0:03is talking to the church at Philippi.
0:08Here's the message he gave them.
0:12He said, "Forgetting what is behind and
0:15strain toward what is ahead.
0:19I press toward the goal to win the prize
0:23for which God has called me heavenward
0:28in Christ Jesus,
0:31forgetting
0:33what is behind
0:35and reaching
0:37toward
0:39what is ahead.
0:41[sighs]
0:42Ah, this is this is going to be good
0:44this morning.
0:48>> Because as I was putting this message
0:50together and was trying to figure out
0:54what the topic of the message should be,
0:58after the Holy Spirit led me to the
1:00words of the Apostle Paul,
1:03there were many thoughts that came
1:04through my mind on what subject I could
1:08use. And the Holy Spirit kept bringing
1:12this subject up to me and and so I'm
1:14going to be obedient and just say to you
1:16this morning that God is sending a
1:19strong message that you ought to get out
1:23of your own way. [screaming]
1:31>> The only thing that's stopping you right
1:33now, it's you.
1:37You think people has, you know, they are
1:40the ones who have put up these
1:42roadblocks and these things to to derail
1:46your success, but no, it's you. Get out
1:48of your own way.
1:50There may be many people who have
1:53opposed you. That's a fact. There may be
1:57people who have criticized you and
2:00betrayed you and and maybe
2:02underestimated who you are, walked away
2:05from you, or even deliberately
2:09tried to hinder you.
2:12But after all they have done,
2:16I want you to know that they still do
2:20not have the final
2:23authority over your future.
2:27>> Amen.
2:28>> Everything that's working against you
2:29don't have the power to prevent your
2:32future.
2:34>> So at some point in time, you have to
2:36ask yourself this question. Am I
2:40allowing what happened to me to stop
2:43what God wants to do through me?
2:49Because sometimes the greatest obstacle
2:51standing between where you are and where
2:54God is called you
2:57is not one person or another person.
3:02Sometimes it's just you.
3:06>> Sometimes it's just your fear.
3:09It's your thinking. It's your
3:11unwillingness to try again. It is your
3:16attachment to what happened yesterday.
3:20And it's all about your excuses.
3:23It's your procrastination.
3:26It's your need for everyone to
3:28understand you. It is your fear of being
3:32criticized again. It is your
3:35unwillingness, watch this, to leave your
3:37comfort zone.
3:39Your unwillingness to leave that COMFORT
3:42ZONE. WE ALL HAVE THOSE comfort zone
3:46periods in our lives. And sometimes
3:49your refusal to believe that after
3:53everything you have been through, you
3:56fail to understand that God still has
3:59more for your life.
4:02He has more for your life. Proverbs 23:7
4:06teaches us that as a person thinks in
4:10his heart,
4:12so they become. How do you think about
4:15yourself?
4:17What do you think about yourself? What
4:20are the thoughts that are in your mind?
4:23Do you think that you can still be the
4:25best version of yourself? Do you still
4:29believe that you can be the man that God
4:31has designed you to be? Do you still
4:34believe that you are the woman of
4:37destiny and purpose? Do you still
4:39believe that there's hope for you when
4:42it comes to your career? When it comes
4:43to your finances, when it comes to your
4:46family, when it comes to your future,
4:48what are you thinking about yourself?
4:57Because sometimes
4:59the real problem
5:02is not what's attacking you.
5:05It's about your thought process.
5:08>> How do you think about you? So I've come
5:11today with one assignment. And that
5:14assignment God told me to tell you, get
5:17out of your own way.
5:20Stop allowing yesterday's pain to
5:23sabotage tomorrow's possibilities.
5:27Stop allowing your fears to make
5:31decisions that faith should be making.
5:36Stop allowing disappointment to convince
5:38you that your best days are behind you.
5:43[clears throat]
5:44>> Because the truth is, you've survived
5:47too much to stop now.
5:50You have learned too much to stop now.
5:53God has carried you too far for you to
5:56stop now.
5:59>> And my one assignment this morning is to
6:02teach you and to help you to get your
6:05spark back. You've lost it. Get your
6:08passion back. Get your discipline back.
6:11Get your prayer life back. Get your
6:14confidence back. And get your
6:16willingness to dream again back. get it
6:19back.
6:20>> God's not through with you. Because when
6:23your passion is reignited and aligned
6:27with the will of God, you can move
6:30FORWARD DESPITE what's coming against
6:33you.
