Summary

Bishop Henry Fernandez calls the church to move beyond lukewarm religion into a necessary revival fueled by a renewed hunger for God's presence. He emphasizes that we are revived not just for personal comfort, but to become a lighthouse of hope for a hurting world.

Key points
  • Revival is not optional but necessary because many believers have become distracted, exhausted, and disconnected from their purpose.
  • The enemy's primary strategy is distraction; if he can keep you from being the best version of yourself, he can neutralize your ability to impact others.
  • True revival begins within the church (2 Chronicles 7:14) through personal humility, repentance, and a renewed hunger for prayer, worship, and the Word.
  • Two major obstacles to revival are the shame of past mistakes and the fear of people's opinions; believers must prioritize God's approval over human validation.
  • The ultimate goal of revival is not just personal feeling, but 'Kingdom Influence' - being a lighthouse to a world searching for hope.

This week, intentionally turn off negative media or social media scrolling and replace that time with private worship and the Bible app. Focus on being the 'best version of yourself' at work and home so you can reflect Christ's light to those around you.

Reflection questions
  1. What specific distractions have been keeping you from pursuing God with your whole heart lately?
  2. Are you more concerned with how people perceive your 'Sunday best' or how God sees your internal spiritual health?
  3. In what areas of your life have you allowed past mistakes to silence your current witness?
  4. How can you shift from being a church 'attendee' to a 'Kingdom citizen' this week?

0:10of revived and I
0:16couldn't think of a more perfect theme especially as
0:22we enter into the second half of 2026 than
0:27the theme revived and so today I want to
0:33talk to you about revived for impact revived for
0:38impact because you can be revived but what is
0:44the purpose for the revival that's going on in
0:49your life And I think what God is saying to all
0:55of us, he wants to revive us so that we'll have impact on the
1:01world. Do me a favor, would you raise both hands just as a sign
1:07of surrender to God? And let's just hear what he has to say to
1:13us. Father, we come to you this morning as one body, asking you to
1:19give us the ability, the ability to hear what your servant will speak to
1:25us about. when it comes to being revived. Touch every heart,
1:31I pray, whether they're physically in the building or they're streaming. Let
1:36this word go forth with clarity, give us wisdom, but most importantly,
1:42I pray that we would all surrender to your perfect will and
1:48we'll forever give you the praise, the honor, and the glory. In
1:53Jesus' name, amen. Come on, let's put our hands and thank God
1:59one more time. And you may be seated. You
2:05may be seated. Amen. So let me begin by
2:10stating that many of us already know this. That
2:16we're living in a time when revival is not
2:22optional. It is necessary. Revival is not optional. It
2:27is necessary. Our families need revival. Our communities need
2:33revival. Our nation is in need of revival. revival
2:39and yes the church also needs revival not
2:45because God has changed not because his power
2:51has diminished not because his promises have expired
2:57but here's the reason why we need revival we
3:02need revival because many believers have become watch this
3:08distracted exhausted discouraged and disconnected from the purpose for
3:13which god saved them we've missed the mark somehow
3:19we've become lukewarm and so the enemy's greatest strategy
3:24is not always destruction sometimes his strategy is distraction there's
3:30a difference because if he can distract you he will
3:36ultimately destroy you let me say that again if the
3:41enemy can distract you he can ultimately destroy you if
3:47he cannot stop you from being a follower of Jesus
3:53Christ He will try to stop you from being an effective believer.
3:58You know, you go to church, you're committed to that. You call yourself
4:04a Christian. The enemy will leave you doing that. But he doesn't want
4:10you to be an effective believer. He doesn't mind you going to church
4:15for the next 20 years, the next 35 years, as long as nothing
4:21has changed about you. As long as you're the same. And so
4:27I want you to know if he cannot keep you from impacting people on
4:33the earth, he will try to keep you from becoming the best version of
4:39yourself. Because if you are not the best version of yourself, then you can't
4:45impact anybody. You can't make a difference in the community that you live in.
4:51You can't make a difference in your family. You can't make a difference parenting. You
4:56can't make a difference when you're dating. You can't make a difference with your spouse.
