0:02everybody as we prepare our hearts for
0:04the word of the Lord this morning
0:08um this part of the service is so
0:10important
0:11because
0:12it is the moment when God speaks to us
0:15of course he uses people
0:18but we have to believe that he inspired
0:21people just like he inspired the writers
0:23of the Bible that you and I read each
0:26and every day
0:28what you're about to hear is enough
0:30information to keep you not only this
0:32week
0:34but to help you to get through the rest
0:36of this year
0:38so if you don't mind as the song they
0:40were singing says that we're here to
0:43receive
0:44to receive a blessing would you lift
0:46both your spiritual antennas
0:48towards heaven it's like a satellite
0:50dish
0:51and lets us receive from the Lord father
0:53we thank you this morning
0:55that as people are streaming on on
0:58campus raising their hands towards you
1:01because we know where our help comes
1:02from
1:04it is from you we look to the hills from
1:07when's cometh our help this morning I
1:10ask that we'll receive your word
1:12we know it's potent we know it has the
1:15ability to transform us
1:17anoint your servant once again and think
1:20with my mind and speak with my vocal
1:22cords
1:23so that in the end we will give you the
1:26glory in Jesus name and somebody shout
1:30amen all right let's give them a praise
1:32one more time
1:35and you may be seated
1:37in the presence of the Lord

1:43talk to you today
1:46about something that most of us are
1:48experiencing and it's a little bit
1:51uncomfortable for us we don't fully
1:53understand what the heck is going on
1:55with us
1:57and it is a change you're going through
2:00a change
2:02therefore I want to talk to you about
2:03change is a process
2:07change is
2:11a process
2:13look at your neighbor and say you're
2:14going through a process
2:18they don't believe you so look at
2:19somebody else and just tell them you're
2:22going through a process
2:25you are you're going through a process
2:28why because you're changing
2:31so as a people who believe in God and
2:34the power of His word
2:37we must see that the purpose of his word
2:39is to change us from living and
2:43unrighteous life
2:45to live in a righteous life
2:48that's the purpose of his word
2:51his word comes to transform us it's
2:55impossible to read the Bible
2:57and to believe it and not be transformed
3:02so again the purpose for the word of God
3:06is to change us from a life of
3:09unrighteousness to a life of
3:12righteousness and to accomplish this it
3:16takes time
3:19it does
3:21so please for those of you religious
3:24people who are so quick to throw every
3:27believer under the bus
3:30when they don't quite get it right
3:34let me just remind you
3:36that change is a process
3:41it's a process
3:45not only is it a process
3:47to be a true reflection of what God
3:50wants us to be it requires three things
3:53and please pay attention
3:56because these three things are important
3:58number one it requires a total surrender
4:02to the teachings of the Bible
4:06to really be a true reflection of who
4:09God is
4:10to become the image of who God wants us
4:13to be it's going to require total
4:16surrender to the teachings of the Bible
4:18number two it requires a committed life
4:22of unwavering faith
4:26a faith that says I'm not going to quit
4:31I'm not going to give up
4:34unwavering faith I don't care what you
4:36go through for you to be a true
4:38reflection of who God wants you to be
4:41you're going to have to have Relentless
4:44faith
4:47you're going to have to tell yourself I
4:49don't care I don't care if you mess up I
4:51don't care if people are pushing you to
4:53the Limit you've got to make a decision
4:56that you're going to have faith in God
4:58no matter what even when you can't trace
5:01him you're going to believe in him
5:05number three it requires an ability to
5:09discern what your next move will be
5:12especially when when the issues of Life
5:17are greater than your human abilities
5:19and intellect
5:23that you're going to have to understand
5:26that you are going to have an ability to
5:30discern what your next move is and and I
5:32submit to you this is where a lot of us
5:34fail we do not carry the spirit of
5:37discernment
5:41we're going through our issues and we
5:43don't have the ability to discern what
5:45our next move should be
5:47how should we handle a crisis
5:49how should we handle the confusion how
5:52should we handle the criticism how
5:54should we handle the attack how should
5:57we handle when things shift in our lives
5:59maybe we lost the job maybe the economy
6:03is affecting us maybe the business is
6:05not doing so well maybe your love life
6:08wins South maybe your children are
6:10acting up maybe it's a medical crisis we
6:14fail to discern what our next move
6:18should be and therefore the actions that
6:23come out of us are not the best
6:27would trip when we should be strong
6:31we say the wrong things when a soft
6:34answer turned into wrath
6:36sometimes you just got to just shut up
6:40and let the Lord fight your battles

