0:00a very familiar passage of scripture.
0:04We some of us, those of us who've been
0:06in the faith for a long time, we know
0:09this. We know this. So, I'll be reading
0:11from Matthew chapter 5
0:14verse 14- 16. But before I do that, I
0:19mentioned earlier that we're in the
0:22fourth quarter of this year. So there's
0:26a lot of things I think each and every
0:28one of you should take care of in this
0:31fourth quarter. If you're a Christian, a
0:34follower of Jesus Christ, I'm not
0:36talking religion
0:38and what some people have painted as
0:41Christianity today. But if you're
0:43following the word of God
0:45and you're not yet baptized,
0:48next Sunday will be flooded. It's the
0:51last baptism of 2026.
0:56Don't let this pass you.
0:58If you know that you have decided to
1:02follow Jesus, use this opportunity next
1:05Sunday to be baptized. If you know of
1:08anyone who have confessed the lordship
1:10of Jesus, has nothing to do with church
1:13membership,
1:14but have everything to do with your
1:16public declaration.
1:18Please make sure that you guys go to the

1:34And then tomorrow night, it's going to
1:37be a very special prayer service. You do
1:39know our church the first Monday of
1:42every month unless there's a holiday
1:45fallen on that Monday we have our prayer
1:48service. I would ask that you come out
1:52one hour one hour. I promise you you
1:55will not regret it. Just come out for
1:58prayer. But also, I've asked the
2:00ministers to be prepared tomorrow
2:03because we're in the fourth quarter. And
2:05what we're going to do is to anoint
2:07every person for favor and greatness in
2:122026 for the next three months. If you
2:15believe that this is your season to be
2:17anointed, I ask that you come out
2:19promptly at 700 p.m., not 7:30. That's
2:22on Wednesday, but for tomorrow it is 700
2:26p.m.
2:28In the book of Matthew chapter 5
2:32from the 14th verse, it says you are the
2:37light of the world. You are, who's he
2:40talking about? Those of us who are
2:42Christians, those of you who are going
2:44to decide now that you need to be
2:46baptized. You're the light. He says,
2:50"Don't forget that you are the light of
2:51the world. A town built on a hill cannot
2:55be hidden."
2:57Then he says, "Let your light shine. Let
3:00your light shine before others
3:03that they may see your good works or
3:05your good deeds and glorify
3:09your father
3:11in heaven." Our Father in heaven, we
3:14come to you this morning
3:18to honor you
3:20and to
3:22sit at your feet right now to hear you
3:26use
3:27one of us
3:30to tell us what you want to hear, what
3:32we want to hear, and what we need to
3:35hear in this season.
3:38I prepared myself. Therefore, I ask that
3:40you would think with my mind and speak
3:43with my vocal cords,
3:46that your people hear you
3:49and you alone.
3:51We thank you that you're raising up a
3:54group of people here at the faith center
3:57to live kingdom culture and to be the
4:01salt and the light
4:04to Broward Dave Palm Beach, the whole
4:07state of Florida, the United States of
4:10America and the world
4:15because time is winding down
4:18and you're looking for a people
4:22who will be the light.
4:25Bless your word now we pray in Jesus
4:28name. And everybody shout amen.
4:32>> The Lord bless you. You may be seated in
4:34the presence of the Lord.
4:40So, I'd like to
4:44challenge all of you
4:47that the unbeliever
4:50is waiting to see your light.
4:55The unbeliever.
4:58In Matthew 5, the Bible says, "You are
5:00the light of the world." The world.
5:02That's the unbeliever.
5:05It's not talking about the global world.
5:08Because in the world you have kingdom
5:10citizens.
5:12So when Jesus says you are the light of
5:15the world, I think all of us need to
5:18understand that the unbeliever is
5:20weighed in to see the light. There are
5:23unbelievers in this room this morning.
5:25There are unbelievers who are streaming.
