1:37is possible and it's kind of far-fetched

1:42to be talking about winning right now
1:45when we're in the middle of a pandemic
1:47when
1:48uh things are looking like
1:51it's headed in the wrong direction and
1:53they're just so many things people are
1:55overwhelmed
1:56with the issues of life so why would you
1:58want to talk about winning henry
2:01well i believe this is what god wants
2:04you to hear
2:05he want you to hear the truth about
2:08winning that you can win
2:09winning is possible now it's not
2:12automatic
2:13you know it it is something granted on
2:16to you
2:17you have the ability to win it is
2:20possible
2:21but there are some things you need to do
2:24in order to set yourself up to win in
2:27life the scripture
2:29that comes to my mind that that best
2:32describes the possibility of winning
2:35is luke 21 let's go there luke 21
2:39verse 19. just i mean a short
2:43phrase of that verse
2:46just just small it's it's not a lot you
2:49have to read a whole
2:51lengthy paragraph to get the message
2:53it's very simple
2:54in luke 21 verse 19. i love the
2:58new international version that
3:01translation says
3:02stand firm there's a comma pause for a
3:06moment
3:07and you will win in life
3:11it didn't say stand firm you will win in
3:13life stand firm
3:16and you will win in life
3:20when i read that passage of scripture i
3:22i mean it just
3:23confirmed a lot of things in me and and
3:26i pray it will do the same for you at
3:28this hour
3:30that you can win but according to the
3:33scripture here
3:34stand firm luke 21 19
3:38and you will win in life here we can
3:41clearly see
3:42that winning in life is possible however
3:45it requires
3:46one to be rooted and grounded in their
3:49faith
3:50stand firm so maybe you're going through
3:53something right now
3:55and you know you're not showing it to
3:58the people who are closest to you but
4:00there's a lot of things going on in your
4:02mind and you're
4:04you are really going through a difficult
4:07season not just because of the pandemic
4:09but it could be
4:11the aftermath you know there because of
4:13the pandemic they're
4:14they're domino effects if you will and
4:17those things are affecting your life
4:19and you're really having a difficult
4:22time
4:23and you're wondering how can you win
4:25well
4:26here luke 21 19
4:29stand firm that's it stand
4:32firm and once you do that
4:36you're setting yourself up to win
4:40that's what the scripture is saying
4:42you're setting yourself up to win
4:44you've got to be rooted now is not the
4:46time
4:47to be kind of wavering in your faith
4:51and we all do that from time to time i'm
4:53guilty of that too
4:55you know we waver in our faith we allow
4:58the circumstances of
4:59life to cause us to waver one minute we
5:02believe god the next minute we kind of
5:04like oh god what's happening here
5:06we're going to die you know don't you
5:09care that if we perish or not
5:11god come on are you coming to rescue us
5:14you know
5:14are you going to bail me out of this god
5:16are you going to fix that are you going
5:18to work this miracle that
5:19bishop been talking about since sunday
5:21it's been three days and i don't see my
5:24miracle yet god
5:25you gotta stand firm standing firm
5:28is suggesting that there is something
5:32trying to get you off balance
5:36that something wants to uh cause you to
5:39be
5:40unstable so the word of the lord is
5:44stand firm you've got to stand firm
5:48and i know it's easy said than done
5:51right it's so easy to say it but how can
5:54i do that man you know in this
5:56crisis that i'm in how can i do that
6:00how can i stand firm when there's
6:03nothing to stand on
6:05i got you there's nothing to stand on
6:08henry
6:09how can i stand firm on nothing
6:12well that's kind of faith right because
6:15faith
6:16doesn't need anything with it
6:19for it to work oh that's good
6:23because you see when when god asks you
6:25to put your faith into something
6:27he's not asking you to add to your faith
6:30something else
6:31of course you know of course you've got
6:32to work your faith and and
6:34all that kind of stuff but but i'm
6:36talking about when you
6:37thrust your faith in it on whatever
6:40situation
6:40believe god that god's going to deliver
6:42you out of that
6:44you don't have to see the deliverance
6:46you don't have to calculate
6:47or see the calculation of how it's going
6:50to happen
6:51one thing you do know is that you will
6:54have
6:54a good outcome i love that man
6:58that you will have a good outcome
7:00regardless of the situations
7:03you are faced with and why is this so
7:07you see winning in life will not
7:10come easy it won't come easy but if you
7:13don't quit
7:15if you don't quit you'll get there
7:18and you will win the price to win in
7:21life
7:22is very expensive it's a very expensive
7:25price
