0:01campus raising their hands towards you
0:04because we know where our help comes
0:05from
0:07it is from you we look to the hills from
0:10when's cometh our help this morning I
0:13ask that we'll receive your word
0:15we know it's potent we know it has the
0:18ability to transform us
0:20anoint your servant once again and think
0:23with my mind and speak with my vocal
0:25cords
0:26so that in the end we will give you the
0:29glory in Jesus name and somebody shout
0:33amen all right let's give them a praise
0:35one more time
0:38and you may be seated
0:40in the presence of the Lord
0:45want to
0:46talk to you today
0:49about something that most of us are
0:51experiencing and it's a little bit
0:54uncomfortable for us we don't fully
0:56understand what the heck is going on
0:58with us
1:00and it is a change you're going through
1:03a change
1:05therefore I want to talk to you about
1:06change is a process
1:10change is
1:14a process
1:16look at your neighbor and say you're
1:17going through a process
1:21they don't believe you so look at
1:22somebody else and just tell them you're
1:25going through a process
1:28you are you're going through a process
1:31why because you're changing
1:34so as a people who believe in God and
1:37the power of His word
1:40we must see that the purpose of his word
1:42is to change us from living and
1:46unrighteous life
1:48to live in a righteous life
1:51that's the purpose of his word
1:54his word comes to transform us it's
1:58impossible to read the Bible
2:00and to believe it and not be transformed
2:05so again the purpose for the word of God
2:09is to change us from a life of
2:12unrighteousness to a life of
2:15righteousness and to accomplish this it
2:19takes time
2:22it does
2:24so please for those of you religious
2:27people who are so quick to throw every
2:30believer under the bus
2:33when they don't quite get it right
2:37let me just remind you
2:39that change is a process
2:44it's a process
2:48not only is it a process
2:50to be a true reflection of what God
2:53wants us to be it requires three things
2:56and please pay attention
2:59because these three things are important
3:01number one it requires a total surrender
3:05to the teachings of the Bible
3:09to really be a true reflection of who
3:12God is
3:13to become the image of who God wants us
3:16to be it's going to require total
3:19surrender to the teachings of the Bible
3:21number two it requires a committed life
3:25of unwavering faith
3:29a faith that says I'm not going to quit
3:34I'm not going to give up
3:37unwavering faith I don't care what you
3:39go through for you to be a true
3:41reflection of who God wants you to be
3:44you're going to have to have Relentless
3:47faith
3:50you're going to have to tell yourself I
3:52don't care I don't care if you mess up I
3:54don't care if people are pushing you to
3:56the Limit you've got to make a decision
3:59that you're going to have faith in God
4:01no matter what even when you can't trace
4:04him you're going to believe in him
4:08number three it requires an ability to
4:12discern what your next move will be
4:15especially when when the issues of Life
4:20are greater than your human abilities
4:22and intellect
4:26that you're going to have to understand
4:29that you are going to have an ability to
4:33discern what your next move is and and I
4:35submit to you this is where a lot of us
4:37fail we do not carry the spirit of
4:40discernment
4:44we're going through our issues and we
4:46don't have the ability to discern what
4:48our next move should be
4:50how should we handle a crisis
4:52how should we handle the confusion how
4:55should we handle the criticism how
4:57should we handle the attack how should
5:00we handle when things shift in our lives
5:02maybe we lost the job maybe the economy
5:06is affecting us maybe the business is
5:08not doing so well maybe your love life
5:11wins South maybe your children are
5:13acting up maybe it's a medical crisis we
5:17fail to discern what our next move
5:21should be and therefore the actions that
5:26come out of us are not the best
5:30would trip when we should be strong
5:34we say the wrong things when a soft
5:37answer turned into wrath
5:39sometimes you just got to just shut up
5:43and let the Lord fight your battles

5:50you see change is one of our biggest
5:52struggles
5:54we have to admit that
5:56perhaps it's because when we talk about
5:59change we see it as something that is
6:03inconsistent right
6:05when people change and when you are
6:08changing you see it as something
6:10inconsistent because
6:12we all want people to remain the same to
6:17suit our own you know uh Cravings if you
6:20will we don't like to change because we
6:23love our comfort zone
6:25we struggle and fight with people who
6:27changed towards us
6:29and we criticize them for changing
6:32because they no longer perform as we
6:35expect them to
6:39so we think that people are inconsistent
6:42so listen my friends my encouragement to
6:45you today is to stop fighting the change