5:28They
5:29need to see the light of Jesus Christ in
5:34all of us. And so throughout the month
5:37of September,
5:39God
5:41challenge us to ignite. Remember that
5:44was the theme last month, to ignite, to
5:48reignite our passion, to restore our
5:52spiritual fire, and to become the best
5:56version of who he has created us to be.
6:00But now that the fire has been ignited,
6:04I think we have exhausted that in
6:07September. The fire has now been
6:10exhausted. Uh been ignited, I should
6:12say. There's another question we must
6:15answer.
6:17What are we going to do with the light?
6:22If we've been ignited to follow Jesus
6:25and to live the word and to be the light
6:28of the world, what are we going to do
6:32with the light? You see, God did not
6:35ignite you to simply uh so that you can
6:39feel better just about yourself. He did
6:42not ignite that fire so that you can
6:44just say, "Oh, I'm on fire for the Lord
6:47and look at me and and you know, I'm
6:50anointed. I'm gifted. No, he ignited
6:54you so that someone else can see the
6:59better in you, the transformed you, and
7:03then in turn would want God to transform
7:08them too. That's what people are waiting
7:12for. Jesus said in Matthew 5:14, "You
7:16are the light of the world." Notice
7:18Jesus didn't say you should try to
7:22become the light. No, he said you are
7:25the light. If you're born again, you are
7:28the light. Don't try to become the
7:31light. You are the light. He's not
7:33talking about daily dying to self and,
7:38you know, walking in righteousness.
7:40That's not what he's saying here. You
7:41are already the light. The moment you
7:44surrender your life to Jesus Christ, you
7:47are the light. That means everywhere you
7:51go, you carry something this world
7:54desperately needs.
7:57You carry hope into hopeless
7:59environments. You carry peace into
8:03chaotic environments. You carry
8:06integrity
8:07into compromised environments. You carry
8:11compassion into insensitive
8:15environments,
8:17but also you carry faith into fearful
8:22environments and you carry the presence
8:25of God into places outside the church
8:30building.
8:32You carry the presence of God.
8:35God did not raise you up. For those of
8:37you are Christians now, I'm talking to
8:39you. You're not Christian so that you
8:41can come into this building or whatever
8:44church you attend to outshine each other
8:49>> to compete with each other
8:52>> to receive a pat on the shoulder. No,
8:56you carry the presence of God into
8:58places other than a church building.
9:02Here's what you need to know, my
9:04brothers and sisters. The unbeliever,
9:07they're watching.
9:09They're watching.
9:11They may never tell you. They may never
9:14ask you about your faith. They may never
9:16quote a scripture, but they are watching
9:19how you live.
9:22They are watching how you handle
9:24pressure.
9:25They are watching how you treat people.
9:28Oh yes. And they are watching how you
9:32respond when you are offended.
9:35They're watching you. When that boss,
9:39that co-orker, that family member, that
9:42church member, that community, your
9:45neighbor, they are watching to see how
9:47you respond
9:50to how people treat you. They're
9:53watching to see how you respond when
9:57people lie on you, criticize you, when
10:00people uh just throw you out there and
10:03you can't defend yourself. They are
10:04watching how are you responding when you
10:08get offended.
10:11They are watching whether the Jesus you
10:13talk about on Sunday is visible in your
10:17life on Monday through Saturday.
10:21They're watching you. And so your life
10:25may be the only one
10:29or the only thing it your life may be
10:32someone else's I should say first
10:34sermon. It's the only sermon they will
10:36see. And that is why God is looking for
10:39his people to become living examples of
10:44what transformation
10:46looks like. Not perfect people. He's not
10:50saying you ought to be perfect, even
10:52though you ought to strive for
10:53perfection. He knows we're not perfect,
10:56but he's looking for transformed people
11:01to show that transformation to the
11:03world. It's a people who can say when
11:06they look at you, I've been hurt, but
11:09I'm still loving.
