0:13convinced I know I'm new school but I
0:16grew up old school and the psalmist says
0:19great is the Lord and worthy to be
0:21praised so to me that means if you think
0:24you serve an average God you will give
0:26him an average praise if you think you
0:29serve an iight God you will give him a
0:32iight praise but is there anybody under
0:34the sound of my voice at Faith Center
0:37that believes you serve a Victorious God
0:40a redeeming God a way making God a
0:44saving God a mighty God a redeeming God
0:49a way out of no way God a Grace filled
0:53God a merciful god a strong

1:05the praise I'm so excited to be here in
1:08Fort Lauderdale
1:11Florida I feel like I'm at home because
1:14you know Houston and Florida we got like
1:15the same type of humidity um I I'm just
1:19excited and I am in high expectation of
1:22what God is going to do uh I I really
1:26want to get to work but before we get
1:29started could you at at least high five
1:30two people and tell them something is
1:32going to
1:34happen yes something is going to happen

1:54inappropriate of me to stand here in
1:58this beauti beautiful assembly of God's
2:01people and not give honor to where honor
2:05is due can I get everybody to Make Some

2:13Bishop thank you so much for having me
2:16I'm truly
2:17honored I don't take it lightly that you
2:20would trust me uh to
2:23speak to God's people and I'm honored to
2:26be here uh my name is Jerry flowers I
2:29live in Houston in Texas it's where I
2:31was born and raised on the playground is
2:33where I spend most of my
2:36days um but I am a young man who once
2:41Jesus has snatched me I never been the
2:44same and my mindset is if I can go hard
2:49for the
2:50world not care what people think about
2:54me if I can go to the club in college
2:57and not care if it's raining if it's
3:00cold that I have class in the morning
3:03how much more now that I'm saved
3:05redeemed Blood Bought anointed and
3:09appointed so this is your only
3:12disclaimer I get passionate when I talk
3:14about
3:15Jesus um I sweat when I talk about
3:19Jesus I give it all I have I preach
3:21every sermon like it's my last because
3:23one day it will be and I don't know when
3:25that day is so I'm going give everything
3:28that I have um because this word that
3:31that has been brewing in my spirit I
3:33really believe is a now
3:36word it's spicy meaning it's going to
3:40come for your
3:41edges your big toe your lace front all
3:44of
3:46it um and and one of the things I'm so
3:49passionate about when it comes to
3:50speaking truth is in America especially
3:53Western Hemisphere Christianity we have
3:56a sweet
3:58tooth it's almost as as if we like
4:00sugarcoated
4:01sermons and then we wonder why we have
4:04spiritual
4:06cavities we been sugar so much that when
4:09we get a sermon that has salt in it it
4:11tastes like judgment well this sermon is
4:13going to be salty this seron is going to
4:16be sound it's going to be
4:18biblical and I just hope you're ready
4:20are y'all ready for
4:21this before we get started I just want
4:24to tell you what I feel my assignment is
4:26like one of my favorite card games is
4:28uno every everybody who likes Blackjack
4:30Spades goldfish you can keep that my
4:33game is
4:34uno when we are playing Uno you are my
4:39enemy I am determined to beat you at
4:43this one particular time my beautiful
4:45daughter she was seven at the time she
4:46went and looked at my sister's hand and
4:49then she came back and she looked at my
4:52hand and then she went and looked at my
4:55sister's hand and then looked at my hand
4:59and then my my sister put down a red
5:01card and she was like why didn't you put
5:03down the green draw
5:05too and she was like baby you're not
5:08supposed to do that now he knows my
5:10hand this sermon is going to reveal the
5:14devil's
5:15[Applause]
5:17hand it's going to reveal an area that
5:21most of us has slept on where the enemy
5:24is
5:25defeating stealing killing and
5:27destroying stuff and many of us haven't
5:30even recognized it we're going to expose
5:33the hand of the enemy cuz the hand of
5:36God is already on you and there's
5:39nothing that the devil can do and I
5:42understand now the devil's like okay if
5:44I can't get God to change the way that
