7:10verse 8 and 9.

7:19scripture up on the screen Nehemiah
7:21chapter 6 verse 8. and I I want to read
7:25it off the screen
7:32of that one

7:37then I said to him
7:41saying no such thing
7:44as you say have been done
7:48for you are inventing them
7:51out of your own mind
7:55that's what the enemy will do is invent
7:59stuff out of his own mind to antagonize
8:02you to the point that you give up on
8:05what God gave you
8:07on what God spoke to you
8:11verse 9.
8:15for they all wanted to frighten us
8:19thinking their hands will drop from the
8:23work and it will not be done that's what
8:26the enemy wants you he wants to
8:27antagonize you frighten you give you
8:30fear give you doubt get you around
8:33people that will make you very question
8:35the very thing that God gives you
8:37just so watch this the enemy can't kill
8:40you watch this the enemy will frustrate
8:43you to the point that you kill your own
8:45self you'll kill your own dream you'll
8:47kill your own idea
8:51the enemy don't pull the trigger you do
8:53okay the enemy don't give up on your
8:55your plans you do
8:58so he'll frustrate you to the point
9:00watch this that their hands will drop
9:03from the work and it will not be done
9:06but now oh God this is what Nehemiah
9:08says but now I need somebody to stump
9:12your foot and say but now

9:17strengthen my hands
9:19for the next few moments I want to speak
9:21from this subject that's prophetic to
9:24somebody do it anyway

9:30about to receive that'll be nourishment
9:32for our bodies Our Minds our souls our
9:36Spirits in Jesus name we pray somebody

9:57in the year 170 at the night
10:00in his tent on the front lines of the
10:02war of Germania Marcus Aurelius the
10:05emperor of the Roman Empire sat down to
10:07right
10:09not to an audience or for a publication
10:12but to himself
10:13for himself and what he wrote is
10:16undoubtedly one of the histories one of
10:19history's most effective formulas for
10:22overcoming every negative situation we
10:25may encounter in life he wrote when
10:28people obstruct our proper tasks they
10:32become irrelevant to us
10:35like sun like wind or animals our
10:38actions may be impeded
10:41but there can be no impeding or the word
10:44impeding means to hinder our intentions
10:48or dispositions because we can
10:51accommodate and adapt
10:54the Mind adapts and converts to its own
10:58purposes the obstacle to our actions
11:02the impediment to action
11:05advances action what stands in the way
11:10becomes
11:13the way in other words what Marcus
11:16Aurelius is saying is uh he's suggesting
11:20that the thing that hinders us is the
11:24very thing that is going to empower us
11:27instead of the obstacle preventing us
11:31from doing something is actually
11:33presenting us with the opportunity to do
11:37something new
11:38and that anything and everything that
11:42happens to us is an opportunity
11:46so here's what I want to say to some of
11:48you under the sound of my voice that are
11:50facing some mental and emotional
11:53obstacles some Financial obstacles some
11:56things some barriers some things that
11:58are all in front of you right now be
12:00careful how you dis dismiss and
12:04disregard your obstacles because the
12:07obstacles are the gateways to the
12:10opportunities it is the very obstacle
12:14that comes in front of you it's the very
12:16situation and the scenario that you are
12:19confronted with that God uses can I just
12:22pause right here for some of y'all y'all
12:24y'all look very studious and educated
12:25some of y'all look like y'all are
12:27writing or have your phone out don't or
12:30if you figure out the lesson you can get
12:33the blessing
12:35oh God sometimes the blessing isn't the
12:38monetary thing but it's the mental thing
12:41to say listen I know good what listen
12:43you fooled me this time but I ain't
12:45gonna never fall for that trick again
12:47baby oh oh okay all right I'm gonna get
12:50in trouble right here uh uh because
12:52sometimes the blessing is to know who
12:55you need to deal with and who not to
12:57deal with y'all
13:04opportunities
13:06don't just knock in chaos but
13:09opportunities are created out of Chaos
13:13and here's the truth that we all came in
13:16here this morning to worship and to
13:18praise God but the truth is that the
13:20person that you are sitting beside is
13:23facing their own obstacles they have
13:25been praising God they've been lifting
13:27up the name of Jesus that's why you can
13:29never judge somebody by their praise
13:31don't judge me by my past don't judge me
13:34because you have no idea what I'm facing
13:37you don't know how hard it was just to
13:40get up out of bed to get my mind I got
13:43my clothes ready but I had to get my
13:45mind ready to come to the house of God
13:48because of all the hell that I've been
13:50through all the issues and the
13:52situations and the pressures that are on
13:54my life from the business from family
13:57from my spouse from my kids all the
13:59stuff that I'm trying to work through I
14:02need to be in the house of
14:06I need a word from God now you can go to
14:09the club and get your fix but there's
14:12somebody that says no no no I woke up
14:14this morning to get a word because all I
14:17need is one word to shift my life
14:20all I
14:23all I need is one word all I need is one
14:26thing oh it's like it's like the light
14:28switching on in your house where it's
14:31like the light all I need is just a
14:33light to come on to understand that all
14:35I've been through it's been worth it can
14:38I tell you that whatever you've been
14:40through it's been necessary for the
14:42promise for God to fulfill in your life
14:46nudge your neighbor say neighbor it's
14:47it's been necessary I know you don't
14:50like having to go to therapy over your
14:52last relationship but it was unnecessary
14:55cause guess what you would have
14:58[Applause]
15:01this ain't on my topic but can I pause
15:03right here to tell some single people in
15:06the room don't just don't be so
15:08desperate
15:13new divorces don't be so desperate
15:15because sometimes sometimes you will
15:19become vulnerable because you don't feel
15:21safe
15:24because everybody want to feel safe
15:25y'all get me ahead of my message but I
15:27got to go I gotta go but can I tell you
15:30don't make the mistake of marrying
15:32somebody that you really should have
15:34just mentored
15:40some of y'all waking up right now y'all
15:42just keep looking straight
15:44because the truth of the matter is some
15:47of you settled in some relationships and
15:50you're waking up every day dreading the
15:53very fact that you know what I should
15:55have did I should have just mentored you
15:57set up some counseling hours because
16:00where I am now you refuse to grow I need
16:03people in my life that's not just
16:06equally yoked when we get together but
16:08when I did 20 years in this state we
16:11still yoke together cause you didn't
16:13stop growing

