Summary
Bishop Henry Fernandez calls the church to a necessary revival, moving from lukewarm distraction to spiritual hunger so that believers can become lighthouses of hope and impact for the Kingdom.
Key points
- •Revival is not an optional luxury but a necessity to combat spiritual distraction, exhaustion, and disconnection from purpose.
- •True revival must begin within the church and the individual believer before it can influence the culture or the unchurched.
- •Two primary barriers to revival are the shame of past mistakes and an unhealthy reliance on the opinions and approval of other people.
- •Spiritual growth requires intentionality, such as prioritizing prayer and scripture over social media and external physical appearance.
- •The ultimate purpose of personal revival is Kingdom impact, turning believers into lighthouses that bring hope to families and communities.

This week, identify one major distraction in your life (like social media or a toxic habit) and replace 15 minutes of that time daily with focused prayer and reading a Bible app to rekindle your spiritual hunger.
Reflection questions
- What distractions have been keeping you from becoming the best version of yourself in Christ?
- Are you currently seeking the approval of people more than the approval of God in your daily decisions?
- In what ways has your past shame prevented you from stepping into the restoration God offers?
- How can you move from being a mere church attendee to an active ambassador of hope in your workplace or family?

0:02of revived and I
0:08couldn't think of a more perfect theme especially as
0:14we enter into the second half of 2026 than
0:19the theme revived and so today I want to
0:25talk to you about revived for impact revived for
0:30impact because you can be revived but what is
0:36the purpose for the revival that's going on in
0:41your life And I think what God is saying to all
0:47of us, he wants to revive us so that we'll have impact on the
0:53world. Do me a favor, would you raise both hands just as a sign
0:59of surrender to God? And let's just hear what he has to say to
1:05us. Father, we come to you this morning as one body, asking you to
1:11give us the ability, the ability to hear what your servant will speak to
1:17us about. when it comes to being revived. Touch every heart,
1:23I pray, whether they're physically in the building or they're streaming. Let
1:28this word go forth with clarity, give us wisdom, but most importantly,
1:34I pray that we would all surrender to your perfect will and
1:40we'll forever give you the praise, the honor, and the glory. In
1:45Jesus' name, amen. Come on, let's put our hands and thank God
1:51one more time. And you may be seated. You
1:57may be seated. Amen. So let me begin by
2:02stating that many of us already know this. That
2:08we're living in a time when revival is not
2:14optional. It is necessary. Revival is not optional. It
2:19is necessary. Our families need revival. Our communities need
2:25revival. Our nation is in need of revival. revival
2:31and yes the church also needs revival not
2:37because God has changed not because his power
2:43has diminished not because his promises have expired
2:49but here's the reason why we need revival we
2:54need revival because many believers have become watch this
3:00distracted exhausted discouraged and disconnected from the purpose for
3:05which god saved them we've missed the mark somehow
3:11we've become lukewarm and so the enemy's greatest strategy
3:16is not always destruction sometimes his strategy is distraction there's
3:22a difference because if he can distract you he will
3:28ultimately destroy you let me say that again if the
3:33enemy can distract you he can ultimately destroy you if
3:39he cannot stop you from being a follower of Jesus
3:45Christ He will try to stop you from being an effective believer.
3:50You know, you go to church, you're committed to that. You call yourself
3:56a Christian. The enemy will leave you doing that. But he doesn't want
4:02you to be an effective believer. He doesn't mind you going to church
4:07for the next 20 years, the next 35 years, as long as nothing
4:13has changed about you. As long as you're the same. And so
4:19I want you to know if he cannot keep you from impacting people on
4:25the earth, he will try to keep you from becoming the best version of
4:31yourself. Because if you are not the best version of yourself, then you can't
4:37impact anybody. You can't make a difference in the community that you live in.
4:43You can't make a difference in your family. You can't make a difference parenting. You
4:48can't make a difference when you're dating. You can't make a difference with your spouse.