7:26so for those of you who think okay you
7:29know what i'm just going to lay there
7:30and play dead
7:31i'm not going to fight anymore i'm just
7:33going to quit i'm just going to give up
7:35well you have already rendered yourself
7:37a loser
7:39and i don't think that's your intention
7:42i think your intention
7:44is i want to win i want to win
7:48i want to be all that god has called me
7:51to be
7:51i'm talking about you now you know i
7:54want to overcome this
7:55obstacle i want to overcome this
7:57situation
7:59in the end i want to win you know when
8:01it comes to my health
8:03i want to win when it comes to my
8:05relationship
8:06i want to win when it comes to my family
8:09i want to win when it comes to my
8:11finances
8:12my business ministry i want to win
8:15and yes winning is possible but the
8:18price
8:20to win in life is expensive
8:24it's not gonna come easy you you talk to
8:28great successful people uh they have a
8:31story
8:33right they just didn't get up and you
8:36know it was just handed to them
8:38now some people were blessed like that
8:41but
8:41most successful people had to earn their
8:45success
8:46you have to earn it you have to earn it
8:49and
8:49plus they have they had to believe in
8:51themselves
8:53they're to believe that they have the
8:55gift to do whatever they set out to do
8:58and then they put their faith in their
9:00ability and most of them put their faith
9:02in god some don't believe in god i get
9:04that
9:05but most put their faith in god
9:09because you see jesus paid the price for
9:12our success
9:13long time ago when he went to calvary he
9:16said
9:17it is finish that means the battle the
9:20struggle is
9:21over the idea that you have been
9:25rendered a failure
9:29the idea that you've been rendered a
9:31failure
9:33is a lie because jesus said
9:37it is finished that's it
9:40it's done you have already won
9:43because he declared that the devil
9:46doesn't have the control anymore
9:49over your life and you have to receive
9:51that
9:52the truth is you need to use
9:55the resources of the word of god to
9:58access
9:58all the things that are required
10:02for you to live successfully in
10:05every area of your life the word has
10:08enough
10:09in it that's the bible has enough in it
10:13to help you win in life
10:16how do you define uh a winner
10:20how could you tell a person has won
10:23in life is it based on
10:26maybe the affirmation of people
10:30is that considered a winner oh you know
10:33that person did that they did they've
10:34accomplished that
10:36or is it the material things we acquire
10:39oh i got the house i got the car i got
10:42the job
10:43i got the status the influence is that
10:45considered
10:46according to the word of god
10:50a win in life no
10:53you see a win in life is the life that
10:56is
10:56lived in in a way that is pleasing to
11:00god
11:01a life that is lived in a way
11:04that is pleasing to god
11:08because you can have all the natural
11:10stuff and all the
11:12fame and all the influence and the
11:14success and the material things
11:17but according to god you're not winning
11:21and i would encourage you go after
11:25the plan of god for your life and that's
11:28how you're going to win
11:30come on now paul said it best
11:33i fought a good fight he said then i
11:37finished the race he fought a good fight
11:41he kept the faith
11:43he kept the faith and he finished
11:47you see at the end of the day you got to
11:48finish what you started
11:50at the end of the day you got to keep
11:52the faith
11:54you got to stand firm
11:57and nobody said it was going to be easy
12:00i told you
12:01winning winning in life is expensive
12:05but it's achievable you can get there
12:09to live a successful faith life
12:12it requires four things four
12:15things and i want to uh go through these
12:18four things with you then i pray with
12:20you
12:22number one you must believe that jesus
12:25christ
12:26has already declared you successful
12:30so if you want to live a successful
12:34faith
12:34life meaning you are a person of faith
12:37everything you do at the end of the day
12:39regardless of the setbacks you have
12:42you are more than a conqueror you are a
12:44winner
12:46to achieve that you have to believe that
12:49jesus
12:50that jesus has already declared you
12:56as a successful person that you
12:59are already declared successful you got
13:01to believe that
13:02it's it's all goes back to your faith
13:06you have to believe that and you say
13:07henry why are you emphasizing on that
13:09so much because you'll be shocked at how
13:12many people even people in the kingdom
13:14who honestly don't believe that they
13:17have the potential to win
13:20you'll be shocked at the response of
13:24some people just have a conversation
13:25with them
13:26and some of you if you're honest with
13:28yourself you
13:29know i'm talking about you right now
