0:07going to ask that you turn to Hebrews 11
0:11a very famous passage of scripture

0:1611 and I just want to read the very
0:19first two
0:20verses we're familiar with this but I
0:23want to read it from the Amplified
0:25translation it says now Faith is the
0:29assurance
0:30title deed confirmation of things hope
0:34for divinely guaranteed it says
0:38here and the evidence of Things Not Seen
0:42the conviction of their
0:45reality Faith the Bible says
0:49comprehends as fact what cannot be
0:53experienced by the physical
0:56senses for by this kind of faith
1:00the men of old the men of old
1:05gain Divine
1:09approval just for a moment I want to
1:11talk to you about the anatomy of Faith
1:15the anatomy of Faith one thing is for
1:19sure I am intrigued by the Apostle
1:22Paul's writings on the subject of Faith
1:26especially what he wrote in Hebrews
1:3111 fascinating what he wrote and I
1:35honestly believe that
1:37Paul's devotion or he was devoted if you
1:41will most of his writings to help the
1:44church to develop faith in our faith
1:50Journey every one of you in this room
1:53and those of you are streaming we're on
1:56this
1:57journey called life
2:01life that's why it is crazy to look at
2:04other people and judge them on their own
2:08Journey criticize them when you yourself
2:11are on your own
2:14Journey we're all on this journey of
2:18life and I believe that we need biblical
2:22faith in order to make it through life's
2:26journey not our kind of faith not our
2:30emotions not our feelings but we need
2:33the biblical Faith the Bible faith in
2:37order to make it through our life's
2:40journey now regarding Faith the Apostle
2:44Paul he tries to explain to the church
2:47the anatomy of Faith he painted a clear
2:51picture showing us number one how faith
2:55is
2:57initiated how faith is
3:01initiated you just don't wake up every
3:03day and expect Faith to dominate your
3:08life you have to initiate
3:12Faith number two how faith is
3:16guaranteed so when you look at other
3:18people and they're walking in faith and
3:20they're believing God and God is doing
3:22things for them you have no right to say
3:26well I guess God loved that person
3:27better than me or God will use Henry
3:30Fernandez better than you because you
3:32know Henry is the pastor he's the bishop
3:35and he's got some special connection to
3:38God faith is guaranteed to every
3:42person the third thing I want you to see
3:45here is how faith is supported by your
3:50convictions if you don't if you're not
3:52convicted about anything then nothing
3:56will drive you to go after anything
4:00but when you're
4:02convinced then nothing is going to stop
4:05you and perhaps some of you the reason
4:08why you're not seeing the power of God
4:10manifested in your life is because you
4:13have no
4:14conviction you're wavering in your faith
4:18nothing is convincing you that God is
4:21real nothing is convincing you that God
4:23said certain things to you you have to
4:27live with conviction
4:29when I left Brooklyn New York in
4:331985 coming to South Florida didn't know
4:36what I was coming here to do I knew God
4:39spoke to me and God told me go to
4:41Florida it was one week after I got
4:44married no money but God told me to come
4:48to Florida I was convinced I was
4:50convicted I needed to be here I wonder
4:53how many of you under the sound of my
4:55voice God has spoken to you
4:59but yet you're not
5:01convinced you're not
5:03convicted that he spoke to you he told
5:07you was to go back to school and get
5:09that
5:10degree he told you was to leave that
5:13person
5:15alone he told you yeah that's the guy
5:19that's the girl marry her he told you go
5:24get that house go buy that land he told
5:28you save that money stop spending
5:35foolishly he's been talking to
5:38you but you're living without
5:42conviction for whatever reason you've
5:44allowed the enemy to control you in such
5:46a way that you're living without
5:48conviction number four how Faith does
5:52not depend on your physical
5:56senses God will speak a word to you he
5:59will challenge you through a preacher
6:01he'll challenge you by you reading the
6:03word of God or he'll speak to you
6:05himself and he'll tell you to do certain
6:08things but if you're going to depend on
6:11your physical senses to believe and
