0:09thank you for the amazing love that can
0:12be felt in this room and it's all
0:14because of
0:16you we thank you to know that in the
0:19presence of the Lord there's
0:22fullness of
0:24joy grace us with your
0:28presence speak to to
0:30us transform
0:33us change
0:36us so that we will be the best version

0:43be and father we'll be careful to give

1:02what we consider it is
1:06Christmas I think it's important for us
1:08as a people to reflect on the real
1:14meaning of the
1:16celebration why we celebrate in this is
1:20it
1:21because uh we just like to have
1:24fun you know get dressed up and have um
1:30parties or you know see our homes being
1:34decorated giving our kids gifts
1:37receiving gifts or is there a strong
1:41message
1:43behind
1:45Christmas this morning I want to bring
1:47your attention to the subject
1:50unfiltered
1:53love
1:55unfiltered
1:58love a love that is so pure that it is
2:02extended to
2:04you just the way you
2:08are it's not
2:10conditional you don't have to get things
2:14right for this kind of a
2:17love to be extended to
2:20you in the book of 1 John chapter 4
2:23begin at verse 9 all the way to verse 11
2:28here's what John wrote he said says and
2:30I want you to pay attention to this cuz
2:32this is very important here he said this
2:35is how God showed his love Among
2:40Us he sent his one and only son into the
2:45world that we might live through him
2:50this is love not that we loved God but
2:55that he loved us and sent his son as an
2:58atoning sacrif sacrifice for our sins so
3:03dear friends since God so loved us we
3:07also ought to love one
3:11another I'm sure you have encountered
3:14the phrase love is what it
3:18does or love is an action
3:22word essentially it emphasizes that
3:26genuine love is manifested through
3:31actions that's what it is saying love is
3:36an action word it's not just saying I
3:38love you cuz that's kind of human love
3:42human love in most cases is done
3:46verbally but not in
3:48action that's why our relationships are
3:51screwed
3:52up because we love verbally but not in
3:58action we live live in a society that
4:00tends to love only when it's
4:04convenient so we love based on
4:08conditions we love based on who we think
4:12will return the love back to
4:15us our love catch this our love is
4:22filtered through our
4:26feelings our
4:28feelings you see we let our emotions
4:32Drive our love but I want you to know
4:36that God's love is
4:40unfiltered it's not like our
4:42love if I feel like I love you I love
4:46you if you do good to
4:49me then I'll express love to you but not
4:55so with God's love this going to blow
4:57your mind this morning but for those of
4:59you are in the building and you're
5:01streaming and perhaps you are tired of
5:04church and you're frustrated with
5:06religion and you're kind of just just
5:10fed up with life and people because you
5:13know you don't see the genuiness in
5:16people please pay attention because
5:18you're going to understand that somehow
5:21unfortunately the church has gotten it
5:23twisted with this love thing that's why
5:27we can't love one another we can't love
5:31our families we can't love our spouse we
5:34can't love our fiance we can't love our
5:37children we can't love people on on the
5:39job we can't love servants who serve in
5:43government and and you know in the
5:45school system in the private sector we
5:48struggle with this love thing especially
5:50in America there's a seed of
5:54division that has taken over the body of
5:59Christ
6:00and has infected the world the world
6:03actually infected the church with
6:06it because we've
6:08allowed the world to come into the
6:11church to redefine how we should get
6:13along with each
6:15other so division has been brought into
6:18the
6:19church based on
6:22politics based on
6:24classism you have it or you don't have
6:27it based on the perception of
6:31people that if you look a certain way
6:34you're
6:35acceptable if you don't look a certain
6:38way that meets my approval then you're
6:42rejected pay attention here because the
6:45verse I or the verses that I just read
6:47it's amazing this is this is the whole
6:50thing that is wrapped up in the Christ
6:52the Christmas story you see God loves
6:55you whether you love him or not

7:02cuz I'm going to prove it to you in a
7:03minute God loves you whether you love
7:06him or not it's quite different from you
7:08and me we tend to love people if they
