0:01I want to come to you this morning
0:06uh from the book of um Mark Mark's
0:11gospel chapter 4 from verse vers 35 to
0:1741
0:19on this new series
0:22unshakable.
0:24My subject today is unshaken in the
0:27storm.
0:29unshaken in the storm. I'm going to go a
0:32little bit old school this morning. If
0:34those of you who can remember this is
0:36how we used to do church. I'm going to
0:39ask Pastor Larry. He's going to read the
0:42text for us this morning. And that's
0:44that's old school, you know, and so
0:47forth. So read.
0:50>> On that day, when evening had come, he
0:53said to them, "Let us go across to the
0:56other side."
0:58And leaving the crowd, they took him
0:59with them in the boat just as he was.
1:03And other boats were with him. And a
1:06great windstorm arose, and the waves
1:08were breaking into the boat, so that the
1:10boat was already filling.
1:12But he was in the stern, asleep on the
1:15cushion. And they woke him and said to
1:17him, "Teacher, do you not care that we
1:20are perishing?" And he awoke and rebuked
1:23the wind and said to the sea, "Peace,
1:26be still."
1:28And the wind ceased. And there was a
1:30great calm. He said to them, "Why are
1:34you so afraid? Have you still no faith?"
1:38And they were filled with great fear and
1:40said one to another, "Who then is this
1:43that even the wind and the sea obey
1:46him?"
1:47Father, this morning we thank you for
1:49the words that we will hear.
1:52Touch the hearts of your people that
1:54they will receive in Jesus name. Amen.
1:58Come on, let's give the Lord a hand the
1:59praise and you may be seated in the
2:03presence of the Lord.
2:06If you've been paying attention
2:09to what's happening,
2:11not just in the United States, but
2:14around the world,
2:16you would have noticed that people are
2:19having more conversations
2:22about God,
2:24faith, and suffering.
2:27People are talking about God. Who is
2:30God? Does he exist? People are talking
2:34about faith.
2:37Is faith relevant still in modern day?
2:42And then the sufferings of our world.
2:44Some people are struggling to accept the
2:47fact that if there is a God who's
2:49sovereign,
2:51why is he allowing people to suffer?
2:56People are asking questions. If God is
2:59real, why would he allow certain things
3:02to happen? Especially,
3:05why would he allow bad things to happen
3:09to good people? But the truth is many of
3:12these questions are based on false
3:16expectations
3:18about life.
3:21Somehow people have come to believe that
3:25following God means a life free of pain,
3:31free of pain, problems or pressure.
3:35And so yet the Bible clearly tells us in
3:40Job 14 verse 1, a man who is born of a
3:46woman is only in the earth for a short
3:51time and his days are full of trouble.
3:56So in other words, no one escape the
3:58storms of life.
4:01a man, any man who is born of a woman,
4:06you're here on the earth for a short
4:07time. That is why it is so important for
4:12you to redeem the time. Every day, God
4:15gives you the opportunity to be alive.
4:19Take inventory of your life. Check what
4:22you're doing. Check how you're living.
4:25Cuz you're here for a short period of
4:29time. I get it. Some of us are living as
4:32if we're GOING TO BE HERE FOREVER.
4:35And so we're ignoring the fact that that
4:39one day death will snatch us from this
4:43earth. Whether you're a follower of
4:45Jesus Christ or someone still living
4:48according to the culture of the world,
4:50life have its challenges.
4:53The key difference between kingdom
4:56people and the kingdom of the world is
4:59how we handle those problems.
5:03They panic.
5:05They look to other resources or sources
5:08to gain strength and wisdom. But we look
5:11to our God. David said, "I would look to
5:13the hills from whence cometh my help."
5:16And so, ladies and gentlemen, there are
5:18five important things I want us to take
5:22from the passage that was just read.
5:25That number one,
5:27we need to accept that life will have
5:30storms.
5:32Let's just settle that right now. Life
5:35will present storms before us. Storms
5:39are not punishment. They are processes.
5:43Wow.
5:44>> So, for those of us who get mad at God,
5:46why is God allowing this in my life? Why
5:49did God allow that to happen to Jamaica?
5:52Why did God allow that to happen to my
5:54family member? Why did God allow death
5:57to snatch my loved one away from me?
6:01Storms are not punishment.
