0:27you for this opportunity that you have
0:30afforded all of us
0:32today as I preach this word I pray that
0:35the holy spirit will enable me to
0:38deliver it with
0:40Clarity and with the ability to cause
0:44your people to trust you and to know
0:47that this sermon is an answer to their
0:51prayers bless that man that woman who
0:54seeking to hear from you let this sermon
0:59be the answer and we give you praise for
1:02it in Jesus name amen come on let's
1:05celebrate it one more
1:09time and please be
1:13seated so we're talking about finding
1:17purpose in trauma and
1:23uncertainties today I want to start the
1:26month of October with a new theme and
1:30that is I am because he
1:36is I am because he is would you repeat
1:41it I am because he is come on let's do
1:45it one more time I am because he is in
1:51fact I want all of us to use this theme
1:56in a personal way throughout the month
1:58of October
2:00I'm asking for your support in joining
2:03the rest of us in making our voices be
2:06heard declaring The Marvelous works of
2:11God and the things that he's doing in us
2:15and through us so each week of this
2:18month I want you to fill in the blank in
2:22the sentence that says I
2:26am whatever you want to
2:28declare because
2:30is because the truth is so many of you
2:34right now what you're
2:36confessing is really based on what
2:39you're
2:41experiencing but there's a danger in
2:43doing that what you're confessing is
2:47based on what you're
2:49experiencing and you can no longer live
2:52your life confessing just what you're
2:55experiencing that's not encouraging amen
2:59you have to learn to begin to
3:02confess what you are
3:05expecting what you're believing God for
3:08what you know that God has already
3:11declared over your life so this
3:14statement I am because he is suggest a
3:18deep connection between your current
3:20position and the divine presence of God
3:26don't miss
3:27this your conf confession what you're
3:31confessing the statement I am because he
3:34is it is suggesting that you have a deep
3:38connection you're you're connecting
3:40watch this you're connecting what your
3:42current position is I don't know what
3:44that current position is maybe you
3:47you're dealing with some issues in your
3:49life that's very difficult to
3:52handle but you're confessing that yes I
3:55I'm in a traumatic situation I'm in a
3:58problem I'm in a situ situation but
4:01according to my confession because God
4:04is he'll sustain me in my present
4:08crisis are you hearing me so you and I
4:12need to understand that declaring that
4:14you are is actually emphasizing that
4:19your being is a reflection of the Divine
4:23will of God for your life am when you're
4:26declaring that you are you are are you
4:30are what you're speaking what you're
4:33expecting what you're believing God for
4:36you actually saying I want to be a
4:39reflection of the Divine will of
4:42God not how I feel not what people are
4:46saying not my present
4:48circumstances I am because he
4:52is God is in my future and because he's
4:55in my future regardless of what I'm
4:58dealing with in the present moment I
5:01know that that too will change you see
5:04your life will radically change for the
5:06better when you see yourself the way
5:09watch this the way God sees
5:14you if if I can give you probably the
5:17most important s suggestion you will
5:19ever have this year and it is this start
5:24seeing yourself the way God sees
5:27you not the way you see yourself not the
5:31way you feel not the way people have
5:34defined who you are but see yourself the
5:37way God sees
5:39you you have to literally literally
5:43believe that God sees you better than
5:47you see yourself because your life would
5:49radically change for the better when you
5:52see it God's
5:54way you see I am because he is is a
5:58powerful affirmation of Relentless faith
6:03in spite of whatever
6:05obstacles are before me it is making
6:09that declaration that I am well you say
6:11well Henry well you're broken you're
6:13hurt you're confused you you're going
6:15through issue I understand that well if
6:18you want to declare that over my life
6:20that's fine I am admitting that I'm in
6:23that situation but I am blessed I'm
6:27anointed I have the favor of God on my
6:30life because he is are you hearing me
6:34today so how do you currently see
6:37yourself that's a question you have to
6:39answer how do you currently see yourself
6:43do you see yourself based on what is in
6:46front of you or do you see yourself
6:49based on God's word that he spoke to you
