0:27by leading us in worship and i thank god

0:39you know
0:40you name it security everybody's here
0:43they are
0:44making it possible for you and i to be a

0:48of these uh services
0:51now i pray that you will right now

1:37i want to talk to you about the
1:39importance of
1:40seeing god in the problem so let's talk
1:44about
1:44see god in the problem you got to see
1:48you got to look for him because if you
1:51just pay attention to the problems alone
1:55and not try to find god in it you're
1:57going to miss
1:59god so after 30 years of ministry i'm
2:02entering in my 30th year of ministry
2:0724 of these years
2:11i can recall i believe it was
2:14the the the foundation
2:19being laid to my next season
2:22in life you may say 24 years it took you
2:25yes
2:26i think every day we're evolving
2:29every season every year we're evolving
2:32and some of us
2:33we're missing we're missing what god is
2:35doing
2:36all because we panic we get
2:39stressed you know in in the problems and
2:43so forth
2:44every problem for the last i think for
2:47the last 24 years because the very first
2:49six years
2:50it was to me the foundation was being
2:52laid of establishing the ministry and so
2:55forth but the last 24 years
2:57i have been through a lot i don't look
3:00like what i've been through
3:02but i believe those years were the
3:05platforms or was
3:06the platform if you will because it's
3:08one platform even those many years
3:11i think it's the platform that god is
3:14constructing all areas of my
3:17life you see nothing will ever take
3:21god by surprise nothing will ever take
3:23god by surprise
3:25no matter what you're going through no
3:27matter the trials the circumstances
3:30no matter what you are faced with
3:32nothing will ever take god by surprise
3:34in fact god will allow things to happen
3:37in your life for his glory
3:40just like for the last 24 years there
3:43are things that have
3:44happened in my life i firmly believe
3:47they happen for the glory of god
3:52so i wonder what do you believe took
3:55place
3:55in your life for the last few years that
3:58you can
3:59now conclude it was for it was all for
4:02the glory of god
4:03go ahead and type that what do you think
4:08god is allowed to happen in your life
4:12for his glory because i know
4:16all of the issues over the last 24
4:19years of my 30 years in ministry
4:23god got some glory out of it
4:26do you not know that god got glory
4:30out of your mistakes god got glory out
4:33of your setbacks
4:35god got glory out of your failures
4:40yes he did the thing that's
4:43troubling and uncomfortable to you
4:47are a door i believe of opportunity
4:52to experience god's power
4:55operating in your life but let me say it
4:59a better way
5:00the things the things the many things
5:03not just
5:04one thing but the many things that are
5:07uncomfortable to you are
5:10doors of opportunities to experience
5:14god's best for your life
5:18god is using all of those things to work
5:22out his best for your life
5:26that's why you got to see god in the
5:29problem
5:30you got to see your breakthrough in the
5:33problem
5:34you got to see you advancing
5:38in the problem yes because problems can
5:41be a promotion
5:44if you allow it if you embrace it that
5:46way
5:48you see this is where most people miss
5:50it they miss their god moments
5:53because they fail to see that problems
5:57are an opportunity
6:00to see god operating
6:03in their lives you see some people see
6:07problems
6:08as an act of the devil
6:11and they fail to see that it's
6:14also an opportunity for god to manifest
6:18himself
6:20are you hearing me you see not all
6:22problems are bad for you
6:24oh somebody need to hear this man look
6:27you're coming closer to the
6:29end of this year
6:32and and you you cannot afford yourself
6:35the next one two and a half weeks
6:38to to allow the enemy to lie to you and
6:41for you to miss your
6:43uncommon opportunities listen
6:46hidden in your problems are
6:49opportunities for you to see god's best
6:52for your life are you hearing me
6:57so make no mistake about it god uses the
7:01devil's plans
7:03to serve his own plan for your life
7:08yes you got to believe that man god uses
7:12the devil's plans to serve
7:16his own agenda so while you're kicking
7:18and screaming
7:19and lord i don't know how is this going
7:21to work out god's saying oh hush up
7:24hush hush man i got this
7:29there's some glory coming out of this oh
7:32hallelujah i don't know who that word
7:34was for
7:37after your it there will be some glory
7:41whatever your it is there will be some
7:44glory
7:45that will be manifested out of
7:48it we know what romans 8 28 says right
7:55all things work together
7:58for our good
8:02it didn't say some things it says all
8:05things work together for our good
8:09so the evil the wrong the the
8:12uncomfortable