6:14act you may never do
6:17it because Faith doesn't depend on your
6:22physical
6:23senses I couldn't see how I was going to
6:26make it in Florida when I moved here in
6:2919 85 but I was convicted I needed to go
6:32to
6:34Florida when I got here I mean things
6:37was just rough and difficult I wanted to
6:40quit and go back to New York but God
6:42wouldn't let
6:43me and then for 16
6:47years I know God told me he said you're
6:50going to have
6:52children that's what he told
6:54me I mean if he didn't tell me that I
6:57would have given up because I have to
6:59come man after 10 years of waiting and
7:02nothing is happening hey I guess it's
7:04never going to
7:07happen and I never gave up because I
7:11know he told me you going to have
7:13children not a child you going to have
7:15children I I was convicted he spoke to
7:19me I wonder who God is speaking to
7:22through this sermon today he told you
7:25something but you've been listening to
7:28the buzzers
7:31the
7:33distractions been telling you
7:36otherwise robbing you of your joy
7:39robbing you of your Miracle he told me
7:42you were going to have
7:44children and I was
7:47convicted I didn't give up on it did I
7:50have to go through the pain absolutely I
7:53watched Pastor Beckford blessed children
7:55here this morning you have no idea what
7:58I had to go through standing on stage
8:02every month laying hands on people's
8:05children wishing I had one of my
8:09own I know what it is to ask God for
8:13something that you want him to give you
8:15yet he's telling you to be a blessing to
8:18somebody else I don't know who I'm
8:21talking
8:24to
8:26but I would go through the emotions I
8:29would go through the hurts I would go
8:31through all of the the the the the
8:34roller coaster ride with my
8:36emotions but I was
8:39convicted that my faith was not depend
8:43uh dependent on what I could
8:46see I didn't see it
8:48happening but I trusted God and all of a
8:52sudden it just
8:54happened 16 years first boy came
9:00big
9:03boy my son was over 10
9:06lbs he was
9:09big 16 months later Carol was back in
9:13the hospital giving birth to another 10
9:17plus baby b it was at that time I went
9:21back to God shut it down we
9:24done I mean how many of you would like
9:26God to bless you in such a way you got
9:28to go back to God said that that's just
9:30too much
9:34God I was convinced I was convicted that
9:38God was going to do it number five how
9:40our
9:41ancestors gain Divine
9:45approval so let's talk through the five
9:48pillars of faith that I just mentioned
9:50let's talk through that number one how
9:53faith is initiated you see Faith begins
9:57with a promise from
9:59God faith begins with a promise from God
10:04it is the Assurance the title deed of
10:06things hoped for this means that faith
10:10is not just wishful
10:13thinking faith is not just wishful
10:16thinking but a firm
10:19foundation based on God's promises when
10:23we hear the word of God faith is sparked
10:27within us
10:30that's how you get
10:31Faith when you hear the word of God
10:34there's a fire that starts in us this
10:38means faith is not just wishful thinking
10:42it's a firm
10:43foundation you see when we hear the word
10:46of God the Bible says faith is sparked
10:48within us how do I know that let's look
10:50at Romans 10:1 17 Romans 1017 it says so
10:55then faith comes by
10:56what faith comes by what I can't hear
11:00you faith comes by what hear you got to
11:02hear the word of God that's why you go
11:05to
11:06church that's why you pick up your Bible
11:08in your own free time that's why you
11:11saturate your hearing with the word of
11:14God and not all the other junk that the
11:17enemy puts before us and then it says
11:19and hearing by the word of God so it is
11:22through his word that we receive the
11:25initial spark of faith number two how
11:30faith is guaranteed you see faith is
11:33divinely guaranteed by God it is the
11:38confirmation that what we hope for will
11:41come to
11:43pass this guarantee is not based watch
11:46this on our abilities or our
11:50efforts but on God's unchange in
11:54character and his faithfulness to his
11:58promises his unchanging
12:01character I'm telling you God is not a
12:07flip-flopper God he doesn't say one
12:10thing like
12:13politicians not all of
12:16[Laughter]