6:53about what he told you about you he said
6:56you are fearfully and you're wonderfully
6:59made you're never defined by your
7:03circumstances you're defined by the word
7:05of God that is spoken over your life how
7:09do you see yourself what is standing
7:12before you this morning what is standing
7:16before you today that's causing you not
7:19to see the way God sees you please I
7:23want to demonstrate this this morning
7:25and I want to show you how many of you
7:28are living your life this morning that
7:31you have allowed the present obstacles
7:33before you to block you from seeing the
7:37blessons of God in your life would you
7:39come here sir turn it around this way
7:41perfect perfect stand right here all
7:44right would you just push it down a
7:46little bit further right stand right
7:48there I want to show you something here
7:52there's two sides to every
7:58story my
8:03God there's two
8:06sides the problem with many of you
8:09you're just living on the wrong
8:12side there's two sides you woke up this
8:16morning you went through this week and
8:19you've allowed the devil to Define which
8:23side you ought to
8:26remain and your vision is blind
8:30you have no idea that there's two sides
8:33to every story life will present
8:35obstacles before you and if you're not
8:39careful these obstacles will create a
8:43narrative that prevents you from seeing
8:46yourself the way God sees
8:50you you will always encounter
8:53narratives that will convince you that
8:56you aren't good enough
9:01so you're on this side and Satan will
9:04say to you every single day of your life
9:07you're not good
9:08enough you're not good enough and if
9:11you're not careful that's what you see
9:14so what do he does he brings all the
9:17issues of your life before you to let
9:20you only see the negatives that he's
9:25speaking into your
9:26ears you have no vision
9:30you have no idea that whatever you're
9:33going through the trauma that you are
9:36going through God is going to use it for
9:40his
9:43glory and maybe what many of you need
9:46today in your life is a metamorphosis
9:51experience that instead of uh believe in
9:54what the devil says you're not good
9:56enough that somehow God will begin to
9:59transform your thinking to let you begin
10:02to evolve into knowing that no that's
10:05not what God says there's another side
10:08of your story yes you're good enough yes
10:13you're empowered to be
10:15great but you say well Henry I don't see
10:18it that way because they obstacles AB of
10:21course absolutely they trauma their
10:24uncertainties so when he says to you
10:27you're not good enough you can't see it
10:29the devil will tell you you're not smart
10:31enough to figure things out on your own
10:34he'll tell you that you are a failure
10:36and that's all you see because you
10:39cannot see you cannot see you cannot see
10:42God on the other side you cannot see
10:45that that that though you're standing
10:47here and the devil is telling you you
10:50are a complete failure you can see
10:54beyond that because you have allowed
10:56yourself not to to
11:02evolve a
11:05caterpillar will
11:08crawl and you look at him and you will
11:11say there's nothing good coming out of
11:14that
11:16caterpillar and God sent me here today
11:18to tell
11:20you that he's sick and tired of you
11:27crawling
11:29he never designed you to crawl and to be
11:33begging for
11:35crumbs and the pressure that you are
11:38feeling the pressure that you are
11:41experiencing is to cause you to evolve
11:44he wants to bring you from the
11:48ground and he is allowing whatever the
11:51enemy is doing to crush you and to cause
11:55you to change from a caterpillar and you
11:58will not no longer walk but you're about
12:00to
12:04F would you hit somebody and tell them
12:06you're about to fly you're about to fly
12:09man you're about to
12:12fly you cannot allow the enemy to just
12:17paint one side of the story to you to
12:20tell you that you're broken you're
12:22broken Beyond
12:24repair your negative past will
12:27permanently hold you back back and
12:29you've concluded that he's telling you
12:32you're a loser and you stand no chance
12:35of winning in life that's what he will
12:38tell you he'll tell you you're
12:42unattractive you are not even average in
12:45your looks do you know how many people
12:47in this room and streaming today who
12:50have concluded you are
12:55ugly wait a minute who created you
13:01who created you it's not your mommy or
13:03your
13:05daddy they were just the instrument that
13:08God used to bring a pouch your life
