0:01for a few weeks now

0:06um I pray it ministers to you as it has
0:09ministered to
0:11me 30th Psalm it says a Psalm and song
0:15of the dedication of the House of David
0:17that's the introduction it says this a
0:18lot of verses you'll recognize here I
0:21will extol thee Oh Lord for thou Hast
0:24lifted me up and has not made my foes to
0:27Rejoice over me oh Lord my God I Cried
0:31unto thee and thou Hast healed
0:35me oh Lord thou Hast brought up my soul
0:38from the
0:40grave thou has kept me alive and that I
0:43may I should not go down to the pit I
0:46sing unto the Lord oh ye Saints of his
0:48he says and give thanks at the
0:52remembrance of his
0:54Holiness for his anger endureth but a

3:06of the world it is your word that spoke
3:10let there be light and it was is your
3:13word by which we are saved and which we
3:15are healed Lord I need you to touch my

3:24let me speak this truth the whole truth
3:27to nothing but the truth let the hearts
3:30of your people be changed today God and
3:33equip me Lord to stop when you tell me
3:36to stop and to say what you tell me to
3:39say let the minds of those that are
3:41under the sound of my voice be open not
3:44just to be hearers of your word Lord but
3:47doers also and this we pray in the
3:49Glorious matchless name of Jesus

4:08got up here than the song I had planned
4:12so we do some weird things as Christians
4:16as Pentecostals
4:18specifically and if this is your first
4:21service in a Pentecostal church I'm sure
4:24I don't have to explain this to you I'm
4:26I'm sure it's pretty evident now I'm I'm
4:29born I was born in this church I was
4:32born in this truth so I'm used to
4:35calling everybody brother and
4:37sister but I get that it's kind of weird
4:42when we call each other brother and
4:44sister if I was to forget everything and
4:46walk into this church for the first time
4:48I would be a little freaked out if they
4:50started calling me brother or sister and
4:56especially
4:58sister of course I don't particularly
5:01need to forget everything to know it's
5:03weird I'm kind of at the point now where
5:06occasionally a young person will walk up
5:08to me they'll be behind me and I'll hear
5:10hear somebody yell out brother
5:16Elms my God son who are you talking
5:20to I'm called I've called my my
5:23father-in-law brother uren until the day
5:27he gave his daughter to me in marriage
5:29until the very day I called and
5:31sometimes even after on accident
5:33and now I'm sitting
5:35here on the other
5:38side and I'm thinking what what do I
5:41call him I can't call him brother uran
5:44anymore I just avoid it all together I
5:46say hey
5:49Doc hey man depending on the context of
5:53the conversation if we're talking
5:54basketball I'll say
5:56bro but what do you do I I it's so hard
5:59I remember recently and he doesn't even
6:02know this I I called him dad which I'm
6:04trying to transition into I'm like Hey
6:07Dad and he's so not used to hearing dad
6:11that he just didn't even look up and so
6:14I immediately changed the
6:18subject and in fact I think I just left
6:20I went to the
6:22kitchen I know that that we we call each
6:25other brother and sister because we're
6:28all in the family of God and I know that
6:31it brings a level of respect and and
6:33love and unity and equality because when
6:36you call each other brother and sister
6:37we're all on the same Level Playing
6:40Field as siblings under
6:43Christ but I get it's a little
6:48weird and I I I remember how embarrassed
6:52I would be in school Mr chanon who my
6:55fifth grade teacher he was maybe my
6:57favorite teacher of them all um he was
7:01so awesome he he gave me my first
7:02attention
7:05because I was singing in
7:07class and uh and he kept telling me not
7:10to and then I I
7:12continued I remember he he kept me
7:16humble Mr charington
7:17did he was nice to us though he was
7:20awesome he was more like an uncle than a
7:22teacher I had just one
7:25time I just learned a new card trick and
7:29uh I wanted to look cool there's this
7:32girl named gabri had a Hu huge crush on
7:35so sorry about that
7:37Sophia speaking of which I'm I'm
7:39thankful to have my wonderful wife with
7:41me

7:43today she looks beautiful and nobody can
7:47convince me
7:49otherwise um or I'll have to hold back
7:52with the the Holy Spirit um in defense
7:54of that statement um but he he was
7:59lecturing and I wanted to show everybody
8:01you know I I could show the cards but
