Summary
Using the Parable of the Talents, Pastor Elms explores the '26 most wonderful words' a believer can hear - 'Well done, good and faithful servant' - and contrasts the abundance of God's Kingdom with the scarcity mindset that leads to spiritual paralysis.
Key points
- •The Master (Jesus) intends for His servants to understand the Kingdom as a place of abundance rather than scarcity.
- •Waiting on the Lord is not passive inactivity; it is an active engagement through praise, work, and moving forward (mounting up like eagles, running, or walking).
- •The '26 words' spoken to the faithful servants represent the ultimate reward: hearing 'Well done, good and faithful servant.'
- •God is not impressed by natural talent alone, but by the faithfulness and stewardship of what has been entrusted to each person according to their ability.
- •A 'scarcity mindset' leads to fear and burying one's potential, whereas an 'abundance mindset' trusts in God's reputation for multiplication.

Life application
Identify a 'talent' or responsibility you have been 'burying' due to fear or a sense of insufficiency, and take one active step this week to use it for God's Kingdom.
Reflection questions
- Do you view God as a 'hard man' or as a generous Master who desires to reward faithfulness?
- In what areas of your life are you currently 'waiting' on the Lord, and does that waiting look more like sitting still or mounting up like an eagle?
- How can you shift your focus from your own perceived insignificance to God's reputation for abundance?
- The speaker mentions that the wicked servant received four times as many words of correction as the faithful received of praise. Why do you think the Master spent so much time explaining the servant’s error?

0:00But the the the name of this sermon,
0:01this lesson, this harvest month, is the

0:11When I told my wife the name of that,
0:13she said, "Is this a series?"
0:15I said, "No, it's just one lesson."
0:18She said, "It sounds like you're going
0:20to go a long time."

0:32Matthew 25:14
0:36says Jesus was speaking a parable.
0:40For the kingdom of heaven will be like a
0:42man going on a journey who called his
0:45servants and entrusted to them his
0:47property. I'm reading from the ESB.
0:50To one he gave five talents, to another
0:52two, to another one,
0:55to each
0:57according
0:58to that individual's ability.
1:01Then he went away. He who had received
1:05five talents went at once and traded
1:07with them. He made five talents more. So
1:10also he who had the two talents made two
1:14talents more. But he who had received
1:17the one talent went and dug in the
1:19ground and hid his master's money.
1:24Everybody say, "Now, after a long time,"
1:28you know what we do? Many times when we
1:30read the Bible, we underestimate how
1:32often the Lord warns us
1:35how long he's going to wait until he
1:37comes again.
1:39If you're sensitive and you're reading
1:41the word, you'll realize he didn't say I
1:44know I know many people say he's coming
1:46suddenly. He is coming suddenly.
1:49I behold I'm coming quickly quickly. But
1:52it's going to be in the instant. It's
1:54going to be quick.
1:56But many times he let us know I'm going
1:59on a long journey. And so here's one of
2:02those times he lets the cat out of the
2:05bag. Now after a long time the master of
2:09those servants came and settled accounts
2:12with them.
2:17The old account was settled
2:21growing every day for I was always
2:24sinning.
2:28I don't know the words.
2:30It's a good one. The old account was
2:32settled. He
2:35settled.
2:38Have you ever owed anybody money and you
2:40settled?
2:43Have you ever gone and sold a car? They
2:47were counting out the cash. You were
2:49right. So, you took it, you kind of
2:52tapped it down. I just sold my Jaguar. I
2:54did that when I finally got all the
2:55cash. I tacked it down. The old account
3:00was settled.
3:04Long ago,
3:06long ago.
3:08Yes. The old account was settled long
3:11ago.
3:13Let that record clear today. For he
3:17washed my sins away. And the old account
3:20was settled long ago. Listen, those
3:23songs can be ignored and forgotten and
3:27sometimes passed by,
3:30but they are so powerful.
3:36The old account was settled. So he came
3:40back and settled accounts with them. And
3:44he who had received the five talents
3:46came forward bringing five talents more,
3:48saying, "Master, you delivered to me
3:50five talents here.
