactly the same.
26:58>> Come on. How many of you us you know the
27:01the the 19s birth? You know how you were
27:05born in the '9s?
27:09You you remember the days you you'd get
27:11a whipping.
27:12>> You say something wrong to to mom and
27:14dad sideswipes. You understand? You know
27:18what I'm talking about?
27:20How many you know dad's loving he's a
27:22great guy but there were times that uh
27:25you know we would do things and he say
27:26Allan and you know you just you know
27:28check me but how you know sometimes
27:30there was a moment when you did
27:31something the voice changed
27:33>> it was just an emphasis and you knew you
27:36crossed the line you should not have
27:37crossed how you know what I'm talking
27:38about that's exactly what I was feeling
27:41at that moment I will build my church I
27:46Whoa
27:48What is happening here? And I went
27:51internal. I just listened. Lord, what
27:53what are you saying? And this revel
27:56revelation grew up in me. I realized
27:59somewhere along the line, I had taken
28:01the reigns. See, when we planted the
28:04church, it was all God. We I was naive.
28:06I didn't know what to do. I'm listening
28:08to the Holy Spirit. Everything must be
28:09Holy Spirit. What's God saying? What we
28:11going to do next? Lord, you lead. You
28:13lead. But what happens is very quickly
28:15you get into a ritual. You know, you
28:17sing three fast and three slow songs and
28:20then you do the offering and and then
28:21you go to a conference and you see, wow,
28:23that's a good idea and we bring it home.
28:26We see something on TV and we think
28:28that'll work here and we do it and we
28:30start doing things just cuz they sound
28:32like good ideas, but did he ask to do
28:35it? Have you realized there are things
28:37that will work in Cape Town that will
28:39not work here in Fort Lauderdale?
28:45>> I get good ideas. As I look around, I
28:47see, "Oh, that's nice. That's pretty."
28:48I'm not talking about decor. I'm talking
28:50about how God's going to build his
28:52church. Because Psalm 127 verse1 says,
28:55"Unless the Lord builds the house, they
28:58labor in vain." Who build it? It's not
29:02even like you're doing something else.
29:04Listen to the object and the subject. It
29:06is unless the Lord builds the house,
29:11they labor in vain who build it. You can
29:13be doing the work for God. He'd never
29:17asked me to build a church for him.
29:21>> He said he would build his church.
29:28>> I don't want to labor in vain. That's
29:30where the toil is. That's when you're
29:32struggling. That's when you sweating.
29:34And then we put it on the people. Oh,
29:36the people don't come and the people
29:37don't give and the people don't. No. If
29:39God's involved, he speaks to the people.
29:42He leads us. He shows us. He guides us.
29:47And so I have to give the reigns back to
29:48him. Say, "Father, I ask you to forgive
29:50me." Whatever. I dumped so much stuff. I
29:54dumped so much stuff.
29:58Just closed programs, closed
30:00departments, and went back to listening
30:03to God. What is his original instruction
30:08to the church?
30:10Matthew chap 28 verse 18 Jesus came and
30:15spoke to them saying all authority has
30:18been given to me in heaven and on earth.
30:20Go therefore and make disciples of all
30:24the nations baptizing them in the name
30:27of the father and the son and the holy
30:28spirit and teach them to observe all
30:31things that I have commanded you and lo
30:33I am with you always even to the end of
30:35the age. Amen. How many you want Jesus
30:39with you? That he's the one building his
30:41church. Well, what's his instruction? He
30:44said, "Go make disciples, not converts,
30:49>> not church attenders."
30:52>> The word disciple
30:55means student,
30:58>> a pupil. He says, "Teach them."

31:06is I want someone come volunteer for me
31:07as a disciple quickly.

31:40people to church and they say no. See
31:42you don't have to start by inviting to
31:44church

31:54I started with somebody one day. I said,
31:56"How's your relationship with God?" I
31:57treat everybody like they already are
31:59serving Jesus. I I just assume you must
32:02love God. Amen.