6:49that's taken place in your life
6:52up resisting life or the processes if
6:55you will that life takes you through to
6:58make you better and most importantly to
7:01position you to achieve God's best or
7:05his perfect will for your life
7:07stop resisting the change
7:10when things shift in your life when
7:13things are changing when people start
7:15changing around you I don't care who
7:16they be they could be family they could
7:18be friends it could be the person you're
7:20married to it could be the person you
7:22have dated and and dating at this time
7:24it could be your children it could be
7:26co-workers it could be church members it
7:28could be your best friends I don't care
7:30who it is when things are changing you
7:33got to learn to discern what your next
7:35move should be
7:42the truth is your life will be much more
7:45meaningful and enjoyable when you stop
7:48beating yourself up mentally and
7:52emotionally
7:54when you stop beating yourself mentally
7:56why are people doing this to me why is
7:59my life the way it is why why am I
8:02struggling the way I'm struggling why
8:04are people criticizing me
8:06when you when you stop mentally
8:09stressing yourself over the shift in
8:11things in your life your life will be
8:14more meaningful
8:16when you get your emotions out of the
8:19way
8:20sometimes listen I know you don't want
8:23to receive this this morning those of
8:24you are screaming I know you don't want
8:25to receive it sometimes it's good that
8:29you were left
8:32Delayed Reaction
8:34rewind
8:37sometimes it's good that you were left
8:41in other words it's good that some
8:43people left you because had they not
8:46left you
8:47come on now you wouldn't know that you
8:50have the strength by yourself within you
8:52to trust God that with you and God alone
8:56that's all you need oh somebody ought to
8:59put a praise on that right there
9:03when you find yourself changing the way
9:06you think
9:09or the way you respond to family and
9:12friends
9:13and you're in a circle
9:15that means you are mature in
9:18into a more grounded person in the faith
9:23and you find yourself
9:26not responding the way the old man used
9:29to respond
9:31you know you're growing
9:33and I'm just talking to a few people
9:35here today only a few people were
9:37streaming today see the rest of you
9:39you're still tripping
9:41look at your neighbor and say stop
9:43tripping man
9:45you know you're maturing when you see
9:48stuff that you used to just
9:53ah only 10 people know what I'm talking
9:56about man you know you're maturing when
9:59you see things and just said
10:01uh
10:04I'm not gonna say nothing
10:06I'm not going to say nothing to that
10:09look at what second Corinthians 5 17
10:13says and I love this
10:16Paul tells us
10:17he says therefore if any person
10:20engrafted in Christ the Messiah
10:24he is a new creation a new creature all
10:30together
10:31the old previous moral and spiritual
10:34condition has passed away behold the
10:38afresh or the fresh and new has come
10:43Apollo is saying if you're in Christ
10:45Jesus
10:47and grafted in him he's saying a fresh
10:51new start
10:53is your way of life
10:55it's a new beginning for you
10:58you don't react the way you used to
11:00react you don't respond the way the old
11:03man would want you to respond so ladies
11:06and gentlemen I am convinced that very
11:09few people understand that life takes
11:12them through many processes that are
11:15designed to bring out the best in them
11:19even if the process is uncomfortable at
11:23times
11:25right now you see the challenges of your
11:28life as something to stress you out and
11:31to beat upon you and to destroy you but
11:33you've got to see it as God using it to
11:37better you and to bring the best out of
11:39you to let you become your best self
11:44you see if you can understand that life
11:46experiences are designed to bring the
11:48best in you
11:51then it will radically change your life
11:53in a positive way
11:55and I believe that's what all of us want
11:57we want to be positive we want we want
12:00to make sure that our life is a
12:03reflection of God's perfect will for us
12:05we want to make sure through all
12:08throughout all the Clutter that we go
12:10through in life that we become our best
12:13self
12:15so I want you to understand ladies and
12:18gentlemen that your job is to go through
12:21this metamorphosis if you will this this
12:24transition to constantly go through
12:28changes in life it's okay if you're not
12:31changing you're not growing
12:35don't resist change
12:37and stop saying it's demonic it's the
12:41devil the devil sometimes have nothing
12:43to do with the transition you're going
12:46through it's all God at work in your
12:49life
12:53so listen to what James chapter 1 verse
12:572 to verse 4 tells us
13:00and I love this we've read this over and
13:02over and I don't know if it makes sense
13:05to you but James says he says count it