5:47he views them maybe I can get them to
5:52change the way that they view
5:55him so we're going to expose the devil's
5:57hand on today I have several past
5:59passages of scripture that we're going
6:00to go to but let's pray God thank you
6:03for this moment thank you for this time
6:05thank you for the gift of life allowing
6:08us to see a new day a day that we never
6:10saw before and a day that we'll never
6:12see again I thank you God that a dog
6:15didn't wake us up an alarm clock didn't
6:17wake us up Grace woke us up this morning
6:20so for that and that alone we are
6:23grateful that we are in the land of the
6:25living and God just like I prayed in
6:27private I also declared in public anoint
6:30me as your Oracle the soundtrack the PA
6:32system of Heaven none of this matters if
6:35they see flesh but they don't see
6:38you and I pray God that you invade our
6:41atmosphere throughout this time so that
6:44we could hear what the holy spirit is
6:46trying to get us to understand in Jesus
6:48name we pray and everybody who greets
6:50that prayer all over the building and
6:52online in all CS can you say amen amen
6:56so I want to get to work I could not
6:57compact this to one foundational text so
7:00I have four passages of scripture that
7:03are all going to connect if you don't
7:05have a tangible Bible it'll be projected
7:07for you on the screen Psalms
7:1057 verse two is where we're going to
7:13launch our reading if you're ready shout
7:15I'm
7:16ready Psalms 57:2 the psalmist says I
7:21cry out to God most high to God who
7:27fulfills his purpose for me somebody say
7:31purpose purpose now Ecclesiastes 7:1 17
7:35says do not be overly Wicked nor be
7:40foolish why should you die before your
7:44time somebody say time now Ecclesiastes
7:493:10 says I have
7:51seen the God given task with which the
7:57sons of men are to to be occupied
8:00somebody say occupied occupied so so far
8:03we have purpose we have time and we have
8:07occupy okay we're going somewhere then
8:10our last foundational text Jesus tells
8:12us in John
8:141010 the
8:16thief comes to
8:19steal kill and destroy I love a
8:22biblically educated church but then he
8:25says I got some good news I have
8:28come I came so that you might have life
8:33and have it more abundantly somebody say
8:37abundantly so let's marry these passages
8:39of scripture okay so first in Psalms 57
8:43the psalmist is saying there is a
8:45purpose that God desires to fulfill in
8:49you the reason that you still have
8:51oxygen in your lungs right now why your
8:54cardiac activity is still operational is
8:57because you have a purpose
9:00but then he says okay hold on
9:02ecclesiastics
9:047:17 don't be overly Wicked don't be
9:09foolish why must you
9:12die before your time and other words
9:15don't make foolish
9:18decisions that can cause for you to
9:20experience premature
9:22death don't make choices that will
9:26assist the enemy on killing stealing
9:29destroying something from your life
9:31because truth be told for many of us the
9:34devil doesn't have to bother us kill Ste
9:36or destroy anything our routines do
9:42that don't be foolish or overly Wicked
9:45why must you die before your time and
9:47then Ecclesiastes 3:1 says I have
9:51seen a God given task with which the
9:56sons of men are to be
9:59occupied what does that mean there's
10:02something that you're supposed to be
10:04occupied doing while you are still here
10:08in time here come your edges the problem
10:11is we're occupied with everything
10:15else except our god-given task we're
10:20occupied with Hulu we're occupied with
10:22Netflix we're occupied with porn we're
10:25occupied with sports center I'm not
10:27sorry my generation we requires real
10:30we're occupied with everything else
10:32except our god-given
10:38task can't finish a Bible reading plan
10:41but can finish a whole Netflix
10:44series I told you it's going to be
10:47spicy care about your team and get upset
10:50if they throw interceptions but we're
10:52throwing interceptions in real
10:56life occupy while we're in time then
10:59Jesus
11:01says that
11:03Thief he comes to kill steal and
11:08destroy but I came so that you might
11:12have life and life more abundantly see
