Summary

Bishop Henry Fernandez explores the encounter between Jesus and the Samaritan woman to show that true worship must be unfiltered and heart-centered, moving beyond religious distractions to a life-changing relationship with the Messiah.

Key points
  • True worship is 'unfiltered,' meaning it is raw, honest, and authentic rather than a polished religious performance.
  • Using religion as a distraction or a debate topic (like the Samaritan woman) is often a way to avoid personal responsibility and heart-exposure before God.
  • Worship is defined by 'who' we worship and the state of our hearts, not by the location or the outward expression of our lips.
  • An authentic encounter with Jesus leads to a total change in priorities, symbolized by the woman leaving her water jar to tell others about Christ.

This week, stop using religious routines as a mask; spend time in your 'secret closet' with just your Bible and an open heart, asking God to expose your truth and quench your spiritual thirst.

Reflection questions
  1. In what ways have you used church attendance or religious activities as a 'performance' rather than a connection with God?
  2. What 'water jars' or temporary comforts are you holding onto that prevent you from fully surrendering to Jesus?
  3. Are you coming to God only to get your 'container' filled for the week, or are you seeking to know Him personally?
  4. Who in your life needs to hear your 'Come see a man' testimony of what Jesus has done for you?

0:00So let us continue on the series worship
0:04unfiltered. Now last week if you can
0:07recall
0:09I shared that worship unto God must be
0:14without mask
0:17without excuses
0:19without religious performance
0:22because true worship is not polished.
0:27It's not polished
0:29uh for public approval.
0:32>> It is not dressing
0:35yourself up in an act or to perform,
0:39whether it's by the lifting of hands,
0:42whether it's by the movements we make
0:45when we say we feel the spirit of God
0:47flowing in our human body.
0:50That's not true worship. That's not
0:53unfiltered worship. unfiltered worship
0:57is raw, honest and authentic before God.
1:04You see, God is not interested in what
1:06looks spiritual on one side
1:11because if the heart is disconnected on
1:15the inside, then it's not true worship.
1:21Let's look at 1st Samuel 16:7.
1:25It says, "Man looks at the outward
1:29appearance." Are you with me?
1:31>> It says, "Man looks at the outward
1:34appearance, but the Lord looks at
1:39>> the heart."
1:41>> See, man would look at how you dress,
1:45how you speak, how you conduct yourself.
1:48But God says, "I look beyond that. I
1:50look at your heart. So worship
1:53unfiltered
1:55will expose the heart. In John chapter
1:594, Jesus encounters a Samaritan woman at
2:04the well. We spoke about it last week.
2:06And this meeting was not accidental. It
2:10was not. It was intentional. It was
2:14strategic and deeply personal for both
2:18Jesus and this woman.
2:20This woman came to the well, watch this,
2:23thirsty.
2:25Not just physically thirsty, but she was
2:29spiritually
2:30thirsty.
2:32And in one conversation with Jesus, her
2:36thirst for life and the meaning of life
2:41and the validation of life began to be
2:44quenched. That's what's happening to all
2:47of us today.
2:49>> We're thirsty for the move of God. We're
2:53thirsty for God to show himself up in
2:57our lives. We're thirsty for success.
3:01We're thirsty for happiness. We're
3:03thirsty for peace. We're thirsty for a
3:07healthy family. We're thirsty to be
3:10healthy ourselves.
3:14But what are we pursuing to quench that
3:18thirst?
3:21>> Because you see, money alone is never
3:24going to quench your thirst.
3:27>> Having somebody in your life to date or
3:29to marry or having children, raising a
3:32family, starting a business, those
3:35things will not quench your spiritual
3:39thirst.
3:41You see, this encounter this woman had
3:44exposed her truth.
3:46It exposed her past and her present
3:50need.
3:52Now, not to shame this woman,
3:55but I want you to understand what the
3:57experience she had with Jesus was all
4:00about freeing her.
