Summary
A panel of experienced leaders shares practical and spiritual insights on how to effectively guide children and adults through the process of receiving the Holy Ghost, emphasizing repentance, faith, and the importance of a distraction-free environment.
Key points
- •Effective altar ministry begins with practical preparation, such as maintaining personal hygiene and approaching others with a gentle, non-intimidating demeanor.
- •Repentance is the essential first step to receiving the Holy Ghost, as it cleanses the heart to become a dwelling place for God's Spirit.
- •Altar workers should act as 'coaches' who encourage seekers to use their own voices in worship, rather than using physical manipulation or loud, distracting behavior.
- •The environment for revival is built through collective unity (one accord) and a spiritual atmosphere where expressive worship is modeled throughout the service.
- •Receiving the Holy Ghost is a partnership between God's gift and the believer's faith-filled participation, specifically through opening one's mouth to speak as the Spirit gives utterance.

This week, practice 'spiritual EQ' by being sensitive to the needs of those around you. Whether at church or in daily life, look for opportunities to encourage someone's faith with a gentle spirit and a prayerful heart, trusting that God is the one who does the work.
Reflection questions
- How can I better prepare myself physically and spiritually to be a less distracting and more helpful presence during altar calls?
- In what ways can I practice 'one accord' with my church family to help create an atmosphere where guests feel safe to seek God?
- Am I relying on my own intensity during prayer, or am I truly trusting in the power of the Holy Ghost to provide the utterance?
- How can I improve my follow-up with those who have had a spiritual breakthrough or those who are still seeking?

0:00doing that. And we I am excited. I I
0:00just felt very strong about this night.
0:01Uh we are going to talk about uh
0:04receiving the Holy Ghost and how to work
0:08with people to receive the Holy Ghost.
0:10And I'm telling you tonight, if you've
0:12never received the gift, the Acts 2
0:15experience gift of the Holy Ghost, you
0:18can get it tonight.
0:20>> Amen.
0:21>> Amen.
0:22>> I tell people all the time, God wants
0:25you to have it more than you want it.
0:28>> Amen.
0:28>> So, it's not up to him, it's up to you.
0:32Do you really want it? Amen. And so, we
0:36are excited about uh our panel here
0:39tonight. They're going to talk to us and
0:41then we're going to give opportunity for
0:43God to move and uh the things that we're
0:46going to do at the very end. So, we are
0:49going to start off with children's
0:51ministry tonight and then we're just
0:53going to go right down the line.
0:56>> All right.
0:58Well, we're going to jump right into
1:00this. Okay. So, with kids, um some
1:04people get intimidated with kids, but I
1:06think they're pretty awesome. And um the
1:09adults scare me a whole lot more than
1:10kids do. But um so we have a they gave
1:14us a list of questions. So I'm just
1:16going to work through some of these
1:17questions that they gave us. Um and our
1:19f my first question is when someone
1:21comes to the altar or a kid comes to the
1:23altar wanting to receive the Holy Ghost,
1:25where do we start? Um the very first
1:28thing that I really try to always start
1:30with is a mint. Um kids will humble you
1:34very fast. They do not care what you're
1:36saying, what what spirit you're in in
1:38the moment, none of that. They will stop
1:40and tell you your breast stinks. So, um
1:42we're going to start with the men. So,
1:44first things
1:46um um and then after that um so what we
1:50typically do or what I typically tell um
1:53my team is that we really want to get on
1:54their level and um we're going to talk
1:57to them and initially if you do not know
2:00this child um you want to introduce
2:03yourself and I always use my first name
2:06um I say I'm Bridget and I ask them
2:08their name and um and then I'll ask if
2:11if they have anything they want to pray
2:12for And a lot of times they'll have
2:14something or sometimes they don't have
2:17anything. And if we get to that point
2:18where they don't have anything that they
2:20want to pray for, um I'll go through our
2:22four steps of worship and um we really
2:26hammer that in um in all aspects of Kids
2:28Rock and any of our lessons that we do.
2:31So the kids are very familiar with that.
2:33But if they're not, um, we just start
2:36right there. And, um, so I'll ask them
2:39to close their eyes and, um, and that's
2:41just because we're all nosy. And, um, so
2:44that way that we can focus. And then
2:46we'll ask them to, we want to to lift
2:48their head up because we're not ashamed.
2:50We're not ashamed of anything that God
2:52has done for us. Um, and he wants to see
2:54our beautiful face. So, we're going to
2:56lift our head up. And, and then the
2:58third part of that is we're going to
3:00raise our hands. And I try to explain it
3:02as um if your mom is coming and you
3:05really want them to pick you up or
3:07you're going to run to them and you want
3:09to hug, that's the first thing you're
3:10going to do is outstretch your hands.
3:12And so that's what we want to do is
3:14we're going to write raise our hands
3:15towards God.
3:17And the fourth thing is which they
3:19always really like is we get to use our
3:21playground voice. It's our one
3:23opportunity they get to use their
3:25playground voice in church. Um, and
3:28that's not yelling or screaming, but
3:30that is we get to use our voice out loud
3:32and talk to God. Um, so some key things
3:36through this is we try to be very
3:39intentional about not touching the kids.
3:42Um, not to hold their arms up or not to
3:45just, you know, touch them anywhere
3:47really on their bodies. Um, and the only
3:50time I ever do that is if I'm extremely
3:52familiar with them and um, or if I
3:55really God is really telling me to touch
3:57them. Um, we are just in this day and
3:59age where we have to be very careful and
4:02kids are taught a lot about good touch,
4:04bad touch, and so we want to make sure
4:07that we're giving them that space and
4:10protecting everybody.
4:12Um, another thing about praying with
4:14kids is when you're there and you can
4:17say you're your coach. That was another
4:19one of our questions is what is our role
4:20when we're praying with them. And um I
4:23would say that you are coaching them
4:25through um this process. You're going to
4:27be there and you're helping them. Um
4:30you're learning to talk to God. And um
4:34part of it is you need very little
4:36emotion when you're with the kids. You
4:38want to have a quiet voice. Most of them
4:40do not like you screaming. Most of them,
4:42you don't need to be yelling or speaking
4:44in tongues in their face extremely loud.
4:46Um, no shaking them, no spitting at
4:48them. You know, it's it's true.
4:52>> But, you know, it's like you want little
4:54emotion and I mean, we're just literally
4:56having a conversation and the kids are
4:58very practical in that way. Um, so
5:01there's you don't have to build things
5:02up. Um,
5:05okay. Um, another one of my questions
5:07was, "How important is repentance before
5:10we begin encouraging someone to really
5:12receive the Holy Ghost?" Um, I believe
5:15this is one of the most important things
5:18that we can do or have to do. Um, God
5:22cannot come into our hearts if it's
5:24dirty.
5:26And so, the first thing we have to do is
5:28we have to clean out our hearts. And um,
5:31and we lead them through that prayer.