6:47you see change is one of our biggest
6:49struggles
6:51we have to admit that
6:53perhaps it's because when we talk about
6:56change we see it as something that is
7:00inconsistent right
7:02when people change and when you are
7:05changing you see it as something
7:07inconsistent because
7:09we all want people to remain the same to
7:14suit our own you know uh Cravings if you
7:17will we don't like to change because we
7:20love our comfort zone
7:22we struggle and fight with people who
7:24changed towards us
7:26and we criticize them for changing
7:29because they no longer perform as we
7:32expect them to
7:36so we think that people are inconsistent
7:39so listen my friends my encouragement to
7:42you today is to stop fighting the change
7:46that's taken place in your life
7:49up resisting life or the processes if
7:52you will that life takes you through to
7:55make you better and most importantly to
7:58position you to achieve God's best or
8:02his perfect will for your life
8:04stop resisting the change
8:07when things shift in your life when
8:10things are changing when people start
8:12changing around you I don't care who
8:13they be they could be family they could
8:15be friends it could be the person you're
8:17married to it could be the person you
8:19have dated and and dating at this time
8:21it could be your children it could be
8:23co-workers it could be church members it
8:25could be your best friends I don't care
8:27who it is when things are changing you
8:30got to learn to discern what your next
8:32move should be
8:39the truth is your life will be much more
8:42meaningful and enjoyable when you stop
8:45beating yourself up mentally and
8:49emotionally
8:51when you stop beating yourself mentally
8:53why are people doing this to me why is
8:56my life the way it is why why am I
8:59struggling the way I'm struggling why
9:01are people criticizing me
9:03when you when you stop mentally
9:06stressing yourself over the shift in
9:08things in your life your life will be
9:11more meaningful
9:13when you get your emotions out of the
9:16way
9:17sometimes listen I know you don't want
9:20to receive this this morning those of
9:21you are screaming I know you don't want
9:22to receive it sometimes it's good that
9:26you were left

9:34sometimes it's good that you were left
9:38in other words it's good that some
9:40people left you because had they not
9:43left you
9:44come on now you wouldn't know that you
9:47have the strength by yourself within you
9:49to trust God that with you and God alone
9:53that's all you need oh somebody ought to
9:56put a praise on that right there
10:00when you find yourself changing the way
10:03you think
10:06or the way you respond to family and
10:09friends
10:10and you're in a circle
10:12that means you are mature in
10:15into a more grounded person in the faith
10:20and you find yourself
10:23not responding the way the old man used
10:26to respond
10:28you know you're growing
10:30and I'm just talking to a few people
10:32here today only a few people were
10:34streaming today see the rest of you
10:36you're still tripping
10:38look at your neighbor and say stop
10:40tripping man
10:42you know you're maturing when you see
10:45stuff that you used to just
10:50ah only 10 people know what I'm talking
10:53about man you know you're maturing when
10:56you see things and just said
10:58uh
11:01I'm not gonna say nothing
11:03I'm not going to say nothing to that
11:06look at what second Corinthians 5 17
11:10says and I love this
11:13Paul tells us
11:14he says therefore if any person
11:17engrafted in Christ the Messiah
11:21he is a new creation a new creature all
11:27together
11:28the old previous moral and spiritual
11:31condition has passed away behold the
11:35afresh or the fresh and new has come
11:40Apollo is saying if you're in Christ
11:42Jesus
11:44and grafted in him he's saying a fresh
11:48new start
11:50is your way of life
11:52it's a new beginning for you
11:55you don't react the way you used to
11:57react you don't respond the way the old
12:00man would want you to respond so ladies
12:03and gentlemen I am convinced that very
12:06few people understand that life takes
12:09them through many processes that are
12:12designed to bring out the best in them
12:16even if the process is uncomfortable at
12:20times
12:22right now you see the challenges of your
12:25life as something to stress you out and
12:28to beat upon you and to destroy you but
12:30you've got to see it as God using it to
12:34better you and to bring the best out of
12:36you to let you become your best self
12:41you see if you can understand that life
12:43experiences are designed to bring the
12:45best in you
12:48then it will radically change your life
12:50in a positive way
12:52and I believe that's what all of us want
12:54we want to be positive we want we want
12:57to make sure that our life is a
13:00reflection of God's perfect will for us
13:02we want to make sure through all
13:05throughout all the Clutter that we go
13:07through in life that we become our best
13:10self
13:12so I want you to understand ladies and
13:15gentlemen that your job is to go through