13:32because what you have in your mind what
13:35you're thinking
13:37you want god to do for you is completely
13:40contrary to what's coming out of your
13:43mouth
13:45it's amazing how our
13:48mouth is in close proximity to
13:51our brain the brain which
13:55gives you the ability to think
13:58i mean it's really close it's from right
14:01here to right here
14:03but i can tell you there's so many
14:06people
14:07when it comes to what's here to what's
14:10here
14:12it's night and day it's it's a vast
14:16distance because there's thinking
14:19i want to win i want to be successful
14:21but the stuff that's coming out of their
14:23mouth
14:23is nullifying what they're thinking
14:26and you can't allow yourself to get to
14:28that place
14:30you have to believe that god has already
14:32declared it that you are a winner
14:35do not let people and systems
14:39tell you who you are and what you will
14:41be
14:42you should not allow people some of you
14:45have allowed
14:46people you know who they are you've
14:48allowed people
14:49they've said it verbally non-verbally
14:52and you can sense the vibes you can
14:54sense
14:54listen listen there are so many people
14:58out there
14:58some they know you some don't know you
15:01some just heard
15:02second-hand information and some people
15:05for whatever reason
15:06they got a bad spirit because the spirit
15:08always tell them you know they'll say to
15:10you
15:11my spirit don't really take that person
15:13some most in most cases
15:15they just have a bad spirit because i
15:18i'm sorry i just
15:20i just can't get up and say i've never
15:23spoken to you before and you know my
15:27spirit is
15:27just no god's not like that
15:31show me in the bible show me in the
15:33bible say we need to stop this
15:35madness in the kingdom of god show me in
15:37the bible where
15:39jesus our example you know walked around
15:42and he just you know to a human being
15:44i'm not talking about
15:46picking up and discerning demonic forces
15:48and so forth
15:49but my spirit don't take you
15:53where did we get that from is it that we
15:57want to
15:57become this religious super person to
16:00impress people
16:02no but there are people who are like
16:04that and they're wishing you to
16:06fail but you've got to believe that god
16:08has already declared you a winner
16:11that you're going to win on that job
16:13that you're going to win
16:15in that business that you're going to
16:17win raising your kids
16:19you're going to win getting caught up
16:21with your your debts
16:23you know you're going to win when it
16:25comes to uh
16:26trying to purchase something that you
16:28desperately need
16:30you're going to win in life and getting
16:32married
16:33you know you're going to win in having a
16:35successful marriage you got to speak
16:37that into your mind
16:41you got to and you got to believe that
16:44that's what god wants for you
16:46and he has already declared those things
16:49to you number two
16:51you must have courage courage
16:54you got to believe that jesus has
16:56declared you successful
16:57but you got to be full of courage look
17:00at deuteronomy 31
17:02for time's sake i'll just go through a
17:04couple of things i love the message
17:05bible translation
17:07it says be strong well
17:10what did luke tell us 21
17:14it says to us that we are to stand firm
17:19so here you find one
17:22message is saying you ought to stand
17:26firm
17:26this other one is saying be strong take
17:29courage
17:30do not or don't be intimidated
17:35don't don't be intimidated don't
17:38allow the circumstances of life to
17:40intimidate you
17:42where you start doubting god and you
17:45don't have courage
17:47that you're so willing to give up and
17:49quit and some of you though you don't
17:51say you have given up or acted it out i
17:55should say
17:56though you have not acted it out you're
17:58speaking it and you're even thinking it
18:02because you don't feel like going on
18:04right and then the latter part of
18:06the verse deuteronomy 31 verse 6
18:10it says he won't let you down
18:13he won't leave you if you be strong
18:17full of courage don't be intimidated
18:21god won't let you down
18:24god will not let you down there's a
18:26whole lot of people who have let
18:28us all down we have let people down
18:32but god says i will not let you down and
18:35i will not leave you
18:37i will not leave you i will
18:40always be there for you and i will never
18:42ever forsake you
18:44look at psalm 27 psalm 27 verse 13
18:48it says i remain confident of this
18:51i will see the goodness of the lord
18:54be strong and take heart oh
18:58i love that take heart
19:02one translation says i remain confident
19:05of this
19:06i will see the goodness of the lord in
19:08the land of the living
19:10not not not when i die and go to heaven