5:02If you're not the best version of yourself, that's where the enemy will keep
5:08you lukewarm, will keep you in a drought, will keep you away from becoming
5:14the best version of who God called you to be. So I want you
5:20to know that revival begins with us, the church. Revival begins
5:25with us, the church. And this kind of revival I'm talking about is not a
5:31revival like I said on Wednesday. It's not a revival where people are just clapping
5:36their hands and getting excited and you have a preacher who comes in the town
5:41and we have a couple of nights of services and we say 30 people give
5:46their life to Christ and we shout and we praise God. That's not the kind
5:51of revival I'm talking about here. You see, the enemy will
5:57distract us and excite us just as long as we
6:03don't change. So I want you to understand that notice
6:08when God spoke in 2 Chronicles 7, verse 14. Watch
6:14this. He did not say, if the world humbles itself.
6:20He says, if my people, he's talking about the church,
6:25my people, the church, will humble themselves if my people,
6:31that's what he said, because revival always starts where? In the
6:36house of God. Before we can change the culture of this
6:42world, God must first change us. Before we influence the unchurched,
6:48we must allow the Holy Spirit to influence the church.
6:54We can't go out there and reach people for Christ and share
7:00the love of God if the church is not revived. Before we
7:06become witnesses, we must watch this, become worshipers. Before we become evangelists,
7:12we must become disciples. That's it. We've got to become disciples first.
7:17How can you go out and reach others when you yourself was
7:23not discipled? God wants to decide for you. That's why you
7:29come here every week. It's not just to have a good shouting Sunday. It's not
7:35just to wear your Sunday best. It is to equip you so that you can
7:40be whom God has called you to be. So when you go out to the
7:46on church, they'll see the Christ that the Bible talks about and not what religion
7:52tries to project. So God is calling his people to recalibrate. Yes, to realign,
7:58to remember who we are. We are the church, a peculiar group of people.
8:03Never said we are perfect people. And for those of you who get kind
8:09of bent out of shape and angry in the church when you see dysfunctional
8:15people in the church. When you see all of these people doing crazy
8:21things contrary to the word of God and you now put a blanket on the
8:27church and say the church is not real and the church is not a place
8:32that you should support or go to. Why? Because you see all of us, not
8:38a few of us, all of us displaying a dysfunction. Well, are you reading your
8:44Bible? The first church was developed with 12 disciples. Jesus went around
8:50and watched this. He never selected the 12 disciples from the
8:56temple. Read your Bible. When Jesus decided to put the 12
9:02together, he didn't go to the synagogues and selected people who project themselves to be
9:07perfect. People who've been in ministry for a long time who could brag and say,
9:13I got selected as one of the 12 because I've been in the church for
9:1830 years. I've been in the church for 40 years. I'm a priest. I'm a
9:24rabbi. I'm a this. No, he went into the streets.
9:29To select people who by the way some of them
9:35when he selected them watch this they weren't even converted. They
9:41weren't even converted. He said, come follow me. Come follow me. And by
9:47following me, watch this. By following me, your ways will eventually. If any
9:53man be in Christ, he's a new creature. The old will pass away.
9:59It's a progression gradually. The more you follow Christ is the more your
10:05ways will begin to change. Can somebody give God praise for that?
10:14You see we're not just attending church here. We're not just attendee. We're kingdom
10:19citizens. We are ambassadors for Christ. We are carriers of hope. I told you
10:25that last week. And we are the light of the world according to Matthew's
10:31gospel chapter 5 14. It says you are the light of the world. A
10:36city on a hill cannot be hidden. The church we can
10:42no longer afford to hide our light even with our imperfection, even
10:48with our dysfunction, even with the problems in the world or in
10:54the church I should say. We cannot afford to hide our light
11:00because ladies and gentlemen listen to me if we hide our light
11:06then where is the world gonna go to find hope? They're not
11:12gonna find it in the nightclub. They're not going to find
11:18it in the parties. They're not going to find it with addiction. They're not going
11:23to find it with hopelessness. They're going to find it with a group of people
11:28who were revived. A group of people who recognize that God, I didn't always,
11:34you know, find myself in the perfect place with you. I was not always right
11:40with you, but God, I need a revival. I need you to restore me. I
11:45need you to bring back the fire in me so that I can go after
11:51you as the deer panted after the water broke. So panted my soul after thee.
