0:19I'm going to come to you from the book
0:21of Philippians
0:22chapter 4.
0:25begin that verse 4.
0:28I want you to listen carefully
0:31to the words spoken by the Apostle Paul
0:34here
0:36and hopefully you will allow it to
0:38become
0:39more meaningful to you
0:42like it was written back then
0:44Paul stated he says always
0:48be full
0:50of joy
0:52in the Lord
0:57not in the things that this world has to
1:00offer
1:02it's a so-called joy that will last only
1:05for a while
1:07I say it again
1:10rejoice
1:12let everyone see that you are
1:15considerate in all you do
1:18remember the Lord is coming soon
1:23don't worry about anything
1:26so if you're in the room today
1:28your emotions are all over the place
1:32you're worrying about things the
1:35concerns tomorrow
1:37Paul says instead pray about everything
1:43tell God what you need
1:46and watch this this blew my mind
1:49tell God what you need
1:52but
1:53thank him
1:55for all
1:57he has done
1:59while you're waiting for something to
2:02happen
2:03thank him for what's evident he's been
2:05good

2:09then you will experience God's peace
2:12which exceeds anything we can understand

2:50my challenge to you this morning is to
2:52rejoice
2:54while waiting
2:57Rejoice while waiting would you say it
3:00with me Rejoice while waiting come on
3:04let's do it again rejoice
3:07while weighed in
3:09so Paul says always be full of joy in
3:13the Lord
3:14not in the things of the world but
3:17rejoice in the things
3:20that's in the Lord your strength your
3:23provision
3:24knowing that he will work it all out for
3:27your good rejoice in the Lord you and I
3:30must understand that life is a mixture
3:33of good and bad
3:35don't ever forget that life is a mixture
3:39of good and bad it is a combination of
3:44positive and negative experiences
3:48I wish today I could keep it all
3:52positive in a sense where everybody's
3:55happy everybody is doing well in your
3:57personal life physically you're feeling
3:59well I wish I could stand here and
4:02pretend that everybody is having a
4:05wonderful time especially on this day
4:07Mother's Day
4:09but that's not a reality that's not true
4:12there are people who are streaming and
4:14there are people in this room right now
4:16you're heartbroken
4:18it could be as a result of of the
4:21emotional drama that comes with this day
4:25maybe you're a woman without child maybe
4:27you've lost your child
4:29maybe your kids have disrespected you
4:32and maybe you haven't yet to receive a
4:34call from that daughter from that son to
4:37wish you happy Mother's Day
4:39the emotions are strong in this room the
4:42emotions are strong with those of you
4:44who are streaming but life is a
4:47combination of positive things and
4:50negative things
4:51and regardless of who you are every day
4:55you're faced with the two sides of life
5:00every day there are two sides of life
5:04the joyful moments and memories
5:08and there's a second side the painful
5:11moments and memories
5:13joyful moments and memories alike The
5:16Day You Found Love
5:19do you remember that
5:21the day you found the love of your life
5:25the day you looked that person in the
5:28eye
5:29and you felt all the love energy you
5:34thought you were going to live happily
5:35ever after
5:37joyful and moments and and memories like
5:41the day you got married
5:44remember that
5:45for those of you are married remember
5:47that day when you got engaged and you
5:50planned the wedding and all of a sudden
5:52you know Here Comes The Wedding Date and
5:55there's a man the groom you're standing
5:57and and whether it's by the beach
5:59whether it's in a courtroom or whether
6:01it's in this church Sanctuary you stood
6:03there all you know looking good and the
6:07woman you coming down with your wedding
6:10gown most women has to dream of your
6:13life to enter into an atmosphere
6:17with your wedding dress on those are
6:20happy moments and memories
6:22what about giving birth to your babies
6:25those are happy moments happy memories
6:28now on Mother's Day your kids are grown
6:30the memories of holding your baby
6:33breastfeeding your baby and teaching
6:35your baby how to walk and going to the
6:38practices with your baby those are happy
6:40joyful moments and memories
6:44what about the day you graduated from