11:16here's the thing when you understand
11:18what you're supposed to be occupied with
11:21dis distractions become
11:25clear like friends invited me who came
11:28in town
11:29they said we're going to Top Golf Jerry
11:31Saturday do you want to go with us
11:35no I'm not being mean I'm being
11:39called I have to preach tomorrow and
11:43edify the people that God has given me
11:45stewardship over to serve because I wash
11:47feet for a living so my know to you is
11:50clear it's easy to identify what a
11:53distraction is when you're occupied with
11:55purpose maybe the reason we keep
11:57entertaining distraction and
11:59counterfeits and life records is because
12:02you're not
12:03occupied with
12:06purpose with
12:10purpose so decisions hear me
12:14decisions create
12:17conditions can I go a little
12:19deeper so a decision reap a
12:25condition okay what is free will Free
12:29Will is God giving you the freedom to
12:30decide what conditions you want to
12:32experience on
12:35tomorrow cuz
12:37decisions create conditions and so as
12:41I'm I'm looking at this text I'm
12:43starting to understand man decisions are
12:48pregnant decisions are pregnant with the
12:51potential to give birth to a
12:53season talk Holy
12:55Spirit decisions are pregnant each and
12:59every day of our life
13:01chaos and wisdom show up at the doorpost
13:04of our life in the form of
13:06choices when you're born you look like
13:08your parents when you die you look like
13:10your
13:11choices
13:13decisions I told you it's going to be
13:15spicy decisions are pregnant with the
13:19potential to give birth to a season but
13:22wisdom helps you skip unnecessary
13:25seasons and I can't speak for anybody
13:27else at Faith Center maybe besides
13:29myself but if I'm going to experience
13:32pain I want the pain to serve some
13:34purpose if I'm going to experience
13:36trials I want the trials to have some
13:38purpose I don't want to experience pain
13:40that I
13:42caused I came all the way from Houston
13:45Texas to try to help us get some wisdom
13:49in the area of our time
13:52management and in the area of decision
13:56making so back home when I've been
13:59trying to get our local church to
14:01understand is the greatest weapon of
14:04spiritual mass destruction right now is
14:06a
14:08mic everybody has a
14:11podcast everybody saying thus sayeth the
14:14Lord everybody has a word and so I'm
14:17recognizing what one of the strategies
14:19of the enemy is let me amplify the
14:21volume of spiritual trash and make it
14:24popular as though popular means
14:27right
14:30the weapon of mass destruction right now
14:33is a microphone let me amplify heresy
14:37and then make it popular so people can
14:40think it's
14:42right this is the methodology of the
14:45enemy he deceives through
14:50discussions he deceives through
14:53discussions which will hopefully
14:55contaminate our decisions because once
14:58it contaminates our decisions will end
15:01up wasting our
15:03time it's a demonic math equation want
15:06y'all to see this chart it's a demonic
15:08math equation this is what I believe the
15:10methodology of hell is first thing he
15:13wants to do is add a
15:15voice remember demonic math equation
15:18somebody say demonic math
15:20equation he wants to add a voice so that
15:23he could subtract
15:26Clarity which will multiply confusion
15:30which causes for there to be a division
15:32between your will and the will of the
15:33Holy Spirit which equals
15:36uncertainty is this God is this me is
15:39this the devil is this the holy spirit
15:40is this my flesh or is this me he adds a
15:45voice demonic math equation this is
15:48Bible all day how did Sin come into the
15:51world it was that old serpent having a
15:55discussion with Eve to hopefully
15:59contaminate her
16:02decision which could cause for
16:04her and cause for all of humanity to
16:09suffer because we don't understand that
16:13decisions are
16:15pregnant I I want to speak around this
16:17thought from this subject it's about
16:22time could you find two people and just
16:24tell them it's about
16:26time it's about time it's about time
16:29it's about time see this is prophetic
16:32for somebody because the holy spirit is