5:34And we tell them that we're just asking
5:36God for forgiveness. And um and it can
5:39be as generic as that or when they're
5:41talking and they're sitting we're
5:42sitting there, we're praying together um
5:44if something comes to your mind, you
5:46just say that. You say, "If I told
5:48something that was untrue today and you
5:49just give that to God, you say it to
5:51him." And that's as simple as it has to
5:53be. But we have to clean out our hearts
5:55before God can come in.
6:00Okay. So, this says, um, after someone
6:03receives the gift of the Holy Ghost, I'm
6:05gonna skip that for a second. I'm sorry.
6:07Oh, I'm still good. What do you do when
6:10someone is genuinely praying but seems
6:13stuck? So, one thing with kids is um
6:18they do have very short intention spans.
6:21So, you do have to be conscientious of
6:24that. Um, and I'm not don't want a kid
6:27to just sit there and travail and
6:28travail or cry and cry for a extremely
6:31long period of time. I don't want them
6:33to leave discouraged or to think that
6:35that is their experience every time
6:37they're going to come to an altar is,
6:39you know, let down basically. And so,
6:43um, you have to use some wisdom and, um,
6:46and God will lead you in those moments.
6:49I do believe though um when that
6:52stambering lips are the first sign of um
6:56the Holy Ghost coming on a child or
6:59anybody for sake. Um but when they get
7:02stuck there um we just try to encourage
7:05them to keep moving their mouth that God
7:07is really touching you that um but you
7:09have to continue to use your voice.
7:11They'll they will get stuck with just
7:13stammering lips and that is the initial
7:15sign of the Holy Ghost. But we do need
7:17them to connect and dig deeper and go a
7:19little bit farther.
7:22Um, two syllables is all it takes.
7:25I tell the kids a lot that a baby does
7:27not come out saying mama. They don't
7:30come out saying full sentences. They
7:31don't. We sit there and they practice
7:33and they practice. And I'm not going to
7:35discourage any kid that they say two
7:38words that they didn't know. And um that
7:40that's not the Holy Ghost. It's a that
7:42develops that language is going to
7:44develop in them. And I do encourage that
7:46with them a lot.
7:48Um, when we're praying with them, um,
7:52and I know and I see and other people
7:54around, we see them speaking in
7:55tonesues. Um, in their ear, right? Then
7:59you say, "Are you speaking in tongues?"
8:01You can question them right then and ask
8:03them to nod their head or shake their
8:04head no. And if they nod their head yes,
8:07then yes, we're, you know, they are
8:09acknowledging they know what's going on.
8:11But if they, you know, say no, but
8:13you're sitting there and you're knowing
8:15that they are speaking in tongues. Um,
8:18we ask them, do you normally talk this
8:22way? Um, do you is this how you talk
8:24when you're at school? Um, and and just
8:27start to question a little bit and then
8:28they'll start to realize this is the
8:30Holy Ghost. This is not just me. This is
8:33not just um, you know, basically the
8:36devil trying to um, trick them or you
8:40know um
8:42get them down where they don't um think
8:44that you know acknowledge or get
8:46discouraged. Um
8:49I think it is important to question them
8:51and that they know what is happening
8:53with them. Um and at the end when you're
8:55done praying I think it's extremely
8:57important to ask them again, do you know
8:59what just happened? And we're going to
9:01reaffirm that experience that just
9:03happened with them. Um because I don't
9:06want any later doubts always going to
9:08creep in because that's just how the
9:09devil works. Um, I don't I don't want
9:12there to be any doubt in their mind. I
9:13want them to know that God touched them,
9:15that God filled them, and um that they
9:19do have the Holy Ghost.
9:25>> Okay, I think that's is that a good
9:27start? [laughter]
9:30>> Great job. Great job.
9:34>> You literally said everything I wanted
9:36to say. So, I appreciate you, Sister
9:38Bridget. But um wonderful, wonderful
9:40job. So man, that was just fantastic.
9:45And um as we progress through this, I'm
9:49going to come from a very practical
9:51standpoint because I I'm practical. Um
9:54so a lot of things that you probably
9:56already know, and there's probably a lot
9:57of folks in the room that enjoy working
9:59the altar, and we got a lot of uh
10:01experience, but maybe maybe not. So this
10:03kind of the whole objective uh to this
10:05is to kind of take the smoke out of the
10:07room as far as uh what altter working
10:09looks like and the simplicity of it. The
10:12good news I think all of us would agree
10:13that none of us can give anybody the
10:15Holy Ghost,
10:16>> right? If we could then man this world
10:19would always be in revival because we
10:20would be just giving it away like candy.
10:22So it's up to the Lord to give the Holy
10:24Ghost. Um and that's kind of where I'm
10:26going to go uh in just a little bit of
10:28time here. And go ahead and reset that
10:30timer for me. Um,
10:33yeah, I don't play.
10:36>> I'm already eight minutes in.
10:39So, I'm going to be talking about
10:40creating the right environment for altar
10:43ministry.
10:44So, in Acts 2 and one, we're all
10:46familiar with this passage of scripture.
10:48It says, "When the day of Pentecost was
10:49fully come, they're all uh with one
10:51accord in one place." So, when we think
10:54about Acts 2, we all immediately think
10:56about the outpouring of the Holy Ghost.
10:57How awesome that was. But before we get
11:00to the rushing uh mighty winds and them
11:02speaking with other tongues, scripture
11:05tells us something very important about
11:06the people in the room, it says they
11:09were all with one accord in one place.
11:12So we understand that there was unity,
11:14there was common purpose, and their
11:16attention was all directed towards the
11:18same thing. So I believe there are
11:21principles there for us when we're
11:23working uh the altar because the
11:25environment matters. This little stretch
11:28of carpet here is that environment of
11:29the altar I'm describing. So, our job is
11:32not trying to manufacture uh and
11:35experience or create the presence of
11:37God. He does all that by himself. He
11:38doesn't need us for that. But we do have
11:40a responsibility as alter workers to
11:42make sure that we aren't doing things
11:44that seem or that become a distraction
11:46to someone who is trying to have an
11:49encounter with God and perhaps for the
11:50very first time. Paul gives us another
11:54example of this in 1 Corinthians 12 or
11:5714:26. He says, "Let all things be done
11:59unto edifying." So when I'm working the
12:02altar, again, this is just me talking
12:04about working also
12:07about some of those things. The very
12:09first thing is engaging uh the per the
12:12person. So before immediately laying
12:15before immediately laying a hand on
12:16someone and beginning to pray, I try to
12:18be engaging uh to the to the individual.
