Summary
Bishop Henry Fernandez encourages believers to move from their comfort zones into the 'pavilion' of God's protection, highlighting that true revival and security come through consistent dwelling in His presence and radical obedience.
Key points
- •Genuine hunger for God leads to spiritual revival, which causes faith to rise and expectations to expand for what God can do.
- •Spiritual opposition often increases as you get closer to your destiny; believers must remain alert and sober-minded against the enemy's tactics.
- •Obedience in giving, especially sacrificial seeds, acts as a spiritual insurance policy that invites God to rebuke the devourer and release tied-up resources.
- •Safety and security are not found in finances or comfort zones but exclusively under the covering and 'pavilion' of the Almighty.

This week, identify one area where you have been relying on your own security (finances, career, or comfort) and intentionally surrender it to God through prayer, choosing to 'dwell' in His presence daily rather than just visiting Him during emergencies.
Reflection questions
- In what areas of your life have you felt the most opposition lately, and how does viewing it as a sign of nearing your purpose change your perspective?
- What does 'dwelling' in God's shelter look like for you practically on a Tuesday morning versus a Sunday morning?
- Is there a relationship or a 'comfort zone' you are holding onto that might be hindering you from moving into the next chapter God has for you?
- How does the testimony of Mimi challenge or encourage your own perspective on financial obedience and trust?

0:00I don't know what your experience
0:04has been in the month of
0:10July, but I promise you, if
0:16you let go and let God
0:24He will not only show up mightily in your life, but he'll use
0:30your experience as a testimony that God is well able. A part of
0:36what we do here at the Faith Center in every service is to
0:42give all of you, whether you're here or you're streaming, an opportunity to
0:48sow into the ministry, to help us to do kingdom work.
0:53You have to see giving greater than just a preacher begging
0:59for money. This should be our reasonable service unto God. That
1:05when God blesses us with a job, with a place of
1:10business, any form of income, that we should make a decision
1:16to return a portion of that to his house, his temple.
1:22so that the work of the kingdom can continue. Remember, the gospel is
1:28always free. Nobody should ever charge you for the gospel. But the business
1:34of the gospel in the earthly realm must be taken care of by
1:39kingdom citizens. And so for the month of July, we've asked all of
1:45you, those of you streaming on campus, To let this month
1:51be a month that you make a sacrificial seed unto God.
1:57If the heart is there, God will get it to you.
2:02If he can get the blessing through you, don't miss this,
2:08he'll get it to you. If you have no desire to
2:14be generous, then he cannot trust you with more. You should
2:19never, even in your nothingness, the things you don't have, Never
2:25say or with the mindset I can't do because the moment you've done that
2:31you shut off the valve that pours the blessing in your life. So when
2:36God gives you an opportunity to give and you honestly don't have it, your
2:42prayer should be God, I want to do it and he will honor his
2:48word. And I wonder how many of you here streaming who God
2:53wanted to do something in July for you, but he was just waiting for
2:59obedience. The Bible says obedience is better than the sacrifices that you make. Maybe
3:05he's asking you, here's a portion I want you to give to the furtherance
3:11of my work here on the earth, but you have yet to obey. I
3:16am telling you, When you honor God with your substance, the Bible says
3:22he will then rebuke the devourer. It's like an insurance policy. When you
3:28honor God with a portion of what you earn. And listen, you got
3:34to think with me here. For most of us, let's be honest, we
3:39don't have enough anyway. Let me say it again. For most of us,
3:45we don't have enough anyway. Your income and all the monies that are
3:50coming in is not enough. So when you're running with insufficient funds,
3:56what do you do? You look to the hills. From whence cometh your help?
4:02You take out of what you already have and you say, God, it's a
4:07seed. And watch him surprise you. I can't tell you how many people have
4:13walked up to me and shared with me, Bishop, I didn't have it, but
4:19my heart, my prayer was to give it and God did it. This morning,
4:24another young lady said, walked up to me in the lobby. "Where are you,
4:30Mimi?" "Mimi, where are you?" "Stand wherever you are." "Mimi, where's Mimi?" "Would you
4:36come here for a second, Mimi?" "Come here." Give her a microphone. A couple
4:42of weeks, I think it was, she saw me in the lobby and she
4:47came back today. Give her the mic and let her come up here.