11:12People will hurt you, but are you still
11:15loving in spite of the hurt? Too often
11:19we Christians get offended and hurt by
11:22people and instead of walking in the
11:24light of the scriptures, we are acting
11:28as bitter, angry, hurt people.
11:35God is looking for people. Yes, you've
11:38been hurt, but you're still loving.
11:43>> I've been disappointed, but I'm still
11:45believing.
11:47When are we going to get beyond this
11:50attitude that when our prayers don't get
11:52answered, we get mad and we sabotage
11:55God. We're not praying. We're not
11:57reading the word. We're certainly not
11:59going to church.
12:04>> You will get disappointed.
12:07>> Who told you that you can just wave your
12:10magic wand every morning and that's it?
12:13God must just comply to your wishes.
12:17God is looking for people who will say,
12:19"I've been knocked down, but I'm still
12:22standing.
12:24>> I've been through some dark seasons, but
12:28my light is still on."
12:32>> And I'm still going to trust God.
12:34>> Paul made this bold statement. He says,
12:38"Shine among them like stars in the
12:42sky."
12:44Shine among them. Your job as a
12:46believer, my job as a believer IS TO
12:49SHINE AMONG THE DARKNESS in the world.
12:52In other words, darkness is not an
12:55excuse for your light to disappear.
12:59>> Rather, darkness is the reason your
13:02light is necessary. Amen.
13:05>> So,
13:07ladies and gentlemen,
13:09last week I talked about Tabatha in Acts
13:13chapter nine. If you weren't here,
13:16please go listen and read and watch the
13:18message on YouTube. Tabatha was a
13:22committed uh disciple of Jesus who lived
13:27a life of service and generosity. Now,
13:31watch this. When she died, the people
13:33immediately recognized what had
13:37disappeared from their community.
13:40They immediate, the moment this great
13:43woman, a follower of Jesus Christ, her
13:46life was so impressive in the community
13:49that when she died, THEY NOTICE IT
13:52IMMEDIATELY. SOMETHING IS MISSING.
13:55The woman of God
13:58who preached Jesus, but not only
14:00preached him, lived him because she took
14:03care of the poor.
14:06She clothed people. She did her job.
14:10She's now gone. And according to verse
14:1239, it tells us that the widows, the
14:15widows, it Tabitha is dead. She's dead
14:18now. The widows stood around Peter
14:21crying and showing him the clothing that
14:24Tabatha had made for them. Why? Because
14:28her life had made a difference. They're
14:30saying to Peter, "WE NEED TO DO
14:33SOMETHING ABOUT THIS. This woman was so
14:37needed in the community, right? Our
14:40husbands have all died.
14:42And it was this woman WHO KEPT US. THIS
14:45WOMAN WHO WAS THERE, THIS WOMAN WHO GOD
14:48USED TO GET US through our difficult
14:53seasons,
14:55she's gone. And when Tabitha was gone,
14:58something was missing. And that should
15:02challenge all of us today. Here's the
15:04question. IF YOU DISAPPEAR from your
15:06environment, would anyone miss your
15:09light?
15:12>> God,
15:12>> would they be glad? I'm so glad you took
15:15that one out of here, Jesus.
15:18>> Good question.
15:19>> OR WOULD THEY SAY, "WAIT A MINUTE, GOD.
15:22>> I NEED TO FIND ME A PROPHET. I NEED TO
15:24FIND ME A PASTOR. I NEED TO FIND ME AN
15:26INTERCESSOR BECAUSE I REFUSE TO HAVE
15:29THIS PERSON TO LEAVE MY LIFE BECAUSE
15:32THEIR LIGHT WAS SO BRIGHT.
15:34>> I don't know how I'm going to make it
15:36without them."
15:39>> Not just your personality.
15:42Some of you got some big personality,
15:44but you don't have a light.
15:50>> You don't have the light.
15:53Not just your position. Some of you are
15:54craving about positions. You seek after.
