0:17but before I do I'd like to acknowledge

0:34Center thank you so much for being here
0:38uh this morning and then if you notice
0:41I'm wearing a t-shirt here a hoodie uh
0:45it says this is home and we do have
0:49several colors black white uh this one
0:53you have to order this color uh they'll
0:56have them in the bookstore they wanted
0:57me to remind you that they are in the
1:00bookstore um after the service today um
1:04if you don't mind just for a brief
1:06moment it's just in respect of God's
1:08word would you stand and turn in your
1:10Bible to Exodus chapter 14 Exodus 14 and
1:14I'm going to try to make this as quick
1:16as possible I don't have to spend a lot
1:19of time on this this morning Exodus
1:22chapter 14 if you don't have a Bible
1:25back in the days we had to come with our
1:27printed Bible and it will take a us a
1:30while to find it and and so forth with
1:33with technology you know you're able to
1:35watch it on the screen and so forth so
1:37hopefully they'll follow me as quickly
1:39as possible Exodus 14 beginning at verse
1:4421 and we'll go to 29 then Moses
1:47stretched out his hand over the sea and
1:51the Lord pushed the sea back by a strong
1:53East Wind all night turning the sea into
1:57dry land the Waters were split into two
2:03the Israelites walked into the sea on
2:05dry land and the waters formed a wall
2:09for them on their right hand and on
2:12their left the Egyptians chased them and
2:17went into the sea after them all of phoh
2:21horses chariots and
2:24Calvary as the morning
2:26approached the Lord looked down on the
2:29Egyptian Camp from the column of
2:32lightning and Cloud that threw the
2:36Egyptian Camp into panic and the Lord
2:39jammed their chariot wheels so that they
2:43wouldn't turn easily and the Egyptians
2:47said let's get away from the Israelites
2:51because the Lord is fighting for them
2:54against Egypt then the Lord said to
2:58Moses stretch out your hands Over the
3:01Sea so that the water comes back and
3:04cover the Egyptians their chariots and
3:06their Calvary and so Moses stretched out
3:09his hand over the sea at Daybreak the
3:13sea returned to its normal depth the
3:17Egyptians were driving towards it and
3:21the Lord tossed the Egyptians into the
3:24sea and the waters turned and covered
3:27the Chariots and Calvary and Pharaohs
3:29entire Army that had followed them into
3:33the sea not one of them
3:38remained in verse 29 and the Israelites
3:42however walked on dry land through the
3:45Sea and the waters formed a wall for
3:48them on the
3:50right and on the left father thank
3:55you that
3:57somebody will receive an answer today
4:00today somebody's going to be
4:04encouraged someone is going to finally
4:07realize that you've been fighting for
4:09them even though they couldn't see it or
4:11feel it use me in a mighty way today in
4:16Jesus name and somebody shout amen come
4:20on give the Lord a hand of Praise while
4:22you take your
4:23seat I want to talk to you quickly on
4:26the subject step into a new day
4:30step into a new day would you look at
4:32your neighbor and say step into a new
4:34day
4:36day someone once
4:39said every level of your life demand a
4:44new
4:45you sometimes it takes being broken to
4:48become a new version of yourself amen
4:54sometimes it takes being
4:58broken to become the new version of
5:03yourself so to become this new version
5:07of yourself it is critical to let go of
5:10the past learn from life lessons and
5:14surround yourself with people who share
5:17your values and your
5:19[Music]
5:20Pursuits and so one reason I love this
5:24church the Faith Center is because we
5:27are one body of
5:30believers who are committed to doing at
5:33least five things and I'd like to share
5:36them with you this morning number one
5:38we're a body of believers who are
5:41sharing God's agenda for the Earth or
5:45serving I should say God's agenda for
5:47the Earth that we play a role in God's
5:52agenda that we're here on an assignment
5:55we're here by God to do something for
6:00God on the earth number two that we are
6:03a people who daily live our lives by
6:07faith every day daily living a life of
6:11Faith the Bible says we walk by faith
6:14and not by sight we're also Daily
6:18becoming a better version of
6:21ourselves so for those of you who are
6:24not quite pleased with who we are
6:27currently please be patient with us
6:30we're not there yet we're not a perfect