32:07>> So, how's your relationship with your
32:08father? And the person said to me, I'm
32:11not religious. I said, praise God.
32:12Neither am I. Now, we can have a
32:14conversation.
32:16See, I'm not talking to you about
32:17religion.
32:19>> How's your relationship with God? And
32:21so, we start to have the difficult
32:22conversations. Roarius may have
32:25questions. You know, I hear down there
32:27at Faith Center, you guys all clap hands
32:29and and and go crazy and shout. Yeah.
32:32No, that's the way God loves to be
32:33worshiped. Let me show it to you from
32:35the word. See, now I'm going to teach.
32:38You don't have to be a theologian in the
32:40pulpit. You know why God asks you to
32:43clap hands. Isn't that right?
32:45>> You know why he says praise him. Let me
32:47tell you when the my journey when I
32:50first got saved, I didn't like clapping
32:52either. But once I realized how good God
32:54is and I saw it in the word, it exploded
32:56in me. And so now you can't stop me.
32:59Amen. Yeah. But what about this money
33:02thing? Well, let's go to the scripture.
33:04Let's see what the word has to say. And
33:06and eventually he says, "Well, maybe
33:08I'll come this Sunday." Yeah, come
33:09along. And I make sure he comes. I go
33:12pick him up.
33:14>> I'm not hoping he shows up.
33:18Amen.
33:19>> And I go and pick him up. And in the
33:20car, we have a conversation. And we get
33:22up here and Pastor Henry says something
33:25and we driving home. He says, "Now, why'
33:27your pastor say this?" Well, let me help
33:30you. The word says,
33:32>> come on. You understand? I'm now
33:35teaching there. There's no chance for
33:37offense because if you ever got offended
33:39on something, he's not going back to
33:41that church. Come on, Darius. Let's go
33:43have a cup of coffee.
33:45>> And we go sit down somewhere. What's
33:47what's what's bothering you? Well, this
33:49person over here, blah blah blah. Well,
33:51we're not there for that person. We're
33:53there for serving God. and and you know,
33:56we we can go sit on the other side of

34:05Before long, he's coming to church
34:07without me inviting him anymore. He
34:09comes on his own. He's clapping hands.
34:11He's giving willingly. He's loving God,
34:14praying in the spirit.
34:16I've made a disciple.
34:18>> Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. Have
34:20I?
34:22Because Jesus said, "Teach him
34:24everything I've commanded you."

34:29this instruction.

34:34to make a disciple.

37:46And so Canel does the same job with

37:58I'm satisfied that we now have a flow
38:01going, now I've truly made a disciple.
38:06Now I can move on and get someone else
38:10and begin the process. But you notice
38:13I'm going to keep this relationship
38:15alive. I keep watching over it and he
38:17will take over and do what I'm doing as
38:19well. Now watch this. Four generations.
38:24Four generations. Remember Paul wrote to
38:27Timothy.
38:29>> Paul wrote to Timothy. He said, "Find
38:33young men who are able to teach others."
38:36Also,
38:38>> remember John the Apostle
38:41wrote to the fathers and to the young
38:44men and to the children. You're going to
38:48find this all the way through the word
38:49of God. Abraham, God is the God of
38:52Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and Israel where
38:58Judah is birthed. and then becomes our
39:02Lord and Savior. Family of God, God is a
39:05God of generations. We cannot do the
39:07Christian life alone.
39:10>> Every single one of us needs to be able
39:14to do this. Every one of us. We have
39:16something back home where I can stop any
39:19member in the congregation and I want to
39:21say to them, who is discipling you and
39:25who are you discipling?
39:28Every single person needs to have
39:30someone discipling them. And who are you
39:33discipling? And only when we're doing
39:35this are we obeying this instruction in
39:39Matthew 28.
39:41>> Amen.