13:11listen to me young ladies and men if you
13:15ever allow people to Define your
13:20beauty they will control
13:24you you got to learn to look in the
13:27mirror every day and you got to tell
13:29yourself I don't care what my
13:32circumstances is I'm tearing down every
13:36wall and I want to see myself the way
13:40God sees me he sees me as a blessed
13:43individual he see me as the apple of his
13:46eye and no longer will I let barriers
13:50block me from seeing who God says I am
13:54somebody ought to give him praise
13:57today
14:00so the list goes on and
14:02on because we struggle we struggle to
14:06tear down the experiences of life to see
14:12how God sees us we struggle with that so
14:17every day we get up and we've got these
14:19trauma we got these uncertainties before
14:22us and there's no way as a child of God
14:26you can allow the devil to convince you
14:28that you you are all of the things that
14:31I just
14:32mentioned so please don't forget that
14:34you are a child of God and if you're a
14:36child of God you are blessed and you are
14:39provided for listen to me you are
14:41blessed and you're provided for you are
14:44blessed and you're provided for you are
14:48blessed and you're provided for well
14:51Henry you just don't understand you
14:52don't understand what I'm going through
14:54right now you don't understand that I'm
14:55broke right now you don't understand I
14:57don't have enough money right now you
14:58you don't understand that I'm almost at
15:00the verge of bankruptcy now and so forth
15:02that's the problem with you that's the
15:04problem with you please pick the sheit
15:05back up that's the problem with you why
15:08why do you find
15:11enjoyment in living on one side of the
15:16[Applause]
15:18fence why do you keep echoing what the
15:21devil is telling you where's your
15:25faith where's your faith where's your
15:27tenacity where's your push where's your
15:31fight to say no I understand that I'm in
15:34a situation now but watch this according
15:38to John 1:12 the Bible says but as many
15:41watch this when I read this man I found
15:45joy in this scripture man my face was
15:48just lit up with a big smile it says but
15:51as many has received him to them he gave
15:55watch this the right to become
15:59children of God to those who believe in
16:01his name now that that that really hit
16:03me because uh when you are a son or a
16:08daughter to a wealthy
16:12man if your daddy got money if your
16:15daddy got influence if your daddy can
16:19pull strings for you you're okay no
16:22matter what you're going through I don't
16:24care if you're in jail I don't care if
16:26you're suffering I don't care if you're
16:28hungry
16:29when your daddy got influenced you don't
16:31worry about anything well if that's true
16:34in the natural how much
16:39more oh somebody ought to work with me
16:41here
16:42today if that's true in the natural how
16:45much more should you believe that your
16:48heavenly father will provide for you
16:51that your heavenly father will make a
16:53way for you I just stopped by to tell
16:56somebody stop worrying about the present
16:59moment God's about to turn things around
17:03in your
17:05life and you got to believe
17:08him you got to believe that he's about
17:10to turn things in your life he says if
17:13you have received him you have the right
17:17to say he is my
17:20father you have the right to say our
17:23father who are in heaven Hallowed be thy
17:26name thy kingdom come thy will what's
17:31your will beloved I wish above all
17:34things that you prosper come on slap
17:38somebody and tell them you got to
17:40prosper claim it claim it claim it
17:44that's the will of God for your
17:48life that's the will of God for your
17:55life you're in a brand new month yeah
17:59few years ago Ronald Reagan told the
18:02president of Russia tear that wall
18:06down and some of you need to get up
18:08every day and not just tear walls down
18:11you need to
18:13kick
18:14kick kick the devil out of your life
18:18tell the Devil he's a liar I believe I'm
18:21blessed I believe I'm anointed I believe
18:24this is my season I believe that this is
18:27my breakthrough moment
18:29kick the negative things down somebody
18:32give God a praise in the house
18:35[Applause]
18:37today but
18:40unfortunately some people will find it
18:44difficult to muscle up the courage to
18:47declare that they are
18:50blessed and they're
18:52favored and especially in this season of
18:55great opportunities all because
18:59they're in a
19:00crisis and in uncertain