8:05not just overhand like everybody could
8:07but I could do
8:09the you know you can do the the bridge
8:11the rainbow is what you call it that's a
8:13weird name it's bridge and I go and I
8:16want to show everybody I could do it and
8:19of course he's actively teaching us a
8:22lesson and I'm Shuffling and I'm
8:25watching the eyes start looking at me
8:27and I'm you know I'm fifth grade I'm
8:28feeling myself a little bit I wasn't
8:31quite yet chubby but I was getting
8:33there and it was the next four or five
8:36years it'd be really bad but this was
8:38like kind of my Peak okay I was like the
8:40fastest I was the third fastest guy in
8:42my class and um I I was doing it I was
8:47getting the attention of everybody and
8:49Mr chingon because he's so cool he
8:52stopped teaching and he walks over to me
8:54he's like hey I know a game we could
8:56play and I was like this guy's sick you
8:58know he's going to stop teaching just to
9:01play game with me and he said yeah it's
9:02called pickup
9:0452 and uh I'm like pickup 52 okay how
9:09are the rules he he taught me how to
9:11play pickup 52 a game I was not
9:14particularly in love
9:16with the rules are very simple the
9:19person who brought the cards to disrupt
9:21the class holds the deck out in the palm
9:23of their open
9:24hand then the teacher who is fed up with
9:27giving warnings to not Shuffle the cards
9:29during the lesson smacks the deck out of
9:32the students open hand and then tells
9:33them to pick up the 52 cards put them
9:36into their backpack and do not bring
9:37them out
9:41again he made me write my name down a
9:43hundred times because I kept forgetting
9:45to write it on my homework and I didn't
9:47want I I didn't want to get in trouble
9:49with Mr charington but I really didn't
9:51want to get in trouble with my parents
9:53and so they couldn't watch me write my
9:56name a 100 times so I did it during
9:58church and uh Tuesday night you know
10:00Dad's preaching mom's trying to figure
10:02out an Al to call or she's filing her
10:05nails that's her way of focusing I used
10:07to make fun of her for it all the time
10:08but it's it's her way of listening which
10:11doesn't make a lot of sense until I
10:12realize that's why I bump my knees the
10:14whole time because I'm just listening
10:17but uh so I stood over here sat over
10:19here literally where Austin is right now
10:21which by the way I I noticed you wanted
10:23to look like me so badly that you
10:25shaved um you know I thought mantel came
10:28from older to younger but I'm glad to
10:30share this with you
10:34and I'm writing my name I found that if
10:37I write five vertical lines down the
10:39whole sheet I could write my name faster
10:42because Ethan if I did a long line I
10:43could just do the crosses for the e t h
10:48i did the A and then Elms I did e l l
10:52was easy just all the way
10:55down and then I did M and S and the rest
10:58of
10:59them that was I I mean I loved Mr
11:02charington
11:04but
11:05uh I
11:08remember this actually doesn't matter
11:10but I do want to say it one more time I
11:11remember Mr charington telling everybody
11:13how he completely turned his life around
11:15and became a teacher and how he used to
11:16have like long dreadlocks and how he
11:19none of us believed him because he had
11:22the the cleanest tape but he was that
11:23was almost bald and uh he brought them
11:28the next day in a Ziploc
11:30bag and I got to like squeeze it like
11:35Play-Doh and I asked him I was like do
11:38they smell bad and he's like you can
11:39smell it and I said I'm
11:42okay and uh I remember how embarrassed I
11:45was and really when I realized it's kind
11:47of weird that we call each other brother
11:48and sister and I I have a feeling I'm
11:50not the only one if you grew up in
11:52church who has done this but I raised my
11:55hand and Mr charington said yes Ethan I
11:59said brother charington
12:03may I use the
12:05restroom and he was like
12:09what
12:11embarrassment we do some weird things in
12:14church but we have reasons for them I
12:18remember the first time I joined the men
12:21in the separate group in the back to
12:23wash
12:24feet now nobody explained to me I mean I
12:28knew about it I know now that it's
12:31symbolic it's not a day trip to the
12:35spa I didn't know that 13 14year old me
12:38didn't know that I
12:39remember uh praying for this
12:42man and uh you know now I know that
12:46washing feet is is more so like you put
