0:04God truly we all can say that our God is

0:09good how many you believe
0:14that he is good and he is still

0:21read from First
0:24Corinthians chapter
0:2616 one verse verse 19 as the

0:34today being its mother's day it is
0:38befitting for us to address the issues
0:41of
0:42women not just the issues of mothers
0:47because I'm quite sure people are
0:48streaming and those of you are in the
0:50building not all of you are
0:53mothers but there's a common denominator
0:58among women
1:00I want to share those things with you
1:03this morning out of what Paul wrote In
1:07First Corinthians
1:0916 verse
1:1219 it says the churches in the province
1:16of Asia send you greetings Aquilla and
1:19Priscilla greet you warmly in the Lord
1:23and so does the church that
1:27meets at their house father we thank
1:29thank you that your word is
1:33blessed that you have equipped and
1:35prepared
1:36me to bring forth this message
1:40today to help women to see the gifts
1:44that they
1:47possess I pray that this will be a
1:49wakeup call for
1:51many it will also Inspire others to
1:55believe in
1:57themselves that regardless of what life
2:01has presented them
2:03with they have it within
2:06them to not only take care of the
2:09Affairs of their
2:10lives but to also do Kingdom
2:13work let your word come alive I pray and
2:18we give you praise in Jesus name amen if
2:21you believe that come on with the
2:22Clapping of your hands let's Worship the
2:24Lord and you may be
2:27seated in the presence of the
2:31Lord I'd like to talk to you this
2:33morning about the
2:35multifaceted woman the
2:38multifaceted
2:41woman as we read in scripture I want to
2:45shine a little
2:46light on the life of a woman we seldomly
2:50hear
2:51about this woman named
2:55Priscilla Priscilla a woman whose
2:59contribution tions were instrumental in
3:03the success of the Apostle Paul's
3:07Ministry theologians have said had it
3:11not been for Priscilla and her husband
3:15perhaps Paul would not really have a
3:20Ministry Priscilla emerges as a
3:24multifaceted and remarkable woman
3:27embodying Brilliance and resilience
3:31throughout her faith
3:33Journey as a devoted wife and an astute
3:38businesswoman her unwavering commitment
3:41to both her family and the early church
3:45exemplifies the depth of her character
3:48and her
3:49dedication to God's
3:51work Priscilla was a committed and
3:55dedicated woman to the work of the Lord
3:58Beyond her domestic
4:00and entrepreneurial roles Priscilla
4:03served as a beacon of encouragement and
4:06mentorship particularly to the Apostle
4:09Paul in Acts chap 18 from verse 24-
4:1525 we find and learn of her pivotal role
4:21in guiding Apollos even Paul to
4:25accurately preach the gospel let's go
4:28there for a moment acts 18 to prove the
4:33point the Bible says here beginning at
4:36verse 24 meanwhile a Jew named Apollos a
4:40native of alexandraa came to Ephesus he
4:44was a learned man please don't miss this
4:47now because the point I am making here
4:51is that Priscilla was so used to sound
4:57Doctrine she was used to the authentic
5:01word of God the potent word of God that
5:05the Bible says that uh that this
5:10particular Jew Apollos was a learned Man
5:13by the way he was a teacher in the
5:16synagogue at the time which throughout
5:19knowledge he knew the scripture very
5:22well verse
5:2325 he had been instructed the way of the
5:27Lord and he spoke watch this with great
5:30favor and taught about Jesus how
5:38accurately Apollos taught about Jesus
5:42accurately Priscilla and Aquilla her
5:44husband was under his ministry so well
5:47so they were used to sound Doctrine but
5:50let's continue to read in verse
5:5326 he began to speak boldly in the
5:57synagogue and when Priscilla Aquilla
6:00heard him they're speaking of Paul now
6:03this young preacher who came to town
6:08Priscilla and Aquilla heard him they
6:10invited him to her
6:12home and explained to him the way of God
6:18accurately what scripture is telling us
6:21that here is this preacher Paul who was
6:25sent on a mission to
6:27Corinth and in curen he was passionate
6:31about preaching the gospel and here
6:33comes this woman who heard him preach
6:36the gospel and
6:38recognized that though he had a passion
6:41for God Paul needed to be shaped and
6:45molded and and groomed for Effective
6:50Ministry which reminds me of the power
6:53of a