19:03times let's face it this country is
19:07really in uncertain times yes I was
19:11talking to a friend the other day and I
19:13said to them we got to
19:16pray we got to pray we got to pray for
19:19our
19:21government we really got to
19:24pray we we got to
19:27pray but what do you do when you're in
19:29un certain times you see you should
19:32never let life's challenges watch this
19:35shape shape a narrative that claim
19:39things will never improve for you not
19:43when you've got
19:46faith not when your trust is in God and
19:52not man when your trust is in God the
19:56truth is you don't see no barriers
20:01you don't see no barriers that no matter
20:04what you are currently going through
20:06whatever trauma you're involved in at
20:09this moment when you've got faith you
20:12see that God is about to use that for
20:15his glory Romans 8 ver8 I love it I love
20:19it I love it this will make you just
20:22snap out of depression glory to God it
20:25says for I consider that the suffering
20:28of this present time are not worthy
20:32comparing with
20:34the pick up the pick it up back pick it
20:36up when I read that when I read that man
20:39when I read that I am like we just need
20:41to get our act
20:43together the scripture is saying for I
20:47consider I I made a
20:51decision that this present time this
20:55present crisis this present in
20:59trauma I I can't see the victory I can't
21:02see the Breakthrough I can't see the
21:05blessing but I
21:07believe that what I'm going through is
21:11not worthy to be compared to what I
21:15shall become Oh Glory to God are y'all
21:18not with me man I'm preaching to myself
21:21I'm preaching to myself I I I dare free
21:24of you to get up and just turn just turn
21:27just turn just turn just turn that's it
21:30just turn that's
21:33it eyes shall not see ye shall not hurt
21:38neither have it entered into the heart
21:41of what I shall
21:46become Paul says I I consider that the
21:51sufferings of this present time the
21:55suffering so I want to talk to a few
21:57people where suffering right now you're
21:59in a trauma and you're dealing with
22:02uncertainties what Paul says I consider
22:05my present condition and I compare it I
22:09compare it with with with what is to
22:11come and I've concluded glory to God
22:15it's worth it all it's worth the fight
22:18it's worth the negativity it's worth the
22:21criticism let them talk let them fight
22:25you let them come at you you but baby
22:30God's about to show up in a mighty way
22:34in your
22:35life am I preaching to
22:40anybody God's about to show up and to
22:44prove to everybody he's been with you
22:48all that time so while you're on this
22:51side cry if you got to cry mourn if you
22:55got to mourn but sooner or later
22:58I promise you God's about to do
23:01something God's about to turn oh he's
23:05about to turn your life
23:08[Applause]
23:13around I'm almost
23:15through I'm almost through here so Paul
23:19was actually saying to us that the
23:21future that God has for us the future
23:24that God has for us I don't know who
23:25this is for but the future that God has
23:28for us cannot be compared to the present
23:33challenges so snap out of that
23:35[Applause]
23:38depress snap out of it handle it like a
23:42woman handle it like a man because that
23:46too shall pass every problem has an
23:49expiration date you keep trusting God
23:53you keep believing God God's about to
23:56flip it oh look at somebody and tell him
23:58God's about to flip he's about to flip
24:01it he's about to flip it he's about to
24:04flip it he's about to flip it it's
24:10a he's about to flip it man he's about
24:14to flip it I don't know what you're
24:16waiting for but God's about to flip
24:20it he's about to
24:22turn things around so perhaps the
24:25pressure you're feeling the challenges
24:28you're faced with are
24:31signs that God is preparing you for
24:35something greater and whatever that
24:38greater is you must in this present
24:41moment see yourself not as as a result
24:44of your
24:45circumstances but as evidence of the
24:49Declaration of your spiritually based
24:54words what what you're saying amen
24:59cuz the
25:00moment you start changing your words now
25:04your situation may not change right I'm
25:08not telling you your trauma is going to
25:10go away right I'm not here telling you
25:14that you're going to live happily ever
25:15after and the devil is not going to
25:17attack you the only way the devil stop
25:20attacking you if you are the Devil
25:23[Applause]
25:26Himself