7:12love us back but you don't love
7:15[Music]
7:16me I'm not going to love you but when it
7:19comes to
7:21God he loves you whether you love him or
7:23not he loves you whether you believe in
7:26him or not so we Christians get bent out
7:29of shape when we share our faith with
7:31the unchurched people and they reject us
7:34we get mad and then we're ready to send
7:36them to
7:38hell not knowing that God's love I'm
7:42going to prove it to you in just a
7:43minute come on bear with me
7:45here his love is unfiltered
7:49because he's not expecting you to love
7:52him
7:57back you've never heard it this way
8:02before God's not expecting
8:06you to love him
8:08back you see you and I need to thank God
8:12every
8:14day that he doesn't have
8:17emotions in the way we
8:20do oh the fact that he is definitely not
8:26moody like us humans is something we
8:29ought to thank
8:32him
8:35oh cuz we all moody people some of you
8:39woke up this morning in a bad
8:42mood and everybody's suffering the
8:46consequences talk to me here just look
8:48straight at me cuz if you're bad mood
8:51come on now husbands talk to me here for
8:53a moment look straight at me you don't
8:55have to shout amen cuz you're going home
8:57back with her but is isn't it true
9:00sometimes your wife will wake up in a
9:02bad
9:03mood and it makes you question does she
9:07still love me Wives come on now and I
9:10know you going to shout amen now cuz you
9:13see how many times you get up in the
9:16morning and your husband wakes up with a
9:19bad mood and sometimes you
9:22question is he still in love with
9:26me see God's not moody see he woke up
9:30this morning he know where you went last
9:32night he know what you did all week
9:36long he know how confused and unstable
9:39you are yet his love never changed
9:44because of your
9:47actions
9:50ah you see unfiltered love is all about
9:54accepting someone without having them to
9:58tone down down who they
10:01are Don't Go
10:05Changing because you want to please
10:09me you see it is not unconditional love
10:12or an unfiltered love is not censoring
10:16someone so that you don't hear their
10:18true
10:19feelings nor editing them down to the
10:22version of your
10:26preference God loves us in a pure way
10:31with your personality with your
10:34attitude with how moody you
10:37are he loves you unconditionally God
10:41expressed his love not just in words but
10:45also in
10:47demonstration mere verbal expression of
10:50Love Are
10:53insufficient one must demonstrate love
10:57as Illustrated in 1 John 4 especially
11:02verse 9 let me read it again because I I
11:05really need you to watch this and really
11:08hear what God is saying to you this
11:10morning John said this is how God showed
11:12his love among us this is how he showed
11:16his love Among Us he didn't stay in the
11:21Splendor of
11:23heaven and just say you know I love
11:26them because you got to remember now
11:29we were
11:31lost he created Two Perfect People in
11:34the garden Adam and
11:36Eve he gave them the responsibility over
11:40a pure untainted
11:44world and he just said look I'll feed
11:47you I'll clothe you I'll sustain you all
11:51I need you to do is abide by my house
11:55rules that's
11:57all I'm giving you don't have to work
12:01sickness will never be an issue you will
12:05never grow
12:07old you will live
12:11forever cuz I created you just do what I
12:14tell you to do but man allowed a
12:18conversation Eve got pulled away in a
12:22private environment that's how subtle
12:24the enemy is and he got her ears and he
12:27started telling her things and allowed
12:30her to think that wait a minute maybe I
12:32need to explore something outside of the
12:35perimeters of
12:39God and by that one
12:42mistake that Eve
12:44made has brought sin into the world so
12:47we got disconnected from God so here it
12:51is God in heaven is looking down a
12:54perfect group of people that he created
12:57we are now sinning and because of sin it
13:01has caused a domino effect of the spirit
13:05of Darkness all kinds of stuff start
13:09happening why because we tested the
13:12outside perimeters of the
13:15word we got outside of the laws of God
13:18and we now created our own laws so what
13:21God decided to do he says well they're
13:23disconnected from me let me bring them
13:26through certain um rituals to to win
13:29them back to me so through the law God