12:49your hand on their feet and pray for
12:50them then like occasionally you gently
12:52like Ladle water down their
12:55feet but I didn't know
12:59that so I thought well how do I wash my
13:01feet in the shower
13:05and so I'm you
13:08know I'm scrubbing off
13:11calluses at one point this is not a lie
13:15at one point I had my fingers in between
13:18toes that's nasty
13:21man that was nasty but they received a
13:24special blessing that
13:28day we do some weird things in the
13:31church but we have have reasons to do
13:35them Jesus washed his disciples feet at
13:37a time when you actually had to wash
13:40your feet they're wearing sandals if you
13:42weren't Barefoot and you'd get all kind
13:44of diseases and they're just nasty toes
13:46in general and so you had to wash your
13:48feet when you walk into
13:50houses it it it would be more so like in
13:53today's day and age maybe shining
13:55someone's shoes that would make maybe a
13:57little bit more sense but it it's a
13:59symbolic thing where you are saying I'm
14:01willing to serve and bless and prefer my
14:05brother over myself or my sister over
14:09myself this is what it was doing and
14:12this is kind of my concern for the new
14:16convert or for someone who's never been
14:18in this building before or even someone
14:20who was born into the truth but has
14:22never been hungry enough to know the why
14:25I'm
14:26concerned that we do things and we don't
14:29know why we do
14:31them it's a danger place to be in when
14:34you only do what you're told and not
14:36what you've
14:37studied this is what Peter is
14:40referencing when he says in 1 Peter 3:15
14:42but
14:43sanctify the Lord God in your hearts and
14:47be ready always to give an answer to
14:50every man that askthe a reason of the
14:55hope that is in you with meekness and
14:56fear this is why we are a Bible
14:59believing
15:00church this is why the best thing you
15:02can do for yourself if you really want
15:04to grow in Christ is firstly when the
15:06altar call is given
15:08respond because God changes lives at the
15:11altar call and secondly when the
15:14preacher's finished you go home and you
15:16read the verses he read to you and you
15:18read the context and you learn it for
15:22yourself and as the person on this side
15:25of the pulpit I am held accountable for
15:28preaching the truth I'm held accountable
15:31for the things that I've said I'm held
15:32accountable if I don't give you the
15:35method of Salvation if I don't tell you
15:38what the Bible tells you I am held
15:40accountable for that but you are held
15:44accountable as The Listener for not only
15:47the things you know and the things you
15:49do but the things you could have known
15:52and the things you could have
15:54done if I warn you that the roads are
15:58slick especially right after it rains
16:00and you choose to to speed and and you
16:03crash it is not my responsibility
16:06because I told
16:07you and if I tell you to make sure to
16:10check the weather before you go you
16:13don't and it rains and you speed and you
16:16crash it's it's not my responsibility
16:19but it is your
16:20responsibility to know and it's your
16:23responsibility to learn what you know
16:26and what you could have known is what
16:29you're held responsible for today I want
16:32to talk about something that's often
16:33sang about often preached about often
16:38referenced but something that is so
16:40heavy on my spirit I want to I want to
16:42talk about the blood of Jesus
16:45Christ and I understand it's weird that
16:50we talk about blood so much kind of
16:53sounds cultish I understand that blood
16:57is a is a weird subject if you've never
16:59heard about the Bible if you've never
17:00heard about Jesus Christ if you've not
17:02heard anything and you walk into a
17:04service and they're singing songs like I
17:06know it was the blood I know it was the
17:09blood I know it was the blood that saved
17:11me you're going to be like
17:13what is this like a like a plasma
17:19center but there's a reason behind all
17:22that and I'm I'm probably going to teach
17:24more than I preach I'll probably get
17:25excited but um my plan is to teach I
17:29want you to leave with an understanding
17:31today
17:33I've seen a whole lot of survival
17:35shows some fake some real I watched Man
17:39versus wild with Bear Grills dude was a
17:42gangster ate the nastiest bugs on planet
17:45Earth for generally no
