1:55praise god let's get into the word of

1:59the lord

1:59tonight quickly go to philippians 1

2:036 it is a very familiar passage of

2:06scripture

2:08and i want to lay a foundation on

2:11this one verse that i believe will

2:15help you as you go through

2:19your journey in life i call it the

2:21process

2:22the process you know lately i've been

2:24talking a lot

2:25in fact it's since the beginning of the

2:27year i've been talking about the process

2:30the process we all go through because

2:33everybody's going through a process

2:35you know you may think that your process

2:37is fine

2:38you don't have any drama there's no

2:40issue in your life but it's still a

2:42process

2:43and then there's some people who are

2:44having a difficult season or a difficult

2:47time right now but we're all going

2:50through a process so i want to talk to

2:52you about

2:53the importance of staying confident

2:57in the process so our subject is stay

3:00confident

3:02in the process when i say you should

3:04stay

3:05confident in the process i am actually

3:08encouraging you

3:10to feel confident you know get

3:13that spirit on you dress yourself

3:17every day with the spirit of confidence

3:20you know confidence should be

3:23your roommate should be your friend i'm

3:26also talking about you

3:28being assured about who

3:32you are and about your future that

3:35you're going to have a good

3:36outcome in every area of your life

3:40that's the confidence you ought to have

3:43that you know

3:44in the end you're going to have a good

3:46outcome

3:47why because god said it he said you're

3:50going to have a good outcome

3:52so every day you're going to live

3:55expecting that your future

3:57will result in a good outcome

4:01that you you're not going to panic over

4:04what you're going through now

4:06and for those of you who perhaps kind of

4:08you know anxiety

4:10level is high and you're wondering my

4:12god what's happening and you're about to

4:14quit

4:15let me encourage you you have to stay

4:18confident in your

4:21faith walk you got to believe that god

4:24is going to finish

4:25his assignment in your life you must

4:27have confidence in god

4:29and you must have confidence in yourself

4:33it's one thing to have confidence in god

4:36but then the question is do you have

4:37confidence in yourself

4:40because you can have confidence in god

4:42and no confidence in yourself

4:44and you will never get through the

4:46process you will never win in life

4:48because you don't have self-confidence

4:51are you hearing me your confidence in

4:54god

4:54will complete his assignment that's his

4:58work

4:58in all areas of your life and that is

5:01the reason why

5:02philippians 1 6 tells us

5:06and i am sure of this

5:09notice what he said in the esv

5:12translation

5:13i am sure of this in other words what

5:16he's saying

5:16is i am confident of this

5:20what is this that he who

5:23begon a good work in you

5:26will bring it to completion

5:29at the day of jesus christ

5:33so what paul is encouraging us to do

5:36is to have self-confidence and to have

5:39confidence in god

5:40because you got to have it both ways you

5:42can't just have confidence

5:44in god and not confidence in yourself

5:47he says i'm sure of this that he who has

5:52begun a good work you see god has

5:55started a good work in you

5:56the day you were born when he placed you

5:59on this planet

6:01he did it for a reason and now that

6:03you're on this planet god

6:05started a good work in you he

6:08started a good work in you whatever work

6:12that god has started in you

6:14god started that work it's a good work

6:17and that work will come to completion

6:22you need to hear me now that work that

6:25god

6:25started in you it will come to

6:28completion

6:29now if you know god told you to do some

6:32things

6:32right i don't know what it is but many

6:35of you

6:36right now god told you to do some things

6:38you know for sure

6:40you were hearing from god you heard from

6:43god

6:44and now it looks like what you're doing

6:47or you know the obedience

6:49you know that you took on you started

6:51walking in obedience you

6:53you notice now it's like it's not

6:55working for you but but i'm here today

6:57according to what paul is saying the

7:00work that god started

7:02in you you're going to finish it

7:05perhaps he told you to go back to school

7:08to get an education well what he started

7:11in you he'll finish it

7:13perhaps he told you okay here's what you

7:15need to do get yourself

7:17out of debt and you know you started

7:19well and things were going

7:21okay and then all of a sudden the

7:23pandemic came upon you

7:24and now you know you probably lost your

7:26job or things got so difficult

7:29so now you have to you know go into your

7:32reserve and and now your funds are

7:35depleted and you're wondering god

7:38what's happening to my life well i'm

7:39telling you the work that god

7:42started in you he'll complete it perhaps

7:45it's a business

7:46maybe it's a business he started that

7:48business in you

7:49and and and you're thinking my god what

7:51am i going to do

7:52if he started this business in me you

7:55know and it's not working out