4:03You will notice that when Jesus met her
4:06and told her of all of her issues, one
4:09would think, why would he embarrass that
4:11woman? No, he did not because he even
4:14sent the disciples away to get food. He
4:18didn't want the disciples to hear that
4:20kind of a conversation because that was
4:22personal for this woman. See, Jesus is
4:26not willing or or or stands ready to
4:29embarrass us.
4:31He wants to free us.
4:34>> So notice what this woman encounter with
4:38Jesus did in John chapter 4 verse 19.
4:42She says, "Sir, I perceive that you are
4:45a prophet." Then in verse 20, she shifts
4:48the conversation to a religious debate.
4:53She says, "Our fathers, watch this,
4:56worship on this mountain, but you Jews
5:00say that Jerusalem IS THE PLACE where
5:04people ought to worship."
5:06I mean, she was there
5:09looking to quench her thirst. And Jesus
5:13started having this conversation with
5:14her trying to meet her need. And she
5:18instantly brought up the issue. Well, we
5:21people worship this way in this
5:23mountain. Our forefathers, but you know,
5:26you people, you Jews, you worship in
5:29Jerusalem. As if the place where you
5:32worship matters the most to God.
5:35>> I'm going somewhere with this. NOTICE
5:38WHAT SHE WAS doing here. She moves the
5:40conversation, watch this, from personal
5:43[clears throat]
5:44exposure to a religious distraction.
5:50>> That's why many of us are are kind of uh
5:55shifting the conversation in our society
5:57today from personal responsibility
6:02to now a distraction.
6:05We don't want to take full
6:07responsibility of who we are.
6:10So, we distract the conversation.
6:13Especially when you're witnessing to
6:14people and you're telling people about
6:16God, before you know it, they'll throw
6:18all kinds of stuff in your face. Well, I
6:20don't believe in God. I believe in
6:22church cuz most of the people are
6:25hypocrites and whatever they they out
6:26there saying and so forth, it's a
6:29distraction. You see, that's what many
6:31of us do when God gets ready to come
6:36close to us to expose our truth.
6:41We change the subject.
6:44We hide behind doctrine, tradition, and
6:47ritual. But Jesus didn't allow this
6:51woman to distract him from pursuing her.
6:57So true worship has nothing to do with
6:59location or performance. Has nothing to
7:02do with that. Remember what I said last
7:05week about this woman. Remember what I
7:08said? I said that this woman, right,
7:12came to Jesus and she needed she needed
7:18something from the well, but ended up
7:21getting something greater from the well.
7:24See, some of you are seeking for certain
7:26things in life, not knowing those things
7:29cannot satisfy you. And Jesus is trying
7:32to OFFER YOU SOMETHING GREATER THAN WHAT
7:34YOU'RE SEARCHING FOR.
7:38>> What's Jesus response in John 4 21? He
7:43says,"Woman, believe me." Watch this. He
7:45said, "The hour is coming when neither
7:48on this mountain nor in Jerusalem will
7:50you worship the Father.
7:53But the hour is coming," he says, "and
7:55now is when true worshippers, unfiltered
8:00worship, will worship the father in
8:04spirit and in truth."
8:07>> Then he makes this statement in verse
8:0924. He said, "God is a spirit and those
8:13who worship him must
8:17worship him in spirit and in truth." You
8:20cannot worship God just with your
8:23religious kind of actions. You can't
8:25just worship God just because you got a
8:27good voice. You can't just worship God
8:29just because you make certain moves. No,
8:32he says you must worship him in spirit.
8:34And the only way you can worship God in
8:36spirit and in tr truth, he has to have
8:39access to your heart.
8:45>> He has to have access to your heart.
8:49>> Watch this.
8:52Unfiltered worship is not a suggestion.
8:56It is a requirement. Amen.
8:59>> Worship is no longer about where you
9:03worship. It's about who
9:07>> you worship.
9:09>> It's not where. Well, we're going to the
9:11faith center to worship. If you only
9:13come here to worship and when you leave
9:15this building or you log off and you
9:18don't worship, you're not worshiping
9:19God.
9:22>> It's not about a location.