19:14not when i die and go to heaven i'll see
19:16the goodness of the lord
19:18now god bless you god bless you listen
19:20listen to me sister
19:22sister you know your name
19:26you know your name listen to me sister i
19:29know you're on your way to heaven i
19:30could see you with your tambourine
19:32praise the lord
19:34i see you my goodness i see you
19:37knocking your tambourine and you're
19:38dancing you're on your way to heaven
19:40and my goodness you have planned to
19:42check out of here you're ready for the
19:44rapture
19:45you're ready for the rapture you're
19:46saying god with this kobe it's the
19:48second coming of the lord jesus christ
19:50and it's the end of the world and you've
19:52packed your bags already first of all
19:54leave them bags because you can't
19:58take no shoes
20:01no dress come on now you can't take them
20:04curlers that you curl your hair with
20:07leave them stuff alone go get a life
20:11i'm telling you the word of god says in
20:14the land of the living
20:17hit right here on earth unpack your bags
20:20if you
20:21if you ready to get to heaven um unpack
20:24your back
20:25in fact you know what quarantine
20:26yourself
20:28glory to god i like that quarantine

20:33and go read your bible come on man

20:42i see a whole lot of people saying

21:00our hearts and our intentions are good
21:02but boy sometimes we christians can act
21:05crazy man
21:07it says here be confident of this
21:10i will see tell yourself no matter what

21:14in spite of how the world has turned
21:17upside down
21:18in the midst of this cover 19 the
21:20uncertainty
21:22one news just said it yesterday
21:23scientists are now saying
21:25that we may not truly get through this
21:28until check this out summer
21:322022
21:36now when i heard that one part of me
21:39because i'm human
21:41one part of me is saying huh i almost
21:44threw my phone at the television
21:46so what would you what what what are you
21:48talking about
21:51i'm i'm trying to get out of town next
21:54month
21:56i'm trying to do something i'm i'm just
21:58trying to get get out i'm trying to
22:00i need to breathe i need to get out
22:04and you're telling me 20 22 that's the
22:07flesh part of me
22:09but then the spirit man kicked in
22:12got to be confident i will see the
22:16goodness of the lord
22:20no matter what season it is i will see
22:22the goodness of the lord therefore
22:24i'm going to be strong because
22:27i know i'm going to have a good time
22:31in this land among the living not when
22:34i'm dead
22:35gone to heaven number three are you
22:37getting anything out of this
22:39number three be determined
22:43see you you can't you
22:46you you can't be a person who don't have
22:50courage
22:51you can't be a person who don't fully
22:53understand that god has already declared
22:55your winner
22:56and you cannot be a person who just want
23:00to just fall back and say well you know
23:03what put a pause on your life
23:05you're on a journey you cannot stop you
23:07may have to stop to refill
23:09you know you may have to stop to get a
23:12tune-up or whatever it is
23:13change a tire i mean kind of speak in in
23:16natural terms so you understand
23:18spiritual concepts here you got to
23:20understand man that in the
23:22this faith journey there are times you
23:24got to stop to refill you got to stop to
23:27do some maintenance you got to do that
23:29but at the end of the day you
23:31got to be determined to make it to the
23:34end that's it
23:37wear the devil out with your faith
23:41let me say it again wear the devil out
23:43with your faith
23:45let when the devil see you get up every
23:47morning
23:49he gets nervous because he knows god is
23:52up to something
23:54god is up to something that's it
23:58god is up to something with you and some
24:00people say when you know when you wake
24:02up in the morning the devil see you wake
24:03up
24:04you know it it it's it's it's it should
24:07be a sign to tell the devil
24:09that you're about to kick his butt well
24:12the devil ain't got no butt
24:14the devil is not a human being so there
24:17ain't no kicking of nobody's butt
24:20what you need to do is you kill him with
24:23the word
24:25i understand what you're saying i get
24:27that but but sometimes we say stuff we
24:29need to be careful
24:31because there's no sense in that what
24:34you do
24:35jesus said man shall not live by
24:38bread alone but by every word that
24:41proceedeth out of the mouth of god
24:43that's when the devil was coming to test
24:45him he didn't kick no devil's butt
24:49he threw the word back at the devil
24:51because if there's one thing the devil
24:53is scared of
24:54is the word you know the word is like
24:58the chemical that the um
25:01the um you call those people the
25:04um people who do the uh pest control
25:08thing
25:10you know those pest control operators
25:12you know they come into your house or