15:57It's all position, position, position.
15:59But you don't have the light. Do you not
16:02know to whom much is given?
16:07>> Much is required.
16:09>> Not just your title. Would
16:12anybody miss the God that they once
16:16experienced through you?
16:19>> Now listen,
16:21there's a light on the inside
16:25that someone desperately needs.
16:29The person you are dating needs it.
16:33Listen to me. Those of you are single,
16:36that person you are dating,
16:38they're in desperate need of that light.
16:42Cuz if you don't shine,
16:46then there's a good chance if they're
16:48shining, you're going to somehow blow
16:50their light out. It is exhausting trying
16:54to love somebody who lives in darkness.
17:01>> Come on now. Don't leave me out here by
17:03myself. It is exhausting
17:07trying to love somebody who's toxic.
17:14>> I know some of you not going to like
17:16this this morning.
17:19>> Come on now.
17:22Your husband or your wife needs it. Yes
17:26sir.
17:27>> They need that light
17:29>> for the marriage to survive and for the
17:31marriage to potentially fulfill what it
17:35is capable of.
17:38They need to see your light.
17:41Not your greed,
17:43not your pride,
17:46not your selfishness,
17:49but the light.
17:51The light. Your children need it. They
17:55need that light. Your co-workers need
17:56it. Your employees need it. Your
18:00neighbor needs it. Your community needs
18:03it. Yes,
18:06everybody around you. They're in
18:09desperate need of that light. And there
18:10are unbelievers
18:13who may not be interested in hearing
18:16another sermon.
18:19They may not be interested in going to
18:21church, but they are interested in
18:23seeing whether Jesus actually makes a
18:27difference in your life.
18:30And just maybe
18:33he will do the same in their life.
18:36How long are we just going to be people
18:39who pack out an auditorium
18:42and criticize the sermon, criticize the
18:46outfits,
18:47criticize the seat that you didn't get
18:49to sit in? How long are we going to be a
18:52group of selfish people who just want
18:56people to see us as the only light?
19:04When are we going to come together
19:06>> and say it's not about us,
19:09>> it's about shining so that the world can
19:12believe in the Jesus that we believe in.
19:15Oh, somebody ought to give God a praise
19:17for that.
19:21That is why Jesus said, "Let your
19:22light," Watch this. Let your your your
19:26listen to me. Some of us as Christians,
19:28we need to stay out of people's
19:30business.
19:32and focus on our own.
19:35>> He says, "Let your light shine
19:39>> before others that they may see, not
19:44just hear, see your good deeds." What
19:48are you doing? Don't tell me you're born
19:50again and your actions don't line up
19:53>> to a transformed life.
19:57No, don't tell me you are born again and
20:00you don't have the fruit of the spirit.
20:03>> Don't tell me you are born again, but my
20:06goodness, you are a spiritual terrorist.
20:15>> He said, "People want to see the light
20:16in you and glorify your father in
20:20heaven." Notice the language. He said,
20:22"Let them see." You see, Christianity
20:25was never designed to be something we
20:29merely talk about.
20:32>> It must become something people can see.
20:35Yes.
20:36>> So, as we move forward to the end of
20:382026, I'm challenging you to stop
20:42talking about what you're going to do as
20:45it relates to becoming the best version
20:48of yourself and start living it
20:51according to the word of God. So, no
20:55more no more talking about how you're
20:58going to change. Just change.
21:02>> That's it. No more talking about how
21:05you're going to serve. Just serve.
21:08>> No more talking about how you're going
21:10to share your faith.
21:12>> Just share your faith.
21:14>> Let's share your faith.
21:17Cuz you know, we talk. We go to the job.
21:20By the time you get home, some of you
21:21going to go to brunch. You're going to
21:23have conversations, right? Some of you
21:25are sitting right now in church on your
21:27phone. You're listening with one ear,
21:28but you're down on your phone and you're
21:30scrolling to cuz you still got to be up
21:33to all what's trending on social media.