3:52I have made five talents more. His
3:55master said unto him
4:00the 26
4:03most
4:04wonderful words.
4:08Well done, good and faithful servant.
4:12You have been faithful over a little.
4:17I will set you over much
4:20enjoy
4:22or enter into the joy of your master.
4:29And he also who had their two talents
4:31came forward saying, "Master, you
4:32delivered me two talents. Here
4:35I have made two talents more."
4:39His
4:41master said unto him
4:44the 26
4:46most wonderful words,
4:49"Well done, good and faithful servant.
4:52You have been faithful over a little.
4:55I will set you over much.
4:58Enter into the joy of your master."
5:03He also who had received one talent came
5:05forward saying, "Master, you're a hard
5:08man, reaping where you did not sow, and
5:10gathering where you scattered no seed."
5:13I knew you to be a hard man.
5:17Reaping where you did not sew, and
5:18gather gathering where you scattered no
5:20seed. So I was afraid, and I went and
5:22hid the talent in the ground. Here, have
5:25what is yours. It's all that you gave.
5:31But his master answered him 119 words.
5:35You don't want to hear these.
5:37He got talked to four times as much
5:43as the others.
5:45I want you to learn from what the master
5:49said to him because I don't want you to
5:51ever
5:53hear this in your life.
5:58You wicked
6:01I'm giving you back everything you gave
6:03me.
6:05You wicked, slothful servant.
6:09You knew that I reap where I have not
6:11sown and gather where I scattered no
6:13seed.
6:14Then you ought to have invested my money
6:17with the bankers, and at my coming I
6:20should have at least what was mine with
6:23my own with interest. So take the talent
6:26from him and give it to him who has the
6:2810 talents. For everyone who has will
6:32more be given, and he with will have an
6:35abundance. But from the one who has not,
6:39even what he has will be taken away and
6:43cast the worthless servant.
6:49I know some people want to black out the
6:53Bible and I don't like it. It's too
6:55rough. It's too direct. It's too clear.
6:58Seems like he could have been more kind
6:59to this servant.
7:02We're not mismanners up here, ladies and
7:04gentlemen. I'm here to tell you what God
7:06said.
7:08He said that servant who just buried and
7:12kept it guarded it. He may have checked
7:14on the field every day where it was
7:16buried. The Lord said, "Cast
7:20the worthless servant into the outer
7:24darkness in the place." Give that sister
7:26Elms, please. In the She needs that more
7:29than I do.
7:35And cast
7:37that one,
7:39the worthless service in the servant
7:41into outer darkness. in the place in
7:43that place there will be weeping and
7:46nashing of teeth. Listen to me. I prayed
7:49a prayer um over Anthony Tremble. I
7:52wrote it down and I gave it to brother
7:53and sister Tremble and Anthony before he
7:56died and I called it my capars prayer
7:59and you've you've been around it and
8:01you've heard about it. I've taught it
8:02before and uh in that every uh letter is
8:07an acronym and it's it's C A P A R R SI
8:13Kapari. It's just a place I call it, you
8:17know, I like to go to a place named
8:18Kapars and it's just a tool for me to
8:21help remember it. But C is continually
8:24I'll come. A is I'll acknowledge what my
8:28condition is today. Some days I'm
8:29encouraged, some days I'm not. But I'm
8:31going to acknowledge it to the to the to
8:33the Lord. Sometimes you have a praise
8:36psalm you need to be singing. Some days
8:38you need to be singing a lament
8:41song.
8:44It's not going so good and you're not
8:45feeling so good about it. Do you think
8:47God's not a big boy enough to handle
8:49that?
8:50And so some days you've got to just
8:52acknowledge, Lord, it is not feeling
8:54very good down here right now.
8:57The report from the doctor is terrible.