16:17touch your neighbor say neighbor don't
16:18stop growing don't stop growing
16:30Nehemiah is a book of obstacles somebody
16:37say Nehemiah
16:38is a book
16:40of obstacles
16:42God has placed some obstacles in Nils
16:46Maya's life because of what God had
16:52intended to reveal that's the only
16:54reason why God allows you to go through
16:57some adversities because there are some
17:00things that he's trying to get you to
17:03see about yourself about him about the
17:06people around you he does not want you
17:09to give up on yourself but he wants you
17:12fully persuaded that neither life nor
17:14death things all being present all
17:17things hidden nothing will separate you
17:20watch this from his love watch This I
17:22Gotta paraphrase it because here's most
17:25of the time we separate ourselves from
17:26God but God has never separated himself
17:29from us
17:30okay all right uh I don't have time to
17:33go in it I don't have time to go in but
17:35here's the thing
17:37that the Bible says here's obstacle
17:39number one I gotta give you this I'm
17:42running out of time
17:43somebody text the bishop and ask them
17:45for two more minutes no I'm just kidding
17:46okay Nehemiah chapter one says
17:50that the remnant in the province is
17:53Nehemiah is a cup Bearer his his he is
17:57displaced from Jerusalem and they've
18:00been uh he he is a servant in another
18:04King's house he's been separated from
18:06his homeland and his brothers come back
18:09and say listen those that have survived
18:12the Exile watch this we all put it up on
18:15the screen he'll Rob back yeah there you
18:17go and
18:19I got to get used to y'all I gotta get
18:21used to y'all you know he says the walls
18:24of Jerusalem
18:26are broken down he says those who have
18:29survived the Exile is they are in great
18:32trouble here's the indication and shame
18:35okay they're they're in what they're in
18:38what trouble
18:39and they are what in shame and it also
18:43says the wall of Jerusalem is broken
18:45down and its gates are destroyed by fire
18:49okay here's this so we got a wall we
18:52have a wall That's torn down
18:56and we have if you put trouble and you
18:59put shame together you have their worth
19:01is torn down so we have a wall and we
19:04have worth somebody say a wall
19:07and we have their worth
19:09and the reason why they can't rebuild
19:11the wall
19:13is because they haven't rebuilt their
19:15worth
19:19are y'all with me see because shame is
19:23destructive
19:25it will make you feel unworthy it will
19:28make you feel rejected it will make you
19:31live in regret and condemnation
19:35uh
19:36condemnation and shame
19:40won't allow you to forgive yourself
19:44oh
19:46and it will [ __ ] you from ever
19:49receiving forgiveness from other people
19:53so shame shakes our identity it can
19:56[ __ ] Us in believing in ourselves and
19:58watch this it turns self-love into
20:01self-doubt self-doubt into self-hatred
20:05self-hatred turns into self-abuse
20:08which becomes a toxic pathology and when
20:11you don't believe in yourself you can't
20:13do better for yourself
20:18ah
20:21and so now Nehemiah
20:24he has an obstacle the wall and the city
20:28are in ruined and he doesn't know how to
20:30fix the wall
20:32and he doesn't know how to fix their
20:34worth
20:36he can't fix the wall he's not a civil
20:39engineer he's not an architect he's not
20:42a licensed contractor he doesn't own a
20:44cement company he doesn't know the first
20:47thing
20:48about rebuilding the wall
20:50he can't fix their worth
20:52that's attached to their shame
20:55why because he's not a life coach like
20:57you
20:59he's not a psychologist he's not a
21:01pastor he's not a psychiatrist he's not
21:04a social worker he's not a therapist he
21:06doesn't know how to fix a wall and he
21:08doesn't know how to fix people
21:12but Nehemiah even though he's not a
21:15civil engineer
21:16even though he's not a psychologist
21:19he still does something anyway
21:22and the thing that Nehemiah does
21:25is found in the text
21:27the Bible says and Nehemiah
21:30prayed
21:33when you can't fix the stuff around you
21:39the first thing seems like the last
21:43thing you should do is that you should
21:46begin to what pray do I have any prayer
21:49warriors in the building why why why why
21:52why watch this watch this he he decides
21:56even though he's not an architect even
21:58though he's not an engineer even though
21:59he's not these things you know what he
22:01decides to do he be he begins to lift
22:04his voice to the to the Chief Architect
22:07of Architects to the engineer of
22:10engineer the one who created the heavens
22:12and the Earth the wonderful counselor
22:14the Prince of Peace the King of Kings
22:16the Lord of lords the one that flung The
22:18Stars in the Sky the one that told them
22:20the sun to shine he he begins to call on
22:24the one that created it all isn't it
22:27wonderful to know that you have a
22:29connection with the one that created the
22:32it all even though you can't fix it in
22:34front of you you have a connection with
22:37the one that can fix it all you have the
22:39one oh you have a connection with the
22:42one
22:44who has the capability and the power to
22:46do anything but fail
22:51here's the truth about some of y'all
22:54I ain't your pastor I'm just visiting
22:58some of y'all can't afford not to pray
23:06I'm a shot see they ain't shouting now
23:08some of you are going through too much
23:11right now you you are frustrated you are
23:14agitated you when I get agitated I know
23:17it's time to pray when I get frustrated
23:19with everybody around me I don't stop
23:20and pray I know I need to just open
23:22myself some of you cannot for all the