21:36You you you you you
21:42>> you're you're not even taking notes of
21:44the sermons. You know what you're doing?
21:46You're you're still you you're you're
21:48liking and you're when when JUST STOP
21:51TALKING ABOUT YOU'RE GOING TO share your
21:52faith. Start sharing it.
21:55The energy you use TO BE IN ALL these
21:58social media trends,
22:00>> if you would redirect that
22:03>> to share your faith, I wonder how many
22:05unbelievers will come to know the light.
22:10>> Share it. No more talking about becoming
22:13the best version of yourself. Just
22:15become it.
22:17The Bible says, "Do not merely listen to
22:19words.
22:21Do what it says.
22:24Don't just Okay, I'm do what the word of
22:26God says.
22:28God in you must become more than your
22:32confession. God in you must become
22:34visible through your actions.
22:37And so I want to leave you with two
22:41things that you must do if you're going
22:45to stay lit.
22:55If you're going to stay lit
22:58and show an unbelieving world how
23:02amazing your God really is.
23:07Please pardon me, but some of us are
23:11honestly a poor representation
23:16of this amazing God.
23:19Think about that.
23:21>> We are a poor representation.
23:25If you are the brand
23:27>> of Christianity,
23:29>> if you are the brand of salvation, if
23:32you are the brand of a transformed life
23:36>> and acting that way,
23:39>> talking that way,
23:41>> who wants it?
23:45>> Come on now. We got to do better. Look
23:48at your neighbor and say, "We got to do
23:49better." Man,
23:51if we're Christians, we got to do
23:53better. So, here are the two things.
23:55Number one, live so that people can see
23:59the difference. 1 Peter 2:12 tells us,
24:02"Live such lives among the pagans."
24:06Who's the pagans? The world. That they
24:09may see your good deeds and glorify God.
24:13So if we're going to reach unbelievers,
24:17we cannot simply just tell them
24:19Christianity works. They need to see its
24:22fruit.
24:23>> Because your greatest weakness may not
24:25be what comes out of your mouth, but
24:28your greatest weakness
24:30may be what comes out of your life.
24:34It's how you conduct
24:37business. Cuz how you conduct business
24:40matters. How you treat the waiter
24:43matters. How you speak to your spouse
24:46matters.
24:48>> How you raise your children matters. How
24:52you treat people who cannot do anything
24:54for you
24:56>> matters. How you respond when someone
25:01mishandle you matters
25:05>> because people are watching
25:08to determine whether your faith has
25:12actually transformed you.
25:15According to Paul, he says if anyone is
25:18in Christ, he says you are what? New a
25:21new creation.
25:23It has come. And he says, "The old has
25:26gone, the new is here." So if Christ is
25:31transforming you and me internally,
25:35eventually there ought to be something
25:38external. There ought to be an external
25:41evidence of that transformation.
25:44People should see the growth. Yes, they
25:46should see the growth in you. They
25:47should see the maturity in you. People
25:50should see love in you. People should
25:52see what's this discipline in you.
25:56People should see what integrity in you.
25:58People should see generosity in you. You
26:02can't be a Christian and all you want is
26:05hand out every time. Bless me. Bless me.
26:08Bless me. And you never give anything
26:11away.
26:14>> It's impossible.
26:16YOUR ENTIRE FAITH was birthed on
26:19generosity for God. so loved the world
26:24>> that he was generous.
26:26>> Come on now. People should see
26:28forgiveness in you. Some of us as
26:31Christians, we've got to change in this
26:34area of forgiveness.
26:36>> Your heart is too cold.
26:39>> It is hard as a rock
26:42>> cuz you won't forgive
26:45>> and you call yourself a Christian.
26:48>> You won't forgive. I'll never forgive.
26:50I'm never going to forget that. No, you
26:52need to get delivered.
27:01>> How dare you take God's forgiveness and
27:04you can't give it away yourself.