12:20them God you know say something this
12:24minute next minute no his unchanging
12:28character and faithfulness to his
12:30promise how many of you really believe
12:32that God cannot lie come on let me
12:35see so I if if if you've demonstrated
12:38that 100% of you why do we doubt
12:42him why do we constantly doubt God when
12:46it comes to his promises you see this
12:50guarantee is not based on our human
12:52abilities our effort it's on his
12:55unchanging character look at Philippians
12:571:6 it says being confident of this very
13:02thing that he who has begun a good work
13:06in you will complete it will complete it
13:10until the day of Jesus Christ number
13:12three how faith is supported by your
13:16convictions you see faith is the
13:18evidence of Things Not Seen say it with
13:22me faith is the evidence of Things Not
13:25Seen let's say it one more time faith is
13:27the evidence of things not seen you see
13:31it is the conviction of our watch this
13:34of our reality our faith is supported by
13:39our deep rooted beliefs Dee rooted
13:43beliefs and conviction that God is who
13:46he says he is and that he will do what
13:51he has
13:54promised just
13:56believe what are you believing God for
13:59for what are you trying to hide or push
14:04away or try to get out of your mind that
14:07God told you he was going to do in your
14:11life why are you settling
14:14for average or allowing the enemy to
14:17make you think you're too old or maybe
14:20you've passed the opportunity in the
14:22year of significant opportunity why are
14:24you allowing the Devil to cheap you out
14:27of what God has for you amen amen you
14:30see Hebrews 11:6 tells us but without
14:34faith without faith you want to please
14:37God watch this you don't please God by
14:40just going to
14:43church you don't please God by just
14:46giving him an offering and your
14:48tithe the scripture clearly makes it uh
14:52plain here without faith it is
14:55impossible you cannot please God if you
14:58do not have
15:00faith for he who comes to God must
15:04believe that he is and that he's a
15:07rewarder of those who diligently seek it
15:11you have to believe that God will reward
15:14you if you chase after
15:16him are you hearing me this
15:19morning you have to believe that God is
15:22not a man that he should lie if you go
15:24after him he's going to bless you number
15:27four how Faith doesn't depend on your
15:30physical senses you see true Faith does
15:34not rely on what we can see hear touch
15:40taste or
15:42smell it goes beyond the physical senses
15:46yes it goes beyond the physical
15:49senses and it trusts the Unseen
15:53realities of God's kingdom how do I know
15:55that let's look at 2 Corinthians 5:7
15:59for we walk by
16:03faith not by
16:05sight we walk by faith not by sight so
16:11you get up every day you don't walk by
16:14what you
16:15see what you see is the sickness what
16:18you
16:19see is the disappointment what you see
16:23is the
16:24joblessness what you see is the threat
16:28of you losing and everything you've
16:29worked so hard for what you see is
16:34people that the enemy has hired to hurt
16:39you that's all you
16:41see but according to the scripture we
16:44walk not by faith not by sight sorry but
16:48we walk by
16:50faith the Bible says for we walk by
16:53faith not by what we see well how am I
16:56going to purchase a house in this bad
16:58economy
16:59interest rates are so high and prices
17:01are so high how am I going to get the
17:03car H you know well you know I may never
17:07get married I I may never get pregnant
17:10you know we we don't you don't get up
17:12every day as a Believer and just keep
17:16walking by what you see cuz I'm telling
17:19you if that's how you're living your
17:21life you will always be a
17:24flip-flopper you will always be
17:26inconsistent because what you see in
17:28most cases will not encourage you to
17:33believe that's why the Bible says for
17:36for those of us who are believers we
17:38walk by faith we walk by what we know we
17:42walk by our convictions we walk we walk
17:45by what we know God has already spoken
17:47to us about because faith is about
17:50believing in God's promises even when
17:55circumstances seem on the contrary
18:00that we going to believe
18:03God how willing are you to believe God
18:08even when things in the natural is
18:13saying
18:14otherwise do you believe God that's the
18:18question you have to ask yourself today
18:20how are you structur in your faith life
18:23do you believe God and if you believe
18:26God then you need to change your
18:27attitude
18:29you need to change the way you're living
18:32who are you allowing influence in your
18:35life why do you give so many powerless
18:40people so much credit and power over
18:44your
18:46life their words cannot nullify the word
18:50of God over your
18:52life are you hearing me man that's a
18:55good place to give God praise man their
18:59words cannot
19:01nullify the word of God over your life
19:04and number five how our
19:07ancesters
19:09gained Divine
19:11approval you want to know why our for
19:14fathers were able to do all the stuff
19:17that they did with much less than what
19:20you and I have today the men and women