4:54If you're not the best version of yourself, that's where the enemy will keep
5:00you lukewarm, will keep you in a drought, will keep you away from becoming
5:06the best version of who God called you to be. So I want you
5:12to know that revival begins with us, the church. Revival begins
5:17with us, the church. And this kind of revival I'm talking about is not a
5:23revival like I said on Wednesday. It's not a revival where people are just clapping
5:28their hands and getting excited and you have a preacher who comes in the town
5:33and we have a couple of nights of services and we say 30 people give
5:38their life to Christ and we shout and we praise God. That's not the kind
5:43of revival I'm talking about here. You see, the enemy will
5:49distract us and excite us just as long as we
5:55don't change. So I want you to understand that notice
6:00when God spoke in 2 Chronicles 7, verse 14. Watch
6:06this. He did not say, if the world humbles itself.
6:12He says, if my people, he's talking about the church,
6:17my people, the church, will humble themselves if my people,
6:23that's what he said, because revival always starts where? In the
6:28house of God. Before we can change the culture of this
6:34world, God must first change us. Before we influence the unchurched,
6:40we must allow the Holy Spirit to influence the church.
6:46We can't go out there and reach people for Christ and share
6:52the love of God if the church is not revived. Before we
6:58become witnesses, we must watch this, become worshipers. Before we become evangelists,
7:04we must become disciples. That's it. We've got to become disciples first.
7:09How can you go out and reach others when you yourself was
7:15not discipled? God wants to decide for you. That's why you
7:21come here every week. It's not just to have a good shouting Sunday. It's not
7:27just to wear your Sunday best. It is to equip you so that you can
7:32be whom God has called you to be. So when you go out to the
7:38on church, they'll see the Christ that the Bible talks about and not what religion
7:44tries to project. So God is calling his people to recalibrate. Yes, to realign,
7:50to remember who we are. We are the church, a peculiar group of people.
7:55Never said we are perfect people. And for those of you who get kind
8:01of bent out of shape and angry in the church when you see dysfunctional
8:07people in the church. When you see all of these people doing crazy
8:13things contrary to the word of God and you now put a blanket on the
8:19church and say the church is not real and the church is not a place
8:24that you should support or go to. Why? Because you see all of us, not
8:30a few of us, all of us displaying a dysfunction. Well, are you reading your
8:36Bible? The first church was developed with 12 disciples. Jesus went around
8:42and watched this. He never selected the 12 disciples from the
8:48temple. Read your Bible. When Jesus decided to put the 12
8:54together, he didn't go to the synagogues and selected people who project themselves to be
8:59perfect. People who've been in ministry for a long time who could brag and say,
9:05I got selected as one of the 12 because I've been in the church for
9:1030 years. I've been in the church for 40 years. I'm a priest. I'm a
9:16rabbi. I'm a this. No, he went into the streets.
9:21To select people who by the way some of them
9:27when he selected them watch this they weren't even converted. They
9:33weren't even converted. He said, come follow me. Come follow me. And by
9:39following me, watch this. By following me, your ways will eventually. If any
9:45man be in Christ, he's a new creature. The old will pass away.
9:51It's a progression gradually. The more you follow Christ is the more your
9:57ways will begin to change. Can somebody give God praise for that?
10:06You see we're not just attending church here. We're not just attendee. We're kingdom
10:11citizens. We are ambassadors for Christ. We are carriers of hope. I told you
10:17that last week. And we are the light of the world according to Matthew's
10:23gospel chapter 5 14. It says you are the light of the world. A
10:28city on a hill cannot be hidden. The church we can
10:34no longer afford to hide our light even with our imperfection, even
10:40with our dysfunction, even with the problems in the world or in
10:46the church I should say. We cannot afford to hide our light
10:52because ladies and gentlemen listen to me if we hide our light
10:58then where is the world gonna go to find hope? They're not
11:04gonna find it in the nightclub. They're not going to find
11:10it in the parties. They're not going to find it with addiction. They're not going
11:15to find it with hopelessness. They're going to find it with a group of people
11:20who were revived. A group of people who recognize that God, I didn't always,
11:26you know, find myself in the perfect place with you. I was not always right
11:32with you, but God, I need a revival. I need you to restore me. I
11:37need you to bring back the fire in me so that I can go after
11:43you as the deer panted after the water broke. So panted my soul after thee.