6:06They are processes.
6:08They refine your faith, shape your
6:12character, and reveal what's really in
6:16your heart.
6:18The problems of life will ultimately
6:21reveal what's in your heart.
6:24You see, the moment you accept that both
6:26good days and difficult days will come,
6:29that's the moment you will begin to live
6:32your life intentionally
6:35embracing every season that God allows.
6:40Every season that he allows, the bitter,
6:43the sweet, the comfortable, the
6:46uncomfortable seasons in your life. So
6:49stop asking why me and start asking Lord
6:55what are you teaching me through
6:58this storm
7:01>> your life will be a at a whole another
7:03level if you JUST STOP COMPLAINING GOD
7:06WHY ME WHY AM I SUFFERING why am I going
7:09through these things you should be
7:12asking God what's the lesson in this
7:15>> what are you trying to do to me how are
7:17you trying to mature me to the storm
7:20doesn't mean God has left you. And I
7:23want you to hear this. Just because
7:26you're going through a storm, it doesn't
7:28mean that God has left you. In Mark,
7:30Mark's Gospel chapter 4, in those verses
7:33we just read, Jesus told his disciples,
7:37now pay attention to this, he said,
7:39"Let's go over to the other side." That
7:44means before the storm ever came, there
7:48was already a destination in mind.
7:52>> He said, "Let's go on the other side."
7:54And yes, there was a storm in the
7:56process of going over to the other side,
8:00but you have to know that God knows the
8:01end from the beginning. So, I get it.
8:03Maybe in your season right now, in the
8:06process of you going to where God wants
8:09to take you, there's a storm in your
8:12life. But do not pay attention to the
8:14storm and allow it to rob you of your
8:18focus to the destination.
8:22>> You're going somewhere.
8:24>> You see, you need to understand that the
8:28storm will come in your life and they
8:30will always be there. But God has a
8:34destination in mind for you. So if God
8:37has already predestined your purpose,
8:41then no storm can stop you.
8:44I don't know who I'm talking to today. I
8:46get it. I understand you're going
8:49through and you don't like it and it's
8:50uncomfortable. But if God already spoke
8:53a word in your life, I'm telling you, no
8:56storm can stop what God has spoken over
9:00your life. [applause]
9:04So while they were crossing the sea, a
9:06fierce storm arose. The Bible says the
9:10disciples, they panicked like us, but
9:13Jesus was asleep and to them his rest
9:18looked like he was insensitive to their
9:21current situation.
9:23How many of you feel as if God is
9:24insensitive to your situation?
9:28How could How could you be silent
9:31when I'm going through a storm?
9:34How could you be silent
9:36when you see stuff been taken away from
9:39me? How could you be silent when my
9:42relationship is in turmoil? How could
9:45you be silent when my house has been
9:48divided? When my finances are acting
9:51funny? How could you be silent? So they
9:55said to Jesus, "Master, don't you care
9:58that we are perishing?"
10:01Look where their focus was on the storm.
10:06And I'm going to tell you today, if you
10:08keep focusing on what's attacking you,
10:13>> you will miss the destiny where God is
10:16taking you.
10:19If you keep focusing on why am I going
10:22through these things, you're going to
10:24miss the blessings and the maturity and
10:26the development that God's trying to get
10:30to you. Jesus wasn't ignoring the
10:33disciples.
10:35He wasn't ignoring their concerns.
10:38He was disregarding every threat that
10:42rose against them. Why? knowing that
10:47nothing could overturn his word.
10:52>> Nothing can overturn the word of God
10:55over your life.
10:57>> And you have to believe that the the
10:59moment you believe that nothing that the
11:02devil does can overturn or override the
11:06word of God over your life. I'm telling
11:08you, YOU WON'T STRESS YOURSELF ABOUT
11:10THINGS ANYMORE.
11:13>> Cuz the devil cannot touch you unless
11:15God permits him.
11:19>> Woo! Somebody ought to give God praise
11:22right there, man.
11:24You see, Jesus was teaching his
11:27disciples, and he's teaching us today,
11:29that when your life is rooted in faith,
11:33you can rest even when the winds are
11:36raging.
11:38And I don't know who this is for,
11:41but even though the winds are raging in
11:44your life, if you put your faith in
11:47Jesus Christ, all things will work out
11:50for your good.