7:56in my favor i don't think you know uh uh

8:00you know god's will is going to be done

8:02in my life because my business is

8:04struggling maybe i'm contemplating

8:06to close the business down listen to me

8:09when god gives you an idea

8:11and he birthed that idea in you

8:14you've got to listen for his instruction

8:17remember i just recently spoke about

8:19clarity

8:21clarity because you see abraham when god

8:25said to abraham

8:26i want you to go take your son and i

8:29want you to go

8:30offer him up as a sacrifice abraham

8:33knew exactly what god was asking him to

8:37do

8:37he knew yet he was willing

8:41and god started that faith walk with him

8:45he took his son watch this i'm going

8:48somewhere with this

8:49he took his son and as you know he

8:52created the altar

8:53he laid his son on the altar he took the

8:56knife

8:56and ready to slaughter his son but god

9:00interrupted him the point i'm making

9:03when god gives you an instruction

9:05you've got to listen to him and

9:08in listening to him you've got to

9:11understand that god doesn't always

9:13give us the complete thought

9:16that's in his head or in his mind you

9:19know god doesn't have a mind

9:20he doesn't have a head because he's not

9:22a human being so i'm just trying to

9:23explain it to you

9:25the best way we can comprehend it you

9:27see his

9:28thoughts are not our thoughts so when

9:30god gave

9:31abraham the idea of going to offer up

9:34your son

9:35as a sacrifice you know abraham of

9:37course like human beings we're thinking

9:39okay we're going to go and we're going

9:41to we're going to going to do it man

9:43but you see abraham had to listen for

9:46the update for the update

9:50because if you don't get the update

9:53you're not going to function

9:54properly you you all of you have your

9:57your phones your tablets

9:59right and every now and then you get

10:02update notifications right

10:05they say okay you gotta update your

10:07phone and i remember one particular time

10:09my phone wasn't working so well

10:11and i'm not a tech person so you know i

10:14just didn't understand

10:15what was going on it was slow you know

10:18and so forth and it was pretty

10:20new phone you know and i'm like okay

10:22what's going on it just wasn't working

10:25correctly only to find out when i asked

10:28someone

10:29and they look and they said but you got

10:31an update when when was the last time

10:32you updated your phone

10:34that was foreign to me because i'm like

10:37update phone i didn't know you i bought

10:39the phone

10:40i'm thinking if you spent so much money

10:42buying a phone

10:43why why do i have to update you know

10:46that that's just me

10:47why do you have to update but they said

10:49to me you have to update the phone

10:52and of course they walked me through the

10:54process of how you update the phone

10:56and by me updating the phone i noticed

10:59certain

11:00apps started functioning differently

11:04i noticed the speed and everything on my

11:07phone

11:08was much better than it was what's the

11:10point pastor

11:11what i'm trying to tell you is that

11:13you've got to learn to get an

11:15update from god when god starts

11:17something

11:18in you right he doesn't give you the

11:20whole picture

11:21but every now and then he'll give you

11:23updates you see abraham receive an

11:25update and thank god abraham didn't say

11:29well god spoke to me and he told me

11:31to slaughter my son i'm going to do it i

11:33don't care what nobody said to me

11:34he would have missed the moment so you

11:37and i need to understand this

11:39that we ought to be confident that that

11:41god's going to

11:42finish the work in us so let's not panic

11:46let's just constantly get the updates

11:48from him

11:50let him keep updating us telling us when

11:53to go left

11:55telling us when to go right telling us

11:57what to do

11:58telling us when to be still and know

12:01that he is god

12:02are you hearing me so it's important

12:06that you walk in confidence

12:09when it comes to what god birthed

12:12in you the person who put their

12:15confidence

12:16in god is a blessed person

12:19yes it's a blessed person and i don't

12:22know

12:23you know if you are a believer and

12:26you put your trust in god i want to tell

12:30you right now

12:30you are blessed you are blessed

12:34stop looking at the problem stop looking

12:36at the situation around you

12:38and consider yourself blessed

12:42because your temporary situation will

12:44pass

12:45and god's word will complete its

12:48assignment

12:49in your life so i encourage you to

12:52declare that

12:53i'm blessed why don't you go ahead and

12:55type that

13:00if you believe it you'll be shocked at

13:02the power of your words

13:08it was god in the book of genesis who

13:10stepped out of his world

13:13into nothing and he spoke

13:16into that nothingness if you will and

13:19created everything

13:20i wonder what would happen if you would

13:23type if you would declare it

13:25to the nations of the world if you will

13:27even declare to yourself because

13:29sometimes

13:29when we say things it's not to to

13:32convince