27:07This is good.
27:10>> People should see something different in
27:12you
27:14because Jesus said by this by the
27:18difference in your life.
27:20They will know that you are my disciples
27:24if you love one another. He didn't say
27:27that they would know us by our church
27:29attendance. He didn't say that they
27:31would know us by our titles.
27:34He said that they would recognize us by
27:37how we love.
27:39>> Yes, sir.
27:40>> So, don't tell me how large your church
27:42is. Don't tell me how great your singers
27:45are. Don't tell me how great the pastor
27:48is. Don't tell me how nice and organized
27:51your church is. If there's no love in
27:54the church,
27:56>> you're not transformed.
28:00>> It goes from leadership all the way
28:01down. Do not judge your pastor Henry
28:04Fernandez based on how he can articulate
28:08the word and how he delivers the word,
28:10his charisma, his style. That ain't got
28:12nothing to do with is this guy a
28:15transformed guy. Is he walking around
28:17with Christian characteristics
28:20>> and the same goes for you.
28:25>> So don't just announce your light,
28:27demonstrate it.
28:28>> Let me say it again. Don't just announce
28:30it. Demonstrate it.
28:32>> Demonstrate it.
28:34>> Someone around you is quietly asking,
28:38"Is your God real?"
28:41>> They're asking, they may not say it to
28:43you verbally, but in their head, they're
28:45thinking, "Is your God real?" The
28:48unbeliever, they are waiting to see the
28:52light. And in this month of taking the
28:55light into THE DARK PLACES, THEY'RE
28:57WAITING TO SEE THE LIGHT. THE second um
29:01thing I want you to think about as I try
29:03to close this, take the light wherever
29:05you go in the darkness.
29:09Verse 15 says, "Neither do men light a
29:12lamp and put it under what?"
29:16They don't hide it, but instead they do
29:19what? They put it up to what? To stand.
29:24They put the light up to be seen. A
29:27light is never or a light that never
29:30leaves the church building cannot
29:33fulfill its purpose.
29:35If the only time you put the light on is
29:38when you drive into the parking lot of
29:40555 Northwest 95th Avenue
29:44and you come in this auditorium, bam,
29:48you light up.
29:50You light up with your shout. You light
29:52up with your speaking in tongues. You
29:54light up and you're looking like a
29:56saint, like a real Christian.
29:59>> And by the time you get back in your car
30:02>> and your tail light gets out of the
30:05parking lot,
30:09>> you blow it out.
30:18We cannot spend all of our time shining
30:21light on people in the church who
30:25already have the light.
30:27Jesus expects us to take the light into
30:30the dark places, into our neighborhoods,
30:33>> into businesses, into schools, into our
30:36workplaces, into restaurants,
30:39into social media, into our
30:41conversations, into our relationships,
30:44and into our communities.
30:47That's why Jesus says, "Go into the
30:49world and preach the gospel to all
30:52creatures, or all creation."
30:56I know this is boring for some of you.
30:59>> I know this is this because the church,
31:02especially those of us who who got a
31:05little bit of mixture of Pentecostalism
31:07and word of faith.
31:11>> We do not like sound doctrine.
31:15>> We like hype
31:19>> and we like
31:21>> to hear stuff.
31:25itchy ears.
31:28>> We get bored.
31:30>> We're so disorganized and disrespectful
31:32that even when God is speaking, I don't
31:34want to hear this.
31:36>> We're busy. We got to go.
31:38>> Got to go do this. No wonder you don't
31:41have a light.
31:46>> No wonder you don't have And I'm not
31:48here. Don't take this sermon as this
31:50preacher cursing people. No. No. No. No.
31:52No. No. No.
31:54If he loves you,
31:56he'll speak to you.
31:59>> And I'm telling you this morning, God
32:01gave me this word to speak to you. You
32:04cannot go into the world to show them
32:08the light when you don't have it
32:10yourself.