19:22of old gained Divine approval because
19:25they followed watch this biblical
19:27anatomy of faith
19:30they trusted in God's
19:32promises believed in his character the
19:36character of God and they acted on their
19:39faith despite not seeing immediate
19:44results they
19:46prayed and sometimes it took a long time
19:49for them to see results and I just want
19:51to talk to a few of you who for whatever
19:54reason you pray on Sunday and if God
19:56doesn't show up on Tuesday you going
19:58backslide you're going to leave the
19:59church you're going to leave God you're
20:01going to leave the faith what's wrong
20:03with
20:05you our forefathers waited for a long
20:09time to see
20:12results let me take you back to the 50s
20:15and the 40s when slavery was I mean just
20:19ripping this country apart and they were
20:22beaten and they were whipped and they
20:23were used and they were sexually abused
20:26and so forth and they prayed for God to
20:28deler deliver them and they didn't see
20:30the
20:31results they didn't see it but did they
20:35stop they kept praying they kept
20:38believing they kept believing they kept
20:40believing because you see they weren't
20:42just thinking about themselves they were
20:45thinking about their seed they were
20:47thinking about you and me today cuz they
20:49knew even if they did not experience
20:52Freedom that their ancestors or their
20:56children would experience it
21:00sometimes what you're fighting for is
21:02not just for
21:05you we become a selfish
21:08generation very selfish it's all about
21:12us and we're not even thinking your
21:15children needs your
21:19faith for them to make it you're going
21:21to have to believe God for
21:23them for them to make it you've got to
21:26pray them through you've got to have
21:28faith and let them see the faith in you
21:30so that they can model their lives after
21:34you are you hearing me Hebrews 11:2
21:38here's what it says for by this kind of
21:41Faith the men of old gained Divine
21:46approval they had a stubborn steadfast
21:49faith and that Faith honored God so
21:52understanding Paul's anatomy of faith
21:55will help you to seize the significant
21:58opportunities that God has for you in
22:01this season of your life you see
22:05Paul encouraged
22:07us to have the type of faith that
22:10remains steadfast watch this an
22:14unshakable by life's
22:16challenges I want to ask you this
22:22morning why some of you got such a bad
22:26attitude when you're going through the
22:28challenges of Life
22:31why why is your attitude so unchristian
22:39like as if maybe you were some special
22:43person that God shouldn't
22:47allow trials to hit your
22:49life
22:51why what is so special about you why are
22:55you so spiritually bougie
22:58[Applause]
23:05why what makes you think that God will
23:08allow trials to hit your neighbor but it
23:11Should Skip
23:15you so let me talk to you as I try to
23:18close this with the three attitudes the
23:22three
23:23attitudes that you and I must have or
23:26the three attitudes I should say we're
23:28going to be confronted with in
23:31life and the one attitude you must be
23:36constant in would you bring the chairs
23:38out for me please I want to show you
23:40this because th th this this this got to
23:45bless you please put one right there
23:47right there and I want you to put the
23:49other one right there and that one where
23:52the ex is right over there sir
23:56right I got to demonstrate this to you
23:59because I want each of you to check your
24:04attitude to see if youve you're allowing
24:07the circumstances of
24:09life to shake your
24:15faith attitude number one which I think
24:19you should
24:21possess is what I call the central the
24:26heart of our faith and that is holding
24:30fast to what you
24:33believe holding fast to what you believe
24:37being anchored and
24:40rooted in what you
24:43believe if you don't believe for
24:46something you will fall for
24:51anything am I helping anybody so
24:55far so the kind of attitude you need to
24:58have in this year of significant
25:01opportunities so that you don't miss
25:03those opportunities is the faith that
25:06says I'm going to hold
25:08fast to what I
25:10believe what are you believing God
25:13for you name it hold fast to it this is
25:19the kind of attitude you need to
25:23have but there's a second
25:25attitude that some of you have embraced
25:29and hopefully today you will discontinue
25:33from doing that it's an
25:35attitude that I call a wavering
25:39mindset instead of you
25:42staying in the position of I believe God
25:46no matter what I don't care what I lose
25:48I don't care what people say I don't
25:50care how I feel I don't care how my
25:52emotions are trying to play me I am
25:55going to stay with God s Sly some of you
25:59have gone over to the wavering
26:02mindset that is a person who lives with
26:05a double-minded
26:08mindset and we've got a lot of them in
26:10the body of
26:12Christ you could just watch them each
26:14week they come to church one week they
26:17come praise and worship high and they
26:19praise the Lord thank you Jesus they
26:21clapping and Hallelujah and you could
26:24tell they're just getting to the rhythm
26:26of the song and next week
26:32[Applause]