4:53and with tears in her eyes, you know, and shared her testimony and I asked
4:58her, I said, "Look, would you mind talking today?" And she says, "No, I'm shy.
5:03I don't like the crowd." And I said, "You can do it." I said, "Somebody
5:07in here need to hear this today, all right?" So I know you're breathing, you're
5:12out of breath. Okay, we're with you, we're with you. You're gonna make it, girl.
5:17You're gonna make it. All right. Tell us what you told me
5:23in the lobby this morning. Hold the microphone close to
5:28your mouth, please. Good morning, everyone. Once again, my name
5:34is Mimi. Sorry. I spoke to Pastor Henry. I told
5:40him two weeks ago. Thank you. I told him two
5:45weeks ago I wanted to give $350 to the church.
5:51My job owed me money, and they noticed that, and
5:57I prayed on it, and I said, Lord, I
6:03If they give me $350, I'm gonna give it to the church. I
6:09have it right here, $350 in my hand. I was here two weeks
6:14ago with my mom and I also told her the same thing. I
6:20said, "Mom, if I get blessed with $350, "I'm going to give it
6:26to my church." And on it, it said, "God did this, amen." -
6:31If God did this, amen, quickly Mimi, what would you say to people,
6:37whether they're here or they're streaming, who just feel financially they
6:42can't or they just confused with where they are financially based on
6:48your experience with god what would you say to them trust in
6:54god trust in god because i gave him my trust you can
7:00as well trust in him well i got baptized here i got
7:06baptized here my brother christ rodarius got me into this church wow
7:11thank you thank you thank you Well, see, it wasn't that difficult. You,
7:17you're a pro now. You're a pro now. You can speak on a Sunday morning
7:23now. All right? No? No? No? Okay. Would you give it up for her? Thank
7:29you so much. Thank you. So quickly, here's what we're going to do. I want
7:35every person who have not yet made that pledge. Remember, most of you normally give
7:41every Sunday. Thank you for your giving. Thank you for making ministry continue each and
7:47every week. But those of you who want to be like Mimi
7:53this morning, would you just trust God this morning? Would you trust him? You're streaming
7:58online and you may be thinking, how can I? We've asked for 350. I am
8:03not here to promise you he's going to do this or he's going to do
8:08that. How we came up with that number, we're just asking everyone to give $10
8:13a year for the length of this church. We are in ministry now for 35
8:19years. And we ask that you will sow a seed of $10 per year
8:24for us. We've even asked some of you who God has blessed tremendously, if you
8:30can give $1,000, then you do that. You can give $1,000 or more. But if
8:35you don't have it, it is, I know a lot of us can do the
8:41350, but there's some of us who honestly can't. What is your best? Is it
8:47$100? You know, what is your best? There's a lot of
8:52me-me's in this room online. All God wants from you is your
8:58willingness. There are monies that are tied up right now that one
9:04act of obedience can release it. And if God wants you to
9:09give a certain amount, can you imagine how much more he wants
9:15to bring in your pocket? Amen. So we have some special envelopes.
9:22And on the envelopes, it says, My Faith Seed. If you're going to give towards
9:27that special request to the Faith Center, raise your hand and these ministers will walk
9:33around and give it to you. Come on, move around. Ministers, go around, move around.
9:39Everybody, make that effort. Make the effort. Those of you online, make the effort.
9:45And I just wish, can you imagine? It doesn't cost you anything to walk in
9:50faith. This young lady, two weeks ago, God, I want to do it. And she
9:55just trusted God. She's bringing her seed today. Bringing her seed today. And I think
10:00that God has much more for her in store. Amen. There's some people in the
10:05back there. Please make sure we give it out. But all of us, this is
10:11the last Sunday in July. Make sure you make that pledge. And give it to
10:16God, whatever amount you feel. And this morning, can I ask if you can, just
10:21if you can, again, don't feel obligated to this. I hope this doesn't turn you
10:26off. We cannot do ministry if we don't have the resources to do it. End
10:31of story. But if everyone could give at least $100 today, it would really help
10:36us to meet our budget this week. And I appreciate you for doing that. On
10:42the screen is ways to give. You can give by push pay. Text into that
10:47number that's on the screen. Make sure you use that number. And again, if you
10:53tried it once and somehow it's not working, please try again. Sometimes, you know, with
10:58technology, there's an issue, a glitch in the system and so forth. You can do
11:03it through Zelle. Make sure you're typing in the letters exactly the way you see
11:08them on the screen. For those of you who are streaming overseas, PayPal and thefaithcenterint.org,
11:14that's our website, are your best options to give. Some of you can call that
11:20number on your screen right now. There's a ministry operator waiting for you. There's another
11:26person all the way in the back there. Please raise your hand and make sure
11:31you get those envelopes. All right. Those of you who are giving, uh, your regular
11:37offerings and your tithe by using the offering envelopes in the pockets of your chairs.