11:58The world is waiting, waiting for God's people to rise up and
12:03be the light. The world is not waiting for another trend.
12:09The world is not waiting for some celebrity to do some
12:15great magic. The world is waiting for the church to shine
12:21and we can shine for the glory of God. Many people
12:26are physically alive, but they are spiritually asleep. And so this
12:32month talking about Revive, what we're saying to the church,
12:38Let's wake up out of our sleep. Let's be the light. Let's be the salt
12:44of the earth. The world, they want to know about God. And they want to
12:50make sure that we are pursuing God. They know about God. Many of you, you
12:56know about God. But you're no longer pursuing God. You attend church, but you have
13:02stopped seeking Him. You know, you have kind of a sense of religion.
13:07but you have no relationship we go through
13:13all of these watch this activities but we
13:19have no intimacy we have performance but no
13:24passion And so all of us must understand what David
13:30wrote when he prayed the prayer of Psalm 51 verse 10. He said, now
13:36watch this. And it takes a person who really want to be revived to
13:42say this. He said, create in me a clean heart, oh God, and renew
13:48a steadfast spirit within me. David was crying out to God and
13:53he said God I know my heart is not clean and let me tell you
13:58something you you know you're ready for revival when you stand before God and you're
14:02honest and you can say to God I know I ain't doing stuff right God
14:07I know I'm not where I'm supposed to be God I know my thoughts are
14:11not what they're supposed to be God I'm not doing the things that you've called
14:15me to do so create in me a clean heart oh God and renew a
14:20steadfast spirit a stable spirit not a spirit that goes in and out a flip-flop
14:25spirit a stable spirit a consistent spirit not a spirit that says okay when I'm
14:31in trouble I run to church I go to church when I got problems I
14:37fast and I pray but when everything is going fine you don't go to church
14:43you don't read your Bible talk to me here now it's a revival begins
14:48when you become hungry for God again. And Faith
14:54Center, what God told me to tell you is
14:59that you must develop a hungry for Him again.
15:05Hunger for prayer, a hunger for worship, a hunger
15:11for His Word, a hunger for His presence. There's
15:16a difference. Get back to prayer. Get back to
15:22prayer. Talk less and pray more. Get back to
15:27prayer. Get back to worship. Worship starts in
15:33your private space. So when you come into this public space,
15:39you're not uncomfortable. In your living room, in your bathroom, in
15:44your backyard, in your car. Worship set the atmosphere for worship.
15:50Turn off all of those negative things and turn on worship
15:55music. And in your car, when you're going to a toxic
16:01workplace, Even when you're driving back and forth, learn to worship. Learn to
16:07lift your hands and say, God, I may not understand what's happening in my
16:12life, but to God be the glory. Great things he has done. I'm going
16:18to understand this season, but God, I give you the praise. I give you
16:24the glory. I worship you. I honor you. You might be acting
16:29funny, but God, I praise you. My relationship is struggling, but God,
16:35I worship you. I give everything to you. Get back to worship
16:41so that when you come to the house of God, the worship
16:47team doesn't have to beg you to join them. Worship is
16:52organic. Worship is automatic. Why? You are worshiping at home. You are
16:58worshiping on the job. You are worshiping in the car. So when
17:03you come into the sanctuary, you came with the right attitude. Oh,
17:09I will enter into his gates with thanksgiving, in his courts with
17:15praise. Worship becomes easy. Develop a hunger for his word. Get back
17:20to reading his word. My God, you got an iPhone, you
17:26got a whatever phone you've got, you paid a lot of money
17:32for it. You buy all these expensive stuff and then turn around
17:37and ask God to give you the grace to pay the monthly
17:43payment. Yet you won't download the Bible app on the same system
17:48you're asking God to help you pay for. Come on now. God
17:54is not mocked. You can't trick him. whatsoever man sow, he
17:59will reap. Get hungry for his presence. There's something powerful about
18:05a believer who refuses to settle for, you know, this yo-yo
18:11kind of spiritual walk. You know, one minute you're lukewarm, one
18:17minute you're cold, one minute you're hot. So I'm talking about
18:22reaching a place where you become tired of average Christianity.