6:54woman that the intuition of a woman she
6:58sees gifts in people that's why it's so
7:02easy for a mother to look at her
7:04children and even when children don't
7:06see what's inside of them a mother would
7:10look into her child and know that that
7:14child has a gift has a talent has some
7:18skills and that mother will do
7:20everything to birth or to bring forth
7:23that gift and to help sharpen or groom
7:25that gift in her children likewise the
7:29same thing with Priscilla when it comes
7:32to Paul so beyond her domestic
7:35entrepreneurial roles she was an
7:38important encouragement to the Apostle
7:41Paul now I want to explore three
7:44remarkable gifts Priscilla possessed and
7:48hopefully you and I and especially the
7:50women who are listening to me this
7:52morning will see these gifts that you
7:55possess and use them for the honor and
7:59for for the glory of God gift number one
8:03if you're taking notes this is
8:05important the first gift is a strong
8:08spirit of
8:10discernment Priscilla's steadfast
8:13support demonstrates the profound
8:15impact of a woman's influence in
8:18advaning God's kingdom her discernment
8:22and wisdom were instrumental in shaping
8:25the course of Paul's Ministry and
8:27nurturing the early church a strong
8:30spirit of
8:32discernment we don't hear much about
8:34Priscilla however she had the strong
8:37spirit of discernment that if Paul was
8:40going to be effective in
8:43Ministry that his gifts needed to be
8:47groomed and nurtured if you will I want
8:50to say to all of the women who are
8:52listening to me this morning that
8:54there's a spirit of Priscilla in
8:57you you have a
8:59really strong sense of discernment and
9:03sometimes I have to tell you this
9:05sometimes we men would sometimes pretend
9:09and make you feel that you don't possess
9:11it I can't tell you how many times women
9:15will say to men watch that be careful of
9:19that don't do that and as a man
9:23sometimes we kind of like oh you a crazy
9:25man uh you you how many brothers can
9:28attest to that
9:30we don't see
9:31it but one of the things that I love
9:34about scripture you'll hear about
9:36Aquilla which was pilla's uh husband
9:39this man never stopped his wife from
9:42fulfilling her role in the word of
9:46God he stood with her
9:49every way along the process he was there
9:53he never said to her well wait a minute
9:55now just leave Paul alone he's the man
9:58of God you can't tell him that he's not
10:01teaching the word of God kind of
10:02accurately he need to be groomed you see
10:05that's the spirit of a woman a woman has
10:08a good aggressive Spirit notice what I
10:10said

10:14aggressive Spirit not just an aggressive
10:18Spirit you see a woman understand that
10:21you have a spirit of discernment that
10:23you can go in an environment you can go
10:26somewhere and you can say wait a minute
10:28I see the gift in you son for example
10:31your husband I see the gift in you baby
10:34or the man that you're dating I see the
10:36gift in you come on let's sit down let
10:39me let me help you to become a better
10:41man because a woman knows the better the
10:44man becomes is the greater he can serve
10:50her you see every woman needs to take
10:53note of
10:54Priscilla you never belittle your
10:57man you never never make him feel as if
11:01he's not in charge or if he is not
11:05important she had a spirit of
11:08discernment that she knew that her
11:10husband was there and she somehow
11:14gracefully minister to Paul without
11:18allowing her husband to feel intimidated
11:21or
11:22insecure the power of a woman to be able
11:26to Mentor people and at the same time
11:30managing your man making him feel
11:34important you're not second I'm not
11:37ignoring you but I have an assignment
11:41I'm going to keep you involved in it I'm
11:43a woman on assignment I'm doing the work
11:46of God and I'm going to do it decently
11:49and in order is anybody getting anything
11:52so
11:54far gift number two not only did
11:57Priscilla possess as a strong spirit of
12:01discernment but she had the ability to
12:04serve watch this God family and Business
12:09Without
12:10compromise Priscilla alongside her
12:12husband
12:13Aquilla exemplified a harmonious balance
12:18between the spiritual devotion and
12:21Earthly
12:24responsibility the thing I Love About
12:26Women is your incredible
12:30ability to
12:34multitask don't know how you do it maybe