25:31but as long as you're on the Lord's
25:36Side you're going to be a target for the
25:39devil but the moment you start speaking
25:43the word of
25:44God all of a sudden please both of you
25:48can leave leave these two stay there you
25:50can
25:51leave the
25:53moment you start
25:56declaring those things that are
25:59not the way you see
26:02them you don't see
26:05barriers sir it doesn't exist let me
26:08tell you who will identify them it's the
26:11people in your life who don't believe
26:13like
26:15you they will always bring up
26:18stuff but as a Believer you've got to
26:22see that whatever that greater is in
26:24this present moment you got to declare
26:27this spiritual words and I want to
26:28encourage you today to not allow the
26:31trauma and uncertainties of life to
26:33dictate to you who you
26:36are because watch this there's a purpose
26:40for all of the trauma you're
26:44experienced I know you don't like that
26:47there's a
26:48purpose in all of the
26:51trauma you're
26:53experiencing and you're not going to
26:56graduate if you you don't show up for
27:06class you're not going to do well in
27:09life if you depend on artificial
27:16information if you want somebody else to
27:20pray for you alone if you want somebody
27:23else to encourage you I don't mind
27:26people encouraging me but there going to
27:28be some moments in my life when I am in
27:31my house 2:00 in the morning I can't
27:34call nobody I got to call him for myself
27:41myself you got to learn to pray for
27:43yourself you got to learn to believe God
27:45for yourself you got to learn to open
27:47your mouth and encourage yourself boy
27:50pick yourself up Henry get up off the
27:53floor believe God things will change
27:55trouble don't last always God is for you
27:59and if God be for you who can be against
28:01you you got to learn to speak to
28:04[Applause]
28:06yourself not just depend on people good
28:10so God never makes a mistake and while
28:12you're trying to totally erase all of
28:14your
28:15mistakes that you've made in the past
28:19God wants to use those mistakes to point
28:22out to you your
28:24purpose and this is where I close it
28:28you see that your childhood
28:31trauma produced a stronger and more
28:35courageous

28:52through to get to this present
28:56moment half of us will pass
28:59out do not let my dressing fool you do
29:03not let the Fancy Shoes fool you do not
29:07let the haircut or the hairo or the
29:09nails fool you I have to fight my way
29:13through life to get
29:16here am I talking to anybody in the
29:19[Applause]
29:21house we have to
29:23fight to get where we are
29:26today you have survived all the
29:29dangerous
29:31situations that you had to walk through
29:33in life and you're still here you're
29:37still
29:38here man I get up every day like George
29:41Jefferson I don't want to let all my
29:44haters know I got
29:47up I dare somebody stretch your hands
29:50and say I got
29:51up you can hate on me all you want you
29:55can talk about me all you want one he
29:58keeps on blessing me ah he keeps on
30:02blessing me I got up I got up I got
30:13up you have faced so many
30:17opposition yet you have proved them
30:20wrong so in closing let me ask you to
30:23invest in yourself by declaring watch
30:25this positive affirm over your life
30:28especially this month and let all of us
30:32let let let let all of your setbacks and
30:34your failures as well as your fears the
30:37fears of the unknown let it push you to
30:41find reason to
30:43believe that you can go on and and that
30:47God is doing something with the trauma
30:49in your life and and maybe Romans 8:28
30:53will be more meaningful to you because
30:55the Bible says and we know we're not
30:57novice to this we
31:00know all
31:03things all
31:05things the childhood
31:08drama maybe you never had a daddy in
31:10your life he was absent from your life
31:13maybe you had abusive parents and maybe
31:16you have a bad past and maybe you're
31:18broken you're wounded but but but we
31:21know that all
31:24things works for the good of those who
31:28love him watch this now this the best
31:30part of it who have been
31:32called according to his purpose there's
31:37purpose in your pain man there's purpose
31:41in your pain there's purpose in your
31:44pain I am the man that I am today cuz I
31:48went through some
31:50stuff don't let this little short 5 fo8
31:55Boy tell you and make you think that I
31:58woke up with a gold spoon in my mouth I
32:01went through a lot but I'm still
32:08standing and you can stand too when you