6:34>> I know most of you are wasting time
6:37talking and focusing on what's coming
6:40against you.
6:42But today, I'm telling you, God wants
6:44YOU TO LOOK TO HIM, the author and the
6:47finisher of your faith, and believe that
6:50all things are possible. So, let me
6:53leave you with six simple things I want
6:54you to think about. I want really want
6:56you to consider these things, and I'll
6:58be out of your way and pray for some of
7:00you who literally literally have stood
7:03in the way of your progress.
7:06You're still talking about stuff that
7:09has been passed.
7:11It's a year ago. It's two years ago.
7:13It's five years ago. It's 10 years ago.
7:16Get out of your own way.
7:19>> Get out of your own way. Number one, you
7:21cannot move forward while living
7:23backward.
7:27It's very important.
7:30This is for someone today. Whether
7:32you're on campus or you're streaming,
7:34you cannot move forward while living
7:37backward. Paul said in Philippians
7:403:13-14,
7:42HE SAID, "FORGETING what is behind and
7:45straining toward what IS AHEAD, I PRESS
7:49on toward the goal." THERE'S A GOAL FOR
7:53YOU TO ACHIEVE.
7:55>> And you cannot reach that goal if you're
7:59looking behind. Notice the language Paul
8:03used here. forgetting, straining, and
8:06pressing. Those are the THREE THINGS YOU
8:08OUGHT TO BE DOING in this season of your
8:10life. Forgetting. I've come to announce
8:13to you. THERE ARE JUST SOME THINGS YOU
8:16NEED TO just forget.
8:21>> Forget it.
8:23It happened. Learn to forget it. Strain.
8:28Push forward. Make the effort.
8:32You're not living a life consumed by
8:34magic.
8:36You got to work out your own uh faith
8:39life. You got to walk it out.
8:43>> Some of us are too dependent on these
8:45quick fix breakthroughs.
8:48Yes sir.
8:49>> And that's why we get tricked by these
8:51ministries and these leaders, these
8:54people who call themselves prophets and
8:56prophetess and because we're looking for
8:58quick fixes. We want somebody with the
9:01oil to slap it on us AND WE FALL OUT on
9:04the floor and there it is. SOMETIMES YOU
9:07GOT TO WORK THIS THING OUT.
9:13Got to strain. You got to make the
9:16effort and you got to keep pressing.
9:19You cannot stop a PERSON WHO KEEPS
9:22PUSHING NO matter what. That's right.
9:25>> And so Paul is essentially saying, "I
9:28refuse to allow what is behind me to
9:31keep me from reaching what God has
9:35placed
9:36ahead of me."
9:39Sometimes you need to make that
9:41decision. That decision that's that
9:44says, "I'm pushing. I'm pressing on the
9:47upward way."
9:49You cannot change what happened to you.
9:53You cannot rewrite what someone did. You
9:57cannot recover every opportunity you
10:01missed. And you cannot spend the rest of
10:04your life trying to understand why
10:08somebody treated you the way they did.
10:13>> Just accept it.
10:16Accept it. They did it. You didn't
10:20expect them to do it to you. Some of you
10:24are still hurt over that huge betrayal
10:29and it has consumed you. You're standing
10:32in your own way of progress.
10:35But you cannot put your future on hold
10:39waiting for someone else to change.
10:45>> Let that sink in for a moment.
10:48Some of you have put your life on hold
10:51because you're waiting for someone to
10:54change.
10:58You're waiting. You're getting
11:00frustrated because they're not changing.
11:04But you cannot put your future Get out
11:07of your way. You can't put it on hold
11:10waiting for some else to change.
11:14Last week, I gave you a declaration.
11:17Remember that QR code I gave you and I
11:20wanted you to keep declaring those
11:22things over your life. If you remember,
11:25they're going to put it up on the
11:26screen. It says, "I will not allow
11:28criticism to silence me. I will not
11:31allow exhaustion to stop me. I will not
11:33allow discouragement to define me. I
11:36will not allow fear to what? Relocate me
11:39from my assignment. I am getting out of
11:43the cave, that place of depression.
11:49>> I'm getting out of that cave. I'm going
11:51back to my assignment.
11:54I'm pursuing my God-given dreams. I am
11:57reigniting my passion. And I will become
12:01everything God created me to be. and
12:04it's time to rise and to fulfill my
12:08God-given purpose on the earth.
12:12>> That's what you should be de declaring
12:14over your life for the rest of the year,
12:17that you are going to rise and fulfill
12:20your God-given purpose on the earth.