8:13experiences all of those things
8:17god says it's working together for our
8:19good so i'm telling you
8:21that life will present some storms that
8:24will leave you questioning god
8:27what's happening it'll leave you
8:31questioning where is god when you need
8:33him
8:35life will throw some stuff at you but
8:37but you need to always remind yourself
8:40that god's trying to get some glory
8:43out of all of what you're going through
8:45and in the
8:46end it will work out for your good
8:50oh i believe 2020 will
8:54eventually work out for our good i know
8:57you may not want to hear it you can't
8:59embrace it but i believe 2020 is going
9:02to work
9:03out for our good you may not see it but
9:06god is in the midst of it you got to see
9:09him
9:09you got to see him yes as you get closer
9:12to the end of the year
9:13you got to see that god you were in the
9:16month of january you were in february
9:18march
9:19april june come on now you were in the
9:22month of may god
9:24june july august september october
9:27november now we're in december you are
9:30still in the month of december
9:32and god you won't finish this year with
9:35us why
9:36because our hope is in him we see him in
9:39the problem
9:41we see him in the pandemic
9:45so i know you have lots of questions i
9:48know you're asking god
9:50why a storm why a pandemic
9:56do you hear what i'm saying why a
9:59pandemic
10:00what's the purpose for the storm what's
10:03the purpose
10:04the purpose for the pandemic
10:07and then you know here comes fear is
10:10this going to kill me is this going to
10:11destroy me
10:12is this going to take away years of what
10:15i've worked for no
10:18doubt many of you
10:22have questioned god about
10:25storms in your life why why
10:28god but let me remind you that god is
10:31in control of your life
10:36god is controlling every area of your
10:39life
10:39everything you're dealing with god is in
10:42control of it
10:44he's working it out for your good
10:48you just got to trust him he's in
10:52control of your life
10:53and he will not suffer your foot to be
10:56moved
10:58oh hallelujah the enemy is doing
11:00everything to move you
11:02from your place of trust and confidence
11:05and faith
11:06he's trying to move you out of your
11:08blessed place
11:10he's trying to destroy you he's trying
11:12to take away your stability
11:14your security and your protection in god
11:18but the word of the lord says god will
11:20not suffer
11:22come on now your foot to be moved he who
11:25keeps
11:26israel he's not sleeping
11:30he's not a god that will overlook your
11:32struggles
11:35god's got his eye on you my question is
11:38do you have your eye on him
11:42are you looking at him and and seeing
11:45him even while you are struggling
11:50because he knows everything about you
11:54he knows everything and my friends he
11:57will not fall asleep
11:59while you are struggling

12:03i know you're thinking where's god some
12:06of you
12:06you're in the will of god you know you
12:08heard from god god told
12:10you to do certain things and you're
12:11doing it and you
12:13are freaking out because nothing seems
12:16to be working
12:17you feel exposed you feel the storm the
12:20pandemic the trials the struggles
12:23are about to wipe you out and you're on
12:25the verge of a nervous breakdown
12:28and here comes this preacher on this uh
12:31service this virtual service trying to
12:33tell you you ought to trust
12:35god and you got to see god in the
12:37problem what's wrong with you henry
12:40that's what you are saying what's wrong
12:42with you henry there's nothing wrong
12:44with me
12:44i'm feeling my defined the question is
12:47when are you going to wake up to reality
12:50knowing
12:51that whatever god
12:54has said about you nothing can change it
12:57no storm no struggles
12:59no pandemic can ever change it and
13:02wherever god
13:03placed you nothing can remove you
13:07are you hearing me nothing can remove
13:10you so
13:10listen you can win in life if you want
13:14to
13:15you can win i'm not going to tell you
13:18that you're going to have a life without
13:19problems it's not possible
13:23don't you listen to anybody who tell you
13:24well you know as long as you serve god
13:26and you read his word and and that
13:29and so forth and they'll tell you as
13:30long as you just live holy
13:33you'll be fine yes you ought to live
13:36holy
13:38but i'm going to tell you something
13:39holiness attracts
13:41the devil and his angels
13:45yes he's going to attack you
13:48because he wants you to walk out of the
13:49righteousness of god
13:56so you have to you have to embrace the
14:00fact that you can win in life
14:02yes you can win you can win
14:06i am declaring to you you can win in
14:09life
14:09if you put your trust in god your future
14:12is
14:13filled with greatness
14:16say that my future is filled with