6:33Church we're not a perfect people we're
6:36getting there because every day we're
6:39striving to become a better version of
6:43who God has called us to be we're also
6:47standing firm in our faith while loving
6:50those who disagree with our beliefs one
6:54of the things I love about this church
6:55is you may not agree with our beliefs we
6:59respect what you believe if you don't
7:02believe that there's a god well we're
7:04not going to argue with you but but you
7:06see you cannot change our minds from
7:10What We believe We believe that God
7:13exists we believe in the power of the
7:15Holy Spirit we believe in the Trinity we
7:18believe in water baptism we believe that
7:20every person must give an account for
7:24themselves to God that's what we believe
7:26now if you don't believe that that's
7:28fine we're going to love you through the
7:30process but we're not going to argue
7:32with you and belittle you and we're not
7:34going to say because you don't believe
7:36what we believe you can't come to this
7:38church it's not our church it belongs to
7:42God one of the things that I love about
7:44our church also is that we make everyone
7:48feel at home in God's house because it's
7:51not our building belongs to
7:54God we want everybody to come here
7:58knowing that you have a place here that
8:00you belong here and so ladies and
8:03gentlemen there's nothing more
8:05discouraging than feeling homeless lost
8:09unloved and
8:12rejected people are going through that
8:14every single day and sadly when they
8:17come into the church they're feeling
8:22homeless I don't belong here the way
8:25they make me
8:26feel I don't belong here because maybe I
8:29don't dress like them maybe I don't talk
8:31like them maybe I don't act like them
8:34there many people who feel lost when
8:36they go to the house of
8:38God because sometimes people struggle
8:41with mega churches they want those
8:43smaller churches and the reason for that
8:46is because the large churches sometimes
8:49they feel lost in it they feel like
8:52people will pass by them in the
8:55lobby and don't even say hello
8:59you see such feelings will leave you
9:03depressed homeless and hopeless causing
9:07you to wander through your life whether
9:10or not God loves you or is it worth
9:15serving him I want to talk to those of
9:19you who are streaming and in this
9:21building that you're in this wondering
9:24State of Mind does God love me
9:29he really cares about me all the
9:32mistakes I've made and things that I've
9:36done the failures you've had in your
9:40life you're at this stage of your life
9:43where you're wondering where is God in
9:45all of this and then you come to the
9:47house of God for answers or for Hope and
9:52sometimes you get disappointed because
9:54you don't see the hope you're looking
9:57for far too long this has been the norm
10:00for many especially for those who are
10:04striving to live a committed life for
10:07God balancing life's responsibilities
10:11taking care of yourself it's not an easy
10:14job your spouse your children your
10:16family you're running your business or
10:19trying to pursue a career it's never an
10:22easy thing to do these things are not
10:26easy I get it when you come come into
10:29the house of God you have gone through
10:32six days 6
10:36days of hustling six days of trying to
10:40discover who you are six days of trying
10:43to keep your mind in perfect peace six
10:46days of struggling and dealing with
10:48crazy people in your family crazy people
10:51on the job crazy people that you have
10:54hired to give them a paycheck to take
10:57care of their family and they don't even
11:00value that six days of hustling and to
11:05come into the presence of God and
11:09sometimes can't find Hope many of you
11:13are
11:14feeling that despite your efforts and
11:17your
11:18resources you've not achieved the
11:20results you hope for you're struggling
11:24and you're stressing yourself because
11:27you're believing God to get you out of a
11:29financial Dilemma to get you out of that
11:32stress with your son and your daughter
11:36to get you out of that stress dealing
11:39with that bad marriage that's not going
11:43anywhere you're just in it for the
11:47image and saving the
11:50embarrassment so when it comes to church
11:53whether in person or
11:56virtually you're seeking hope you're
11:59seeking answers you're seeking
