0:28should say to a community Community of

0:33encouragement it is impossible to live
0:36life in isolation and Thrive without
0:41fellowship with a community of
0:45Believers it's
0:48impossible you you
0:50cannot have
0:52fellowship with a community of
0:55people and isolate
0:58yourself you see life's journey requires
1:03connection
1:04partnership and a sheared sense of
1:09purpose want to say that again life's
1:12journey requires
1:15connections you you cannot make it
1:17through life and not being connected to
1:22God ordained
1:25people sitting right next to you right
1:28now I I firmly believe it's your God
1:33ordained
1:35neighbor God allow that person whether
1:38you know them or not to be in your life
1:42for a
1:43reason so though
1:46many uh May uh strive for Independence
1:50and
1:52self-sufficiency God's word reminds us
1:56that it is not good for man to be
2:02alone let's look at Genesis 2:
2:0618 the Bible says then the Lord God
2:10said it is not good that the man should
2:15be
2:15alone for I will make him a
2:19helper fit for
2:22him what God is saying here I will make
2:25you a a person that's suitable for you
2:30and so when we're talking about God
2:33connections we're talking about being
2:35connected to people who are suitable for
2:40you whether it is in dating whether it's
2:43in marriage whether it's your business
2:46partner whether it is a church a church
2:50when all of us surrendered our life to
2:53the Lord Jesus Christ he took the old
2:56man and created the new man and then he
2:58placed us to together as a community of
3:01people so that we are suitable for each
3:04other where we receive edification
3:07strength and
3:09encouragement you see we were created
3:12for community and this is especially
3:17true within the body of
3:20Christ don't miss this we were created
3:24for
3:26Community all of us we were created to
3:30become one in Christ
3:35Jesus so let's look at the meaning of
3:37the word Fellowship the definition of
3:39Fellowship because to me it has two
3:42definition it has the physical
3:44definition that's the definition that we
3:48use from the regular dictionary but
3:50there's also a spiritual definition of
3:53the word Fellowship Fellowship in the
3:56general
3:57context refers to a close
4:01Association among people watch this now
4:05who share common
4:08goals values and
4:12interest when we talk about Fellowship
4:15in the general
4:17context it is people who come close
4:21together with sheared common
4:26goals so that means when you are
4:29partnering with people at whatever level
4:32dating marriage family business
4:36Community it is
4:39important that we have common
4:42[Music]
4:44goals it is not wise for you to hang
4:47around people who don't share your
4:50values don't share your
4:52goals it's very dangerous to continue a
4:56dating process with someone who doesn't
4:59share your
5:01goals your goals are completely opposite
5:04from theirs it is impossible for a
5:08marriage to be healthy and to be strong
5:11when the two don't share the same values
5:16or even the same
5:18interest so be careful who you're
5:21plugged
5:24into because the source that you're
5:27plugged into
5:29will pour into you what's in
5:37them it doesn't matter what you possess
5:41listen to me carefully it doesn't matter
5:43what you possess you by yourself you are
5:48completely whole you you you you've got
5:51all of what God has for you you are
5:54uniquely made and created but never
5:58forget this you are also so an empty
6:01container you're an empty
6:04vessel so when you get hooked up to
6:07people they come with a source and
6:11whatever Source they may be the moment
6:14you get plugged into them you are now
6:18plugged into their goals you're plugged
6:20into their values and you're plugged in
6:23to their interest let me have the
6:26extension cord for a moment and I want
6:28to show it to you if you're moment thank

6:37simple this is
6:39you on the re the receiving
6:46end every person you get plugged
6:50into or you open up your life
6:55to every individual every person who
6:58says I'm I want to be your best
7:02friend I just want to hang out with you
7:05you know you know I feel the vibe so I I
7:08I we come from the same Community we
7:10were born in the same state you know I I
7:13I think we share the same value don't
7:16ever forget that you are just like this
7:19extension cord you are on the receiving
7:22end and therefore it is very important
7:26that the source that's going to be
7:28plugged into you you carry the same
7:32goals and share the same values and have
7:36the same interest because baby once they
7:39get plugged into you whatever is in them
7:44now it is transferred over to you would
7:48you tap your neighbor and said be
7:49careful what's been transferred to
7:55you be careful of what's been
7:58transferred to
8:01you because for every person that comes
8:05into your life whether it's
8:08dating
8:10marriage the person who you invite in
8:12your
8:13car just to give them a
8:16ride the person you invite over for
8:20Christmas the parties you go
8:23to the moment they get plugged into you
8:27you have now become one
8:33and the question I have for you this
8:36morning is simple
8:41this is the fellowship that you possess
8:44with other
8:46people positively benefiting
8:53you is
8:56it because just the same way you got
8:59plugged into them here's the struggle
9:02most of you
9:06have it's