9:00the white sales are going crazy and and
9:03many times I would report that the facts
9:07you know the facts that try to
9:08discourage you the facts are not the
9:10truth
9:12don't ever confuse the facts with the
9:14truth facts are data points but truth is
9:18the big narrative
9:20so you acknowledge and promises
9:22attributes reputation report sympathy
9:24and in the name of the Lord but the one
9:28that is attached to this scripture is
9:32the reputation. You remind the Lord of
9:35his reputation. What is the reputation
9:38of the Lord? Well, God tells us his
9:42reputation. this man uh the slothful,
9:45the wicked, the the thoughtless servant
9:48who did not do his duty said, "I knew
9:52that you were a hard man
9:55and I knew that you reaped where you
9:58didn't sow and you gathered a harvest
10:02from places you did not even sew a plant
10:05seed." I knew this about you. So, I
10:09wanted to make sure I got back to you
10:10what you got to me. And the Lord who's
10:13the one telling this parable. Isn't it
10:16amazing when God's telling the per
10:18parable? Have you ever you know one of
10:19the my favorite things to do for my kids
10:21was to tell them a bedtime story and a
10:23legend has happened in my home and I
10:26love it because my children have honored
10:29me and and I can't tell you how honored
10:31I feel in that the legend of wildfire
10:35has continued.
10:38I'm telling you, I had River at my house
10:41last Wednesday night and he come
10:43crawling in bed and we were going to bed
10:46and he said, "Pop pop, how about a story
10:50about wildfire?"
10:55Listen, Austin has added layers to that
10:57story and I don't know all the layers of
10:59that story. So, I take him back to the
11:02original valley where wildfire lived.
11:08When you're the teller of the story, you
11:11can create the narrative.
11:14You get to emphasize the cold tundra air
11:17that was tumbling over the mountaintop.
11:20YOU GET TO DESCRIBE, DESCRIBE HOW THE
11:23HOWL OF THE SCREAM OF THE PANTHER IN THE
11:26NIGHT PIERCED the black sky.
11:29You get to make it. Well, Jesus is the
11:32teller of this.
11:34It's a parable. And Jesus is the one who
11:38added the color to the parable. And he
11:41said, "This man said, I was a hard a man
11:45who reaped where I did not sow and
11:48gathered where I did not plant seed."
11:51And he repeated that to the slothful
11:53servant. He said, "Since you knew that I
11:57get more coming to me than what people
12:00think I deserve, why didn't you live in
12:04that mindset?" and I at least didn't
12:06give my money to the bankers.
12:09Now, here's the point that I want you to
12:12understand. The master says 26 words to
12:17the five talent man and 26 words to the
12:20two talent man, but he says 113 is the
12:24proper number. 113 over four times more
12:28words to the slothful wicked servant.
12:32And the reason is because the pa the
12:35master is trying to give his disciples a
12:38lesson. And I want this lesson to get
12:40deep in your spirit right now. There are
12:42so many times that we come to the Lord
12:46and we feel insufficient.
12:49We feel like our prayer is too weak. We
12:51feel like we don't think smart enough
12:53prayers. I mean, while pre-ervice prayer
12:55was going on tonight, I literally pled
12:57the blood of Jesus over the Lord.
13:00I I I'm sitting up here praying and I
13:03said, "Lord, I plead the blood over
13:05you."
13:09Don't laugh. Some of y'all weren't even
13:11heard.
13:13Y'all acting like you're something. You
13:14were dead. All right. Now, I'm going to
13:17cool down. All right. You weren't even
13:20here to hear it. I I I can't wait to
13:22hear you mess up.
13:25>> I wish some of y'all would get bold
13:27enough to mess up and be heard about it.
13:29Calm down, Brother Elms. Here we go.
13:33Listen to me. I stopped. If anybody was
13:37listening, you heard me say this. I
13:39said, "Lord, I'm not pleading the blood
13:41over you. You're the And then I don't
13:43know exactly what I said, but I just
13:44turned it around. I said, "I'm not
13:45pleading the blood over you. I'm
13:46pleading the blood over these names that
13:48are on the screen."