17:48reason I I've seen dual survivor
17:52survivor man
17:54alone before you cancelled me okay I've
17:57never seen naked and
18:00afraid but there's all these different
18:01survival shows and and they all say
18:04pretty much the same thing if you're
18:05going to survive you need fire you need
18:09water you need food you need shelter but
18:12if you're going to be rescued if you are
18:15trying to be saved you have to follow
18:18the river follow the nearest source of
18:21water and and and follow it till you get
18:23to the river and on the banks of the
18:26river there's always life if you follow
18:27the river long
18:29enough so today I I'm telling you
18:32if you want to be saved follow this
18:36Crimson stream of blood with
18:39me it flows from the beginning of your
18:42Bible through the Old Testament through
18:45the New Testament and it's going to flow
18:49at this altar today at the conclusion of
18:51this message I don't want to be long
18:53I've got way more notes way more Bible
18:56verses than I have time I have a problem
18:58when it comes to preaching it's a good
19:00problem but I try to pack as many script
19:02scriptures as I can and I I've got to
19:04dial that back because I want somebody's
19:06life to be changed today
19:09okay our first encounter with the word
19:12blood and its importance come from comes
19:15from the story of Cain and Abel so they
19:17are the the first sons of Adam and Eve
19:21they're two brothers firstborn of Adam
19:24and Eve and both of them give this um
19:28offering to God it's not quite a
19:30sacrifice yet they're offerings until
19:32Moses gives the law and them their
19:34sacrifices they bring this offering and
19:36Abel brings the first uh the firstlings
19:39of his flock as an offering and Cain
19:43brings forth the the fruit of the ground
19:45now God respects Abel's offering but he
19:50does not have respect for Cain there's
19:51many reasons for this the the the basis
19:54of it is because there's power in blood
19:56yes and even deeper than that it doesn't
20:00specify that Cain gave the first of his
20:03fruit he just gave the fruit of the
20:04ground and it specifies that Abel gave
20:07the firstlings of his flock but let's
20:10pick up this story in Genesis 4:
20:138-10 and Cain talked with Abel his
20:16brother and it came to pass after Cain's
20:19already been wroth and God tells him why
20:22are you why is your countenance Fallen
20:24if you do well you'll be approved you'll
20:26be accepted but and it came to pass when
20:29they were in the field that Cain rose up
20:32again against Abel his brother and slew
20:35him and the Lord said unto Cain where is
20:39Abel thy
20:40brother Cain whether this was snarky
20:43this was kind of a backhanded response
20:45to God or whether he was terrified we
20:47don't really
20:48know but he
20:50said I know not am I My Brother's
20:56Keeper and he said what hast thou
21:01done the voice of thy brother's blood
21:05cries up to me unto me from the ground
21:09Abel's blood was crying up from the
21:12ground unto God and the Bloodshed of an
21:15innocent man was first shed here and it
21:19stained the Earth and changed the fate
21:22of
21:23humanity but the blood that fell down
21:25into the Earth it continues to flow
21:28forward the next place we see an
21:31importance of this this this topic this
21:33theme this saving power of the blood is
21:37from Noah now Noah has just survived the
21:41whole Earth being
21:43flooded 40 days and 40 nights and
21:47finally he's off of this Ark he's on
21:51Solid Ground once again and this is what
21:53he does Genesis chapter 8 beginning
21:55verse 20 and Noah build an altar unto
21:59the Lord and took of every clean beast
22:01and of every clean fowl and offered
22:03burnt offerings on the Altar and the
22:07Lord smelled a sweet
22:11Savor and the Lord said in his heart I
22:13will not curse the ground anymore for
22:16man's sake for the imagination of Heart
22:18of man's heart is evil from his youth
22:21neither will I again Smite any more
22:23living thing as I have done while the
22:26Earth remainest remaineth seed time and
22:30harvest and cold cold and heat and
22:33summer and winter and day and night
22:36shall not
22:39cease this offering unto God was a sweet
22:42smelling
22:44Savor but you'll find if you'll just
22:46keep reading the word of God that that
22:49blood wasn't
22:51enough the blood flows
22:54farther and now the next place we find
