2:12colossians chapter 2 colossians chapter

2:18and we are going to talk about

2:22paul's writings on the

2:26issue you know of we being made alive

2:31in christ jesus that for

2:34all of us who are believers you know

2:37we are god's selected people on the

2:41earth

2:42not that we're better off than anybody

2:44but the bible tells us if any man be

2:46in christ he's a new creature

2:50so if you turn your life over to jesus

2:53christ

2:53you've become a new creature you're now

2:56born into the kingdom of god

2:58and that makes you god's child god's man

3:02god's woman and in a culture now

3:06where the church has been the reputation

3:10let's put it that way

3:11the reputation of the church has been

3:13damaged

3:14because of some um

3:18you know irresponsible behavior of some

3:20people especially during the election

3:23um they have cost the church

3:26to be scrutinized in a way that i think

3:30is just

3:30unjust because they're they're pretty

3:33much putting all of us

3:34who call them the name of jesus in a

3:37sense

3:38as you know one when we're not

3:41so when you are made alive in christ

3:44jesus

3:45i'm telling you there's something

3:47different about you

3:49right there's something different about

3:51you and let's be honest

3:53the life of christ and what we read

3:56about the characteristics of christ in

3:59the bible

4:02is completely opposite to what we see

4:05some believers

4:06are portraying uh today so let's get

4:09into the word of god

4:12colossians 2 let's begin at verse

4:166 here okay paul

4:19says as you therefore

4:22have received christ jesus the lord

4:26so walk in him

4:29did you get that this is very important

4:32now

4:32i love this setting i love it that it's

4:35different

4:36let's take off our religious

4:40hat and clothes if you will for a moment

4:43and let's

4:43focus on the naked word of god paul says

4:47here

4:48as you therefore have received christ

4:50jesus the lord

4:52we have received him we have received

4:55him because the day

4:56you decided that you're going to turn

4:58your life over to christ

5:00you have received him as the ruler

5:05of your life and for a moment i really

5:08want to talk to

5:09us people of faith we have declared that

5:13jesus christ

5:15is ruler of our life

5:18now paul says so walk in him

5:22what is he really saying walk in

5:25him he's actually saying walk in the

5:28characteristics of christ

5:31that that your attributes your behavior

5:36your pattern should be a replica

5:39of who jesus christ is shouldn't be

5:43where you know you're reading in the

5:46word of god

5:47that these are some qualities of jesus

5:50whatever they are

5:51they're in the word of god that he is

5:54love

5:55he is the um

5:58you know the the split image of the

6:01nature of god

6:03he's just authentic love

6:07that you can't say that you

6:10are in christ and you don't walk in love

6:15because you're not walking in him so

6:17when paul says walk in

6:18him paul is saying walk in

6:21the personality of christ the character

6:26of christ

6:27are you hearing me walk in the character

6:30of christ

6:31now i know what some of you are thinking

6:33and you're saying but henry

6:35you just don't understand that is just

6:37absolutely

6:38crazy i i can't be like jesus christ i

6:42can't because you don't understand the

6:43world

6:44i'm living in this world that i'm living

6:47in is crazy

6:48and you just man look hey henry come on

6:51now

6:52i'm i i'm don't tell me that now because

6:56people will test you

6:57well let me just suggest to you that

7:00jesus himself

7:02when he was living on the earth

7:05experienced the same temptations

7:08you and i are experiencing today

7:11yet he lived a life that was pleasing to

7:15his father

7:17did you catch that so it's not

7:20impossible

7:21to live a life in christ if we

7:24purpose in our hearts to do so

7:28because jesus came on the earth and he

7:31walked it through demonstrated it

7:35to us so that you and i

7:38can live it out so paul is saying so

7:41walk in him

7:43rooted and built up in him and

7:46established in the faith now that's a

7:49mouthful right there it's a mouth

7:52full paul is saying walk in him but how

7:55are you going to walk

7:57in the character of christ

8:00he said you ought to do it by rooted and

8:02been built up in

8:04him rooted rooted

8:07see that's the problem a

8:10tree is as strong as

8:13the roots and you wonder why so many

8:18christians so many people of faith will

8:21wonder and waver and would quit

8:24and give up easily and and just turn

8:27their backs on their

8:28faith and no longer want to live out

8:31their faith journey

8:32is simply because they have no roots and

8:35if they do have roots it's it's very

8:37shallow

8:39it's not strong enough it's not deeply

8:42embedded

8:43into the ground or in their faith

8:46if you will so the question for you

