0:12Lord are you at this time going to
0:15restore the kingdom to
0:18Israel and he said to them it is not for
0:21you to know the times or the dates the
0:25father has set by his own authority
0:30but you will receive power when the Holy
0:32Spirit comes upon you and you will be my
0:36Witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea
0:40and Samaria and the ends of the
0:44Earth after he said
0:47this he was taken up before their very
0:51eyes and a cloud hid him from their

1:54passage highlights a pivotal point in
1:58Biblical history
2:01you see it was all about the Ascension
2:05of
2:05Jesus and before the
2:08Ascension
2:10Jesus uh gave crucial instructions to
2:14his disciples emphasizing the need to
2:17wait in Jerusalem for the gift of the
2:21Holy
2:23Spirit you see this empowerment would
2:26equip them to carry forward
2:30his
2:31mission and carry forward his
2:36renewed uh instructions of the mission
2:39and that they ought to do it with
2:42renewed strength and with renewed
2:46purpose so quickly here are some key
2:50points that we can gather from Acts
2:53chapter
2:54one number one we see here where the
2:59text is telling us the importance of
3:02preparation for what's
3:05next preparation for what's next the
3:09disciples
3:11were um having this conversation if you
3:15will with Jesus as they gathered around
3:18him asking him the question and notice
3:21the question was it was limited to a
3:25certain
3:27region are you going to restore Israel
3:31narrow-minded just Israel are you going
3:34to restore the Kingdom of Israel and so
3:38we see here that Jesus Was preparing
3:41them for what was to come next and I
3:46don't know if in this season of your
3:48life as you are two days away from
3:51closing out this year if you're really
3:54prepared for what's
3:56next what's coming next in your life
4:00and so Jesus early Ministry was coming
4:04to an end as we could tell based on the
4:06text and his work was far from finished
4:12it wasn't yet
4:14done so he was preparing these
4:18disciples to carry on his work and his
4:23instructions to his disciples was for
4:25them to remain in Jerusalem where they
4:28would be what and be
4:30empowered with the Holy Spirit T in
4:34Jerusalem don't walk away don't leave so
4:38if I had time I would talk about how
4:40sometimes you're praying to God to push
4:43you forward and God is saying it's not
4:47time stay right where I placed
4:51you stay right there in that
4:54situation stay right there in that
4:57uncomfortable Zone that you're in cuz I
5:00got something bigger and better for you
5:03and it is your willingness to stay where
5:06I planted you that's going to prepare
5:09you for what's next oh somebody ought to
5:12give God a praise for
5:16that you see this power that Jesus was
5:21um uh telling the disciples to go and T
5:25for wasn't just for their benefit but
5:29what it was for Global
5:33Outreach enabling them to be a witness
5:36in Jerusalem Judea Samaria and the ends
5:41of the Earth if you look at Acts 1:8 the
5:45Bible says but you will receive power
5:49somebody shout power power say it again
5:52like you mean it power but you will
5:55receive power he didn't say here's what
5:58I want you to do I I want you to T here
6:01at Jerusalem and and and you know and
6:03and I just want to talk to you I just I
6:06just want you to just embrace the the
6:09the influence and the power that I gave
6:12you maybe a month ago a week ago he says
6:15you want I want you to T here for the
6:18Holy Spirit and when it comes upon you
6:21you will be a witness you'll be a
6:24witness you'll be a witness you see one
6:27of the things we fail to understand is
6:29that what God wants to do he wants to
6:32empower Us in this season of Our Lives
6:35not so that wait a minute we can brag
6:38about look how good God is to me amen
6:43it's beyond that God wants to empower
6:46you so that you become a witness to
6:49somebody else who's doubting
6:52him wow that you become a witness but
6:57not just a witness to just your little
6:59small group of people that you
7:04like you see he didn't empower the
7:07church just to influence one another
7:10just to say we're all Christians and
7:12look how wonderful we look on this last
7:15Sunday of the month in all white it's
7:18not about us it's about the witness that
7:21we will become to the