13:08all joy yeah
13:12now if you start reading that and you're
13:14talking about you're going through a
13:15crisis and a trial in your life and and
13:18God's telling me counter Joy what am I
13:21supposed to count joy out of my
13:23struggles he says here count it Joy my
13:25brothers when you meet Trials of various
13:28kinds verse 3 for you know that the
13:32testings of the testing I should say of
13:35your faith produces what steadfastness
13:38and let steadfastness have its full
13:42effect that you may be perfect and
13:46complete lacking nothing
13:50so in order to get everything that you
13:53desire you're going to have to go
13:55through a series of tests in your life
13:58James says we should count it all joy in
14:02other words whatever the challenges are
14:05we should not complain neither should we
14:08see them as Weapons meant to defeat or
14:11destroy us
14:13pounded Joy
14:16just count it all joy man
14:18I don't know what you're going through
14:20today I don't know what your experiences
14:22are like I don't know how uncomfortable
14:25you are in life but count it all joy
14:30it's okay I get it count it all joy that
14:34maybe you had a rough week a rough month
14:36a rough year count it all joy what's the
14:39lesson in all of it what is God trying
14:41to do in my life what is he trying to
14:43teach me what are the experiences I
14:45should learn from my uh experiences in
14:48life counted all joy he says here
14:54it's in other words whenever you're
14:56going through the challenges of life
14:57don't look at it as okay God you know
15:01God's punishing me I'm defeated
15:04you know maybe something is wrong in my
15:06life the devil is just you know after me
15:08and so forth no maybe God is doing a
15:11work in you
15:13he says whenever you face with Trials of
15:17various kinds see them as God's way of
15:20getting you to change from not being
15:24effective enough if you will into
15:26someone who is complete and lacking
15:29nothing in every area of your life
15:33it is the process of the trials that
15:37change you into becoming who God
15:40ordained you to be
15:42wow man
15:44from Reading those verses what we see
15:47here clearly that the trials we face in
15:50life are designed to test our faith and
15:54to change us
15:56the trials are to test our faith and yes
16:00God will test us
16:03to test us
16:05and not only to test us but to change us
16:09to get us
16:11from being unrighteous to be righteous
16:15it's a process
16:18so Embrace whatever you're going through
16:21right now whenever your faith is tested
16:24and you handled the test correctly at
16:28least three positive things will happen
16:31are you ready for this
16:32three positive things will happen
16:35whenever you make a decision and you
16:38handle every test in your life so
16:40whatever test you're going through right
16:41now if you apply these three principles
16:44I guarantee you based on the word of God
16:46you'll come out successful
16:49number one
16:51you develop endurance to wait for God's
16:55guidance and not give up to a quit in
16:58spirit when you're under pressure
17:01whenever you develop endurance
17:04whenever you say you know what I'm not
17:07going to move until God tells me to move
17:11I'm not going to say nothing until God
17:13gives me something to say
17:15I'm going to shut my mouth I'm gonna
17:17stay in it Whatever It Is God if you saw
17:21it fit for me to go through what I'm
17:23going through well God okay I'm going to
17:26take a licking and keep on ticking I'm
17:28gonna hang in there because surely I
17:31know that my God will deliver me out of
17:34it am I talking to anybody
17:38you gotta learn to develop endurance and
17:41stop being a person who loved to quit
17:46if God puts you in a job stay on that
17:50job I don't care what you're going
17:51through now if he tells you to get out
17:53of that place you better run
17:56but if he planted you there you stay
17:58there I don't care what the boss is
18:00doing to you I don't care what the
18:02co-workers are doing to you I don't care
18:04how your check is small I don't care how
18:06you're struggling there I don't care how
18:08the drive is far you stay where God has
18:11planted you
18:13you stay there have endurance
18:17hang in there stay in the will of God
18:20and stop quitting you cannot be living
18:23five years and quit five jobs
18:27it's not the devil it's you
18:32but the devil is fighting in every job
18:34no you're fighting yourself
18:40thank you I'm going to take my time
18:42sweeter
18:46you don't do that
18:49you can't be in and out of relationships
18:52just because things don't go your way
18:55now some people now now some people need
18:58to be left alone

19:02but if God planted you in something you
19:05stay there
19:07you hang in there don't have a quit in
19:09the spirit number two you become
19:11spiritually mature and not so quick to
19:14respond to everything that seeks your
19:17attention
19:20yeah
19:20listen to me you become spiritually
