0:10still have
0:12concern in your future concern in your
0:14life concerning
0:16where do you go from here
0:19where do you go from here
0:21you're in the month of November you're
0:23quickly closing out
0:252022 you haven't seen certain things
0:29happen in your life that you would have
0:32hoped
0:33had happened
0:35you
0:37are in desperate need of answers because
0:40perhaps you've had some losses in your
0:42life you've had some
0:45you know unwelcome situations that took
0:49place in your life and you're actually
0:51at the point of wondering if God has
0:54forgotten you
0:56is somehow that God is punishing you
1:00because of certain things you might have
1:02done in the past
1:05I can't tell you how many of you sitting
1:07in this room today
1:09under the covering of God and those of
1:12you watching
1:14knowing that God Is Right Where You Are
1:17but you're living with condemnation
1:21you're living with shame and guilt
1:24you're living in the past
1:27of what took place yesterday or years
1:30ago
1:32and you're left with that question
1:34because you're battling in your mind for
1:37a long time now who are you what are you
1:41about will you ever be successful will
1:45you ever be a winner
1:47and you're wondering
1:49are you chosen
1:51you've heard it in the word of God
1:53that you're chosen but you're wondering
1:56are you chosen so this morning the Lord
1:59wants me to tell you
2:02that you're still chosen
2:05you're still chosen
2:08see this is something you should quickly
2:10embrace
2:12you need to embrace the fact that in
2:14spite of your foolishness in spite of
2:16the craziest stuff you've done in spite
2:19of where you are in life you are still
2:22chosen
2:24and just to convince yourself because
2:26from where I'm standing looking down at
2:29some of you and I sense by the spirit of
2:31God as I am speaking to those of you who
2:34are streaming I I could see that
2:36resistance I could see that that doubt
2:40oh you know am I so to help convince you
2:44you know I believe that the Bible says
2:46that life and death it's right here it's
2:49right here so I want you to kind of just
2:51put your right hand if you will on your
2:53chest quickly everybody and those of you
2:55are streaming come on now I want you to
2:57do it and I want you to convince
2:59yourself by saying I'm still chosen
3:03come on say it again I'm still chosen
3:06one more time I'm still chosen
3:09you got to believe that you've got to
3:11confess that that you are still chosen
3:14why because God has declared it so one
3:17of the areas I believe that we're all
3:19struggling in is how to maintain our
3:23confidence as God's children in the
3:26midst of our own failures in the midst
3:29of our own failures and the pressure to
3:32live up to the expectation of society
3:35the pressure to live up to the
3:37expectation of society
3:40so many of us
3:42we're under pressure
3:45because of our own failures we made some
3:48mistakes
3:49we didn't quite get everything right and
3:52I know for many of you you're looking at
3:54other people especially people of the
3:56faith and just because they pretend a
3:59certain way you're thinking that wow you
4:02know they made few mistakes or they
4:04might not have made any mistakes at all
4:08so therefore they are closer to God than
4:11you are therefore God's going to bless
4:13them more than he would bless you and
4:16therefore you could never be chosen by
4:19God to do anything great
4:22right because this pressure of feeling
4:25ashamed of your failures
4:28shame of your past you've been molested
4:31and it's taunting you you have been uh a
4:35dogged out and your self-esteem has been
4:37crushed by your mom by your dad by your
4:40siblings by relatives you grew up with
4:43and for years nobody knew this but for
4:46years you've been struggling with this
4:48old idea of failing
4:51and somehow you feel it is now trickled
4:54over into your family
4:57your own family with your spouse or the
4:59person that you have a child with the
5:01suffering uh because of your past the
5:04trauma of your past
5:06you know you have failed because you
5:09never went to school and somehow you
5:11flunked to school throughout all the
5:14stages of of your schooling and and you
5:17didn't acquire the degree and now you
5:18recognize later in life it would have
5:21advanced you in life had you had a
5:23college degree and so forth you feel
5:25like a failure here it is okay fine you
5:29know you went out and you did your thing
5:30like some people and so forth and you
5:32got pregnant and you brought a child
5:34into the world much earlier than you
5:37would have wanted to so you failed
5:40like all of us including this preacher
5:43we have screwed up our finances
5:47we have made dumb decisions we bought
5:50things that we could
5:52have put on hold
5:55but we had to have it
5:57we've wasted money
6:00we have spent money on looking good
6:03and nothing in here
6:06and we're paying the price for it
6:10and if you're like me I felt like a
6:13financial failure at one time
6:16and the pressure of society the pressure
6:18that Society puts on you reminding you
6:21all the time you failed and because they
6:25they have set up systems to remind you
6:27of that you live with the fear and the
6:31shame
6:32because as you're streaming and as
6:34you're in this building
6:36you know your credit score is below 400.