11:50The world is waiting, waiting for God's people to rise up and
11:55be the light. The world is not waiting for another trend.
12:01The world is not waiting for some celebrity to do some
12:07great magic. The world is waiting for the church to shine
12:13and we can shine for the glory of God. Many people
12:18are physically alive, but they are spiritually asleep. And so this
12:24month talking about Revive, what we're saying to the church,
12:30Let's wake up out of our sleep. Let's be the light. Let's be the salt
12:36of the earth. The world, they want to know about God. And they want to
12:42make sure that we are pursuing God. They know about God. Many of you, you
12:48know about God. But you're no longer pursuing God. You attend church, but you have
12:54stopped seeking Him. You know, you have kind of a sense of religion.
12:59but you have no relationship we go through
13:05all of these watch this activities but we
13:11have no intimacy we have performance but no
13:16passion And so all of us must understand what David
13:22wrote when he prayed the prayer of Psalm 51 verse 10. He said, now
13:28watch this. And it takes a person who really want to be revived to
13:34say this. He said, create in me a clean heart, oh God, and renew
13:40a steadfast spirit within me. David was crying out to God and
13:45he said God I know my heart is not clean and let me tell you
13:50something you you know you're ready for revival when you stand before God and you're
13:54honest and you can say to God I know I ain't doing stuff right God
13:59I know I'm not where I'm supposed to be God I know my thoughts are
14:03not what they're supposed to be God I'm not doing the things that you've called
14:07me to do so create in me a clean heart oh God and renew a
14:12steadfast spirit a stable spirit not a spirit that goes in and out a flip-flop
14:17spirit a stable spirit a consistent spirit not a spirit that says okay when I'm
14:23in trouble I run to church I go to church when I got problems I
14:29fast and I pray but when everything is going fine you don't go to church
14:35you don't read your Bible talk to me here now it's a revival begins
14:40when you become hungry for God again. And Faith
14:46Center, what God told me to tell you is
14:51that you must develop a hungry for Him again.
14:57Hunger for prayer, a hunger for worship, a hunger
15:03for His Word, a hunger for His presence. There's
15:08a difference. Get back to prayer. Get back to
15:14prayer. Talk less and pray more. Get back to
15:19prayer. Get back to worship. Worship starts in
15:25your private space. So when you come into this public space,
15:31you're not uncomfortable. In your living room, in your bathroom, in
15:36your backyard, in your car. Worship set the atmosphere for worship.
15:42Turn off all of those negative things and turn on worship
15:47music. And in your car, when you're going to a toxic
15:53workplace, Even when you're driving back and forth, learn to worship. Learn to
15:59lift your hands and say, God, I may not understand what's happening in my
16:04life, but to God be the glory. Great things he has done. I'm going
16:10to understand this season, but God, I give you the praise. I give you
16:16the glory. I worship you. I honor you. You might be acting
16:21funny, but God, I praise you. My relationship is struggling, but God,
16:27I worship you. I give everything to you. Get back to worship
16:33so that when you come to the house of God, the worship
16:39team doesn't have to beg you to join them. Worship is
16:44organic. Worship is automatic. Why? You are worshiping at home. You are
16:50worshiping on the job. You are worshiping in the car. So when
16:55you come into the sanctuary, you came with the right attitude. Oh,
17:01I will enter into his gates with thanksgiving, in his courts with
17:07praise. Worship becomes easy. Develop a hunger for his word. Get back
17:12to reading his word. My God, you got an iPhone, you
17:18got a whatever phone you've got, you paid a lot of money
17:24for it. You buy all these expensive stuff and then turn around
17:29and ask God to give you the grace to pay the monthly
17:35payment. Yet you won't download the Bible app on the same system
17:40you're asking God to help you pay for. Come on now. God
17:46is not mocked. You can't trick him. whatsoever man sow, he
17:51will reap. Get hungry for his presence. There's something powerful about
17:57a believer who refuses to settle for, you know, this yo-yo
18:03kind of spiritual walk. You know, one minute you're lukewarm, one
18:09minute you're cold, one minute you're hot. So I'm talking about
18:14reaching a place where you become tired of average Christianity.