11:42Look to your left, to your right, you will see it. And the Lord richly
11:47bless you for your giving this morning. Wouldn't it be wonderful if everybody in this
11:52house, before the end of the year, you sow that special seed. If you don't
11:58have it today, that's fine. God will never ask you for what you don't have.
12:04but if you can shift your funds around and say, "Lord, I give it to
12:09this house. I come here week after week. This is the house that feeds me.
12:14This is the house that empowers me every week. And so, Lord, I give it
12:18to this house and I'm trusting you. I promise you, he will bless you." Father,
12:23we thank you for the seed, the giving of your people now. May you bless
12:28the seed. May you multiply it. Thank you for taking care of the needs of
12:33this house because you've put it in our hearts to bring the tithe
12:39and the offering into the storehouse. And then you said you will rebuke
12:44the devourer, those little things that comes to take our money away. Father,
12:50I pray for those who willingly want to give. I know, like Mimi,
12:56you'll give it to them. Thank you that you're raising up people with
13:01a spirit of generosity in this house. And we give you all the
13:07praise for online viewers who sow week after week. Bless this offering.
13:13I know in this house you are tugging at people's heart.
13:19You're challenging them. This is your day. This is your moment.
13:24You can do this because I've empowered you to do it.
13:30Thank you for the breakthroughs that they will experience. In Jesus'
13:36mighty name. If you're given with a regular
13:42offering envelopes, you can pass the containers around and let's
13:48worship the Lord with giving. And I will go straight
13:54into the sermon right now and wrap things up. We're
13:59going to switch some things around this morning. God bless
14:05you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Pass those containers
14:11around. Thank you. The Lord bless you. Thank you so
14:17much for your giving this morning. Appreciate you. Appreciate you.
14:23Amen. At 3 o'clock today, the Council General
14:29of Jamaica will be hosting Jamaica's 64th Independence at 3 p.m. We'll invite you
14:34to come out. I know it's going to be a tight turnaround, but we
14:40would love to see you here this evening at 3 p.m. Hopefully you can
14:46join us on Wednesday for our midweek service. And then our young people will
14:52be having their Impact Night. We hope that you will support them. It's
14:58$10 to attend just to help them defray some of the cost that they
15:04have. We hope that you'll be a part of it. You can scan the
15:10QR code and get your ticket. The box office will be open immediately after
15:15service on today. Amen. Can we put our hands together one more time and
15:21thank God for what he's doing here at the Faith Center. Thank you so
15:27much for your giving today. Would you stand with me
15:32as I do my assignment, and that is to release
15:38you with the word for the week. Not just for
15:43today, but what will propel you throughout this week. I
15:49want to take you to a book in Psalm that
15:55we've been talking about throughout this month and that is
16:01Psalm 91. Psalm 91. There are two verses I want us
16:06to read. Two verses. And I'm going to ask for your
16:12participation this morning that we all read it out loud that
16:17Psalm 91, this is a prayer of David. It's a challenge
16:23to all of us and hopefully the Holy Spirit will speak
16:28to us this morning with these two verses. Are
16:34you ready? Let's read. Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most
16:40High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say
16:45of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress, my God
16:51in whom I trust. Father, thank you for your word today. Bless
16:56your people. Let this word minister to their hearts I
17:02pray in Jesus name Amen God bless you you may be seated
17:08in the presence of the Lord I'm gonna try to do this
17:14as quickly as possible today but I told you earlier I was
17:20struggling whether or not I should just flow with what's flowing or
17:26should I still deliver this word and I strongly believe in my
17:32spirit that God wants me to share this with you.