9:19hard it's
9:21hard for
9:24you to
9:27disconnect you know it's not benefiting
9:30you you know you don't share the same
9:33goals the same values the same interest
9:37but but you you you cannot disconnect
9:41because the thing you struggle
9:46with is being
9:55alone you feel you can't make it
10:02alone but I believe that the Lord sent
10:05me here this
10:07morning to share some very important
10:10things to you because in the Christian
10:13context of
10:16Fellowship Fellowship holds a deeper
10:21spiritual
10:22significance for Believers Fellowship is
10:27the mutually Shar in of faith and love
10:33rooted in our relationship with Jesus
10:38Christ watch this for the believer
10:43Fellowship has to do with us being
10:47rooted together in Jesus Christ not
10:50rooted in one
10:53another in other words we're going to
10:55make sure whoever we get connected to
10:59those people are God
11:04sent you see this involves building
11:08meaningful
11:09relationships supporting one another
11:12spiritually and practically and growing
11:16together in faith as members of the body
11:21of Christ cuz we're
11:24one and this is where Satan has really
11:28done a number on the church yes sir he
11:32has divided
11:34us and instead of us getting plugged in
11:38with people within the body of
11:41Christ we have now gotten oursel
11:45connected with people who have a form of
11:51godliness but possess no power oh
11:54somebody ought to give God a praise
11:56right there
12:00so let me talk to you a little bit about
12:02some of the foundations of our
12:05fellowship if we're talking about
12:07Fellowship the importance of it and the
12:10power of it I want to share with you the
12:14foundations of Fellowship here uh uh key
12:19elements that form the foundation of our
12:24fellowship number one we are
12:27united in Christ
12:30we are united in Christ say it with me
12:34we
12:35are come on say one more time we are
12:39united in CHR that simply means our
12:41fellowship is grounded it's grounded in
12:44our shared relationship with
12:48Jesus in Christ there is no
12:52division based on
12:55race status or background
12:59We Are All One according to Galatians 3
13:04beginning at verse 26 let's go there for
13:06a moment it says so in Christ Jesus you
13:12are all
13:14children of God through
13:18faith in Christ Jesus we are all
13:21children of God through faith for all of
13:26you who were baptized into Christ
13:29have clothed
13:31yourself with
13:33Christ the old is gone that spiritual
13:38garment that you're wearing is no longer
13:41your own thoughts it's no longer the
13:43influence of the world the patterns of
13:45the world you are now in Christ and Paul
13:49is saying for all of you were
13:52baptized you are baptized into the
13:56fellowship of Jesus Christ verse 2 8
14:00there is neither Jew nor Gentile neither
14:04slave nor free nor is there male or
14:08female for you are all one in Christ
14:13Jesus oh I wish somebody would give God
14:16a praise right
14:19there you are all one in Christ Jesus
14:25that's according to the text we just
14:27read it let's look at it again verse 28
14:29it says there is neither Jew nor Gentile
14:33neither slave nor free nor there is male
14:36or female for you are all one in Christ
14:44Jesus what has disconnected us as a
14:47group of people is we don't see each
14:49other based on Paul perception of who we
14:53are Paul says when we are in Christ when
14:58Christ when Christ covers us when we're
15:02all in him Paul says we don't see racial
15:08barriers we we don't see Jew or Gentiles
15:11we don't see slave nor a free person we
15:15don't see even male and female for We
15:19Are
15:20One in
15:22Christ we're
15:25one but for us as a people the way we
15:29see us or the people the children of God
15:34we see them based on
15:38physical
15:40appearance do me a favor could they