13:50We can feel insufficient
13:54even though you know at times you're
13:56strong at times you're you're you're
13:58beautiful.
14:03At times you're very nimble. At times
14:05you're quick on your feet.
14:08There are times that we all feel like
14:11we're not sufficient enough. And here's
14:13what the Lord was trying to get to his
14:15disciples. It matters none about how
14:18much talent you think you have. That
14:20word talent is in the Greek, it has to
14:23do with a measurement. It has to do with
14:25a weight of gold the Lord had given to
14:28them. It wasn't a talent like me playing
14:31the drums. No, it was a grouping of
14:34finances, a large chunk of revenues.
14:38And there he said, I want you all to
14:42know something. If you'll just know
14:45there's blessing coming the way of the
14:47kingdom of God, then you can hear the 26
14:50words. But if you ever think that the
14:53kingdom of God is going to fall short,
14:56that you got to do everything you to do
14:58just to just hold on, you got to do
15:01everything you can do just barely squeak
15:03past heaven's pearly gates. The Lord did
15:06not want that mindset to ever be in his
15:09church.
15:10Never. He wanted you to know he's got
15:13more rewards coming to this kingdom than
15:16YOU CAN IMAGINE. HE'S got more blessings
15:19coming for his people than you can ever
15:21think about. So when you've got to reset
15:25how you're going to operate, whether
15:28it's reaching a neighbor, whether it's
15:29praying for your mother, whether it's
15:31laying hands on a sick person with a
15:33headache in a in a cubicle at work, all
15:36these things which are actions of
15:38serving the Lord, instead of acting
15:40like, well, I don't have a powerful
15:42prayer to pray. I my my God bless you
15:45doesn't mean an awful lot. The Lord is
15:47saying, "No, you need to understand
15:49there is a default that is greater than
15:52you can imagine. And that default is a a
15:56blessing that will come your way and
15:59override and overwhelm everything that
16:02you can even imagine.
16:06Jesus lifts it into the realm of
16:08stewardship because he's entrusted us
16:11with time, with relationships, with
16:14influence, even a gifting. It might be a
16:17large gifting, it may not be a large
16:19gifting, but it is a gifting and he
16:21entrusts it to us. And he wants us to
16:23understand his reputation is one of
16:27abundance,
16:29not scarcity. His default posture is
16:33this kingdom is going to prosper more
16:36than you can ever imagine. Now, I've
16:39been born and raised in this thing. I
16:41know that every church group seems to
16:44always fall short of what they're doing
16:46and trying to reach for. And I will tell
16:48you that is a that is a way to think
16:51because your vision needs to always be
16:53bigger than your provision. I mean, if
16:55we had a trillion dollars given to this
16:57church today, we would immediately have
16:58to go into a period of consecration. But
17:00you know why? Because our vision would
17:03need to get bigger than our provision.
17:07>> Doesn't matter what amount is given to
17:08you, your vision has got to exceed it.
17:11Because provision is always for the
17:14cause and the cause is always bigger
17:17than you can even imagine. God so loved
17:21>> the world.
17:24Michelangelo painted the cyine chapel
17:28and someone asked him about the painting
17:30of it. He said, "Why are you spending so
17:34much time in the corners and the edges
17:38of the ceiling where no one can see? You
17:42are spending way too much time in those
17:45corners. Just focus on this area that
17:47can be seen." And Michelangelo answered
17:50and said, 'N no, I'm going to be
17:52faithful in the hidden places as much as
17:55the well-seening places because I know
17:58it's there.
18:04I know it's there. I took the trash out
18:08last night and when I took it out, I did
18:12a little pizzazz spin as I spun it and
18:15leveled it for that trash truck to take
18:17it. Now, this is a ridiculous
18:20illustration, but I enjoyed
18:24the way I spun that thing around. Years
18:27I have been doing this. I did it when my
18:31kids were too little to reach up and
18:33pull a trash can. And then my kids I
18:36don't know, Austin, can I have honesty
18:38right now from you?
18:40>> Did you really take the job from me or
18:43was it something we swapped?