12:37that's why scripture has recorded it see
12:40so many times we we make Paul in the
12:43book of Corinth uh Corinthians we make
12:47Paul the main character which he should
12:50but sometimes we ignore the supporting
12:53roles we ignore the the importance of
12:57Priscilla that this woman was so gifted
13:00she had the ability to serve God she she
13:04was fully devoted to God but she was
13:08also fully devoted to her family she was
13:11fully devoted to her husband nowhere in
13:14Scripture it says that she was attending
13:17to Paul in such a great way that she
13:20ignored the responsibilities at
13:23home that's why as a woman you've got to
13:26be careful that you're are so committed
13:28to church and so crazy about Ministry
13:32that you forget your family
13:38responsibilities you never want a man
13:41especially an
13:43unbeliever you never want him to ever
13:46believe that the preacher is your second
13:50husband you never want your husband to
13:53ever believe that you will do more for
13:56the preacher or the church
14:00then you will do for
14:02him oh don't shout me down
14:04now I mean all the men should be
14:07clapping real loud and I mean you should
14:09be celebrating
14:11that it's a perfect
14:14example Priscilla was so
14:18gifted she was able to handle God and
14:24I'm going to show it to you she was
14:26committed to the ministry she used her
14:29her talents her business she did
14:33everything to serve the Lord in fact she
14:37provided a place for Paul to dwell and
14:41she provided a place where people would
14:43gather to worship yet she took care of
14:47her
14:50man and I just want to encourage women
14:52here
14:54today that you have this incredible
14:56ability to multitask
14:59you're full of
15:00gifts but do not compromise any area of
15:04your
15:05life God has wired you with the
15:09ability that you can honor him put him
15:13first be about his business serve him
15:17with all of your heart whether your man
15:19wants to follow you or not you put God
15:23first you honor
15:26God hope it not that he will never walk
15:30out on you but a man has the ability and
15:33the potential of walking out on you but
15:36God will never leave you nor forsake you
15:40so you always put him
15:42first but at the same time like
15:45Priscilla need to make
15:48sure that you put great emphasis on
15:52being there for that man in your life
15:55that you love him that you know don't
15:59neglect the
16:00responsibilities at
16:03home make him feel like he's a king
16:07notice the word feel he's really not the
16:09king you are the king and queen but make
16:12him
16:14feel like he's the king just just make
16:17him feel just make him and you you do a
16:20good job we know who's the
16:23boss but just make him feel like it cuz
16:27there's something about us men there
16:28there's an ego in US Ju Just play on
16:33it play on
16:35it cuz that's what this woman did and I
16:38know some of you may be thinking this is
16:39just crazy you have no idea if you read
16:43the
16:44Bible and fall in love with the word of
16:47God there's so much in
16:49it to teach us how to do
16:53life you don't have to follow the
16:55principles of the world when you're
16:58talking about how to manage your life
17:01Priscilla is the perfect example to show
17:04you that you must
17:07manage honor God what about your family
17:12take care of your children take care
17:15your home take care of your
17:17responsibilities but also by the way
17:20Priscilla was a
17:22businesswoman according to the Bible
17:24this
17:25woman ran the most successful and
17:30popular tent making
17:33business they built tent now wait a
17:36minute now you have to understand the
17:38whole backdrop story of this woman
17:41Priscilla they were exiled they were
17:44refugees they were running from the
17:49emperor Claudius who decreed that he
17:53wanted all the Jews out they were
17:56refugees and they ended up in GRE re and
17:59watch this you've got to see how God
18:02will use a tragic situation no matter
18:05what it is to birth blessings out of it
18:09they became
18:11refugees and when they got to Greece the
18:15Brilliance of Priscilla she said to her
18:18husband maybe we need to start a tent
18:21business here's the reason why there's
18:23so many refugees here let's solve a
18:26problem and make money from it at the
18:29same