16:34like yep it's about time that you start
16:35praying mhm yep it's about time for you
16:38to start seeking my face it's about time
16:40for you to break up with that person no
16:41that's not my will for your life because
16:43I'm never going to sing you somebody who
16:45takes you further away from me it's
16:47about time it's about time and then on
16:49the other side the enemy is trying to
16:53steal kill and destroy a specific area
16:57that I think we overlook look and it's
16:59our
17:01time it's about
17:03time it's about time if if I could get
17:08them to entertain what God didn't
17:13send see some of us don't even recognize
17:16we're asking God to bless what hell
17:20sent this was my mic I'll throw it but I
17:22don't want to get in trouble with
17:23Bishop we're asking God to bless what
17:26hell sent the reason the enemy sends
17:31counterfeits not just in people but in
17:34Opportunities is because he's trying to
17:36steal your time he's trying to destroy
17:40your time he's trying to kill your
17:46time so that you live your whole life
17:50declaring a Biblical principle that you
17:53never
17:54experienced this is one of my personal
17:56prayers God I never want to be a man
18:00that's great at delivering the word but
18:03poor at the word delivering
18:07me it's about time can I get us to say
18:11this confession you don't have the right
18:13to remain silent can I get us to say
18:14this confession father father help me
18:18help me to remove anything to remove
18:21anything in my life in my life that's
18:24assisting me that's assisting me in
18:26wasting time in wasting
18:29one more time father father help me to
18:31remove help me to remove anything
18:34anything in my life in my life that's
18:37assisting me that's assisting me in
18:39wasting time in wasting
18:43time
18:46yeah it's
18:47about
18:50time ladies and gentlemen brothers and
18:52sisters I want to bring your attention
18:55and your awareness to this profound
18:58Revelation that the Holy Spirit put in
19:00my heart as I was engaged in sermon prep
19:03and that is the first decree of the
19:08Kingdom the first ordinance of the
19:11Kingdom for the Earth revolved around
19:17timing the first one we see this to be
19:21true in Genesis 1: 3 and 4 when God said
19:25let there be light greater Lights by day
19:30and lesser Lights by night we know this
19:33to be the sun and the moon and the stars
19:35so watch this there's a time for the sun
19:39to be on the scene and there's a time
19:42for the moon to be on the scene the
19:45distinction between these two is how we
19:48get day and night and night and day and
19:51the first day and the second day the
19:54first establishment of the Kingdom for
19:57the Earth revolved around
20:01timing timing can we keep going God
20:06created on the first day he stepped back
20:10looked at it evaluated it and said it's
20:14good then God created on the second day
20:20he stepped back he looked at it looked
20:23at it evaluated it and said it is good
20:27this showed me something in the creation
20:29narrative that changed my life and it
20:32caused for me to be more patient with me
20:33y'all want to know what it is y'all
20:36don't I'm going go on this side y'all
20:37want to know what it is okay I'm going
20:39preach over
20:41here these seven words in Genesis
20:44chapter 1 at the end of Verse 18 changed
20:48Jerry's life and God saw that it was
20:54good I want you to notice God heart
20:58posture as he builds and God saw that it
21:05was good somebody's like okay what's so
21:08profound about that I I'm you lost me
21:11Pastor God is able to see something
21:15that's not done and still call it
21:19[Music]
21:20good this made me a better husband
21:23father son he's able to look at
21:26something incomplete
21:29and still call it good he's able to look
21:31at something that still needs work and
21:34still call it good he's able to look at
21:37something that still needs maturing and
21:40still call it good Bishop we got to do a
21:42relationship conference because right
21:44now my generation wants high value men
21:47we want people who arrive but we don't
21:49like
21:51process but here's the thing God does
21:53not microwave he crockpots he takes his
21:57time I want the character to set in I