18:28Tired of excuses, tired of spiritual inconsistency, and tired of knowing what to
18:34do yet refusing to do it. You see revival starts when you stop
18:39blaming everyone else and start allowing God to work on you. Revival is
18:45not pointing the fingers at somebody else and say look at what sister
18:51so-and-so, brother so-and-so is doing. It's turning the finger on your life and
18:57say God fix me God. I need you to renew the
19:02right spirit within me. You see, the battle to stay consistent
19:08and revived is not just about others around you. It's not
19:14just about them around you. But the battle is within you.
19:20The enemy knows that if he can control your thoughts, then
19:25he can influence your decisions. If he can control your thoughts,
19:32then he can control your decisions because so is the
19:38man think so he become that's why Paul wrote in
19:44Romans 12:2 he says be transformed by the renewing of
19:49your mind you see a revived life requires a renewed
19:55mind a revived mind thinks differently When you're revived in
20:01your thoughts and your mind, you start thinking, "Well, I can't continue this way.
20:07I can't live my life this way. I need God to guide me every
20:13step of the way." Many people spend hours strengthening, watch this, their bodies by
20:19investing, but investing very little time strengthening their minds in the Word of God.
20:25Isn't it funny? how we have all these
20:31memberships at the gym because we want
20:36to look externally good. Men want to
20:41have their guns. Women want to look
20:47sexy. Come on now. Come on ladies.
20:52Firming your butt in other places. Women
20:57want... We spent all this money in
21:03gym to look externally good but internally.
21:08There's a huge deficit internally. Because we
21:13don't have the fear of God within us anymore. We
21:19exercise our muscles but neglect our spirit. We spend hours,
21:25hours scrolling through social media but only minutes reading scripture
21:31if we read it at all. We know what's trending
21:36online but we have no idea what God is saying
21:42in his word. We know everything that's trending. You know
21:48about the World Cup. Thank God for the World Cup. You know
21:54what teams are playing against what team. You know Taylor Swift. They just got
21:59married in Madison Square Garden on Saturday, I think it was. You know all
22:05of these things because you're keeping up with it. Some of you know very
22:11well if you are late for work and even if you are going to
22:16be fired and you leave your phone, you leave that phone at home
22:22They're going to have to fire you because you're going back home.
22:28You know I'm telling the truth. If the church could become so
22:34revived that when you wake up in the morning and you realize
22:39that you have not read your word, that you get so hungry
22:45and say, God, I don't care what else I have to do.
22:51I've got to get into my word. That's revival. That's the revival
22:57I'm talking about. you see revival happens
23:02when the word of god becomes more influential in our lives than
23:08the opinions of what's trending and popular and what's popular with what
23:14people are doing there are two there are two things that consistently
23:19prevent people from being revived number one this is going to be
23:25very important i want you to listen to this it's the shame
23:31of past mistakes the shame of past mistakes The enemy
23:37constantly reminds people of who they used to be. Yes,
23:42constantly of who you used to be. He wants to
23:48trap you into guilt. He wants to trap you into
23:54regret. Trap you into yesterday. When it comes to God,
23:59God specializes in restoration. he wants to restore you i want to
24:05say this to every one of you in here it doesn't matter what you've done
24:10yesterday five years ago 20 years ago when you go before god and say god
24:15here's my heart i am honest i am sincere who i am today i owe
24:20it all to you so god i know my weak spots i know my weaknesses
24:25so god i need you in my life I am developing a hunger for you.
24:31I want to serve you. When you come to God with that kind of
24:37an attitude, he'll restore you. And don't let your past dictate your future. You
24:43don't do that. Isaiah 43, 18 and 19 says, and I love this. It
24:48says, forget the former things. Forget the former things. You got to learn to
24:54forget the former things. Do not dwell on the past.