17:37As we conclude the month of July, I believe that many
17:43of us can honestly say that this has been more than
17:48just another month on the calendar. It has been a month
17:54of spiritual renewal. For many, July has been a month of,
18:00number one, recommitment. surrender, consecration, generosity, and revival. You see,
18:05God has been calling us back to himself. Not because
18:11he moved away from us, but because he desires a
18:17deeper relationship with us. Some of you have developed a
18:22fresh hunger for God, and that's good. It's good that
18:28you have developed a fresh hunger for God. And
18:33whenever there is a genuine hunger for God,
18:39faith begins to rise. When faith rises, expectations
18:45change. When expectations change, possibilities expand. That is
18:51why I believe the remainder of 2026 will
18:57not simply be about surviving, But it will
19:02be about witnessing God's supernatural hand at work in your life.
19:08The Apostle Paul reminds us in 1 Corinthians 2:9, and you've
19:14got to hear this. He says, "Eyes have not seen, nor
19:20ears heard, nor have entered into the heart of a man
19:25the things which God has prepared for those who love Him."
19:33If I was to sum up this verse, I will sum it up this way.
19:37Paul is trying to tell us that your best days are ahead of you.
19:43That you haven't seen all of the blessings that God has
19:49in store for you. So I believe that God has blessings
19:54and opportunities and breakthroughs, healing, restoration and favor waiting for those
20:00who remain faithful. Notice those who remain faithful. Let me say
20:05it again. Those who remain faithful. But there's something we must
20:11understand. about what I just said. You see, the closer
20:17you get to God's purpose, watch this, the greater the opposition
20:22often becomes. Anytime you make a commitment to rededicate your life
20:28to God, to develop a hunger for God, the enemy is
20:34going to come after you. So let me give you a
20:40spiritual forecast for the next five months. The
20:46enemy is not going to surrender because you recommitted yourself to God. Don't
20:52believe now that you have surrendered to God, now that God is Lord
20:58of your life, that the enemy is going to retreat. He's not going
21:03to stop because you started praying again. He's not going to quit because
21:09you decided to fast or to become serious about your faith walk.
21:15In fact, scripture reminds us in 1 Peter 5 and verse
21:218, he says, be alert and be sober minded. Be alert,
21:27be sober minded. Be alert, be sober minded. Why? The enemy,
21:33the devil prowls around like a roaring lion seeking for someone
21:39to devour. That's his assignment. He's looking for you.
21:45He knows how dedicated you are to God. He knows how serious you are to
21:51God. Some of you, listen, you know it by now, your only option is God.
21:56That's it. You've made up in your mind that your only option is to turn
22:02to God. And so what the enemy is going to do, he
22:08is going to prowl around, if you will. He's going to dance around
22:14and plant himself around the circumstances of your life because his goal is
22:19to get you. That's his goal. Notice the Bible says he's looking. He's
22:25looking for you. He's looking for those who become careless.
22:31He's looking for those who drift away. He's looking for those
22:36who abandon their spiritual discipline. But hear God's promise in Isaiah
22:4254:17. He says, "Even though the devil is a prowler, even
22:48though he's looking around and he's trying to get you, the
22:54Bible says no weapon forged against you will prevail." You
23:00see the weapons will form, the attack may come, the pressure may increase, but if
23:05you remain under God's covering, it will not destroy you. And I just want to
23:11tell a few of you this morning who are here, who are streaming, that I
23:16don't care what you are going through, if you are God's child, no weapon that
23:22the enemy has formed against you will ever prosper. It's not going to work.
23:28But here's what you gotta know my friends. The safest
23:34place during the next five months of this year is
23:39simply is not going to be in your comfort zone.
23:45The safest place to be is not in your comfort
23:51zone. It is not in your finances. Lord knows it's not
23:56in your finances. I don't care how much money you got saved up. I
24:02don't care how your credit card is still available to charge things on it.
24:08Let me tell you something. Don't you trust in chariots and horses? Don't you
24:13trust in your money alone? Because I've been telling
24:19you and I'm not standing here as a pastor trying to be no
24:25prophet because we've seen so many false prophets and people just trying to
24:31get clicks and likes on social media and keep prophesying this is going
24:37to happen. I am not and I don't need any credit for this.