18:46Listen, your mama's always going to
18:47defend you.
18:51>> Tuesdays and Fridays is the only day the
18:53trash comes.
18:55>> That's a good boy back there. I'm
18:57telling you what. Why weren't you there
18:59last night?
19:03You got to relearn some things when the
19:05empty house comes upon you. But when I
19:08rolled that baby out, I came down and I
19:12I just felt some pizzazz the way I
19:14whipped it around. I was proud of my I
19:16just I just went
19:22Sometimes you got to admire your own
19:23work.
19:27>> Y'all weren't there to see it,
19:30but I know it's there.
19:33And so it is with serving the Lord.
19:39I want to praise him,
19:41not to be seen of men,
19:44>> but I know he's there.
19:46>> What's that song they talk about? I want
19:48to dance before you. I want to dance in
19:51your presence. Another like nobody's
19:54watching. Like nobody's watching. I want
19:56to dance in your presence, my Lord. I
20:00want to sing in your presence like
20:02nobody's listening. Listen, some of
20:05y'all got to do better when nobody's
20:06listening.
20:10But you understand the core, the
20:13essence, the ess. I'm telling you,
20:16Natana, last time you led service, the
20:19anointing of the Holy Ghost came on you,
20:21girl. You walked in the authority of a
20:24freedom that you found, you weren't
20:27given.
20:29The talent you were given. Okay? I'm not
20:32impressed with talent. I got talent.
20:34that people who don't have talent get
20:36impressed with talent. I'm not impressed
20:38with talent. I just say, "Wow, there's
20:39another one who has it." What I'm
20:41impressed with,
20:44is when they grab something that they
20:46weren't given.
20:49Oh,
20:51you know it when you SEE IT. IT'S MORE
20:53THAN TALENT. IT'S MORE THAN JUST
20:56DEMONSTRATION AND DISPLAY. THEY HAVE
20:59BEEN SOMEWHERE. THEY HAVE BEEN IN THE
21:02BOTTOM OF SOME PLACE OF DARKNESS AND
21:04PAIN AND WHAT THEY THOUGHT WAS
21:06ABANDONMENT. AND GOD SAID, "I LOVE YOU."
21:10AND THEY SAID, "YOU DON'T LOVE ME FOR MY
21:12TALENT." HE SAID, "NO, I LOVE YOU
21:15BECAUSE I FORMED YOU. I KNEW YOU WHEN
21:18YOU WERE YET IN YOUR MOTHER'S WOMB. I
21:20KNEW YOU BEFORE YOU WERE BORN. YOU'RE
21:23MINE."
21:29AND SO THE default that the Lord is
21:30trying to get through is an
21:33understanding
21:34when no one's watching.
21:37What quality
21:39of preparation are you going to give
21:41him? What are you going to offer to him
21:43in praise? You know, I everyone once in
21:46a while, I know it's the role of the
21:48pastor to preach about why
21:51there's not enough people coming to the
21:53altar. Okay? I know it's what happens.
21:56If I wasn't needed, y'all would all come
21:58to the altar or the worship wouldn't be
22:01at a certain level of expectation. This
22:04is why at every sporting event, there's
22:06people that are paid to get people wound
22:10up, okay? And they're not happy if
22:12you're just kind of halfway doing it. I
22:14mean, they I haven't gone to many events
22:16in my life, okay? But the few I have,
22:19I'm amazed at the boldness of the
22:21worshippers.
22:23I'm amazed.
22:25>> It It just blows my mind. They think
22:28nothing about turning around looking AT
22:30EVERYBODY SAYING, "COME ON,
22:37>> KEVIN. Don't start doing that in church.
22:39Don't turn around to everybody AND SAY,
22:42"COME ON."
22:45But if somebody did, would you be
22:47offended?
22:49>> How many leave the Dolphins game because
22:51someone turned around and did that?
22:55>> Am I just being intellectually honest
22:57right now? Is this fair?
23:00>> I'm not trying to be anything but
23:02dealing in reality and authenticity.