14:20greatness say it again
14:21my future is filled with greatness one
14:24more time
14:25my future is filled with greatness
14:28make it personal your future
14:32is is filled with greatness
14:36and you got to look for it it's there
14:38you said henry it's not that it's there
14:40hit with everything you're dealing with
14:43with
14:43everything we just came out of the last
14:46few months
14:47and we're still in it your future
14:51is still bright oh that is so
14:53encouraging
14:55you see your plans
14:58as long as your planes as long as your
15:00planes are in alignment with god's word
15:03you will succeed all of your plans
15:08that are in alignment with the will of
15:10god for your life
15:12will succeed one of the things that i
15:16firmly believe is
15:21the act of faith
15:26makes anything possible
15:30the act of faith makes anything
15:34possible so whatever you're believing
15:38and hoping for you've got to activate
15:42faith
15:43every one of you
15:46you can have all that god has for you
15:49in spite of your setbacks in spite of
15:52your failures
15:55in spite of the path that life took you
15:58on you can have victory
16:02you can have all
16:06of the things that god has ordained for
16:08you in fact you can just win
16:10in life make it simple you can win in
16:13life
16:13every difficult situation creates an
16:16opportunity to be blessed
16:20every difficult situation
16:23lends itself to an opportunity
16:26to be blessed
16:29for you to have the promises of god
16:33you must live a life of faith the bible
16:35says the just shall live by faith
16:38live the word live it's talking about
16:42the process of
16:43life the just shall walk
16:46through life by faith
16:51and when we live our lives by faith
16:54it requires that we abandon fear
16:57and doubt
17:01whenever we live our lives by faith
17:05it requires that we abandon
17:08fear and doubt you you cannot on one
17:11hand
17:12have fear and doubt and try to have
17:16faith on the other hand
17:20some something is going to control the
17:22other
17:24you have to say i believe god and when
17:26you are
17:27challenged again i believe god fear and
17:30doubt should not be a part
17:32of your vocabulary it should not be a
17:34part of your lifestyle
17:38i believe that life is a combination of
17:41good and bad
17:42can't get away from it
17:46running to jesus christ and giving him
17:48your life trying to escape
17:50problems is like saying you want to live
17:53without breathing in air
17:57it's not possible
18:00you cannot live life embracing
18:04just great things and goodness and
18:06everything that's good
18:08you have to embrace the good and the bad
18:11some days
18:12you will see good things and other days
18:15you will experience
18:16bad things it's the game of life
18:21that's a part of life
18:25i don't care what you think you may
18:26think okay as a christian why are we
18:28going through all of this hey
18:29we were told life is a combination of
18:34good and evil
18:38however living the life of faith
18:41is a game changer
18:44you want to know why many of us are not
18:46breaking you you want to know why many
18:48of us have not gone to the crazy house
18:50you want to know why many of us
18:53don't look like what we've been through
18:56is simply because
18:57we have applied faith to our lives and
19:00therefore
19:01that was the game changer
19:06and you should try it too it would
19:10radically change your life
19:14you see you you you can't afford to
19:16spend
19:17the rest of your life focusing on
19:20your problems instead i suggest that you
19:24see god in the problems
19:27and see your problems as an opportunity
19:31to activate your faith in god
19:35you see i believe it is at difficult
19:38places
19:39you hear god the most i truly believe
19:42that
19:43i believe it is it is at
19:46difficult places you tend to hear god
19:50the most
19:51you tend to search for him and you will
19:54find him
19:57genesis 1 3 says and god said let there
20:00be
20:00light and there was light why because i
20:04believe god speaks
20:05into the dark places i think god speaks
20:09loudest in the dark places when he
20:12stepped out of his world
20:14and he came into
20:18nothing nothing
20:21emptiness he spoke
20:24loud into the emptiness and say
20:27let there be i firmly believe that when
20:31we find ourselves
20:33at a dark place that's when god
20:37shows up and say let there
20:40be a manifestation of my word
20:44in your life
20:47you see the absence of a problem
20:50suggests
20:51that faith is not needed did you get
20:55that
20:57whenever there's no problem
21:02then faith is not needed
21:07because faith is only needed when there
21:10are impossibilities
21:13are you getting this faith is only
21:16necessary
21:17in impossible situations so don't allow
21:20your problems to rob you
21:22of the promises of god put god