25:14your office
25:15and uh the exterminators you know
25:19and they come into your place and
25:23i wish we could see how insects
25:27and roaches and flies how they operate
25:29because they do talk to each other you
25:30know
25:31they do they do so they've been living
25:35in your house
25:36unauthorized so you call the
25:40exterminator
25:41and you bring him in so he comes with
25:43his stuff and you don't hear it
25:45but they're talking
25:47[Laughter]
25:52the moment that van pulls up at your
25:54door
25:56them roaches say oh god
25:59some of us gonna die today
26:05i'm serious that roaches said some of us
26:08gonna die today
26:10when that person come into your house
26:12and he just
26:14i couldn't ah
26:18they're dying in here they're like oh
26:22that's how you kill the devil every day
26:25you get up
26:26glory to god the oh she's up he's up
26:30hit him with the word
26:34i've got courage i believe the word of
26:36the lord
26:37you hit him with that word ouch he can't
26:40handle that
26:42he cannot handle that so you got to be
26:45determined
26:46isaiah 40 verse 31 it says here
26:50this is good stuff anybody getting
26:52anything out of this
26:54isaiah 40 verse 31 it says but those who
26:58hope in the lord will renew their
27:01strength
27:02those who put their hope in the lord so
27:05how do you get strength
27:06it's not when you lose hope
27:10it's not when you waver your
27:13hope listen your hope is renewed
27:17so yesterday's hope may not keep you
27:19today or next week
27:21your hope is in the lord and it
27:24is renewed every day it gives you
27:27strength
27:28when it is in the lord listen you cannot
27:31put your hopes in the systems of this
27:34world you cannot put your hope
27:37in okay well you know government i hope
27:40i hope you're not that crazy you cannot
27:43put your hope
27:44on your in your company because some of
27:48you may think okay fine i've got my job
27:50and
27:50you think you're secure okay so so a lot
27:53of people thought
27:55you can't put your hopes in that you
27:57can't put your hopes
27:58in in the little money you save in the
28:00bank listen you could have a
28:03one year's worth of emergency funds
28:06saved up you can't put your hope in that
28:10you can't put your hope in the fact that
28:11you've got health insurance or
28:13you've got um you know other insurances
28:16and so forth
28:17even though you're supposed to do those
28:19things but you cannot put your hope in
28:21that
28:21because for those who hope in the lord
28:24will renew their strength
28:25they will what soar on wings
28:28like eagles they will run
28:32and not grow weary they won't get tired
28:35they won't get frustrated
28:37they will walk and not feigned
28:41because others are fainting but but
28:43those who put their hope in the lord
28:45will not faint will not pass out will
28:49not get exhausted
28:51and there's so many people getting
28:53exhausted because their hope is not in
28:55god
28:56they're trying to process things to use
28:59their mind to see how they can get out
29:03of it you better put your trust in god
29:04man
29:06because he's your only source right now
29:08so one of the best ways
29:10to stay on the path that leads to the
29:13plan
29:13of god for your life is to condition
29:16your mind
29:17to be determined to complete the journey
29:20you've started out on and i don't know
29:24how many of you are willing to complete
29:25your journey
29:27complete it you got to win you got to
29:30win because you know what
29:31if you cannot pass the test of covet 19
29:35you are not ready for
29:39what is about to hit your life in the
29:41next
29:42um a few years you're not ready
29:47you are absolutely not ready for what is
29:50about to hit your life
29:52the next few years you got to pass this
29:54test
29:55you gotta pass this test and deal with
29:58this
29:58yes you can you can pass it if your hope
30:02is in the lord and if you concentrate on
30:05what he's already told you
30:08finally number four and i love this one
30:11because this is the one where a lot of
30:14you
30:15are struggling in
30:19number four guard your heart
30:23or guard your mind i should say
30:26from it being preoccupied
30:30with other things that will prevent you
30:32from growing in your faith journey
30:35guard your mind from it being
30:39preoccupied
30:40with other things that will prevent you
30:43from growing
30:44in your faith journey guard your mind
30:48please whatever you do guard your mind
30:51your mind is a little unruly
30:56thing just like the bible says your
30:58tongue
31:00is deadly full of poison kind of untamed
31:06can't tame it you know it's gets out of
31:08control your mind can wonder
31:11that you can't control it it just start
31:15processing things and and thinking crazy
31:18things look at first uh
31:20thessalonians 4 beginning at verse 11.