18:20Tired of excuses, tired of spiritual inconsistency, and tired of knowing what to
18:26do yet refusing to do it. You see revival starts when you stop
18:31blaming everyone else and start allowing God to work on you. Revival is
18:37not pointing the fingers at somebody else and say look at what sister
18:43so-and-so, brother so-and-so is doing. It's turning the finger on your life and
18:49say God fix me God. I need you to renew the
18:54right spirit within me. You see, the battle to stay consistent
19:00and revived is not just about others around you. It's not
19:06just about them around you. But the battle is within you.
19:12The enemy knows that if he can control your thoughts, then
19:17he can influence your decisions. If he can control your thoughts,
19:24then he can control your decisions because so is the
19:30man think so he become that's why Paul wrote in
19:36Romans 12:2 he says be transformed by the renewing of
19:41your mind you see a revived life requires a renewed
19:47mind a revived mind thinks differently When you're revived in
19:53your thoughts and your mind, you start thinking, "Well, I can't continue this way.
19:59I can't live my life this way. I need God to guide me every
20:05step of the way." Many people spend hours strengthening, watch this, their bodies by
20:11investing, but investing very little time strengthening their minds in the Word of God.
20:17Isn't it funny? how we have all these
20:23memberships at the gym because we want
20:28to look externally good. Men want to
20:33have their guns. Women want to look
20:39sexy. Come on now. Come on ladies.
20:44Firming your butt in other places. Women
20:49want... We spent all this money in
20:55gym to look externally good but internally.
21:00There's a huge deficit internally. Because we
21:05don't have the fear of God within us anymore. We
21:11exercise our muscles but neglect our spirit. We spend hours,
21:17hours scrolling through social media but only minutes reading scripture
21:23if we read it at all. We know what's trending
21:28online but we have no idea what God is saying
21:34in his word. We know everything that's trending. You know
21:40about the World Cup. Thank God for the World Cup. You know
21:46what teams are playing against what team. You know Taylor Swift. They just got
21:51married in Madison Square Garden on Saturday, I think it was. You know all
21:57of these things because you're keeping up with it. Some of you know very
22:03well if you are late for work and even if you are going to
22:08be fired and you leave your phone, you leave that phone at home
22:14They're going to have to fire you because you're going back home.
22:20You know I'm telling the truth. If the church could become so
22:26revived that when you wake up in the morning and you realize
22:31that you have not read your word, that you get so hungry
22:37and say, God, I don't care what else I have to do.
22:43I've got to get into my word. That's revival. That's the revival
22:49I'm talking about. you see revival happens
22:54when the word of god becomes more influential in our lives than
23:00the opinions of what's trending and popular and what's popular with what
23:06people are doing there are two there are two things that consistently
23:11prevent people from being revived number one this is going to be
23:17very important i want you to listen to this it's the shame
23:23of past mistakes the shame of past mistakes The enemy
23:29constantly reminds people of who they used to be. Yes,
23:34constantly of who you used to be. He wants to
23:40trap you into guilt. He wants to trap you into
23:46regret. Trap you into yesterday. When it comes to God,
23:51God specializes in restoration. he wants to restore you i want to
23:57say this to every one of you in here it doesn't matter what you've done
24:02yesterday five years ago 20 years ago when you go before god and say god
24:07here's my heart i am honest i am sincere who i am today i owe
24:12it all to you so god i know my weak spots i know my weaknesses
24:17so god i need you in my life I am developing a hunger for you.
24:23I want to serve you. When you come to God with that kind of
24:29an attitude, he'll restore you. And don't let your past dictate your future. You
24:35don't do that. Isaiah 43, 18 and 19 says, and I love this. It
24:40says, forget the former things. Forget the former things. You got to learn to
24:46forget the former things. Do not dwell on the past.
24:52God's doing a new thing in your life. Don't dwell on the past.