19:23mature and not so quick to respond to
19:27everything that seeks your attention you
19:30become confident and are not no longer
19:33bothered by the noise criticism and the
19:37change in circumstances
19:41that's a mature Christian
19:43that's a Christian who understand the
19:45changes that you go through
19:47and when you handle that test when
19:50people are criticizing you the noise and
19:53the Clutter and and the change in
19:55circumstances are around you you hang in
19:58there you develop endurance and you say
20:00God I'm going to stick this thing out
20:03and I don't care who's trying to seek my
20:06attention because the devil I'm telling
20:08you he knows how to distract you
20:11but if you hang in there and you say God
20:13no I am no longer bothered by the noise
20:18let people talk
20:22listen to me those of you are screaming
20:24let people talk
20:28they're not paying your rent they're not
20:30paying your bills they don't have a
20:32place to put you in let people talk it's
20:37their mouth but it's your attitude
20:40let me say it again it's their mouth but
20:43it's your attitude you don't have to
20:45respond to everything you hear
20:50who is this word for
20:54number three
20:56you develop strong faith to the degree
20:59that you don't see yourself lacking
21:02anything
21:03when you handle the test of life in a
21:06way that you say you know what I believe
21:08God I believe God is going to turn this
21:10thing around I believe that God's going
21:12to deliver me I believe that God's going
21:14to vindicate me I believe that God's
21:16going to work a way out for me to get
21:18out of this and so forth then you
21:20develop this strong faith man
21:23but you really don't like anything
21:26that you know if you're praying for
21:28resources you know my God shall supply
21:30my ever need and you know what I'm not
21:32going to rush him he knows I need to
21:34take care of certain things
21:36so I'm going to trust him that he's
21:38going to make a way
21:40so I'm not going to go to my bed I can't
21:41sleep at night I'm having nightmare now
21:44I'm going to the doctor now I got high
21:46blood pressure now I'm just mad at
21:48myself I'm mad at the dog I'm I'm
21:50walking around town mad I'm depressed
21:53I'm now I need a counselor everything no
21:55some counsels are good and I encourage
21:58people to go to counseling believe me
22:00I'm an advocate for that I believe some
22:02people need prayer and therapy laughs
22:10not just prayer alone
22:13some people need some serious therapy
22:18but I'm talking about developing such a
22:21faith that you said Lord I trust you
22:25I trust you no matter what I'm going
22:27through I trust you that I don't like
22:29anything those bills are going to be
22:31paid
22:33I am healed by your stripes
22:36glory to God you're going to silence my
22:39enemies God I know God I know you're
22:42going to open a door that no man can
22:44shut when you develop that
22:46self-confidence then nothing will move
22:48you
22:49so let's look at James chapter 1 again
22:52those same verses
22:53let's look at it from the Amplified
22:56Bible perspective it says consider it
23:00complete joyful if you will my brothers
23:02or my brethren
23:04whenever you are
23:06you know involved
23:09or you know
23:12into or you've encountered trials
23:16of any swords or fall into various
23:19Temptations
23:22be assured and understand that the
23:25trials and The Proven of your faith
23:29bring out endurance wait wait a minute
23:33let's don't risk this
23:35be assured and understand that the trial
23:40and proven of your faith
23:44the trial and proven the only way to
23:48prove if you've got faith
23:51some bad's got to happen
23:55if you're required to walk by faith
23:58every believer in the Bible says you
24:00ought to walk by faith and not by your
24:03sight if you're required to live a life
24:06of Faith you better expect God's gonna
24:08throw some problems in your path

24:17he's saying saying here that
24:20to prove your faith to bring out what
24:23endurance look when you go through the
24:25trials that's when you develop the
24:28endurance and the steadfastness and
24:30patience
24:32verse 4 says but let endurance and
24:35steadfastness and patience have full
24:38play and do a thorough work so that you
24:42may be people
24:44perfectly and fully developed
24:48because you're not yet developed
24:51there you go
24:53there you go
24:55most of you think the way to become
24:58fully developed and to have strong faith
25:01is to go to church whether you're
25:03streaming or on campus and in prison
25:05worship Lord I love you Lord I bless you
25:08thank you Jesus I just worship you I
25:11just glorify you I just bless your name
25:14and we go through all of these little
25:16spiritual kind of a thing and we think
25:19that's how we develop endurance baloney
25:24you don't develop Faith just because you
25:27worship intensely
25:30you don't develop Faith that's because