11:52Everything is going to work out for your
11:54good. Number three, faith gives you
11:58authority to speak to the storm.
12:02>> And this is where I get a little bit
12:03excited this morning. Faith gives you
12:06the authority to speak to the storm.
12:09Some of you, you're too silent. You're
12:11sitting there and you're taking a
12:14beating and you're not saying anything.
12:16Listen, you've got power in your words.
12:22You got power in your words. He
12:25confronted Jesus confronted the storm.
12:28He spoke up to the stormer and he spoke
12:31to the storm. And he didn't argue with
12:33the storm. He spoke these simple words,
12:36"Peace be still." He confronted what was
12:40threatening them with divine authority
12:44and immediately the storm obeyed.
12:47Listen, you have authority to speak to
12:49the issues of life.
12:52Am I talking to anybody here this
12:54morning? I said you have authority to
12:57speak to the issues of life. Don't just
13:00sit there and take everything that
13:02life's throwing at you. Stand up like a
13:05woman. Stand up like a man and tell the
13:08devil, "I'm not taking this like that. I
13:11know who I am. I'm a child of the most
13:14high God, and God has covered me, and no
13:17weapon formed against ME WILL EVER
13:19PROSPER. I'M God's man. I'm God's woman.
13:23GOD'S GOT ME COVERED." AM I TALKING TO
13:25ANYBODY IN the room here today?
13:29You got to learn to speak up. PEACE BE
13:31STILL. CHAOS IN YOUR HOME, PEACE be
13:34still. CHAOS ON THE JOB, peace be still.
13:37WHEREVER YOU GO AND THERE'S CHAOS, YOU
13:40OPEN YOUR MOUTH. I COMMAND STILLNESS. I
13:44COMMAND THE SPIRIT OF CALMNESS IN this
13:46environment right now. Somebody ought to
13:48give God praise in the house.
13:55See, that's the power of a faithfilled
13:57life.
13:59>> It doesn't panic. It proclaims the word
14:03of God.
14:05>> AND I'M HERE TODAY TO TELL YOU, STOP
14:08ALLOWING YOURSELF TO PANIC over the
14:10issues of life. Proclaim the word of
14:13God.
14:15>> You're covered from your head to your
14:17toe. You are blessed. I don't care what
14:20you're going through right now. YOU ARE
14:22BLESSED. TWO PENNIES IN YOUR POCKET OR
14:24NO MONEY IN YOUR POCKET. YOU ARE
14:26BLESSED. What you ARE GOING THROUGH
14:28RIGHT NOW IS A temporary situation.
14:33Oh my goodness. My goodness. I said WHAT
14:36YOU ARE GOING THROUGH RIGHT NOW IS A
14:38temporary situation.
14:40You're blessed.
14:42Proverbs 18:21 reminds us that death and
14:46life are in the power of the tongue. Now
14:51Jabian said, "Be careful what you're
14:52saying.
14:54Careful what you're saying. Careful what
14:56you're saying." When you walk in an
14:58environment, don't you repeat what you
15:01see in the natural. You call those
15:03things that you are that you don't see.
15:06Call those things that are not. You walk
15:08in your children's room. I don't care
15:10HOW BAD YOUR KIDS ARE. AND YOU WALK IN
15:13THAT room and say, "My children, glory
15:15to God, we live to declare the glory of
15:19God. They are blessed. They're anointed.
15:22Glory to God. You declare over your
15:24spouse, "My man is a mighty man of God.
15:28He's a man of valor." YOU SPEAK OVER
15:31YOUR WIFE. SHE'S A virtuous woman. She's
15:34a blessed woman. YOU GO TO THAT
15:36WORKPLACE AND YOU SPEAK TO THAT
15:38BUSINESS, MY BUSINESS will prosper.
15:43Use your words and speak life.
15:48You speak life.
15:50You don't walk into that environment and
15:53speak what you see. Well, I guess today
15:55is going to be a bad day. Oh, the devil
15:57is a liar. This is the day
16:01that the Lord has made. I don't care
16:04what's happening around me. I, Henry
16:06Fernandez, HAVE MADE A DECISION TO
16:09REJOICE AND BE glad in the day. SOMEBODY
16:13GIVE GOD A PRAISE IN THE HOUSE TODAY.
16:19You have power
16:22in your tongue.