12:21I like to do it pre-ervice. I think
12:24pre-ervice um engagement or during
12:26service engagement is best for me. And
12:29you'll see me walking around engaging
12:31folks because I don't know if I'm going
12:33to meet them again at the altar and I've
12:35already taken the smoke out of the room
12:37as far as who I am. Make sense? So
12:41because we are because we're not only
12:43working in altar, we are also
12:45ministering to the person to the
12:47individual. So introduce yourself if
12:49appropriate. Ask their name. Ask them
12:51the a very simple question. What can I
12:53help you pray for today? So, just
12:57because they're here or at the altar, we
12:59shouldn't assume that they're looking
13:00for the Holy Ghost. They could be asking
13:02for a healing or they could be wanting
13:04to pray for a family situation or some
13:06or the burden or maybe they just walked
13:08up here because the guy speaking said,
13:10"Everybody come to the altar." Right?
13:13So, we want to ask the questions, what
13:14can I help you pray for? uh today we're
13:18not simply doing something uh to them.
13:21We're trying to work out ways to
13:23minister alongside them. So the ne very
13:26next thing I would for myself is to be
13:28aware of yourself. Uh Sister M Bridget,
13:31sister Sister Carter already mentioned
13:32this. Um as we're ministering in uh
13:36close proximity to someone, you're yes,
13:39your breath does matter.
13:41And I think all of us feel better
13:43knowing that our my breath smells good.
13:46I don't think anybody wants to think,
13:47man, does my breath stink, right? So
13:50your breath your breath matters. So
13:52carrying around some some yes mints or
13:54the the lististerine sprays, all that
13:56stuff is cool. Not only is it to help
13:58the person, but it gives you a little
14:00bit more confidence that that coffee is
14:02not battling or the onion sandwich you
14:04had on the way to church.
14:07All right. So personal hygiene also
14:11matters. So we want to be mindful of
14:12heavy perfumes or colog especially if
14:15when we're praying with someone in that
14:17close face to face uh proximity. Uh
14:21another thing to to note um is being
14:23aware of ourselves is is your volume
14:25matters. We don't have to yell in in
14:28folks ear uh for God to hear us. Uh we
14:32can pray or for them to hear us for that
14:33matter. We can pray passionately and
14:35fervently without overwhelming the
14:37person with prayers. You've all been in
14:39a room where someone was just praying
14:41and you just got interested in what they
14:43were praying about because it was just
14:44loud.
14:45>> Amen.
14:47>> So, um we got to be aware of our volume.
14:50Another thing uh with our proximity and
14:52your touch uh matters. So, we have to
14:55respect personal space. I don't like
14:58close talkers by nature. It's a social
15:01cue for me. So we want to be aware of
15:02how is this person receiving this close
15:05to close uh dialogue um in our personal
15:09space. So we want to be mindful of and
15:11be aware of someone else's uh cues about
15:13personal space. So a physical touch is
15:18appreciated or welcome keeping in mind
15:20that men it's a good idea to pray with
15:22other dudes. Ladies is a good idea to
15:24pray with other ladies. However, if
15:26there are scenarios, again this is me
15:27talking. If there's scenarios where
15:29there's no where there's a young lady uh
15:32seeking or praying, I may engage that
15:34opportunity, but I'm looking for Sister
15:37Cole or I'm looking for another young
15:39lady nearby that can kind of step in,
15:41especially if uh there's an anticipated
15:43close proximity conversation. I don't
15:45want to make that young lady feel
15:47uncomfortable and no do I nor do I want
15:49a problem back at the house.
15:52>> Right? So again, just practical
15:55>> practical things. um uh in this close uh
15:58close encounter. So remembering our
16:00touch if appropriate should be uh gentle
16:03uh and respectful. We don't ever need to
16:05uh to push uh pull you joke with shaking
16:09them shaking them or any physical
16:11manipulation. The less touch is better.
16:14The less touch is better. We can say
16:17things like would you like to raise your
16:19hand versus raising their hands for
16:21them. doing so without permission. You
16:24let the least amount of touch sometimes
16:26is better. So while you're praying for
16:28someone, your demeanor matters. We
16:30should always be positive. We should be
16:33encouraging. Uh we should be patient
16:35with them and also full of faith in
16:37during uh this moment or this encounter
16:40with God that they're experiencing. If
16:42someone isn't responding the way that
16:43you perhaps should would expect them to,
16:46don't allow that frustration uh to show
16:48on your face. It's like, man, this guy
16:50should have got the Holy Ghost by now.
16:52What am I? What's going on? We've all
16:53been there, right? So, we shouldn't let
16:55that show on our face. So, our our
16:57voice, our body language, all those
16:59things, our attention to that individual
17:02matters in that moment. So, when we're
17:04ministering to someone, be present with
17:06that person. So, all these practical
17:09things come back to that simple
17:10principle I go back to. I don't want to
17:11do any I don't want anything about me to
17:14become a distraction for what God is
17:16wanting to do in someone else's life.
17:18All
17:19right. So, the third thing, I know you
17:21guys are writing notes. The third thing,
17:22you're not writing notes. The third
17:24thing is protecting the the atmosphere.
17:27So, if we go back to Acts two and it
17:29says that we were all in one accord,
17:31those of us working in the altar, we
17:33need to continue, not that we're not,
17:35but continue to work together in those
17:37moments. If someone is already
17:39effectively ministering to an
17:41individual, I don't necessarily see the
17:43need to step in and start giving another
17:45set of instructions.
17:47>> It's working. It's it's working. You can
17:49maybe hover. You can exhort, you know,
17:51out loud. You can speak in tongues or
17:53pray, you know, out loud and kind of
17:55support the individual ministering. All
17:57those things are important. You remember
17:59the old adage when someone is is
18:02praying. I'm going over my time.
18:03Someone's praying and someone's saying
18:04let go and the other one's saying hold
18:06on. We want to work together as we work
18:09the altar. I'll wrap this thing up. Um
18:11so as our prayers should be uplifting,
18:13our word should be encouraging. Uh we
18:15should pay attention to what other wa
18:16other altar workers are doing. Learn I
18:18learned from brother Cole, learned from
18:20from brother Olsen. I've learned from
18:21brother uh sister Bonia. You know pay
18:23attention how are other alter workers
18:25doing it? And I want to learn how to do
18:26that because sometimes the best things I
18:28can do to support the person who is
18:30already connected with that seeker
18:32rather than trying to take over. Amen.
18:36Um so again there should always be that
18:38reverence around the altar when someone
18:39is seeking the Holy Ghost. casual
18:41conversation, joking, horse playing, all
18:43those things should be avoided while
18:45we're working working the altar. Um, uh,
18:48this may be, and I'll close with this,
18:50this may be, um, another church service
18:52for me, but this could be a
18:55life-changing moment for the person
18:56that's standing beside me. So, work on
18:58the altar is very, very important.
19:00That's all I got.
19:06>> Uh, I'm not going to take but a couple
19:08minutes. Uh, sister Bridget and brother
19:10Tim already have basically covered
19:13everything that I want I really want to
19:15say, but there are two things important
19:16things that I noticed over the years uh
19:20of someone receiving the gift of the
19:22Holy Ghost. And there's two things that
19:23really uh it takes number one is
19:26repentance. [clears throat] That's the
19:27first step because what rep and Sister
19:29Bridget talked about that what
19:31repentance does is open your heart for
19:34God to come in. And so you you repent.
