0:41time I get the opportunity to sit in my
0:45chair with Pastor
0:48Carol I can't help but to think how
0:51blessed I

0:56blessed blessed in the sense that 30
1:00three years ago when God told me to
1:02start this
1:04church I knew he didn't tell me to start
1:08the
1:09church so that the church will die with
1:13me let me say that again 33 years ago I
1:17know when God told me to start the
1:18church he didn't tell me to start it so
1:21it can die with me in other words I will
1:25be an old man still holding on to the
1:28podium
1:32trying to keep the gospel
1:36alive so because I knew that I had a
1:39window of time and I need you to listen
1:42to
1:44me every day you're getting
1:47older every one of you celebrated a
1:50birthday this year or
1:52will for the rest of October November
1:56and December we're all getting older
2:00and you better make sure that you're
2:03maximizing every moment that God has
2:06given to you because there will be a
2:10time where you won't be able to do the
2:12stuff you're able to do
2:16now so I
2:18know at the age of 60 one day I will be
2:2270 and 80 and 90 and I pray to God I
2:25live to 100 that's my
2:27goal that God will keep me alive
2:31for another 40
2:32years so here's my point I knew that God
2:38had another
2:41person
2:43that he would place in this Pulpit to
2:48carry on the
2:50gospel and I'm a blessed man to sit over
2:54in my seat every week and to watch
2:57Pastor Joel tudman and L RHA
3:01tman just come to South
3:04Florida and have done an amazing job so
3:07far can we honor both of
3:09them thank you so much
3:13Pastor thank you for the great work that
3:16you're doing he's an incredible guy
3:20there's no jealousy between
3:22us he knows his age I know my
3:26age I would love to give him my age and
3:30take his but he says absolutely
3:34not but he's a great guy
3:36sincere uh person and I'm so honored I I
3:41can't tell you how much I feel blessed
3:44because this is not
3:48normal what's taking place at the Faith
3:51Center is not
3:55[Applause]
3:57normal I I don't think you guys really
4:00understand what's happening here would
4:02you look at your neighbor and say this
4:03is not
4:06normal so God is up to
4:09something John chapter
4:135 hope I won't bore you reading 15
4:17verses but I need to read it so you
4:20understand it it says after this there
4:22was a feast of the
4:23Jews and Jesus went up to Jerusalem now
4:27there is in Jerusalem by the Sheep gate
4:31a pool which is called in Hebrew
4:35Bethesda having five
4:37porches in these laid a great multitude
4:40of sick people blind lame paralyzed
4:44waiting for the move in of the
4:48water for an angel went down at a
4:51certain time into the pool and stirred
4:53up the water then whoever stepped in
4:56first after the stern of the water was
5:00made well of whatever disease he
5:04had now a certain man was there who had
5:08an infirmity 38 years and when Jesus saw
5:12him laying there and knew that he had
5:15ready had been in that condition a long
5:18time he said to him do you want to be
5:24made
5:25well the sick man answered him sir I
5:29have no no man to put me into the pool
5:31when the water is stirred up but while I
5:35am coming another step down before me
5:38and Jesus said to him
5:42rise take up your bed and walk and
5:47immediately the man was made whole took
5:49up his bed and walked and that day was
5:53the
5:55Sabbath then the Jews before excuse me
6:00then Jews or the Jews therefore said I
6:04should say to him who was
6:08cured is it the
6:11Sabbath it is not lawful for you to
6:15carry your
6:17bed he answered them he who made me well
6:21said to me take up your bed and walk
6:25then they asked him who is the man who
6:29said to you take up your bed and
6:31walk but the
6:33one who was healed did not know who it
6:37was for Jesus had withdrawn a multitude
6:42being in that place or Jesus had
6:44withdrawn a multitude being in that
6:47place in verse 14 says afterward Jesus
6:51found him in the temple and said to him
6:54see you have been made well sin no more
6:58l a worse thing come upon
7:01you the man
7:04departed and told the Jews that it was
7:09Jesus who made him well
7:11father I come to you
7:14today asking
7:17you to anoint the
7:20vessel that you have
7:24appointed to speak directly to your
7:26people and to give them hope
7:28today so that those who are in the
7:31building those who are
7:33streaming would get some clear
7:36instructions and what their next move
7:39should
7:40be Open the Eyes of our heart Open the
7:44Eyes of our understanding and let us
7:48hear you clearly today and for that we
7:51give you all the praise the honor and