21:26first in everything you do and it will
21:29result
21:30in you having all things that pertains
21:32to life
21:35in the problem you say god
21:39i'm in it i trust you i'm not thanking
21:43you
21:43for it but i'm thanking you in it
21:46and i give you the praise that you're
21:48going to work all of this
21:50out for my good i love the declaration
21:54of matthew 6 33 it says seek first the
21:57kingdom
21:58of god and his righteousness and all
22:00things will be
22:01added on to you
22:05i love that man so the stuff that you
22:08want
22:09see the latter part of the verse says
22:11will be added unto you
22:13of course we're living our lives and we
22:14want things to be added on to us
22:16on a daily basis there's nothing wrong
22:18with that
22:19but how do you get those things to be
22:21added on to you
22:23seek god first seek god
22:27navigate your way through life searching
22:30for god and
22:31finding god in all of what you're going
22:34through because there's
22:35always a god moment in all of the drama
22:39in all of the setbacks in all of the
22:41failures
22:42in all of the criticisms in all of the
22:45betrayals
22:47there's a god moment in all of those
22:49things
22:51but you have to put him first and when
22:54you put him first
22:55i promise you you will begin this
23:00journey of faith and the holy spirit
23:04will let you finish that journey you'll
23:07finish strong
23:09why do you think some of us are going to
23:11finish 20
23:1220 strong because we see god in all of
23:16this
23:17are you hearing me we see god
23:21in all of this man yes we see him
23:26in all of this drama and all of these
23:29issues
23:30we see him and we know we're going to
23:33finish strong
23:34so whatever you have started i don't
23:36know what did you have started this year
23:38or years ago
23:40god can make you finish it philippians 1
23:436
23:43says being confident of
23:46this that he who begon
23:50a good work in you will carry
23:53it on to completion until the day
23:58of jesus christ
24:02the work that god began in you
24:06god will finish it god will not command
24:10you to do something and then
24:13not make a way for you to finish it
24:17he'll give you the ability to finish it
24:18so what unfinished
24:20business do you have
24:24left to complete
24:27you got to finish man i don't know who
24:30i'm talking to i believe i'm talking to
24:32some people man
24:33you gotta finish man i want you to
24:35finish you gotta finish man
24:37you gotta finish strong he who has begun
24:40a good work in you
24:41is able to allow you to finish it
24:44because if he spoke to you
24:46you'll get the job done he'll make sure
24:48you get it done
24:51he'll make sure
24:54he get it done that you get it done one
24:57of the stories in the bible you know
24:58where jesus
25:01told his disciples to go um
25:04[Music]
25:05in a boat you know and he'll meet them
25:09later
25:10according to the bible there's a couple
25:12of things i want to
25:14mention to you here according to the
25:16story
25:21what i've discovered is that number one
25:24in that story
25:27the bible says in verse 23
25:32night fell while jesus was alone
25:35very important he spoke to his disciples
25:39he told them meet me i'll meet you
25:42on the other side they followed his
25:45instructions
25:49and the bible says jesus
25:54found himself asleep in the middle of
25:58the night
25:58alone the verse says
26:02jesus fell asleep alone not the
26:05disciples
26:09oh my goodness i love this not the
26:11disciples
26:13but it was jesus who was alone
26:17the disciples were sent out jesus was
26:21alone and yes he fell asleep he was
26:23human
26:23god in the human form so he was
26:26subjected to
26:27human traits and the issues of life
26:30so he fell asleep the bible says jesus
26:34was alone but not the disciples many of
26:38us we think we are alone
26:40because we feel jesus is sleeping or put
26:43a blind eye
26:44to our issues when
26:47the truth is he's ever
26:51present with us
26:56that we're not alone jesus jesus don't
27:00need no company
27:01he don't need nobody around him he know
27:04how to handle himself
27:06we need him as long as we are not alone
27:09as long as you're not alone
27:10you'll be fine second thing i want to
27:13point out to you
27:14is that a delay is not a denial
27:20the disciples they were there and they
27:22were thinking oh my god where's jesus
27:25you know perhaps you know
27:26he left us in this boat to perish and to
27:29die
27:31because a considerable amount of time
27:34went by
27:35before jesus rescued the disciples
27:39because the bible said jesus looked and
27:41saw them struggling and of course it
27:43took a while for jesus to get to them
27:46and sometimes your delay can seems
27:50can look if you will as if god is
27:52denying you
27:55what you desperately need the other