25:00God's doing a new thing in your life. Don't dwell on the past.
25:05I don't care how difficult it has been because your mistakes are real,
25:11but God's mercy is greater. Your failures may be a part of your
25:17story, but they do not have to determine your future. God is not
25:23looking for perfect people. God is looking for willing people. He's not looking
25:28for perfect people. So at this church, I've said it over
25:34and over. We're not looking for perfect people. We're looking for people who
25:40want to develop a hunger for God. You come just as you are.
25:45You come torn, broken, hurt, confused, frustrated. You come. Our job as God's
25:51people is to love you unconditionally, is to be patient with you and
25:57to know that God can change a life. Why? Because he changed ours.
26:03Number two, it is the opinions of people. So many people can't be
26:09revived because you have allowed the opinions of people to change who you
26:15are. Many believers are allowing the opinions of people, watch this, to silence
26:20God's purpose in their lives. You are worried about the approval of people.
26:26You're worried about who disagrees with you, who criticizes you, who misunderstands you.
26:33You're worried. And so as God's people, we walk around here and we're
26:38worried about people who want to be accepted into certain groups. We want
26:44everybody to agree with us. You know one of the things I learned,
26:49even as a leader, that the day you constantly seek approval of people,
26:55that's the day you're going to be disappointed. I always say, watch this,
27:01do what is right, and God will honor you for that. Even if
27:06others don't like it. Even your children you will do what
27:12is right and they won't be able to see it. Why? Because mentally they're not
27:18able to understand why you had to make certain decisions. And when you're solid and
27:24rooted in God you're gonna make decisions that people don't like. As a believer your
27:29family members won't like certain decisions you make, your friends, your co-workers. Even people in
27:35the church won't like certain decisions that you make. Jesus never allowed public opinion to
27:41determine his assignment. And neither should you. If you're coming to this church for people
27:47to approve of you, you're going to be disappointed. If you're serving in the body
27:52of Christ for people to pat you on the shoulder, you're going to be disappointed.
27:57You need to come into the house of God and whether they like you or
28:03not, whether they don't like, I don't like how she dressed, I don't like how
28:08he looked, that's their business. Dress anyway. Smile anyway. Be happy anyway. Don't let people
28:14control who you are. Oh, that's a good place to shout, man. Galatians 1.10 says,
28:19and I now trying to win. Am I now trying to win the approval of
28:25human beings or of God? So you have to ask yourself the question. When you
28:31come to the house of God, come on now, we all come here week after
28:36week, those of you streaming. Okay, are you coming here for the pastor to approve
28:42of you? Are you coming here for somebody in your road to approve
28:48of you? Are you serving God for the approval of human beings or is
28:54it of God? When you make certain tough decisions when people don't understand, whose
28:59approval are you looking for? Is it for human beings? When you have to
29:05make some tough decisions, some of you God told you to do certain things
29:11and a lot of people didn't approve of it, didn't like it.
29:16and you feel isolated and alone yet you did it why because
29:22god said you ought to do it and i'd rather follow god
29:27than a whole crowd come on now you cannot fully follow god
29:33while being controlled by people you can't you cannot fully follow god
29:38and then be controlled by people at the same time at some
29:44point in time you must choose whose voice matters the most in
29:50your life God is not reviving us so that we can become comfortable. He's not
29:56reviving us so that we can be, he's reviving us, I should say, so that
30:01we can become impactful. You see, the purpose of revival is not merely watch this
30:06personal transformation. It's not so that we can all brag. Look, I'm strong in the
30:11Lord. I've been revived. Look at me. I'm anointed. I'm gifted. God's using me for
30:17personal transformation. The purpose of our revival is kingdom influence.
30:23So that the kingdom of God can have influence in the darkness of the world.
30:29So when the church is revived, I'm almost there. When the church is revived, watch
30:34this, the lost will find hope. Can you imagine if we get revived?