6:46college
6:48you did it you earned that degree a lot
6:51of sleepless nights
6:53what about that day when you went to the
6:56doctor's office and you did all the
6:58blood work
6:59and you panicked for days waiting for
7:01the result and when the doctor called
7:04and gave you a clean bill of health
7:07to say your blood work is normal come on
7:10you know how that feels let's tell the
7:12truth we panic when we go to get our
7:16blood test we're just thinking is there
7:19something bad is going to happen those
7:22are happy joyful moments and memories
7:25what about the day you purchase your
7:28phone your first car or home
7:32first car I remember when I purchased my
7:34first car my first car was a Buick an
7:38old Buick car I mean it it was so big
7:42back in them days you remember them old
7:43cars man big and I had a half Row in
7:46them days you know so you can just watch
7:48me just chilling you know driving you
7:51know and so forth I paid listen are you
7:53ready for this
7:54350 dollars
7:58and I was proud that was my first car
8:02remember your first home
8:05joyful
8:06moments memories
8:10and then remember the day
8:13you decided to follow Jesus Christ
8:17what a joy
8:19what a joy I remember as a teenager I
8:21wasn't actually a teenager I was very
8:23young I remember I gave my life to
8:26Christ as a little boy
8:28and it was I remember it as if it was
8:31just yesterday
8:32when I surrendered my life in our youth
8:35fellowship and I gave him my life the
8:38memories are still there
8:40I was fully sold out to God
8:43I was not the young man who partied and
8:46nothing wrong with that
8:48if that's your journey I wasn't my
8:50parents grew Us in church
8:53right and that's all I knew a club and I
8:57don't know nothing I don't know nothing
8:58about cigarettes ganja
9:02joints
9:06sometime I think I need to smoke
9:07something yeah
9:09to level me up
9:12strike that
9:16[Applause]
9:20whoo
9:25I forgot what I was gonna say after that
9:28now y'all threw me off now
9:32but I remember the day I surrendered my
9:35life to Christ
9:36joyful
9:38moments and memories let's talk about
9:41painful moments and memories
9:45like the day you found out
9:47that your love
9:50love of your life betrayed you
9:53hmm
9:55painful
9:57when you discovered
10:00that that person who you trusted
10:03perhaps you decided to date
10:07maybe you said I do
10:10found out that they were unfaithful
10:13they didn't keep their vows
10:16what about
10:17the day you found out
10:20that you had to finally get a divorce
10:25wasn't it painful
10:27when that day came
10:29and you had to finally say
10:32our divorce
10:34is final
10:37you talk to any divorcee and they'll
10:39tell you is like a part of them dies
10:43those are painful moments
10:46because no one walks down their aisle
10:48and spend however amount of years with
10:51an individual thinking that you were
10:54going to end up in a divorce painful
10:56moments
10:58like when your loved one dies
11:01when your children die
11:04when your spouse
11:06when your parents your mother
11:08my mom is not here today
11:12it's painful
11:14when you have to get up
11:16on a day like today
11:19and you can't call
11:21you can't go by
11:23it's tough
11:25that is painful
11:29and we can't deny that
11:31we can sugarcoat it all we want
11:34but it's painful
11:36what about the day you got that bad
11:39doctor's report
11:42you thought everything was fine and here
11:44comes the doctor saying to you hey your
11:46blood work is negative or is positive
11:50those are painful moments
11:53the day you receive the results that you
11:55did not pass
11:57the exam or you didn't meet the
11:59requirement to go to college or to
12:01graduate from college
12:03because we have to face it life is a
12:06mixture of the positive and the negative
12:10what about the day
12:12you had to file for bankruptcy
12:16or perhaps the struggle of managing your
12:19finances
12:21it's painful as you're sitting here
12:24today it's painful you're streaming it's
12:26painful when you watch women
12:30come on stage and receive a thousand
12:33dollars each and you're sitting out
12:35there hey
12:38remember me
12:40I needed to sometimes it's difficult to
12:44rejoice when other people are blessed
12:47when you want what they have