13:33instituted all of these
13:35practices where you had to have the K
13:38killing of an
13:39animal and sprinkling the blood at an
13:42altar and then even burning the meat of
13:44the animal cooking it a certain way I
13:46mean the rituals they had to go through
13:49in order to be in right standing with
13:52God because the sin or the scent of sin
13:57on the Earth was dis gusting to
14:00God and with all the rituals that we
14:03performed we couldn't get it right all
14:06the
14:07laws even the
14:09Sabbath the Sabbath was not it was only
14:13made to keep us in right standing with
14:15God so when people today argue keep the
14:18Sabbath you don't keep the Sabbath you
14:19know you're not even a Christian all
14:21this garbage and so forth what was the
14:23purpose of the Sabbath was to get us in
14:26line and still we couldn't get it right
14:30so God says wait a
14:32minute all the rituals killing of
14:35animals sprinkling the blood on the
14:37altar all of these festivities that I
14:40command them to do keeping the Sabbath
14:43day holy all of that they couldn't even
14:45keep that Holy what must I do God then
14:49decided I got to come among
14:56them this pure pure and holy and
15:01righteous
15:02God is not acting like some of
15:06us some of you you don't like to get
15:10yourself among people who don't look
15:13like
15:16you you don't want to mingle with people
15:18who look poor or or or or needy or
15:22insignificant cuz some of you with your
15:24bougie self is just acting like you
15:27don't know where you came
15:31from you no longer want to touch people
15:34who you think look different from you
15:36and all that kind God said I want to
15:41come
15:43among the
15:45environment where sin
15:50dominates I want to come in the darkness
15:52I want to come among
15:56you cuz I can't do it from there
16:01anymore and the Bible says he came among
16:05he showed up through the
16:09birth of his son
16:11amen he he took from
16:16himself another person in the form of
16:21Jesus and that's how bad he is because
16:24he's still God in Jesus and still God
16:29in his own
16:31world and he says I'm going to come down
16:33to earth and I want to be among them I
16:37want to get into their
16:42lives so
16:45that because I'm among
16:48you you can live through life look at
16:52the verse it says this is how God showed
16:56up or showed his love Among Us he sent
16:58his one and only son into the world that
17:01we might might might not must we might
17:06it's a proposition we might you choose
17:09him or you
17:10don't but if you want to get through
17:13life you might want to choose
17:16him
17:19oh oh y'all not ready for this so notice
17:23the verse opens up with that he said
17:26this is how God showed himself Among Us
17:28this implies that God chose not only to
17:31express love verbally verbally I should
17:33say but to actually demonstrate it
17:36through actions whether we watch this or
17:39good or bad if we receive him or not
17:44that's how God
17:46operates and then this is why you and I
17:49should perceive watch this the
17:52significance of Christmas merely as a
17:56seasonal celebration you shouldn't just
18:00look at it as a seasonal season seasonal
18:03I should say
18:04celebration it it goes beyond the
18:10festivity it is a
18:12remembrance of the greatest act of Love
18:16shown to humanity on the
18:21earth it's demonstrating his profound
18:26unfiltered love for for all of us so in
18:30in 1 John chapter 4 we see the true
18:33meaning of Christmas wrapped up in a
18:36human
18:37body as our only hope of
18:41redemption our only hope to get us back
18:44into fellowship with God is this human
18:50body called
18:52Jesus the spirit of God resting on him
18:56saying this is now the hope of the world
18:58World verse four it says he sent his
19:01only his one and only son into the world
19:04that we might live through through him
19:08that we might live through him this
19:11conveys that God's love embodied in
19:15Jesus is our only hope for a meaningful
19:20and successful life on the earth a life
19:23that is pleasing to God so ladies and
19:27gentlemen all of us
19:28were sent to the to this world to
19:31navigate our way through life so that we
19:36could be watch this at our best self why
19:40did Jesus come to Earth is to let you
19:43and I know that no matter the condition
19:45of your life no matter who you are he
19:48loves you in an unconditional way