26:37and that's if they show
26:40up
26:44wavering life hits them a certain way
26:47they get upset whatever they
26:50waver they ask God for something instead
26:53of anchoring your faith and believe
26:56God I guess it's not going to happen for
26:59me you've allowed the circumstances of
27:02life to cause you to be double-minded
27:05and the reason why you're unstable it's
27:08not because people hate you it's not
27:10because Society don't like you it's
27:12because the Bible says when you are
27:15devil minded you are
27:19[Applause]
27:20unstable and when you're unstable you
27:23not only mess up your own life but you
27:25mess up the life of the people around
27:27you why do you think so many young
27:29ladies are struggling with us Brothers
27:32It's because a lot of us we are
27:35double-minded we don't know what we
27:39want and she can identify
27:41[Applause]
27:43it because instead of you just believe
27:45God and stand firm on what you believe
27:48you're double-minded so here it is she
27:51wants a husband you want a wife but
27:53you're double-minded you're unstable and
27:55now you're going to mess this girl's
27:56life up because because you're not solid
27:59in your
28:06belief come on
28:08now unstable the third attitude that
28:13some of you have adopted and you
28:15shouldn't have it it's not only a
28:17double-minded person but is this now the
28:20double-minded person I got to say this
28:23the double-minded person have a
28:25tendency to believe
28:29and then something happens they go to
28:32unbelief
28:34lukewarm
28:37flip-flopper that's why like I said
28:39you'll see some people I'm telling you
28:41some people one minute they're in the
28:43will of God next minute they're out of
28:45the will of God but this is the most
28:49dangerous attitude to
28:51have and it's the attitude of a
28:56doubter cuz when you doubt you have
29:01cancelled the
29:04opportunities cuz what you're saying
29:06it'll never
29:08happen doors will never be open God will
29:11never show up in my life it's not like a
29:14waiver in person I mean want me they
29:16believe and you shouldn't and so forth
29:18but when you are a doubter you have
29:20closed the door for significant
29:23opportunities to take
29:26place and God sent me here that morning
29:28to help you to move from the wavering
29:32mindset attitude and the attitude that
29:35says I'm a doubter and he wants you to
29:38be in the position where you say on
29:40Christ the solid rock I stand everything
29:44around me is sinking S I believe the
29:46word of God whatever he says about me
29:49I'm going to stand on it if he says I'm
29:51blessed I'm blessed I don't care if I
29:53got two pennies in my pocket I am
29:56blessed whatever God spoke over my life
29:59I believe it I walk in it I confess
30:05it great that's what I am going to
30:10believe sir sir yes sir but watch this
30:14here's the question I really have for
30:18you this morning would you come here uh
30:20for me uh Minister Darlene I want you to
30:23come
30:25here because I want to help you this
30:27morning thank
30:29you now you're in the
30:32seat with an attitude that I firmly
30:35trust God and I believe
30:39God I believe God I Trust You Lord I
30:42believe God but here's the question I
30:44have for you this morning I just want to
30:47list about six issues that we all going
30:50to be confronted with in
30:52life and I wonder what your response is
30:55going to
30:56be every body will be faced with
31:02challenges
31:05everybody what seat are you going to
31:08take whose voice are you going to listen
31:14to what voice are you going to listen to
31:17that's going to take you out of your
31:20place when there's uncertainty with your
31:23singleness when there are issues with
31:26your health when there there's Financial
31:28struggles when there are career
31:30challenges when there are family crisis
31:33and
31:34drama and all these
31:38challenges through the Journey in
31:41life gets caught up with you cuz some of
31:45you don't understand you may not be
31:47going through something yet it's just
31:49that it's not your time to be
31:52[Applause]
31:54tested oh look at your neighbor said the
31:56test is coming
31:59it's coming baby I don't care how you
32:02pray speak in tongues and rebuke and put
32:05a cross up and do you don't it's
32:08coming so I want to know when the issues
32:11of Life come to you and challenges you
32:16come here come here come come you see
32:18the first thing she made a huge