24:57I don't care how difficult it has been because your mistakes are real,
25:03but God's mercy is greater. Your failures may be a part of your
25:09story, but they do not have to determine your future. God is not
25:15looking for perfect people. God is looking for willing people. He's not looking
25:20for perfect people. So at this church, I've said it over
25:26and over. We're not looking for perfect people. We're looking for people who
25:32want to develop a hunger for God. You come just as you are.
25:37You come torn, broken, hurt, confused, frustrated. You come. Our job as God's
25:43people is to love you unconditionally, is to be patient with you and
25:49to know that God can change a life. Why? Because he changed ours.
25:55Number two, it is the opinions of people. So many people can't be
26:01revived because you have allowed the opinions of people to change who you
26:07are. Many believers are allowing the opinions of people, watch this, to silence
26:12God's purpose in their lives. You are worried about the approval of people.
26:18You're worried about who disagrees with you, who criticizes you, who misunderstands you.
26:25You're worried. And so as God's people, we walk around here and we're
26:30worried about people who want to be accepted into certain groups. We want
26:36everybody to agree with us. You know one of the things I learned,
26:41even as a leader, that the day you constantly seek approval of people,
26:47that's the day you're going to be disappointed. I always say, watch this,
26:53do what is right, and God will honor you for that. Even if
26:58others don't like it. Even your children you will do what
27:04is right and they won't be able to see it. Why? Because mentally they're not
27:10able to understand why you had to make certain decisions. And when you're solid and
27:16rooted in God you're gonna make decisions that people don't like. As a believer your
27:21family members won't like certain decisions you make, your friends, your co-workers. Even people in
27:27the church won't like certain decisions that you make. Jesus never allowed public opinion to
27:33determine his assignment. And neither should you. If you're coming to this church for people
27:39to approve of you, you're going to be disappointed. If you're serving in the body
27:44of Christ for people to pat you on the shoulder, you're going to be disappointed.
27:49You need to come into the house of God and whether they like you or
27:55not, whether they don't like, I don't like how she dressed, I don't like how
28:00he looked, that's their business. Dress anyway. Smile anyway. Be happy anyway. Don't let people
28:06control who you are. Oh, that's a good place to shout, man. Galatians 1.10 says,
28:11and I now trying to win. Am I now trying to win the approval of
28:17human beings or of God? So you have to ask yourself the question. When you
28:23come to the house of God, come on now, we all come here week after
28:28week, those of you streaming. Okay, are you coming here for the pastor to approve
28:34of you? Are you coming here for somebody in your road to approve
28:40of you? Are you serving God for the approval of human beings or is
28:46it of God? When you make certain tough decisions when people don't understand, whose
28:51approval are you looking for? Is it for human beings? When you have to
28:57make some tough decisions, some of you God told you to do certain things
29:03and a lot of people didn't approve of it, didn't like it.
29:08and you feel isolated and alone yet you did it why because
29:14god said you ought to do it and i'd rather follow god
29:19than a whole crowd come on now you cannot fully follow god
29:25while being controlled by people you can't you cannot fully follow god
29:30and then be controlled by people at the same time at some
29:36point in time you must choose whose voice matters the most in
29:42your life God is not reviving us so that we can become comfortable. He's not
29:48reviving us so that we can be, he's reviving us, I should say, so that
29:53we can become impactful. You see, the purpose of revival is not merely watch this
29:58personal transformation. It's not so that we can all brag. Look, I'm strong in the
30:03Lord. I've been revived. Look at me. I'm anointed. I'm gifted. God's using me for
30:09personal transformation. The purpose of our revival is kingdom influence.
30:15So that the kingdom of God can have influence in the darkness of the world.
30:21So when the church is revived, I'm almost there. When the church is revived, watch
30:26this, the lost will find hope. Can you imagine if we get revived?