16:24>> Jesus
16:26could
16:29have argued with the storm.
16:32And if he could have spoken to the
16:35storm, then we who are followers of
16:38Jesus Christ, we too have the right to
16:41speak to our circumstances.
16:44faith in authority.
16:47So I challenge you as you leave today,
16:49as you log off today, let it be the last
16:52day you speak defeat out of your mouth.
17:00Oh, I felt that one. I felt that one.
17:04Let it be the last day you get up, be
17:06negative.
17:08Shake that negativity off.
17:11and you get up every day and say, "I'm
17:13going to conquer whatever God allows in
17:16my life. I'm going to walk every day and
17:19I'm going to say, surely goodness and
17:22mercy will follow me all the days of my
17:26life. I cancel debt right now. I cancel
17:30depression right now. Goodness is going
17:33to follow me on Monday. Goodness is
17:35going to follow me on Tuesday,
17:37Wednesday, THURSDAY, FRIDAY, EVERY DAY
17:40OF MY LIFE. GOODNESS IS GOING TO FOLLOW
17:43ME.
17:46You open your mouth and speak life.
17:50Speak life to your situation. You know
17:52what you're going through. In the middle
17:54of a storm, learn to speak life.
17:58>> Don't talk about, "Wo my goodness, look
18:00at the wind. Look at the lightning. Look
18:02at the thunder. LOOK AT THE WAVES. LOOK
18:04AT THE RAIN. STOP TALKING ABOUT WHAT YOU
18:07SEE. STOP TALKING ABOUT I'm broke. STOP
18:10TALKING ABOUT MY KIDS ARE BAD. STOP
18:13TALKING ABOUT I GOT A BAD MARRIAGE.
18:16SWITCH ON THE DEVIL AND START SPEAKING
18:18LIFE.
18:20Speak life.
18:23Oh, I wish somebody would tell your
18:24neighbor, "Speak life. Speak life. Speak
18:27life."
18:29Number four,
18:31>> rest
18:33is a sign of faith
18:36>> and not weakness.
18:39Some people will look at you and and
18:41say, "How is he so calm?"
18:45How is she so calm? All hell is in our
18:50life and the devil is doing all kinds of
18:52stuff. Folks lying ON YOU, FOLKS JUDGING
18:56YOU. How is he so calm? Cuz you don't
19:00understand. In the middle of the storm,
19:03I got a friend who sticks closer than a
19:07brother.
19:08Oh my goodness. IN THE FIRE WITH
19:12SHADRACH, MACH, AND ABEDNEO.
19:14I got the fourth person, and his name is
19:18Jesus.
19:20His name is Jesus. HE'S WALKING WITH ME
19:23THROUGH THE FIRE. GLORY TO GOD. YAY,
19:27THOUGH I WALK THROUGH THE VALLEY OF THE
19:29SHADOW OF DEATH, I'M NOT GOING TO FEAR
19:32NO EVIL CUZ I GOT THE FOURTH MAN IN THE
19:35FIRE WITH ME.
19:38GLORY TO GOD. HALLELUJAH.
19:42He's in the storm with me. He's in the
19:44storm with me. WOULD YOU HIT THREE
19:46PEOPLE AND TELL THEM HE'S IN THE storm
19:48with me? He's never going to leave me
19:51nor forsake me. He's in the storm with
19:54me. HE'S BEEN MY SHELTER. AH, HE'S BEEN
19:58MY SHELTER. HE KEEPS ME CALM BECAUSE IN
20:02THE MIDDLE OF THE STORM WITH ME,
20:09Jesus was not asleep
20:12because he didn't care.
20:15He was asleep because he trusted his
20:18father's plan.
20:20And I just stopped by to tell people,
20:22WHEN YOU TRUST THE PLAN OF GOD OVER YOUR
20:24LIFE, you'll be at peace.
20:27>> You go and sleep when there's chaos.
20:32OH, I CHALLENGE YOU to go home today and
20:35go to bed and sleep.
20:38CUZ GOD'S GOT IT all
20:41under control. Oh my God. Oh, I wish I
20:46had a praying people in the church
20:48today.
20:49So I'm encourage all of you today. I'm
20:52encouraging all of you today to rest in
20:56the language of faith.
20:58>> Faith that says no matter
21:01>> the issues confronting me,
21:04>> peace.