7:53the glory and somebody shout amen amen
7:57before you're seated look at your
7:58neighbor and tell them don't be left
8:01behind would you do that don't be left
8:04behind please be seated in the presence
8:08of the Lord don't be left
8:13behind the world is changing
8:19rapidly how many you believe
8:22that what was once
8:25considered normal is now being
8:28challenged
8:30by innovative ideas and the desires to
8:34explore unchartered
8:39territories this
8:42transformation affects every aspect of
8:47life make no mistake about it the
8:49covid-19
8:51pandemic tested the educational system
8:55prompt in many
8:57institutions to re re assessed their
9:00teaching
9:01methods cuz
9:03everything has changed as a result
9:08administrators professors and students
9:11struggle to keep up with the
9:14pace concerning the changes and in some
9:18cases people are
9:21resisting the
9:23change even traditional Family
9:27Values are also being
9:30redefined by a new generation seeking to
9:34establish their own
9:36model of what a family should look
9:40like because of that over the past two
9:44decades we see so many changes such as
9:48the healthc care
9:50industry has evolved
9:53significantly pushing us to educate
9:57ourselves about various options
10:00available to us to address our health
10:04needs things are
10:06evolving
10:08rapidly the way you used to treat an
10:12illness 10 years ago is completely
10:15different the way we treat it today
10:18meanwhile Building Wealth has become
10:21more challenging for
10:23many as traditional methods are being
10:27overshadowed by young Wall Street
10:31figures and billionair and these
10:36influencers it is
10:38true that not all of these changes are
10:42beneficial to our
10:44society however many have made uh many
10:48of the changes I should say have made us
10:51more efficient
10:52proficient and productive in less
10:56time I think it was Pastor tman last
10:58week who talked about the changes that
11:01are coming and whether we embrace them
11:04or not they're going to happen and some
11:08of the changes we need to learn to
11:11embrace them because they make us more
11:14proficient more efficient and more
11:18productive but unfortunately this rapid
11:23pace of change leaves so many people
11:27behind
11:29unable to take advantage of the
11:31opportunities to become the best version
11:36of themselves they're people in this
11:38room today people are
11:39streaming you have yet to tap into the
11:43best version of
11:44yourself because you've been left
11:47behind you're stuck in the
11:51old you've been messed up with old
11:56Theology and ideas of the the past that
12:01are no longer
12:03working and uh you're failing to
12:06understand that
12:08seasons have
12:10changed so therefore it is important to
12:13recognize that these changes didn't
12:17happen all at
12:19once they have unfolded over the past 30
12:23years watch this in
12:26stages if you go back in the last 30
12:30years our world has changed
12:35drastically in
12:37stages and what I want to know today is
12:40simply this have you
12:44evolved with the
12:47changes things are changing whether you
12:49embrace them or not they're changing are
12:53you the same person today that you were
12:5730 years ago 20 years ago 10 years ago
13:0115 years ago so as we navigate these
13:07ships we must remember that God provides
13:12new
13:13mercies which are new opportunities each
13:19day when you woke up this
13:22morning God says I'm going to afford you
13:2624 more hours
13:29of new
13:31mercies
13:33hope new
13:34opportunities for you to forget the past
13:38forget those things which are behind you
13:41I understand yesterday was tough I
13:44understand last week was difficult I
13:46understand last year you had a bad year
13:48I understand that five years ago you
13:51lost everything and maybe and maybe you
13:53were damaged and maybe you were you were
13:55left half dead I understand that but
13:59when you woke up this morning God gave
14:02you new
14:07opportunities When you entered January 1
14:10of
14:122024 it was an
14:14opportunity to
14:16maximize the
14:18year to make something different of your
14:22life and so as we
14:25navigate this new season this this new
14:30shift that God is
14:33performing what I really want to know is
14:37will you tap into it you see it's our
14:42responsibility to seize these
14:45opportunities and align ourselves with
14:48what God has ordained for
14:53us even now the world
14:56continues to introduce new ideas
14:59and I've got to be honest with you some
15:01of them are scaring the heck out of
15:04me new
15:07ideas the things that I see them