13:33other people because some of the people

13:36we're trying to convince

13:37they would never believe in us they will

13:40never believe that that we're we we will

13:43succeed

13:44or you know god's gonna turn things

13:46around for us

13:47sometimes you got to encourage yourself

13:50sometimes you have to speak to yourself

13:52sometimes you got to declare it

13:54to yourself so when you say i am blessed

13:57you're just talking to yourself

13:59forget about everybody else in the room

14:01forget about the naysayers

14:03you tell yourself i am

14:06blessed i'm blessed

14:10because i know whatever i'm going

14:13through

14:13whatever my enemies are looking at and

14:16mocking me

14:17and wishing that i'm going to fail

14:20they're thinking about the same thing

14:21about you too

14:22i'm telling you you are blessed and the

14:25last time i checked in the bible

14:27it says the person whom god has blessed

14:31nobody can reverse that blessing you

14:34better hear me now

14:35nobody can reverse that let's go to

14:37jeremiah 17

14:397. it confirms what i just said

14:42blessed is the man who trusts in

14:46the lord when you put your trust in god

14:50not man not the systems of the world

14:54not people but you put your trust in god

14:57the bible says you are blessed

14:59whose trust is in the lord

15:02so let's be honest sometimes

15:06i think we have a tendency to doubt

15:09what god said because

15:12we don't see or even

15:16feel his protection around us

15:20especially when we see the threatening

15:22attacks of the enemy

15:25sometimes we don't feel blessed

15:27sometimes we don't

15:28feel that that you know we can we can

15:31confidently

15:33finish the week or confidently finish

15:36the year some of you are at a

15:40spot where you're actually numb you you

15:43are just having a

15:44warm time a difficult time with this

15:47year

15:47the pandemic and and the domino effect

15:51of the pandemic you know has caused you

15:53to doubt

15:54god and to doubt yourself but it's time

15:57you have confidence in yourself

15:59it's time you have confidence no matter

16:01what's threatening you

16:02it's time you believe in god and

16:05understand that you

16:06are a blessed person proverbs 3

16:0926 says for the lord will be

16:13at your side let's pause for a moment

16:17for the lord will be at your side

16:21your side i mean listen

16:25i understand understand you want some

16:27friends at your side

16:28i understand you're looking for um some

16:31other source to be on your side maybe i

16:34don't know what it is

16:35but but according to this it says for

16:38the lord will be on your side

16:40and will keep your foot from being

16:43snared

16:45what he's actually saying keep your foot

16:48from being entangled into

16:50something that you can't get out of the

16:53enemy is set in traps i'm telling you

16:55he's doing it every day why he

16:58understands that you're a blessed person

17:00and remember he comes to kill steel and

17:03to destroy

17:04that's why he's attacking you and you

17:06know what your attitude should be

17:08every day you should get up expecting

17:11the enemy to come after you why

17:13you got something he wants

17:16stop living your life thinking you know

17:18because you're a christian you serve god

17:21that that everything is going to be

17:22perfect and you won't have drama

17:24you want to have problems you know come

17:25on man you need to wake up every day

17:28saying to yourself god i'm blessed i

17:31trust you today is going to be a good

17:33day but i know

17:34the devil is going to act the fool

17:37the devil is going to act the fool he's

17:39going to get into somebody

17:42you know he's going to get into somebody

17:45to

17:45cause me to slip right

17:48he's going to get into something you're

17:50going to go to work and if you're not

17:52careful

17:53the devil will cause your foot to move

17:55you know your faith to waiver

17:57you know you're going to the grocery

17:59store you're going to the marketplace

18:01your place of business you may get a

18:03phone call you may get a text message

18:05you may go on social media

18:08the devil will bombard you he's a

18:11prowler

18:12he hangs around your life every day

18:14waiting to trip

18:15you up but according to the word of god

18:18the lord is on your side you are blessed

18:21oh

18:22it's getting better man are you feeling

18:25this

18:26you are blessed and the lord is on your

18:28side

18:29it doesn't get any better than that

18:32you're blessed

18:33and if you believe that then the lord is

18:36on your side

18:36and if the lord is on your side you have

18:39nothing to worry about man

18:42when god is on your side you're good

18:45you're good you're cool you're all right

18:48as the young people say you dope

18:51hopefully i said that right did i say

18:54that right

18:55okay you what lit

18:58dope you don't say you dope okay all

19:01right strike that

19:02you lit that's what they say okay i'm

19:05trying to be young here

19:07but but you understand what i'm saying

19:08you are blessed

19:11god is on your side that's it

19:15you must have confidence in yourself

19:17knowing

19:19that you have the ability to do whatever