39:50Have a look at Ephesians chapter 4.
39:52Ephesians chapter 4 verse 11. God gave
39:57some how many? Some to be apostles, some
40:01prophets, some evangelists, and some
40:04pastors and teachers so that they can do
40:06all the work.
40:10Is that what it says? Why is your pastor
40:13given to you?
40:15So that he can equip the saints. That's
40:19every believer. Every believer doing the
40:23work of the ministry.
40:26>> Every believer. Say every believer.
40:28>> Every
40:28>> are doing the work of the ministry for
40:31the edifying of the body of Christ. That
40:32we all come to the unity of the faith
40:34and the knowledge of the son of God, a
40:36perfect man to the measure of the
40:38stature of the fullness of Christ. that
40:40we should no longer be children tossed
40:43to and fro carried about by every Tik
40:46Tok video or YouTube short
40:49with every wind of doctrine by the
40:51trickery of men in the cunning
40:52craftiness of deceitful plotting but
40:54speaking the truth in love. Grow up.
41:00Grow up.
41:02Bump your name and say it's time to grow
41:04up.
41:06grow up in all things into him who is
41:09the head Christ from whom the whole body
41:12joined and knit together by what every
41:14joint suppliers according to the effect
41:16of working by which every part does its
41:21share. Every member involved
41:25every single person doing their part
41:29causes growth of the body for the
41:31edifying of itself in love. How of us
41:34want to see faith center growth?
41:36>> That means every one of us are doing our
41:39part in making a disciple. No one is
41:42excluded from this. That's your
41:45Christian life. That's who you are.
41:47That's your DNA. You want to pass on to
41:49someone else what you've learned.
41:52>> Say amen.