21:59want the Integrity to set in I want the
22:02discipline to set in I want the honesty
22:04to set
22:09in he looked at
22:12it and
22:14said it's
22:17good so here's the quintessential
22:21question on the
22:22floor are you able to look at
22:26something that still needs
22:30work let's make it personal are you able
22:33to look at yourself in the
22:35mirror you're not there yet you still
22:38need work but you're still able to say
22:41I'm blessed and highly
22:43favored I'm blessed in my going I'm
22:46blessed in my coming I'm blessed in the
22:49seal City I'm blessed in the field why
22:52does it say City and field because it's
22:54showing you the blessing is not in your
22:55location the blessing is on your life

23:06can you see the good and something that
23:09still needs work it's
23:11Godlike for you to see something that's
23:13not
23:14done and still see the good I'm trying
23:17to help all of my perfectionists in the
23:19room I'm trying to help all the
23:22individuals who feel as though they're
23:24not enough you're not good enough you're
23:26not smart enough you're not pretty
23:28enough you're not young enough you're
23:29not old enough you're not educated
23:31enough you're not churched enough you're
23:33not saved enough that's the original lie
23:35of the
23:37enemy what did he tell Eve you won't
23:41surely die for God knows if you eat this
23:45fruit you will be like him knowing the
23:48good and the evil what is he telling Eve
23:51you're not
23:55enough you're you're not enough and I
23:58believe many of us have Eve type
24:01Tendencies so we end up biting a
24:04forbidden
24:05fruit extended to our friends because
24:07friends extend their
24:13diet just to recognize this didn't
24:16fulfill me it didn't give me peace it
24:18didn't give me joy in fact it took me
24:20further away from the
24:22one that gives me joy and true
24:26fulfillment
24:28deceives through discussions to
24:32contaminate
24:33decisions we see it in the first book of
24:38the
24:39Bible timing and that enemy trying to do
24:43something to interrupt our time but
24:47Jesus came I feel this all in my spirit
24:49I'm trying to teach y'all but Mr preach
24:50keep rising
24:52up he say I came so that you might have
24:56life and life more abundantly see that
24:59old serpent he likes to
25:01twist he likes to twist scripture I want
25:04to show you where he tried to do it on
25:06Jesus can I show y'all this Matthew
25:08chapter 4 verse 5 it says then the devil
25:13took him up that's a whole sermon the
25:15devil took him up so the elevation was
25:18satanic don't have time to bother it the
25:20devil took him up into the holy city set
25:24him high on the Pinnacle of the temple
25:27and set him if you are the Son of
25:30God identity throw yourself down for it
25:35is written he shall give his angels
25:38charge over you and in their hands they
25:40shall bear you up lest you dash your
25:43foot against the stone right here we see
25:47the devil quoting the Bible to
25:54Jesus right here we see the devil
25:56quoting the word to the word
26:00somebody got
26:01it but being the student of scripture
26:04that I am I decided to look up what
26:06scripture was Satan quoting is Psalms
26:1091: 11 and 12 I want you to see it it
26:14says for he shall give his angels charge
26:16over you to keep you in all your ways in
26:19their hand they shall bear you up lest
26:22you dash your foot against the stone the
26:24devil is quoting the Psalms and you tell
26:27telling me you impressed because he can
26:29quotee
26:31scripture you telling me you impressed
26:34because she can quote scripture and she
26:36has God in her Bio God in her bio
26:38doesn't mean God in her
26:40[Applause]
26:43life but anyway that's not even my
26:46point so I just was
26:48wondering why did the devil quote Psalms
26:5191 verse 11- 12 why did he keep
26:54reading and so I just decided what does
26:56verse 13 say
26:59verse 13 says you shall you shall tread
27:03upon the lion and the
27:05Cobra the Young Lion and the serpent you
27:10shall trample
27:15underfoot the devil stopped out stopped
27:19on the part that spoke about
27:24him because he's not a lion he's like a
27:28roaring lion seeking who he could devour