19:23you set your mind to do

19:27many of you you've already you've told

19:31yourself

19:32i can't do it you have declared

19:35this is impossible i'll i'll i'll never

19:39achieve

19:39those things or i i you know it's too

19:42late or whatever

19:43excuse you may come up with you're

19:45saying i can't i can't

19:47but philippians 4 13 it tells us i can

19:51do

19:51all things through him

19:55not your own strength you can do all

19:58things

19:58through him who gives you the strength

20:02god gave you the strength to complete

20:05every assignment

20:07in life to go through the process

20:10why he has already blessed you that

20:13means

20:14his favor is upon you and he's by your

20:18side

20:18in other words he's walking you through

20:20the process

20:22every where you go every season

20:26including 2020 god is walking you

20:29through the process

20:30and he has already declared you blessed

20:34and he is saying i'm beside you and you

20:37know what

20:38you can handle the journey you can do

20:41all things in the process

20:43all things well you know henry you just

20:45don't understand

20:46i believe i could do this but i can't do

20:48that no no the scripture says i can do

20:50all things not in your own strength but

20:54in his strength one of the most

20:57priceless advice

20:59i can give to you today is stay

21:02confident while you're going through the

21:04process

21:05of finding happiness joy

21:09peace love fulfillment

21:12and financial security

21:15it's very important that you stay

21:18confident while you're in pursuit

21:21of happiness and every one of you

21:24should pursue happiness yes

21:28you should go after happiness you

21:30deserve to be happy

21:32do not let anybody rob you of your

21:36happiness

21:37and by the way happiness doesn't come

21:40from a person

21:42it doesn't come from things happiness is

21:45an

21:45internal thing it's an internal thing it

21:48comes from god when you understand who

21:50you

21:50are you you learn to be happy

21:55maybe you maybe you're waiting for that

21:57four bedroom house to be happy

21:59listen there's a lot of people who've

22:01got 10 bedrooms

22:03and they're not happy because material

22:06things

22:07doesn't bring happiness in your life

22:10maybe you're hoping

22:11maybe if i get a new car i'll be happy

22:14because i don't have to worry about

22:16taking my car to the mechanic

22:18week after week no no a lot of people

22:20got a lot of expensive cars

22:22brand new cars they're not happy you're

22:25thinking maybe if

22:26i i landed this perfect job i'll be

22:28happy

22:29no maybe if i find somebody who would

22:32date me

22:33i'll be happy no maybe if i get married

22:37i'll be happy happiness doesn't come

22:40from those things

22:42you have to tell yourself i am happy

22:46single i am happy with a broke down

22:50car i am happy in a

22:54one-bedroom apartment or wherever you

22:56live you you should learn to be

22:58happy in those things

23:01so when the greater things would come in

23:04your life

23:06then you know you're still happy it

23:09doesn't subtract

23:11it just reaffirm that you are blessed

23:15and and god goes before you and he's

23:18making a way for you

23:19and he's adding things to your life

23:23so you should make sure that you stay

23:25confident

23:26when you're going and pursuing um

23:29trying to find joy and and hopefully you

23:33find joy in the right places because i'm

23:36telling you you're not going to find

23:37happiness

23:38and joy in people and things peace

23:41peace certainly if you want peace

23:45do not try to find peace

23:48in people maybe what you'll find out

23:52when

23:52when you try to find peace in people

23:54that's when you find you're miserable

23:59listen to me if you

24:02are miserable living by yourself

24:05you are the problem

24:09you are the problem if you are miserable

24:12living by yourself

24:14please don't get married please don't

24:16even date nobody stay by yourself

24:19die that way please

24:22if you can listen i'm serious if you are

24:25by yourself

24:27and you are not happy there's no joy and

24:30certainly you don't have any peace how

24:32could you not have peace living by

24:34yourself

24:37i could understand if you are dating

24:40somebody or you

24:41married to somebody and you have to live

24:43with the person

24:44every day i get it i get it going home

24:48to a home

24:50that is a hostile environment

24:53i can get that but when you are by

24:56yourself

24:57you have no peace you got a problem

25:02you seriously got a problem when you

25:05walk into your own place and you turn

25:07your

25:08own key locked up in your own house

25:11oh nobody no explanation what time to

25:15come in

25:15what time to leave what you do how you

25:18keep your house

25:19you don't care nobody listen to me if

25:22yourself

25:22is arguing with you about what you're

25:25doing in your house

25:26you are crazy let me just tell you

25:30you you need to go to the doctor listen

25:32we can pray for you but

25:33listen you need to go to the hospital

25:36you need to go get your head

25:38checked because something is wrong with

25:40you

25:41praise the lord hallelujah