12:23Number two, don't let pressure make you
12:27abandon your assignment.
12:31Some of you are under pressure right
12:33now.
12:34You're smiling and you look like you've
12:36got it all together,
12:39but you're under pressure.
12:41And like I said last week, you're
12:44exhausted. You're tired. You're
12:45frustrated.
12:47You're praying and you're saying, "God,
12:49what is happening here? Why am I at this
12:52roadblock in my life?" And the truth is,
12:54you're standing in your own way based on
12:57your thinking.
13:00Some of you know what God has placed in
13:02your heart. You know you were called to
13:05become a doctor. You know you were
13:07called to become a lawyer. You know you
13:09were called to become a teacher. You
13:11know you were called to start that
13:12business. You know God called you to
13:15preach the gospel. You know you were
13:18placed or called into public service and
13:22leadership.
13:24You know you were called into that
13:26career. You know, you are the person God
13:29called to break generational curses in
13:33your family. Yet somewhere along the
13:37line, somewhere along the journey,
13:40pressure made you retreat.
13:46Look at you.
13:48Look at you.
13:50Five years have passed and you're still
13:53at the same place. And you're still
13:55blaming everybody
13:58for where you are.
14:02Still there. I'm going to do this. I'll
14:05do it one day. I'll do it. And it's been
14:07five years.
14:10You're getting older.
14:13You're blaming every You're blaming your
14:15ex for where you are.
14:21You are an unhappy,
14:23miserable,
14:25and an unfulfilled individual. And
14:28you're blaming someone who lied to you,
14:33cheated on you,
14:35>> took from you. They are out there living
14:39their best life
14:41>> while you're in a cave of depression.
14:49Look at your neighbor and say, "Get out
14:50of your own way."
14:57>> Fear has made you hesitate. Criticism
15:01made you questioned yourself. Failure
15:04made you stop trying. And disappointment
15:07made you lower your expectations.
15:12Oh, you prayed for it. You trusted God
15:15for it. But because you've been
15:17disappointed, instead of believing again
15:20and trusting God again, you've lowered
15:22your expectations
15:26>> because it didn't work the first time,
15:28so I guess it won't work again. Not
15:30knowing great successful people had to
15:34try multiple times before they succeed.
15:38Oh, somebody ought to give God a praise
15:40right there.
15:42So Romans 11:29 reminds us for God's
15:45gifts and his call are irrevocable.
15:51The gift is still in you. The anointing
15:55is still on you. You're still destined
15:58to be great.
16:00>> God didn't pull it back. God didn't take
16:03it back from you because of what you're
16:05going through. What God placed on the
16:08inside of you did not disappear simply
16:10because you've experienced a difficult
16:13season in your life.
16:15The assignment is still there. The
16:18assignment is still there. So go do it.
16:21The gift is still there. So please use
16:24it. The potential is still there. Well,
16:28I'm asking you tap into that potential.
16:32And as long as God has given you another
16:35day, there's still an opportunity for
16:39you to move forward.
16:43You ought to get tired of where you are,
16:45man.
16:47You ought to be tired of standing in
16:49your own way.
16:52My goodness, it's it's it's it's the end
16:55of September almost of 2026. Are you
16:58going to let 2026 close?
17:02and you're standing in your own way.
17:06Number three,
17:08Israel's greatest enemy [clears throat]
17:10was not giants.
17:14>> Your greatest enemy is not the people
17:17who you think are working against you.
17:21>> Israel's enemy, it brings me to the
17:23story of Numbers 13 and 14. God had
17:29promised Israel a land. We all know the
17:32story. Moses sent 12 spies into Canaan
17:35to investigate the territory. You know,
17:38go check it out. Let's find out what it
17:40is. When they returned, all 12 had seen
17:43the same land, the same land. All 12 saw
17:47the same fruit. All 12 saw the same
17:50cities. All of them saw the same giants.
17:55But they did not all have the same
17:59perspective.
18:02That's why I told you last week, you
18:04better be careful who you got in your
18:07circle.
18:09>> Be careful who you are hanging out with.
18:13>> Because how can two walk except they're
18:16in agreement? Be careful. 10 of them
18:19went to investigate
18:21how good this land is that God said we
18:25ought to possess. They all came back and
18:28they all saw the same thing. But they
18:30all have different perspective about
18:33what they saw. That's why if you going
18:35to call her your girlfriend, if you
18:37going to call him your boyfriend, if you
18:39going to call that person your best
18:41friend, you better make sure they
18:43thinking like you.