6:41and just in case you don't know what
6:42that means that means
6:53that means bad
6:56let me just put it in a nice way that's
6:59bad we've all failed
7:03and the precious Society puts on you the
7:06pressure of girl don't you see you're in
7:09your 30s you're in your 40s and you're
7:11not married yet
7:13the pressure
7:16the pressure of society hey you've been
7:18married all these years what happened to
7:20your baby come on now
7:24the precious Society puts on you
7:28the pressure the pressure
7:31it's important to note that the standard
7:34of our society in most cases are not
7:37biblically based
7:40and this is why
7:42many have found themselves into being
7:47sucked into Trends and systems
7:52and religion
7:56even religion
7:58you see religion says here are some
8:01rules you must follow and you better
8:04not
8:06fail at following them
8:10so instead of the desire and the passion
8:12to seek and go after God we are killing
8:17ourselves to fit in
8:20to fit in a society
8:22that has redefined what success is
8:27a society that redefines who God is
8:32especially since covid
8:35so we're living every single day trying
8:39to fit in to especially people of faith
8:43into religion versus God and by the way
8:46religion is known to change its love and
8:49acceptance towards us
8:52and if we don't comply with its rules
8:55you are loved and if if you comply I
8:59should say with its rules you are loved
9:01and you're accepted
9:05but if you don't comply with its rules
9:09you're not loved
9:11you're not accepted
9:14so what religion does religion says oh
9:18you filthy rag
9:21religion says oh shame on you
9:27you did that
9:29you said those words
9:31you went to those places
9:34God will never love you that way
9:36oh look at me
9:39look at me I am your leader I am your
9:43spiritual leader and if you're ever
9:45going to make it into the kingdom of God
9:47you have to honor me
9:52you have to respect me
9:55you have to almost worship me
9:59to get to the father
10:01they've replaced Jesus
10:05and place their ego
10:09in place of Jesus
10:12but Jesus Christ is all about God's
10:18unconditional love for you that provides
10:21mercy and grace even when you don't
10:23measure up to God's standard
10:26see how different that is from religion
10:30that you are chosen listen to this you
10:32are chosen not based on your performance
10:37that you're chosen because of God's
10:40unconditional love for you
10:43it is not of works that any man should
10:46boast
10:47so you're boasting that you've been
10:50saved for 30 years or 20 years you're
10:52boasting because you you probably uh
10:56deck yourself out in the most simplest
10:58form maybe you don't wear jewelry maybe
11:01as a woman you don't wear pants maybe
11:03you don't curse maybe you don't swear oh
11:06here's a good one you don't drink right
11:08and here's another one you speak in
11:10tongues and you fast and you pray I mean
11:12maybe you've done all of those things
11:14and and you've equated that to
11:16righteousness and you've equated that to
11:18God's honoring you but the man who is
11:21out there smoking dope and the man who's
11:23out there in the nightclub and the guy
11:25and the woman who's out there sin in
11:28their life they must be a cast out devil
11:31and they could never fit into the church
11:33but let me take you back to the good
11:35book the book says he came to seek the
11:39loss
11:43that's who he was sent to
11:47to the people who are imperfect
11:49the people who are messed up and if we
11:52tell the truth we too
11:54[Applause]
11:56were once messed up
11:59a relationship with Jesus Christ offers
12:01to me I believe it offers an
12:04unconditional love that you and I cannot
12:08fathom
12:10the song that the worship team just did
12:14the amazing love of God
12:17for what he will do
12:19to go to that extent to show us love
12:24you must understand that the faith
12:27journey is not about living
12:29to please people
12:32it's not about living to please people
12:34God sent me here today to deliver some