8:50right now as i am actually virtually

8:53in your house you know in your office

8:56with you

8:57perhaps you you've got your iphone

8:59you've got your tablet

9:01and you're watching i have to ask you

9:03the question are you

9:05rooted in god in jesus

9:08christ how strong are you how rooted are

9:11you

9:11in him is this pandemic

9:15causing you to waver in your faith

9:19are you allowing the circumstances

9:22that were produced by this pandemic

9:27to cause you to be tossed back and forth

9:32you know wavering not sure if if you

9:36know you really want to continue

9:38in this faith journey i don't know who

9:40i'm talking to

9:41but there's some of you right now you

9:44are just experiencing

9:46a drought in your spiritual life you

9:50know while others

9:51are saying god you know during this

9:53pandemic i'm reading the bible more

9:55i'm trusting you more i have a deeper

9:59relationship with you

10:01i'm increasing my whole spiritual walk

10:04with you it's getting stronger and

10:05better

10:06unfortunately you and some people

10:10are getting weaker

10:13why is that why is that you would think

10:16that

10:16trouble and calamities and and crisis

10:20will will force us to be more

10:25rooted in god instead

10:28some people perhaps that you some people

10:32allow those issues to to drive them away

10:36from god

10:37they they drift away from their faith

10:40and it's not good see i believe

10:44paul was encouraging

10:48the saints here to be

10:51rooted in him rooted now watch this i

10:54love it

10:55it's a two-dimensional thing here he's

10:58saying

10:58be rooted in god but also be built

11:02up in him oh that's good that's good man

11:06please catch this do you see it there

11:08i'm reading from the new king james

11:10translation here

11:12he said be rooted and built up

11:16in him that's what verse

11:197 is saying rooted and built up in him

11:23rooted meaning you got to get deeper in

11:26god

11:27you've got to make sure your anchor

11:29holds and

11:30grips the solid rock that your

11:33the rock is jesus no matter what's going

11:36on in this world

11:37no matter how people are dogging out the

11:39church and no matter how

11:41and maybe they have a reason why you

11:43know to to do that

11:44no matter what's going on no matter you

11:46may lose your job

11:48people may walk out on you people may

11:50not understand

11:51why you make certain decisions all kinds

11:54of stuff start happening to you

11:56you are going to make that decision that

11:58you are going to be

12:00rooted in god and you're not going to

12:02let anything

12:03cause you to waver in your faith you're

12:05going to stand firm

12:07you're going to believe god you're going

12:08to be like job that i am going to wait

12:11until god changed my situation

12:15by god i don't know who i'm talking to

12:19you're going to wait until god change

12:22your situation

12:24so you're rooted in god that's really

12:26what you're saying

12:27i'm rooted in him so paul says at the

12:31same time while you're

12:32rooted in god build yourself up now

12:36you see you can put a root or a seed in

12:39the ground

12:41and it will push for its roots

12:44first but then after that

12:47the tree has to grow the tree has to

12:51burst

12:51through the hard ground

12:55produce the trunk of the tree branches

12:58and then be a fruit so what paul is

13:01saying

13:03this is good man what you're supposed to

13:06do

13:06is be anchored in god rooted in him

13:10but now make sure you're building

13:12yourself up

13:13make sure every day you're doing the

13:17things that are right

13:19to structure your life to build

13:22your life in such a way that every day

13:26as god gives you new mercies and so

13:28forth every day

13:29you're building your life and you're

13:31building it and you're building it

13:32and you now become this image

13:36of the glory of god in the earth and

13:38people then will begin to see

13:40that god is with you and then they too

13:43will want to say i need what that person

13:46has

13:47i want the god that that person is

13:50serving

13:51because i want to taste and see

13:55the blessings and and and the life that

13:57god

13:58is constructing in their own

14:01life when i say the life i'm talking

14:03about the qualities the abilities and

14:06the greatness

14:07that god is constructing in that

14:09person's life

14:11are you with me i mean this is great man

14:14this is great how many of you can be

14:17honest and i want you to really

14:19interact with me here how many of you

14:21can be honest

14:23and say to yourself and and and confess

14:26it maybe you want to type it right now

14:28on the screen

14:28and be honest and say i have failed in

14:32this area

14:33of getting myself rooted in god and

14:36building myself up

14:38how many you can honestly say i have