18:49YOU GOT TO MAKE SURE THEY'RE THINKING
18:50LIKE YOU because the Bible says, watch
18:53this. Numbers 13:31,
18:56he they said we can't attack those
19:00people. We can't we can't they are
19:04stronger than we are. In other words,
19:06they were saying there's some big dudes
19:08over there, man. They they big
19:11there's some giants over there, man. We
19:14can't possess that.
19:16How many times the devil has told you
19:18you can't do that
19:21and you share it with your friends what
19:23you're trying to do and all of a sudden,
19:25yeah, you can't do that.
19:27That's too big for you. That's too much
19:29for you. That's too presumptuous of you.
19:32Maybe this is not the time for you to do
19:34it.
19:36Look at what they said in verse 33.
19:39said, "We seem like grasshoppers
19:43in our own eyes."
19:47They diminished
19:49their value
19:52based on what they saw.
19:55How many of you have diminished your
19:58value because someone told you you ain't
20:01all of that?
20:04You ain't all of that.
20:07Who do you think you are?
20:12You're not that big. You're not that
20:13great.
20:15You can't achieve this. Why you going to
20:18buy that house?
20:20You don't need that house.
20:25Why you going back to school? Why you
20:27want to become this?
20:29Don't you see the stats been telling us
20:31ain't nobody going after that job? Cuz I
20:34ain't you.
20:38Can I just use a little bad English? I'm
20:41not you.
20:43>> So don't try to compare your interest
20:45with mine. I'm completely different. I'm
20:48going after what I believe that God has
20:51destined for me.
20:55>> They call themselves grasshoppers.
20:59The biggest problem was not how the
21:02giants saw themselves. NOWHERE IN THE
21:05BIBLE it says the giant says we big.
21:10>> We going to take these people. They
21:12ain't going to come get this land. We
21:14going to beat them up. The giants didn't
21:16say that.
21:19>> Some of you was I'm telling you man, you
21:23are defining the problem more than
21:27declaring who you are.
21:32All you do is talk about the problem.
21:34Their greatest problem was how they saw
21:37themselves. God said, "I have given you
21:40the land." That's what God said. Listen,
21:42if God says he's doing something in your
21:44life, then trust his word.
21:49>> He says that's yours. God said move
21:52forward. FEAR SAYS GO BACKWARD. GOD
21:56showed them promise.
21:59Fear showed them impossibility.
22:03>> And because they believe their fear more
22:07than they believe God's promise, they
22:10almost allow their own thinking to keep
22:12them from what God had prepared for
22:16them.
22:18We can't handle that. I don't know who
22:20this is for, but there's a big idea,
22:24something that has consumed you
22:28and it's scaring you
22:32cuz it's too big for me.
22:35I don't think I can do this. I don't
22:38have the resources to do it. I don't
22:40have all of the things together to do
22:42it. Cuz what you see is the giant.
22:47BUT IF GOD SAYS TO POSSESS IT,
22:50>> then go do it.
22:52>> That's all you have to do. Go after it.
22:55But Joshua and Caleb, they had a
22:57different perspective.
22:59They saw what everybody else saw. And
23:01here's their response. And these are the
23:03kinds of people I want in my circle. At
23:06the age 62, trust me, I don't want
23:10nobody negative around me no more. You
23:13got to go.
23:15I got a short window of time on this
23:18planet. I'm asking God for 38 more years
23:23on this planet. And I promise you, I
23:27don't want nobody who is negative to
23:31occupy the next 38 years of my life.
23:38Come on now.
23:40Here's what they said.
23:43Do not, Numbers 14:19 says, 'Do not
23:48rebel against the Lord and do not be
23:50afraid of the people of the land. The
23:54Lord is with us.
23:57The Lord, you see that one, that one
23:59line right there? The Lord is with us.
24:02Every time the enemy tells you you
24:05cannot, just shout it out. The Lord is
24:08with me. I don't care what you're going
24:10through. If you wake up every day
24:13saying, "The Lord is with me today, and
24:16I'm not afraid of anything the devil
24:20will throw at me."
24:24>> Woo! Glory to God, man. Same giants,
24:28same land, same circumstances,
24:31same mindset or different mindset, I
24:33should say. They all saw the same
24:36things, but Joshua and Caleb saw
24:38something different. I need me some
24:41Joshua and Caleb around me.