21:07>> Be still.
21:09>> I hear it in the atmosphere.
21:12>> That's going to be louder than the
21:14chaos.
21:15Peace
21:17>> be still. Somebody shout it out. Peace
21:21be still. Come on, say it again.
21:24>> Peace.
21:25>> One more time. Say it again.
21:29>> Because you see when you trust God
21:32completely,
21:34>> you stop fighting
21:36what only he can fix.
21:42Oh, that's a good one right there.
21:45WHEN YOU TRUST GOD, YOU STOP FIGHTING
21:48what only he CAN FIX. FAITH ALLOWS YOU
21:53to rest while others panic. Faith allows
21:57you to sleep while the winds roar. Faith
22:01allows you to smile when the storm still
22:04rages because you know this too.
22:11The storm is passing. I said this,
22:14whatever you're going through, it is not
22:17permanent. Don't let the devil trick you
22:20to think it will be there forever in
22:22your life.
22:24And finally, number five, your faith has
22:29been strengthened,
22:31>> not shaken.
22:34>> When you're in a storm,
22:36>> IF YOU DO THE RIGHT THING,
22:38>> your faith won't be shaken.
22:40>> Instead, it will be strengthened. Storm
22:43doesn't come to destroy you.
22:45>> Amen.
22:45>> They come to develop you.
22:49>> Every trial, EVERY TEST, EVERY
22:51UNEXPECTED storm is an opportunity for
22:55your faith to mature.
22:59>> I THANK GOD FOR THE MOUNTAIN.
23:02>> I THANK GOD FOR THE VALLEY.
23:04>> I THANK GOD FOR THE STORMS, CHECK THIS
23:08OUT, THAT HE BROUGHT ME THROUGH. CUZ I'm
23:10going through it, baby. I I DON'T CARE
23:13WHAT THE devil throw at me. I'm not
23:16GOING TO REMAIN PERMANENT IN THE STORM.
23:18I'm going through the storm. AND I'M
23:21TELLING SOMEBODY TODAY, YOU ARE GOING
23:23THROUGH THE STORM.
23:27SO, you will never know God's peace
23:30>> until you have faced
23:32>> life's chaos.
23:35You will never know God's power
23:38until you have stood in the storm
23:42>> and watch him calm the storm.
23:45>> So, here's my faith declaration I'd like
23:48to read and then I'm going to ask every
23:50one of you if you're ready
23:54to have peace in the storm. I'm not
23:56prophesying and telling you your storm
23:58is going to go away today.
24:02>> Cuz Jesus never told them the storm was
24:05going to go away.
24:07He he he told them, "Let's go to the
24:10other side."
24:12>> And while going to the other side, a
24:15storm developed
24:17>> and he allowed the storm to continue for
24:19a while. He went to sleep
24:22>> and at the appropriate time he spoke to
24:25the storm.
24:27>> So I'm telling you today, whatever storm
24:30you're going through, you got to go
24:33through the process. But I believe that
24:35you have now entered into a season where
24:38it's time to speak up.
24:42>> This is not a time to be silent. I don't
24:45know who this is for. This is not a time
24:48to be silent. It's time you start
24:51talking to what's messing with you.
24:54It's time you START SPEAKING TO WHAT HAS
24:58CONFRONTED YOU. Speak to the storm. So,
25:01here's what I want you to declare. I'm
25:02going to say it first and then I'm going
25:04to give you a chance to say it. I want
25:06you to say, "I REFUSE TO BE SHAKEN. I
25:09will not be moved by what I feel or what
25:12I see. My faith is anchored in Jesus
25:15Christ. No storm will BREAK ME. NO TRIAL
25:19WILL DEFEAT ME AND no season will define
25:22me. I am unshaken,
25:25unbroken, unstoppable. In whose name? In
25:30Jesus name. Are you ready to say it now?
25:32Come on, SHOUT IT OUT EVERYBODY. I
25:35REFUSE to be shaken. COME ON, SAY IT.
25:42Jesus Christen.
25:55>> No, that was just a rehearsal. That was
25:58just a rehearsal. You didn't do justice
26:00to that. That was just a rehearsal. I
26:03want everybody who's got a voice, I want
26:06you to shout it out. Now, we got to do
26:08this together. I know many of you can
26:09read better than some of us. So you got
26:11to slow down. So for for us slow ones to
26:14follow, right? But I want you to shout.