24:42But I've been warning you there's some stuff that's about to happen. There's
24:48some stuff that's about to happen to America and the world.
24:55that you better make sure your anchor grips
25:00the solid rock. You cannot trust your finances.
25:06Your security is not in your career. It
25:12is under the covering of Almighty God. Psalm
25:1791, it tells us, "Whoever dwell in the
25:23shelter of the Most High will rest in
25:28the shadow of the Almighty." Notice the
25:34word dwell. It means to remain, to stay,
25:39to continue. Not just to visit occasionally. Not
25:45seeking God only during emergencies. You know when
25:51you're in trouble. Help me God, help me.
25:57No, but it is to make his presence
26:02your permanent residence. Those who dwell under God's
26:08covering. Discover that his protection is greater than life's
26:14circumstances. I don't know where you are today in life.
26:19I don't know where you are. But you need to
26:25come from where you are and get under the presence
26:30of Almighty God. There's a place. The Bible says, what
26:36the psalmist says, whoever dwells, it's a proposition. Nobody's forcing you to do
26:42it. God's not forcing you to come to him. He's not forcing you
26:48to look to him, the off and the finish of your faith. He's
26:53giving you an invitation. Whoever dwells in the shelter, a safe place, the
26:59shadow of the almighty, you'll be safe. You'll be safe.
27:05You're hanging out of the wrong places. And God has given
27:11you an invitation for the next five months of this year
27:16to be safe. You cannot trust the systems of the world
27:22anymore. You cannot trust religion anymore. You cannot trust people anymore.
27:28But there's one person who will never fail you. His name
27:34is Jesus. And it's time you come from
27:40among them. Come out of the crowd and totally surrender your life to
27:45God. Today we've been talking about the blood of Jesus. We took communion
27:51and there's something about the shelter of God. There's something about the shelter
27:57of God. Listen, he's not coming to you. You've got to come to
28:03him. Please bring me the sheet. Please bring me the sheet. Now I need four
28:08guys here with me. I need four. Duval, come here quickly. Come here. Yes, come
28:12here. I need four guys. I need two more. Two more. Two more. Two more.
28:16Quickly. Two more. Two more guys. Two more. Yes. I got it. I got it.
28:20I got it. I got it. Do me a favor. Open this and you're going
28:24to make like a canopy, like an umbrella. Just open up both ends, please. Quickly.
28:29I want to do this quick because I'm almost out of time. Hold it up.
28:33Hold it up. So the scripture says, I want to read
28:38it again because now it's going to make sense. Whoever dwells
28:44in the shelter, the shelter that God has created, not the
28:50one that you've created. Oh, so you think you are safe
28:56because you got a degree and you got your job and
29:02you got a little bit of money or you've got connections.
29:07That's your covering. But what you're going to do when you're
29:14off your covering whoever dwells in the shelter the
29:20safest place is in the shelter of god almighty
29:25because when you're under his pavilion ain't nothing can
29:31touch you i double dog dare the devil to
29:37come into the perimeters that god has put around
29:42you to mess with you because when you're in
29:48the shelter of the most high god This is
29:54where his presence, his blessings, his anointing will overtake you. And
30:00so I don't care what age you are. I don't care
30:06what age you are. Bring the four chairs out. I don't
30:11care what age you are. You may be a young person
30:17this morning. I'm telling you this morning. Listen to me carefully.
30:23You better leave where you're at and get under the covering.
30:29Because when trouble takes you, There's only one place to
30:34run to where do I go to I run to the rock Anybody
30:40know who that rock is? I said anybody knows who that rock is
30:46that rock is Jesus He said upon this rock. I build my church.
30:52I just stopped by to encourage somebody here today Ain't nobody can mess
30:58with you ain't nobody can harm you can hurt you
31:04when you're under the shelter of the most high God.