27:31Jesus is the lion out of the tribe of
27:34Judah and he crushes the head of the
27:37serpent and so I begin to think oh man
27:40the devil knows the Bible so if the
27:43devil knows the Bible this means he
27:46knows that he's a defeated foe if the
27:48devil knows the Bible this means he
27:51knows that we have been given the power
27:53to tread on serpents and scorpions and
27:56over all the works of the enemy and
27:59nothing shall by any means harm you the
28:01devil knows the Bible he just doesn't
28:03want you to know
28:05it because you know that's what good
28:07haters do right good haters leave out
28:09the rest of the story like if you go bad
28:12mouth mean why did you leave the part
28:13out when I paid your rent if you going
28:15to badmouth me why'd you leave the part
28:17out when I took you to lunch if you bad
28:19mouth tell the whole story but it's
28:21devil like to leave out the good
28:26parts

28:29so he says I came so that you might have
28:32life and life more abundantly Abundant
28:36Life That's that life when you know who
28:39you are and whose you are Abundant Life
28:42Abundant Life That's when you're walking
28:44around in your right mind and you know
28:46that heaven is for you but hell is
28:48fighting you Abundant Life Abundant Life
28:51is when you understand that yay even
28:53though I walk through the valley of the
28:55shadow of death I will fear no evil for
28:58thou art with me thy rod and thy staff
29:01they comfort me Abundant Life it's when
29:03you understand no
29:06weapon no weapon formed against me shall
29:10prosper what we have to do though is
29:13make sure we're not making decisions and
29:15having poor time management so that
29:17we're the weapon formed against
29:19ourselves that's making ourself not
29:22Prosper Abundant Life Abundant Life is
29:26when through your prayer and fasting you
29:28can tell these kind to come out because
29:30Jesus told us there's a certain level of
29:33spiritual warfare that they only release
29:35a person if you have a life of prayer
29:38and fasting so when you live a life of
29:40prayer and fasting you have another
29:42level of Spiritual Authority you have
29:44another level of a spiritual Grace
29:47somebody say Abundant Life Abundant Life
29:49Abundant Life is when your prayers make
29:51bullets miss your
29:54children yeah Abundant Life is when you
29:57make bullets go another Direction
29:59because death must respect my purpose
30:02every time I get on an aircraft I say
30:04everybody on the plane is safe because
30:06I'm on it because death must respect my
30:09purpose Abundant Life is when through
30:12your prayer you caused doors to be
30:14unlocked that hell thought he had bolted
30:17Abundant Life Abundant Life is when you
30:19start to confuse the enemy how are they
30:22still praising after they got laid off
30:24I'm confused how didn't that divorce
30:26take them out I'm confused how didn't
30:29that betrayal take them out I'm confused
30:31how didn't that backstabbing friend take
30:33them out I'm confused how did that
30:36rejection take them out I'm confused how
30:38are those rumors not distracting her she
30:41know that she's sensitive I'm confused
30:43how was he not sleeping with that woman
30:45in college I had him but now he's
30:47practicing Purity and having
30:49self-control I sent the spirit of
30:51Delilah his way because the spirit of
30:53Delilah prays on strong
30:56men
30:58how is he resisting that I'm confused
31:00how are they still worshiping I'm
31:02confused they got laid off but they're
31:05still coming to church and praising God
31:07I'm confused how are they still
31:08worshiping after a negative doctor
31:10support I'm confused how are they still
31:13thanking God and they didn't get the
31:14position I'm confused it's because I've
31:17arrived to this place I thank God for
31:19open doors and I thank God for closed
31:22doors I thank God when he says yes and I
31:24thank God when he says no I thank God
31:27when I'm in hallways and I thank God
31:29when I'm in rooms I thank God when he's
31:31before me and I thank God when he has my
31:33back I'm not praising God because of my
31:35situation I'm praising him because of
31:37who he is
31:41period I think at Faith Center we need