25:45you can't be by yourself and don't have

25:48peace

25:51see that's why i'm telling be confident

25:53in yourself

25:54look you know what this season of my

25:57life this is what you should be saying

25:58in this season of my life i'm by myself

26:02and i'm going to enjoy oh glory to god

26:05yes i would love to have somebody in my

26:07life oh god i get that

26:09no no no but i'm going to enjoy it

26:12i'm going to enjoy it i have to argue

26:14with nobody there's no fussing there's

26:16no

26:16argument this is just me and me

26:19alone that's it when you're seeking for

26:24fulfillment

26:27be confident when you're going after the

26:30things that you think

26:31will fulfill your life financial

26:34security stay encouraged be

26:37confident that you will get out of debt

26:40be confident and you have to own up to

26:42this you have to own up to this part

26:45the finance is one of the number one

26:47problems

26:48people will have and you have to own up

26:52to it

26:52you see if you keep hiding the truth

26:56if you keep dodging the the reality of

26:59of of what you're dealing with

27:00then you're never going to make progress

27:03if you're not honest to yourself

27:05and say look i'm in a financial crisis

27:08if you keep covering it up if you keep

27:10spending foolishly

27:13and and not living within your means if

27:15you don't budget

27:16if you are if you are a person that that

27:18just quickly and

27:20and and just out of impulse just do

27:22things and spend money

27:24listen you're never going to get out of

27:26debt

27:28but if you tell yourself i am confident

27:31if i do the right thing

27:32god's going to get me out of debt and

27:34one day i would get out of debt i don't

27:36care how much people i owe

27:38i don't care what i'm struggling with i

27:40don't care

27:41how poor i am i'm going to get out of

27:43debt i'm

27:44telling you it's possible why i've lived

27:47it

27:49i've lived it and i want you to listen

27:52to me carefully

27:54i say this all the time if what you are

27:56doing

27:57is working for you do not listen to me

28:00don't even listen to other preachers or

28:02other people who are empowering you how

28:04to get out of wealth

28:05get out of debt and acquire wealth

28:08but if you know what you're doing is not

28:10working for heaven's sake try something

28:13else the definition for insanity

28:16is doing the same thing over and over

28:18and over and over and over and over

28:22again expecting a different result you

28:25got to change

28:27so if you're in pursuit of financial

28:29security you got to be confident within

28:31yourself like i did

28:33years ago you know i'm broke

28:36i made some bad decisions and the first

28:40thing i

28:40did was okay god

28:43i'm going to put you to the test i am

28:45going to put you to the test i don't

28:47care listen

28:48if it's in your word i'm going to apply

28:50because you know what

28:51they're look i could get four jobs it

28:54wouldn't

28:55it wouldn't get me out of debt i was so

28:56broke so in debt

28:58four jobs wasn't gonna do it so i needed

29:01a miracle

29:02and in order for a miracle to be

29:03activated i had to put my

29:05faith at work at work not just faith

29:08without works

29:09i had to put my faith at work and i did

29:13the moment i did god turned things

29:17around for me

29:18first i honored him and if that dampened

29:21your spirit and

29:22you just shut down hello keep your money

29:26do whatever you want to do ten years

29:28from now let's see

29:29where you will be either god is true

29:33or he's lying either he's speaking the

29:37truth to his word

29:38through his word or his line but you see

29:41you you can't

29:43you're not qualified to respond to that

29:45because

29:46you're not a doer of his word

29:50are you hearing me you see you can also

29:52remain confident dealing with

29:54sickness struggles struggling business

29:58if you will

29:59family drama workplace challenges and

30:02spiritual battles

30:04you can remain confident as you go

30:06through all of these things

30:07you can remain confident knowing that if

30:09you're sick god's going to heal you

30:11you can remain confident even if you're

30:12going through a struggling business or a

30:14career

30:15that god's going to work it all out you

30:18know

30:18you got to remain confident that that no

30:21matter what the family drama is that

30:23god's gonna handle it

30:25workplace and in spiritual battles

30:28come on you gotta be confident you see i

30:30can tell you as a pastor

30:33um it's been a challenging year

30:36i mean i was the one god used to declare

30:39this is the year of uncommon

30:41opportunities

30:42so when the pandemic started my faith

30:45was tested now

30:46what do i do i mean our norm has been

30:49interrupted and of course the flesh

30:52part of me would want to panic and no no

30:55no no but i didn't

30:56say i didn't feed into that god has not

30:58given us a spirit of fear

31:00but he has given us a spirit of love

31:02power and of a sound

31:04mind so

31:07i started looking to the word of god

31:10applying the word of god

31:12like abraham got my update

31:15okay god what are you saying now in this