31:24there's a couple of things in this
31:26passage of scripture that i want to
31:27break down
31:28to you in the niv it says make it your
31:32ambition to lead a quiet
31:35life so the first thing we know
31:39how you preoccupy your mind with
31:41positive things
31:42is to be ambitious to be ambitious
31:47because it says make it your ambition to
31:50lead a quiet
31:51life that's the first thing get
31:54get get into your mind
31:57i have goals i'm i'm determined
32:02that i'm going to live a quiet life
32:05not a chaotic life
32:08life filled with drama sometimes you
32:11know i honestly believe some
32:12some of the drama and the chaos that we
32:15have in our lives it's not that it was
32:18the plan of god for it to happen
32:20we have created it and then it went on
32:23to say
32:24you should this is good this is good
32:27this is
32:28good you want to know how you really win
32:30in life
32:31i shared those things with you man you
32:34went in life
32:34man by being you know uh
32:38understanding who god is and the success
32:40he's already declared for
32:42you that you know you got to be full of
32:44courage
32:45you got to you know be determined
32:49and now you got to guard your mind guard
32:52your mind
32:53don't let your mind let you feel as a
32:56defeated person
32:59not having any goals set goals
33:03i don't care how you're at the bottom
33:07set goals and then
33:10you want to know how to win look at the
33:13verse again
33:15you should mind your own business
33:19oh uh oh
33:24so it's okay for us when people are
33:28sticking their nose in
33:29our business and other people business
33:31we got scripture to back it up
33:34it's right there is it in your bible
33:37look it up you said no it's not in mine
33:39go to niv
33:42that's where it's at it says you should
33:46mind your own business
33:48that's number two be ambitious and then
33:51mind your own business
33:52stay out of people's business you're not
33:55going to win that way
33:57when you know more about people's
33:58business than your own
34:01and then work with your hands
34:06in other words do your best with the
34:08abilities god has given you
34:11and work with your hands that's how you
34:14guard your mind you tell yourself
34:15lord man i i'm setting goals
34:20and lord i'm going to mind my own
34:21business
34:25see that over there is not my business
34:28that over there is not my business i
34:31pray for them
34:32i pray for that but i'm gonna mind my
34:35own business
34:38because i'm gonna be busy working trying
34:41to get myself
34:43to a successful place
34:46people who stick their nose and make it
34:49a living
34:52to talk about other people
34:55and mining other people's business
34:5999.9 of the times
35:02they themselves are not successful
35:09so many people on social media talking
35:12about other people's business and
35:14sometimes yes people give them the
35:15reason
35:16to talk about their business but i
35:18always always ask the question okay
35:20while you're on social media posting
35:22about people's business or why you're on
35:24the phone talking about people's
35:26business
35:26while you're texting talking about
35:28people's business
35:31that person is working
35:35and it's a shame that all you do
35:39in life is watch other people getting
35:42successful
35:44all you can do is talk about them that's
35:46a shame
35:47and for those of you who have identified
35:49that they're people
35:51they just sit down in their mind and
35:52your business they they know more about
35:54your life than you
35:56do listen don't stop in your tracks
36:00to figure out why they're sticking their
36:02nose in your business
36:05what's your goal to win
36:10you've set out to win and you have to
36:13win
36:15win it's possible

36:20but you have to follow these principles
36:25know that you're a winner because god
36:27says so
36:30tell yourself that i've got courage
36:34yes i can do all things not just some
36:39all things through christ who gives me
36:42the strength
36:43if he has enabled me to do so
36:46i can get it done and then be determined
36:50don't you quit cry if you have
36:54to

37:02do whatever you have to get it out
37:06but after be determined
37:10be determined that you are going to make
37:13it
37:14that this too shall pass
37:18it's just wednesday thursday's coming
37:21friday's coming
37:22saturday sunday's coming
37:25that you are going to be
37:29in the land of the living show in the
37:32favor of god on your life
37:35and then guard your mind
37:38don't let your mind get preoccupied with
37:41crazy stuff
37:45don't let your mind play tricks on you
37:47to lose your
37:48your zeal and that passion and that
37:51desire
37:53to go after your passion
37:57so what if you failed try again
38:02do it again do it again
38:06winning is possible just do it again

38:11you might you might have gotten a big
38:13blow
38:14but do it again
38:18you're not alone i've gotten plenty
38:21big blows in my life do it again
38:26do it again sometimes
38:29if you're not careful you let the
38:31current situation box you
38:33in and you think it's so impossible but
38:35with god all things are possible
38:38yes it is i don't care if you have
38:42failed
38:44it is in failing you win
38:50several years ago

38:53in the 90s i believe it was
38:5890 it was 97.