12:02guidance and you're seeking a more
12:05successful life but unfortunately
12:10unfortunately instead of finding
12:12guidance and love that should Define the
12:16house of God you sometimes encounter
12:20leaders who are promoting their own
12:23agendas leaving God's people without
12:27Direction and leaving them hurt and
12:32confused I have to submit to you today
12:35as a leader myself I have to remind
12:38myself that this stage doesn't belong to
12:41me I have to constantly remind myself
12:44this stage is not about me trying to
12:48promote myself trying to impress people
12:52people's lives are hanging on every word
12:56that comes from this stage
13:00and the issue with the body of Christ
13:02today is that we find
13:06leaders who are no longer about the
13:09father's
13:11business but they're about their selfish
13:16agendas we have turned the house of God
13:19in a prison instead of a
13:22hospital we have turned the house of God
13:25in an entertainment center instead of a
13:28training ground
13:30and we've turned the house of God in a
13:33membersonly club instead of a community
13:40center and
13:42so we have let our
13:45emotions to lead us to be more impressed
13:49by self-proclaimed
13:52prophets who stand on stages and
13:56frequently saturate social media
13:59rather than spending time reading our
14:03Bible to know God for
14:07ourselves We crave for prophetic words
14:11but show very little interest in reading
14:13the scripture for
14:15ourselves and participate in in regular
14:18Church Fellowship to grow as one body in
14:23Christ we would rather listen to me
14:25ladies and gentlemen we would rather
14:28someone
14:29telling us what God is saying rather
14:33than us hearing from God
14:37ourselves there's this there's just
14:41appetite tell me what the Lord is saying
14:44prophesy to me give me a prophetic word
14:48and the church has wandered in the
14:50wilderness too far just like the
14:53children of
14:55Israel spent 400 years in the
15:00wilderness 400
15:03unnecessary years
15:06wondering not get into their destination
15:10not get into the promised land and I
15:12wonder who is under the sound of my
15:14voice that God is speaking to this
15:17morning saying to you aren't you tired
15:22of
15:23wondering aren't you tired of living
15:26your life year after year getting the
15:28same resol so I invite each and every
15:31one of you to seize this significant
15:33opportunity this morning to step into a
15:37new day of serving
15:41God because the Israelites for 400 plus
15:45years they've lost sight of the vision
15:49they've lost hope they could have
15:52possessed the land much earlier much
15:55sooner but they did not but I'm so glad
15:58that one day
16:00God spoke to the prophet
16:02Moses and challenged the children of
16:05Israel to look in the right direction
16:08let's let's let's use God's GPS to get
16:11us where we need to go and so the
16:14Israelites after spending over 400 years
16:17repeatedly doing the same things over
16:20and over again making no progress they
16:23misread watch this they
16:25misread moving in a circle for progress
16:30ress just because you are moving doesn't
16:33mean you're making progress notice I
16:36ended up where I started let me try it
16:39again just because you're moving doesn't
16:41mean that you're making
16:43progress if you're making progress you
16:46shouldn't end up back where you
16:49started and this is exactly what
16:52happened to the children of Israel you
16:54see the world is in a crisis this is
16:57evident in our our own country
17:01America if you're not careful these
17:04crisis can paralyze frustrate and leave
17:07us homeless and quite honestly tempt us
17:11to participate in the enemy's Playbook
17:15just to survive the children of Israel
17:18for 400 plus years followed the enemy
17:22Playbook and they couldn't
17:25survive 400 years they murmured and they
17:31complained 400 years they wouldn't
17:34follow the leader 400 years they made a
17:38mess of
17:40themselves and they didn't have to do
17:42that 400 years they went in a
17:46circle have no sense of direction but
17:49today I want to urge you to stop lenting
17:53over your struggles what Israel did they
17:56constantly talked about what they had to
18:00go through in Egypt why did Moses pull
18:04them out of
18:07Egypt when I read the story I couldn't
18:11help but think about what our society is
18:13like