7:23world are you hearing me here and so the
7:28second thing that I could say that is in
7:31the book of Acts chapter 1 is the need
7:34for refresh
7:36empowerment you see while the disciples
7:38had received impartation from Jesus
7:41during this time of ministry when he was
7:44on the earth with them he emphasized
7:46that they needed more for the new season
7:50that's ahead of
7:52them they've got to have more and ladies
7:55and gentlemen I have to tell you today
7:57God told me to tell you you got to have
8:00more for
8:032025 you got to have more for
8:082025 so as we approach the close of 2024
8:13and as we're looking forward for
8:152025 we must seek fresh empowerment from
8:19the Holy Spirit I I've got to tell you
8:23the power that you relied on in January
8:26February all the way down to de December
8:30is not going to keep you in January of
8:342025 much less the rest of next year you
8:38need fresh power somebody say fresh
8:40power fresh power so the scripture that
8:43I want to bring to you here is found in
8:46Isaiah
8:474031 it says Those Who hope in the Lord
8:52those who hope in the Lord those who
8:54hope in the Lord where where's your hope
8:57those who hope in the Lord are you just
8:59just hoping in the economy are you just
9:01hoping in the government are you just
9:03hoping on your job are you just hoping
9:06that you hit it big next year because if
9:08your hope is in anything else than Jesus
9:13Christ your hope is going to fail you
9:17but look at what the verse says Those
9:18Who hope in the Lord will renew their
9:22strength wait a minute that means you
9:24have some level of strength already
9:27that's right work with me here I know
9:29you're operating with some level of
9:31strength right now of course you got up
9:33this morning you got to church you're
9:35streaming that's wonderful you're going
9:37to your job tomorrow and you're going to
9:39do business for the next two days and so
9:41forth so you have some form of strength
9:44to function where you are now but for
9:47the future and the things that you're
9:49believing God for in 2025 those who hope
9:54in the Lord will find renewed strength a
9:58strength that is different from the
10:00strength that you're dealing with now
10:02why because you have bigger demons and
10:04Devils to fight in 2025 and the way you
10:08have fought this year you can't fight
10:11next year like that come on work with me
10:13here now you need renewed strength and
10:16then it says here that you'll become
10:18like an eagle flying so high like an
10:22eagle in other words you're not going to
10:23be a chicken walking around in
10:252025 not being able to rise above the C
10:29criticism not being able to rise above
10:32the attacks of the enemy you become this
10:34eagle and the thing with an eagle an
10:37eagle will fly so high but they've got
10:40an
10:41eye they've got an eye to look down and
10:44to look at whatever they want to zoom in
10:47on and what God is saying you're going
10:49to become that eagle that you're going
10:51to fly so high that you're going to be
10:53able to see the things that he has
10:56designed for you in the year and you're
10:58going to come come down get it fly back
11:01up come down get it fly back up you're
11:04not going to stay down at a level where
11:07people will attack you and win and beat
11:10upon you and destroy you you're going to
11:12fly so high that the criticism is going
11:15to just fall off your chest fall off
11:18your shoulders is anybody hearing me
11:20this
11:22morning he says for those who hope in
11:25the Lord will have renewed strength you
11:28become this eagle you will run and not
11:30be weary you will walk and you will not
11:33faint because so many people if you're
11:36not careful you're walking this Faith
11:37journey and all of a sudden you start
11:40feeling
11:41discouraged you start saying I can't do
11:43this but what's coming in the new year
11:46God is saying I want to bless you in
11:49such a way that I'll give you renewed
11:52strength that you're able to walk that
11:55you're able to walk patiently that
11:57you're able to have enough strength to
11:59make make it to the end of the journey
12:01the third thing we see here in the text
12:03is that we must focus on God's agenda
12:06not our
12:08own we all have our own desires and
12:11appetite right I get that but we ought