39:07i know god called me to ministry that's
39:10my niche it's a gift
39:13and we were hosting our international
39:17believers conference back then it was
39:20called jehovah gyra
39:22if you've been with the church long
39:24enough you know
39:25that's was the name of the conference
39:27the provision of god
39:29and then we changed it to ibc in
39:32the international believers conference
39:34and
39:36um based on
39:39the amount of people who are following
39:41my ministry
39:43we couldn't have the conference at our
39:45church in fact when we were having
39:47major events like easter services
39:51new year's eve any conference that we
39:54would have we couldn't host it at our
39:56church it was too small
39:58so we would rent facilities well
40:02i felt that that year i
40:05felt that god wanted me to
40:08go big and
40:11thrust my faith into
40:15lee sin the sunrise musical theater
40:18this very facility please listen to me
40:21carefully
40:22this very facility could you please show
40:24them the facility the empty seat it's a
40:26beautiful auditorium
40:29very beautiful auditorium
40:32and uh it was a musical theater
40:38you know so many people have performed
40:40here
40:42so many people have performed here this
40:45was
40:45the ideal place for entertainment
40:49in all of broward county
40:52so um it's a seat back then it seat
40:584200 and i had
41:01every hope that this was going to be a
41:03successful conference
41:04did a whole lot of stuff put a lot of
41:07money
41:07into it mark it in brought some
41:10well-known
41:10speakers did what i was supposed to do
41:13because some of you
41:14you're blaming yourself and you're
41:16thinking your failure was a result of
41:18you
41:18doing something wrong sometimes you do
41:21everything that was right
41:23but still fail
41:27i thought i did everything that was
41:29right because i put money
41:30in on radio television i just
41:34we did everything that was right
41:37well ladies and gentlemen you see this
41:39beautiful auditorium
41:40i kid you not three days of conference
41:45three days of conference
41:49the very first night
41:51[Music]
41:52i remember i walked in and less than 300
41:56people look at this auditorium
41:58less than 300 people less than 300
42:01people
42:03was in this building for the conference
42:06ah you have no idea
42:10have you ever have you ever done
42:12something
42:14and you thought it was going to be
42:18successful
42:19and it failed and you had to
42:23walk in the room
42:27and put on a smile and try to
42:30force the smile and get your act
42:32together and square your shoulders
42:34and send a strong message that you've
42:36got it together but deep on the inside
42:40you're dying that's how i felt
42:45and i sat right somewhere here
42:48in the middle and i knew
42:52i knew we lost the money that we spent
42:57people didn't register just a few
43:02the speakers we needed to bless them the
43:05psalmist we needed to bless them
43:07we had to pay for this
43:11we have to pay for this facility and i'm
43:14sitting there and in the midst of the
43:16service to praise and worship everything
43:18is going on
43:19i did not tune myself or plug myself
43:24into what was going on i was just
43:25frustrated
43:27i felt like a failure
43:30and i did something
43:34i promised myself i've i will never auto
43:37those words
43:39out of my mouth ever again
43:42and perhaps god is saying that to you
43:44right now
43:45don't ever utter those words out of your
43:48mouth
43:50i sat there and i looked around
43:56and all i could say to myself
44:00i'll never do it again i'm done
44:05i tried it once i'm going to try to get
44:09myself out of this financial hole right
44:11now
44:12that's it i told myself i'll never do it
44:15again no
44:18sooner than i said that i heard the
44:22voice of god
44:23say said these words to me he said
44:26do it again
44:29[Music]
44:30you've got to understand i'm sitting in
44:32the middle of
44:34failure
44:37and i saw that maybe this was not for me
44:41maybe i tried it and okay fine it didn't
44:44work so
44:45okay count your loss and leave
44:50and now i'm hearing god say to me
44:53in the midst of my emptiness
44:59in the midst of my failure in the midst
45:01of my loneliness in the midst of