13:18this metamorphosis if you will this this
13:21transition to constantly go through
13:25changes in life it's okay if you're not
13:28changing you're not growing
13:32don't resist change
13:34and stop saying it's demonic it's the
13:38devil the devil sometimes have nothing
13:40to do with the transition you're going
13:43through it's all God at work in your
13:46life
13:50so listen to what James chapter 1 verse
13:542 to verse 4 tells us
13:57and I love this we've read this over and
13:59over and I don't know if it makes sense
14:02to you but James says he says count it
14:05all joy yeah
14:09now if you start reading that and you're
14:11talking about you're going through a
14:12crisis and a trial in your life and and
14:15God's telling me counter Joy what am I
14:18supposed to count joy out of my
14:20struggles he says here count it Joy my
14:22brothers when you meet Trials of various
14:25kinds verse 3 for you know that the
14:29testings of the testing I should say of
14:32your faith produces what steadfastness
14:35and let steadfastness have its full
14:39effect that you may be perfect and
14:43complete lacking nothing
14:47so in order to get everything that you
14:50desire you're going to have to go
14:52through a series of tests in your life
14:55James says we should count it all joy in
14:59other words whatever the challenges are
15:02we should not complain neither should we
15:05see them as Weapons meant to defeat or
15:08destroy us
15:10pounded Joy
15:13just count it all joy man
15:15I don't know what you're going through
15:17today I don't know what your experiences
15:19are like I don't know how uncomfortable
15:22you are in life but count it all joy
15:27it's okay I get it count it all joy that
15:31maybe you had a rough week a rough month
15:33a rough year count it all joy what's the
15:36lesson in all of it what is God trying
15:38to do in my life what is he trying to
15:40teach me what are the experiences I
15:42should learn from my uh experiences in
15:45life counted all joy he says here
15:51it's in other words whenever you're
15:53going through the challenges of life
15:54don't look at it as okay God you know
15:58God's punishing me I'm defeated
16:01you know maybe something is wrong in my
16:03life the devil is just you know after me
16:05and so forth no maybe God is doing a
16:08work in you
16:10he says whenever you face with Trials of
16:14various kinds see them as God's way of
16:17getting you to change from not being
16:21effective enough if you will into
16:23someone who is complete and lacking
16:26nothing in every area of your life
16:30it is the process of the trials that
16:34change you into becoming who God
16:37ordained you to be
16:39wow man
16:41from Reading those verses what we see
16:44here clearly that the trials we face in
16:47life are designed to test our faith and
16:51to change us
16:53the trials are to test our faith and yes
16:57God will test us
17:00to test us
17:02and not only to test us but to change us
17:06to get us
17:08from being unrighteous to be righteous
17:12it's a process
17:15so Embrace whatever you're going through
17:18right now whenever your faith is tested
17:21and you handled the test correctly at
17:25least three positive things will happen
17:28are you ready for this
17:29three positive things will happen
17:32whenever you make a decision and you
17:35handle every test in your life so
17:37whatever test you're going through right
17:38now if you apply these three principles
17:41I guarantee you based on the word of God
17:43you'll come out successful
17:46number one
17:48you develop endurance to wait for God's
17:52guidance and not give up to a quit in
17:55spirit when you're under pressure
17:58whenever you develop endurance
18:01whenever you say you know what I'm not
18:04going to move until God tells me to move
18:08I'm not going to say nothing until God
18:10gives me something to say
18:12I'm going to shut my mouth I'm gonna
18:14stay in it Whatever It Is God if you saw
18:18it fit for me to go through what I'm
18:20going through well God okay I'm going to
18:23take a licking and keep on ticking I'm
18:25gonna hang in there because surely I
18:28know that my God will deliver me out of
18:31it am I talking to anybody
18:35you gotta learn to develop endurance and
18:38stop being a person who loved to quit
18:43if God puts you in a job stay on that
18:47job I don't care what you're going
18:48through now if he tells you to get out
18:50of that place you better run
18:53but if he planted you there you stay
18:55there I don't care what the boss is
18:57doing to you I don't care what the
18:59co-workers are doing to you I don't care
19:01how your check is small I don't care how
19:03you're struggling there I don't care how
19:05the drive is far you stay where God has
19:08planted you
19:10you stay there have endurance
19:14hang in there stay in the will of God
19:17and stop quitting you cannot be living
19:20five years and quit five jobs
19:24it's not the devil it's you
19:29but the devil is fighting in every job
19:31no you're fighting yourself
19:37thank you I'm going to take my time