25:32you can sing good or you fast 20 hours a
25:36month or so you don't develop faith that
25:39way you only develop faith when
25:41something bad happens to you
25:45and then God steps back
25:48and say now let me see what you're going
25:50to do
25:51ah

25:57so the things we go through in life lend
26:01themselves as the birth in place for
26:05change I love that
26:08the things we go through in life lend
26:12themselves as the birth in place
26:16for change
26:18so you've been praying Lord change me
26:20change me
26:22Lord improve me Lord I want to know you
26:25I want to remember what Paul says I want
26:28to know you in the power of your might
26:31but also
26:32in my sufferings
26:36you can not only know God through the
26:39Clapping of hands and praise and worship
26:41and good preaching
26:44and speaking in tongues and shouting
26:47and uh you you you're not going to know
26:49God just by good things happening to you
26:52so if that's your only reason of coming
26:54to God and giving your life to him is
26:57because you want to live happily ever
26:59after
27:00then just go to hell man just go to hell
27:02just go to hell
27:05because it ain't gonna happen
27:08it's not gonna happen if you really want
27:11to know God you better prepare yourself
27:13for some struggles man
27:16cause he gonna put them stuff in your
27:18path and he's gonna say now let me see
27:20what you're gonna do
27:22is it going to change you for the good
27:24for the better
27:26what's going to change you for the worse
27:29so the things we go through I have to
27:31say it again in life
27:33lend themselves as the birth and place
27:36for change and I suppose this is where
27:39most of us struggle we struggle to
27:43accept whatever we go through as God's
27:47way of changing us for greater cause
27:51so I encourage you
27:53stop looking at what you are going
27:56through has something evil unjust and
28:00unbearable
28:02don't do that
28:03instead see those things as part of the
28:07process God is using to get you to
28:11become a reflection of his image of you
28:17the way God sees you is that you are a
28:20powerful woman you're a powerful man
28:23greatness is in you he sees you as a
28:27successful individual he sees you as a
28:30mighty man of Valor he sees you as a
28:32virtuous woman he sees you as a
28:35successful man a woman husband father
28:37mother wife he sees you as a good
28:41business person or a successful person
28:43at the workplace he sees you managing
28:46your money well that's the way God sees
28:49you and if you want to see the way he
28:52see you manifest in your life then
28:55you've got to let him work it out in you
29:00gotta let him change you
29:03you got to let them allow certain things
29:05to happen in your life
29:08for his own Glory
29:10so stop looking at what you're going
29:13through
29:14as something evil and just unbearable
29:18instead I want you to see it as a part
29:20of the process that God's taking you
29:21through some of you can relate to what
29:24I'm saying today because you currently
29:27you are currently going through a change
29:31you don't understand it
29:34you've been bothered by what's happening
29:36to you God what what's up with this
29:40you're praying God stop it
29:44I need you to call them intercessors
29:46you'd call talk about faster than 40
29:48days and 40 nights no more faster no
29:50more prayer like that just handle it
29:53like a woman
29:55handle it like a man Square your
29:57shoulders and say if God chose this
29:59fight for me
30:01well I'm gonna fight my way through it
30:10this chain has changed though it may
30:12seem a bit uncomfortable
30:16it is to get you to live for greater
30:18cause and not just to be a person if you
30:21will who's responding to everything the
30:25devil throws at you
30:30you know you're not your best self
30:33you know it you're not the image of what
30:36God has called you to be because you're
30:38responding too much
30:41you allowing the changes that you're
30:43going through
30:44to change you in a negative way
30:47let the issues of life change you to
30:51become a better woman or a better man
30:55I don't care what you're going through
30:57let what God is doing in you transform
31:01you
31:03to become someone greater
31:06there's more of the attributes of Christ
31:10that have yet to come out of you you're
31:13not perfect
31:15you're not really a true reflection
31:19of the attributes of Christ therefore
31:21he's got to put some stuff in your power
31:23to birth them out of you
31:29so embrace the fact that you are no
31:32longer
31:33just rest in
31:36in your comfort zone
31:39God has stirred up your comfort zone
31:43embrace the fact that God had to remove
31:46some people from your life because they
31:50were a distraction
31:55embrace the fact that you are changing
31:58from a person who used to compromise
32:01a person who used to let everyone walk
32:05all over you and use you
32:10you're changing to someone
32:13who will put a person in check while at