19:52because he wants you to win in life he
19:55wants you to get through life he wants
19:58you to figure out who you are he wants
20:02you to figure out what's your purpose on
20:04the earth he wants you to figure out how
20:06do you connect with people because you
20:09cannot go through this world and not
20:11have
20:13relationships he wants you to figure out
20:15how to leave a legacy for the Next
20:19Generation so you have to understand
20:22that you were sent into the world to
20:24navigate your way through so that you
20:27could be at your best self as it relates
20:29to number one
20:31self-improvement self-improvement
20:34becoming a better version of
20:37yourself God in the form of
20:41Jesus came to the Earth to be among
20:46us loved you in your jacked up
20:51self and said I come that you might have
20:55life to the full till
20:59overflows I've come young lady to show
21:02you that you're better than
21:07that that there's purpose in you you're
21:11full of potential and regardless of your
21:14past and regardless of your life
21:17experiences you're still loaded with
21:20potential you can repair your image you
21:24can get out of that situation that
21:26you're in you don't have to die that way
21:29you can die in a way where God can look
21:32at you and say Well done good and
21:35faithful
21:39servant he came and dwelt among us so
21:44that he can improve you as a
21:47man that regardless of your past that
21:51you can become the best Virgin of
21:53yourself I understand that Society is
21:55looking at you and your past is catching
21:57up up with you and maybe you've made
21:59some mistakes like all of
22:02us but God's unfiltered love did not
22:06look at your situation to decide whether
22:09or not he's going to love you he loved
22:11you just the way you are and he still
22:14believes in
22:15you oh you better catch that
22:19man he still believes in you that you
22:23can be better you can be greater I know
22:26society and people don't want you to
22:28maximize your full potential Society
22:31wants you to be an average but God says
22:34no I want you to live through life to
22:36become your best number two God also
22:39wants you to build healthy
22:42relationships he wants you to build
22:44healthy relationships he came to dwell
22:47Among Us and you know we doesn't we we
22:50really we don't have it right I should
22:52say you know we we we we don't quite get
22:55it right when it comes to our
22:56relationships so he says I I I've come
23:00to help you I've come to dwell among you
23:03to show you that even though you're not
23:06perfect even though you're moody even
23:08though you've gotten things wrong most
23:11of your life I'm going to show you how
23:14to first get your life right and then
23:16I'm going to show you how to treat
23:20people because he wants you to build
23:24healthy
23:25relationships with your parents how to
23:27take take care of your parents how to
23:30honor your parents oh I know I know I
23:32know some of you grew up where your
23:34parents were never there for you maybe
23:35your father was never in the
23:38picture maybe your parents did not treat
23:40you right maybe they considered you the
23:42black sheep of the
23:43family but this incredible love
23:46unfiltered love there was a whole lot of
23:49stuff you and I did that was displeasing
23:52to God yet he chose to love us your
23:56parents might have made some
23:58mistakes that might have dropped the
24:01ball you hate when it's Mother's Day you
24:04hate when it's Father's Day you hate
24:06when it's family gathering because your
24:09family is dysfunctional you see I want
24:12you to understand God came among
24:15us to love us in a way to teach us that
24:20hey wait a
24:22minute you can get it right you can
24:26demonstrate that unfiltered love to your
24:29parents forgive your parents because I
24:32forgave
24:33you forgive your parents let it
24:37go you have the ability to let it go to
24:41build relationships with your family to
24:44build relationship with your fiance if
24:46you cannot build a healthy relationship
24:49with your fiance please do not get
24:53married don't
24:56run don't get married if you can't build
24:59a healthy relationship while dating and
25:02the god in you can do it no matter how
25:04dysfunctional you are no matter how
25:07broken you are because some of you your
25:10relationship it's two broken people
25:13trying to find love and the only