19:39sweeter
19:43you don't do that
19:46you can't be in and out of relationships
19:49just because things don't go your way
19:52now some people now now some people need
19:55to be left alone
19:57[Applause]
19:59but if God planted you in something you
20:02stay there
20:04you hang in there don't have a quit in
20:06the spirit number two you become
20:08spiritually mature and not so quick to
20:11respond to everything that seeks your
20:14attention
20:17yeah
20:17listen to me you become spiritually
20:20mature and not so quick to respond to
20:24everything that seeks your attention you
20:27become confident and are not no longer
20:30bothered by the noise criticism and the
20:34change in circumstances
20:38that's a mature Christian
20:40that's a Christian who understand the
20:42changes that you go through
20:44and when you handle that test when
20:47people are criticizing you the noise and
20:50the Clutter and and the change in
20:52circumstances are around you you hang in
20:55there you develop endurance and you say
20:57God I'm going to stick this thing out
21:00and I don't care who's trying to seek my
21:03attention because the devil I'm telling
21:05you he knows how to distract you
21:08but if you hang in there and you say God
21:10no I am no longer bothered by the noise
21:15let people talk
21:19listen to me those of you are screaming
21:21let people talk
21:25they're not paying your rent they're not
21:27paying your bills they don't have a
21:29place to put you in let people talk it's
21:34their mouth but it's your attitude
21:37let me say it again it's their mouth but
21:40it's your attitude you don't have to
21:42respond to everything you hear
21:47who is this word for
21:51number three
21:53you develop strong faith to the degree
21:56that you don't see yourself lacking
21:59anything
22:00when you handle the test of life in a
22:03way that you say you know what I believe
22:05God I believe God is going to turn this
22:07thing around I believe that God's going
22:09to deliver me I believe that God's going
22:11to vindicate me I believe that God's
22:13going to work a way out for me to get
22:15out of this and so forth then you
22:17develop this strong faith man
22:20but you really don't like anything
22:23that you know if you're praying for
22:25resources you know my God shall supply
22:27my ever need and you know what I'm not
22:29going to rush him he knows I need to
22:31take care of certain things
22:33so I'm going to trust him that he's
22:35going to make a way
22:37so I'm not going to go to my bed I can't
22:38sleep at night I'm having nightmare now
22:41I'm going to the doctor now I got high
22:43blood pressure now I'm just mad at
22:45myself I'm mad at the dog I'm I'm
22:47walking around town mad I'm depressed
22:50I'm now I need a counselor everything no
22:52some counsels are good and I encourage
22:55people to go to counseling believe me
22:57I'm an advocate for that I believe some
22:59people need prayer and therapy laughs
23:07not just prayer alone
23:10some people need some serious therapy
23:15but I'm talking about developing such a
23:18faith that you said Lord I trust you
23:22I trust you no matter what I'm going
23:24through I trust you that I don't like
23:26anything those bills are going to be
23:28paid
23:30I am healed by your stripes
23:33glory to God you're going to silence my
23:36enemies God I know God I know you're
23:39going to open a door that no man can
23:41shut when you develop that
23:43self-confidence then nothing will move
23:45you
23:46so let's look at James chapter 1 again
23:49those same verses
23:50let's look at it from the Amplified
23:53Bible perspective it says consider it
23:57complete joyful if you will my brothers
23:59or my brethren
24:01whenever you are
24:03you know involved
24:06or you know
24:09into or you've encountered trials
24:13of any swords or fall into various
24:16Temptations
24:19be assured and understand that the
24:22trials and The Proven of your faith
24:26bring out endurance wait wait a minute
24:30let's don't risk this
24:32be assured and understand that the trial
24:37and proven of your faith
24:41the trial and proven the only way to
24:45prove if you've got faith
24:48some bad's got to happen
24:52if you're required to walk by faith
24:55every believer in the Bible says you
24:57ought to walk by faith and not by your
25:00sight if you're required to live a life
25:03of Faith you better expect God's gonna
25:05throw some problems in your path

25:14he's saying saying here that
25:17to prove your faith to bring out what
25:20endurance look when you go through the
25:22trials that's when you develop the
25:25endurance and the steadfastness and
25:27patience
25:29verse 4 says but let endurance and
25:32steadfastness and patience have full
25:35play and do a thorough work so that you
25:39may be people
25:41perfectly and fully developed
25:45because you're not yet developed
25:48there you go
25:50there you go
25:52most of you think the way to become
25:55fully developed and to have strong faith
25:58is to go to church whether you're
26:00streaming or on campus and in prison