24:45>> Too long some of you been hanging around
24:46Judas's.
24:49>> That's all you camp out around Judas's.
24:53>> People smile in your face and pat you on
24:55the back and grin with you, but they'll
24:57sell you out in a heartbeat.
25:02[laughter]
25:03I need me some Joshua and some Caleb. I
25:06need me some people who say, "Henry, you
25:09can do it. We We can take that. We can
25:12possess that. We can achieve these
25:14things."
25:17Number three. Number four.
25:20Make the rest of 2026
25:24count.
25:27You still have time left in this year to
25:30make progress. Just get out of your own
25:31way.
25:33It's not too late to finish strong.
25:36Just stop rehearsing the past. Stop
25:39complaining about what didn't happen.
25:41Stop spending precious energy analyzing
25:45people who have already shown you who
25:48they are.
25:52>> There's a saying that says when they
25:54show you who they are,
25:57>> just believe them.
26:00>> Just believe them. Stop giving people
26:02free space in your mind
26:06>> who are not contributing to anything to
26:09your future.
26:13>> While you are so upset, still angry,
26:16still bitter,
26:17don't you see that you are wasting time?
26:22Number five, blessings
26:25are on the other side of your obedience.
26:30Now, this is very important because I
26:32got one more point and I'll let you go.
26:34Blessings are on the other side of your
26:37obedience.
26:39Few moments ago, I shared with you. Some
26:42of you, the one thing that's stopping
26:45you from experiencing the biggest
26:47breakthrough in your life is obedience.
26:53You have talked yourself out of your
26:55blessings.
26:56>> Wow.
26:58That woman who we just blessed this
27:02morning, I can almost assure you that
27:05probably there were moments this morning
27:07she felt, "Ah, should I go to church?
27:11Maybe I shouldn't go. Should I go here?
27:14should how many times God will want you
27:17at a particular place.
27:21Go possess the land,
27:24>> but your feelings.
27:28>> Do you know how many times God had
27:30somebody to bless you,
27:34but you come up with all the reasons not
27:37to, and you missed the moment.
27:40You missed the moment
27:43>> cuz you stood in your own
27:45[clears throat] way.
27:47>> On the other side of obedience is your
27:49blessing.
27:51>> If you just simply obey, first of all,
27:54God may be saying to you this morning,
27:56forgive.
27:58>> That's it.
28:00>> The blessing is on the other side of
28:04forgiveness. But no,
28:06>> no, I ain't never going to forget what
28:08they did to me.
28:10I'm going to take it to my grave. You
28:12will.
28:15>> Oh, you will.
28:19>> Some of you, it's just taken one act of
28:23obedience
28:25to say, "Let me just sign the documents.
28:29Let me just go on the computer and
28:31complete the application."
28:34You're one moment away from your biggest
28:38breakthrough.
28:41What you see here in the faith center 35
28:44years later is because of one man and
28:47one woman's obedience.
28:52One Saturday,
28:54if you all know, I preached a message
28:56one time titled from a bag of groceries
29:00years ago.
29:02We just left New York, came to Florida.
29:05I've been where you are at.
29:08A place where you felt that you are a
29:11foreigner. You you you don't belong
29:13here. This is strange. This is new. And
29:16when we came to Florida, we didn't have
29:18much. We didn't have much. But God said,
29:21"This is where you ought to be."
29:24And God spoke a word to me. I prayed.
29:26Some of you are praying. Here's the
29:27problem. You keep praying. You keep
29:29praying. Yes. And you're sincere. But
29:31your problem is you won't act.
29:38>> You've been praying for 30 years,
29:41>> but you won't move when God tells you to
29:43move.
29:44>> So that's that Friday night, I prayed. I
29:46said, "God," cuz you know, we we were in
29:48difficult times. I said, "God, we don't
29:50have any money. We have no food.
29:52Seriously, there was no food in the
29:53refrigerator. Nothing. Nothing in the
29:55pantry." And I said, "God, you got to
29:57make a way for us." I prayed and he said
30:01nothing. Listen, some of you make the
30:03biggest mistake when you pray and you
30:05don't hear God respond to you. You think
30:07God is ignoring you.
30:10But sometime if you just pray and wait
30:12on the Lord. Quick testimony. Saturday
30:15morning I woke up. And when I woke up, I
30:18prayed Friday night. Saturday morning I
30:21woke up. I heard the voice of the Lord
30:23said to me, "Go get your groceries."