23:06And so, but but here's the thing. thing
23:08I love. And this church has got many
23:11amazing worshippers,
23:14but I want more.
23:18I I mean, Sunday we had a brand new
23:20convert
23:22who just I think she got the Holy Ghost.
23:24How did she when we baptized her? She's
23:26the Denny's. She works at Denny's. Is
23:28she here right now? Sister Olga won her
23:31to the Lord from a Bible study. Briana,
23:34there was a moment Sunday when that
23:37song, what was the name of that song?
23:39>> Uh, Lord, I'm grateful. Lord, I'm
23:42grateful. She wasn't ashamed. She got up
23:45from back there and walked all the way
23:47up here and just sobbing
23:51like this is her house. Which, by the
23:53way, it is her house.
24:01Anna, do you sit back there? You don't
24:03sit back there on Sundays, is it? That
24:05you get backslid on Wednesday, Tuesday
24:07night.
24:09Anna's my worship ma worship friend
24:12right up here. She What's wrong with
24:15your friend? How come I don't ever see
24:16her up here? Lami,
24:21I'm having fun. You guys understand I'm
24:23having fun. But what I'm not having fun
24:25is doing is that the reason people hold
24:28back is because they may not be as
24:30convinced about the plenty of the Lord.
24:34They may not really understand that what
24:36what those two GOOD ONES UNDERSTOOD.
24:39THEY MIGHT THINK I need to bury
24:41something and hold it because I got to
24:43hold out to the end. I'm determined to
24:47hold I love that song. Okay, don't get
24:49me Don't get me started. Some people
24:51have preached against. I am determined
24:53to hold out to the end, Jesus. And I've
24:56heard preachers mock it. Listen, I'm
24:58still going to sing it
25:00>> because I'm still determined to hold out
25:01to the end.
25:03>> But when I say hold out, that means
25:04you're going to deal with my praise.
25:06You're going to deal with my worship.
25:08You're going to deal with my hallelujah.
25:10You're going to deal you're going to
25:11understand that I'm in this place not to
25:15create some false fake hype joint. I am
25:20in this place TO TELL YOU ONE OF THESE
25:23DAYS, HEAR IT UNTIL I'M GONE. ONE OF
25:27THESE DAYS, THE HOLY GHOST THAT'S INSIDE
25:30OF ME IS GOING TO BE QUICKENED. AND THIS
25:34MORTAL IS GOING TO PUT ON IMMORTALITY
25:37AND I WILL BE CHANGED. I WILL BE
25:41TRANSFORMED. I WILL BE REMADE AND I WILL
25:45BE CAUGHT UP TO MEET HIM IN THE AIR. AND
25:50SO SHALL WE EVER.
25:58>> So the one with five talents
26:01and the one with two talents. Sister
26:02Elms, come. I promised myself I was
26:05going to stop at 8:30. The one with five
26:07talents and the one with two talents.
26:11They
26:12They worked.
26:14They traded.
26:16Soon as they got it, they said, "Let's
26:17go. Let's get after it." You know, some
26:20people say, "Well, I'm waiting on the
26:21Lord."
26:23What does waiting mean? Does it mean
26:25just sitting there?
26:28>> No. I got some geniuses in this house.
26:32Some of y'all made some money waiting,
26:34>> waiting on the Lord. Waiting. They that
26:38wait upon the Lord
26:40shall renew their strength. They shall
26:44mount up with wings as eagles.
26:49They shall run and not grow weary.
26:54They shall walk and not faint.
26:59Teach me Lord.
27:02Teach me Lord
27:04to wait.
27:09Listen. Diagnose this scripture with me.
27:12Okay. They that wait upon the Lord shall
27:18renew their strength.
27:20>> All right. We're about to see what
27:21waiting looks like.
27:23They shall
27:25mount up
27:27with wings as eagles. Waiting looks like
27:32mounting up on wings as an eagle.
27:38I have been fascinated watching friends
27:40of big bear eagles named Shadow and
27:44Jackie
27:46this ever since we had our fast.