12:51those are painful moments and sadly
12:56what about
12:58you keep procrastinating
13:02when it comes to going all out for Jesus
13:04Christ
13:06painful
13:08painful that every day even as a
13:11spiritual leader
13:12I see people hearing the gospel preach
13:16to them the good news
13:18and they've allowed the enemy to bombard
13:20their minds with ideas
13:23for another day maybe it's not important
13:26today or they'll say to themselves you
13:30know I believe in church I don't believe
13:31in religion we allow the enemy to
13:34bombard us with all kinds of stuff to
13:37put the one who is sustaining us to put
13:41him on delay
13:44painful
13:46it's like a parent when you watch your
13:48child knowing your child has taken the
13:50wrong path knowing that that child is
13:53going to suffer in the end and you sit
13:55there knowing you can't do anything
13:58about it like the prodigals of father
14:01he knew his son was walking out of his
14:04will
14:06yet he allowed him to leave the house
14:09and his son paid for it dearly
14:12it's the same thing God is looking down
14:14from heaven
14:16even in this Auditorium even for those
14:18of you are streaming
14:20and I can just imagine in human form it
14:24is breaking his heart
14:26to know that you are broken you need to
14:29be fixed
14:30you don't all have it together
14:33you don't have real joy in you and to
14:37know that he's offering you life he said
14:40I come that you might have life to the
14:42full until it overflows yet
14:46week after week
14:49you deny him
14:51week after week
14:53you put him on layaway you Embrace more
14:57of the things of the devil
15:00you Embrace more of watch this temporary
15:04pleasure
15:07when he's offering you life
15:10when he's saying to you do not know me
15:13through religion when he's saying to you
15:16don't know me through a preacher don't
15:19know me through Christians
15:22know me through my word
15:26fall in love with me through my word
15:30yet
15:32you keep rejecting him
15:34and then you ask the question
15:37why are you not happy
15:40why are you like these dope addicts that
15:42always have to go get these quick fixes
15:46is because you have rejected him
15:50and you constantly do it every week you
15:54are waiting for miracles you're waiting
15:56for God to do things in your life and
15:58the reason why you're unable to wait
16:01patiently is the joy that you have is
16:05not the joy that God gave you
16:08it is a joy that the world has given you
16:12it's all about temporary fixes my
16:15friends
16:17so let me say to you
16:20that each and every one of us must
16:22understand this
16:24that
16:25we have a common destiny
16:28of a common Destiny and that Destiny is
16:32to overcome the challenges of life
16:36no matter what they are
16:39that's our common destiny
16:41I don't care if you're saved unsaved I
16:44don't care if you're a male female black
16:45white whatever color you are
16:48the common Destiny for all of us
16:53is to overcome life
16:56is to overcome it
16:59that's why I do not like a church that
17:01pretends
17:03I don't want us to come in this room I
17:06don't want us to stream and act like
17:08it's only perfect people who enter these
17:11doors I don't like it
17:13it's not a reality
17:17that's why when we come here our job is
17:20not to beat upon you our job is not to
17:23elevate our status
17:26my role as a leader is not to come here
17:29and make myself look important make
17:31myself look uh that I'm greater than you
17:35my job is not to impress you my job is
17:39to give you hope in Jesus Christ so that
17:42you can make it throughout the week so
17:45that you can make it throughout your
17:47journey in life
17:49if a common destiny
17:51that is how do we overcome life how do
17:54we overcome the bitterness the anger the
17:57chaos the dysfunction that's happening
17:59in our world in government in our homes
18:02in our relationship in parenting in
18:05running a business at the workplace
18:08and even
18:10when it comes to Ministry
18:13how do we fix this
18:15how we deal with the financial struggles
18:17we're going through
18:20how do we deal with low self-esteem
18:23how do we deal with fear
18:26fear
18:28do you know how great you are
18:30do you know that greatness is locked
18:33upon the inside of you and you're so