30:26Now wait a minute. I'm saying this for a
30:28reason because I'm about to give you
30:30point number six.
30:33You pray for something,
30:36but God demands something of you that it
30:39requires crazy faith.
30:46And the thing is, will you obey?
30:50Because when God said to me, "Go to the
30:52grocery store and go get your
30:55groceries."
30:56My human mind start reasoning with a
31:01sovereign God who knows all things. Wait
31:04a minute, God. You know I'm broke. You
31:08know I ain't got no money. Why would you
31:10tell me to go to the grocery store for
31:13no money? We're reason. Some of you, God
31:16is telling you to do things, but you're
31:18processing it through your little peanut
31:20brain.
31:27>> You're trying to This can't work because
31:30that's what what I was doing. This can't
31:32work, God, because you're telling me to
31:34go to the grocery store.
31:37God said, "Just go." And I'll never
31:39forget uh if I could relive that over
31:41and over
31:43that Saturday morning,
31:46I when when God told me go to the
31:48grocery store instantly, I just said,
31:51I'm just what what do I have to lose?
31:54Some of you, you don't what what do you
31:56have to lose by just obeying?
31:59You're stuck anyway.
32:05>> You're stuck.
32:07You can't change it.
32:09>> Try obedience.
32:12>> And maybe on the other side of
32:13obedience bam
32:15>> you see the result.
32:17>> Well, quick fast forward here. I said to
32:19my wife, I said, "Come, let's go to the
32:21grocery store." You know the story. I'm
32:23not going to put her out there. But
32:27but she wasn't with it at the beginning
32:29cuz cuz it doesn't make sense. Come on
32:33now.
32:34And I said, "God told me to go to the
32:35grocery store, but we ain't we ain't got
32:37no money." Da da da da. Anyway, we got
32:39to the grocery store. We were in there.
32:41It was Wind Dixie and I got the cart and
32:43I'm going down the aisles and I'm taking
32:45seriously taking stuff off the shelves
32:47and putting it and you know, she's
32:49constantly you you be out of your mind
32:52cuz which food would go to a grocery
32:55store without money and so forth and and
32:57I said uh seriously, I was just obeying.
33:00Listen to me. There are times you're
33:04walking in faith.
33:06>> It looks stupid to you. It looks stupid
33:09to others. But if God said it,
33:13>> just do it.
33:16If God said it, just do it. And we kept
33:20going. We kept going. We kept going. It
33:22was just obedience.
33:24We got to the cashier. I was third in
33:26line. And while we were there and so
33:29forth, again, I'm not going to put my
33:30wife out there, but we were there and
33:32when we got to the third in line, she
33:36said to her man of about what 6 months
33:39we were married, I don't was the year,
33:43you don't remember?
33:46She said about 6 months we were married
33:51and she said, "I'll see you outside."
33:55True story.
34:02Some people will leave you hanging.
34:10Anyway,
34:13anyway, let me leave that alone.
34:16Long story short, a guy came through the
34:20door of the grocery store and he said,
34:23"Are you Henry Fernandez?" "Yes, sir."
34:26He said, 'I was home sleeping and the
34:28Holy Spirit spoke to me to come and give
34:30you this.
34:33Listen to me.
34:36What if I had stayed in my bed?
34:41I'm not going to no grocery store
34:44because I don't think that makes sense.
34:46I ain't got no money and why would I go
34:48into people's Some of you, you talk
34:51yourself out of what God is telling you
34:53to do.
34:57And by virtue of me doing that, years
35:00later, our church was birthed. Why?
35:02Because we're people of faith.
35:06>> So blessings are on the other side of
35:08your obedience. When God tells you to
35:11move, just move. When he tells you to
35:13forgive, forgive. When he tells you to
35:14serve, serve. When he tells you to give,
35:16give. When he tells you to start, just
35:18start. When he says stop, just stop.
35:22When God tells you to go back to your
35:25assignment, just go back. Finally,
35:28number six,
35:30get fired up again
35:33to be the best version of yourself. Some
35:36of you have lost your niche.
35:41You lost your fire.
35:43You've lost your passion.
35:46You've lost it. It's gone.
35:49Get fired up for Jesus Christ once
35:51again.
35:53Get fired up about your purpose.
35:57Get fired up about starting and sharing
36:00your faith, I should say. Get fired up
36:02about your prayer life, about worship,
36:05about generosity, about serving people,
36:09attending church consistently.
36:13Get fired up about getting involved in
36:16ministry.