30:41If we ever bond together and walk in unity, that lost people,
30:47people who are without hope will find hope in Jesus Christ. Families
30:53will be healed. Broken people will find their purpose. Communities will experience
30:58transformation. Matthew 28 verse 19, it says, you know it, I read
31:04it recently, go and make disciples of all nations. Notice Jesus did
31:10not say... Wait until they come to you never said wait
31:16until people come to you then you make disciples of them
31:21He said go revival is not complete until it reaches someone
31:27else a revived believer becomes a witness a revived church becomes
31:33a lighthouse a revived congregation becomes a force for Kingdom expansion
31:39When as a church, when as believers I should say, when we are revived, we
31:45become a witness. It did my heart good when I was in the lobby this
31:50morning and two occasions people were introduced to me and they were invited. They were
31:55here for the very first time today but they were invited by a co-worker who's
32:00a member of this church. Another person was invited by someone else. See when you're
32:05revived, you don't keep this to yourself. I don't know where we get
32:11this from that Sunday morning is a dressed up thing where
32:17we just come just to have church. This is bigger than
32:23that. And I don't, you know, I understand stuff like this
32:29is not common anymore in our world. And I'm talking about a church where
32:34you are taught the word and you're challenged to become a beacon of light.
32:40We've become such a group of people now where we are more gravitated to
32:46entertainment. Entertainment and what's trending and the fashions of the world that church has
32:51become now a show and not ministry. But
32:57I'm just asking the faith center, whether you're physically here or you're streaming,
33:03can we just come together and ask God to revive us so that
33:09we can become a lighthouse so that we can have kingdom expansion? So
33:14I've come with good news as I close today. It is not too
33:20late for us to be revived. Don't get caught up in numbers. God
33:26had to teach me that. Don't get caught up in numbers.
33:32You never measure the growth of a church because it's
33:38pot. You never measure the growth and strength of a
33:43church because it's pot. Gideon. Hey, come here, Gideon. There's
33:49a bunch of people called the Midianites. I'm talking Bible
33:55now. For those of you who haven't been in your
34:01Bible, say, like, Gideon. Who's Gideon? Who's Gideon? You're Googling.
34:07Let me see if Gideon has a Facebook page or
34:13an Instagram page. Gideon in the Bible.
34:19There were God's people but there was a group of people
34:25called the Midianites who constantly would harass God's people, oppress them.
34:31So they plant their vineyard, their crop. These people will wait
34:37for harvest time and come in and snatch their harvest. Every
34:42time God would revive them, they get to a place where
34:48the Midianites will come in and rob them. God said, "Hey,
34:54I want you to go take care of this. I want
35:00you to go represent me." If I had
35:06time, I would talk to you about, listen to me. I
35:12don't care what's coming against you. I don't care the forces
35:17that are trying to destroy you. If you read your Bible,
35:23God has a set time to shut your enemies down. He
35:29said, Gideon, you're going to fight. Gideon got 32,000 men. We're
35:35going to fight because he was all caught up with numbers.
35:41Come on, let's go fight. And God says, no, no, no,
35:47no, no. You got too many.
35:52Those of you who run companies
35:58and are supervisors will know this.
36:04Sometimes hiring more people doesn't translate
36:09to greater production. Sometimes you can
36:15have a bunch of employees and
36:20nothing gets done. But you get
36:26rid all of them and put
36:32qualified, capable, competent people. You can shrink
36:38your workforce down to a small group of people and
36:44get much more done. Long story short, God got them
36:49down to 300. Don't you get caught up in numbers?
36:55Just because you have the numbers doesn't mean you're effective.
37:01When Jesus got resurrected and he gave instructions for them
37:07to go into the upper room, right? The upper room
37:13to wait for the of the Holy Spirit. There
37:19were found people around but Jesus only asked for
37:25one hundred and one hundred and twenty people who
37:30went into the upper room and the birthing of
37:36the church took place that you and I today
37:41benefiting from that one hundred and twenty people. I
37:47don't know who God's talking to. You better get
37:52your eyes off the crowd. Get your eyes
37:58off the crowd. Get your eyes off the applause of men. Get your
38:04eyes wanting people to scratch your back and tell you good job. I
38:10am 62. I've lived long enough to know some of the same people
38:16who say good job are the same people stabbing you in your back.