32:24mistake no no no no no you can't go sit
32:27back there
32:28[Applause]
32:29big
32:30mistake because that's what life is all
32:35about there's always going to be issues
32:39that are trying to capture your
32:41attention and for you to follow its
32:48instruction because all the issues of
32:51life will confront you as long as you
32:53are seated in the right position
32:58do not let your insecurity of your
33:01singleness move you out of your firm
33:07position do not let health issues do not
33:11let Financial struggles do not let
33:13career challenges and do not let family
33:16drama pull you out it's going to call
33:19your name it's going to say come like
33:22when I just demonstrated it and she made
33:25the mistake don't make the mistake of
33:27getting up when somebody else call you
33:31except God only answer to
33:35God only answer to God do me a favor
33:41come here you may go back to your seat
33:43cuz you messed up I love you I love you
33:46I love you I love you you messed up you
33:49messed up come here come here come here
33:53you messed
33:54up you messed up come here
33:57please be

34:01so should I leave you with this this
34:05morning whose instruction are you going
34:07to
34:09follow cuz God's about to say something
34:12to you he's going to remind you of his
34:13word he's going to tell you what he
34:16wants you to do he's going to tell you
34:18that in
34:192024 your year is going to end big he's
34:23going to tell you in 2025 he's got all
34:26kinds of things in store for you he's
34:28going to tell you that in 5 years from
34:30now you're going to look a whole lot
34:32better than you look right now he's
34:34going to tell you that I shall supply
34:37your every need he's going to tell you
34:40no weapon formed against you shall
34:43prosper every tongue that rises up
34:45against you shall be condemned he's
34:48going to tell you by his stripes you are
34:51already heal he's going to tell you a
34:54whole lot of good stuff
34:58the devil is
35:00also going to tempt
35:03you the issues of Life are going to come
35:06and the challenges with your singleness
35:08and your health issues and your finances
35:11and your career challenges and they're
35:13going to call you come they're going to
35:15call you come you almost moved almost
35:19moved but I'm so glad she was
35:22anchored in her confidence because
35:25they're going to call you
35:28the enemy of your soul is going to test
35:31you every single day he wants you to
35:34come from your seat of confidence into
35:38well I'm not quite sure yet I don't know
35:40if God's going to do it and when he gets
35:42you over here it's only a matter of time
35:45for you to become a
35:49doubter so my question to you today as
35:53Paul framed the issue of
35:56faith when he he says now
36:01Faith is
36:04substance something I can stand
36:07on I'm