19:47people but Paul
19:50says that when it comes to the kingdom
19:53of
19:54God we don't see who is Jew or Gentile
20:00black or white male or female Paul says
20:05we're just
20:10one we are just

20:14one if the Church of the Lord Jesus
20:16Christ would really preach this and
20:19embrace it we would not be having
20:21churches around America just filled with
20:24white people alone or just filled with
20:27black people alone we need to stop that
20:30Madness We Are One it doesn't matter how
20:33much money you have it doesn't matter
20:36how dark your skin is or light your skin
20:39is it doesn't matter what status you
20:41have in life you are not better than me
20:44I'm not better than you we are
20:48one tap your neighbor and say we are one
20:55one as a child of God that's our respon
21:00responsibility and we want this church
21:02to be known as the church where people
21:05go this is not a black church a white
21:07church a Hispanic church we welcome
21:11everybody no matter who you are cuz we
21:14are one somebody shouted I'm
21:20one we're
21:23one and all what Paul was trying to say

22:47of God but when it comes to
22:51God the blood that Jesus
22:56shed for all of us
22:59hold hold one end what his blood
23:04did it hid all of our
23:08differences hold it hold it up hold it

23:13up and because of his blood because we
23:18are one in Christ Jesus no matter who
23:22enters the Covenant of God whoever comes
23:26into the kingdom of God I don't care how
23:29much money you have you ain't no better
23:32than nobody I don't care if you think
23:34your skin is lighter than mine when
23:37you're under the blood baby you are not
23:40different from me I don't care if you
23:42were born in the Caribbean or in America
23:45we are all one under the Blood Stained
23:49Banner of Jesus Christ and somebody
23:52ought to give God a praise in this house

24:14foundation and our fellowship is
24:17encouragement and and support that
24:20brings
24:22strength encouragement and support
24:25brings strength you see God calls
24:29us to encourage one another and to use
24:35all of our gifts to serve one another
24:38our influence and our power are
24:43multiplied when we walk in
24:47unity you'll be
24:50shocked that what we could do as a
24:54people when instead of working
24:57independently of each
24:59other if we ever stay in the Covenant of
25:05God you'll be shocked at the things that
25:08you can do 1 Peter 8 excuse me 1 Peter
25:134:8 it says most important of all
25:17continue it says here continue to show
25:20deep love for each other for love
25:24covers covers can I have the sheet again
25:27please love covers it covers it covers
25:32you see cuz we have a problem in the
25:34church today is that when people and I
25:37know I understand how you feel well you
25:39know of course when you're a Christian
25:41you ought to live righteous and holy I
25:43believe in that 100% but you see we have
25:46a tendency in the body of Christ
25:48especially the word of faith Pentecostal
25:49churches we have a we have a tendency we
25:52walk around and we are more interested
25:54in to expose sin than to come cover it
25:59and I know that don't go well with many
26:01of you why are we going to cover sin we
26:02got to expose sin behold your sins will
26:05find you out you forget the whole
26:07message of the Gospel the message of the
26:09Gospel is not to catch us doing wrong it
26:12is to correct us when we are doing wrong
26:15and give us an opportunity to be
26:18right that's the purpose of the
26:21Gospel so when the word of God says for
26:24love covers a multitude of sin
26:29all of us walked in here this morning
26:30there's some issues there some stuff we
26:32did this week look at NE talking about
26:35you
26:37now there are some things we did this
26:41week consciously and
26:44unconsciously that was not pleasing to
26:47God but when you come in
26:51Christ verse 8 says most important of
26:55all continue to show deep love the more
26:59we love in our
27:01fellowship it's the easier it is to
27:05cover people in their
27:08wrong but you see when we hate each
27:11other we then strive to see who is
27:13better than who who is more righteous
27:16than who but when we operate in love is
27:20all of us will walk around with the
27:22Forgiveness that we got we are covered
27:26so thank God he covered me and with that
27:29same Grace you take it and you say you
27:31covered
27:34too you covered
27:36too I got you covered I'm not going to
27:39judge you glory to God because it's
27:42because of his grace and his Mercy he
27:44kept me he forgave me and he's walking
27:48around just saying I got you covered I
27:51love you I cover you I'm not going to
27:55criticize you and dog you out wish we
27:58had a red seiling all over this building
28:01and just have you just throw it and
28:03cover
28:05people cover
28:08people just tell somebody I got you
28:10covered in love I got you covered in
28:13love I'm not going to criticize you I