26:02worship Lord I love you Lord I bless you
26:05thank you Jesus I just worship you I
26:08just glorify you I just bless your name
26:11and we go through all of these little
26:13spiritual kind of a thing and we think
26:16that's how we develop endurance baloney
26:21you don't develop Faith just because you
26:24worship intensely
26:27you don't develop Faith that's because
26:29you can sing good or you fast 20 hours a
26:33month or so you don't develop faith that
26:36way you only develop faith when
26:38something bad happens to you
26:42and then God steps back
26:45and say now let me see what you're going
26:47to do
26:48ah

26:54so the things we go through in life lend
26:58themselves as the birth in place for
27:02change I love that
27:05the things we go through in life lend

27:15so you've been praying Lord change me
27:17change me
27:19Lord improve me Lord I want to know you
27:22I want to remember what Paul says I want
27:25to know you in the power of your might
27:28but also
27:29in my sufferings
27:33you can not only know God through the
27:36Clapping of hands and praise and worship
27:38and good preaching
27:41and speaking in tongues and shouting
27:44and uh you you you're not going to know
27:46God just by good things happening to you
27:49so if that's your only reason of coming
27:51to God and giving your life to him is
27:54because you want to live happily ever
27:56after
27:57then just go to hell man just go to hell
27:59just go to hell
28:02because it ain't gonna happen
28:05it's not gonna happen if you really want
28:08to know God you better prepare yourself
28:10for some struggles man
28:13cause he gonna put them stuff in your
28:15path and he's gonna say now let me see
28:17what you're gonna do
28:19is it going to change you for the good
28:21for the better
28:23what's going to change you for the worse
28:26so the things we go through I have to
28:28say it again in life
28:30lend themselves as the birth and place
28:33for change and I suppose this is where
28:36most of us struggle we struggle to
28:40accept whatever we go through as God's
28:44way of changing us for greater cause
28:48so I encourage you
28:50stop looking at what you are going
28:53through has something evil unjust and
28:57unbearable
28:59don't do that
29:00instead see those things as part of the
29:04process God is using to get you to
29:08become a reflection of his image of you
29:14the way God sees you is that you are a
29:17powerful woman you're a powerful man
29:20greatness is in you he sees you as a
29:24successful individual he sees you as a
29:27mighty man of Valor he sees you as a
29:29virtuous woman he sees you as a
29:32successful man a woman husband father
29:34mother wife he sees you as a good
29:38business person or a successful person
29:40at the workplace he sees you managing
29:43your money well that's the way God sees
29:46you and if you want to see the way he
29:49see you manifest in your life then
29:52you've got to let him work it out in you
29:57gotta let him change you
30:00you got to let them allow certain things
30:02to happen in your life
30:05for his own Glory
30:07so stop looking at what you're going
30:10through
30:11as something evil and just unbearable
30:15instead I want you to see it as a part
30:17of the process that God's taking you
30:18through some of you can relate to what
30:21I'm saying today because you currently
30:24you are currently going through a change
30:28you don't understand it
30:31you've been bothered by what's happening
30:33to you God what what's up with this
30:37you're praying God stop it
30:41I need you to call them intercessors
30:43you'd call talk about faster than 40
30:45days and 40 nights no more faster no
30:47more prayer like that just handle it
30:50like a woman
30:52handle it like a man Square your
30:54shoulders and say if God chose this
30:56fight for me
30:58well I'm gonna fight my way through it
31:07this chain has changed though it may
31:09seem a bit uncomfortable
31:13it is to get you to live for greater
31:15cause and not just to be a person if you
31:18will who's responding to everything the
31:22devil throws at you
31:27you know you're not your best self
31:30you know it you're not the image of what
31:33God has called you to be because you're
31:35responding too much
31:38you allowing the changes that you're
31:40going through
31:41to change you in a negative way
31:44let the issues of life change you to
31:48become a better woman or a better man
31:52I don't care what you're going through
31:54let what God is doing in you transform
31:58you
32:00to become someone greater
32:03there's more of the attributes of Christ
32:07that have yet to come out of you you're
32:10not perfect
32:12you're not really a true reflection
32:16of the attributes of Christ therefore
32:18he's got to put some stuff in your power
32:20to birth them out of you
32:26so embrace the fact that you are no
32:29longer
32:30just rest in
32:33in your comfort zone
32:36God has stirred up your comfort zone
32:40embrace the fact that God had to remove
32:43some people from your life because they
32:47were a distraction
32:52embrace the fact that you are changing