18:30time read your Bible the woman started a
18:34tent business that provided housing for
18:37the refugees and it was also her
18:40business that provided a place tense for
18:43them to have house of worship worship
18:46God and so forth listen to me I don't
18:49care what situations you find yourself
18:51in listen to me ladies sometimes you
18:54become a refugee from from the attacks
18:57of the enemy you you've been running
19:00maybe you had a bad
19:03beginning perhaps your life started
19:06where I don't know you came out of a
19:08broken home maybe you don't know your
19:11father he abandoned your mother perhaps
19:15you were
19:16molested perhaps you came from a
19:18dysfunctional home a dysfunctional
19:21family perhaps you've been through a
19:24whole lot of stuff that you're
19:26embarrassed to talk about but but like
19:29Priscilla I wonder what God is
19:31challenging you to birth what is he
19:34telling you to do in all of what you
19:37have gone through is he prompting you to
19:39do something so that it can be a
19:42blessing to you like
19:43Priscilla Priscilla started this tent
19:46business made a lot of money from it
19:49that according to scripture it was her
19:52business that help supported the work of
19:56Paul do you not know that God will
20:00sometimes put you in an uncomfortable
20:03situation and he placed you there
20:05because he knows that within you you
20:08have the ability to master it and be
20:14great you have the ability to be great I
20:17can't tell you how many women in this
20:19room and those of you are streaming if
20:22the truth be told if you tell your story
20:25if you tell your story of how you
20:27started and where you are today we ought
20:31to celebrate you many of you you own
20:33your own business many of you you own
20:36your own car your homes you you you are
20:38doing wonderfully great and if the truth
20:42be told where you are today you're not
20:44supposed to be there because you've been
20:47coming from a mighty long way but look
20:49at What the Lord Has Done in your
20:53life he's done a marvelous work in your
20:57life and so Priscilla was able to
21:01balance without compromising these
21:04things she didn't serve God serve her
21:08family and let her business go
21:10down she was able to manage all of her
21:16responsibilities Sometimes women you're
21:17left with the responsibility of doing
21:20the man's
21:22job I hate to say
21:25it I hate to say it
21:29you're left do you think that the God
21:32who created
21:34you who in the garden when he saw the
21:39man that he
21:40created he looked at Adam and he saw
21:43that wait a minute I created Adam and I
21:46knew the work I was going to give him
21:48but I recognized that in my plan that
21:51this man needed a helper this man it is
21:54impossible Adam was incapable of
21:57fulfilling what God wanted him to do so
22:01God created somebody watch this I'm
22:03going somewhere with this God created a
22:06woman to help him finish his assignment
22:10isn't it
22:12embarrassing and
22:15hurtful that the woman that God has
22:18created to help the man
22:22eventually the man turned his back
22:28on the woman yes
22:30sir on the woman we saw that displayed
22:34from in the garden because when they
22:36sinned and God said to them Adam where
22:40are you instead of the man standing up
22:43and taking responsibility hey God you
22:46know what I just got greedy the woman
22:49just seduced me and she made me eat of
22:53it God he quickly said the woman
22:59you gave
23:04me that even with all of
23:08that even with men who are not willing
23:12to stand up to their
23:15responsibilities that women still have
23:18the ability to bounce back oh you ought
23:23to give yourself a hand man it's in you
23:27all the L just need to shout it out it's
23:30in
23:31me you have this incredible
23:36ability to
23:39multitask the multifaceted woman having
23:42the ability to handle multiple things at
23:45the same
23:46time in all situations yes sir yes sir
23:50this woman she had to serve God she was
23:53helping Paul preached the gospel making
23:56sure he was okay making sure she she
23:58groomed him and Mentor him she was
24:00taking care of her family there's
24:02there's nowhere in the Bible I've been
24:03searching where she had children perhaps
24:06she did I don't
24:08know but she took care of her family and
24:11but she and also she was running a
24:14business the business was