25:15foundation you can find the purest love
25:18on it is on Jesus
25:21Christ that's
25:23it he'll teach you how to love your
25:26fiance he'll teach you how to love that
25:29man not one in his house his land his
25:32car and his bank
25:36accounts I told you they were not going
25:38to say Amen when I when I wrote it down
25:41they weren't going to say amen I knew
25:42they weren't going to say
25:44Amen cuz that's the kind of society that
25:47we live in we only want to marry people
25:50who can
25:51benefit our agenda am you do right by me
25:56you can provide all the these things I
25:59marry
26:00you we filter our
26:03love you have to come
26:06right and no wonder we can't measure up
26:09to your
26:12expectation God did not ask us to
26:14measure up to his expectation Jesus took
26:17care of all of
26:18that oh my goodness man this is good
26:25man same with your
26:28marriage this unfiltered love when you
26:32enter your marriage and you learn to be
26:36forgiven you learn to
26:40forgive how could you build a healthy
26:43marriage and still holding grudges for
26:4615 years 10 years 5 years still angry
26:50still
26:52bitter did Christ come among
26:56you to show you how to live through
27:00life did he not forgive you of your sins
27:05and how many times has he told you to
27:08forgive
27:15people so how could you say you're on
27:18your way to heaven and you're a
27:19Christian and you're clapping and you're
27:21presenting yourself as the most
27:23righteous person in the world but you
27:25cannot treat your spouse with de
27:30decy with
27:33respect With
27:37Honor but you don't see her as a
27:40queen you don't see him as your
27:44king how could you how could you how are
27:48you going to get through life and the
27:53marage with filtered
27:56love well you know for me to act right
28:00towards you you got to apologize and you
28:04got to do these things and you got to do
28:06these things and you got to do these
28:08things and I want to take you all the
28:10way back to

28:141972 and remind you step by step of the
28:18things you did to break my
28:26heart
28:28I wonder if
28:29God would stop for a
28:32moment and start going back from the day
28:35you were
28:37born all the stuff you did that he knows
28:42about to decide whether or not he's
28:45going to love you do you see now how
28:47many of you have given room to the devil
28:49to tear up your
28:53marriage cuz you call yourself a
28:55Christian but you have zero signs
28:58of unfiltered
29:09love he wants you to build healthy
29:12relationships with your friends your
29:15co-workers and the community at
29:18large he also came among us to teach us
29:22how to handle our
29:24finances to teach us you told us how
29:28could you build a house and not count
29:30the cost to teach us could let's be
29:33honest the reason why so many of us
29:35can't get through
29:37life it's simply because we don't know
29:39how to manage our
29:41money we have a spending
29:45demon in fact lesions of
29:50them a different one shows up every day
29:54of the
29:55week every day
29:58and on Black Friday I mean their cousin
30:00uncle nephew everybody show
30:04up think about that you see all of us
30:07were sent into the world to navigate our
30:09way through life we know that the verse
30:11says in verse 9 he sent his son into the
30:14world that we should live through him
30:16this means that we should live our lives
30:19through Jesus
30:20Christ and not just watch this our
30:25intellect and the wisdom of
30:29society it's
30:31dangerous listen listen to me listen
30:34just listen to this young 59y old
30:39guy if you
30:42think you are that
30:45smart that you can navigate your way
30:47through life without
30:50God you're
30:56stupid
31:01certified
31:05stupid you're
31:07crazy you crazy you cannot go through
31:11life without the protection and guidance
31:15and wisdom of God do you all believe
31:21that now watch this as I'm trying to
31:23close this verse 10 speaks deeply to me
31:26deep ly to me this is where the meat of
31:29the message for me is located it reveals
31:33the essence of God's
31:36unfiltered love for all of
31:40us it distinctively states that God
31:44chose watch this now to demonstrate his
31:48love for
31:49us when we were
31:52Sinners incapable of
31:55navigating life life
31:58successfully so ladies and gentlemen
32:00none of us should have to suffer through
32:03life worried about how we're going to