27:58thing i notice about the story
27:59is hope sometimes can can
28:03can can um be threatened by
28:06fear your hopes of a brighter future
28:10your hopes to see god work things out
28:13and get you out of that dilemma
28:16can sometimes be threatened by your
28:18fears
28:19the disciples they were sitting there
28:21and they were fearful
28:23even though they were hopeful but the
28:25fear got a hold of them
28:28in such a way that
28:31it prohibited their faith
28:35from hoping to be delivered
28:39so the first thing that happened to the
28:41disciples when they saw jesus
28:43was they were fearful not only fearful
28:45of a storm it's one thing to be fearful
28:47of the problem but my god
28:49when god shows up to be fearful of him
28:52to be fearful of his doings
28:55to be fearful of the things that he's
28:57doing around your life that's bad man
29:00so don't let your hopes be threatened by
29:04your fears number four
29:09looks can be deceiving
29:12you know the disciples looked and they
29:14saw this image of a man
29:17and many concluded it was a ghost
29:21looks can be deceiving their times god
29:23is in the midst of your problem
29:25just like shadrach meshach and abednego
29:28god is in the midst of the fire with you
29:31and you may miss it you may not see him
29:35in the fire with you you may not see him
29:38in the problem
29:39with you in fact what the disciples saw
29:44which was jesus they considered a
29:47demonic force
29:48when it was actually god himself what do
29:51you think is devilish or demonic
29:54in your life that perhaps
29:57is a god thing have you ever thought
30:00about that
30:01perhaps it's a god thing and number five
30:05sometimes you have to go it alone
30:09i love this sometimes you have to go it
30:12alone
30:13you have to go your faith journey alone
30:16because while the disciples were
30:17arguing and complaining it's a ghost
30:20this is this
30:21peter decided i'm going to have a
30:23dialogue
30:24with the unknown he spoke to jesus
30:28jesus if that's you bid me come to you
30:33and peter by himself
30:37challenged jesus
30:40to do the unthinkable and i wonder
30:44what god is saying to you today for you
30:47to do right now
30:49what faith steps you need to take to
30:51challenge god
30:53to say god i believe you
30:56against all odds i believe you no matter
31:00what and i'm standing my ground and i
31:03believe
31:04that you can make me do the impossible
31:07i believe you can get me out of this
31:09situation
31:11did me come to you peter was the only
31:15one
31:16who called out to jesus and stated he
31:19wanted to do
31:21what jesus did in other words he was
31:25challenging jesus to put him to the test
31:30and sometimes people won't believe
31:33what you are perceiving your perception
31:36can scare the heck out of so many people
31:39but keep on dreaming keep on believing
31:42and keep on confessing
31:43and keep on testing god oh that's good
31:47keep on testing god
31:50you got to see god in the problem
31:54because whenever you're challenged
31:58god will always always show himself
32:01up with his promises
32:04and whatever you're going through please
32:07see god
32:08in it and embrace what he's doing
32:13in your life trust
32:16god always that something good
32:20will come out of your drama
32:23lord i thank you this moment
32:26that i have empowered your people
32:29to see you in all the crisis they're
32:32going through
32:34lord thank you thank you holy spirit
32:38thank you for that person watching now
32:40as they lift their hands go ahead and
32:42lift your hands
32:42just do it god as they surrender to you
32:46now i pray that they'll see your
32:49marvelous work
32:52in everything they're dealing with
32:54because god you are going to get some
32:57glory out of their lives
32:59they are going to benefit from the trial
33:03they're going to benefit from the
33:05dilemma from the drama
33:07bless them i pray father they will
33:09finish 2020 strong

33:14for what they're going through not
33:15everybody could handle it they are
33:17built for what they're dealing with
33:21and we thank you for that now now lord
33:24we lift up our seed
33:25we give our offerings to you it is
33:28something we love doing
33:30you feed us every week you empower us
33:33every week this is your church we love
33:36it
33:37therefore we build your church thank you
33:39for the resources that you put into our
33:41lives
33:43not all of us are immature not all of us
33:45question the issue of giving
33:47not all of us are turned off when it
33:49comes to giving
33:50we know given work
33:53we know it is the way to
33:57to to um to having
34:00a prosperous life in you so therefore
34:03we sow our seed tonight
34:06and we ask that you will bless our
34:08efforts
34:09and we give you praise that people are
34:12healed right now in every area of their
34:15lives
34:16in jesus name amen