15:10doing scaring me kind of reminds me of
15:15when I was a kid and I used to see the
15:18Jetson the cartoon and I thought those
15:21things are impossible before you know it
15:24we're going to have flying
15:26cars scaring the heck out of
15:29me I see some ugly cars on the streets I
15:32don't even know what you call them now I
15:34don't know why people would spend all
15:37that money for that ugly
15:42looking
15:45car I hope I'm not the only
15:49one but to each his
15:52own you got the money go buy your ugly
15:55looking car
15:59but you see how we
16:02respond depends on our mindset and our
16:07emotions which will determine whether or
16:09not we tap into what God is
16:13doing in
16:17this it
16:20determines whether or not based on our
16:23emotions based on what we
16:27think determines what whether or not
16:29we're going to tap
16:31into what God is doing in this season
16:34cuz every one of you in this room every
16:36one of you streaming I promise you we
16:41all woke up this
16:44morning in
16:46need of
16:49something and if you said well Pastor I
16:51don't need anything today my whole life
16:53is
16:54okay keep on living
16:59you may be happy today but I promise you
17:03something in the future is going to hit
17:07your life and you're going to have to
17:10run to God come on
17:14now every one of
17:16us are looking for God to do something
17:21for us picture this in John chapter 5
17:28the Bible troduces
17:30us to a place called
17:34Bethesda now there are several key
17:36points about
17:39bethesa that I'd like to highlight
17:42number one
17:45bethesa
17:46Bethesda means a place of
17:50Mercy or a
17:52place of Grace a place of Mercy a place
17:58of Grace a place of Mercy a place of
18:01Grace and I don't know who God sent me
18:03here to talk to this
18:06morning but life has crippled
18:09you I don't know what has hit your life
18:13over the last year or two years or 3
18:18years or 5
18:20years I don't know what has carried you
18:23into this
18:25Moment Like This Man at Bethesda the
18:28Bible says
18:30he got to the house of
18:34mercy and the House of
18:37Grace perhaps he had some friends who
18:40took him every day for 38 years and
18:45dropped him at the place of
18:51Mercy the place of
18:53Grace see those are the kinds of friends
18:57I want in my life life you may not be
19:00able to fix my problem but just drop me
19:05off at the place of
19:08mercy and the place of
19:11Grace sometimes we're looking for people
19:13in our lives whether it is the person
19:15we're dating or maybe our spouse our
19:19children or relatives or friends to do
19:22it for us but sometimes you must
19:25understand that God will put people in
19:27your life just to to carry you to a
19:30certain
19:32point and when they carry you to that
19:35point it is then your
19:38responsibility to say God it's between
19:42you and me now my mother can't help me
19:45my father can't help me my friends can't
19:48help me I got to trust you for
19:52myself I got to trust you for
19:55myself and so we find
19:59that at Bethesda this was a place of
20:01Mercy a place of
20:02Grace but Bethesda was also a place of
20:08healing the Bible also says at Bethesda
20:11there were five porches or entrances
20:15very
20:17interesting there were five ways to get
20:21into
20:22bethesa years ago I was privileged to go
20:25to the Middle East and I literally
20:28stood at the place of
20:31bethesa it totally readjusted my
20:35thinking and what I've been reading for
20:39years five
20:42entrances to a place to get to a water a
20:47pool
20:50wowowow so that lets me
20:53know that this
20:57man came to to Bethesda for 38
21:01years day after day week after week
21:06month after
21:08month and there were five opportunities
21:11for
21:14him sir not
21:17one
21:20five
21:23five would you tap your neighbor and say
21:25you're running out of time
21:28some of you have maxed out four of your
21:31opportunities
21:33already some of you are at your last
21:36moment your last season if you don't get
21:39it right now you going to miss the
21:42moment come on work with me here you
21:44going to miss the moment there were five
21:48porches or opportunities or entrance to
21:50Bethesda not only that at Bethesda it
21:54was a gathering
21:56place for people with very ious
22:01infirmities all seeking to be touched by
22:04God and made
22:07whole everybody who gathered at
22:11Bethesda had an issue that's why you
22:14should never allow
22:16people especially church
22:20folks who at the same place you are
22:24at make you
22:27think that they're better than
22:30[Applause]
22:33you would you touch your neighbor and
22:35say we all at the same