31:10Let them work their witchcraft. Let them point things at
31:16you. Let them talk about you. They're nothing before you
31:22can be against. Tell your neighbor, get under the pavilion
31:27of God. Get under the covering of God. So it's
31:33going to require you to leave your comfort zone. Come
31:39here. It's gonna require you to leave your comfort zone and
31:45watch this You don't sit where God wants you to sit where you
31:50want to sit you sit where he place you know You sit where
31:56he place you I'm going somewhere with this. I'm going somewhere with this
32:02It's time you leave your comfort zone. Come here, sir. Come here. I'm
32:08talking to you It's time you leave the season of comfort God's
32:14trying to push you into your destiny. He's trying to birth something
32:19great out of your eyes of not seeing. You have yet to
32:25hear the elevation that God wants to bring into your life. In
32:30fact, he'll prepare a table before you in the presence of your
32:36enemies. He lets your enemies see and watch how he's getting ready
32:42to bless you. Don't know this is for come
32:48on sir. Come on. Come on be seated there be seated there I
32:53need me a child who's about ten years ten years the first kid
32:59that is about ten run up here real fast I'm going something and
33:05about ten ten anybody come here. Come here, sweetheart even Children listen to
33:11me parents listen to me parents stop worrying about your kids what you
33:17gotta make sure that Like my mom when she was alive. I grew
33:22up where my mom would wake up 2 o'clock in the morning, 3 o'clock in
33:28the morning and she'll come to our room. Glory to God. And she'll make sure
33:33we're under the covering of God. while we're sleeping all my mom would
33:39do I bless them in the name of the Father the blood the
33:45blood of Jesus touch my boy touch my girl in the name of
33:51Jesus you've got to start warfarin for your children right now the devil
33:56is out to get them but if you bring them on to the
34:02pavilion of God no weapon formed against them will ever prosper and here's
34:08what I love God because there are times the enemy will see that
34:14you are under God's pavilion and he's a prowler I read it before he's a
34:20prowler he's looking around to find a way where he can shoot his darts at
34:26you because he says he knows I can't get under the pavilion the devil can't
34:32go where God placed you He'll bribe you, he'll
34:38push you, come. He'll call you, he'll attempt to get you out of
34:43the pavilion. And when he can't get you out of the shelter of
34:49God, he'll try to shoot darts at you. But the thing I love
34:54about the psalmist when he says, whoever dwell in the shelter of the
35:00Most High will rest. Somebody shout rest. Will rest in the shadow of
35:05the Almighty. Here is what God is getting ready to do it. I don't know
35:11if you're going to shout like me, but when he showed it to me, I
35:15almost lost my mind when I was putting my notes together. He said, Henry, tell
35:20the people it's time to rest.
35:30You know why? Because every fiery darts of the enemy is not going
35:36to work now. You know why? Because he says, son, I'm about to
35:42do something the next five months of 2026 that is going to cover
35:48my people so well that everything the devil tries, it won't work. This
35:54is what God's getting ready to do. Work with me here. Come on.
36:00Hit somebody and tell them I'm fully covered. Tell
36:06somebody else I'm fully covered. Whatever the enemy is trying in
36:12the next five months got you covered from the back, from
36:17the front, from the side. I'm telling you, God's about to
36:23elevate you to a new high and blow your mind. Somebody
36:29shout out. Stay right there. Stay right there. I'm almost through.
36:34So here are four commitments you need to activate for the
36:40rest of 2026. Please be seated for a quick moment.
36:46Number one, you got to stay consistent. Got to stay consistent,
36:52man. The Bible says do not become weary in doing good.
36:57Don't you stop doing good for at the proper time, proper
37:03time, proper time. God, you will reap, the Bible says, a
37:08harvest if you do not give up. One of the greatest
37:14enemies of spiritual growth is inconsistency. Many people
37:19begin strong but fail to finish well. Consistency builds
37:25character. Consistency strengthens faith. Consistency positions you for God's
37:31promises. So don't let disappointment interrupt your devotion to
37:37God. Stay grounded in prayer. Stay faithful in worship.
37:43Stay committed in God's word. Stay planted where God
37:49leads. has called you to stay there oh it's
37:55uncomfortable you know in a society where everybody wants
38:01to show off but god's got you covered he's
38:07hiding you from things that you don't even see
38:12so stay grounded in prayer stay faithful in worship
38:18stay committed to god's word number two learn who
38:24and you see what i was preaching to myself
38:29when i was getting the notes man number two
38:35learn of silence. Proverbs 17:28, "Even fools
38:41are thought wise if they keep silent."