18:35much better than who you're projecting
18:37now but the fear
18:41I don't want to try that
18:44because we're so concerned about what
18:46people will think
18:48when we fail
18:50not understanding that a part of success
18:54has to do with some failures
18:57you got to fail and keep trying and keep
19:00trying and keep trying until you succeed
19:05so let's stop pretending
19:07let me read finally
19:09Ecclesiastes chapter 9
19:13and here's what we can learn from this
19:16scripture today
19:18it says all share a common Destiny
19:23the righteous and the Wicked the good
19:26and the bad Common destiny
19:29the clean and the unclean those who
19:32suffer offer sacrifices and those who do
19:35not
19:36as it is with the good so with the
19:39sinful as it is with those who take an
19:43oath if you will so it is with those who
19:46are afraid to take them
19:49this is evil in everything that happens
19:55under the sun
19:58everything that happens Under the Sun
20:00there's some sense of evil in it the
20:03same Destiny overtakes us all I don't
20:06care who you are
20:08the same Destiny we are tested every
20:11single day
20:14you're tested today to do right or to do
20:16wrong
20:18you're tested today to sit there and
20:20complain about everything that's wrong
20:23in your life
20:25you're tested today to keep complaining
20:28for the rest of your life you never have
20:30a father who cared about you you're
20:32tested today to say you never had a good
20:35relationship with your mother or you
20:37lost your parents or nobody cares about
20:39you you are tested today to say all
20:42kinds of stuff that happened in your
20:44past and you can live with that speaking
20:46that every single day or you can change
20:50your language
20:55and you can say
20:58that I believe that my great great days
21:01are ahead of me on my best days are
21:03ahead of me I believe that what I have
21:06endured in the past has helped me to be
21:10better in the future I believe that I
21:13will see the goodness of God in my
21:16future days I believe that I carry the
21:18favor of God I believe that I will
21:21succeed I believe that I will find love
21:23again though someone betrayed me broke
21:26my heart I believe I will find love
21:29again I believe that there's a good
21:31woman out there for me I believe there's
21:33a good man out there for me I believe my
21:35children will change and become better I
21:38just believe that my business will
21:40Thrive and succeed I believe that I will
21:43uh you know I have a good job I believe
21:45I'll pass the exam I will finish college
21:47you've got to learn to speak positive
21:50words into your life
21:54you have to do that
21:57it says this is the evil in everything
21:59that happens Under the Sun the same
22:01Destiny overtakes us all the hearts of
22:04people moreover are full of evil and
22:07there's Madness in their hearts while
22:09they live Madness in their hearts and
22:12you and I can attest to that
22:14the hearts of people today are so cold
22:20and sadly
22:22we who are children of God
22:26are demonstrating
22:29some of those same evil
22:32and Madness
22:35Madness
22:37we're supposed to be children of light
22:41why are we
22:44walking in evil
22:46why are we rendering evil for evil
22:49why are we plotting to hurt people
22:52I'm talking people in the Kingdom
22:55why are we using our mouths
22:57to destroy other people's lives
23:00why did we join the gossip Club
23:04why
23:06why do we find it hard to forgive
23:11when we were forgiven
23:15hearts of men and women have gone cold
23:17and full of evil and we've gone crazy
23:22the stupid stuff we do is especially in
23:26the kingdom of God we've lost our joy
23:30we no longer come to church smiling we
23:33no longer read the Bible rejoice and
23:35we're no longer a hopeful people we have
23:38joined the club of of of the Unfaithful
23:42and those people who have no hope
23:47yet we are children of light
23:50this is what the scripture is telling us
23:53full of evil in our hearts and afterward
23:57they joined the Dead
24:00our conduct our Behavior we don't have
24:04joy while we're waiting for our miracle
24:07I get it there's some stuff I'm waiting
24:10for God to do in my life that hasn't
24:12happened yet the question is while