12:13to focus in God's agenda because when
12:15the disciples asked about the
12:17restoration of Israel in verse 6 Jesus
12:21redirected their attention to a broader
12:24Mission here's the meat of the message
12:26don't miss this here's the meat of it
12:28man because you got got to get this man
12:30as we're talking about in the next two
12:32days just before we cross over in 2025
12:36the importance of reloading allowing
12:40this fresh anointing and God already
12:42started doing this at the beginning of
12:44the service reloading downloading in us
12:48so that we become empowered for what's
12:51next cuz I I listen I'll be lying to you
12:54today if I tell you that in 2025 you're
12:57not going to come under attack
12:59that you're not going to have battles
13:01you're not going to have struggles we're
13:02all going to have it in fact it is going
13:04to be severe and I don't mean to scare
13:07you but every time the Devil comes on
13:10you with more pressure that should be an
13:14indication that God is giving you more
13:17that God is taking you to a greater
13:19Dimension come on work with me here so
13:22you cannot allow the pressure of life to
13:25cause you to miss the moment to miss
13:27what God is doing in in your life so
13:30this according to verse 6 Jesus as he
13:34redirected them to This Global Mission
13:37now this teaches us to broaden our
13:41perspective if you will to broaden our
13:44perspective and align ourselves with
13:48God's bigger plan for our lives rather
13:51rather than just being if you will
13:54fixated on personal or narrow goals all
13:58they were concerned about was are you
14:00going to
14:01restore
14:03Israel it's kind of like you God you're
14:06going to heal me you're going to heal my
14:09my kids and my family is it could you
14:12just do something for me me it's just
14:15you put a perimeter I don't want to go
14:17beyond that God are you going to restore
14:20because you're talking about the
14:21restoration of the presence and the
14:22power of God they were saying could you
14:25bring that restoration to Israel and and
14:29forgetting that there is Judea there's
14:33Samaria there's other parts of the world
14:36that needed that same
14:38restoration and follow what the
14:40scripture says in Matthew 6:33 that when
14:44we seek first the kingdom of God and his
14:47righteousness then all things shall be
14:50added unto us don't go into
14:532025 with the idea of just asking God
14:57for doing things just for you and your
15:02family this is where you're going to
15:04miss it the disciples were so concerned
15:08when are you going to restore our
15:10business our
15:13community Our Lives when are you going
15:16to do it for us and Jesus was just
15:19instructing them there's more to this
15:23plan that I have for the whole world
15:25than just your location
15:29so here is how acts one relates to you
15:32and me today as we close out 2024 let's
15:36reflect on a year watch this of growth
15:39challenges and triumphs you see it is
15:43essential to cherish the impartations we
15:46have received and there have been many
15:48we have received so many from God but
15:50also we should prepare ourselves for
15:54what's next we should prepare ourselves
15:57God how are you going to lead me and
16:01guide me into this New Year reload me
16:05put in
16:07me exactly what I need to not only deal
16:12with my personal life not only deal with
16:15the person that I'm dating or deal with
16:17my wife or my husband my children my
16:21relatives and my friends but God
16:24download in me something for my
16:27workplace
16:30come on now work with me here now
16:33reloading me something for my workplace
16:36something for my community something for
16:38Fort Lauderdale something for Miami and
16:42d and Broward County something for
16:44Florida something for the United States
16:47something for the Caribbean something
16:49for the whole world because you're a
16:51global God what you're doing in me is
16:54not enough just for me it's got to
16:57impact my children it's got to impact my
17:00family but it's got to impact my
17:02community can somebody give God
17:06praise so we need to have a renewal and
17:10a refilling just as the disciples needed
17:12to be recharged Jesus said go and be
17:16empowered we too need to be refilled
17:19with the power of the holy spirit for
17:22the negatives of the incoming