19:37That's the first step. And the second
19:38step is faith. You got to have faith
19:41because if you don't believe that God
19:43can fill you with the Holy Ghost,
19:45>> you won't get the Holy Ghost. So you got
19:48to have faith. And and so those two
19:51things within themselves are very
19:53important. And and so what I try to do
19:55when I'm praying with someone, first of
19:57all, I always ask them, you know, do
19:59they want the Holy Ghost? And if they
20:02say yes, then I I I kind of like first
20:05of all I let them know that you got to
20:06repent of your sins. And I if they don't
20:08know how to repent, then I lead them to
20:11a prayer of repentance. I tell them to
20:14follow me my you know and after that and
20:17then the next step is I will normally uh
20:20tell them to okay after you repented if
20:23then they say they have truly repented
20:25and they genuinely repented I repented I
20:28tell them okay what we got to do the
20:29next step is for you to open your mouth.
20:32You cannot receive the Holy Ghost if
20:33your mouth is closed.
20:35>> You know the Bible says God said if you
20:37open your mouth I will fill it. So you
20:39got to you got to open your mouth. You
20:41got to praise God. You got to praise God
20:43and you got to thank God. So when you uh
20:46once you repent, your next step is say,
20:48"God, I thank you for forgiving me for
20:51my sins. I thank you, God, for your for
20:53your goodness. I I thank you, God, for
20:55your mercy. I thank you, God, for your
20:56love." And I coach people. I coach them
20:58through that if they don't know how to
20:59say that. And then, but once they start,
21:02you know, thanking God and praising God
21:04themselves, then I I I back off. I tell
21:07them, "Hey, you continue to do this. Let
21:09them do it on their own." Okay? because
21:12that way you know they're doing it not
21:14me
21:15>> because I'm not want to manufacture you
21:17know the Holy Ghost because I don't want
21:19to try to manufacture tongue but I want
21:21them to be have the faith to believe God
21:24and another another thing that I I tell
21:26people is that [clears throat]
21:28you know faith if it's just like you
21:31know when you have faith it's just like
21:33um you don't see faith and you don't
21:35feel faith but you believe faith
21:38>> hey because most of the time when you uh
21:41sit down in just like tonight. Everyone
21:43came in here and you sat down in the in
21:44the in the chair in the pew and and you
21:46didn't look under the seat, the seat was
21:48the legs there. You believe that? And so
21:51God, you know, when you ask God for
21:53anything, but then anything that's good,
21:55the Bible said, "We being evil know how
21:57to give good gifts unto each other." How
21:59much more do God want to give the Holy
22:01Ghost to them that ask him, right? So
22:05if you [snorts] ask God for the Holy
22:06Ghost, God give you the Holy Ghost. But
22:08it's a gift.
22:10It's a gift. That's and that's most time
22:13we forget that it's a gift. You don't
22:14have to work for a gift.
22:17>> A gift is to you freely.
22:19>> So what you have to do is take it. God
22:21has given it to you, but you got to take
22:23it by faith. And so what I encourage
22:25them to do, look, you got to take it by
22:27faith. You got to you got to open your
22:29mouth and you got to begin to just
22:31praise and worship God. And then
22:34sometime in your mind whatever comes to
22:35your mind other than English. If English
22:38is your first language then don't you
22:41know just don't speak English but just
22:43speak anything else other than English.
22:45If Spanish is your first language then
22:48don't speak Spanish but speak just
22:49whatever come out. It may sound like
22:51baby garbage or Bible but that's the
22:54Holy Ghost trying to push through. So
22:57you got to let go of your tongue. Don't
22:58worry about what comes out. Don't worry
23:00about how it sound because God
23:03understands every sound.
23:05>> Okay? You just gota you just got to let
23:07go. You got to speak it. And what I mean
23:09by let go is that you got to submit
23:11yourself to God. You got to submit to
23:13God. You got to submit to the the spirit
23:15of God because the B the spirit is going
23:16to give you the utterance, but you got
23:18to speak it. Okay? And so, and I'm gonna
23:21say this and then I'm going to turn over
23:22to brother Bonia.
23:24when I was in the I had a brother when I
23:26was in the Navy, a friend of mine, well
23:28I was he was in my fellowship and so one
23:31day we was praying for the Holy Ghost
23:33and I just felt led. I said, "Man, let
23:35me ask you something." I said, "Do you
23:36believe God is going to give you the
23:38Holy Ghost?" He said, "Yes, I believe
23:40that God is going to give me the Holy
23:41Ghost." I said, "Okay, what I want you
23:42to do," I said, "What I want you to do
23:45is I want you to ra I want you to lift
23:47your head. I want you to raise your hand
23:49and I want you to open your mouth." And
23:51I said, "What I want you to do by faith
23:53now." I said, "I want you to speak.
23:54Don't speak no English." I said, "But in
23:57faith, God is going to honor your
23:59faith." I said, "I just want you to
24:00speak anything other than English." And
24:02this brother lifted his head and opened
24:04his hand out. And then he opened his
24:06mouth. He begin to speak anything. And
24:08then the Holy Ghost took over
24:10>> because that was faith. So faith and
24:12repentance
24:13>> is two things that are very important in
24:15getting the Holy Ghost. Brother Bon.
24:19>> Amen.
24:21That's powerful. I believe we've uh um
24:24there's a lot of good points that have
24:26been already tonight. Um I've had the
24:29privilege to uh preach some and and ask
24:33um or just you know evangelize and by
24:36definition or Pentecostal definition of
24:38evangelizing is you're praying people
24:40through the Holy Ghost. So I've done
24:42multiple services where I've you know
24:44led people to an altar call and and and
24:46and sometimes we can get caught up with
24:48the formula And we think specific
24:51formula on how people should get the
24:53gift of the Holy Ghost,
24:55>> but there's no specific formula. Um, you
24:58just um let the spirit of God lead you.
25:02>> Now, for those people that are for us,
25:05not those, but us that are excited to
25:07pray someone through the Holy Ghost, we
25:09have to make sure we are full of faith.
25:11>> Yeah.
25:13>> How can they receive? Now the Bible does
25:16talk about then laying of hands and we
25:17we believe in that and and brother Cole
25:20uh Tim Cole gave great instructions on
25:22you know personal space and also uh it
25:25was mentioned earlier you know sister
25:26Bridget said that too but um you know
25:29when you pray for somebody you want to
25:31be full of faith if you do not have the
25:33faith and don't believe they can receive
25:35the gift of the Holy Ghost I'd rather
25:38you just step aside and let someone else
25:40that has faith pray for them.
25:42>> Amen.
25:42>> Amen. This is uh this is all about
25:44faith. And um
25:46>> so in in a setting like that sometimes
25:49we we confuse um
25:53uh we confuse intensity with spiritual
25:56progress
25:59>> naturally. Again I've I've led multiple
26:02uh services like these and I've always
26:04asked the musicians and singers sing
26:06something loud. See be give me a good
26:09beat. give me something that's
26:11expressive, fiery, you know, you
26:13understand what I'm saying?