22:37place our issues may be different but
22:41we're all at the same place of mercy and
22:45Grace don't you ever look your nose and
22:48and skin yourself or are act in a funny
22:51way towards me I know who I
22:54am I know who I am look at your neighbor
22:57and say I know who I I am I know who I
23:00am you're not better off than me I I
23:04understand you may look at my sins
23:06because you've been up in my business
23:08all these years but all of us are at the
23:13place of
23:17grace and
23:18[Applause]
23:21mercy the final thing I want you to
23:23understand about Bethesda is it is at a
23:27certain time the Bible says an angel
23:31would descend and stir the
23:34water and anyone who stepped in the into
23:38the pool the Bible says during that
23:39moment would be e healed but the text
23:43focuses on two main characters here two
23:46main characters
23:49Jesus and watch this this
23:53unnamed
23:56man very interesting in
23:59here one character we know his name is
24:03Jesus but then the Bible introduces us
24:06to this
24:09unnamed
24:11man unnamed man so what this tells us
24:15this unnamed man is significant because
24:18the text now
24:20allows this unnamed man to represent any
24:24one of
24:25us in the 21st century
24:31this unnamed man go you know the Bible
24:34could have given him a
24:35name but but you see I believe that it
24:39was written in such a way that every one
24:42of us could put ourselves in the shoes
24:46of this
24:47unnamed
24:49man the Bible doesn't specify what his
24:54ailment was only that he had been sick
24:59for a long time the Bible never
25:02emphasized what his sickness was we are
25:05only
25:07assuming that he was
25:11crippled we're only assuming cuz the
25:15Bible says we don't know what his
25:16infirmity
25:20was isn't it funny how when you're going
25:23through something folks are are just
25:26living their life trying to figure out
25:29what's wrong with
25:31her what's wrong with him and then come
25:34up with their own assumption just
25:37because they don't see you
25:40moving all y'all not ready for this
25:44yet the
25:46man came to
25:48bethesa and the Bible says we don't know
25:52his name not only do we not know his
25:55name but we don't even know what kind of
25:58a sickness this man had because that was
26:03irrelevant when you're dealing with
26:06[Applause]
26:08Jesus he's not concerned about what your
26:11problem is what he's concerned is how
26:15strong your faith
26:18is see we are the ones who are caught
26:22up with what's wrong with us we're the
26:26ones who are caught up in trying to
26:28figure out what's wrong with people when
26:31they enter these doors why you go to
26:33church why you reading your Bible why
26:36you're praying we're trying to figure
26:38out what's wrong with people but the
26:41text clearly says we don't know what's
26:43wrong with him all we know he shows up
26:46at the place of grace and mercy to get
26:49something from
26:53God so what's interesting is that a
26:56great multitude of sick people the Bible
26:58said gathered at Bethesda waiting for
27:00the water to be stirred by an Angel it's
27:05getting better here now this indicates
27:07that the people knew knew knew the
27:13supernatural didn't
27:15occur all the
27:22time so let me help those of
27:25you who may go to church or you pray to
27:29God and nothing
27:33happens and then you start get an angry
27:36at
27:37God you get discouraged because God
27:40didn't fix it when you wanted him to fix
27:43it you know I I God you know God I don't
27:47know what what's wrong with this fith
27:49stuff don't work listen God doesn't have
27:53to move based on your schedule
28:00the Bible says it was a certain
28:03time that God would do what it's not
28:05that God wasn't moving 24/7 it's just
28:09that every now and then God just decides
28:13to stand up from his throne in heaven
28:16and say I'm just going to do something
28:18special for you
28:22today I believe you're living in a
28:25season right now where God is saying I'm
28:27a about to do
28:30something special in your life who am I
28:33talking to this morning if you're ready
28:36for God to do something Supernatural and
28:40special in your life come on give him a
28:42praise in this house this
28:49morning the Bible
28:51says that it was at a certain
28:55time there would be a stir of the water
28:59no one knew the exact time but they
29:03understood that God would move in a
29:06moment no one understood the exact time
29:10but they knew something was about to
29:12happen I don't know what time God's
29:16going to do his next big move I just
29:20want to be at the right
29:23place at the right