9:25>> It's about what's in the heart.
9:27Come on now.
9:29>> With everything that's happening in
9:30America and around the world today,
9:33there has never been a greater need,
9:35never been a greater need for the church
9:39to come before God
9:41>> without mask,
9:44>> without religious routines
9:46>> and without pretending.
9:54Do you not know that some of the
9:56dilemmas you find yourself in,
10:00you caused it?
10:06>> We We love to deflect. We love to brush
10:09it off. The devil is after me. The devil
10:12is working in the church. The devil is
10:14working in America. And the devil is
10:16taking over America. No. No. No. No. No.
10:19We opened the door for the devil
10:22>> to work.
10:29>> We caused it.
10:32A lot of the things you find yourself in
10:34life battling, you caused it.
10:40>> Thank you.
10:43>> YOU OPENED THE DOOR FOR IT.
10:46>> Come on now. THIS COUNTRY. WE OPEN THE
10:48DOOR FOR WHAT we're dealing with.
10:59>> What we are experiencing right now, we
11:02package it under Christianity,
11:05endorsed it, embraced it, and whoops,
11:09there it is.
11:13>> The chickens are coming home.
11:21So be careful
11:23>> of when we say to ourselves, "We're not
11:27wearing any mask cuz God sees the
11:29heart."
11:32>> And it's time the church stop
11:35pretending.
11:37>> Stop masking things.
11:41The reason why we are where we are is
11:44because we only worship on the mountain.
11:51>> We only worship on the mountain.
11:56We only worship to be seen.
12:04Glory to God.
12:07And we can't get our thirst quenched
12:10because it's a performance.
12:13>> See, God is not impressed by our
12:15vocabulary, our giftings or our external
12:20EXPRESSIONS IF OUR HEARTS ARE FAR FROM
12:24HIM.
12:26In Matthew 15 verse 8, it says, "The
12:30people honor me with their lips,
12:34>> but their hearts."
12:39>> So don't you try to tell me that worship
12:41with your lips and all this noise that
12:43we make
12:44that don't impress God
12:47>> because you can shout, "Hallelujah.
12:50Praise the Lord. Thank you Jesus." and
12:53your heart is far from him.
12:56>> Have you ever wondered why the church is
12:58struggling to reap the harvest?
13:02>> You ever wonder why we struggle to be
13:04the salt and light of the earth?
13:08>> You know, because we're like them.
13:14>> You can't change somebody else
13:19to be something that you're not.
13:26Because the body of Christ was given a
13:29mandate to take the love of Jesus Christ
13:31to the unbeliever.
13:33Not only should we fulfill our Godgiven
13:37purpose on the earth, but we are
13:39mandated to take the principles of the
13:42kingdom of God to the kingdom of
13:45darkness. And I submit to you today, we
13:49are not reaping the harvest. We are we
13:52were sent to reap because many believers
13:56have never had a meaningful encounter
14:00with Jesus
14:02>> like the woman at the well.
14:07Oh, we go to church.
14:10We perform.
14:12But we've never had an encounter.
14:15When you have an encounter with God in
14:17your life, it changes the way you
14:20worship.
14:24You see, MOST OF US, WE SHOW UP, WE
14:27ATTEND SERVICES, WE HEAR SERMONS,
14:31but much of it is driven by
14:34self-interest.
14:36>> We come asking every week, we log on
14:39every week, what can I get from the
14:43service?
14:44Will I be encouraged by the sermon
14:46today?
14:48WILL MY PROBLEMS BE SOLVED? Preach
14:51something to me, Henry, so that my
14:54problems will go away.
14:57And if we're really honest with
14:59ourselves, many of us come to church
15:02judging the service,
15:05>> analyzing the worship,
15:07>> critiquing the word
15:10while never truly worship God.
15:16Never.
15:19And like this woman, we come with our
15:22containers
15:23just trying to get enough to get us
15:27through the week. You come with your
15:29container, your appetite, your heart.
15:34Give me a word. Give me a word to get me
15:36throughout the week. Help me. Preach me
15:39happy.