23:25stuff that is happening in your life for
23:27all the things that keep attacking your
23:29life you cannot afford to just wake up
23:32in the morning and go about your day not
23:35acknowledging God every single day you
23:38need to pray and seek listen you can
23:40think I'm spooky I'm spiritual I'm too
23:43much for you that's fine you can do what
23:46you want to do but when the enemy comes
23:48in like a flood my God says he don't
23:50lift up a standard now you can stay down
23:52wherever you are and you can try to
23:55criticize where I am but you don't know
23:57but prayer birth me to the place that I
24:00am I'm a preacher today because somebody
24:03prayed for me I
24:06do I have any prayer warriors in the
24:09house
24:09[Applause]
24:11Nehemiah begin to pray can I tell you
24:13that the period of time okay I got to
24:15give you this
24:17oh
24:19okay Nehemiah chapter one
24:23to Nehemiah chapter 2.
24:26is a period of five months when he heard
24:30the news about what was happening
24:32and the time he met with the King was a
24:35period of five months
24:36now we only see in Nehemiah chapter one
24:39that he lifts up a prayer
24:43but the truth about it is that he's been
24:46praying for five months
24:48some of you don't see your promise come
24:50to pass in the in two days and you
24:55I ain't praying no more because God he
25:02but Nehemiah has been praying for five
25:07months
25:09he has been serving
25:14carrying this burden of something that
25:16he cannot fix
25:18for five months
25:22and I just believe
25:25is that prayer
25:28is the place
25:30where God downloads the details
25:35that what you can't figure out
25:39God will begin to show you stuff oh I
25:43see that the king does this when someone
25:46needs something I see he gets his seal
25:49when somebody acts comes before him he's
25:52the cup Bearer to the king so everybody
25:54who comes to the king he sees how they
25:57interact with the King he's sitting on
26:01all of this information of what he he's
26:03carrying a burden for five months can I
26:06tell you that the reason why some of you
26:09hasn't haven't seen the Fulfillment of
26:13what you believe God has promised you is
26:16it because God hasn't blessed you you
26:19just talked too much
26:21you can't sit on nothing long enough for
26:26the details to come to pass you talk too
26:30much you post too much stuff on social
26:32media stop posting
26:38some of you are bringing unnecessary
26:41attacks and rumors and lies cause you
26:45want to post everything you post your
26:47shoes you post your shopping bag you
26:50posting your car you posting everything
26:53and the moment somebody posts something
26:55on social media that you don't like now
26:58you gotta go to the club and get a drink
27:00cause you got all these haters
27:03you got one bad comment which is
27:06probably somebody who's a troll and now
27:08you
27:15but he sits on it for five months he's
27:18praying for five months his prayer wheel
27:20is turning he's something developing
27:23inside of him there's something that
27:25prayer would do for you men there's
27:27something that prayer would do for you
27:29men I gotta talk to the men I feel a
27:31burden to talk to the men in the house
27:33there's something stop just letting your
27:35wife pray but you better learn how to
27:37pray and seek God you better get a
27:39Heavenly language you better get
27:41baptized in the Holy Ghost you better
27:43let God fill you with the Holy Ghost you
27:45better let God fill you with the Holy
27:47Ghost I feel Revival in here I said you
27:49better let God fill you with the Holy
27:51Ghost don't don't keep saying my wife
27:53did she just spiritual no she's trying
27:55to awaken your spirituality no I don't
27:58do Church like that you ain't got to do
28:00Church like that but when the enemy
28:02tries to come against you I know one
28:04thing you need to have some power with
28:06God
28:07do I have any meaning here that say I
28:10got power with God I got a prayer life I
28:13know how to seek God I know how to seek
28:15his face I know how to get out of myself
28:17and fall on my knees and pray before the
28:20Lord
28:22nehemiah's praying Nehemiah is praying
28:25nehemiah's prayer nehemiah's prayer and
28:28the reason why Nehemiah can't share
28:32this with everybody
28:34and let me tell you why your dreams and
28:37your ideas your plans your thoughts
28:42even your new love interests you can't
28:45share with everybody yet
28:55because it's it's too precious
28:59so I had to keep it private
29:03y'all didn't hear me I said it's too
29:05precious
29:07my promise is too precious
29:09I had to keep it private
29:12do I have any people that ain't sharing
29:14everything but gonna say Lord whatever
29:17you do you just reveal it I'm just gonna
29:20walk this path out and I want you to
29:22show what you want to do and what you
29:25want to bring to best oh I got to go I
29:26gotta go I gotta go can I can I can I
29:29just uh let me just say this
29:31so now he gets before the King five
29:34months later
29:35and the Bible says he gets before the
29:36king
29:38and the King looks at him
29:42and he doesn't look like himself
29:45and the King says to him what's what's
29:47what's what's what's wrong with you now
29:49y'all must understand that if you are a
29:52cup Bearer or serving in the presence of
29:53the king a negative attitude
29:57is punishable by Death
30:00because only the people that had a
30:02negative attitude will be someone who's
30:05trying to put poison in the Kings at
30:07this time their drink or trying to do
30:09harm to the king so if you had a if you
30:12came to work with a negative attitude
30:14you didn't just get fired
30:19we're gonna have your funeral next we
30:21got to face him