30:33If we ever bond together and walk in unity, that lost people,
30:39people who are without hope will find hope in Jesus Christ. Families
30:45will be healed. Broken people will find their purpose. Communities will experience
30:50transformation. Matthew 28 verse 19, it says, you know it, I read
30:56it recently, go and make disciples of all nations. Notice Jesus did
31:02not say... Wait until they come to you never said wait
31:08until people come to you then you make disciples of them
31:13He said go revival is not complete until it reaches someone
31:19else a revived believer becomes a witness a revived church becomes
31:25a lighthouse a revived congregation becomes a force for Kingdom expansion
31:31When as a church, when as believers I should say, when we are revived, we
31:37become a witness. It did my heart good when I was in the lobby this
31:42morning and two occasions people were introduced to me and they were invited. They were
31:47here for the very first time today but they were invited by a co-worker who's
31:52a member of this church. Another person was invited by someone else. See when you're
31:57revived, you don't keep this to yourself. I don't know where we get
32:03this from that Sunday morning is a dressed up thing where
32:09we just come just to have church. This is bigger than
32:15that. And I don't, you know, I understand stuff like this
32:21is not common anymore in our world. And I'm talking about a church where
32:26you are taught the word and you're challenged to become a beacon of light.
32:32We've become such a group of people now where we are more gravitated to
32:38entertainment. Entertainment and what's trending and the fashions of the world that church has
32:43become now a show and not ministry. But
32:49I'm just asking the faith center, whether you're physically here or you're streaming,
32:55can we just come together and ask God to revive us so that
33:01we can become a lighthouse so that we can have kingdom expansion? So
33:06I've come with good news as I close today. It is not too
33:12late for us to be revived. Don't get caught up in numbers. God
33:18had to teach me that. Don't get caught up in numbers.
33:24You never measure the growth of a church because it's
33:30pot. You never measure the growth and strength of a
33:35church because it's pot. Gideon. Hey, come here, Gideon. There's
33:41a bunch of people called the Midianites. I'm talking Bible
33:47now. For those of you who haven't been in your
33:53Bible, say, like, Gideon. Who's Gideon? Who's Gideon? You're Googling.
33:59Let me see if Gideon has a Facebook page or
34:05an Instagram page. Gideon in the Bible.
34:11There were God's people but there was a group of people
34:17called the Midianites who constantly would harass God's people, oppress them.
34:23So they plant their vineyard, their crop. These people will wait
34:29for harvest time and come in and snatch their harvest. Every
34:34time God would revive them, they get to a place where
34:40the Midianites will come in and rob them. God said, "Hey,
34:46I want you to go take care of this. I want
34:52you to go represent me." If I had
34:58time, I would talk to you about, listen to me. I
35:04don't care what's coming against you. I don't care the forces
35:09that are trying to destroy you. If you read your Bible,
35:15God has a set time to shut your enemies down. He
35:21said, Gideon, you're going to fight. Gideon got 32,000 men. We're
35:27going to fight because he was all caught up with numbers.
35:33Come on, let's go fight. And God says, no, no, no,
35:39no, no. You got too many.
35:44Those of you who run companies
35:50and are supervisors will know this.
35:56Sometimes hiring more people doesn't translate
36:01to greater production. Sometimes you can
36:07have a bunch of employees and
36:12nothing gets done. But you get
36:18rid all of them and put
36:24qualified, capable, competent people. You can shrink
36:30your workforce down to a small group of people and
36:36get much more done. Long story short, God got them
36:41down to 300. Don't you get caught up in numbers?
36:47Just because you have the numbers doesn't mean you're effective.
36:53When Jesus got resurrected and he gave instructions for them
36:59to go into the upper room, right? The upper room
37:05to wait for the of the Holy Spirit. There
37:11were found people around but Jesus only asked for
37:17one hundred and one hundred and twenty people who
37:22went into the upper room and the birthing of
37:28the church took place that you and I today
37:33benefiting from that one hundred and twenty people. I
37:39don't know who God's talking to. You better get
37:44your eyes off the crowd. Get your eyes
37:50off the crowd. Get your eyes off the applause of men. Get your
37:56eyes wanting people to scratch your back and tell you good job. I
38:02am 62. I've lived long enough to know some of the same people
38:08who say good job are the same people stabbing you in your back.