26:16We're speaking it into the atmosphere.
26:19>> We are saying we refuse to be shaken.
26:24You can't mess with a faith center. Ike.
26:29[cheering]
26:31We're a fake nation.
26:34We walk by faith, not by sight. And
26:37we're not going to be shaken. Are you
26:39ready? 1 2 3. GO FOR IT.
26:53I will be
26:58my broken.
27:07>> Now listen,
27:10remain on your seat. Remain standing I
27:12should say. Remain standing.
27:15So I want to challenge you today.
27:19I want to challenge all of you who are
27:21on campus and those of you are
27:23streaming.
27:25Rest in what God
27:29allowed.
27:32Rest in what he has allowed.
27:38>> Rest.
27:41Stop getting angry.
27:44>> Stop getting frustrated.
27:48Stop allowing yourself to panic.
27:52>> Rest
27:54>> in what God has allowed.
27:58>> Don't be consumed by the noise
28:02>> of the storm.
28:05>> The same Jesus
28:07>> who was in that boat with the disciples
28:11>> is in your life today declaring
28:15>> peace.
28:17be still.
28:19>> So whatever you are going through right
28:23now,
28:24remember
28:26never
28:27>> and when I say never, never allow
28:31>> yourself to be shaken,
28:34>> not now
28:36>> nor.
28:41>> Never.
28:43Somebody shout never.
28:45>> Never. Shout it again. Never.
28:48>> Never allow yourself to be shaken.
28:54>> Not today.
28:56>> Not tomorrow.
29:00>> You got more in you.
29:02>> Than what you think.
29:05>> Thank you, Jesus. And as pastor of this
29:08church,
29:09>> I swear with my life,
29:12>> I'm not going to stand by
29:14>> and watch the devil mess with you and me
29:18not say anything about it.
29:24[applause]
29:26>> Because I know the greater one
29:29>> lives on the inside of you
29:32>> and your future is already planned. For
29:35I know the plans I have for you,
29:40says the Lord.
29:42PLANS OF GOOD, NOT OF EVIL. PLANS TO
29:46PROSPER YOU AND TO GIVE YOU A GOOD
29:50OUTCOME. THAT'S THE PLAN OF GOD FOR YOUR
29:53LIFE.
29:55>> SO, as you're in this auditorium and
29:56you're streaming,
29:59>> this is how I want to close the service
30:01today. Jesus,
30:03>> I believe there's some men. I am
30:04speaking to men right now. I don't want
30:06any woman to move right now.
30:09>> But God sent me here for you, brothers.
30:13>> You've been paying attention to the
30:15noise.
30:17>> You've been screaming
30:19and you've been panicking over the
30:21storm.
30:23But if this message was for you and
30:25you're a male in this house today

33:03And you wonder why our society is jacked

33:10Because when the head is struggling,

33:18morning. When the head is struggling,
33:22>> it affects the [music] entire family.
33:27And God sent this message today to tell
33:30you, don't you be shaken
33:33>> by the storm.
33:37>> You got to know who you are, man.
33:39>> You got to know that you're a man of
33:41God.
33:44>> And you're no different from the bishop.
33:46Everybody got storms to deal with.
33:50>> The challenge is how you going to fight
33:51it. Yeah,
33:53>> you going to go to your homies and let
33:56them give you suggestions and ideas.
33:59>> You don't go to jack the people to find
34:01out how you can unjack yourself.

34:12instructions of the sermon today,

35:06something. They'll kill you for their

35:14They'll kill you and tell God you died.
35:22Why am I saying that? If you can muscle
35:25up that kind of tenacity
35:29and say, "I'm not going to let this
35:31addiction
35:34control me.
35:36I'm not going to let that mindset
35:38control me. I'm not going to let my past
35:42control me.
35:43>> You see what church people will do, I
35:46hate to say there even people in the
35:47audience here, people streaming, they
35:50are quick to always judge you of your
35:52past.
35:54>> But look what you did. Look what you
35:56did. Look what you did. Cuz all they
35:59remember, watch this, all they remember
36:01is the struggles of the past.