18:14today that God is pulling people out of
18:20Egypt out of bad experiences pulling us
18:24out of bad
18:26situations and and on our way to where
18:29he's taken us we are just like the
18:33children of Israel We
18:36complain and we argue about God and
18:41sometimes we are telling him we would
18:43have preferred to be back in
18:47Egypt than where we are oh it's going to
18:50get
18:51better so I want you to stop blaming
18:54other people for the lack of progress
18:57that you're making stop
19:00stop it stop blaming other people for
19:04the lack of progress in your life stop
19:08blaming blaming the fact that you don't
19:10know your father stop blaming the fact
19:14that you parents were horrible stop
19:16blaming that your siblings are not
19:18supporting you stop blaming that well
19:22you know you had a rough beginning and
19:24whatever stop it stop blaming it's not
19:27getting you anywhere
19:31where stop it it's a new day step into a
19:36new day that will make you see that
19:40you're in a season of breakthroughs in
19:43Exodus 14 Moses was emotionally
19:46disturbed by what the Israelites were
19:49enduring and here is where it gets
19:52really interest in Moses were looking at
19:55the children of Israel they were
19:57murmuring they were complain raining and
19:59the Bible says that they were finally on
20:02the right path check this out they were
20:05fin 400 plus years Inner Circle I'm not
20:09talking about 400 Days ladies and
20:12gentlemen
20:14400
20:17years these people constantly went
20:21around in a circle and you mean to tell
20:23me nobody in the family could say to
20:27each other something is
20:30wrong we need to break this family
20:33generational
20:35curse we can't keep doing this year
20:38after year 400
20:41years we're doing the same things over
20:45and over again do you believe that God
20:48would have delivered us and bring us to
20:51this point to leave
20:53us but finally they decided we're going
20:57to be on the right path we're going to
20:59go towards the promised land fast
21:02forward to
21:032024 finally some of us are getting it
21:06finally some of us are saying that as
21:09for me in my house we're going to serve
21:12the Lord I don't care my auntie my uncle
21:14I don't care my sibling I am going to
21:17serve God I'm going to look to the hills
21:20from whence cometh my
21:22help I'm not going to do the same things
21:25over and over Moses looked at them as
21:30they were on the right path and all of a
21:32sudden fear took a hold of them the
21:37Bible says that one Moses in his armies
21:41or excuse me pharaoh and his armies or
21:43his army was closing in closing in do
21:47you understand what it feels like when
21:51you're on the path of greatness and
21:53success and the more you're going
21:56towards God the more you are really
21:59doing your best this time you finally
22:02got your life together you finally got
22:04your act together and you're going in
22:06the right direction and all of a sudden
22:09you find your past is trying to catch up
22:12with
22:14you come on I'm talking to somebody here
22:16this morning finally your pastor is
22:19trying to catch up with you fear
22:21overtook them they began to complain
22:24listen whenever you're are heading in
22:26the right direction I just want to
22:28settle this right now some of you think
22:30serving God everything ought to be okay
22:33I you you somehow you feel if I'm a
22:36Christian you know and serving God I
22:37won't have no drama that's a
22:40lie the Bible says many are the
22:43afflictions of the righteous can I be
22:45truthful to you this morning I have
22:48discovered any time you have made up in
22:51your mind that you're going to serve God
22:54for real I mean for real for real real
22:58real anytime you decide I'm going to
23:00serve God the devil is going to throw
23:03the kitchen the sink the dog everything
23:07at
23:08you you know why he wants to stop you he
23:12doesn't want you to walk into your
23:14greatness they started complaining
23:17that's why when you're catching hell
23:19from the devil you ought not to complain
23:22stop your complaining slap your neighbor
23:24and tell them stop your complaining stop
23:27it stop whining and complaining about
23:30what you're going through in life
23:32everybody's got problem you're not the
23:34only one who's going through drama I got
23:36problem you got problem everybody's got