26:15>> Um, part of that is we want to create an
26:17atmosphere where people um at least, you
26:19know, this does work for some people
26:21where they they don't want people
26:23hearing their prayer.
26:24>> Yeah.
26:25>> So, when you create this atmosphere, you
26:27know, loud music and all, um, you are
26:30allowing them to just, you know, worship
26:32God freely without necessarily thinking
26:34that someone is listening to what
26:35they're saying.
26:37But we can confuse intensity with
26:39spiritual progress. And that is a
26:41mistake that happens uh when we think
26:44that okay the more we have to be
26:45intense.
26:47>> We have to be screaming. We have to um
26:50you know jump and roll and and I'm not
26:52saying the Holy Ghost doesn't do intense
26:54things. God does do uh intense things.
26:57But
26:58>> that's not you the way to approach
27:00people when they're trying to receive
27:01the gift of the Holy Ghost. What you
27:03want is like brother Tim kind of
27:06mentioned. He I love what he said. He
27:08said, you know, you don't have to
27:09scream.
27:10>> Just be confident
27:13>> and knowing that God's going to fill
27:14them up. Be positive.
27:16>> I love something Billy Cole said in one
27:18of his uh teachings on on the gift of
27:20the Holy Ghost. He said, "People that
27:22you're praying for, they don't never
27:25spoken in tongue.
27:27That's why the be they're wanting to
27:29speak in a new tongue. They've never
27:31done it. Now us in church, we know a
27:35little bit about what it sounds like and
27:37and and sometimes we can discourage
27:41people when they they are starting to
27:43say a few words. Um that is, you know,
27:45it's not English, you know, it's not
27:47another language. It's it's that's the
27:49Holy Ghost. But sometimes, you know, we
27:51can be the ones to discourage them by
27:53saying, "Oh, you're almost there." And
27:56and and you've already heard one or two
27:58words. That's an opportunity for you to
28:00say, "Come on, let it go.
28:03>> Don't think about and and sometimes we
28:06emphasize tongues so much that it gets
28:08into their head."
28:11>> Can can you guys hear me? Can you hear
28:12me? Um, and and sometimes they they get
28:16into their head where they're they're
28:18consistently thinking about what is what
28:22how do I sound like and that can be a
28:25distraction to the person. I love what
28:26you just said. in faith, lift up your
28:29voice. Don't speak Spanish. Don't speak
28:30English. Don't speak Chinese. Whatever
28:32you know. Just speak in a new tongue as
28:35the spirit gives you the utterance.
28:37>> Now, there is a human part and there is
28:38a divine part into this equation. And
28:42and nobody can receive the gift of the
28:45Holy Ghost if they don't open their
28:46mouth.
28:48>> God gives the utterance.
28:50>> He the spirit is the utterance. God
28:52gives the utterance. Now, I also want to
28:54talk and I'm looking at the time here. I
28:55also want to talk about something that
28:57perhaps we don't think about too much,
28:58but it's the follow-up process.
29:03I mean, we we want people to come to an
29:05altar and we will see people come to an
29:06altar. In fact, tonight, someone comes
29:08to the altar. God bless you. I believe
29:09God can give you the Holy Ghost. But
29:11what happens when they leave the altar?
29:15>> Now, there's two scenarios here.
29:16Scenario number one, they get the Holy
29:18Ghost.
29:19>> A lot of us think the Holy Ghost is the
29:21finish line.
29:24Baptism is the finish line.
29:26>> They got baptized. They received the
29:27gift of the Holy Ghost. Good luck. God
29:29bless you in your journey.
29:32>> Our job as the body of Christ is to help
29:34the young ones in the spirit to continue
29:38to grow.
29:39>> That's why the Bible gives us in the
29:41book of Galatians, the fruits of the
29:43spirit.
29:44The experience matters, but the fruit of
29:47the spirit also matters. So the
29:49follow-up process is so important. And
29:51so scenario one, they get the Holy
29:52Ghost. You want to connect with them. I
29:56I in Miami, you know, we we we
30:00stress this on on the congregation as
30:03much as we could. Um you know, connect
30:05with somebody, especially if someone
30:07came received from God, don't let them
30:10leave this place and then never have a
30:13conversation with them again.
30:15>> It's about helping people in their
30:17journey. Now, scenario number two, they
30:20don't get the Holy Ghost. What do we do
30:22then? I know that we've had moments
30:25where you you want someone to get the
30:27Holy Ghost and and and and they don't
30:29get it. You don't ever want to
30:32discourage them.
30:34>> Don't give them a look like like, "Come
30:36on, you you should have you should have
30:38it's been 30 minutes."
30:41You always want to go and and speak
30:43faith to them and say, "Hey, I love the
30:46book of Luke says, "Ask and you shall
30:49receive."
30:50>> Now, if they do that, they come to the
30:52altar and they ask and they don't
30:53receive. I love the second part or the
30:56the other part of that verse. It says,
30:58"Seek and you shall find."
31:01>> So, if they don't receive it, they've
31:02asked, but they didn't get it. Now, it's
31:04time to seek for it. Yeah.
31:06>> And that means during the week, I had a
31:09friend growing up. He didn't get the
31:10Holy Ghost in church, but he was so
31:12hungry to receive the gift of the Holy
31:14Ghost. He was at home and his younger
31:16brother was sick and um his younger
31:19brother was six years old. He had a
31:21terrible fever. The father decided, I'm
31:23going to go get some medicine. So, the
31:24dad left the room and he was on his way
31:27to the pharmacy. And uh this young
31:30friend of mine, he he was new to church.
31:32I mean, a month, two months in. And he
31:34remembered the words of the preacher. He
31:37said just have faith and you will you
31:40will see miracles happen. The greatest
31:42miracle anybody can can have is the gift
31:44of the Holy Ghost. That is the greatest
31:46miracle. But he was thinking if I pray
31:48for my younger sibling now, God can heal
31:51him from from this sickness.
31:55Uh so he began to pray for healing. Yet
31:59he was not even thinking about getting
32:00the Holy Ghost. He was just praying for
32:02his brother's healing and the Lord
32:05filled him with the Holy Ghost in his
32:06bedroom. Nobody watching. His dad came
32:09back and he's speaking in a new tongue
32:11as the spirit gave him the utterance.
32:13What you want to tell someone if they
32:14don't get the Holy Ghost here, God can
32:16still give you the Holy Ghost. Even in
32:18your room tonight, you you feel his
32:20presence. You lift up your hands and you
32:22you want to speak faith to somebody. You
32:25want to tell them God is going to fill
32:27you up. Seek him. Don't stop seeking. So
32:32that's those are just a couple points I
32:34I wanted to share and I'm just going to
32:35hand this over to my wife.