15:41Say something blessed to me.
15:44Because we come with our containers.
15:47Watch this.
15:49Not to be filled by God, but to be
15:52filled with performance.
15:56>> Perform till you fill me up.
16:01>> Shout till you fill me up.
16:04>> Say something nice till you fill me up.
16:08Play the organ and make me dance until
16:12you fill me up.
16:15You see, you can't be in God's presence
16:18and not know him.
16:22>> Let me say it again. You cannot be in
16:25the presence of God and not know him.
16:27I'll prove it to you. Here's what verse
16:3025 says. The woman says, "I know that
16:33Messiah is coming." Wait a minute. She's
16:35talking to Jesus.
16:38SHE'S IN THE PRESENCE of Jesus. brought
16:41up the whole issue of racism, classism,
16:46you Jews, we're not supposed to be with
16:49YOU GUYS. SHE BROUGHT UP ALL THESE
16:51RELIGIOUS THINGS and she's talking to
16:54the Messiah and here's her word. I know
16:57that the MESSIAH IS COMING. IT'S NOT
17:00THAT HE'S RIGHT IN FRONT OF HER.
17:05>> HOW BLIND CAN WE BE THAT WE COULD BE IN
17:08CHURCH? GOD SEND YOUR BLESSING. SEND
17:11YOUR BLESSING. SEND YOUR BLESSING. WHEN
17:13THE BLESSING is right
17:16in front of you.
17:19How do I know that? SURELY GOODNESS AND
17:22mercy shall
17:24>> FOLLOW YOU. NOT JUST ON SUNDAY. HENRY
17:28FERNANDEZ DON'T HAVE ANY BLESSINGS TO
17:31GIVE YOU. WHEN YOU WAKE UP TOMORROW
17:33MORNING, IF YOU'RE IN THE PRESENCE OF
17:36GOD, THE BLESSINGS ARE THERE ALSO.
17:41[applause] Are you hearing me this
17:42morning?
17:44>> I know that Messiah is coming. When he
17:46comes, he will tell us all things. He's
17:50telling her all things, the things that
17:52she need in that moment. [singing]
17:56and she's still waiting
17:58for the revelation of all things.
18:01You know how many of you will sit in
18:03here every week and stream every week?
18:07And I'm not just talking about this
18:08pastor. You know how many people go to
18:10their churches and their pastors are
18:12preaching the word of God every week and
18:15every week and they'll sit there and
18:18become common with the leader. But you
18:20let a prophet
18:22>> or a visiting speaker come from out of
18:24town
18:26say the same word or less than what they
18:29are preaching and all of a sudden, oh my
18:31god, what a word today. Oh, wonderful.
18:39>> Oh my god, that was such a real word
18:42from the Lord.
18:58>> [applause]
19:00>> This is what Jesus replied to her. He
19:02said,
19:03>> "I who speak to you,
19:07>> I mean, he,
19:10>> I'm the Christ.
19:13>> I'm the Messiah.
19:15>> I'm right before you."
19:18This was a sobering truth for this
19:21Samaritan woman because she was talking
19:24to Jesus and didn't even know
19:28>> who he was.
19:30Didn't even know it was Jesus.
19:33How many times you've come into the
19:35presence of God, you're balling your
19:37eyes out. Lord, Lord, I need your
19:40presence. Come in my home. Come in my
19:43job. Come in my finances. Come in. Come,
19:46come, come. And we miss the whole moment
19:51of knowing that he's right there. He
19:54said, "I'll never leave you."
19:58>> But but you're looking for performance.
20:03>> That's why you cannot worship
20:05>> in an unfiltered way. You have to have
20:09something to push you. You have to have
20:11something to quench that thirst. You got
20:13to have some gimmicks or something to to
20:16make you feel that God is speaking to
20:19you. Do you not know? Oh, thank you,
20:21Holy Spirit. Do you not know if you pick
20:24up your Bible by yourself
20:27and stay in your secret closet and study
20:31the word of God, do you not know you
20:33don't need Henry Fernandez or another
20:35preacher to encourage you in the word?