14:40failed in that area come on come on

14:42be honest be honest i see you

14:46i see you i see you making the comments

14:48be honest be honest

14:49that you just know that you you could do

14:52a better job you didn't

14:54you could have done a better job in

14:57getting rooted

14:58in god you know there's no need and this

15:01is not a time for

15:02for shallow christians if you will

15:05christians that are just

15:06on the surface now is the time to be

15:09rooted in god

15:12and many of you have missed that

15:15you you did not take the time out to get

15:19rooted in god and that's why with this

15:21pandemic

15:22you are going crazy

15:26what about building yourself up now some

15:29of you

15:30you might have gotten a little bit

15:31rooted

15:33in god but talking about building

15:35yourself up oh

15:36god that you're just not doing that in

15:39fact what you spend more time doing

15:42is building the negatives and building

15:44things that are not going to help you

15:47right i wonder what areas of your life

15:50you can honestly say

15:52i know i need to build in that area come

15:54on say it let me look i'm watching it

15:57what areas of your life you really want

15:59god to build

16:01up in you you know perhaps it's just

16:04your mind

16:05oh your mind your mind your mind

16:08whoo that's that's that's that's a if i

16:11had

16:11time i would talk about the mind

16:15the mind is something we've got to work

16:19on

16:20because the bible says so a man thinks

16:23in his heart to what controls your

16:26emotions

16:27is who you will become and so many

16:30people have missed opportunities so many

16:34people

16:34are living beneath their privileges all

16:38because of their mindset

16:40i can't tell you how many times i look

16:42at people

16:43and i have concluded don't even bother

16:46don't don't even bother

16:47don't even bother trying to even show

16:50them the light

16:52and i hate to say it and you may

16:53disagree with me show them anyway henry

16:56no i'm telling you there's some people

16:58you have to conclude

17:00that you know what you got to leave them

17:01to god because

17:03they are stuck in their own thinking

17:07there's nothing about being transformed

17:09and be renewed

17:11in their mind that that's out of the

17:14window

17:15they don't want to hear that come on now

17:18they don't want to hear that

17:20and people like that what can you do

17:22with them

17:24right because you see they are

17:26comfortable where they are

17:27they need no revelation in fact the only

17:30revelation they have

17:31is their own revelation and listen to me

17:34honey

17:35if nobody and i know in this day and

17:38time

17:39this dispensation we have lost

17:42honor now i'm not saying honor in the

17:45sense of

17:46worshiping a person i've always been

17:49that pastor to say

17:50look don't worship me don't worship me

17:53i'm not god

17:54i'm just i'm human just like anybody

17:57else don't worship me

17:58i've always often times say that but one

18:01of the things that society has lost

18:03is the the the honor of respecting

18:07people whom god will put into your life

18:10to help you with wisdom here's the point

18:12i'm making

18:14there's so many people out there out

18:16there that they

18:18are their own leader

18:21they they nobody can speak into their

18:24life

18:25they value nobody else's opinion they

18:28are living in a closed environment

18:31that's it that's what they believe and

18:34that settles it

18:37and that's sad that

18:40is sad when a person

18:43is not opened to new revelations

18:47new insight and guess what revelations

18:50don't always

18:51come come on hear me now it doesn't

18:53always come

18:54from you reading the word of god just by

18:58yourself

18:59that's important it doesn't come from

19:02you

19:02just thinking no no no no because

19:04sometimes you could be thinking in a

19:06small environment

19:08with a small mindset so what are you

19:10saying henry

19:11you have to find ways of building

19:14yourself

19:14up and god will use people

19:18god will use people to help build you up

19:21because so many people they lack

19:25development in their mind

19:28the way they think so many people lack

19:30development

19:32in their finances i can't tell you how

19:35many

19:35people you hear it over and over it's a

19:38broken record they'll say to you oh i'm

19:41broke they'll say to you

19:42i'm struggling my finances i'm always in

19:45debt

19:45come on now if you look back in your

19:47life for the last 10 years

19:51for the last 10 years and you're always

19:54underwater meaning you're always in debt

19:57you're always struggling

19:59and so forth it's about time you start

20:02telling yourself

20:03okay what can i do differently

20:07to change my outcome what can i do

20:12that would be different from what i'm

20:14doing now that could change my