32:37>> Praise the Lord. I knew I shouldn't have
32:39followed him.
32:42>> Just a couple quick things here and I
32:44feel that you know it's already some of
32:46these things have already been mentioned
32:47but we want to remember that receiving
32:49the gift of the Holy Ghost is a
32:51partnership with God. All right? It's
32:54not all on him and it's not all on us.
32:58We have God doesn't remove our ability
33:00to choose, right? There's still uh Acts
33:032 and4 it says they were all filled with
33:06the Holy Ghost and began to speak with
33:07other tongues as the spirit gave them
33:10the utterance. So the spirit gave it and
33:13they spoke. Right? There's a
33:14partnership. There's a participation in
33:17that. And that's why they said opening
33:19your mouth is so important. Um my dad um
33:24was telling me about how when he was a
33:27child he wanted the Holy Ghost so bad
33:29and uh he was seeking for it and he
33:31asked my papa his dad he said why can't
33:35why can't the holy jo the Holy Ghost
33:37just come and possess me and my papa
33:40said that is the difference between the
33:43enemy and God because God's not going to
33:47force himself coersse himself onto you
33:50the enemy has to do that to get in. But
33:52God doesn't need to do that. He's a
33:54gentleman. And so, he wants your willing
33:56participation. And that's what we have
33:59to explain to people. When they come to
34:01the altar, they're willing. When they
34:03open up their their mouth, they're
34:05willing. And God will respond to that
34:07willingness. And we need to This is
34:09point two. I guess I'm only one minute
34:12in. That's okay. Point two, not even
34:15looking at my notes, y'all. Point two is
34:19our spiritual EQ.
34:21We need to have a spiritual uh
34:24intelligence, emotional intelligence.
34:27Okay, that's discernment
34:30because we need to understand how we're
34:32praying people through to the Holy
34:34Ghost. What part of the process are they
34:36at in the spirit? If they've already
34:39repented and you can discern that
34:41they've let things go, you don't want to
34:44go back to you just need to let go, that
34:47can create frustration in them, right?
34:50And so, we have to have a discernment in
34:52the spirit to say, "Okay, I can sense
34:54that they're they're afraid. Maybe
34:56that's why they're not opening their
34:57mouth. How can I talk through this with
34:59them? How can I explain?" Opening your
35:02mouth is what's going to allow you to
35:04feel that that peace or to take that
35:06next step. And so that's why we want to
35:09be fasted and praying and and we want to
35:12be sensitive to the spirit of God. We
35:15can't come and do this in our own spirit
35:17in our own strength. We will it it won't
35:20happen. All right? But if we're
35:23sensitive to the spirit and we have
35:25discernment, what does that word
35:26discernment mean? I feel like sometimes
35:29we um we've made the definition of
35:32discernment a little bit spookier than
35:34it needs to be. Um, discernment is not,
35:37oh, I can read you like a book and I
35:40know what's going on in the secret
35:41places of your heart. No, what
35:43discernment really is at its core is
35:46just being able to be sensitive to what
35:49God is doing in the spirit and how can I
35:52respond to what God is doing in the
35:54spirit.
35:55>> So, I want to have a discernment when
35:57someone is seeking and looking for the
35:59the spirit of God to fall on them. How
36:01can I say, "You're right there."
36:04something that um they had mentioned. I
36:06think that we should stress if we truly
36:09believe that the gift of the Holy Ghost
36:13is evidenced by speaking in other
36:15tongues. We should not be afraid to
36:19to express that. We should not be afraid
36:22to say, "Hey, open up your mouth. The
36:26Lord doesn't have to hijack your mouth.
36:27Open up your mouth and you respond." as
36:30the spirit gives the utterance, you
36:33respond. That should be encouraged. We
36:36don't have to be afraid to do those
36:37things. That's what we believe. And so,
36:41that's important. And I guess my last
36:43thing would be, and something I'm
36:45particularly passionate about, and you
36:48guys will um learn this about me as you
36:50get to know me if you haven't been able
36:52to tell already.
36:54I believe very firmly in setting an
36:57atmosphere in a service that is
37:00conducive to those receiving the Holy
37:02Ghost at the altar.
37:04So when we come to church, we are not
37:07just following a rubric of okay,
37:10worship word altar dismissal check.
37:16When we come to church, we're being
37:19sensitive to what God is. It is a very
37:21spiritual experience. There should be a
37:24spiritual thread woven throughout the
37:26entire service that leads you to the
37:29altar call, right? And so that's what I
37:32love about our church. Our church, I
37:35love saying that. Our church
37:37because we love to worship and be
37:40expressive in our worship. We love to
37:43amen the preacher and clap our hands so
37:46that when the preacher says, "Let's come
37:48to the altar. Who wants to receive the
37:50gift of the Holy Ghost?" guests aren't
37:51going, "Oh, where did this come from?"
37:54They could feel in the service, "Wow, I
37:56can lift my hands. I can raise my voice.
37:59I can clap. I can cry unto the Lord with
38:01a voice of triumph." We have to remember
38:04to set an atmosphere. And it's not just,
38:07you know, amening the preacher isn't
38:08just to make him feel good. Although,
38:11you know, sometimes it's my husband. It
38:14helps. Um,
38:17it's not just to make them feel good.
38:19It's showing them how we do church,
38:22right? There's a purpose to it. There's
38:25a purpose to it. And we have to reme
38:27remember, you know, we all have
38:29different personality types. And I
38:31understand. And I know that we've got
38:32some older people in here. They might
38:34not be able to run the aisles like the
38:36young people, and they should not be
38:38expected to. All right?
38:41But we have to understand the difference
38:43between personality differences
38:47and biblical descriptives, right?
38:49Because Psalm says, "Lift up your hands.
38:53Shout unto God with a voice of triumph.
38:55Sing unto the Lord a new song. Clap your
38:58hands all ye people." This is a biblical
39:00thing. This isn't just a cultural thing.
39:03And so we have to develop that so that
39:06when they come to the altar, they're not
39:09feeling like I'm going to be judged if I
39:11lift my voice. They're not already they
39:14have felt the presence of God throughout
39:16the the the service. They've seen that
39:19you believe what the preacher is saying.
39:20You've gotten behind the worship. You've
39:22gotten behind the word and now they want
39:25to.
39:27>> Amen.
39:28And so
39:30it is a part of the spiritual DNA of a
39:32church and we want to protect that. We
39:35want to protect that kind of an
39:37atmosphere. We cannot lose our
39:40expression, our passion, our zeal.
39:43That's what allows people to step into
39:45his presence in the altar at the end. I
39:48want and my last thing, it is not um a
39:52denominational thing. It is not uh a
39:56part of a Christian sect. No, this is
39:58something that is a biblical precedent
40:02to be expressive in the presence of God.