31:17season and what i heard god was saying

31:20is shift

31:21do things different okay

31:24do things differently do it in such a

31:26way

31:27where it it's it is against the norm

31:31and i and i i have to tell you this i

31:33have to tell you this

31:35it is proven over and over when i'm

31:38tested the most

31:40that's when my leadership skills are

31:43demonstrated

31:44the most god forces

31:47problems to perfect you

31:54he uses problems and force

31:57his perfect will out of you

32:01to get you to where he wants you to be

32:03i'm a better man

32:05a better pastor doing this pandemic

32:09i will tell you that any day i am a

32:12better pastor

32:13my leadership skills have been sharpened

32:17and have gotten better during this

32:19pandemic why

32:20because my confidence is not in what i

32:23was doing on myself

32:25my confidence is in god so listen the

32:28process

32:29is everyone's journey everybody

32:32including yours truly

32:33everybody's got to go through the

32:35process i don't know

32:36what your process is like but just

32:39because

32:39you see other people look like they're

32:43having a wonderful life and everything

32:46is great and wonderful

32:48doesn't mean that they're not going

32:49through the process

32:52it's just that we don't we don't let the

32:56struggles of the process dress us

33:00when i was a little kid growing up i'll

33:03never forget my mom would always say

33:05don't you ever leave the house and go on

33:07the street

33:08and take your business on the street

33:11home business on the street

33:13never never i don't care people say well

33:16that's hypocrisy and some of you

33:18you know you're struggling with that you

33:20know you're at home and maybe you having

33:22issues and so forth

33:23and you're like well you know i am no

33:25hypocrite i don't care

33:27why are you taking your business on the

33:28street

33:30why why why you got to broadcast to the

33:32whole nations of the world

33:34that you got problems at home no

33:37you don't need to do that according to

33:40the word of god

33:40you put your trust in god you put your

33:43trust in god

33:44understanding that the journey

33:45everybody's got to go

33:47through a process everybody

33:51everybody it's just that we some of us

33:55instead of letting the struggles dress

33:57us

33:58we dress ourselves with faith

34:02great expectation we dress ourselves

34:04believing

34:05that god's going to do it that god's

34:07going to make a way

34:08god's going to open up the floodgates we

34:11we dress ourselves with

34:12hope hope hope we

34:16we hope for god to turn things around

34:20so we must stay confident every step of

34:24the way

34:24because it is the only way to avoid

34:28frustration exhaustion

34:31and an incomplete journey

34:34incomplete journey the one thing you do

34:38not want

34:40is to stop along

34:43the journey the apostle paul said you

34:46did run well but what caused you

34:49to not finish the race you got to finish

34:55and i know confidence is a huge struggle

34:58for many people

34:59but you must walk confidently through

35:02life

35:03you must you're not going to make it if

35:06you don't walk

35:07through life confidently you must be

35:11confident

35:13you must be confident you have to

35:16you must be confident in order to have

35:20a great life

35:23oh you know you're saying lord i want a

35:25great life lord i want to win

35:27lord i want to succeed okay well where's

35:29your confidence do you believe in god

35:31and by the way do you believe in

35:32yourself

35:34so let me remind you that you must have

35:37confidence in god

35:38and yourself to get through life's

35:41journey

35:42you must know and believe that god has

35:46the power

35:47to handle anything life throws

35:50at you you got to believe

35:54you got to believe that god is for you

35:56and that's all

35:58that matters i don't know who this word

36:02was for

36:03you've got to believe that god is for

36:06you i understand

36:07there's a lot that's coming against you

36:09right now

36:11but you got to believe god is for me

36:14he's

36:14fighting for me and that's all that

36:18matters because god has declared

36:22a good outcome for you already are you

36:26hearing me

36:26he has declared a good outcome for you

36:28already so you

36:30must also know and believe

36:33that you are wired by god

36:37with all the qualities to be the best

36:40version of yourself

36:45one thing you lack is self-confidence

36:49some of you you believe in god man some

36:51of you you do

36:52you do you believe in god you have faith

36:55in god but you have

36:56no confidence in yourself

37:00no confidence in the work that he has

37:02started in you

37:04not knowing you are wired to be

37:06successful

37:08you are built to be successful

37:11you are built with qualities to be the

37:13best

37:14version of yourself one of the things

37:17the most

37:17pitiful thing i see on social media is

37:20people are trying to copy other people

37:25trying to be like other people or

37:27letting other people's

37:29lives impress them be your authentic

37:33self

37:34so what if people don't like your style

37:36[Music]