32:17the same time demonstrating the Fruit of
32:20the Spirit
32:23what are you saying pastor
32:26I'm not a fool
32:28I'll put you in check
32:31while at the same time being christ-like
32:35look at the neighbor and say I ain't no
32:37fool now
32:40not a fool now I put you in check
32:43thank you
32:46become the person who says
32:49I will love you
32:52but I will no longer let you use me
32:58oh that's a good place to shout I love
33:01you
33:03but I will no longer let you use me
33:07choose
33:09Joy even though
33:11they chose misery
33:15tell yourself
33:17I chose peace even though you chose War
33:22I chose to deal with you even though you
33:25are unbearable
33:28I chose kindness even though you are
33:30unkind I chose goodness even though you
33:35chose to be bad I chose faithfulness
33:38even though you are unfaithful
33:42I chose to be gentle even though you are
33:45abusive brutal barbaric and insensitive
33:50I chose to have self-control
33:53even though you are out of control
33:57[Applause]

34:00because at the end of the day at the end
34:03of the day my brothers and sisters
34:06your desires should be to let the wrong
34:08that life gives you change you into a
34:12disciple of Christ
34:15so as I close this morning be very
34:17careful
34:18that you don't become so self-centered
34:21and close-hearted that you can't see God
34:24at work in what's happening in your life
34:29be careful not to allow yourself to miss
34:32the good things
34:34of the future all because you failed
34:37to discern God's Messengers
34:40sent to correct you
34:44because sometimes God will send people
34:45whether it's to preacher friend a family
34:47member your spouse
34:51to put you in check
34:54to transform you to change you because
34:57it's the process
34:59it's going to take time to change you
35:03so therefore God will send Messengers
35:06you got to be careful that you're not so
35:08puffed up in your pride
35:11because God knows how to
35:13check you

35:19be careful not to allow yourself to miss
35:21the good things of the future or because
35:24you failed to let go of your pride
35:28you fail to follow the leading of the
35:30Holy Spirit instead of people just to
35:33please them
35:35you fail to move from a place that no
35:37longer supports God's purpose for your
35:41life you fail to walk away from places
35:43where God did not plant you
35:49to place or places where he wants you to
35:53flourish
35:54and grow
35:56so God sent me here today to tell you
35:58he's allowing the situations in your
36:00life to change you from a person who is
36:03out of alignment with his word to one
36:08who will be right
36:10in alignment
36:12so here's the good stuff here's the good
36:15stuff
36:16life is a journey that takes us all
36:20through processes that should change us
36:24for the better and make God proud of who
36:29we have become
36:32that's the goal
36:35that's the goal whatever transition
36:38you're in right now
36:40whatever have changed in your life
36:44you got to see it has God taken you
36:46through a process
36:48to make you better so he ultimately gets
36:51the glory so he's proud of you where he
36:55can say he can look down from heaven and
36:57he can say
36:59okay look at my girl
37:03she didn't say nothing
37:06she could have responded
37:08she kept her mouth shut
37:11she held fruit to her integrity
37:15look at my man
37:18held his head up
37:21he didn't flip
37:23he didn't let his emotion get in the way
37:26handled it well
37:29he showed up on the job even though he
37:32felt like quitting
37:34because he knew God planted him there
37:37I'm proud of you son
37:40I'm proud of you
37:43I'm proud of you because
37:46her intent is to completely destroy you
37:51yet
37:52because she's the mother of your
37:54children
37:55you chose not to dog her out publicly
38:01you make me proud
38:04look at you
38:06you could have stole that money
38:09the devil place it before you
38:11you're desperate
38:14you need it you could have taken it and
38:17nobody would know
38:21but though you were tempted
38:24you walked away from it
38:29[Applause]
38:32your kids disrespected you
38:36and if your old school
38:43you know how to put your kids in check
38:46do we have any old school parenting in
38:48here
38:49are streaming
38:52but your kids do some crazy stuff and
38:55God's watching you
38:57and he's saying let me see if you've
38:59been transformed

39:09I'm still working in that area
39:14the job is to ultimately make God proud
39:18so the question this morning I have for
39:21you today who are you becoming
39:25who are you becoming are you becoming a
39:27monster
39:29are you becoming someone that God's not
39:31proud of
39:33that God is just totally embarrassed
39:35about as a kingdom citizen because you
39:39keep flunking the past
39:42every time you put a test before you
39:44instead of you just get out of yourself
39:46get out of your flesh and let the Holy
39:49Spirit lead you you keep flunking the