17:26year cuz I'm going to tell you this
17:28morning you're not going to make it in
17:342025 if you're
17:40empty listen to
17:43me an empty tank in a car is not going
17:48to get
17:49you
17:52far and only you and you
17:55know where the gauge is in your life
17:59you ever get in your car and you start
18:02the car and it's a normal routine to
18:05check the gas gauge to check where it's
18:09at and how many of you could tell the
18:11truth sometime you push
18:13it talk to me here
18:16now I'm not going to look over that side
18:18of Pastor tman I know what happened
18:20recently I'm going to tell his business
18:23this
18:24morning he's new in
18:27Florida and I keep warning War ing him
18:29and telling him this is different from
18:32Texas so he decided during Thanksgiving
18:35that he was going to take his family
18:37over to the
18:40Everglades and drove all the way in
18:43aligator
18:46alley with his
18:49family got as far as Marco Island I
18:53think it was and his wife said to him
18:56before you head back you need to fill
19:02[Music]
19:05up I know you're going to get me for
19:08this his
19:10wife with his daughter in the car or in
19:14the truck said you need to fill out oh
19:16no no no no we just stop on the way and
19:19Alligator Alley at a gas station
19:23[Applause]
19:29we'll just stop on Alligator Alley at a
19:32gas station and just fill up and his
19:34wife says no you need to refill right
19:37where we
19:39are so he didn't listen and he's driving
19:43alligator
19:46Al and when you realize that he's really
19:49out of gas now he turned down a dirt
19:57road oh he gets worse it gets
20:01worse it get it gets worse down a dirt
20:05road and by the way this was just before
20:13Dawn it was I mean I
20:16mean so he's telling me this on the
20:19phone and then he said you know what
20:22Pastor ah finally got to an area on that
20:26dirt road where a
20:31fence and he got out the
20:37car first mistake he made is getting
20:40that back you don't get out no car no
20:43dirt road down Alligator Alley that's
20:45why it's called Alligator
20:49Alley with snakes and
20:53everything long story short he was
20:56waving trying to get in a dirt Road and
21:00allig for somebody to stop he got lucky
21:04our guys came out and started recording
21:07[Applause]
21:17him the moral of the story
21:21is whenever you're on this Faith
21:25journey and as you are going listen
21:28listen to the voice of the Holy
21:32Spirit
21:35refill you're heading down Alligator
21:38Alley there's some alligators and
21:41pythons and all kinds of animals
21:45Bears there's all kinds of stuff down
21:48there you got to be prepared you cannot
21:51live your life on
21:57empty come on now
22:01some of you are taken too much of a
22:05risk honestly I told him you got
22:10lucky because it has gotten
22:13darker nobody's going to stop down there
22:17and for you be out of your
22:19truck in the
22:22darkness how many of you spiritual are
22:24walking
22:25around in the Darkness
22:29when there are P pythons and alligators
22:31near you when the enemy has set some
22:33traps that you have no idea all because
22:37he was warning you long time
22:41refill
22:43reload get
22:45empowered because there's a journey
22:47ahead of you I don't want you to detour
22:50I don't want it was never my will for
22:52you to go down a path where you end
22:55up at a dead end
23:01same thing with the
23:02disciples they limited their ability to
23:06see a broader picture of where God is
23:09taking them by just being worried about
23:13their
23:15Kingdom see you got to have a renewal
23:18and a refilling and then you got to have
23:21to become a steward over your time and
23:24your
23:25energy the upcoming year offers 36 to
23:28five new opportunities to align our
23:30lives with God's
23:32purpose who or what will occupy your
23:37time and attention and
23:40energy who's occupying your time what is
23:42occupying your
23:45time what is getting your
23:49attention so much watch this that your
23:52vision is so
23:56limited H that all you do you just pray
24:00to God God just bless my house bless my
24:02family when God is trying to show you a
24:05bigger
24:07picture finally here are three practical
24:10applications for
24:122025 quickly number one be available for
24:17God's
24:18instructions as much as the disciples