12:37of you stop living to please people they
12:41don't have a heaven or a hell to put you
12:43in stop living to please people
12:48the faith life is about
12:50being agents of Jesus Christ who are
12:54chosen not because we are perfect or we
12:57are good people
12:59but because he truly believes in Us in
13:03spite of our imperfection he has always
13:06designed us and designed a pathway for
13:10us to be transformed into his Perfect
13:13Image
13:14here's the thing that I love about this
13:18amazing love that God has extended to
13:19all of us is that there's a pathway for
13:22you to get it right
13:25there's a pathway for you to redeem all
13:29the losses you have had there's a
13:31pathway to become the children of light
13:33there's a pathway to become the Salt and
13:36Light of the earth unlike religion
13:41a relationship with Jesus Christ
13:44gives you a pathway to Greatness
13:48and I truly believe that as Believers we
13:52must walk into that pathway let me take
13:54you to First
13:56Peter if you will chapter 2 verse 9
14:00first Peter 2 verse 9. it says but you
14:04are a chosen chosen race
14:10chosen race don't miss this you are a
14:14chosen race a royal priesthood a holy
14:18nation a people for his own possession
14:22that you may proclaim the Excellency of
14:25him who called you out of Darkness Into
14:29His Marvelous Light
14:32oh
14:35did you really fully understand what
14:38Peter is trying to tell us here
14:40to get the scope of what he's trying to
14:42tell us we must read we must read
14:46at the beginning of the chapter
14:49because the chapter we just read it
14:52opens up but you are a chosen generation
14:55that word but is a conjunction word it
14:58is joined into thoughts together
15:02so there's a thought before what he
15:04stated he says you are a chosen race a
15:09chosen people
15:11and here's the reason why he said that
15:13let's go to verse one he said he said in
15:15verse 1 of First Peter chapter 2 he said
15:18so put away he's talking about the old
15:21man now especially if you've been born
15:23again you're in the kingdom of God he
15:25says so put away all malice and all
15:27deceit and hypocrisy and envy and all
15:31slander
15:33that's not going to get you anywhere
15:34he's saying you're chosen you ought to
15:37be different
15:38as a Christian you ought to be different
15:41get rid of all malice I ain't talking to
15:43you and so forth
15:45you're a new person get rid of that like
15:48new born infants long for the pure
15:51spiritual milk that by it you may grow
15:55into salvation if indeed you have tasted
15:58that the Lord is good what he's saying
16:00if you truly got born again
16:03if you're truly transformed what will
16:05happen is you will become like a baby
16:08who goes to that Mother's breast sucking
16:10on that breast to get that milk to
16:12survive if you are truly transformed you
16:15won't be sucking on the wrong stuff

16:37verse again as newborn babes long for

16:54birth to her child her breast is full of
16:56milk when you go to the right Source now
16:58you can go to another woman yes but if
17:00she ain't got no baby you can suck on
17:02that breast all you want ain't nothing
17:05coming out and some of you are sucking
17:08on the wrong

17:13all right you all know y'all not
17:15receiving that
17:17okay let me move on because they looking
17:20at me like huh
17:22what did he just say

17:26verse 4 it says as you come to him a
17:30living Stone rejected by men oh
17:33oh wait a minute
17:35as you come to him
17:38as you come to him as living Stone
17:42rejected by men but in the sight of God
17:45Chosen and precious
17:51foreign
17:55by men
17:57because you don't fit into their
17:58narrative
18:00but God says you are chosen and you're
18:04precious and whoever he says believes in
18:07him will not be put to shame so the
18:11honor is for you who believe but for
18:14those who do not believe the stone that
18:16the builders rejected has become the
18:19Chief Cornerstone and a stone of
18:22stumbling and a rock of offense they