23:39problem stop your complaining God is
23:42going to work it all
23:49out fear got a hold of them and all of a
23:52sudden they started
23:54complaining and then not only
23:56complaining now they started blaming
24:00Moses you got us in this situation isn't
24:04it amazing how you can help people get
24:06out of drama get out of mess and they
24:08turn around blaming
24:11you talk to me here somebody they
24:14started blaming Moses look at what verse
24:1710 to verse 12 says and Pharaoh Drew
24:19closer and the Israelites uh looked back
24:22if you will and saw the Egyptians
24:24marching toward them the Israelites were
24:26terrified and they cried out to the Lord
24:28and they said to Moses now watch this
24:30when I read this this is just like us
24:33today look what they said aren't there
24:37enough
24:39graves in
24:41Egypt that you took us away to die here
24:45in the
24:46desert don't miss
24:49this they were already planning their
24:55death you watch people who const stantly
24:59talk and have
25:01self-pity they said wait a
25:04minute you brought us out of Egypt Egypt
25:08that robbed them stole from them kept
25:11them in slavery they're saying
25:15Moses you could have left us in Egypt so
25:20we stayed there and died they already
25:24marked out their grave
25:26site in Egypt
25:29it's a worthless thing for God to have
25:32taken you out of something and you
25:35looking back wish you had died there
25:39they could have said wait a minute Moses
25:41we don't want to go back to Egypt but
25:44now that we're in the wilderness we
25:46rather die in the wilderness no that's
25:49not what they said they said we wish we
25:52would have
25:54died in
25:56Egypt we don't want to die where we are
25:59we don't want to die where we're going
26:02and then they said what have you done to
26:05us to bring us out of Egypt to this
26:08place what have you done to us it's like
26:12children looking at their parents after
26:15you have hustled all year long for years
26:19clothe them fed them send them to school
26:23bought stuff for them when you couldn't
26:25have bought it when you could have
26:26bought it for yourself and they grow up
26:29to be adults and they turn around and
26:32look you in the face and act like you
26:35did nothing for
26:42them the Israelites were saying to Moses
26:46what have you done to
26:48us they did not realize that they were
26:51in a better
26:53position as bad as the Wilderness is
26:56which by the way the reason why they
26:58suffered long is because of their own
27:00decisions some of you won't own up to it
27:04the reason why you're suffering the way
27:06you have suffered is because of your own
27:09decisions you married that
27:14person you made a decision many people
27:17were telling you don't marry to that
27:19person don't you do it don't you do it
27:21but you were in love and now you're
27:23catching hell you made the
27:26decision look at they been said boy he
27:29telling the truth
27:31man you made the
27:34decision nobody handcuffed
27:38you nobody put a gun to your head and
27:41say marry or I shoot
27:45you you decided to date that
27:49person you decided to go by the car when
27:52you know very well you couldn't afford
27:55it cuz you had to ride in St
28:00[Applause]
28:03y'all don't like me
28:04now you made all these decisions Israel
28:08was in the condition they were in for
28:10over 400 years because they made bad
28:12choices and when is the church going to
28:15make the decision and be honest with
28:18ourselves some of the drama we are
28:20experiencing the devil didn't do it we
28:23did it
28:29we did it we did
28:33it God get me out of financial debt in
28:36the name of Jesus and you're speaking in
28:38tongues and you want the pastor to to
28:40lay hands on you and grease you with all
28:42you made those financial bad choices you
28:46went into your computer and for two days
28:49the 16th and the 17th you order
28:51everything from
28:53Amazon cuz they had a sale
28:59[Applause]
29:07we did it we keep making bad choices and
29:12then all of a sudden we're looking for
29:13somebody to
29:16blame my husband was a dog and he left
29:19me what did you contribute to the
29:22relationship not
29:24working they blame Moses
29:29it was the Lord who said it's time to
29:33go but their bad decision got them in a
29:36bind and they couldn't handle it and now
29:38they're blaming
29:42Moses what happened to the spouse that
29:44you got married