24:20almost missed it here's a thing I can
24:22thank God the text has proven to us the
24:26disciples were in the presence of
24:29Jesus to get
24:32instructions he said I want you to stay
24:34here in
24:35Jerusalem God can't instruct you if you
24:39are ignoring
24:42him he's talking to us every single day
24:46about the stuff we need to do he can't
24:49give you an instruction if you're not in
24:51his
24:52presence at least they were there yeah
24:55they doubted yes they limited their
24:58their their their perspective on the
25:00future and what he wants them to do but
25:02at least they were there to receive
25:04instructions from him so you need to
25:07create in your heart and schedule for
25:10God to guide and to empower you to
25:13refill you 1st Samuel 3:10 remember when
25:18Samuel went to bed and when he went to
25:22bed he heard a voice
25:25Samuel Samuel he woke up he rushed into
25:30the room to his to his leader Eli and he
25:33said you called me and Eli said no I
25:35didn't call
25:37you Samuel must have said wait a minute
25:40no maybe it was a
25:42dream he went back to bed he heard God
25:45calling him again but he didn't know it
25:46was God he ran into Eli and he said hey
25:50hey you called me Eli said no I did not
25:53call
25:54you puzzled and was wondering was it
25:57really a dream or am I there something
26:00wrong with me he went back to bed for
26:02the third time he heard the
26:05voice Samuel how many of you in
26:092024 have heard God
26:12constantly called
26:16you
26:18constantly constantly he would call
26:21you but you don't
26:24know maybe because you have you're not
26:27yet filled
26:29with the information and the power of
26:31the holy spirit so that you can
26:33recognize his voice Samuel did not
26:37recognize God's voice but here's the
26:40other part of the story that I love
26:42thank God even though he did not
26:44recognize the voice of God that he went
26:47to the right
26:50person who was able to lead him in the
26:52right direction be careful of the people
26:55that you put in your inner circle
27:01because you got to make sure that
27:02they're leading you in the right
27:04direction and the Bible says when he
27:07went to Eli the third time and prayed
27:10and said Eli I know you've called me Eli
27:13said no I didn't call you Eli instantly
27:16recognized that God was calling him and
27:18he said I want you to go back and lie
27:21down and the next time you hear that
27:24voice I want you to say Speak Lord yes
27:29your
27:30servant is hearing
27:33you I wonder how many of you in this
27:35room or streaming would honestly say to
27:38God cuz you know you you've missed him
27:40in
27:412024 he was calling you especially for
27:44those of you who are not Christians yet
27:46what do I mean by that because I'm
27:47careful how I use that word Christian
27:50I'm talking about you're not follower of
27:52Jesus Christ yet in other words you are
27:55around the vicinity of Christ you come
27:58to church you're
28:00streaming right you're just associating
28:03yourself with him you're kind of in his
28:06company but he's not guiding
28:10you you have yet to say Speak
28:15Lord I hear you fill me up fill me fill
28:21me get get this worldly stuff out of me
28:25get this fleshly desire out of me
28:28I hear you God I hear I hear you telling
28:31me leave that life the life of the world
28:34and come to me come to me come to me
28:36surrender everything I hear you God so
28:39speak to me God many of you have been
28:42hearing God knocking at your door since
28:45January saying I'm calling you I'm
28:50calling you into the kingdom you know it
28:52you know it but you've been pulled away
28:55why because instead of going to Eli to
28:58ask Eli I'm feeling uncomfortable I I'm
29:01hearing voices I don't understand I know
29:04I know something when I go to church
29:05every time I go to church it's like the
29:07preacher just preach everything like he
29:09knows my business it's like somebody
29:11told him what I'm going through and
29:13every time I'm in the building I don't
29:14know I feel something different I just
29:17feel like something is over me I just
29:19feel emotional and so forth cuz you're
29:22hearing God's voice but you're not going
29:24to the right people to be able to
29:28discern to say hey the next time you go
29:30to church what you need to do the next