32:11believe the word of the Lord so what I
32:14want you to do is start declaring that
32:17you are strong because he is strong I
32:20want you to declare that that you are
32:22faithful because he is faithful that you
32:24are blessed because he is the blessing
32:27you are healed because he's the Healer
32:30you are an overcomer because he
32:34overcame those are the things you ought
32:36to be
32:38confessing and if you would stand on
32:40your feet wherever you are and for those
32:42of you are streaming I want you to shout
32:45these confessions out thank you
32:48gentlemen thank you I want you to shout
32:50these confessions
32:52out I want you to shout them
32:55out you've got to invest in yourself
32:59that you are because he
33:01is amen that I am whatever you got to
33:05confess it I am do not close October
33:09out without taking charge over your
33:12destiny and over your future you speak
33:15those
33:16words so there are five things I want
33:18you to repeat together they're going to
33:20put it on the screen and I want you to
33:22shout it out as loud as you can come on
33:24let's go for it I'm strong because he's
33:27strong I am faithful because he's
33:30faithful I am blessed because he's the
33:33blesser I am heal because he's the
33:36Healer I'm an overcomer because he
33:40overcame come on give him a praise
33:46tonight
33:49Hallelujah
33:50you are an
33:53overcomer because he was first partaker
33:58of the trauma and the
34:02uncertainties you don't have to
34:06live on one
34:08side of the devil's opinion about you
34:11and your
34:13future there's two sides to every
34:16story which would you
34:19believe would you believe the devil's
34:23report would you say God I believe your
34:26report
34:28for I don't care what family you grew up
34:35with I don't care if the trauma that
34:37you've
34:39endured I don't care of the problems
34:41you're dealing with right
34:42now God sent me here to tell you Jus
34:47that you need to declare for the entire
34:50month that you are what you are
34:53believing him for
34:55amen amen the
34:58power of your
35:02confession problems won't go away
35:05anybody who say that to you they're not
35:07telling you the truth
35:10trth but watch
35:13this your
35:15confession will shift you from the
35:18negative into the positive
35:22amen for you to confess that you are
35:25powerful that God is with you and I
35:28don't know who this word was
35:31for but I believe some people are in
35:33this room and perhaps those of your
35:36streamen maybe you felt that your
35:39situations were going to Define who you
35:43are but I'm sent here today to tell you
35:46don't believe that lie
35:48am don't believe that
35:50lie in fact young lady you can radically
35:54change your life if if you take he to
35:57this message and just start
36:01confessing who watch this who you're
36:05not the devil says you are people say
36:08you but God didn't say you are those
36:11things amen you confess
36:14yes I'm I'm walking in my confession
36:17every day amen God I confess I confess I
36:21that's the that's how the world was
36:22created
36:24words the power of your words
36:28you declare that clean up your social
36:32media and
36:36declare answer your phone
36:39declare now I've got to warn you there
36:42some people they will always live on one
36:45side and how you shut them down if you
36:48see a number that you
36:53know I not
36:55today I like not
36:59today not today I'm not going to take
37:02that
37:03call and if you keep up with that mask
37:06I'll delete your
37:10number father I thank
37:12you for this word that you spoke to
37:17us we will walk in the manifestation of
37:22your
37:23word the word that you've declared over
37:25our lives
37:27I believe somebody's walking
37:29away
37:31knowing that this was the
37:34day you have designed for them to hear
37:37this message so that they can walk in
37:39their Divine Purpose so that they can
37:41experience a transformation they can
37:44evolve

38:12people you love them with an everlasting
38:15love and if we all could just live
38:18within that our lives would radically
38:22change as we depart from this place or
38:25people are logging off
38:27Let Your Presence be with us bless our
38:30prayer service tomorrow and our service
38:32on Wednesday we're expecting you to do
38:34great things we're expecting this week
38:37to be blessed our situations may not
38:40change but because we've taken on a new
38:44attitude that we are
38:46successful this week because you are
38:51already
38:52successful you never make a
38:55mistake and therefore we're going to