32:17>> The church must go into the world.
32:19Therefore,
32:20there are people around you right now
32:24who are hurting. Please hear me.
32:27Silently.
32:30Silently.
32:32People are hurting and they're looking
32:33for the light. Do you know how many
32:35people walk in this room right now
32:36streaming who are hurting silently?
32:42And God is saying, "I want to use you
32:45to be the help for them on their healing
32:49journey."
32:51Someone is discouraged right now.
32:53Someone is questioning their purpose.
32:55Some someone's marriage is struggling as
32:58I'm preaching. Someone is afraid.
33:00Someone feels forgotten. Someone has
33:03given up on church. Someone has even
33:06given up on God.
33:10And God may have strategically placed
33:13you, yes you,
33:16in that person's life.
33:19>> The person you're dating probably has
33:21been damaged so badly
33:24that God strategically placed you to
33:27show them what it means to be redeemed,
33:31to show them what it is to be the best
33:34version of yourself.
33:36You've married someone who've made
33:38mistakes or have come from a bad family
33:42and God is using you the light
33:46to show your spouse
33:48of a God that can transform people.
33:53Someone right now is afraid. They feel
33:57forgotten. They've given up on church.
34:00AND GOD IS USING YOU RIGHT NOW TO SAY,
34:03"You're the light. give them hope. So,
34:07don't underestimate a conversation that
34:09you're having with your co-workers and
34:12your family members and friends. Don't
34:13underestimate your an invitation. Don't
34:16un underestimate an act of kindness.
34:19Don't underestimate sharing your
34:20testimony. Don't underestimate praying
34:23with someone. And don't underestimate
34:26saying,
34:28"Let me
34:30tell you what God has done for me."
34:33Don't
34:35when you go to the cafeteria this week,
34:39when you go out with friends and family,
34:42don't miss the moment
34:45in the midst of the conversation
34:49to say, "Let me tell you about what he
34:50did for me.
35:09cuz people are hurting.
35:16You may be okay,
35:19but there are people
35:23who are desperately need to hear
35:29that God can do it for them,
35:33>> that he can change them,
35:37>> that he can open up the floodgates of
35:39heaven and he can restore them
35:43cuz somebody has to tell them somebody
35:46has to show them and somebody has to go
35:51and why not you? So I say to you today,
35:53stay lit
35:55because the unbeliever is waiting to see
35:58your light.

36:07must now be about doing something with
36:10the fire.
36:12>> God did not ignite you. He didn't ignite
36:16me so that we could sit comfortable in
36:18the church building.
36:20He ignited all of us
36:23because someone outside these walls
36:27need us.
36:32I'm emotional this morning because
36:37a moment ago we were praying
36:40and there's a young woman
36:43who came down for prayer
36:47who confessed to one of our ministers in
36:49the midst of our rejoicing.
36:52I want to kill myself.
36:56People are hurting
36:59and we get caught up with our outfits.
37:02We get caught up with our cars in the
37:04parking lot.
37:06We get caught up with our titles.
37:09We get caught up with whatever has
37:12gotten to our heads, our
37:14accomplishments.
37:18Some of you are getting a little bit
37:19arrogant with God
37:23cuz you got your degree.
37:25You got a few little bit of money,
37:27emergency funds in the bank.
37:30You drive a nice car. Yes, you got your
37:32own house.
37:35And you forgot before you had it. Before
37:39you had all those things, somebody
37:41prayed for you.
37:49Somebody showed you the light.
37:53And now you don't have time.
37:57Now you're all about yourself.
38:02This week, let's walk differently.
38:05>> Let's love differently, serve
38:06differently, talk differently,
38:09walk uh work differently, give
38:11differently, treat people differently.
38:15And when God gives you an opportunity,
38:17tell somebody about Jesus.