20:39Cuz you will know the word for yourself.
20:41You will know the truth of the word of
20:43God. And the Bible says the truth you
20:46know, it will set you free.
20:50>> Come on, somebody ought to give God a
20:51praise right there.
20:54>> Come on now. I'm preaching it here.
21:00>> You see, you you can be around THE
21:02THINGS OF GOD AND still not know God.
21:07You can SING AND WORSHIP GOD IN SONGS
21:11AND STILL NOT worship God.
21:14>> You can attend church and still miss
21:17>> who Jesus is
21:19>> because Matthew 7:23
21:22says, "I never knew you."
21:26>> You You can be around God
21:30>> and God don't know you. Remember the
21:32story with the woman with the issue of
21:33blood?
21:34Everybody was in the crowd. And one
21:37woman from outside of the crowd,
21:40>> made her way to Jesus.
21:43>> And when he got when she got through the
21:45crowd and touched the hem of his
21:46garment, Jesus said, "Who touched me?"
21:50People were in the crowd saying, "What
21:52kind of a question is that?"
21:54>> Look at all these people in the crowd
21:57and you are questioning who touched you.
21:59You see, they missed the message. Just
22:01because you're in the crowd don't mean
22:04you're touching him.
22:08>> Just because you're in the service don't
22:12mean you're touching him.
22:14>> Come on. You can be in the presence of
22:16God, but he feels nothing from you
22:19because your worship is not unfiltered.
22:28See, because before you worship God, you
22:31got to check as if your makeup is all
22:34put into place. You got to make sure
22:36you're all cuz it's a performance.
22:40>> It's a performance. You come to church
22:43empty because you got to get something
22:45out of here to take you throughout the
22:48week. So, you're worried, watch this,
22:50you're worried about your container.
22:54You're watching your container. You're
22:56watching your time
22:58>> container
22:59>> controlled environment. You're watching
23:02everything because I don't want to lose
23:05my container because that's how I am
23:08being sustained.
23:13haven't tapped into the well that Jesus
23:16has to offer you
23:19>> that will cause you never to thirst
23:22again.
23:24>> Because you see, you cannot introduce
23:27people to Christ who you barely know
23:30yourself.
23:37Maybe that's the reason why we're not
23:40doing such a good job
23:42>> in evangelizing the world.
23:45>> How can you introduce to others a person
23:50you barely know?
23:55[snorts]
23:55>> Oh yeah, YOU CAN. OH, MY PASTOR IS HENRY
23:58FERNANDEZ. HE WAS BORN ON MAY 1ST, 1964.
24:03He's from Jamaica. He went to Brooklyn,
24:05New York. And he CAME TO FLORIDA. HE
24:07STARTED THIS. YOU CAN TALK A LOT ABOUT
24:09YOUR PASTOR.
24:13>> Let's talk about Jesus.
24:18>> What can you tell me about him?
24:23>> Can't.
24:25>> YOU CAN TALK ABOUT EVERYTHING THAT'S
24:27GOING ON IN THE WORLD.
24:31YOU CAN TALK ABOUT THE DRAMA OF THE
24:33WORLD. [crying]
24:36>> YOU CAN TALK ABOUT AUGUST OF OF THIS
24:39LAST YEAR, THIS CHURCH WENT THROUGH A
24:41SPLIT.
24:43>> YOU CAN TALK ABOUT SOME PEOPLE LEFT
24:44FERNANDEZ AND SOME PEOPLE STAYED AND IT
24:46WAS A MESS. AND YOU YOU KNOW THE INS AND
24:48OUT. YOU EVEN MAKE UP YOUR OWN STORY.
24:54>> You don't know the truth about nothing.
24:58AND YOU CAN TALK ABOUT EVERYTHING ABOUT
25:00THIS CHURCH. YOU CAN TALK ABOUT THE
25:02WHITE HOUSE. YOU CAN TALK ABOUT THE
25:04DEMOCRATS. YOU CAN TALK ABOUT THE
25:05REPUBLIC. YOU CAN TALK ABOUT EVERYTHING.