28:26C the Third
28:28Foundation of our
28:30fellowship has to do with shared worship
28:34and prayer because Fellowship involves
28:37watch this the Gathering
28:40Together of ourselves for worship prayer
28:44and receiving God's word just like what
28:45we're doing now that's why you ought to
28:48be very careful when the enemy comes
28:50into your life and he makes you think
28:53that church is not important the coming
28:56of ourselves together
28:59cuz he will mess with your
29:01emotions he will let you pull the Blood
29:04Stained Banner away and don't see every
29:08one of us as one he let you see how they
29:12hurt you or this happened to you and
29:15give you a reason I ain't going to
29:16church I don't like the preacher I don't
29:19like this I don't like the praise team I
29:21don't like that and he'll put all kinds
29:23of stuff in your ears but I'm telling
29:26you you've got to come to together for
29:29worship and prayer early Believers
29:32devoted themselves according to the
29:33Bible as is recorded in Acts 2 verse 42
29:37the Bible says they devoted themselves
29:40to the apostles
29:42teaching and to Fellowship to the
29:46breaking of bread and to
29:50pray
29:52wow the fellowship was so
29:56good that they came came together for
29:59worship for prayer and breaking of
30:04bread we have even lost that in our
30:06society
30:08today we don't even understand that
30:10family dining together it's a spiritual
30:18act when the family gets around the
30:21table and bless what God has
30:24provided and the family can put the
30:26phone away
30:28have the children talk and you talk to
30:30your spouse and you know children talk
30:32to their parents and just sit with all
30:35the hours that you given in every week
30:38at least one day should be set aside
30:41even in the Jewish custom today they
30:44practice that but oh no we are so
30:49busy that all six of you could be in the
30:53house and everybody cooking their own
30:56food everybody dis out their own food
30:59and two in the den and one upstairs one
31:02in the backyard and everybody just
31:05eating their own

31:10meal well I don't want to go to church I
31:13can do church here and everybody decided
31:16how they want to spread the table the
31:18Bible says he spreads the table before
31:21you in the presence of your enemy it is
31:24not you who prepare the table God
31:27prepares the table you just need to show