20:17outcome because some people have settled

20:20in their hearts

20:21and i understand where they're coming

20:23from

20:24but i don't buy it some people are

20:27believing

20:28that okay you know everybody won't be

20:30rich i get that this is not about riches

20:34see this is the lie that has been taught

20:36to the church

20:38because we're not grounded oh thank you

20:40lord

20:41because we're not built up in the faith

20:45you see we live beneath our privileges

20:47and we buy into the lies

20:49of the world the lies of satan

20:53i've never preached the gospel that says

20:55everybody's going to be rich

20:57it's not possible i've never preached

21:01the gospel

21:02that everybody is always going to always

21:05be on the mountaintop

21:06every day no because it's not scriptural

21:10the bible says many are the afflictions

21:12of the righteous they are many

21:14on your faith journey you will have

21:18all sorts of drama

21:22in your life but god will deliver you

21:25so wait a minute now

21:28as you're living your life as a

21:30christian

21:32though your trials may be many

21:35ah thank you lord but as many trials you

21:39have you will have that many victories

21:42oh thank you lord because

21:46many are the afflictions of the

21:47righteous but the lord

21:49delivers the lord will deliver you

21:53out of them all it didn't say a few

21:57so if you've got 10 battles you've been

21:59fighting this year

22:01god is saying he's going to transform

22:04convert those battles into 10 victories

22:09and it is through the struggles in life

22:13you get built up oh i can't tell you how

22:16many times

22:18i couldn't see it back then the

22:20struggles of my life the trials

22:23the testings of my faith i didn't

22:26understand it back then

22:28there are times i questioned god why

22:31why god why am i supposed to go through

22:35this god

22:37but looking back then

22:40i couldn't see it but now i appreciate

22:44every struggle every trial you know why

22:48because i've had victories oh

22:51praise the lord oh i'm telling you i've

22:54had some victories

22:56victories when i listened when my back

23:00was against the wall

23:01when i had moments where i think i was

23:03going to break

23:05break break could i get some real people

23:07to

23:08identify themselves on this wednesday

23:11evening

23:11have you ever been to a point in your

23:15life

23:15where you thought you were going to

23:17break talk to me here somebody

23:20i feel the presence of god i'm telling

23:22you there is an

23:23anointing right now that is on this

23:26service right now

23:27and you better feel what god is sending

23:30your way you better

23:31sense that god is moving right now i

23:33can't tell you how many times

23:35i felt i was going to break my back was

23:38against the wall

23:40glory to god i was running out of time i

23:42didn't know

23:43which way to turn to the left nor the

23:45right i tell you what and

23:47in my mind my flesh was saying curl up

23:50in the bed

23:51play dead cry you know just just it

23:55get get get hopelessness into your life

23:58embrace hopelessness it's never going to

24:01work

24:02but somehow somehow somehow

24:05because i'm rooted in god oh hallelujah

24:09i'm rooted in god somehow based

24:12on how deep my foundation

24:16is in god i noticed that

24:19all of those trials were building blocks

24:23to get me to where i am today so that

24:26in the service tonight i can empower you

24:29i can encourage you and i can say to you

24:32i can say to you ma'am you don't have to

24:35quit

24:36you don't have to give up you don't have

24:38to throw in the towel

24:39you don't have to feel like you can't

24:41make it because if henry did

24:44if somebody else did god is no respecter

24:47of persons

24:47he will do the same for you

25:45and we need to be established in the

25:52rooted in god

25:55you need to be built up in god and you

25:58need to be established in the faith

26:01when you're established you're not

26:03easily moved

26:08listen i'm telling you this ah i just

26:15are many trials if we keep on living on

26:18this planet

26:19we're going to encounter plenty more

26:57i have seen god prove to himself listen

27:00i don't need nobody to convince me if

27:03god is real

27:04i know for myself that there is a god

27:08so all the people who are doubting and

27:12if god really exists and if this god

27:14stuff is really

27:15true especially because of what some

27:17crazy christians have done

27:19listen to me i am not questioning my

27:22faith

27:25i wonder if there's anybody out there

27:28who can testify by typing i know god

27:39nobody has to convince me i know god i

27:42know who god is

28:15and i'm built up so are you rooted

28:20and are you built up man this is good

28:24this is good stuff man and then he says

28:27then he says here in verse 8.