41:54>> Paul told his disciple Timothy. He wrote
41:56the letters. You read both letters what
41:58it is. You can see Timothy was a very
42:00young man. Theologians put him between
42:02the age of 17 and 21. And he was
42:04pastoring one of the biggest churches at
42:06the time, Ephesus. And he was facing a
42:09lot of challenges. And uh as a young
42:13man, you can imagine one of the things
42:15that he faced was the older folk, you
42:18know, wanted who's this young whippers
42:19snapper? Is he going to tell us what to
42:21do? And Paul said, "Don't let them
42:23despise your youth. I know what gift is
42:26in you. I laid my hands on you. the
42:28faith that's in you is from your mother
42:30and your grandmother. You need to stir
42:33up the gift and and walk in what I've
42:35called you to do. And he writes here in
42:372 Timothy chapter 4 and he says in verse
42:415, "But you be watchful in all things.
42:44Endure afflictions. Don't let what
42:46people say put you off,
42:49>> but do the work of an evangelist fulfill
42:53your ministry.
42:56>> Do the
42:57work of the evangelist. See, he's not an
43:01evangelist. He's a pastor.
43:03>> But do the work of an evangelist. What's
43:05the work of an evangelist? Leading
43:08people to Jesus. That's everyone's
43:10responsibility.
43:12Leading people to the to Jesus and
43:14fulfill your ministry. What is the
43:18ministry of Timothy? Someone may say
43:22he's a pastor. Hang on. Now the work of
43:24the ministry is to equip believers for
43:27the work of the ministry.
43:29>> As a pastor, his responsibility is to
43:32equip believers for the work of the
43:34ministry. What's the ministry of a
43:37prophet? Well, it's to prophesy. No, no.
43:40Prophesying is not just about telling
43:41people's future. It's about declaring
43:44God's word in a way that believers are
43:48activated to do the work. The primary
43:52call of a prophet is to equip believers
43:56to do the work of the ministry. So they
44:00will prophesy, but their primary calling
44:03is to equip you to do the work of the
44:06ministry. See, a teacher, I don't get up
44:09here and teach just so that I have a
44:11platform. It's not just so God can show
44:13off the gift that's in me. That's not
44:15what it's there for at all.
44:18My job is not yet to make a grand show
44:21and put on a performance and have you
44:23whoop whoop and go home. Hallelujah.
44:25What a wonderful service. I want to stop
44:27you outside and say, "What changed in
44:29your life? What's different today? What
44:31did you learn today? What are you
44:33putting into action this week?
44:36There has to be purpose to the teaching
44:38and that's to equip you for the work of
44:40the ministry."
44:42>> And he goes down here to 2 Corinthians
44:45chapter 5. Also Paul writing 2
44:47Corinthians 5:18. Now all things are of
44:50God who has reconciled us to himself
44:54through Jesus Christ. Now what's the
44:56word reconciled mean? Let's go and have
44:59a look at Romans 5. Romans 5:6. When we
45:03were still without strength in due time,
45:05Christ died for the ungodly. For
45:08scarcely for a righteous man will one
45:11die. Yet perhaps for a good man someone
45:13would even dare to die. What's Paul
45:16saying? How many of us here have
45:18children? Can I just see your hand?
45:20Would you die for your child?
45:22>> See, without question, we answer yes, of
45:24course.
45:26How about your spouse?
45:32That is the classic answer worldwide.
45:38We know what we should say. Amen. Of
45:40course, we would die for our wife. Amen.
45:43My I would for my wife. You for your
45:44husband. if you are.
45:47But how about the next door neighbor?
45:53What about the stranger we walk past in
45:55the mall?
45:58Just for a moment, I want you to imagine
46:01who you would think in history. Don't
46:02call it out loud, but who would you say
46:04that personifies
46:06evil? Think of the most evil person that
46:10has ever existed. You in your mind
46:12that's evil.
46:14Would you die for them?
46:18>> Jesus did.
46:22>> Jesus did.
46:27>> While he's lying on the cross
46:30with nails being slammed through his
46:33hands,
46:35he looks into the eye of his executioner
46:39and says, "Father, forgive them.
46:41>> They don't know what they're doing. Can
46:44we give him praise?
46:46>> Can we give him glory?
46:51>> But God demonstrates his own love
46:53towards us in that while we were still
46:55sinners, Christ died for us. Much more
46:58than having been justified by his blood,
47:00we shall be saved from wroth through
47:01him. For if when we were enemies, we
47:04were reconciled to God, reconciled to
47:08God through the death of his son, much
47:09more having been reconciled, we shall be
47:11saved by his life.
47:13Not only that, we're also rejoicing God
47:15through our Lord Jesus Christ through
47:16whom now we've re received the
47:18reconciliation. Why did Jesus die? Not
47:22just to save our sins, save us from our
47:24sins. Why did he die? Not just to get us
47:27out of hell into heaven. He died to
47:29reconcile us with the father.
47:34>> It was sin that was separating us from
47:36the father. So the father wants us in
47:39heaven more than we want to be there. He
47:40wants to have us as a relationship. And
47:42he says, "If something's getting in the
47:44way of that relationship, let my son
47:47take it out the way." Cuz once it's
47:49removed, I can have you back with me.
47:56Reconciled.
47:58What is eternal life?
48:01If I had to ask that question today and
48:03ask people to answer and didn't answer
48:05anyone back, you know, sometimes when
48:07you go through a crowd and you get
48:08different answers, people might adjust a
48:09bit because it doesn't sound that the
48:11right one yet. And every answer would be