39:51task because you always got something to
39:54prove
39:57alone
39:58and he's saying to you
40:01no you don't need to do that
40:04let me work it all out in you so again
40:07the question is who are you becoming
40:11are you changing for the better
40:14or if God would look at you this morning
40:17and put his light of righteousness on
40:20you
40:22what would happen
40:25what if God will you know like you're
40:27going to the airports I just did this
40:29recently and you're going to the airport
40:31and
40:33you know you're going through that metal
40:35detector
40:37and you go
40:39you go beep beep beep beep beep
40:42go back sir
40:43is there anything else in your pocket
40:46and you oh shoot I forgot I had this
40:48okay
40:53BBB
40:56take your jacket off sir you do that
40:58again beep
41:01and sometimes this has happened to me
41:04there's nothing there
41:07so they'll say go through this thing
41:09that I hate
41:15and you go like this and this thing just
41:18goes like this
41:21step out sir
41:23and he looks on the screen and there's
41:25something
41:27an object
41:29he says sir I'm going to pat you down
41:32and he'll pat you down
41:34and maybe there's a pacemaker or
41:36whatever I don't know
41:38here's the point
41:40sometimes
41:43we think we're slick
41:47well you know God you know God you know
41:51I'm better you know God I what I used to
41:55be God you know I'm I'm a little bit
41:57more righteous than I was last month I'm
42:01doing better and God said BBB lie
42:07there's something more on you
42:10and then he takes you into where the
42:13word
42:15begin to x-ray you
42:21and perhaps this morning the X-ray is
42:24showing
42:25that there's something here
42:28and you're saying but Pastor ain't
42:29nothing I ain't got nothing on me I'm
42:31not talking about external inside
42:35Hillary David says created me

42:41you got clean clothes on
42:44hair is nicely done
42:47you're looking good but
42:49what is the X-ray saying about
42:54this
42:55because if this
42:57is not a reflection of his word
43:00I don't care how much you dress this up
43:04he doesn't get the glory out of it
43:07so let the Holy Spirit lead you and how
43:10you should respond to the circumstances
43:12of life
43:14it is in those circumstances that God
43:18changes and perfects you
43:22there's no denying
43:25you're changing
43:28and in the process
43:31of the changes
43:33I believe
43:35God wants to get the glory out of your
43:37life by your heads wherever you are
43:38those of you are streaming
43:41this is such
43:43a holy moment right now
43:46this is not a time for you to be
43:51thinking that this sermon applies to
43:53somebody else
43:55what about yourself
43:58what is God saying to you
44:03are you allowing the process to change
44:06you for the better
44:07are you have you gotten worse
44:13and you're in a sad condition a sad
44:16state of mind if you can't truthfully
44:18answer this
44:22I mean you're really in a bad situation
44:28lady sir please see that God has more
44:32for you
44:34and he wants to change you
44:37but it's a process
44:39it's going to take time
44:42you're here this morning and
44:44I'll deal with those of you are
44:45streaming in just a minute but you're
44:47hearing
44:48and you say pastor
44:50you know like Tamela Mann she did a song
44:52Change Me
44:55you know so I could be more a reflection
44:57of who God is
45:01you say pastor
45:02this word today oh
45:06I didn't know that I was going through a
45:07process
45:09I was kind of resisting it and
45:11now I think I know why
45:14would you pray for me sir
45:16because I don't want to miss my God
45:17moment this morning I I don't want to
45:20miss what God is trying to do in my life
45:22sir if that's your confession I don't
45:25want to miss what God's doing in my life
45:28at first I thought it was something bad
45:30but now I'm beginning to understand
45:32that it's God's doing
45:35to get the best out of me
45:38I would love to join you in prayer and
45:40if that's you I want you to rise from
45:42your seat don't even think about the
45:43person next to you don't even think that
45:46they have a heaven or a hell to put you
45:48in I want you if that's you get down
45:51here I want to pray with you right now I
45:53want to join my faith with your faith
45:57I I I want to help you
46:00to become your best self and you're
46:02never going to become your best self
46:05if you keep lying to yourself
46:08if you keep allowing
46:10your emotions and your flesh to tell you
46:13ain't nothing wrong with you you're fine
46:16the message don't apply to you
46:20if you know you're not changing for the
46:22better
46:24why accept that
46:27well don't you put more value on who you
46:30are
46:31I don't care who have rejected you I
46:33don't care what other people thought of
46:35you
46:37you got to put more value on yourself
46:38you got to believe that you are fearful
46:41and you're wonderfully made in the eyes
46:42of God
46:43you're not an afterthought