40:05And so I truly believe wholeheartedly
40:08that if we do that and we create a
40:10culture every church service, not just
40:12for big day, not just for special
40:14events, not just for Easter, but on a
40:16Wednesday night like this one where
40:18people are not afraid to express how
40:20good God has been because the word of
40:23God is that powerful. It's powerful
40:26enough for me to shout about it, to
40:27thank God about it, to lift my voice
40:30about it. God is changing lives. And so
40:33I will express myself because of it. And
40:35that's what I believe. It will change
40:37the way this altar will break open if we
40:40are a willing vessel in Jesus name.
40:48>> She said that she hated following her
40:50husband. I hate following her. Amen.
40:59So much has been said and I have some
41:01things I do want to say tonight, but uh
41:05I do I kind of got want to get out of uh
41:08some things out of the way and then so
41:10that we can let the spirit of the Lord
41:12uh move when we end here uh this evening
41:15is one of the things that I have felt
41:18very strongly about and the reason why I
41:20felt like God talked to me about this
41:23tonight was that we are going to see a
41:27lot of people get the Holy Ghost.
41:33>> It's true whether you say amen or not
41:38>> because when God does something, he
41:40he'll just blow he'll blow right past
41:42you.
41:42>> That's right.
41:44>> Amen.
41:45And and so the the God is preparing us
41:49here,
41:50you know, and and so I want to see uh a
41:57team, ultra-working team formed.
42:02That's what I want to see happen. and
42:05and not everybody that uh make need to
42:09be on the team or but I want you to be
42:14led of the Lord about volunteering when
42:18we we have a we're going to put a QR
42:20code up here in a minute and uh uh it's
42:24there's a survey and and if you want to
42:28be on that team there's a place for you
42:29to say I want to be on that team. I
42:33believe that it should be in the heart
42:36of everybody
42:38to want to be used to pray with somebody
42:41to get the Holy Ghost.
42:43>> Amen. It may not be that you're part of
42:46the inservice team, but you may talk to
42:50somebody at work or in the restaurant or
42:54wherever you're at and and the spirit of
42:57God's there and you feel the spirit of
42:58God and you say, "You know what? No, the
43:02the answer isn't well come to church.
43:04The answer is do you want to pray right
43:07now?
43:09>> And and this is a person that's been
43:13very shy in his life say saying this to
43:15you. So don't be telling me that you're
43:18shy.
43:20Amen.
43:22>> And uh uh just sitting up here this
43:26evening has create is something that I
43:29thought I'd never do.
43:32But you know what? God will take you. I
43:34don't care who you are, where you're at,
43:36what your personality is like, and he'll
43:38do it. And I believe every person in
43:41here can pray somebody through to the
43:43Holy Ghost.
43:49And so that that's just something I I
43:52wanted to talk about the team first and
43:55and then uh I believe that we're going
43:58to have some sessions just for the team
44:02uh to talk more about this to to maybe
44:05get more in depth uh about the things
44:08because really all the things tonight I
44:11hope you're uh I know they're videoing
44:13this so uh if you want to really want to
44:16know about, go back and listen because
44:18all these things that were said are
44:19wonderful. I mean, they're all
44:21necessary. Every one of the things that
44:24were said tonight were were necessary.
44:26But I want to read a scripture. It says
44:28in Hebrews 11:16, it says, "But without
44:33faith, it is impossible to please him.
44:37For he who comes to God must believe
44:39that he is a God and that he is a
44:43rewarder
44:44of those that diligently seek him.
44:48We know no one receives the Holy Ghost
44:50without faith.
44:52>> But but you know you can have faith
44:56that's not correct. You believe this but
45:00it's not
45:02it it's not according to the word of
45:04God. So you got to believe firstly that
45:06there is God that he's there is a God
45:10and uh uh that uh he will also when you
45:15come to him and ask him to do something
45:18in your life he will reward you.
45:23>> And the reason he will reward you is
45:27because you're diligent
45:31>> when you seek him.
45:36If you're yawning, you ain't getting the
45:38Holy Ghost.
45:45If you really want something,
45:48I know your kids don't come up to you
45:51and have requests and you know just
45:54like, well, if you really want to give
45:55it to me.
45:58No, no. they're going to come to you and
46:00you do the same thing with others. You
46:03come to them with a a diligence
46:07>> in your speak to them. And so
46:10the faith is so important in in all of
46:14this as brother Cole has has already
46:17made mention. and uh you come to him
46:21with the knowledge that he is God and
46:25that God will reward you
46:28>> because you're seeking him.
46:29>> Amen.
46:32>> As I said earlier,
46:34God wants you to have the Holy Ghost
46:36more than you want the Holy Ghost.
46:38>> So the I've asked many people when I'm
46:41praying with them in the Holy Ghost,
46:42"Well, when you going to get the Holy
46:43Ghost?" And I almost invariably they'll
46:46say to me, "Well, when the Lord wants to
46:47give it to me." Well, that ain't
46:49happening.
46:54It ain't happening.
46:56Because you have to say, "I'm gonna get
46:59it."
47:00>> Amen. That's why Brother Cole asked that
47:03gentleman. He said, "Okay, do you want
47:05the Holy Ghost?"
47:09>> And so when you say you want it now,
47:15you'll get the Holy Ghost.
47:17it it'll come because God it's a gift.
47:20>> It's a gift. And uh you know it says in
47:24Mark 12 and30 it says and you shall res
47:27uh and you shall love the Lord your God
47:29with all your heart and all your soul
47:32and with all your mind and with all your
47:35strength.
47:39When you seek God that way, I promise
47:41you you will get the Holy Ghost.
47:47I want to tell you another problem
47:50that's in
47:52people when they don't get the Holy
47:54Ghost. Some some of Well, there's
47:55several problems, but one is they don't
47:57have enough information. But I think
47:59we've given you enough information
48:00tonight. You know, that's why it's a
48:03good thing if you're going to invite
48:04somebody to church that you can have a
48:07little Bible study with them before they
48:08get here.
48:10>> So, they'll have enough information to
48:12act on this moving of the spirit.
48:16And but you you have to have enough
48:20information. But when you have that
48:23information, a lot of times people want
48:26God because they want God to do
48:29something in their life. They want God
48:32to fix something in their life.
48:35They come to him. Well, that's not the
48:37reason you get the Holy Ghost.
48:40The reason you need the Holy Ghost is so
48:44the Holy Ghost can fix you.
48:48>> So then your problems will be fixed.
48:56>> Amen.
49:00I need the Holy Ghost for me.
49:05>> And then the Holy Ghost can work through
49:08me
49:10>> to deal with whatever's going on in my
49:12life, whatever it might be, whatever the
49:15problem is, whatever the situation is,
49:18the Holy Ghost can work in that regard.
49:22And and of course what we've already
49:24mentioned, the belief, the repentance,
49:26all of those things are very necessary.
49:28All the instructions that Sister Bridget
49:31gives to the children, you need to hear
49:34them
49:35>> if you want the Holy Ghost
49:40>> because we're just big kids. That's all
49:42we are.