29:46to that God gave
29:49you but you made some bad
29:53choices and all of a sudden you're
29:55blaming him or her
29:59just like the children of Israel they
30:01said didn't we tell
30:04you did to show you how these it's a
30:08habit some people it's hard for them to
30:12change their
30:15language watch the text in the
30:18wilderness they're not in Egypt anymore
30:21they're saying Moses what have you done
30:23to us why did you bring us here didn't
30:26we tell you back back in Egypt leave us
30:32alone read it didn't we tell leave us
30:36alone the man of God says it's time to
30:38go God says we we're coming out of we're
30:41coming out of here but they said it in
30:43Egypt leave us alone they come now in
30:46the wilderness what they saying again
30:48leave us alone what do you do to a
30:51person who keeps telling
30:54you leave me alone
31:02how can you help
31:05somebody who you know needs the
31:08help and every time you're trying to
31:11encourage
31:13them they keep telling you leave me
31:19alone leave me
31:21alone now some of us we're professional
31:24at this when somebody tell us
31:28leave them
31:29alone we leave them
31:32alone how many of you can say yeah
31:36that's
31:37me not
31:38Moses not Moses verse 13 says then Moses
31:43said to the same
31:47people I believe that some people even
31:50when they are telling
31:52you leave me alone they're only saying
31:57it cuz they're in desperate need of a
32:01word of
32:02encouragement Moses said to them don't
32:06be afraid stand your ground and watch
32:10the Lord rescue you today the Egyptians
32:13you see today you will never ever see
32:17them again the Lord will fight for you
32:21you just keep
32:24still I don't know who that word is for
32:27this morning
32:29I know you want the church the pastor
32:31and everybody who's trying to prophesy
32:33to you to leave you alone but we're like
32:36Moses no we've come to encourage you
32:39this morning the Lord is fighting for
32:42you I know you're going through a lot I
32:45know you feel stressed out but God is
32:48fighting for you I know you're telling
32:50us leave me alone preacher but I'm here
32:53today to tell you no we're not going to
32:55leave you alone we going to pull you out
32:57out of the Wilderness you've got to get
32:59to your destiny and somebody ought to
33:02give God a praise today you got to get
33:05to your
33:07destiny the children of Israel were
33:11complaining they stressed Moses they
33:14stressed them out to the point where the
33:17Bible says they made him
33:20cry and despite what they did Moses gave
33:23them a word of encouragement to never
33:26give up because the Egyptians used see
33:28the day you ain't going to see them no
33:31more that's why I believe it's a new day
33:34because for some of us some of the
33:37problems you are dealing with
33:40today God sent me here today to tell you
33:43those problems are now
33:51expired oh my God I don't know who this
33:53is for some of the struggles you've been
33:56having for years on years God sent me
33:59here today to tell you the struggle is
34:02over it's over it's over it's a new day
34:07somebody shouted it's a new day you are
34:11stepping into something great you're
34:13stepping into greatness you're stepping
34:15into an Open Door you're stepping into
34:17Miracles you're stepping into
34:19breakthroughs you're stepping into
34:21greatness you're stepping into a new
34:23season of power and breakthroughs
34:28that's the word of the Lord over your
34:31life so
34:33Moses after the people made him cry I'm
34:37closing
34:38this the Bible says that God saw his
34:42leader
34:44crying watched his leader that he put in
34:47charge that the people made him start
34:50crying and God looked at Moses and asked
34:55him a question why are you crying
34:59why are you crying I've come to ask the
35:02same question this morning leader of
35:05your house leader of your business
35:09leader of your family leader of this
35:12church why are you crying don't you know
35:15the god do you
35:19serve If He Did It for the children of
35:22Israel he'll do it for you he'll do it
35:26again and when God said to Moses he
35:29asked him the question why are you
35:31crying here's what God told Moses to
35:34tell the Israelites and I love it he
35:36said tell the Israelites get moving get
35:41moving get moving this is not a time for
35:45you to stay where you are complaining