38:22You better get away from people's applause. The only applause you
38:28should be looking for is the one who would look down and
38:33say you are my beloved son You are my beloved daughter in
38:39whom I'm well pleased Somebody ought to give God praise here So
38:45you're not too old to be revived You're not too broken to
38:51be revived You're not you have not gone too far to be
38:57revived and you're not beyond God's reach to be revived He's the
39:03same God who restored Peter after he
39:08failed. Peter who had a temper, he restored
39:14him and he used him. It's the same
39:20God who restored David after he sinned, plotted
39:26to have the man killed. God restored him
39:32after he struggled with pornography. God restored him.
39:37Same God who restored Jonah after he rebelled
39:43against him. I am not going where you
39:49send me. Because God is in
39:55the restoration business so I want you to be
40:01clear today. Get back to having the fire and
40:06zeal of God in your life. Get hungry for
40:12God. Get hungry for God. Get back your prayer
40:18life. You cannot continue the path that you're on.
40:24Where only when you're in trouble you pray.
40:30You don't even know how to pray. You always have to ask people to
40:36pray for you. You want to know when you are revived? It's when your
40:42back is against the wall and you on your knees yourself and talk to
40:47your God. God is not my pastor this time. It's not the intercessor. It's
40:53not my cousin. But God, it is me standing in the need of prayer.
40:59Get back your prayer life. Get back your passion for God. Don't
41:04let anybody have to push you to serve God. Get back your passion
41:10to go to church. Stop making these excuses. Stop allowing the world to
41:16dictate to you whether or not you should go to church. Who are
41:22you going to church for? The preacher? Who are you going to church
41:28for? To show off your outfit or for God to come on the
41:33inside of you and clean you up and pour his anointing in your
41:39life. So stop postponing your spiritual growth. Stop treating
41:45God's presence as optional and stop
41:50allowing distractions to rob you of
41:56your destiny Run after God with
42:01everything that you have run because
42:06you're running out of time. You're
42:11running out of time We cannot
42:17allow the light of God to
42:22grow dim in us this generation
42:27needs a revived church our city
42:33needs a revived church and South
42:38Florida and the world needs a revived church.
42:44So let's put our division aside. Let's put
42:50our issues aside. Let's stop the things that
42:55have been dividing the church for years. Let's
43:01stop allowing politicians to point us to who
43:06God is. Let's get back to serving God.
43:12Because revival is not an event. It's a
43:17decision. It's a decision, watch this, to surrender
43:23to God. to pursue God and to become
43:28everything that God has created you to be. That's what
43:34a revival is. And I am just asking every man
43:40and every woman in this building, every person streaming to
43:45join me as we lay aside every sin and weight
43:51that so easily set us back. And let's be revived.
43:56And let's ask God to let us be a church
44:02without spots or wrinkle. Not a church
44:08that is lukewarm. Not a church that gets caught
44:13up in status. Not a church that gets caught
44:19up in branding. Not a church that gets caught
44:25up in the external look of things. But a
44:30church that genuinely wants more of God. More of
44:36God. A church that is willing to say, God,
44:41if you can use anything. If you can use
44:47anybody. Use me because I don't
44:53know who this is for because you have Backslidden and
44:59you wonder why you can't see your way out is
45:04because you've been blinded by the path that you're on
45:10But if you run to God fool if you come
45:15on back home if you get revived I promise you
45:21every dead areas of your life he'll resurrect it when
45:26he was calling Ezekiel and Ezekiel looked and he
45:32said those are dry bones and I'm telling the church
45:38today, maybe dry and we're back slid from the will
45:44of God. God still can use dry bones. I don't
45:49care how empty you feel. You let him pick up
45:55those dry bones and today I'm telling you he'll speak
46:01life into your situation. So that you can
46:07become the man that will become the best version of yourself.
46:13Oh, brother, please hear me this morning. You're running out of
46:19time. Men, please hear me today. You have not gone too
46:25far where you cannot be revived. Men, the world is waiting
46:31for men to stand and step in like Peter.