32:55from a person who used to compromise
32:58a person who used to let everyone walk
33:02all over you and use you
33:07you're changing to someone
33:10who will put a person in check while at
33:14the same time demonstrating the Fruit of
33:17the Spirit
33:20what are you saying pastor
33:23I'm not a fool
33:25I'll put you in check
33:28while at the same time being christ-like
33:32look at the neighbor and say I ain't no
33:34fool now
33:37not a fool now I put you in check
33:40thank you
33:43become the person who says
33:46I will love you
33:49but I will no longer let you use me
33:55oh that's a good place to shout I love
33:58you
34:00but I will no longer let you use me
34:04choose
34:06Joy even though
34:08they chose misery
34:12tell yourself
34:14I chose peace even though you chose War
34:19I chose to deal with you even though you
34:22are unbearable
34:25I chose kindness even though you are
34:27unkind I chose goodness even though you
34:32chose to be bad I chose faithfulness
34:35even though you are unfaithful
34:39I chose to be gentle even though you are
34:42abusive brutal barbaric and insensitive
34:47I chose to have self-control
34:50even though you are out of control

34:57because at the end of the day at the end
35:00of the day my brothers and sisters
35:03your desires should be to let the wrong
35:05that life gives you change you into a
35:09disciple of Christ
35:12so as I close this morning be very
35:14careful
35:15that you don't become so self-centered
35:18and close-hearted that you can't see God
35:21at work in what's happening in your life
35:26be careful not to allow yourself to miss
35:29the good things
35:31of the future all because you failed
35:34to discern God's Messengers
35:37sent to correct you
35:41because sometimes God will send people
35:42whether it's to preacher friend a family
35:44member your spouse
35:48to put you in check
35:51to transform you to change you because
35:54it's the process
35:56it's going to take time to change you
36:00so therefore God will send Messengers
36:03you got to be careful that you're not so
36:05puffed up in your pride
36:08because God knows how to
36:10check you
36:14[Music]
36:16be careful not to allow yourself to miss
36:18the good things of the future or because
36:21you failed to let go of your pride
36:25you fail to follow the leading of the
36:27Holy Spirit instead of people just to
36:30please them
36:32you fail to move from a place that no
36:34longer supports God's purpose for your
36:38life you fail to walk away from places
36:40where God did not plant you
36:46to place or places where he wants you to
36:50flourish
36:51and grow
36:53so God sent me here today to tell you
36:55he's allowing the situations in your
36:57life to change you from a person who is
37:00out of alignment with his word to one
37:05who will be right
37:07in alignment
37:09so here's the good stuff here's the good
37:12stuff
37:13life is a journey that takes us all
37:17through processes that should change us
37:21for the better and make God proud of who
37:26we have become
37:29that's the goal
37:32that's the goal whatever transition
37:35you're in right now
37:37whatever have changed in your life
37:41you got to see it has God taken you
37:43through a process
37:45to make you better so he ultimately gets
37:48the glory so he's proud of you where he
37:52can say he can look down from heaven and
37:54he can say
37:56okay look at my girl
38:00she didn't say nothing
38:03she could have responded
38:05she kept her mouth shut
38:08she held fruit to her integrity
38:12look at my man
38:15held his head up
38:18he didn't flip
38:20he didn't let his emotion get in the way
38:23handled it well
38:26he showed up on the job even though he
38:29felt like quitting
38:31because he knew God planted him there
38:34I'm proud of you son
38:37I'm proud of you
38:40I'm proud of you because
38:43her intent is to completely destroy you
38:48yet
38:49because she's the mother of your
38:51children
38:52you chose not to dog her out publicly
38:58you make me proud
39:01look at you
39:03you could have stole that money
39:06the devil place it before you
39:08you're desperate
39:11you need it you could have taken it and
39:14nobody would know
39:18but though you were tempted
39:21you walked away from it
39:26[Applause]
39:29your kids disrespected you
39:33and if your old school
39:40you know how to put your kids in check
39:43do we have any old school parenting in
39:45here
39:46are streaming
39:49but your kids do some crazy stuff and
39:52God's watching you
39:54and he's saying let me see if you've
39:56been transformed

40:06I'm still working in that area
40:11the job is to ultimately make God proud
40:15so the question this morning I have for
40:18you today who are you becoming
40:22who are you becoming are you becoming a
40:24monster
40:26are you becoming someone that God's not
40:28proud of
40:30that God is just totally embarrassed
40:32about as a kingdom citizen because you
40:36keep flunking the past
40:39every time you put a test before you
40:41instead of you just get out of yourself
40:43get out of your flesh and let the Holy