48:13almost right and probably be a subset.
48:17But what is the true definition of
48:18eternal life?
48:20You'll be surprised to find out it's not
48:22getting out of hell.
48:24It's not even living for eternity.
48:28John chapter 17:3. This is out of the
48:31mouth of Jesus. This is eternal life.
48:36What is eternal life, Jesus? That they
48:40may know you,
48:44>> the only true God and Jesus Christ whom
48:46you've sent.
48:48Not religion,
48:51>> not attending a service,
48:53>> not even singing a song. Cuz we can fake
48:56all those things.
48:59>> But you cannot fake a relationship with
49:01God.
49:03>> That's between you and him
49:06that they may know you. Everybody say
49:11reconciled.
49:12>> Reconciled.
49:14>> 2 Corinthians 5:18. Now all things are
49:16of God who has reconciled us to himself
49:19through Jesus Christ and has given us
49:23the ministry
49:25of reconciliation.
49:28What is the work of the ministry?
49:30The ministry of reconciliation.
49:34What is your calling? I'm called as a
49:37worship leader. Well, hang on now. What
49:40will happen to the singer if they lost
49:41their voice? Can they not fulfill their
49:43ministry? No. The job of a worship
49:46singer is not performance. It's not to
49:48sound great. It's not to put on a show.
49:50It's still going to be listen, are we
49:53going into the Holy of Holies right now?
49:55We're about to enter the throne of
49:57grace. I'm going to go worship my
49:59father. Will you come with me?
50:03>> See, it's reconciliation.
50:05That's the true heart of worship. If
50:07someone's standing at the door as an
50:09usher and you're welcoming people in the
50:11door, we don't have the right to wear
50:13our problems on our sleeves. It's like,
50:15you know, had a fight with someone on
50:17the way to church. Now I'm upset with
50:18them. Someone parked in my parking lot
50:20and now I welcome someone. No, you're
50:22not allowed to sit there. Don't go over
50:23here. Hang on. That person could be
50:25walking in here for the first time in
50:27their life.
50:29And between the car and before they get
50:31to the altar call, there's at least
50:33seven opportunities to be offended.
50:36>> Before they ever hear your pastor,
50:40>> how dare I put someone in a box and say,
50:43"You don't belong here. I don't care
50:44what they look like. I don't care where
50:46they come from. They are welcome. And if
50:49they sit in my chair,
50:52I had it one day. I came in the pastor.
50:54My chair, it's obvious. It's next to a
50:56table, got my water and everything. I
50:58walk in and there's a guy sitting in my
50:59chair.
51:01I don't go, "Excuse me, who? Who going
51:04to do?"
51:05No, there's lots of other chairs. I walk
51:08right past him and I went to go sit in
51:09another chair. Someone come move him. I
51:11said, "Leave him.
51:13>> He must be new."
51:19And so I preached and I mean he loved
51:22the word and he gave his life to the
51:25Lord that day in the altar call.
51:29I went up to say hello to him and all of
51:32a sudden he says, "Pastor, that is the
51:35best beep beep beep beep service I've
51:37ever heard."
51:40He just gave his life to Jesus.
51:43What' I do?
51:44>> No. No. I said, "Well, praise God. God,
51:46I'm glad it spoke to you. Let's begin
51:48your walk with Jesus. Can I find an area
51:50pastor here? Introduce him. See, I I
51:53don't want to You got to get Watch this.
51:56He has given us the
51:58>> ministry of reconciliation.
52:02Are there any ministers here? Can I see
52:04your hand?
52:06Hang on. Now, let's just read this. Now,
52:08all things of God, who has reconciled,
52:10who?
52:12>> Who?
52:13>> Who's us?
52:15>> Say it. me. Say me. He has given me.
52:21>> He's given me the ministry of
52:24reconciliation. Are there any ministers
52:26here?
52:27Okay, we're almost there. Listen, you
52:29you're taking time.
52:32He has given who?
52:34>> The minister.
52:37Minister. Minister.
52:40The minister
52:43of reconciliation. Any ministers here?
52:46Everyone put your hand up.
52:49Say this. I am
52:50>> I am
52:50>> a minister
52:52>> of reconciliation.
52:55>> And listen to this. That is that God was
52:57in Christ reconciling the world to
52:59himself. Here it is. Not imputing their
53:03trespasses to them. God is not blaming
53:06the world for their sin. Sinners sin.
53:10That's why they called sinners because
53:11that's what sinners do.
53:16Someone came to me one day, pastor, and
53:18they said, "Pastor Allan, do you know
53:20there's sin in this church?"
53:22>> I was shocked. Like, what?
53:26That's like going to a doctor and say,
53:28"Do you know there's sick people in this
53:30hospital?
53:32That's why we here. I want to fill this
53:35place with sinners." Jesus said, "I
53:37didn't come for the righteous. I've come
53:38for those who need to hear the good
53:41news." Stop blaming people for their
53:43sin. Bring them to the father. Let God
53:47deal with it. Let Jesus take the sin.
53:49Let him renew their minds. Let him
53:51change their hearts. And if they if the
53:54work is his, we get out of the law
53:58>> into the grace. And people will want to
54:00serve God.
54:02>> Come on, give Jesus praise.
54:05He wasn't imputed in their trespasses to
54:07them. He's committed to us the word of
54:08reconciliation. We are ambassadors for
54:12Christ.
54:13>> God was pleading through us. God's
54:16pleading through us. We implore you on
54:18cross Christ's behalf. Be reconciled to
54:20God. For he made him who knew no sin to
54:24be sin for us that we might become the
54:28righteousness of God.
54:30I pray today this message has inspired
54:32you.
54:34>> If you haven't yet done it, begin.
54:37Make a decision. There are people dying
54:39out there. There are people dying out
54:42there. You know, they got the ice storms
54:46back north.