38:47The problem with some of you, you
38:52talk too much. You got to explain
38:58yourself to everybody. Not everything deserves an
39:03explanation. Not every criticism deserves a response.
39:09Not every opinion deserves your attention.
39:14Jesus often reminds or remained silent before those who
39:20were determined to misunderstand him. Sometimes God fight battles
39:26that your words will only be quiet. You don't
39:32have to respond. Let God defend your character while
39:38you remain faithful to the call. You stay where
39:44he has planted you. Number three. Accept that
39:50everyone cannot go where God has taken you.
39:55I can't dance, but I got to do
40:00a little bit of dance myself. Go where
40:06God has taken you. Genesis 12 verse 1,
40:11we find the story where God told Abraham,
40:16Go to a land that I will show
40:22you. When Abraham was called, God called him
40:27away from the place he was familiar with.
40:33but he made a mistake, made a mistake.
40:39He took somebody with him that God said
40:44no to. Every season in your life requires,
40:50watch this, difficult decisions. Everyone who started with
40:55you cannot always continue with you. Not because
41:01they are bad people, but because every assignment
41:06requires, watch this, different relationships. So
41:12don't allow guilt to keep you connected to people who
41:18God has released from the next chapter of your life.
41:24You don't owe them any explanation. When God released people,
41:30let them go. All you need to do is to
41:36walk forward with love, but always obedient. Finally, number four,
41:42pursue God above everything else. Matthew 6, 33 tells us,
41:47seek first the kingdom of God as righteousness and all these things will
41:53be added to you as well. So our greatest pursuit should never be,
41:59watch this, success. Should never be possessions, should never be recognition. Our greatest
42:05pursuit should always be to know God and to at the right place,
42:11at the right time, where he has planted us. The more you know
42:17about Him, the more you know about Him is the more clearly you'll recognize
42:23His voice, the more clearly you'll recognize Him and the more confident you will
42:29walk in His purpose for your life. So as we prepare for the final
42:34five months of this year, please remember this, the greatest victory you can experience
42:40is not merely reaching, watch this, another goal, it is remaining under the covering
42:46of Almighty God because storms will come opposition
42:51will come unexpected moments will come but those
42:57who remain in God's presence only those who
43:02remain in God's presence the Bible says will
43:08dwell forever I say this Psalm 121 verse
43:147 and verse 8 the Lord will keep
43:19you watch this this is the word when
43:25all hell breaks loose The
43:31Lord will keep you from some harm. What does
43:36your Bible say? All harm. He will watch over
43:42your life. The Lord will watch over your coming
43:48and your going. Both now. Both now. So you're
43:54going to be alright in August. You're going to
43:59be alright in September. Oh yes, you're going to
44:05be alright in October. You're going to be fine
44:11in November. Come December, oh, he's still
44:16watching over you. Why? Because you're under the covering
44:22as uncomfortable as it feels. Come on, hold both
44:28ends. Because I don't know how you work with
44:34me here. Too fast, too fast. But at the
44:40right, let them talk. Let them say, where is
44:46she? Where is he? I haven't heard anything. Let
44:52them talk. God's got you for a set time.
44:58Because when the right time comes and he lifts the veil.
45:04Hello world. It's a brand new you. My eyes have not
45:10seen what God is doing in your life. I'm telling you
45:16the next season of your life God is going to showcase
45:21you to the world. Somebody ought to give him a praise
45:27in this house. Stand on your feet everybody. Please work with
45:33me. If you don't have to leave, just stay right where you are. You
45:39don't have to log off right now. I'm going to let you go. Thank
45:45you so much, everyone. Thank you so much. But I please, please, I really
45:51want you to hear this. In fact, would you hold hands with your neighbor?
45:57Would you do that? Just hold hands with somebody that you're standing next to.
46:03I'm telling you this morning. I'm telling you. Get onto the pavilion. Get onto
46:09the shelter of God. Because, again, I don't... If you
46:15don't believe me, that's fine. But the devil,
46:20God has given him permission to make a
46:25move. He can't make no move without God.