30:39and the King says
30:43I noticed Nehemiah can't fix
30:47he can't fix it
30:48he can't fix the wall he can't fix their
30:51worth
30:52but he gets before the king in Nehemiah
30:55chapter 2
30:57and the King says what's wrong with you
31:00son he says it's hard for me to serve
31:05you
31:06knowing that my people
31:09are in such ruin
31:12the walls are torn down the gates are
31:14torn down
31:15and the people are in so much trouble
31:17and ashamed
31:19and the King says something
31:22really powerful judge
31:25says
31:27how can I help you
31:31okay y'all gonna miss that I said the
31:34king
31:35here's his request
31:37and says young man how
31:41can I help you you know what I'm glad
31:44you asked that
31:46and I came to prophesy to somebody that
31:49you are walking in a season that the
31:51king is trying to get your attention to
31:55say hey I'm over here I need somebody to
31:57ask me
31:59I need you to tell me what you need the
32:03king is looking in your house and say I
32:05don't hear no noise I I don't hear no
32:06requests all I hear is a bunch of
32:08bickering all I hear is a bunch of uh
32:10yeah and uh uh is there anybody what do
32:14you need
32:15I said the king says what do you need
32:21can I tell you that God is about to put
32:24some connections in your life that's
32:26just gonna ask you one question what do
32:28you need what do you need to get it off
32:31the ground what do you need to expand
32:33that store what do you need to get out
32:36of this area what do you need what type
32:38of resources do you need to expand where
32:40you're going what do you need I prophesy
32:43there's an investor about to hit your
32:46life that's gonna say what do you need
32:48in order to do what is in your spirit
32:51what do I need somebody to shout out
32:54what do you need what do you need what
32:56do you need
32:58and as a matter of fact God has blessed
33:00some of you so crazy ridiculous that God
33:03is about to give you a certain level of
33:06authority that you can operate like the
33:08king and look at other people and say
33:10listen I'm not just here by myself but
33:13there's some other people that I want to
33:14bless there's some other stuff that my
33:16authority my influence can help you get
33:18to where you need to be yeah I know I
33:20know you didn't ask for a hand up but
33:22guess what I'm giving you a hand now why
33:25because I've been right where you've
33:26been do I have anybody is here that says