36:04But if you focus on where God has taken
36:07you,
36:08>> know that you're called, you're gifted,
36:10you're anointed,
36:12>> that no matter what people have spoken
36:14over your life, that you are an anointed
36:18man of God.
36:26So before I pray with you, and I'm going
36:28to ask the women to do the again,
36:30ladies, I I just don't want you to feel
36:32like you're left out.
36:34Your your your day is going to come.
36:37Your day is going to come.
36:39>> So I want you to join me in prayer, man.
36:44>> I want to pray for the men
36:47because I'm telling you today, the storm
36:50may not go away. It's not permanent. I
36:52don't know when God will let it go away,
36:56but follow those five principles I've
36:58given you today.

37:03Just chill.
37:05>> Just rest.
37:08>> You're struggling in whatever area,
37:09chill.
37:12>> Don't make quick decisions.
37:14>> Some of my greatest successes in life is
37:18because I waited things out.
37:23Some of you think you have to attack
37:25things, right? No. Sometimes just step
37:26back
37:28>> and watch God work it out.
37:31>> That's it.
37:34When the enemy comes in like a flood,
37:36>> the spirit of the Lord would lift up a
37:38standard
37:40>> against that enemy. So, brothers, I'm
37:43telling you today, this message was for
37:46you.
37:49>> Was for you. And it's about time
37:52you be still in whatever struggles
37:55you're going through. I want every man
37:57standing in the aisle or here, lift both
38:00hands. Ladies, now would you stretch
38:03your hands towards them?
38:06And I know many of your intercessors,
38:08many of you are streaming. We're praying
38:09for the men who are streaming. I want to
38:12pray for you right now. And ladies, I
38:14want you to join in with me. Don't just
38:16depend on me to pray alone. I want you
38:18to begin to pray for these men.
38:20Especially if you got a boyfriend up
38:22here or a husband up here. I want you to
38:25pray. Let's all pray right now. Father,
38:27as these men lift their hands,
38:31whatever storms they're in today, I pray
38:35in the mighty name of Jesus that they'll
38:38never ever feel as if they're left alone
38:41in the middle of the storm, but you've
38:44abandoned them. I pray that they'll
38:46understand that the storm is not there
38:49to overtake them, to destroy them, but
38:52in the name of Jesus, Father, you've
38:54allowed the storm for a reason. Whatever
38:56those challenges are, you are strong
38:59enough to bring them through it. God, I
39:02pray for strength. I pray for wisdom. I
39:05pray that you will give them the right
39:07people, the right support system around
39:10them so that they can get their thoughts
39:12right. they can start thinking positive
39:15thoughts in the name of Jesus. All the
39:18influences that are not good for them, I
39:20pray that they will cut it off in the
39:23name of Jesus. I pray God that you'll
39:25raise up mighty men from these men. I
39:28pray that God husbands will be
39:30transformed. Men will be transformed.
39:33They'll be be leaders God and they'll be
39:36the ones who are leading their families.
39:39May you bless them. Give them the
39:40strength. those that are suicidal in the
39:43name of Jesus. I cancel those thoughts
39:46right now in Jesus' name. And I pray
39:49that the power of the Holy Spirit will
39:51arrest them right now. And that the
39:54faith center men, these men, these men,
39:57these men will live to glorify your
40:00name. These men will develop. Their
40:03faith will be developed. Why? Because
40:05they withtood the storms of life in the
40:08name of Jesus. Heal them. I pray in
40:11every area of their lives. Heal them in
40:14the name of [music] Jesus. From the
40:15crown of their head to the soles of
40:17their feet, heal them in their minds,
40:18their thoughts, and the words they
40:20speak. I thank you for doing it now. I
40:23thank you for doing it now. Thank you
40:25for these women standing with them and
40:27praying them through. I thank you that
40:29their words will encourage them in the
40:32name of Jesus. We even pray for those
40:34who are streaming, all the men who are
40:36streaming, the women. Father, in the
40:38name of Jesus, may you forever bless and
40:41empower them as we live for your honor
40:44and for your glory. And Father, as we
40:46begin this fast tonight, let your shana
40:49glory, let your power rest upon us. Let
40:52us come out of this fast more powerful
40:55in the mighty name of Jesus. And we give
40:58you all the praise, the honor, and the
41:00glory for hearing us today in Jesus
41:03mighty name. Amen. And amen. Come on,