37:39you know it took me a long time to get

37:41to that place

37:42because i was once a people pleaser

37:46so what if people don't like your style

37:48what if they don't like how you walk

37:50how you talk how you do business that's

37:52none of their business

37:54it's your business love yourself

37:58be the best you even if you're in a

38:01relationship

38:02people always say well i think you think

38:04can you wear this can you do your hair

38:06like this can you

38:07no no no don't let people change you

38:11now i'm not saying to not to improve on

38:13yourself

38:14and all that kind of stuff and take

38:16sound advice from people but be careful

38:18of people trying

38:20to shape you into the the

38:23image of themself or what they would

38:26like you to be

38:27be yourself therefore

38:30love yourself be authentic avoid

38:34comparing yourself to others

38:37embrace your your uniqueness and never

38:40compromise or apologize

38:42for being yourself have confidence

38:46in yourself even when you make mistakes

38:49own up to it but have confidence in

38:52yourself i can do better

38:54i will do better are you hearing me

38:57because you were designed by god

38:59therefore you are

39:00perfect uh there's a song you're perfect

39:04in all of your ways

39:06you are perfect you know god is perfect

39:10in all of his ways

39:11therefore if he's perfect in all of his

39:14ways

39:15and he created you in his own image

39:18uh you are perfect

39:21when you walk in the will of god

39:24you possess all the abilities to birth

39:27your dreams

39:30to confront and overcome

39:33your challenges have confidence

39:37that you can do that man having

39:40confidence

39:41is not being arrogant honestly one time

39:44i felt that way

39:47until i realized wait a minute i have to

39:49have confidence in my god

39:51and myself second

39:54corinthians 4 and i conclude with this

39:59beginning at verse 8. this is good it

40:02says

40:03we are hard-pressed on every

40:06side wow some of you feeling exactly

40:10like that right now

40:12you are pressured on every side to you

40:14right to your left before you behind you

40:16you are surrounded with pressure

40:20if you were to tell your testimony if

40:23you were to type it

40:24and and let the whole world know it they

40:27would think you're lying

40:28because you are hard-pressed on every

40:30side but wait a minute

40:32here's what paul said he said but not

40:35crushed oh you got to get this man i got

40:38to get out of your way

40:39i'm telling you man don't mess with me

40:41in this scripture man because

40:43i will preach for another hour this is

40:45good stuff

40:46he's saying we're hard-pressed on every

40:48side

40:49but we're not crushed

40:53in other words you're going to win it

40:55won't wipe you out

40:56that problem is not going to destroy you

40:59it won't crush you

41:00we yes we are pressured our back is

41:03against the wall

41:04and we can't breathe but we cannot be

41:08crossed

41:10please hear me

41:15nor perplexed

41:18not in despair

41:23he said according to that

41:27even when we're persecuted we're not

41:30abandoned

41:32we're not abandoned even when we feel

41:36persecution is coming from everywhere

41:40but god is right there with you

41:43remember i told you before in the

41:45previous scripture that he's right by

41:46your side

41:49so when you feel uh i feel abandoned

41:52you know where where are you god he's

41:56there

41:57struck down listen to me don't let

41:59anybody lie to you

42:00that's because you are born again or

42:02you're reading the bible you'll never

42:04get struck down that's not what paul

42:05said

42:06you will be struck down i've been

42:08knocked down

42:09so many times throughout my life

42:13and i know the devil saw me on the floor

42:16he saw me at my

42:17lowest point and baby he was counting

42:20he was counting like the referee in a

42:22boxing ring

42:23one two three and i could hardly breathe

42:27and i didn't know where my hip was going

42:29to come from and he's counting

42:31four five six and even for me

42:34i'm knocked down and there are times i

42:37thought that was it

42:38have you ever thought in a battle

42:41that that was it that battle was going

42:43to knock you

42:44out and you will never rise again i felt

42:48that way

42:48and when the devil got to nine i said

42:51that's

42:51it i was about to quit i can't listen

42:54don't let me shock you

42:55i can't tell you how many times as a

42:58preacher

42:59i felt like giving up