29:25time I I just want to be at the right
29:28place I want to be in the right
29:30environment I want my own Bethesda I
29:33want to be at Bethesda listen you you
29:36make him go to the club go ahead honey
29:39go do your clubbing and dance and have
29:41fun I want to be at the place of grace
29:44and mercy because when God is passing by
29:49I don't want him to miss me somebody
29:52give him praise in the house
29:59this is why it is
30:01crucial to be in the house of God
30:04whenever
30:05possible this is why it's
30:07crucial that you stream whenever
30:11possible cuz you never
30:13know for those of you who pick your
30:16favorite
30:20Sundays pick your favorite
30:23Wednesdays for those of you who pick
30:25your favorite
30:26artist your favorite
30:30preacher you never
30:33know tap your neighbor and say you never
30:36know when God's going to show
30:39up and guess what it may not be in this
30:43building he may show up in the parking
30:46lot he may show up in the mall he may
30:50show up at your
30:52house but I believe that God's about to
30:55show up and show out in your life if
30:58you're ready to receive it come on give
31:00them a praise in the
31:02house
31:03[Music]
31:05Hallelujah so I've stopped by this
31:08morning to encourage you and to prompt
31:11you don't miss your
31:15moment don't miss your moment don't miss
31:18your god-given
31:20opportunities don't miss what God is
31:23doing because of a lack of discernment
31:26or having unrealist istic
31:30expectations I want to encourage those
31:32of you who may feel discouraged when
31:35when you
31:36pray or obey
31:39God but don't immediately see
31:44results God has his own
31:48timing listen to me God has his own
31:53timing and you must be at the right
31:56place
31:58at the right time to receive what he has
32:02for
32:03you Bethesda was a place where God's
32:06power
32:07moved and healing took place but it was
32:11also a place filled with people
32:15suffering from
32:17various
32:19ailments yet all who showed
32:23up at the appointed time would
32:26experience the miracle of
32:30God he's been there a long
32:38time he's been there a long
32:43time there's nothing wrong with the
32:49place there's nothing wrong with
32:52Bethesda place of
32:55Grace Place of Hope place of
32:58Mercy there's nothing wrong with the
33:02place but he's been there a long time
33:05listen to me nothing wrong with the
33:08place there's some of you are blaming
33:11your
33:13environments for your inability to tap
33:16into what God has for you there's
33:18nothing wrong with your place there's
33:20nothing wrong with your home there's
33:22nothing wrong with your job there's
33:24nothing wrong with your church
33:29nothing wrong with
33:32bethesa all of us are seeking a fresh
33:36touch from
33:38God the problem with this
33:41guy was that he
33:45stayed at the
33:49outside of the outpouring of God for 38
33:56years put in his hopes of being healed
34:03on the
34:04responsibilities of other
34:16people well if my parents had treated me
34:20better I wouldn't be where I am today
34:26amen if they didn't break me when I was
34:28a
34:31teenager I wouldn't be where I am
34:35today if that person that I dated did
34:39not do me so
34:40wrong I wouldn't be where I am
34:45today well I got married to the cousin
34:49to
34:56Satan because I married Satan's
35:00cousin I am where I am
35:03today well they talked about me they
35:06hated me that boss didn't like
35:09me when Jesus showed
35:12up notice this Jesus ask the man a
35:18strange question Jesus who knows the
35:22beginning from the
35:24end ask the man a question
35:28why aren't you
35:30healed that is suggesting that this man
35:34should have been
35:38healed his sickness was not the problem
35:41the place was not the problem it's his
35:46[Applause]
35:51mindset because his response to Jesus
35:56was well
35:59every time the angel would touch the
36:01water which suggests he knew when it was
36:06time he had the ability to discern that
36:10the angel had touched the water but here
36:13comes a problem that most of us are
36:16guilty
36:17of the
36:22[Applause]
36:25excuses listen to me the
36:29excuses all the excuses do you know how
36:32much this place is filled with excuses
36:35that internet is filled with
36:41excuses why are you still where you are
36:46where you're at in
36:492024 when you should have been
36:54further why
36:57why are you still where you were five
37:01years ago 10 years ago 20 years ago
37:05why
37:07why well I guess like this guy well you
37:11just don't
37:12know what I had to go
37:15through I saw the
37:17move I saw the angel touching the water