46:31So God gave him a permission to make
46:36a move. But it's all in the plan
46:42of God. Because all things, as uncomfortable as
46:47it is, all things work together for good
46:53to them that love the Lord and are
46:58called to accomplish purpose. So there
47:04are going to be some series of
47:09events that is going to shock the
47:15core of who we are. And if
47:21you're playing church, you only get under
47:26the pavilion when there's an emergency. You're
47:32going to come to the door and
47:37it's locked because you didn't heed the
47:43warning. This is not for people who
47:49just want to visit God. He that
47:54dwelleth, stay, remain. If you stand, whatever
48:00you do for the next five months,
48:08force yourself to get in the
48:13word and surrender your life because
48:18I'm telling you what's about to
48:23hit us. Thank you, Holy Spirit.
48:29If you think COVID was bad,
48:34COVID was a preparation. Get under
48:39his. I am not sent here
48:44today to scare you. He who
48:50has an ear, let him hear
48:55what the Spirit of God is
49:00saying. Father, I've concluded
49:06my assignment. I did what you wanted me to
49:11do this morning. I joined with your people this
49:17morning to say we surrender everything to you. We
49:22open our hearts asking you to be Lord over
49:28our lives. We pull ourselves away from the crowd,
49:33the toxicity, and we place ourselves under your word
49:39that you will heal us from all the diseases,
49:44not just physical but mental. Emotional that you
49:50will help us so that when the storm
49:56comes it's not if when the prowler gained
50:02access by permission when he touched Job you
50:07gave him permission you went to him and
50:13you said have you considered my servant Job
50:19and he got excited because he that Job
50:25was only serving you because of how you
50:31blessed him So it is today
50:36many of us are just serving you going to
50:42church when we feel like Reading our Bible when
50:48we have time or when we're in trouble We're
50:54looking for scripture to prove to perform magic, but
51:00Joel was faithful You gave the devil permission to
51:06go to job Oh job experience a series of
51:12disaster touched his family his wealth his
51:18Even his physical body his partner said to him out of
51:24concern Might as well you just walk away from God but
51:29Job knew the importance of that covering Job was willing to
51:35say though he slay I don't care if I lose my
51:41job. I don't care if I lose my bank account I
51:47don't care if my family members start dying. I don't care
51:53if the devil hit me with a sickness That's not even
51:59in my bloodline though. He slay me Yet, I'm
52:05gonna trust God all my appointed time. I'm gonna wait
52:10till my change comes. So there are many of us
52:16in this room today as we join hands together saying,
52:21"We gonna wait on you God." Because some of us
52:27have been to the bottom and there's only one place
52:32to go. It's to the top. And we can't wait
52:38for the elevation. We can't wait to see what you're
52:43gonna unveil to the world of your goodness. towards us.
52:49Bless this congregation. Let them leave with this word. Let them never
52:55forget it. Let us all receive it, go home with it on
53:01our jobs this week knowing that you want us to get under
53:07your covering. Yes Lord, thank you. Thank you for their faithfulness and
53:13giving. Thank you for those who will obey. Thank you for those
53:18who will pray, stand with this church, volunteer and to do all
53:24that they need to do to take culture to the streets.
53:30Give us a wonderful week this week. I believe this message is
53:36covering someone from something the enemy planned this week. Help them to
53:42remember the demonstration for the rest of their lives. Lift your hands
53:48now everybody. And it's our benediction that we declare every service. We
53:53don't normally use the doxology that's normally many churches use it. They
53:59take it from the Bible. Nothing wrong with that. But
54:05this is the signature the DNA of this church. We
54:11are faith people and faith in God will move mountains
54:16Why? Because this church is under the pavilion the shelter
54:22of God we believe that Oh the enemy tried to
54:28destroy us, but when you're under the pavilion of God
54:33I promise you his covering will shield you. Lift hands
54:39and let's say it out loud faith in God
54:44We'll move mountains out of your life. God bless you. Have a wonderful
54:50day. We'll see you Wednesday. If you can make it back to the
54:56Jamaica event, their 64th anniversary of independence, please, 3 p.m. Thank you so
55:02much, visitors, those of you streaming. And remember, please, if you have not
55:08yet sown your seed, do so
55:12I believe God has
55:18prompted you to sow
55:24that special seed that
55:29we've asked for they'll
55:35put it on the
55:41screen you want to
55:46be a part of
55:52it God bless you
55:58have a great afternoon
56:06Wait