36:17Get fired up about protecting your
36:19family, protecting your future, and get
36:23fired up about becoming the best version
36:26of yourself.
36:29Get moving.
36:32Get your passion back.
36:34Get your faith back.
36:37Get your discipline back. You can't keep
36:41doing what you're doing. Get out of your
36:43own way and get your vision back. Dream
36:47and dream big again.
36:50>> Get up out of your own way.
36:54Stop preventing yourself from walking
36:57into what God has called you to be. You
37:01know you're supposed to be much further
37:04in life.
37:06You know that God has more for you. Get
37:10out of your own way.
37:15And I'm send to just a few people here
37:17today.
37:19If you feel that you've been standing in
37:22your own way
37:24and you know it and this was the word
37:27that God used this morning to put some
37:30fire back in you. And I know what the
37:33devil is trying to tell you right now.
37:36He's putting all kinds of thoughts in
37:38your head.
37:40But on the other side of obedience, I
37:43promise you are blessings.
37:46If that's you this morning, this is how
37:49I want to end the service. I want you to
37:50move out of your seat and I want you to
37:53come right down here. I want to pray for
37:54you. For those of you who felt that
37:57you've lost your passion, you've lost
37:58your fire. Come on now. Make your way
38:02down here. I need to pray for you. If
38:05you felt that you have you've stood in
38:07your own way, this is for you. Get out
38:10of your own way and become the woman or
38:13the man that God has called you to be.
38:16Something's got to change in your life.
38:20You got to finish 2026
38:23in a better way. You cannot have the
38:25repeat of last year, this year. You
38:28cannot. I'm telling you, get out of your
38:30own way. When you leave this building
38:33today, when you log off today, you're a
38:36different person. You can't be the same.
38:39You cannot go to that workplace. You
38:41cannot go to that place of business the
38:43way you ended it on Friday. You're a
38:46different person. God has called you to
38:48be someone different. And it's all up to
38:52you. Every blessing, every need in your
38:55life, he has already made provision for
38:58it.
38:59>> The problem is, are you obeying?
39:02That's it. Sometimes you're just
39:04standing in your own way with your
39:06thoughts. And here's a tough part. Some
39:09of you have got to analyze the people
39:11you have in your circle.
39:13>> And I know that's hard cuz there's some
39:15people you're going to have to let go.
39:20>> It's hard.
39:22There's some people you're going to have
39:24to let go. Some of them you're going to
39:26have to do it kindly and nice. You know,
39:29I just think we're we just need we're in
39:31different path right now. And you know,
39:34I don't have anything against you and so
39:36forth. That's wonderful. But then there
39:38are some
39:40you just need to cut them off. Go cold
39:44cold turkey. Why? It's for you to
39:47survive.
39:51>> It's the only WAY YOU'RE GOING TO
39:52SURVIVE.
39:54You got to cut [clears throat] them off.
39:58Because at this stage of your life, come
40:02on man.
40:04You got to redeem the time,
40:07>> men, you got to redeem the time.
40:10>> Come on, man. Look at your age.
40:15>> Look at your age.
40:17>> Are you telling me that you're going to
40:19spend the next 10 years of your life
40:22standing in your own way?
40:25Are you kidding me? Your kids are
40:28dependent on your act of obedience.
40:32You can't say, "Well, I want a better
40:34future for my kids." And you're standing
40:36your own way.
40:39Come on, man.
40:41Women,
40:43you got to get out of your way.
40:46You're very emotional. That's how God
40:48created you. I get all of that. And I
40:51and I know you're going to say, "He's a
40:52man. He can say whatever. He doesn't
40:54have that emotional vibes of the woman.
40:57I get all of that. But listen to me,
40:59sis. I'm not trying to hurt you. At some
41:01point in time, you got to get over it.
41:06>> I know that's cruel. That's hard because
41:09just worrying about it is not going to
41:12change anything.
41:15At some point in time, you got to muscle
41:17up the strength and you got to say,
41:19"This is for me." down.
41:23>> I'm talking to some of you raising kids.
41:26My goodness, you're letting your kids
41:28driving you nuts
41:32cuz you have denied your destiny over
41:35your children cuz somebody lied to you.
41:38You got to kill yourself for your kids
41:41to live. Really
41:46get out of your own way.
41:49Your kids going to be all right.
41:51>> First of all, God just use you to birth
41:54them.
41:55>> It's his. Those kids belong to him.