24:14you're waiting for God to do it what's
24:16your attitude
24:19what is your attitude
24:22as a woman as a mother what's your
24:25attitude
24:27are you going to have a positive
24:28attitude about it are you going to be
24:30negative about it because if you don't
24:32have a joyful attitude you're join in
24:35the dead now listen to the latter part
24:37of the scripture this blew my mind
24:39anyone who is among the living has hope
24:43catch this now even a live dog
24:48is better off than a deadline
24:56I don't care how Mighty You Think You
24:58Are
24:59I don't care how impressive you may
25:02carry yourself
25:04your hair is done
25:06you fix yourself up
25:09if there's no joy in you you are just
25:11like a lion that has no power cause
25:14you're dead
25:16you have a form of godliness but you
25:19have no power in you you look cute but
25:22you have no power in you you look like a
25:25lady and you dress like a lady but you
25:28don't act like a lady
25:31[Applause]
25:34because it's better to be like a dog a
25:37little animal
25:39who has to follow instructions
25:41I got two beautiful dogs
25:44come here mocha come here Oreo and
25:46they'll come here
25:48there's love on me
25:51it's better to be a dog that's alive
25:56then this so-called
26:00person that all got it all together
26:03Fierce and try to scare people
26:06intimidate them
26:08because if you're dead
26:11there's no hope
26:14I don't care how small you think your
26:16situation is
26:18if you are alive today
26:28let me leave you with three things you
26:30need to do every day especially when
26:33you're faced with
26:34the negatives of Life are you ready for
26:36them
26:37and then I pray three things I want you
26:39to do
26:41when you're dealing with the negatives
26:43of Life number one don't panic
26:47Don't Panic don't panic when things
26:50start dying around you and may have left
26:53you as a single parent or left you with
26:57a little or no money don't panic
27:00remember in Second Kings
27:03it speaks of a widow
27:06a woman
27:07who was married who had a husband serve
27:11in the prophet Elisha
27:14and finally her husband died
27:16and the Bible says the prophet came to
27:18her
27:19and watched what ladies listen to me
27:23I know a lot of You Are
27:25without a man in your child's life or
27:28left broken by a man
27:31but I'm telling you you can live your
27:34life
27:35complaining and dogging out men
27:39and because you are hurt and won't deal
27:42with your bitterness as a woman I'm
27:44telling you you're not going to get any
27:46further in life if all you're doing is
27:50spitting out Venom over men
27:52they're dogs they're no good I'm so sick
27:56and tired of them they're just like no
27:59deadbeat debt you gotta stop that
28:03stop that
28:05don't do it
28:07change the way you speak
28:10[Applause]
28:11this woman could have complained
28:14he left me
28:16and he left me in a lot of debts
28:19because the story says that when the
28:21prophet Elisha went to her she started
28:24explaining to him I got two sons they're
28:27going to be as collateral because we
28:29have a debt that tells me her husband
28:31left her in debt
28:34the Bible never said that he was a bad
28:37husband
28:38come on now sometimes guys are hustling
28:42and doing the best they can and the
28:44reality is stuff happens
28:48and she didn't know what she was going
28:50to do
28:52and the man of God watch this she see
28:54she didn't panic she went to the servant
28:57of God
28:58and the servant of God said to her I'll
29:00tell you what you need to do you need to
29:02go and borrow a whole lot of vessels in
29:04the community
29:06and here's what I want you to do when
29:07you get the vessels
29:10go inside your house shut the door
29:12and just keep pouring
29:15pouring pour him listen to me
29:18if you ever wake up every day
29:21with a sense of gratitude
29:23and you start rejoicing God will give
29:26you a strategy
29:28listen to me
29:31he'll give you an idea
29:34he made this broke woman who was in debt
29:37raising two children of our own without
29:41a husband
29:43took little so ladies don't tell me the
29:46little that you have
29:48that God can't multiply
29:50she kept pouring kept pouring bottom
29:53line of the story she didn't panic
29:55and when she filled up all of the