25:07YOU CAN TALK ABOUT HOLLYWOOD. YOU CAN
25:09TALK ABOUT ALL THE ACTORS. YOU CAN TALK
25:12ABOUT ALL THE INFLUENCERS. YOU CAN TALK
25:14ABOUT THE DRAMA with what's that girl's
25:16name again? Um uh that that that girl
25:19from Trinidad. Um Nicki Minaj.
25:31you know about her history.
25:37>> Let's talk about
25:39>> Jesus.
25:45[applause]
25:50>> Can't talk about him.
25:52You know why you can't talk about him?
25:55>> Because you don't know him.
26:01>> You don't know him.
26:04>> When somebody start confronting you with
26:05the truth,
26:07>> you're just like the Samaritan woman.
26:09You'll get in your feelings.
26:18>> But here's the thing. What I love about
26:20Jesus, his relentless pursuit of this
26:23woman
26:25was real. It was all about authentic
26:28worship. Jesus did not rush this woman.
26:32He stayed in the conversation with her.
26:35He confronted her reality and he
26:38challenged her belief system.
26:42And when the disciples returned in John
26:454 27,
26:48they were shocked.
26:50Shocked to see Jesus in a conversation
26:52with this woman and they said nothing.
26:55Nothing. They said nothing. But in verse
26:5728,
26:59here's what hit me. As I try to bring
27:03the store closed, here's what really got
27:06me.
27:08The Bible says the woman, watch this,
27:11remember she came to the well with her
27:14jar,
27:15>> her container,
27:18>> the woman after having such an amazing
27:20conversation with Jesus left her water
27:24jar.
27:34Cuz when you have an encounter with
27:36Jesus
27:39>> and you truly worship him,
27:42you're going to find out the stuff
27:44you've been holding on to.
27:47>> The things that you think is what's
27:49going to sustain you, you're going to
27:52finally realize, I don't need those
27:55things.
27:57YOU CAN HAVE THE WHOLE WORLD,
28:00but just give me Jesus.
28:03Come on now. YOU CAN HAVE THE
28:04FRIENDSHIP. You can have the money. You
28:06can have the fame. But just give me
28:09Jesus. Somebody give God a praise right
28:12there.
28:13[music]
28:15She
28:17came to get water
28:19>> and she left her water jar
28:23>> because now she
28:25>> is in a relationship with Jesus.
28:29This is align in an alignment I should
28:32say with Matthew 6:33. But seeking first
28:34the kingdom of God and his righteousness
28:36and all the things you need. See, when
28:38God is first, you don't have to hold on
28:40to the stuff, man.
28:43>> That's not fulfilling your need.
28:47Her encounter was so real with Jesus
28:51that watch this now. She went to the
28:53streets
28:55in verse 29.
28:57After she had this amazing encounter
29:00with Jesus, she went out there and she
29:04said,
29:05"Hey everybody.
29:07Hey hey
29:10I got something to tell you.
29:14>> YOU SEE THIS WOMAN? YOU'RE LOOKING AT A
29:17GOD DID SOMETHING AMAZING for me.
29:22SOMETHING THAT NO MAN COULD EVER DO FOR
29:25ME. I TRIED FIVE OF THEM,
29:31BUT WHAT THIS ONE DID FOR ME,
29:34I got to tell it wherever I go.
29:39YOU WANT GOD TO DO SOMETHING FOR YOU?
29:41Come see a man. [music]
29:45>> Oh, you don't you don't hear me this
29:46morning.
29:48SHE YELLED IN THE STREETS, "Come see a
29:51man
29:53>> who told me all I ever did."
29:58>> She didn't say, "Come see a pastor or
30:00priest."
30:04>> Cuz you see, we don't know everything.
30:06>> She said, "Come see a man
30:09>> who told me
30:11>> everything I ever did."