40:46Spirit lead you you keep flunking the
40:48task because you always got something to
40:51prove
40:54alone
40:55and he's saying to you
40:58no you don't need to do that
41:01let me work it all out in you so again
41:04the question is who are you becoming
41:08are you changing for the better
41:11or if God would look at you this morning
41:14and put his light of righteousness on
41:17you
41:19what would happen
41:22what if God will you know like you're
41:24going to the airports I just did this
41:26recently and you're going to the airport
41:28and
41:30you know you're going through that metal
41:32detector
41:34and you go
41:36you go beep beep beep beep beep
41:39go back sir
41:40is there anything else in your pocket
41:43and you oh shoot I forgot I had this
41:45okay
41:50BBB
41:53take your jacket off sir you do that
41:55again beep
41:58and sometimes this has happened to me
42:01there's nothing there
42:04so they'll say go through this thing
42:06that I hate
42:12and you go like this and this thing just
42:15goes like this
42:18step out sir
42:20and he looks on the screen and there's
42:22something
42:24an object
42:26he says sir I'm going to pat you down
42:29and he'll pat you down
42:31and maybe there's a pacemaker or
42:33whatever I don't know
42:35here's the point
42:37sometimes
42:40we think we're slick
42:44well you know God you know God you know
42:48I'm better you know God I what I used to
42:52be God you know I'm I'm a little bit
42:54more righteous than I was last month I'm
42:58doing better and God said BBB lie
43:04there's something more on you
43:07and then he takes you into where the
43:10word
43:12begin to x-ray you
43:18and perhaps this morning the X-ray is
43:21showing
43:22that there's something here
43:25and you're saying but Pastor ain't
43:26nothing I ain't got nothing on me I'm
43:28not talking about external inside
43:32Hillary David says created me
43:35[Applause]
43:38you got clean clothes on
43:41hair is nicely done
43:44you're looking good but
43:46what is the X-ray saying about
43:51this
43:52because if this
43:54is not a reflection of his word
43:57I don't care how much you dress this up
44:01he doesn't get the glory out of it
44:04so let the Holy Spirit lead you and how
44:07you should respond to the circumstances
44:09of life
44:11it is in those circumstances that God
44:15changes and perfects you
44:19there's no denying
44:22you're changing
44:25and in the process
44:28of the changes
44:30I believe
44:32God wants to get the glory out of your
44:34life by your heads wherever you are
44:35those of you are streaming
44:38this is such
44:40a holy moment right now
44:43this is not a time for you to be
44:48thinking that this sermon applies to
44:50somebody else
44:52what about yourself
44:55what is God saying to you
45:00are you allowing the process to change
45:03you for the better
45:04are you have you gotten worse
45:10and you're in a sad condition a sad
45:13state of mind if you can't truthfully
45:15answer this
45:19I mean you're really in a bad situation
45:25lady sir please see that God has more
45:29for you
45:31and he wants to change you
45:34but it's a process
45:36it's going to take time
45:39you're here this morning and
45:41I'll deal with those of you are
45:42streaming in just a minute but you're
45:44hearing
45:45and you say pastor
45:47you know like Tamela Mann she did a song
45:49Change Me
45:52you know so I could be more a reflection
45:54of who God is
45:58you say pastor
45:59this word today oh
46:03I didn't know that I was going through a
46:04process
46:06I was kind of resisting it and
46:08now I think I know why
46:11would you pray for me sir
46:13because I don't want to miss my God
46:14moment this morning I I don't want to
46:17miss what God is trying to do in my life
46:19sir if that's your confession I don't
46:22want to miss what God's doing in my life
46:25at first I thought it was something bad
46:27but now I'm beginning to understand
46:29that it's God's doing
46:32to get the best out of me
46:35I would love to join you in prayer and
46:37if that's you I want you to rise from
46:39your seat don't even think about the
46:40person next to you don't even think that
46:43they have a heaven or a hell to put you
46:45in I want you if that's you get down
46:48here I want to pray with you right now I
46:50want to join my faith with your faith
46:54I I I want to help you
46:57to become your best self and you're
46:59never going to become your best self
47:02if you keep lying to yourself
47:05if you keep allowing
47:07your emotions and your flesh to tell you
47:10ain't nothing wrong with you you're fine
47:13the message don't apply to you
47:17if you know you're not changing for the
47:19better
47:21why accept that
47:24well don't you put more value on who you
47:27are
47:28I don't care who have rejected you I
47:30don't care what other people thought of
47:32you
47:34you got to put more value on yourself
47:35you got to believe that you are fearful
47:38and you're wonderfully made in the eyes
47:39of God
47:40you're not an afterthought
47:43there's a reason why God has allowed you