24:17successful women listen do not let the
24:21pressure of
24:22Life make you think you're not able to
24:25handle what life throws at you you are
24:28built that
24:30way God has given you an incredible
24:33amount of strength to finish the
24:36assignment so you ought to hold your
24:38head up and understand if God be for you
24:41who can come against you come on you
24:43ought to give God a praise for
24:48that and finally number three gift
24:51number three like Priscilla she had a
24:55strong entrepreneurial skills are
24:59skilled Priscilla uh Priscilla's
25:02entrepreneurial uh
25:04skills they were evident in the
25:07establishment of her tent making
25:10Enterprise not only did she make tents
25:13but they got into the business of of
25:17Designing and making sure that the
25:21leather that people use in those days
25:24those expensive leather that they uh
25:28W would would would have it you know in
25:31the king's Palace and and various places
25:34she recognized and appreciate the
25:37valuable
25:39contribution she was making to the
25:42ministry of
25:44Paul I want to say to all of you
25:47today your name as a woman may not be
25:52Priscilla your name
25:55perhaps was never mentioned in
25:59scripture but you have to
26:02remember the word of God was written for
26:05our edification
26:07today and I want you to take your the
26:10name Priscilla out of the scripture out
26:13of First Corinthians
26:1616:19 and the Bible says the churches in
26:20the province of Asia send you
26:23greetings Aquilla and Priscilla greet
26:27you warmly in the Lord
26:29can we take out aquill and Priscilla's
26:32name and put your name in
26:35there whatever your name
26:37is greet you warmly in the
26:41Lord and so does the church that
26:46meets at their H at their
26:50house the Bible was talking about a
26:53physical house but can I for a moment
26:55talk about this house
26:59watch me carefully I'm
27:02closing
27:04Priscilla are you what is your
27:09name what's happening with your
27:15house Hey listen to
27:17me you know your name what's happening
27:20to this
27:23house who's been meeting there
27:29Paul would run his
27:32ministry in the places that Priscilla
27:35and her husband would
27:37build in
27:39fact he would stay at their
27:43house who are you allowing to stay at
27:46your
27:48house this
27:51house I'm talking about this
27:55house who did you allow to give in this
27:58house that their intention is not to
28:00advance God's kingdom but to promote
28:05toxicity
28:07dysfunction who did you allow to go in
28:10your
28:12house that the enemy is using to pull
28:15you away from
28:19God are you grooming your
28:22children to honor
28:25God are you grooming them to enjoy the
28:29pleasures of the world only to find out
28:31when they become 18 and 20 and 25 now
28:34you're calling a preacher to pray for
28:35your kids because they have gone
28:38astray when the Bible says train up a
28:40child the way they should go so when
28:43they're old they will never depart from
28:46it again I ask you
28:50ladies who's in the
28:53house cuz you see the multifaceted woman
28:57who got our eyes fix on
29:01Jesus will know that for God I live for
29:04God I die I have to serve
29:07him and then God if I have my children
29:11and their father is not in their
29:13lives God I have the power to still
29:17serve you and take care of my
29:23children God I have the power to serve
29:27you
29:28honor
29:30you take care of that guy that I'm
29:36dating knowing that one day it's going
29:38to lead to
29:39marriage or that man that I'm married to
29:43I'm going to make him feel important
29:45we're in this thing
29:48together there's several relationships
29:50in the Bible where the Bible has taught
29:54us how couples can come together and do
29:58great things for God Abraham and
30:02Sarah Ruth and
30:07Boaz and so Priscilla and
30:11Aquilla that you can still serve God you
30:16can still take care of your family and
30:18you can still go to that
30:20job and be the best employee you can be
30:24you can still run that business and run
30:28it with integrity and it still can
30:30become a business in society that will
30:33make money and you will still honor God
30:36you won't get ahead of God and you won't
30:38let that business watch this take you
30:40away from God where you can't read the
30:42Bible anymore and you're not studying