46:46there's a reason why God has allowed you
46:49to live through all the crisis coveted
46:51everything and brought you to this
46:53moment because he wants to bring the
46:55best out of you
46:57so it's a process
46:59it's the change you're going through
47:01embrace the change those of you are
47:04streaming maybe this message related to
47:06you and and you know that God has spoken
47:08to you right now I just want you to go
47:10and type your name because I'm about to
47:12pray right now and I don't want to miss
47:14you out I don't want to overlook you I
47:17wish to God you were in this building so
47:19you can join these people who are
47:21standing here in front we're not alone
47:23we all at times need God like this and
47:28I'm telling you what is to come in your
47:31future the devil sees it listen to me
47:33carefully he sees your future and he's
47:36doing everything for you to abort him
47:41he wants you to screw up so bad
47:44he wants you to Fumble the ball so bad
47:46the last thing he wants is for you to do
47:49a touchdown in your life
47:52the last thing he wants is for you to
47:55become a true reflection of who God
47:57ordained you to be
48:00he will always want you to hang around
48:02the wrong people
48:04he will always want you to be complacent
48:06and in your comfort zone
48:08never taken risk to step out of that
48:11comfort zone and trust God
48:14he will always want you to talk talk
48:16talk and listen less
48:19because a person who never listens never
48:21learn
48:23he always wants you to blame everybody
48:26else for your failures in life and you
48:29never taken responsibility
48:31he always want you to think that you
48:34know it more than anybody else and
48:36nobody else can talk to you
48:39because if he can get you into that
48:41state of mind the transformation that
48:44God wants you to have you'll never
48:45experience it
48:47but embrace the change whatever is
48:50happening
48:51some of you are going through some
48:53uncomfortable changes
48:56and you're wondering what the heck is
48:58going on
48:59you feel like God hates you and God's
49:02not with you and and here's what we love
49:04to do we love to compare ourselves with
49:07others well God you know what I ain't
49:10that righteous righteous but I know I'm
49:12more righteous than that one
49:17and how comes that one over there
49:21that I know their business look as if
49:24they're thriving better than me
49:27stop comparing yourself with people
49:29follow your own faith Journey
49:32your own path
49:35get delivered from people's opinion of
49:37Who You Are
49:43get completely delivered
49:45and become who God has called you to be
49:49so breathe for a second
49:52foreign
49:55with me

50:29I believe some people have received it
50:32I believe that some people are embracing
50:34their change like they have never
50:36embraced it before
50:40I believe somebody's saying I will trust
50:42the process I will trust what you're
50:44taking me through even though it's
50:46uncomfortable unbearable I don't
50:48understand it but since you planted me
50:50in it
50:52you will finish the work in me
50:56so God I pray in the name of Jesus that
50:59you will strengthen these people these
51:01women these men God even those who are
51:04streaming give them the strength and
51:07give them Father the Holy Spirit allow
51:09them to use the Holy Spirit to help them
51:13get through it without being stressful
51:17so that they can truly experience Faith
51:21they can truly have the faith experience
51:24to become all that you've designed them
51:27to be I believe they'll never be the
51:29same again I believe they'll take this
51:31word and they'll leave this Auditorium
51:33they'll log off today they'll enter into
51:35a brand new week with a different
51:37attitude knowing everything that you've
51:40placed in front of them is for a reason
51:42and with the help of the Holy Spirit
51:45they will successfully finish the
51:48process God I rebuke everything that's
51:51trying to stress them out I rebuke
51:53everything that's trying to cause them
51:55to think less of a woman less of a man
51:57that you have called them to be I rebuke
52:00everything that's trying to attack them
52:02for them to end their life in the name
52:05of Jesus God I speak life I speak a
52:08willingness to trust you God I see them
52:11in the future and they look a whole lot
52:13better than they look right now so Satan
52:16the Lord
52:17you God will perfect that which concerns
52:21them in the mighty name of Jesus and
52:24father we give you the glory the praise
52:26and the honor that they are healed that
52:28they are blessed that they're anointed
52:30in Jesus mighty name and if you believe
52:33it come on give him a praise this
52:35morning
52:36come on give him a praise if you believe
52:38it
52:40come on give him a praise of your

52:49embrace the changes
52:52don't you ever get flustered anymore
52:55you are better than who the system and
52:58the circumstances is telling you you who