30:15I come this morning to tell some of you
30:18>> who are getting up every day
30:21>> with containers,
30:23>> hustling,
30:25hustling, going to your place of
30:27business, work, hustling, trying to make
30:30ends meet, hustling to find a good
30:32woman, hustling to find a good man,
30:34hustling to pay your bills, and hustling
30:37to do life. I've come by to tell you the
30:40day
30:42you drop your hustling
30:49>> and have a conversation with Jesus
30:54>> and tell him, "I surrender
30:58all to you. I surrender all to you. I
31:02freely give God. I surrender my thoughts
31:05to you. I surrender my ways to you. I
31:08surrender my relationships to you. I
31:11surrender everything to you, God. I
31:13surrender my words, my actions. The
31:16moment you do that,
31:19>> you're going to find out the things
31:21you're holding on to in life, you don't
31:23need them.
31:26>> She left her water jar
31:30>> and became an evangelist overnight.
31:33Amen.
31:34>> Cuz whenever you truly worship him,
31:39>> there's no way
31:41>> you'll keep it to yourself.
31:44>> There's no way you keep what God is
31:47doing to you
31:50to yourself. Bow your heads with me.
31:52>> Hallelujah. Father, I thank you
31:56>> that you have spoken to this church
31:59like you're speaking to many churches
32:01across the land
32:04that it's time we get to know you.
32:08It's time we come out of our religious
32:10comfort.
32:12It's time we start serving you.
32:15It's time we come to you with a pure
32:17heart.
32:19It's time we stop worshiping man.
32:24It's time we get out of our religious
32:27beliefs
32:30and drop all of our self-interest
32:34and follow you
32:37and worship you.
32:40That in our worship it will birth the
32:44need, the passion to share you with the
32:48world.
32:52cuz so many of us are coming to you with
32:54containers
32:56filled with needs.
32:59And there are many people at our
33:00workplaces,
33:02at our homes, in the marketplace
33:05who don't know you and we have yet to
33:09tell them about you.
33:12So this [music] morning, we surrender to
33:14you. We yield ourselves to you like this
33:18woman at the well.
33:20And we say we give it all to you.
33:24All to you.
33:27All to you we surrender.
33:31All to you we freely give.
33:34I pray for those who don't know you as
33:36Lord and Savior today
33:38that they will surrender.
33:41[music] They will not log off or
33:45leave this building without
33:48saying I need thee. Oh, [music]
33:52I need thee
33:54every hour
33:57when I leave my house to do my job. I
34:00God, I need you. I want to worship you
34:03wherever I go. Not I don't have to wait
34:05till Wednesday. I don't have to wait
34:06till next Sunday. I want to worship you
34:09every single day. Where in my car, I
34:12want to worship you in my bedroom, in my
34:14kitchen, I want to worship you.
34:18I pray that they will say yes to you
34:20this morning.
34:24Now, if you are hearing what I'm saying
34:27today and you don't know Jesus as your
34:30Lord and Savior, it's very simple.
34:32You confess with your mouth. You believe
34:34in your heart.
34:36The Bible says you're saved. Keep going
34:39to church. Read your Bible.
34:41This faith journey is not it's just it's
34:45it's not a sprint. You just got to keep
34:48going man.
34:51Every day you take it one step at a
34:53time. You keep coming to the church.
34:56You'll be fed. You open your Bible
34:58privately.
35:00God will meet you and you'll have a God
35:02encounter like [music] this woman with
35:05him. If you're ready, just say the
35:07sinner's prayer. Say, "Lord Jesus,
35:10>> Lord Jesus,
35:10>> I'm a sinner.
35:11>> I'm a s
35:12>> I repent of my sins.
35:13>> I s
35:14>> I embrace the free gift of salvation.
35:17>> I embrace the free gift of
35:19>> I declare with my mouth.
35:20>> I declare with my
35:21>> I believe in my heart.
35:23>> I believe in my heart
35:23>> that I'm born again.
35:25>> In Jesus name. [music]
35:27>> In Jesus name.
35:28>> Amen.
35:29Come on, let's welcome these people to
35:30the