37:21I experienced the moment I saw that
37:24something was happening but every time
37:27watch this every time I attempt so that
37:30lets me know that there was a little bit
37:33of
37:34effort in the
37:37guy every time I
37:40tried to make an attempt to get in the
37:45water look how dumb this excuse
37:49is somebody
37:51else would get in there before me well
37:55DH
37:57everybody's trying to get in the
37:59water why are you going to argue about
38:02people who have made efforts to pass you
38:05by get the job get the degree get
38:08everything that they're looking for in
38:10life why are you going to have an issue
38:12with that if they pass you by and have
38:15advanced in life more than you they
38:18tried you did not
38:25[Applause]
38:30all the
38:32excuses
38:33well I tried but I couldn't
38:37get to the pool because nobody was there
38:40to help me here's a problem with a lot
38:42of
38:43you you are depending on too many people
38:46to help you to do what you can do for
38:53yourself do me a favor just nudge your
38:55neighbor tell your neighbor get up and
38:57do something for yourself do something
39:00for yourself with your lazy self stop
39:03complaining stop blaming other people
39:06for where you are and do something for
39:13yourself stop blaming
39:17people stop blaming society stop blaming
39:21white people stop blaming black people
39:24cuz when God is for you when God creates
39:28a theer ain't nobody can stop
39:36[Music]
39:38you stop the
39:40excuses stop
39:45it and
39:47Jesus said something to him which I
39:50believe as I'm closing this is what he's
39:53saying to every one of us in this room
39:55and streaming today and now with the
39:58excuses you're not supposed to be where
40:01you are I'm I'm prophesying to somebody
40:03right
40:04now don't be left behind whatever God is
40:07doing in this
40:08season you you're not really where
40:10you're supposed to
40:12be you're not really where you're
40:14supposed to be you're wasting
40:16time and you're coming up with a whole
40:18bunch of reasons why you are where you
40:21are
40:22today and what Jesus is saying to you
40:25this morning he's looking beyond your
40:28excuses
40:29now he's going to give you a second
40:32chance maybe this is your fourth your
40:36fifth and notice what Jesus did cuz it's
40:40not that the man didn't have the
40:43ability some of you want God to come
40:46down from
40:50heaven and help you to do what you are
40:53capable of doing
40:55yourself read the text
40:57[Applause]
40:59Jesus
41:01never stretch his hands out to him to
41:04say get

62:1720s and your 30s you think you're young
62:20you spending everything you got you're
62:21making more money than than our
62:24forefathers
62:26but you're wasting your
62:27money but take it from a 60-year old guy
62:3120 years will go by this quick and I
62:34can't tell you how many young people I
62:36see got a lot of mouth but ain't got no
62:43money have a lot of
62:46talk but ain't got
62:49nothing cuz they wasted their years you
62:53have an opportunity
62:54now to invest take of
62:58yourself maybe you're sick in your body
63:01and doctors have told you that you're
63:04sick but maybe you're scared you're not
63:06going to go through that procedure take
63:08it from me I have
63:10suffered with my sinus for over 25 years
63:14because I was scared to have surgery and
63:17lived a miserable life for 25
63:20years cuz I was scared for them to put
63:23me out but medicine at advantage so
63:27well that you know what caused me listen
63:30don't be left behind I don't know why
63:32I'm saying this you know what caused me
63:34to have that surgery and it was the best
63:36decision that I've ever made I
63:39regretted suffering 25 years over
63:43something that could have been fixed by
63:45surgery just like
63:47that you know what scared
63:50me I suffered with sleep
63:53apnea I'm not a big guy
63:56but my goodness couldn't sleep well and
64:00I'm not going to do the surgery I have a
64:03deviated SE septum one of my nose was
64:06completely
64:08closed and I woke up one morning after
64:11one night I got up and literally
64:15fainted and I saw on the news Reggie
64:19White died in his
64:22sleep over the same condition I had
64:26I called my doctor so fast I said when
64:28can we go when we can we go in that
64:30operating room
64:32today true
64:34story and I did it the best
64:39decision I've ever made some of you are
64:42scared and you're camping out at a place
64:45that God
64:46says I've left there a long
64:50time you shouldn't be in that condition
64:52I don't know who this word is for don't
64:55be left
64:57behind don't be left behind with what
64:59God is