49:45>> And so we need those things in our
49:47lives. There's a reason you shut your
49:49eyes because we're easily distracted.
49:54I always tell people this about shutting
49:55your eyes
49:58because it's worked for me when I was a
50:00kid. So, I figure if it worked for me,
50:03it worked for anybody.
50:05But I tell people, get a mental picture
50:07of Jesus.
50:09>> Get it in your brain. When your eyes are
50:11closed, I don't know if you've ever seen
50:13a painting of Jesus or whatever. Just
50:16get a middle picture of what Jesus looks
50:18like and think about him and then praise
50:22him and worship him and the Holy Ghost
50:24will come.
50:27It'll come into your life and you'll
50:29receive this powerful gift that God has
50:34made available to mankind.
50:43And so what we're going to do tonight,
50:45let's stand now.
50:52Amen.
50:56We are all going to pray in this
50:58building.
51:02If altar work service is going on and
51:06you're in the back of the building,
51:07don't stand there and talk. You pray.
51:10>> Yes.
51:11>> You pray for the people up here. But if
51:14you are led to come up and pray with
51:16people, you come up and pray with them.
51:20But we're all going to pray tonight. And
51:22uh I'm gonna get bold here this evening.
51:25And uh Frank, I think it's your night.
51:39And before we leave tonight, they're
51:41going to put Yeah, there the QR codes
51:42all up there and you can take the survey
51:44and and and [music] answer all that. But
51:46brother Frank, I want you to come. I
51:48want the men here to come
51:50that are on this platform right now.
51:54Amen. And if there's anybody else here
51:56that wants the Holy Ghost tonight, if
51:58you've never received the gift of the
52:00Holy Ghost like they did in the second
52:03chapter [music] of Acts, you can have
52:04the Holy Ghost tonight.
52:13And if you have received the Holy Ghost
52:17and you would like God to touch you
52:18again, I know a lot of people I saw a
52:21lot of people [music] being touched by
52:22the Holy Ghost Sunday night. But if you
52:25want to be touched by the Holy [music]
52:27Ghost again, I want you to come up uh
52:30and pray with us. Amen. And we're going
52:32to be praying with Brother Frank. I
52:34believe the Lord is going to fill him
52:35with the Holy Ghost.
52:39He's already told me he wants the Holy
52:41Ghost.
52:43>> And so I believe God's going to do that
52:45tonight. But if there's others that
52:46would like to come and pray up in the
52:48front, if you'd like to pray in the
52:49front, and if you don't feel like coming
52:51in the front, if you'll pray where
52:52you're [music] at. Uh but let's pray
52:54tonight. Let's ask God to do what he's
52:56going to do. Uh amen. In this [music]
52:59next phase of our church,
53:02let's pray and ask God to move in our
53:04lives. Holy Spirit rain
53:09rain down [music] us.
53:12Holy Spirit rain [singing]
53:16rain [music] down us.
53:19Holy Spirit [singing] rain
53:23rain [music] down on us. Holy Spirit.
53:27Holy Spirit, [singing] rain,
53:30rain down on us.

53:42through this [music and singing] house.
53:44Open up the heavens. Pour your spirit
53:46out. Pray [singing]
53:49Lord. [music]
53:50Pray Lord. Oh, let it rain [singing]
53:55Lord.
53:57Pray
53:59Lord
54:01God Almighty. [singing and music] Let
54:02your Holy Spirit rain.
54:08Holy Spirit rain. [music and singing]
54:11Rain down on us.
54:13>> Holy Spirit.
54:15>> Holy Spirit [music]
54:16rain. [singing]
54:18Rain down on us. Break down.
54:21Holy Spirit [music and singing] rain.
54:25Break down,
54:28Holy [music] Spirit. [singing]
54:32Break down us
54:34like a mighty wind [music]
54:36blow [singing] through this house. Open
54:38up the heavens. Pour your spirit out
54:41like a mighty wind. Blow through this
54:44house. Open up the heavens. Pour your
54:47spirit out like Christ.
54:50Blow [singing and music] through this
54:51house. Open up the heavens. Pour your
54:54spirit out like a mighty wind [singing]
54:56blow through this house. [music]
54:58Open up the heavens. Pour your spirit
55:01out. Pray
55:03Lord. Rain Lord. [singing] Pray Lord.
55:08Oh rain
55:10Lord.
55:12Rain Lord.
55:16God almighty. Let your Holy Spirit rain.
55:19[music and singing]
55:22Holy Spirit, [singing] rain,
55:25[music]
55:26rain down us.
55:27>> Holy Spirit, [singing] rain.
55:29>> Holy Spirit, rain,
55:33rain [music] down us.
55:34>> Rain down on us.
55:36>> Holy Spirit, [singing] rain,
55:39rain [music] down on us.
55:41>> Holy Spirit,
55:43Holy Spirit, [singing] rain,
55:46[music]
55:46rain down on us.
55:49Like a mighty wind blow through this
55:52house. Open up the [music] heavens, pour
55:55your spirit out. Like a mighty wind blow
55:58[music] through this house. Open up the
56:00heavens, pour your spirit out, like your
56:03[music] mighty wind, blow through this
56:05house. Open up the heavens, pour your
56:08spirit [music and singing] out.
56:11Blow through this house. Open up the
56:14heavens. Pour your spirit out. Pray,
56:18Lord.
56:20Pray [singing]
56:21Lord.
56:25Lord,
56:26pray
56:28Lord.
56:30God Almighty, let your Holy
56:32[music and singing] Spirit rain.
56:36Like courage fire burn my soul. Baptize
56:41me with the Holy [music] Ghost. Courage
56:44fire burn [singing] in my soul. Baptize
56:47me with the [music] Holy Ghost. Courage
56:51fire burning my soul. Baptize me with
56:55the Holy [music] Ghost. Courage burning
56:59my soul. Baptize me with the Holy Ghost.
57:03[music]
57:05Lord who let you
57:08[singing] Lord [music] Hol
57:12Lord. meet the way.
57:15Lord God Almighty [music]
57:17God Almighty, let your Holy Spirit
57:20[singing] rain.
57:24>> Holy Spirit rain [singing]
57:28[music] down.
57:29>> Holy Spirit rain.
57:31>> Holy [singing] Spirit rain.
57:34[music] Rain down.
57:35>> Rain down on us.

59:03Brother Frank did receive the Holy Ghost
59:06tonight.
59:08Come on. Can we rejoice? God is moving.
59:11God is on the throne. Let's worship.
59:14Let's worship. Let's worship.
59:19>> Lord,
59:22Lord, who had a dream, [singing]
59:25Lord? [music]
59:27Pray
59:29Lord
59:31God Almighty. Let your Holy Spirit rain.

59:38Holy [music] Spirit rain [singing]
59:41rain down on us.
59:43>> Holy Spirit rain.
59:44>> Holy Spirit [music] rain

59:58>> Holy [music] Spirit, rain,
60:01rain down on us in like a