29:32time that pastor says those of you don't
29:35know Jesus as your personal savior
29:37Surrender Your Life to him I want you to
29:39do that the next time you hear the
29:41worship leader are they're leading Us in
29:43worship and so forth I want you to go
29:45and instead of just standing there and
29:47resisting it because you you just it is
29:50you you just this is forign to you you
29:52don't understand it it's too emotional
29:54and you don't you know you don't want to
29:55lift your hands just do it just respond
29:58to God just throw everything to God give
30:01him your struggles give him your
30:03insecurity just give him
30:05everything the reason why some of you
30:08are incapable of doing that is because
30:11you're going to other people are saying
30:13please don't worry about
30:15that that's your
30:18mind just just ignore that Eli said to
30:22him the next time you go in
30:24there and you hear that voice I want you
30:27to say Speak
30:29Lord and I sense this morning some of
30:32you right now you're hearing that small
30:36voice saying today is for
30:41you God is saying to you you mean to
30:44tell me I have brought you through 2024
30:49you only have two more days to
30:54go and you refilled yourself with the
30:58pledges of the
31:02world how many clubs have you been to
31:05this
31:05year how many restaurants have you been
31:09to how many parties have you been
31:13to you've refilled
31:16yourself with hours upon hours that
31:19you've dedicated to your business
31:21dedicated to your
31:24job because you lived in your little
31:26bubble
31:29and you have refilled yourself with the
31:32desires of your heart for your
31:35spouse for your
31:37family for
31:39yourself for your little
31:44group but you have
31:46yet to go to
31:49Jerusalem and stay there stay in the
31:52presence of
31:55God until he reload you with this
32:01power so that you'll recognize that your
32:04life is bigger than the person you're
32:06dating bigger than the person you're
32:09married to bigger than the children
32:10you're raising bigger than that job
32:12bigger than that business bigger than
32:14that inner circle that you're dealing
32:16with that your life is more than
32:20that that you need to put yourself in a
32:23position where you're hearing the
32:24instructions from God and that you have
32:27a broader
32:28uh Kingdom perspective that you expand
32:32your vision where God wants to use you
32:36according to Matthew 9:37 it says the
32:39Harvest is plentiful but the labors are
32:42few that just like the disciples God
32:44wanted them to see beyond just
32:50Israel there's
32:52Juda there's
32:54Samaria the ous part of the world the
32:57whole world needs his love they needs to
33:00hear about the kingdom of God the entire
33:04world needs to know that God is crazily
33:09in love with
33:12them that the world needs to understand
33:16that you cannot do life without him you
33:19may try but at the end of the day you're
33:22going to come up empty and I'm talking
33:24to every woman in this house you have
33:26tried multiple
33:28men you have given your heart to them
33:31you have sold yourself out to them and
33:34almost every one of them have stripped
33:37you and left you
33:41empty there are men in this room you
33:43have given and devoted yourself to
33:46women you've opened up your heart you've
33:49become vulnerable and they have crushed
33:52your max
33:54masculinity they've destroyed you they
33:57broken people in this room broken people
34:00streaming right now hurt
34:04lost
34:06empty and the one who can fill
34:10us is the one we have closed our hearts
34:17to isn't it
34:19crazy that in the next two
34:23days you're going to trust people
34:28who have proven over and over that they
34:32cannot be
34:39trusted the next two
34:42days you're going to literally allow
34:46people to put in
34:48you what has caused you to be
34:53sick and the one source that we need to
34:56go to
34:58to be
35:00restored is the one
35:03source that we're
35:05disconnected
35:07from let me leave you with
35:10this I wrote this down and I I I I I got
35:15to find
35:16it
35:19because I want to pray
35:22for
35:24somebody who

42:11you it says accept people for who they
42:14are watch this but place them where they
42:18belong you are the boss of your own life
42:22watch this now hire fire and promote
42:26accordingly