42:03>> And you take that child and you say,
42:04"God, I'll leave this child to you." And
42:07you go to bed and rest. Told you that
42:10last week. I said, "Stop worrying about
42:12the job. Stop worrying about crazy
42:14people on the job.
42:17Stop worrying about crazy people in your
42:18family.
42:20>> Some of the people you were not going to
42:21change. Listen to me. You can fast for
42:2340 days and I promise you at the end of
42:2640 days they're going to be just the
42:29same way. Fix you.
42:34Fix you. You can't fix nobody else. Just
42:38fix you.
42:41Get out of your own way. Lift your
42:43hands. I want the congregation. Would
42:45you stand? We're going to do this
42:46together. Stand. Everybody standing and
42:48lift your hands. Come on. As high as you
42:50can. As high as you can. That's your
42:52spiritual antenna.
42:54Those of you are streaming, do the same.
42:57Father, in the name of Jesus this
42:59morning. Thank you
43:01that as a church together,
43:04we're standing in faith,
43:07asking you to teach us how to get out of
43:10our own way.
43:13That we can press,
43:15that we can strain,
43:18that we can push beyond
43:20where we are right now. And we can reach
43:24for the prize.
43:26reach for the greater things that you
43:29have in store for us. I pray for the
43:32many men and women who are standing in
43:35front of this stage all up and down the
43:37aisles and those who are streaming. I
43:39pray this morning that as we lift our
43:42spiritual antennas that we'll get the
43:45right signal from the Holy Spirit this
43:47morning and you'll give us the courage,
43:50the strength to get out of our own way
43:55to leave those things behind that are
43:59not good for us. Those memories, those
44:02hurts, those things we keep rehearsing,
44:06those things that keep traumatizing us
44:10every time we think about it that it
44:12changes our personality. It changes our
44:15character. God, in the name of Jesus,
44:19heal your people
44:22and help us that from this day forward,
44:25we'll never ever be the same again. I
44:30pray FOR THESE MEN STANDING IN THE AISLE
44:33and down front and those online in the
44:36name of Jesus. RAISE UP MIGHTY men
44:40today. I pray
44:42cover their minds in the name of Jesus.
44:45cover their minds, Father, in Jesus
44:48name. RAISE UP SOME JOSHUA AND CALEBS,
44:53>> MEN WHO WILL SAY IT DOESN'T MATTER WHAT
44:57THE WORLD AND SOCIETY IS SAYING. WE SEE
45:01A GOD WHO IS BIGGER THAN OUR PROBLEMS,
45:06a God who is greater than our situation.
45:11touch these women
45:13that they'll see that God even if they
45:16don't have a man on the earth YOU GOD
45:20SAID [cheering] YOU SHALL SUPPLY THEIR
45:23EVERY NEED. HELP THEM to look in the
45:25mirror and see themsel as virtuous
45:28women. Help them to look in the MIRROR
45:30AND SEE THEMSEL AS WOMEN WHO ARE CALLED
45:33OF YOU.
45:36Women who still have purpose.
45:39So I thank you today.
45:42I thank you today that you're birthing
45:43something new in your people. You're
45:45birthing something new in your people. I
45:49thank you that breakthroughs are taking
45:51place all over this auditorium online.
45:54And Father, we give you all the praise
45:56that you're healing them. And when we
45:58walk through these doors, we will never
46:01ever stand in our way ever again. We're
46:05going back to that job and it's going to
46:08be different. We're going to open that
46:10business. It's going to be different. We
46:12going to go back into that classroom.
46:14It's going to be different. We're going
46:16to go home. It's going to be different.
46:18We're going to have those meetings this
46:20week. And God, we're going to be
46:22different. Why? Because we have now
46:25removed ourselves out of the picture.
46:28And we are now elevating you. And we ARE
46:32DECLARING IF GOD [screaming] BE FOR US,
46:37>> who can be against us?
46:40>> So we thank you. Lord,
46:42>> may we have an incredible week.
46:45>> I pray that you would touch our Bible
46:47study on Wednesday
46:50that we come back and we study your
46:52word. We look forward for next Sunday,
46:55God, that you will do a new thing as we
46:57close out this series.
46:59I pray that we will go out and be
47:01evangelists,
47:02inviting people to come and worship with
47:05us. We honor you and we give you praise.
47:08With hands lifted up again, we'll say
47:10our benediction.
47:12Everybody declare it. If you're going to
47:14get out of your way, come on, declare
47:15it. Faith in God will move mountains out