28:30beware lest anyone cheat you through

28:32philosophy

28:34and empty deceit stop there

28:38that's why i just told you i don't care

28:39what happens

28:41i don't care who is talking bad about

28:44the church

28:46unfortunately it's one thing for the on

28:49church to talk bad about the church

28:52but it's really bad when the church

28:55talks about itself

28:58when the church is degrading itself

29:02when the church is

29:05literally destroying itself paul says

29:08beware

29:09of anyone who will try to cheat you

29:11through

29:12their philosophy of deceit

29:16because it's out there it is out there

29:19my friends

29:20people will try that's why when you are

29:23made alive

29:24in christ that's it when you're made

29:27alive

29:28in christ you can't help but be rooted

29:33see that's the message god wants me to

29:35get into your spirit

29:36you need to be made alive in him because

29:40without him we are dead in our

29:42trespasses

29:43and sin but when we're made alive in him

29:48it's easy to detect

29:52the the the the the philosophies of the

29:57enemy

29:59those those ideas

30:02that are empty paul says empty i wonder

30:06what

30:06empty ideas and philosophies

30:09that were designed to weaken your faith

30:13that you have embraced i wonder what

30:16kind of a deceitful ideas

30:18you have embraced the ones that were

30:22purposefully designed to get you to

30:25question your faith

30:28to get you to not be so committed to god

30:31anymore

30:32you know where you kind of like okay you

30:35know again like i said some people are

30:37having a ball with this like me

30:41my faith is stronger i'm reading the

30:44bible more

30:45i'm preaching more sermons than i ever

30:47preached before

30:49i find that because of the pandemic

30:52more people are looking for counseling

30:54more people are looking for hope

30:56and i find pleasure

30:59i find pleasure giving people hope i

31:03find pleasure empowering people

31:07so i don't have time to listen to the

31:08naysayers and

31:10the the schemes of the devil those

31:14deceitful philosophies

31:17that are empty that were designed to

31:20distract us

31:23and then it says let me read it again

31:24verse 8 beware

31:26lest anyone cheat you through philosophy

31:29and empty deceit

31:31according to the tradition of men

31:34according to the basic principles of the

31:37world

31:38and not according to christ

31:42so whatever philosophy or teachings

31:45or beliefs that you have

31:48it should not be based on the ideas of

31:52men that's

31:53basically what he's saying the

31:55traditions of men

31:57and let's face it one of the reasons why

31:59there's a

32:00shaken in the body of christ is because

32:02we weren't

32:03most of us weren't alive in him we were

32:06still

32:07dead lukewarm

32:11so most of us don't understand trouble

32:16forces us to identify

32:20our fruits what fruit do you bear

32:25you cannot listen you cannot

32:29present yourself as an orange tree

32:33but yet still you are

32:36uh producing apples

32:40no if you're an apple tree then

32:44for heaven's sake be it show the leaves

32:47of an apple tree not an a tree that's

32:50orange

32:53come on now not a tree that is

32:56you know an orange tree because it's

33:00bearing

33:00you know because an orange tree would

33:02bear supposed to by the way

33:05it's supposed to produce oranges

33:08are you hearing me so what the apostle

33:12is saying

33:13we need to be careful because there are

33:15traditions

33:17that people are more loyal to come on

33:20church wake up

33:22traditions that most people are loyal to

33:26traditions

33:27then they're loyal to the word of god

33:29that's why they can't get rooted

33:33shallow christians and paul says get

33:36rooted in the word of god

33:39and then i love this he says here

33:42four in verse nine four in him dwells

33:46all the fullness of the godhead