55:11Family, Jesus is coming back.

55:17>> Cuz it is a day that's coming. Does my
55:20neighbor know him? Does my family know
55:22him? Does Let's be that. Can we stand
55:25together?
55:27>> Place your hand on your heart and say,
55:28"Today, I heard the word of God.

56:32Father, thank you for sending your
56:35servant all the way from South Africa
56:37this morning to speak to us
56:40to remind us as a church what our core
56:44responsibility
56:45is
56:47and that is to make disciples.
56:51Make disciples bringing them into the
56:54kingdom. And today's message was a
56:58confirmation
57:00of what you spoke to me about. What I've
57:02already spoken to the leadership of this
57:04church, what I've already spoken to the
57:07ministerial staff.
57:10Thank you that you are a real God.
57:14>> That when we think you're not listening,
57:17you're hearing our cry.
57:20And when we think sometimes God we have
57:23drifted far away from you, you just have
57:26a way of bringing us back in alignment
57:29to our purpose. So we thank you for this
57:32word today. May you bless him as he
57:34travels and travels back to South
57:36Africa. May you strengthen him and bless
57:39his church today. Bless his leadership
57:43team, his wife and his children,
57:45grandchildren. And father, as we leave
57:48this place today to go have lunch,
57:52dinner, whatever we're going to do for
57:54the rest of the day, as we start our
57:55week, we ask that your Holy Spirit will
57:58go with us, that you'll guide us this
58:01week, that this week we'll begin
58:04conversations with people that we'll
58:07begin to disciple them. will begin to
58:11show them the love of Jesus Christ on
58:13the job, our place of business, our
58:16family members, the the conversations we
58:19will have with people on the telephone
58:22and even when we post things on our
58:25social media platforms. Help us to uh
58:28post motivational scriptures to say
58:32things this week on social media that
58:35will bring hope to people and not become
58:38a part of the toxicity of our society.
58:42May you bless each and every one of us.
58:45Thank you for those who were convicted
58:48this morning to surrender their lives to
58:51you and to follow you. We look forward
58:55for what you're going to do Wednesday in
58:58our midweek service. May you continue to
59:00strengthen us. Thank you for those who
59:02believe in this ministry enough, dear
59:05God, to not only sew, but to to attend
59:09and to partner with the vision of this
59:12house. May your blessings be upon them.
59:14And together as we lift our hands and we
59:18say our confession, our benediction at
59:21the conclusion of every service, let's
59:23say it out loud, everybody. Faith in God
59:27will move mountains out of our lives.