32:06make it into
32:08tomorrow we shouldn't be worried about
32:10how we're going to be sustained or how
32:14we're going to be
32:15loved or what our eternity will be
32:19here's what John 3:16 as a little boy we
32:23had to recite this so many
32:26times this is the whole message of this
32:30unfiltered
32:32love a lot of people don't want to tell
32:34you about listen this is it this is what
32:38grab a hold of me I have I've been
32:41reciting this verse for years and it's
32:44like the Holy Spirit just boom just
32:46showed me something here it says for God
32:48so loved the world that he gave watch
32:51this his one and only son which ties
32:54into what uh first John told us and and
32:57then it says watch this now pay
32:59attention to this part of the verse and
33:01whosoever believes in Him should not
33:05perish but have eternal life so please
33:07pay attention to the essence of the
33:09verse it doesn't specify watch this that
33:14God's
33:15love or that God loves I should say only
33:20those who have their lives sorted
33:25out although those who have figured
33:29everything out the verse declares for
33:32God so loved the world watch it then he
33:36presents to us this
33:38proposition it says whosoever
33:42believes in his love will not perish his
33:46love is given to
33:50everybody he didn't say the verse did
33:53not say that for God so
33:57love those who believe in
34:03him that's not what the verse said for
34:06God so loved the
34:07world who make up the world
34:11everybody Believers and
34:14unbelievers so he says I love the world
34:17I came among the world and then the
34:20verse says that whosoever it's a choice
34:25now if this is not unfiltered love then
34:29I don't know what else
34:32is God doesn't love us because we
34:35pretend to be righteous or that we're we
34:38have some special access to his power
34:41and his presence he loves us without
34:44condition and then he gave us the option
34:47to choose his unfiltered love so that we
34:50don't
34:51self-destruct or
34:54perish he said I love the world world
34:58that whosoever I love
35:00everybody but if you choose to believe
35:02in me you don't
35:06perish you don't have to do Life by
35:08yourself that's if you
35:11choose he's just saying I love the world
35:13I love people not like church
35:15people not like
35:18religion you see what we preach a lot of
35:21times is people must get their act
35:24together
35:25first before they join our
35:29church according to John
35:313:16 I love you you're part of
35:35me but I'm not I am your creator I'm not
35:38needy I'm not begging you to love
35:42me I love you and before you were formed
35:47in your mother's womb I know you're
35:55crazy I know your
35:58mood I know your personality you see
36:01folks can't handle
36:02you because they're trying to control
36:04you I'm not trying to contr I created
36:07you and I know your personality type I
36:10love you I ain't going to force you to
36:13love me back now if you choose to
36:15believe in
36:22me glory to if you choose to believe in
36:26me that's why ladies and gentlemen this
36:28is what I call Reckless Love
36:32Reckless it's Reckless man God was
36:37Reckless when he expressed his love to
36:42us he is unconcerned about what you did
36:46or did not do he more interested in you
36:50living your life through him
36:53therefore
36:55you without
36:57caution he loved you I want to close it
37:01with this
37:02song that the worship team is going to
37:04sing and I just believe God wants me to
37:07pray for some people this
37:10morning who just want to embrace this
37:14unfiltered love that no matter who you
37:18are that you're going to say God you
37:20know what I've never seen love like this
37:24before this song re love oh the
37:28overwhelming

37:36this it
37:38chases Me Down fight till I'm
37:49found he will leave the
37:5599 I couldn't earn it I couldn't earn it
38:00I don't deserve it still you gave

38:06away this is The Reckless
38:09love that I'm talking about
38:12today the unfiltered love of
38:16God so as we are getting closer to
38:20celebrating December
38:2325th I know that's not the day Jesus was
38:27born so Henry why are you celebrating it
38:30well here's the
38:31thing please stick to the fact that he
38:37came
38:39period we may not get the date
38:42right CU in reality history teaches us

45:21system you have to measure up to their
45:24rules not with God he simply says