38:14You better get away from people's applause. The only applause you
38:20should be looking for is the one who would look down and
38:25say you are my beloved son You are my beloved daughter in
38:31whom I'm well pleased Somebody ought to give God praise here So
38:37you're not too old to be revived You're not too broken to
38:43be revived You're not you have not gone too far to be
38:49revived and you're not beyond God's reach to be revived He's the
38:55same God who restored Peter after he
39:00failed. Peter who had a temper, he restored
39:06him and he used him. It's the same
39:12God who restored David after he sinned, plotted
39:18to have the man killed. God restored him
39:24after he struggled with pornography. God restored him.
39:29Same God who restored Jonah after he rebelled
39:35against him. I am not going where you
39:41send me. Because God is in
39:47the restoration business so I want you to be
39:53clear today. Get back to having the fire and
39:58zeal of God in your life. Get hungry for
40:04God. Get hungry for God. Get back your prayer
40:10life. You cannot continue the path that you're on.
40:16Where only when you're in trouble you pray.
40:22You don't even know how to pray. You always have to ask people to
40:28pray for you. You want to know when you are revived? It's when your
40:34back is against the wall and you on your knees yourself and talk to
40:39your God. God is not my pastor this time. It's not the intercessor. It's
40:45not my cousin. But God, it is me standing in the need of prayer.
40:51Get back your prayer life. Get back your passion for God. Don't
40:56let anybody have to push you to serve God. Get back your passion
41:02to go to church. Stop making these excuses. Stop allowing the world to
41:08dictate to you whether or not you should go to church. Who are
41:14you going to church for? The preacher? Who are you going to church
41:20for? To show off your outfit or for God to come on the
41:25inside of you and clean you up and pour his anointing in your
41:31life. So stop postponing your spiritual growth. Stop treating
41:37God's presence as optional and stop
41:42allowing distractions to rob you of
41:48your destiny Run after God with
41:53everything that you have run because
41:58you're running out of time. You're
42:03running out of time We cannot
42:09allow the light of God to
42:14grow dim in us this generation
42:19needs a revived church our city
42:25needs a revived church and South
42:30Florida and the world needs a revived church.
42:36So let's put our division aside. Let's put
42:42our issues aside. Let's stop the things that
42:47have been dividing the church for years. Let's
42:53stop allowing politicians to point us to who
42:58God is. Let's get back to serving God.
43:04Because revival is not an event. It's a
43:09decision. It's a decision, watch this, to surrender
43:15to God. to pursue God and to become
43:20everything that God has created you to be. That's what
43:26a revival is. And I am just asking every man
43:32and every woman in this building, every person streaming to
43:37join me as we lay aside every sin and weight
43:43that so easily set us back. And let's be revived.
43:48And let's ask God to let us be a church
43:54without spots or wrinkle. Not a church
44:00that is lukewarm. Not a church that gets caught
44:05up in status. Not a church that gets caught
44:11up in branding. Not a church that gets caught
44:17up in the external look of things. But a
44:22church that genuinely wants more of God. More of
44:28God. A church that is willing to say, God,
44:33if you can use anything. If you can use
44:39anybody. Use me because I don't
44:45know who this is for because you have Backslidden and
44:51you wonder why you can't see your way out is
44:56because you've been blinded by the path that you're on
45:02But if you run to God fool if you come
45:07on back home if you get revived I promise you
45:13every dead areas of your life he'll resurrect it when
45:18he was calling Ezekiel and Ezekiel looked and he
45:24said those are dry bones and I'm telling the church
45:30today, maybe dry and we're back slid from the will
45:36of God. God still can use dry bones. I don't
45:41care how empty you feel. You let him pick up
45:47those dry bones and today I'm telling you he'll speak
45:53life into your situation. So that you can
45:59become the man that will become the best version of yourself.
46:05Oh, brother, please hear me this morning. You're running out of
46:11time. Men, please hear me today. You have not gone too
46:17far where you cannot be revived. Men, the world is waiting
46:23for men to stand and step in like Peter.
46:29I might have been like David, but I
46:34am a man after God's own heart. Let's
46:40get revived men. Let's get revived. Our daughters
46:45are waiting for it. Society is waiting for
46:51it. Spouses are waiting for it. Our children
46:56are waiting for it. Let's get revived. Women,
47:02let's get revived. Because I'm going to tell
47:07you something. I asked God for 100 years.