43:02don't let this outfit fool you

43:06but oh when the devil lift his hands to

43:09count

43:09the last number 10

43:13he's finished he's over with

43:17he forgot one thing

43:22god is in control and i don't care how

43:26close you get to being

43:29killed or the breath or

43:32your faith or your confidence being

43:35sucked away from you

43:37if you keep on trusting god i promise

43:40you

43:41at the end of the day when the devil is

43:43saying

43:44she's out now god gonna say oh oh no

43:48mercy will step in the ring mercy and

43:51grace will step in the ring

43:52and say you cannot touch that one

43:56because my anointing is upon her

44:00or him we are carried around

44:04in our body the death

44:07of jesus so that the life of jesus may

44:12also be revealed in the body

44:14i'll finish with that we carry around

44:18the death of jesus the death of jesus

44:21the agony the agony the agony we carry

44:25around the agony of jesus

44:27can you imagine what jesus went through

44:29what paul is saying we carry

44:30around the struggles of jesus some of

44:33you are struggling right now

44:34you're carrying in your physical body

44:37the struggles of jesus

44:38you carrying around the struggles of

44:40jesus but i love what paul says

44:43as you're carrying the struggles of

44:45jesus

44:46he says here and i love it

44:50he says also the resurrection of jesus

44:54will be revealed

44:57in other words you're coming out of that

44:59thing

45:01though you carry the struggles you're

45:03coming out of that thing

45:04god's going to lift you up and prove

45:07himself to you

45:09father thank you

45:18in all of your ways oh sometimes we

45:21can't understand

45:23why you do it that way what's the

45:27purpose

45:29but you're perfect in all of your ways

45:31and because you are perfect in all of

45:33your ways

45:34if our steps are ordered by you then we

45:36too will be perfect

45:39in all of our ways

45:43so i ask you lord bless them

45:47bless your people there's a woman who

45:50needed this message as a man who needed

45:52this message

45:53and i so believe father you've answered

45:56the questions that they've had for a

45:59long time

46:00you've given them hope tonight you've

46:02given them hope

46:03somebody's going to go to bed and have a

46:07peaceful night a restful night

46:10because you have spoken directly

46:14to them father in fact they were on the

46:17floor

46:17and the devil was counting them out but

46:21thanks be to almighty god you've raised

46:24them up

46:25this very moment to walk in confidence

46:30knowing that the work that you've

46:31started in them

46:34you'll finish it bless them now

46:38oh god bless them now they are blessed

46:42you've already declared it and they have

46:44declared it they are blessed

46:45and you're by their side

46:52with someone

46:54you're with them and you'll never leave

46:57them

46:58nor forsake them thank you

47:09and lord as we give tonight

47:12we give because you're teaching us

47:16the way out of debt you're teaching

47:19us what you ask for is full obedience

47:23you're teaching us to surrender

47:26everything to you

47:27you're teaching us to be

47:30like you to be like you it's not

47:33us being presumptuous wanting to be like

47:36you you're teaching

47:37us follow your example

47:41you are the greatest example of

47:43generosity

47:45and therefore we give we give so that

47:48this

47:48word can continue we give so that we can

47:51be a beacon of light

47:53serving the community so lord we want to

47:56get out of debt we want we want to be

47:59debt-free so god we release

48:02our will to you father we honor you with

48:05our tithe and our offerings but beyond

48:07that god

48:08we're disciplined we make a decision

48:11we're going to be disciplined

48:12in our spending we're not going to get

48:16allow the lust of the eye the pride of

48:19life to force us

48:21to live above our means

48:27we're going to walk in confidence

48:30knowing whatever we possess

48:31in life doesn't value who we

48:35are whether it's a good car broke car

48:39a great house a bad house

48:43whether is we have a million dollars in

48:45the bank or a hundred dollars

48:47that doesn't define who we are society

48:49has created that measure

48:52we are perfect because you

48:56created us and as we go through the

48:59process

49:01we trust you bless are given now

49:05in jesus name amen

49:13you're perfect in

49:17all of your ways

49:22just take a moment and let that settle

49:24in your spirit would you