45:06everything that i'm enduring every
45:09failure
45:11every experience of lack
45:15that you're telling me to thrust my
45:17faith into it again
45:18are you crazy god
45:22don't you see don't you see how much
45:23money i lost don't you see
45:26people are going to talk about me don't
45:28you see they're going to
45:29because you know all of us we've got
45:32some haters
45:34don't you think they're going to say
45:35look yeah very ambitious
45:38because we just read it be ambitious
45:40okay yes he's full of himself
45:42i mean you know all the stuff that the
45:44enemy would throw at
45:46you god said do it again
45:50i knew it was the voice of god long
45:52story short
45:54two years later i did it again
45:58i did it again oh
46:04total opposite result
46:07it was so successful there were people
46:09literally
46:11lots of people on the outside trying to
46:13get in we were completely sold out
46:18one of the best conference we've ever
46:19had
46:23because i did not let my
46:26past failure blocked me from stepping
46:29out in faith
46:31and isn't it ironic that the building
46:36that i sat in and
46:39failed at planning an event
46:42was to build in two years later
46:45we had a similar conference the same
46:48conference
46:50and succeed at it
46:53and now we're owners of it
46:58don't run away from your failures
47:01because god may want to use it as a
47:04platform
47:04to preach faith to somebody else
47:09this is it this is it
47:14this is where i failed and look
47:17years later i'm still standing here in
47:20front
47:20listen who who looks like a total idiot
47:23right now the devil
47:27[Music]
47:28because what he meant for evil
47:31god turn it around for his good that on
47:34this day
47:35i can use it as a testimony to build
47:37your faith
47:38that just because you failed just
47:41because it didn't work
47:42doesn't mean that it can't work again
47:44doesn't mean that god can't
47:46birth something great out of it
47:49don't you quit get this mind
47:52right be ambitious
47:56and tell yourself that you're a winner
47:59stick to your business don't look over
48:02the fence
48:03stick to your business
48:06and work since god gave us this facility
48:10i've been working i've been working
48:14i'm doing my best because i know i know
48:17i know you see we keep forgetting that
48:20we we're only
48:21allotted a certain amount of time to do
48:23certain things because everything
48:25happens in seasons
48:28so i have my season and there are
48:31certain things that i must accomplish in
48:32this ministry
48:34what about your own life
48:37father i pray right now i just sense
48:40that you are convicting
48:42a person right now and god they needed
48:45to hear this word of encouragement
48:47[Music]
48:49i pray that their faith will not fail
48:51them
48:53that weak faith that doubting
48:57you know attitude that they will move
48:59from
49:01a moment of doubt into a permanent
49:04moment of faith that they live by faith
49:08every day
49:10but they'll hold their head up and that
49:12they will embrace the fact that winning
49:14is possible winning is possible they can
49:18win
49:20and i mean they can win in this season
49:23right now
49:24this very moment they can win
49:28thank you for healing them thank you for
49:31giving them hope
49:32thank you that someone was planning to
49:35quit but
49:36this message has given them an
49:40opportunity to change their mind
49:44i pray nothing but blessings for them
49:48in jesus name now listen
49:51i'm going to ask you right now
49:56if you don't know the lord is your
49:57savior
49:59you're not a christian you're not on
50:02this faith
50:03journey you're on your own journey
50:08and actually i hate to tell you the
50:10devil is driving you
50:13if you want to get out of his car or get
50:16out of his
50:16space his environment or stop
50:20allowing him to influence your life
50:23you can make that decision right now
50:26by turning your life over to him if
50:30you're ready to do that
50:32i just i'm just going to ask you say the
50:34sinner's prayer with me
50:35say lord jesus i'm a sinner
50:39i repent of my sins i invite jesus to be
50:42lord of my life
50:45and i declare that i'm born again in
50:48jesus name