33:49bodily in who

33:52in christ in god

33:57we get the fullness of the godhead the

34:00fullness

34:01of god not a part of god

34:06and it's only when you're rooted in god

34:10and you're built up in him

34:13that you according to the scripture here

34:16can have the fullness of god

34:34it says in him you were also circumcised

34:37with the circumcision made without hands

34:40by putting off the body of sins of the

34:44flesh

34:45so what paul is doing is making

34:48the comparison between the natural

34:51circumcision

34:52of the male child you know when a child

34:55back then in the bible

34:57they'll be circumcised the pulling back

35:00of

35:00of the the male organ and

35:03circumcised cutting of the flesh the

35:06flesh

35:07come on follow me here now cutting back

35:09of the flesh

35:12paul now is saying let's read it again

35:15in him you were also circumcised

35:18in him if any man be

35:21in christ he's a new creature

35:24if any man be in christ the old is gone

35:28it's the cut in back so when you're in

35:31jesus christ when you are a believer

35:33your life is

35:34totally surrendered to god

35:37paul then is saying that you were

35:40circumcised there was a spiritual

35:43circumcision that took place a cutting

35:46back of the flesh

35:48so that the body is no longer subjected

35:52or yielded to sin are you with me

35:56then he says in verse 12

35:59buried with him in baptism wait a minute

36:02now

36:04wait a minute i'm i'm listen i'm telling

36:06you man

36:07y'all better come get me you are better

36:09come get me because i'm having fun with

36:11this man the word

36:12there's life in the word life in the

36:15word

36:16paul when he said this it got me

36:19he said buried in him in baptism

36:23watch this in which you also were raised

36:26with him according to this through

36:29he says through faith in the working of

36:32god

36:33what is he saying here baptism

36:37water baptism he's bringing in the idea

36:41of the circumcision the pulling away of

36:44sin

36:45that's the repentance that's becoming

36:48new in christ

36:49then he's talking about the the

36:52the um the commitment we make as

36:55christians

36:56in being baptized that when we do that

37:00he says we are now

37:01buried in him in baptism so for those

37:05people who

37:05don't see the significance of baptism

37:08you missed it

37:10because why would jesus when he came on

37:13the earth

37:14go through the trouble

37:17to be baptized by john which by the way

37:20john

37:20for a moment refused to baptize him

37:22because john was saying

37:23i am not worthy to do this

37:28but jesus was walking through

37:32the process of redemption to

37:35show you and me

37:38what to do when it's our turn

37:43so if you're born again you're a

37:45christian you'll

37:46never be baptized you may want to

37:48consider this

37:50you may want to consider i'm giving you

37:53a scripture now

37:54that proves come on go ahead and study

38:06in which you also were raised so

38:09remember when you when the minister

39:09the natural man will say this is crazy

39:13what you're talking about that's stupid

39:16well there's no need for baptism anymore

39:19well hopefully i clarified that now

39:23that baptism is symbolic it's important

39:27isn't it is an important part

39:30of the believer's faith journey

39:34and then he says here continues he says

39:37who raised him from the dead verse 13

39:39and you being dead in your trespasses

39:43and the honest circumcision of your

39:45flesh

39:46he has made alive together with him

39:50having forgiven you all trespasses

39:54having wiped out the handwriting

39:58of the requirements that was against us

40:03which was contrary to us

40:06and he has taken it

40:09out of the way having nailed it to the

40:13cross

40:17hello somebody ought to just say thank

40:20you jesus

40:22thank you jesus man one you know i've

40:25i've often time