18:25stumble because they disobey the word as
18:28they were destined to do look at verse 9
18:30but you are a chosen race a royal
18:33priesthood a holy nation a people for
18:36his own possession that you may proclaim
18:40the Excellency of him who called you out
18:44of Darkness Into His Marvelous Light
18:49wow
18:51do you know who you are
18:54you are chosen
18:57because you came from the life of doing
19:01crazy stuff in your flesh
19:06full of malice full of Deceit
19:09hypocrisy Envy slander
19:13but now you have come into this new
19:15light
19:16and folks won't believe who you are
19:18folks won't believe that you've been
19:20transformed therefore they're going to
19:23reject you but I chose you
19:28Oh Glory to God man and this is precious
19:31so whatever
19:33you may think of yourself
19:36whatever you think of yourself
19:39whatever you may think of who you are
19:43it's not important at this stage of your
19:45life
19:46what's important to you right now is do
19:49you still think or believe that you're
19:52chosen and you have the ability to
19:54glorify God with your gifts
19:57love smile and inviting countenance and
20:03generosity
20:07I believe with all my heart I'm sent
20:09here not for everybody
20:12I've been pastoring 31 years
20:15and I realize this everybody won't like
20:17you
20:21and I'm not the only one
20:23everybody won't like you
20:25but I really do believe in my heart
20:28that this message was tailored for a few
20:31people
20:34you have been doubting yourself and
20:36you've been wondering
20:38does God still love you does he still
20:40want the best for you
20:43and he told me to tell you you're still
20:46chosen

20:48you're still chosen because of your
20:50identity that he wants you to understand
20:53that he wants you to glorify him with
20:57your gifts their talents and Gifts in
21:00you that the devil cannot kill he wants
21:03you watch this to still demonstrate your
21:05love
21:08this is this this is an area where
21:11especially for us in the body of Christ
21:14we have
21:16flunked the love test
21:21our love is conditional
21:29you're sitting here you're streaming and
21:32you know it
21:34that your love is not pure
21:41and you will never be your best self
21:45when you have Tainted Love
21:47when that love is not genuine your
21:51smiles are fake
21:53when your love is not genuine that
21:56relationship has no oxygen to survive
22:01when your love is Tainted I'm telling
22:05you your personality
22:08will show
22:11and that's where God wants to get us all
22:13he wants to get us to this place where
22:15we understand we're chosen to Love In An
22:19unlovable world
22:22we're chosen in a world that will give
22:25fake smile that he's saying you are
22:28chosen to show the Excellency of my
22:33glory where you can step into a hectic
22:37toxic environment and just by your smile
22:42just by your personality you demand
22:46change in the room
22:49all right
22:52you wherever you go when you leave here
22:55today and you walk in your house I don't
22:57care how the devil is has taken control
23:00over your house when you walk in your
23:02house your anointing should shift the
23:05atmosphere in that house
23:09I declare to you when you get to your
23:12job tomorrow I don't care what demons
23:14and devils are working at that workplace
23:17when you step foot on that property you
23:21ought to shift the atmosphere why
23:23because you are a carrier of God's
23:26anointing
23:27everybody
23:30you must change the atmosphere
23:34which you love
23:36and you're inviting countenance
23:40and generosity
23:43I'll be walking around as an agent of
23:45Jesus Christ with a sour look a sour
23:48attitude
23:50and people don't want to be around you
23:53your wife about to leave you your
23:55husband about to leave you your kids
23:57scatter you even the dog go under the
24:00bed when you show up change that
24:03[Applause]
24:04change your personality God didn't that
24:07that ain't no deep spiritual stuff on
24:09this deep Spirit no that's the devil
24:11that's ugly it ugly
24:15it's ugly