27:49Remember our media fast?
27:52I was on YouTube finding something holy
27:54to watch because it was media fasting.
27:59didn't watch what I normally watch. So,
28:01I'm going to try and find watch
28:02something holy. Well, I figured watching
28:05a couple eagles in the nest felt pretty
28:07holy to me.
28:09And I watched Jackie and Shadow.
28:12They flew away on an unseasonably warm
28:15day.
28:18It's fobb.org if you're interested.
28:22And a crow came.
28:26Two of them hopped around the nest.
28:31looked around. I was watching it live.
28:36It was live.
28:39I saw that crow hop in the desk nest.
28:43And I stood up
28:47literally.
28:49I said, "NO,
28:55JACKIE.
28:59SHADOW.
29:05I watched that crow as it bowed its
29:07black neck up
29:09and break both of those eggs wide open.
29:15I was so panicked.
29:18>> Call 911.
29:26My heart was broken.
29:29It really was. I'm a dude, but I can
29:31break have a broken heart. Listen, baby.
29:33I was sad.
29:36I thought I watched when they came back.
29:40And those that mama tried to lay down on
29:42that cracked egg. She didn't know it was
29:45had been killed.
29:47And after a minute, she gets up and
29:48looks around.
29:51Then several nights they didn't spend.
29:52You can just just do some research. All
29:54the story is there. And then I learned
29:56something I'd never knew before.
29:59I learned that in the same season,
30:02eagles
30:04are able to have
30:07a double clutch.
30:11>> One grouping of eggs is called a clutch.
30:14But something goes sideways.
30:18Those two eagles started coming up on
30:20that nest, started talking to each
30:23other.
30:25They did a little wing rub. I watched
30:27all this stuff.
30:30They started singing.
30:33Before you know it,
30:35right now, you can go home and watch
30:37what they did today. Today they brought
30:40a whole new batch of extra padding
30:43because
30:44man will take his turn and the woman
30:46will take her turn and he'll bring her a
30:49fish and she'll chirp at him a little
30:51bit and eat and and then he'll get down
30:53and watch the egg and he's so tender.
30:56Those huge talons so tender. And they
30:59get down, they huddle on that thing and
31:01you can watch them. They put their beak
31:03down in front of them. and they'll go.
31:06All they're doing is getting those feet
31:08underneath those eggs
31:11pulling those eggs up close.
31:15Call me crazy, but they that wait upon
31:18the Lord are going to be like eagles.
31:21Some of you thought you had your last
31:23chance. Hell has kicked you in the
31:25teeth. And I'm come to tell you, there's
31:26a double shot coming your way. There's
31:29another clutch happening in your life.
31:34Because those that WAIT DOESN'T MEAN YOU
31:36SIT THERE WITH FOLDED HANDS. NO. HOW DO
31:38YOU WAIT? YOU FLY. I'm going to praise
31:41him again. I'm going to worship him
31:43again. YOU SAY, "BUT BROTHER ELMS, YOU
31:45DON'T KNOW WHAT I'VE BEEN THROUGH. I
31:46CAN'T FLY." THAT'S ALL RIGHT. HE'S GOT
31:48ANOTHER OPTION. RUN. RUN. RUN. RUN. YOU
31:54SAY, "BUT PASTOR, I'M SO WEAK. I CAN'T
31:57FLY. AND THERE'S NO WAY I CAN RUN.
32:00THAT'S OKAY. THE LORD WAS COUNTING ON
32:02YOU, TOO. HE SAID, "JUST PUT ONE FOOT IN
32:05FRONT OF THE OTHER. WALK, WALK, WALK."
32:09BECAUSE they that wait,
32:15stand up right now all over this
32:16building. I'm opening this altar. I
32:19don't know who you are. I don't know
32:20where you're at, but this this passive
32:23not bringing your best to him, it's not
32:25the way of the Lord. He's got more
32:27coming to you than the enemy ever wants
32:30you to know about. He's got answers for