31:35up just show up finally number
31:39four the four fourth element that forms
31:45Fellowship is living out love in spite
31:48of
31:50challenges so in the face of uncertainty
31:53fear and
31:55betrayal Love Remains the the
31:58unbreakable Bond of
32:00Fellowship that in spite of the
32:04uncertainty of can I trust people in
32:08spite of the
32:10uncertainty should I really devote
32:12myself to this ministry should I trust
32:15these pastors should I trust these
32:18ministers should I is it worth it going
32:21to God's house for Fellowship is it
32:24worth it having my family together for
32:27pray prayer and for Bible study is it
32:29worth it to do the things that keeps the
32:32bond of Peace together is it worth it
32:35here is what 1 John 4:18 says there is
32:40no fear in
32:45love as long as you are fearful of what
32:49people will do to you if you open
32:54up if you break down your your
32:59walls as long as you're fearful because
33:01you've been
33:03hurt or as long as you're fearful of the
33:05uncertainty but what what what what if
33:07it doesn't go my way as long as you do
33:11that the Bible says that you will never
33:15experience
33:16fellowship and love because there is no
33:19fear in love but perfect love it didn't
33:23say love because we've we have in
33:25today's society have created our own
33:27definition of what love
33:34is and I've got to tell you this it's is
33:36going to shock a lot of you right
33:40now
33:42love has nothing to
33:46do with the
33:48person giving you everything you desire
33:58that's not
34:01love
34:03love cannot be
34:07manifested in
34:12[Applause]
34:15Perfection oh I love him I love her why
34:19do you love them oh they just give me
34:21everything I've asked
34:24for
34:26oh one carrot gold a diamond I got it oh
34:32they bought me a car oh they gave me a
34:36house oh they gave me this wonderful
34:39wedding that's
34:41love no you want to prove
34:45love how do you treat the person when
34:48you don't get what you
34:50[Applause]
34:55want how do you react
34:59when you get ticked
35:04off when they get on your last
35:09nerve because love in order for it to be
35:13at its best don't ever forget this in
35:16order for love to be at its best it has
35:20to be
35:26tested you to get tested and then you
35:29have to now choose will I operate in
35:33love or will I Opera in fear 1 Peter 4:8
35:38it says above all love each other
35:43deeply
35:44because love covers dealt with that
35:49multitude of sin so love walks around
35:52and it doesn't look for moments to say
35:56ah got you why did you do
35:59that it walks around looking for
36:02opportunity to say h don't like it but I
36:08love
36:10you you kick me
36:13off but I love
36:16you I'm going to forgive
36:18you cuz I love
36:21you glory to God I want to kill you
36:29can we got some real people up in this
36:31church but I love
36:33you that's what love does so here's what
36:38we need to do to stay connected to the
36:41Community of Faith the cords that tie us
36:46together as a faith community are
36:49essential for spiritual growth and
36:53encouragement you cannot live outside
36:55the boundaries of your faith and expect
36:57to experience the blessings of God's
37:00kingdom Satan knows the power of
37:03fellowship and will use schemes to
37:06isolate you from The Community of Faith
37:10even when you watch this you're
37:12physically
37:14present even when you're physically
37:17present Satan will use isolation he'll
37:21make you
37:23feel that nobody cares for you
37:27he'll make you feel like God has
37:29abandoned you and you don't need him and
37:31you have every reason to walk away from
37:34the
37:36faith just because you're in the church
37:39and you're attending church doesn't mean
37:42you're connected to God because
37:44proximity is not the same as
37:49[Applause]
37:51connection just because you're close to
37:54God and his people doesn't mean
37:58that you're close to God please send out
38:01the gentlemen I want to demonstrate this
38:02and I'm going to wrap this up
38:04quickly just
38:06because you say I love
38:09God and let's use him as
38:13God just because like you're in church
38:16well I'm at the Faith Center I'm
38:18streaming don't mean you're connected to
38:23God doesn't mean you're connected to God
38:25just because you come close to
38:29God and every now and then you do a
38:32little bit of prayer when you're in need
38:33of him don't mean that you're connected
38:36to
38:39God because proximi simply don't relate
38:44or
38:45translate to
38:48connection so what are you going to do
38:50this
38:51morning as the holy spirit is speaking
38:54to you about your status Where You Are
38:57are with God because Jesus Christ is the
39:01foundation of our fellowship don't ever
39:03forget that as long as we keep him as
39:06the core Central person to our life and
39:09everything that we do no matter what we
39:12go through we're going to be all right
39:15whatever you do stay connected to God
39:19not close to him stay connected to
39:24God stay connected to him because once
39:28you stay connected to him I promise you
39:30no matter how far you feel or how broken
39:35you think you
39:37are you're still a part of the faith
39:40community you are still a part of the
39:42faith
39:44community so never let your
39:49insecurities never let
39:52criticisms and the schemes of the
39:55devil disconnect you from
39:59God I want to end it
40:02with just three people in the
40:05Bible three Heroes of the faith I call
40:08them who stay
40:12connected oh they've been through a
40:15whole lot
40:17themselves but they
40:19stayed
40:22connected no matter
40:25what canel would you come here can
40:30now they stay
40:35connected the first person I'd like to

40:38up is a
40:41guy we are all familiar
40:45with we're all familiar with
40:49him it's a guy by the name of
40:54Moses despite being
40:59abandoned raised in a foreign
41:04culture and facing rejection and
41:07Rebellion from his own people Moses
41:10remained faithful to God's
41:12calling to lead
41:18Israel are you
41:21willing lift your hands
41:24up are you willing to allow the Holy
41:30Spirit to take full control over your
41:36life that like Moses your own people
41:41betrayed
41:43you your own
41:47people did you dirt
41:51Unfaithful you almost lost your
41:55way because
41:58you went all the way out for your
42:03family cuz sometimes the people you help
42:06the most is the same people turn around
42:13in but Moses stayed
42:16faithful even with a speech impediment

42:24faithful he didn't abandon his call
42:28he didn't disfellowship himself and said
42:31I'm not going to lead this bunch of
42:33Hypocrites like us oh I'm not going to
42:36go to church I don't want to deal with
42:38church no more there's bunch of