36:26healed I'm standing firm that God's
36:29going to work out that immigration
36:30system I'm standing firm that God's
36:33going to cancel my debts I'm standing
36:36firm that I will live debt free I'm
36:39standing firm that I'm going to be
36:40healed from hypertension and diabetes
36:43and high blood pressure and cancer I'm
36:46standing firm that I'm going to get
36:48caught up with my bills I'm standing
36:50firm that I'm going to get that job I'm
36:52standing firm that I'm going to finish
36:54my degree I'm standing firm that God's
36:57going to bring that right person in my
36:59life and stand I'm not going to be
37:04moved by the circumstances of
37:07life I want you to stand on your feet
37:09with me I'm not going to be moved thank
37:13you I'm not going to be moved by the
37:16circumstances of life
37:19amen I'm not going to waver
37:22anymore and I'm certainly not going to
37:24be a doubter
37:27because my faith is now somebody shout
37:30now now say it again now now my faith is
37:36now I'm not going to wait until I can
37:38see it in the physical to believe
37:41it I believe now right now I believe
37:45that God is already he's already
37:47promised me good things and no matter
37:50what I feel now nothing is going to call
37:53me out of my blessed position I don't
37:56know who I'm talking talking to but
37:58you've allowed the enemy to call you or
38:00call you out of your blessed position
38:03don't move I don't care I don't care
38:06what happens tomorrow I don't care what
38:08happens by Friday I don't care what
38:10happens by the end of this year do not
38:13move out of where God planted

38:28so three years into me moving to
38:32Florida something bad
38:38happened I got up one morning and only
38:42to find out the job that I
38:44loved the building was on
38:48fire God said go to Florida listen I
38:51don't know who this is for some of you
38:53you know God spoke to you but there's a
38:56little buzzer in in your ears
38:59contradicting what you
39:02heard fire burned the entire building
39:06down 125th Street and 6th Avenue in
39:13Miami and I got to that
39:16place and I stood across the street and
39:18I watched my building on
39:22fire my whole world fell apart it's my
39:25only income
39:28what am I going to
39:29do I have nobody in Florida to help
39:32me this is my only source I don't know
39:35who this is
39:37for and I stood
39:39there and the devil start talking you
39:42should never left New
39:44York this would never happen what are
39:46you going to
39:47do and this is how the devil was setting
39:49me
39:51up my boss came to me and he said well
39:55we're not going to reopen the office
39:56here in Florida
39:58we're going to move some staff to
39:59California and lay some people
40:02off so you we're going to relocate you
40:05to Florida um to
40:09California
40:10California God said
40:13Florida the opportunity came to go to
40:16Florida you have to know the difference
40:19between what God Said or what
40:22opportunities are out
40:25there I don't know who who this is
40:29for I know God said Florida but the
40:33opportunity was California go to
40:35California
40:37man but I was smart enough to go and I
40:40pray said God I don't know I don't know
40:42how I'm going to make
40:44it but I guess I have to go to
40:48California and I heard God spoke to me
40:51as CA as when he spoke to me about
40:53coming to Florida he said don't go
40:59stay here's a struggle for me here's a
41:01struggle for me I'm in his
41:05will and in his will it's

41:17going to have to be going through these
41:19tests and these trials now I'm left with
41:22the decision I'm in your wheel I lost my
41:24job how in God's name am I going to make
41:27get in Florida I have no job they're
41:29offered me a job in California but God
41:32says don't
41:34go and I stayed and it's been a rough 8
41:38Months 8 months no job to the point
41:43where a guy who had a nice career found
41:47himself working as a bag man at
41:54Windixie I was at the end of the line of
41:57wind Dickie that when you check out I
41:59was the guy bagging your
42:04grocery sometimes when you're in the
42:06will of God he will humble
42:12you woo glory to God I love it I love it
42:15I love it I love it I love
42:18it how could this be the will of God had
42:23my good job making good money
42:27nothing wrong with when Dixie working as
42:30a grocery uh attendant there's nothing
42:32wrong with
42:34that but I'm saying God how could this
42:37be and I
42:40stayed I went through all kinds of stuff
42:43ended up at North Broad Medical Center
42:46working there for almost 9 and A2 Years
42:50hated every single
42:53day working at North brow and I'm
42:55talking to somebody today you show up to
42:57work every day and you hate
43:00it you better stay where God has planted
43:07you I hated
43:11it I had no idea that the job I
43:16hated God was using it to train me to
43:20become a leader of a
43:23[Applause]