29:58containers the Bible says she sold it
30:00watch this had enough money to pay her
30:04debts off and had leftovers
30:07that's the god that you served when you
30:09don't pass
30:10number two
30:12connect with people who will push you
30:15into your greatness
30:17connect with people who will push you
30:20into your greatness in the Book of Luke
30:23chapter one we find here Elizabeth and
30:27Mary the Bible says Elizabeth heard
30:29Mary's greeting and the baby leaped in
30:32her womb and Elizabeth was filled with
30:34the Holy Spirit notice Elizabeth and
30:37Mary they weren't competing
30:40they were supporting each other
30:42let me just say to women especially
30:44mothers I know I know man it happens to
30:47men too
30:49but ladies since it's Mother's Day
30:51listen to me find women who celebrate
30:55you not tolerate you
31:01Bible says when they got together
31:05the Bible says in verse 42 in a loud
31:09voice she explained blessed are you
31:11among women and blessed is the child you
31:15will bear she was carrying something
31:16both of them of course but why am I so
31:20favored that the mother of the Lord
31:22should come to me Elizabeth is saying
31:25Mary why the mother of the Lord is
31:27coming to me and then it says in verse
31:2944 as soon as the sound of her greeting
31:33reached my ears the baby
31:38leaped for joy
31:44Elizabeth's attitude and Mary's attitude
31:47they were joyful
31:49to be carriers of prophets
31:52that watch this you got to read the text
31:54properly they weren't the one the Bible
31:56says rejoice
31:59the Bible says
32:01that when two
32:02stairs came together supported each
32:05other the babies
32:07we're full of joy
32:09oh God I wish I had time to teach on
32:12that and finally don't complain
32:17be grateful
32:19be hopeful
32:22don't panic
32:24support or surround yourself with other
32:27women who will push you into your
32:28greatness
32:30and then what you need to do stop
32:32complaining
32:34be grateful
32:36and be hopeful
32:38here's what I want to do I know God
32:40spoke to me about this
32:44I am pastoring for now 32 years
32:50and I believe with all of my heart
32:54we're living in a crucial hour
32:57the next two years is going to be
32:59crucial to all of us
33:02there are women here you're a mother
33:05from age 32 and under listen to me
33:08carefully
33:1032 and under
33:12not 33 and above
33:15if you're a mother 32 and under
33:19I want to speak into your life this
33:20morning
33:22the baby you're carrying now or have
33:27delivered
33:29those are the babies
33:31who are going to change this world
33:35listen to me
33:37your sons and your daughters
33:40if you don't be like Elizabeth and Mary
33:46where you make sure that you rejoice
33:51while you're waiting for whatever if you
33:53don't
33:54act like you already got everything that
33:57God told you you're going to give
34:00what kind of a Spirits are your children
34:02picking up
34:05the baby leap for joy
34:08I want you as a mother 32 years of age
34:12and under
34:13to do something today that will kick
34:16your baby
34:17to leap for joy
34:22it is time you stop complaining while
34:26you're waiting for your stuff
34:29if that's you I want you to come down
34:31here let me pray the close and pray over
34:33your life 32 and under
34:36if you're 32 and under and you're a
34:38mother get down here real quick you're
34:40online identify yourself let us know
34:44that you're a mother 32 and under
34:47the baby maybe you're pregnant right now
34:50that baby you're carrying
34:53I'm I promise you
34:55that baby
34:56you've got to infect them or you've got
35:01to transfer Joy over to that child's
35:04life

35:14wherever you are 32 and under I want to
35:17pray and I hope
35:19the older mothers will work with us here
35:22I hope you'll be beginning to pray
35:25because these young ladies we need to
35:29cover them
35:30let me say it again these young ladies

40:42they are given the responsibilities over
40:46that those children are the ones who
40:49will change the world for the good or
40:53for the bad
40:55so father I pray in the name of Jesus
40:57that you will strengthen them
40:59help them to understand if you've
41:01carried that seasoned senior mother

41:10them you'll make a way you'll work a
41:12miracle for them now