47:14I believe he's gonna give it to me. But
47:20here's the reason why I said that. I have
47:25more years behind me than what's in front of
47:31me. Even if he gives me a hundred, I
47:37only have thirty more, thirty eight more years left.
47:43I want to make it count. Forgetting those things
47:48which are behind. I'm reaching thirty eight more years.
47:54I'm reaching for everything. I press towards the mark.
48:01of the higher calling oh God's
48:07calling somebody God's calling somebody it's
48:12time to go higher hit your
48:18neighbor till and it's time to
48:23go higher it's time to go
48:28higher it's time to go higher
48:34stand on your feet with me
48:39everybody stand on your feet it's

51:30I want to be a part of God's army. Come on.
51:36I want to be a part of God's army. I want
51:42to be like David, renew in me a right spirit. I
51:48don't want to play church anymore, God. I want to know
51:54you that I may know him. I want to know you I

52:52on. Those of you standing here, lift up your hands. This is not a moment
52:58to spectate. Those of you in the audience, come on, stretch your hands and begin

59:00the extra time. But for those of you who
59:05are standing in front of the stage, let me
59:11tell you something. I believe in my heart. Listen,
59:16I don't know about you, I sense, and those
59:22of you who are standing out there, I sense
59:27in my spirit that today is a brand new
59:33season for you. I'm telling you it's a brand
59:39new season for you God has given you a new opportunity
59:45to be revived forget those things which are behind you do
59:51not let the enemy let you leave here today start thinking
59:57of the past it is behind you get in your word
60:03get around people who will feed you the word and encourage you
60:08get yourself away from toxicity you stay in that word you pray to God
60:14to the best of your ability he's not asking you to pray with fancy
60:20words just be yourself but you've got to make a commitment to keep this
60:26revival going so you read your word you pray go to church come to
60:31church the devil doesn't want you to come to church He'll give you
60:37all kinds of excuses why you shouldn't go. Do you know how many people
60:43should have been here this morning? Get hands laid on. But because again, they
60:49just procrastinated and they just kind of, well, I didn't see the importance. You
60:55listen, you need the body of Christ. You get back into speaking faith. And
61:00all of us in this room, if we keep this up, listen to me.
61:06If we keep this up by December 1st, You're going to be shocked
61:12at the transformation in your life. So you have to be consistent. You can't be
61:17hype up now and next week you go back to square one. Fight your way
61:23through. You fight your way through. Look for help. Ministers, we're here to help you.
61:29You see us in the lobby on Sunday mornings. It's not just for a show.
61:34It's to encourage you. When you walk through the doors, we know you're coming with
61:40a lot of stuff. You go through a lot
61:46of stuff every week. But when you come through that
61:52lobby, we're here. We are here. We're standing in the
61:58battlefield. And just one encouragement, one shake hand will help
62:04lift that burden. So I declare to you today that
62:10you are revived. Don't lose your fire. Don't you lose
62:16your fire. You go home, get in your car.
62:22Go on the job this week and know that you have been revived. I can't
62:27wait to see you on Wednesday and I can't wait to see you on Sunday.
62:33Let's all lift our hands as we conclude the service. Those of you streaming, thank
62:39you so much. And if God put it in your heart before the end of
62:44this week, you didn't participate in the giving, please consider helping your church in the
62:50month of July. We've got to get through this. God's going to give you a
62:56special seed this week. He's going to put in your life some unexpected resources. When
63:01you get it, you make a pledge and you say, God, I'm going to give
63:06that seed that Bishop asked about. Some of you before, by the time you get
63:11home, God's going to prompt you. You can still go on our platforms
63:17and you can still give. Let's say it out loud together.
63:22Faith in God will move mountains out of our lives. God
63:28bless you. That's our benediction. You are revived. We'll see you
63:33Wednesday or Sunday. Thank you so much for coming. Thank you
63:39so much for streaming today. God bless you. God bless you.
63:44Come on. Worship. Worship. I
63:50want more
63:56of you,
64:01God. I
64:07want you,
64:12God. I