30:44his word and you're not going to church
30:46and you're not putting God first and
30:48you're forgetting your children be
30:49careful listen to me the problem with
30:52this country today is that we are
30:55killing ourselves to make it in life at
30:58the sacrifice of our
31:02family
31:05listen you have it within you woman of
31:10God to do everything that God has
31:13assigned you to
31:14do and all I want to know
31:17today is will you
31:19embrace all the gifts that God placed in
31:23you and make
31:25sure if God wants to show up any anytime
31:28in your
31:29house like when his presence would enter
31:34Priscilla's house and Paul would show up
31:38that if God was to show up in your house
31:41that you're ready for
31:43him that this house is ready goes from
31:46men too what about this I'm I'm telling
31:49you what about this house is it
31:52ready to
31:55embrace where God is taking you in the
31:58next season of your life would you bow
31:59your heads and let's pray
32:02father I believe
32:04today there many
32:06priscillas in this
32:09building many
32:14women who
32:16felt they weren't
32:18able to do it
32:21all some were
32:24complaining some were even questioning
32:26why God would you allow so much to be
32:29placed on them
32:34why but today's sermon was designed to
32:38help them to understand they can handle
32:41it they're equipped to do
32:44it you have anointed them for such a
32:48time as
32:50this to serve you their family and to
32:55still function in life whether it's on a
32:58job or their place of
33:01business I believe you spoke to women
33:05today may you touch
33:08them may they see how important they are
33:12to the development of society and the
33:15building of the kingdom of God all
33:17through
33:18scripture it shows women played a vital
33:23role in the spreading of the Gospel it
33:26was women who went to to the cross and
33:29wept it was women who
33:32entered the
33:33graveyard on Resurrection
33:37Day it was women who trusted
33:41you and shared the gospel it was women
33:44like
33:45Priscilla who stood up and made sure
33:49Paul had everything he needed to preach
33:52the gospel I pray for those women who
33:57feel
33:59overwhelmed may you touch them today
34:02with every head bowed eyes still
34:05closed I fail in my spirit seriously
34:09today it's not for
34:12everybody there are a few women here
34:14today it's Mother's Day but your heart
34:17is
34:19bleeding it's
34:21bleeding you know God is real why
34:25everything Henry preached about this
34:27morning is
34:29exactly what you were going
34:31through you question
34:35God can I do this all and here comes God
34:39giv a word
34:41today the multifaceted woman the woman
34:44who's who has the
34:47ability to do it
34:50all you know you had to be in church
34:53today you know you had to stream today
34:55if you're in this building
34:58and this message somehow touched you to
35:02the very
35:04core that you needed to this assurance
35:07you needed this assurance this
35:09morning you know that God spoke to you
35:12directly without anybody looking around
35:15if that's you I want you to quickly move
35:17from your
35:18seat I want to pray a very special
35:21prayer over
35:23you because you are the multifaceted
35:26woman
35:28I believe that God sent me here today to
35:31encourage you and to let you know never
35:33give up never doubt yourself never never
35:39ever doubt yourself
35:44never God will never put on you more
35:46than what you can bear never he will
35:50never do that he knows what he's
35:52doing and on your special day Mother's
35:56Day I want to encourage encourage you I
35:59want to encourage you that you're going
36:00to finish the course you're going to
36:03finish your
36:04assignment you're going to do it well
36:07I'm telling you you are going to do it
36:09well whether you have an Aquilla in your
36:13life a man in your life or not God bless
36:17if you have a man praise God but if you
36:20don't have one whatever God put in you
36:23you're going to finish
36:25it because that's how your wired
36:28you have the ability to do it God bless
36:31you they're still coming God bless you
36:33God bless you God bless you God bless
36:36you I want the female ministers to come
36:38behind them quickly all the f female
36:41ministers if you're in training or your
36:43current Minister come on quickly we're
36:45getting ready to close but I got to pray