47:46to live through all the crisis coveted
47:48everything and brought you to this
47:50moment because he wants to bring the
47:52best out of you
47:54so it's a process
47:56it's the change you're going through
47:58embrace the change those of you are
48:01streaming maybe this message related to
48:03you and and you know that God has spoken
48:05to you right now I just want you to go
48:07and type your name because I'm about to
48:09pray right now and I don't want to miss
48:11you out I don't want to overlook you I
48:14wish to God you were in this building so
48:16you can join these people who are
48:18standing here in front we're not alone
48:20we all at times need God like this and
48:25I'm telling you what is to come in your
48:28future the devil sees it listen to me
48:30carefully he sees your future and he's
48:33doing everything for you to abort him
48:38he wants you to screw up so bad
48:41he wants you to Fumble the ball so bad
48:43the last thing he wants is for you to do
48:46a touchdown in your life
48:49the last thing he wants is for you to
48:52become a true reflection of who God
48:54ordained you to be
48:57he will always want you to hang around
48:59the wrong people
49:01he will always want you to be complacent
49:03and in your comfort zone
49:05never taken risk to step out of that
49:08comfort zone and trust God
49:11he will always want you to talk talk
49:13talk and listen less
49:16because a person who never listens never
49:18learn
49:20he always wants you to blame everybody
49:23else for your failures in life and you
49:26never taken responsibility
49:28he always want you to think that you
49:31know it more than anybody else and
49:33nobody else can talk to you
49:36because if he can get you into that
49:38state of mind the transformation that
49:41God wants you to have you'll never
49:42experience it
49:44but embrace the change whatever is
49:47happening
49:48some of you are going through some
49:50uncomfortable changes
49:53and you're wondering what the heck is
49:55going on
49:56you feel like God hates you and God's
49:59not with you and and here's what we love
50:01to do we love to compare ourselves with
50:04others well God you know what I ain't
50:07that righteous righteous but I know I'm
50:09more righteous than that one
50:14and how comes that one over there
50:18that I know their business look as if
50:21they're thriving better than me
50:24stop comparing yourself with people
50:26follow your own faith Journey
50:29your own path
50:32get delivered from people's opinion of
50:34Who You Are
50:40get completely delivered
50:42and become who God has called you to be
50:46so breathe for a second
50:49foreign
50:52with me
50:57let it out

51:10turn it all over to God

51:17lift your hands everybody
51:20God I've done my best to deliver this
51:22word this morning
51:26I believe some people have received it
51:29I believe that some people are embracing
51:31their change like they have never
51:33embraced it before
51:37I believe somebody's saying I will trust
51:39the process I will trust what you're
51:41taking me through even though it's
51:43uncomfortable unbearable I don't
51:45understand it but since you planted me
51:47in it
51:49you will finish the work in me
51:53so God I pray in the name of Jesus that
51:56you will strengthen these people these
51:58women these men God even those who are
52:01streaming give them the strength and
52:04give them Father the Holy Spirit allow
52:06them to use the Holy Spirit to help them
52:10get through it without being stressful
52:14so that they can truly experience Faith
52:18they can truly have the faith experience
52:21to become all that you've designed them
52:24to be I believe they'll never be the
52:26same again I believe they'll take this
52:28word and they'll leave this Auditorium
52:30they'll log off today they'll enter into
52:32a brand new week with a different
52:34attitude knowing everything that you've
52:37placed in front of them is for a reason
52:39and with the help of the Holy Spirit
52:42they will successfully finish the
52:45process God I rebuke everything that's
52:48trying to stress them out I rebuke
52:50everything that's trying to cause them
52:52to think less of a woman less of a man
52:54that you have called them to be I rebuke
52:57everything that's trying to attack them
52:59for them to end their life in the name
53:02of Jesus God I speak life I speak a
53:05willingness to trust you God I see them
53:08in the future and they look a whole lot
53:10better than they look right now so Satan
53:13the Lord
53:14you God will perfect that which concerns
53:18them in the mighty name of Jesus and
53:21father we give you the glory the praise
53:23and the honor that they are healed that
53:25they are blessed that they're anointed
53:27in Jesus mighty name and if you believe
53:30it come on give him a praise this
53:32morning
53:33come on give him a praise if you believe
53:35it
53:37come on give him a praise of your

53:46embrace the changes
53:49don't you ever get flustered anymore
53:52you are better than who the system and
53:55the circumstances is telling you you who
53:58you are