42:43right to disqualify God's
42:49people but to the

43:44Jacob was on his way back to his
43:47family he and his his wives and his
43:52children and on the way he got news that
43:55his brother Esau
43:58was out to get him to kill
44:00him and Jacob came with everything he
44:03could possibly think of to bribe his
44:07brother to make peace with him Jacob
44:10bought so many animals and sent it ahead
44:13of him and said go give it to my brother
44:15maybe this will be something that will
44:17calm him down just just let him chill
44:21because I I I don't want any war that
44:23listen to me there are some people I
44:25don't care what you do I don't care what
44:27you give them they are so bitter in
44:29their hearts against
44:32you you cannot buy their
44:38love and so Jacob one night the Bible
44:41said he sent his family away and he was
44:44alone with God and I love this that's
44:48how some of you feel this morning he was
44:51alone with God or himself first of all
44:55God didn't come into the picture yet
44:57he was
44:59alone but God entered the room in the
45:02form of a man which was an
45:06angel and what I love about this man

46:02tune he knew that there was something

46:06man who passed him by and the Bible said
46:10Jacob grab a hold of the

46:28the Bible said that Jacob held on to the
46:30man and the angel wrestled with Jacob
46:35all night long because the angel wanted
46:39Jacob to let him go and Jacob said no
46:42I'm not going to let you go they wrestle
46:45is there anybody who's been fighting
46:48with God for years God heal my baby God
46:52heal my relationship God heal my body
46:56God get me out of this financial poverty
46:59that I'm in and you're wrestling all
47:02night long and the Bible says they
47:05wrestled until
47:09Daybreak and can you imagine a human
47:13being is wrestling with the
47:17spirit controlling the
47:20spirit and the Bible
47:23says that at Daybreak
47:27the angel got
47:32tired because of Jacob's
47:36persistency to the point the only
47:40way Jacob let go of the
47:44Angel the Bible says the
47:47angel
47:49dislocated his

47:55that you're going after
47:58stuff and you're holding on to God and
48:01you're walking in faith and with your
48:04faith God disconnects some things out of
48:08your
48:10life so you're walking around in life
48:15limping but you're still not giving up
48:19was praying for a breakthrough you
48:21didn't get it but I'm not going to give
48:24up praying for a wife praying for a
48:27husband it ain't happened yet you're
48:30liing but I'm not going to give up God I
48:33want you to touch my grandbabies I want
48:36you to touch my children you're limping
48:39I know they're laughing at you I know
48:41they're saying what's wrong with you but
48:44I've been fasting a long time I've been
48:46praying for years and I know I'm limping
48:50but I'm not going to let go until God

49:14joint and
49:17finally the angel said to him what's

49:36life I know things are not okay with you
49:39yet I know everything is not right with
49:41you but I prophesy to you today that God
49:45is asking you your name and the reason
49:47why he's asking you your name because
49:49he's about to change your
49:52name oh look at somebody and tell them
49:55God's about to change
49:57some things in your life God's about to
50:01change some things in your life are you
50:04hearing me this
50:09morning and the angel said to him from

50:13on your name will not be known as

50:19Israel why because you are fighting with
50:23God and
50:25humans you're fight in with people on
50:27the planet and you're arguing with God

50:34heaven what's going on in my life God I

51:35person who of interest for me is this

51:44woman is interesting to me because this
51:49woman was wealthy had everything going
51:53for her but there was one thing that was
51:56la in her life she didn't have children
52:00Jesus have you ever been in a season in
52:02your life where you got

52:07except one

52:12thing but she heard that the man of
52:16God was coming to
52:18town and because God blessed her
52:22financially she decided you know what no
52:25yes sir if the prophet is coming through

52:34comfortable so that when he passed
52:36through town to preach he doesn't have
52:39to stay at a hotel he can stay right in
52:43my house well she opened up listen

60:45life I don't know how much resources you
60:49need from God especially in this season
60:52but can I tell you I know what he told

61:03houses and listen to me especially young
61:07people listen to me not only is he going
61:10to visit your house but when Elisha went
61:14into the house laid on top of the Dead
61:19child the Bible says he literally
61:23breathed over that God's about to