24:17there ain't nothing about spirituality
24:20I'm deep I'm just I'm just meditating no
24:24ain't nothing stink around here

24:33believe me when I tell you
24:35you can still bear fruits
24:39of success
24:41once you embrace the fact that you have
24:43been chosen by God you know his ultimate
24:46desire is for you to be at your best
24:49self
24:51and the fact that he wants you to stand
24:54out from the darkness of this world
24:58that's the moment my friends shame fear
25:02and condemnation no longer will control
25:05you
25:07believe me when I say to you
25:09you can still bear the fruits of a
25:12successful life
25:14just align yourself up to the will of
25:15God that's all
25:17he told us that that a few weeks ago
25:19align yourself up to his will so so I I
25:23get it I get it I hear what you're
25:25saying
25:26I hear what you're saying as you're
25:28streaming and I know you're throwing
25:30words back at the preacher because you
25:31always have to defend yourself I get
25:33that so so so so you've made some
25:35mistakes right I I get it you you've
25:38made some bad choices
25:40I get it
25:43you've had some losses in areas of your
25:45life
25:48you have had some bad connections with a
25:50few people that
25:52has damaged
25:54your life
25:59there are some of you who have lost
26:02opportunity Wasted Years
26:07lost a whole lot of money
26:12and sadly
26:14lost your dignity and pride
26:18because you just
26:21got connected
26:24to some people
26:26who you should have never
26:30ever
26:33opened the door to me
26:37that X
26:40that friend
26:44some of you are divorced
26:48and
26:49because of that marriage that you knew
26:53you weren't supposed to be in
26:56till this day you're paying the price of
27:00that mistake
27:03so what
27:07you made some dumb choices I have made
27:10some dumb stupid
27:15ugly
27:16ungodly
27:18crazy
27:19bad choices
27:22but what I want to know is this
27:25do you still believe
27:29that you're chosen
27:31[Applause]
27:36that you're chosen and you're still
27:39have what it takes
27:42to be God's man
27:46or God's woman
27:49how would you feel if I told you today
27:52that you
27:54are still chosen in that
27:57you will accomplish God's purpose for
27:59your life
28:01yes you're still chosen
28:04you're chosen and appointed to show the
28:07Excellency of God's transforming power
28:11in every area of your life
28:16so you can my friends
28:19you can
28:22you can give hope to others
28:25you can this is why I I I I can never
28:29trust religion
28:31because it practiced a philosophy that
28:34says
28:35you know
28:38we're a denomination
28:41and we are the leaders
28:44who choose whom we deem
28:48Worthy or unworthy
28:52but when when it comes to Jesus here's
28:55what he says he says I chose you
28:58as my prize possession
29:01he didn't choose us because we were good
29:05he didn't choose us because
29:07everything we got right
29:11no
29:12he chose us because we are his prize
29:15possession look at what John 15 16 says
29:19as I try to close this man and pray for
29:21some of you
29:23he says you did not choose me hmm
29:27you didn't
29:29so cut that bragging out
29:31I chose God
29:33as if you don't have
29:35him as your only choice
29:38what other choice do you have
29:41I chose God no you didn't choose me
29:45but I chose you
29:48not only did I
29:50chose you but I appointed you that you
29:53should go and bear fruit
29:56and that your fruit should abide
30:00ah
30:02so that whatever you ask in the father
30:05in my name he may give it to you I love
30:08this
30:09so that means you and I still have the
30:12opportunity to be fruitful to be
30:14successful because the word of the Lord
30:16says here I chose you and appointed you
30:19so that you should go out and bear fruit
30:21and that your fruit would abide
30:24so God sent me here today
30:26to specifically tell you that nothing
30:29you have done and the struggles you are
30:31engaged in can change the fact that you
30:35are chosen and you're appointed
30:43so whatever struggles you are dealing