38:23When I heard that that young lady
38:27decided she wanted to end her life,
38:33I had to keep myself together just to
38:35preach
38:37because
38:42some people
38:46are carriers of the light
38:49and they don't know it's there.
38:52So what Satan wants to do, he says, "I
38:55am determined
38:57not to have that light shine,
39:01not to let it shine." Why do you think
39:03you're going through what you're going
39:05through?
39:08If you're not important, if if you're
39:10not significant to God, why is the devil
39:15giving you so much problems?
39:18why you've been attacked the way you are
39:21right now. Could it be
39:24that he wants to wipe you out before you
39:28identify that greater is he who is in
39:31you
39:34than he that is in the world.
39:38The world is waiting
39:41because somebody's sitting in your row,
39:43somebody in your house, somebody on the
39:45job
39:47may be hurting right now and want to end
39:50their life. Or somebody may in the
39:53moment of saying, "I quit.
39:57>> There's no God."
39:59And while you are playing church,
40:02>> people are losing it.
40:05>> You're the light.
40:08God didn't save you so you can come and
40:10ask him for miracles every Sunday.
40:15>> If you be the light, he'll take care of
40:17you.
40:20>> That's it.
40:23I want you to bow your heads. I want you
40:25to bow your heads. Please, if you can
40:26just hang in there, please. Nobody
40:28moving unless you're a worker have to be
40:30in your place. But I want you to bow
40:32your heads. Please don't look around if
40:33you don't have to. And if you can't,
40:36don't.
40:38But I want to pray for a group of
40:40special people here today.
40:45This month, the month of October.
40:51You want to run with this light.
40:56You you feel
41:00that you have a compassion for people
41:03and it breaks your heart
41:06that people
41:08are not actually seeing the amazing
41:11opportunity that God has presented to
41:14them even in this hour, even in this
41:16country around the world.
41:20and you feel that you want to be
41:23an intercessor praying for people
41:27who
41:29like this young lady today,
41:32she,
41:35you know, they're praying for her. I
41:37think they're taking care of her and I'm
41:40praying that she'll be okay. But like
41:42this young lady,
41:44you believe that God is sending you to
41:46people
41:47to give them hope. This is not a prayer
41:50now for you. This is not a prayer for
41:52you to get your miracle. This is not a
41:54prayer for you to get a car, for you to
41:56get a job. This is not your prayer for
41:58you to get delivered.
42:01I feel in my heart
42:04that there are some tabas who have died.
42:09>> You were doing good and you got
42:11frustrated and people have rubbed you
42:13the wrong way. people have mistreated
42:15you and you've buried the light.
42:20But just like Peter,
42:22he went prayed and Tabatha became alive
42:27once again. I believe in my heart that
42:30God is saying to you, there's a light in
42:32you. Listen to me. There's a light in
42:34you.
42:36Some of you have allowed society and God
42:39knows you've been through a lot, man. I
42:41get it.
42:43It is what you've been through that has
42:44made you this cold.
42:49Life has handed you some situations you
42:53you don't even know how to love again.
42:57You don't even know how to forgive.
42:59You don't even think God is pos it's
43:03possible for God to heal or to
43:05strengthen and to work things out for
43:07you because you've lost it. You've been
43:10so damaged.
43:14But that's a lie.
43:17There's so much left on the inside of
43:19you
43:22that the world wants to see it. I
43:25believe there are couples in here. Some
43:26of you are dating right now. You're
43:28sitting next to your spouse and you know
43:29God's talking to you today. You know
43:32both of you have not been the best
43:34version of yourself because you know
43:36what? The light that you're supposed to
43:38be shining is not shining.
43:41And I'm telling you, if you really want
43:43to seize the moment in the next quarter
43:46of this year,
43:49come on now. You got to let that light
43:51come out of you. You got to let that
43:54light shine out of you right now.
43:58And so

44:03without you trying to rush out of here.
44:06If you believe that this was the word
44:09that is now pushing you to bring the
44:13best out of you and you want pastor to