46:37I might have been like David, but I
46:42am a man after God's own heart. Let's
46:48get revived men. Let's get revived. Our daughters
46:53are waiting for it. Society is waiting for
46:59it. Spouses are waiting for it. Our children
47:04are waiting for it. Let's get revived. Women,
47:10let's get revived. Because I'm going to tell
47:15you something. I asked God for 100 years.
47:22I believe he's gonna give it to me. But
47:28here's the reason why I said that. I have
47:33more years behind me than what's in front of
47:39me. Even if he gives me a hundred, I
47:45only have thirty more, thirty eight more years left.
47:51I want to make it count. Forgetting those things
47:56which are behind. I'm reaching thirty eight more years.
48:02I'm reaching for everything. I press towards the mark.
48:09of the higher calling oh God's
48:15calling somebody God's calling somebody it's
48:20time to go higher hit your
48:26neighbor till and it's time to
48:31go higher it's time to go
48:36higher it's time to go higher
48:42stand on your feet with me
48:47everybody stand on your feet it's
48:53time for revival mmm a shoddy

51:38I want to be a part of God's army. Come on.
51:44I want to be a part of God's army. I want
51:50to be like David, renew in me a right spirit. I
51:56don't want to play church anymore, God. I want to know
52:02you that I may know him. I want to know you I

53:06to spectate. Those of you in the audience, come on, stretch your hands and begin

59:08the extra time. But for those of you who
59:13are standing in front of the stage, let me
59:19tell you something. I believe in my heart. Listen,
59:24I don't know about you, I sense, and those
59:30of you who are standing out there, I sense
59:35in my spirit that today is a brand new
59:41season for you. I'm telling you it's a brand
59:47new season for you God has given you a new opportunity
59:53to be revived forget those things which are behind you do
59:59not let the enemy let you leave here today start thinking
60:05of the past it is behind you get in your word
60:11get around people who will feed you the word and encourage you
60:16get yourself away from toxicity you stay in that word you pray to God
60:22to the best of your ability he's not asking you to pray with fancy
60:28words just be yourself but you've got to make a commitment to keep this
60:34revival going so you read your word you pray go to church come to
60:39church the devil doesn't want you to come to church He'll give you
60:45all kinds of excuses why you shouldn't go. Do you know how many people
60:51should have been here this morning? Get hands laid on. But because again, they
60:57just procrastinated and they just kind of, well, I didn't see the importance. You
61:03listen, you need the body of Christ. You get back into speaking faith. And
61:08all of us in this room, if we keep this up, listen to me.
61:14If we keep this up by December 1st, You're going to be shocked
61:20at the transformation in your life. So you have to be consistent. You can't be
61:25hype up now and next week you go back to square one. Fight your way
61:31through. You fight your way through. Look for help. Ministers, we're here to help you.
61:37You see us in the lobby on Sunday mornings. It's not just for a show.
61:42It's to encourage you. When you walk through the doors, we know you're coming with
61:48a lot of stuff. You go through a lot
61:54of stuff every week. But when you come through that
62:00lobby, we're here. We are here. We're standing in the
62:06battlefield. And just one encouragement, one shake hand will help
62:12lift that burden. So I declare to you today that
62:18you are revived. Don't lose your fire. Don't you lose
62:24your fire. You go home, get in your car.
62:30Go on the job this week and know that you have been revived. I can't
62:35wait to see you on Wednesday and I can't wait to see you on Sunday.
62:41Let's all lift our hands as we conclude the service. Those of you streaming, thank
62:47you so much. And if God put it in your heart before the end of
62:52this week, you didn't participate in the giving, please consider helping your church in the
62:58month of July. We've got to get through this. God's going to give you a
63:04special seed this week. He's going to put in your life some unexpected resources. When
63:09you get it, you make a pledge and you say, God, I'm going to give
63:14that seed that Bishop asked about. Some of you before, by the time you get
63:19home, God's going to prompt you. You can still go on our platforms
63:25and you can still give. Let's say it out loud together.
63:30Faith in God will move mountains out of our lives. God
63:36bless you. That's our benediction. You are revived. We'll see you
63:41Wednesday or Sunday. Thank you so much for coming. Thank you
63:47so much for streaming today. God bless you. God bless you.