30:46with and secretly battling
30:49please know that
30:51you are chosen and it's a lie
30:55that
30:58you have to be perfect
31:02for God to use you
31:06let me show you how that's a lie
31:09and maybe this will give you hope listen
31:12to me young lady you're watching
31:15and the devil keeps bringing up your
31:18past
31:20let me tell you why
31:22he's doing that because
31:25somehow I don't know why you see
31:27religion would never religion would
31:29never ever do this
31:34[Music]
31:35and that's why the devil is trying to
31:37suck you into religion so when it fails
31:40you then you have no connection with God
31:42because then you're saying oh this is
31:43what God's all about no
31:46no
31:50no that's not about all that stuff
31:54because when Jesus came to Earth and in
31:57the last three and a half years of his
31:59ministry he decided watch this he
32:02decided to pick his disciples these are
32:04leaders who are now going to be the
32:07foundation Builders of his church
32:11the same church he said must be a
32:14perfect spotless Church
32:17[Music]
32:18he's getting ready to select these guys
32:24and he walked past the temple
32:28every Temple every synagogue he walked
32:32past them and every one of the disciples
32:36everyone
32:37not one of them he took out of the
32:41Temple
32:44[Applause]
32:48this is his church
32:50that he's getting rid of the build and
32:52he went outside of the church
32:56and God people
32:59who did not have him on their minds
33:03and said you are my disciple come follow
33:07me
33:10I got something better than that
33:12Moses with his speech impediment
33:16was used by God when he didn't have the
33:20confidence
33:21in himself
33:24he couldn't speak properly how are you
33:26going to be a speaker
33:29leading a whole bunch of Israelites by
33:33the way who are students of the word
33:36educated lawyers and doctors and so
33:39forth and you gonna say You're Gonna
33:41Stand and preach to millions and lead
33:45them through some of the toughest times
33:50Moses I can't do this like many of you
33:52it's your fear I can't I don't think I'm
33:55worthy I don't think I can pass this
33:57exam I don't think I can be this Moses
34:00struggled with that also
34:03but God chose him
34:06didn't you think that when he was born
34:08God knew it took a long time for him to
34:11say his ABCs
34:16don't you think society says Ada or
34:20whatever they call it
34:22ADHD or whatever they call it whatever
34:25don't you think don't you think God knew
34:29that Moses Moses had a speech delay
34:34it even gets better because I know what
34:37some of you are thinking I know what
34:38you're thinking sir
34:41well
34:42I screwed up my life
34:45I
34:47I did this years ago
34:51I have a police record
34:53I carried a gun
34:55I had a bad history
34:58the same guy Moses
35:01who had a speech impediment
35:03one day he showed up
35:06and saw an Egyptian beating one of his
35:10own people
35:12read your Bible
35:14beaten one of his own people and like
35:16any human being
35:19Moses was livid
35:22you Egyptian beating up one of my people
35:26the Israelites read it the Bible says
35:29Moses grab that sucker and beat the hell
35:32out of him and killed him
35:34true story killed him
35:38killed him
35:40and buried him in the sand
35:43and the way he killed him he makes it
35:46read the Bible Moses made sure nobody
35:48was looking around
35:50because he knew I'm gonna kill
35:52I'm going to kill him today

35:57even though he was a murderer
36:04and murderer became a pastor
36:10foreign

36:14religion oh no you can't be qualified
36:17for that no
36:20no you can never be a pastor you you did
36:23what
36:25he did that
36:27what about sister Tamar
36:31sister Tamar by the way in the Book of
36:33Genesis
36:34had some situations going on in her life
36:38you know her first husband
36:40God killed her first husband because he
36:44wasn't doing right
36:47that first husband God just strike him
36:48dead
36:50never left her any children back in
36:52those days to have children and to keep