40:27um said this in many sermons

40:30i love the apostle paul i think he was

40:33one of the most prolific

40:35writers of the bible and especially of

40:37course in the new testament

40:39because the way he framed this man it

40:42breaks it down

40:44so that the the elementary believer

40:48could grasp what what what what god

40:51wants us to receive he's saying we've

40:54been forgiven

40:55god wiped the

40:58the the whole writings of our sins

41:02and and and didn't hold it against us

41:06because we were all guilty because we're

41:08made alive in him

41:10that's why whom the son set free

41:13is free indeed you're free

41:17if you're born again don't let anybody

41:19use your past

41:20present and your future against you

41:23once it is applied under the blood of

41:26jesus you

41:27are forgiven oh my goodness i'm running

42:08i don't care the mistakes you have made

42:10ah we have made a lot

42:13i don't care what stands in your

42:15progress

42:18the act of jesus christ

42:22through water baptism through calvary

42:27has erased the debt

42:30the penalty the shame

42:34away it's gone

42:37we're made alive in him

42:41and you ought to feel that way listen

42:44we're almost there

42:46we are almost there at the end

42:49of 20-20

42:53and i want you to come alive in jesus

42:56christ

42:57let me pray with you father thank you

43:00for your word today

43:01thank you that i have empowered your

43:03people

43:05thank you that lord this word was so

43:08rich

43:10it was life-changing somebody needed to

43:14hear this

43:14right now and i'm so glad

43:18that in your sovereign power it was your

43:21divine will for them to be right where

43:24they're at at

43:26this particular time in history to hear

43:29this life-changing message

43:32a message that will prompt them to

43:34become alive

43:35in you not to remain dead

43:39not to allow the philosophies of the

43:42world

43:43to brainwash them to weaken their faith

43:48that would cause them not to be rooted

43:50in you

43:51and not building their lives each and

43:54every day father i come against

43:55every spirit of laziness right now

43:58that your people will desire to want to

44:01know more about you

44:03would desire to build themselves up with

44:06desire have an

44:07appetite to get in the word to pray

44:10to get into group discussions to to find

44:14it a joy

44:15to go to church virtually for the time

44:18being

44:19to empower themselves because at the end

44:21of the day

44:22it depends on our roots and it depends

44:26on the structure of our building

44:29of our faith life

44:32that will ultimately decide our outcome

44:38the outcome of our successes

44:42is based on how rooted we are in you

44:45and if we're built up in you bless them

44:48now i pray

44:49lord whatever needs they have in their

44:51lives i come in agreement right now

44:54that you're healing them you're

44:57prospering them

44:58you're comforting them right now those

45:00who are hurting those

45:01who have lost loved ones we have many of

45:03our members lord of lost loved ones be

45:06with them i pray strengthen them

45:08many are struggling in their

45:09relationships many are struggling with

45:11their jobs

45:12many struggling in their finances father

45:15help them to work the word that's it god

45:17work the word

45:19if they work the word the word will work

45:22for them

45:24bless them now i pray and father as

45:26always

45:28you've taught us in your word that we

45:31should give to support

45:32your work i pray for the men and women

45:35the many men and women who are standing

45:37with this ministry

45:39and without reservation without anybody

45:42forcing them

45:43without getting into debates whether or

45:45not they should give or not

45:47they are already convinced that they're

45:50doing the right thing

45:52i pray that their given tonight will be

45:55a true representation