43:25church you may not I know what God is
43:29[Applause]
43:31doing but that job trained me sent me to
43:34all kinds of management training I would
43:37have not been the pastor I am
43:39today had I not stayed in my desert had
43:42I not stayed in the
43:46wilderness and because I stayed in
43:49Florida on this 23rd day of June I'm on
43:53this stage preaching to you and the
43:55world
43:58because I
44:03stayed God please help me today cuz
44:05somebody's about to move out of their
44:07position and it's the biggest mistake
44:09you will ever make I don't know who this

44:19today do not move from where God has
44:23planted you
44:28cuz you going to miss

45:05with confidence man you ought to live

45:08confidence wherever God has planted you
45:11you stay right there don't you give
45:13up I'm telling you I've lived this
45:17thing he has structured me and molded me
45:21in the man that I am today cuz I've been
45:23through hell and
45:25back so don't let any but tell you that
45:29your struggles won't result in good
45:31things don't let anybody look down on
45:34you and don't feel
45:36inferior just because you're going
45:38through some stuff hear God and once God
45:41speaks like
45:42today it may not be for everybody but I
45:46know God spoke to somebody today this
45:49sermon will save your life from
45:54disaster stop being a flip

46:04job stop it stop running from
46:08relationship to

46:14it you can only gain in life if you
46:20stay where God plant
46:22you you stay there
46:27I've been in Florida now 39 going 40
46:30years and I've never regretted
46:33it never regreted it cuz it was his will
46:37that the buzzers come oh
46:40absolutely years ago there's a church in
46:43Atlanta Pastor died our little church in
46:47Plantation where we were at the time
46:49wasn't doing so well financially we were
46:52growing oh a whole lot of people coming
46:55yeah our church is exploded financially
46:58wasn't doing well this church died this
47:00pastor died and they called me and
47:03offered me a
47:05package
47:08what
47:09what to be honest with you when they
47:12offered me I'm going I'm leaving Florida
47:16bye but the thing is I always
47:21pray cuz it's a dangerous thing to live
47:23out of the will of
47:24God and when I went to God God said
47:27don't you
47:29go don't you
47:31go don't you
47:34go
47:38cuz salt and sugar look the
47:41[Applause]
47:48same but they have two different

47:53tastes two different
47:55tastes I didn't go and I stayed wow wow
47:58and look at me today wow a university a
48:03well-known
48:05University brought me and I ain't lying
48:09my security guy was with me we went
48:12there they were recruiting me their
48:14president they removed the president and
48:17they were recruiting me they had a
48:19national
48:20search and majority of the people say
48:23you need to get that guy
48:25Fernandez he started his own
48:28University he'll be a good man for this
48:32school and they recruited me flew me
48:36up and when I tell you the P they gave

48:44what I'm like man all I have to do is do
48:48this for five years cuz I'm bargain with
48:51God if I do this for 5 years I do it and
48:53then I can go back to Florida
48:57I seriously was considering it until
49:01they told me if you take the cuz I mean
49:05I was ready to sign but the only way
49:07we'll give you the job is you cannot be
49:10a pastor of a
49:13church true
49:16story I prayed about
49:18it and I know God said I sent you to
49:23Florida I sent you to Florida
49:27I lost a lot of money but I sent you to
49:30Florida some of you are gullible to the
49:33enemy's
49:37trap when money is thrown at
49:40you you're quick to grab
49:43it not looking at the ultimate
49:47cost so when I tell you I'm in his
49:52will the safest place to be
49:56is in the will of
50:03God lift your hands lift your hands I
50:06want to pray with you this morning those
50:08of you are streaming I don't know if you
50:10got anything out of this
50:11message but I want to pray with you
50:13father I thank you for the hands that
50:15are lifted

50:20morning that they will not walk out of

50:34them but yet the enemy has
50:38whispered so many things to them to make

50:47move God I pray today that they'll see

51:05God and God if you have
51:08spoken then all they need to do is to

51:40to be tested it's okay to be challenged
51:42but they're going to stay in your will

51:49stay in your will and we give you all

51:53it God I pray if there's any person
51:56today who don't know you as Lord and
51:58Savior that they'll make that decision