22:57the significance of the blood is with
23:00Abraham now Abraham was given a promise
23:02of God because he was a faithful man and
23:05God promises him I will make your seed
23:08like the stars in the sky like the sand
23:11on the shore it will be innumerable but
23:13the problem is his wife is Barren and
23:17cannot have children people ask him
23:19what's your name he says Abraham it
23:21means father of Nations father of a
23:23nation and and they're like oh man how
23:26many how many kids do you have says I've
23:29got zero zero kids
23:32we're working on it you know we're
23:34trying and he can't bar Sarah has a a
23:38Barren womb he tries in his own flesh to
23:41have one with his his uh his servant but
23:43it's not the will of God and finally
23:47after all this time God gives him the
23:51promise he has a son God miraculously
23:54heals Sarah's womb and they have Isaac
23:56and we finally see here where God is is
24:00keeping up with his Covenant healing his
24:02wife making it seem like it's finally
24:05going to come to pass in their old age
24:07but it's in this moment where God has
24:10one final test for
24:13Abraham Abraham he he he's
24:16wondering if Abraham is fallen in love
24:19with the promise of God or the god of
24:22the
24:24promise and so let's read and this is a
24:27little bit more extensive reading here
24:29but you're sitting so it's okay
24:32Genesis CH 22 beginning in verse one and
24:35it came to pass after these things that
24:37God did tempt Abraham and said unto him
24:39Abraham and he said behold here I am he
24:43said take now thy son thine only son
24:45Isaac whom thou lovest and get thee into
24:48the land of Mariah and offer him there
24:52for a burnt offering upon one of the
24:54mountains which I shall tell thee
24:56of Abraham is thinking to himself I'm
25:00sure what
25:02this is my
25:04promise what what are you going to do
25:06here we find out later from Hebrews that
25:08his silence was not because he doubted
25:10God but because he had full faith in God
25:13because Hebrews tells us that it was
25:15accounted unto him for righteousness
25:17because he believed that God could raise
25:19Isaac from the
25:22dead and Abraham rose up early in the
25:24morning verse three and he saddled his
25:27donkey I know I could say it legally
25:28because it's in the Bible but I just
25:30don't feel like saying it it's still
25:31uncomfortable
25:33and took two of his young men with him
25:35and Isaac his son and clave the wood for
25:37the burnt offering and Rose up and went
25:40unto the place of which God had told him
25:42Abraham followed after what God told him
25:45to do
25:47then on the third day Abraham lifted up
25:50his eyes and saw the place AAR off and
25:52Abraham said unto this young man to his
25:55young men abide ye here with the donkey
25:57and I and the lad will go Yonder and
25:59worship and come again to you that's the
26:02faith he has we're going to go up there
26:06we're going to worship and whether he
26:07has me kill my son or
26:09not I love him too much to fail him now
26:12and he's not going to give up on me I
26:14know it we will come again to you both
26:17of us and Abraham took the wood of the
26:20burnt offering and laid it upon Isaac's
26:22son and took the fire in his hand and a
26:24knife and they both went
26:26together verse 7 and Isaac spake unto
26:29Abraham his father and said my father
26:33you know Abraham's response he always
26:34responds the same way here am I my son
26:38he said behold the fire and the wood but
26:41where is the Lamb for a burnt
26:44offering and Abraham said my son God
26:47will provide himself a
26:50lamb for a burnt offering so they went
26:54both of them together and they came to
26:57the place where God had told him of and
26:59Abraham built an altar there and laid
27:01the wood in order
27:02and bound Isaac his son and laid him on
27:07the altar upon the wood and Abraham
27:09stretched forth his hand took the knife
27:11to slay his son and the angel of the
27:13Lord called unto him out of heaven and
27:15said Abraham
27:18Abraham I can almost imagine Abraham
27:22quaking says here am
27:25I and he said lay not thy hand upon the
27:28lad neither do anything to him for now I
27:31know that thou fearest God seeing that
27:35thou Hast not withheld thy son thy only
27:38son from
27:39me and Abraham lifted his eyes and
27:43looked and behold behind him a
27:47ram caught in the thicket by his
27:51horns this is the the offering God gave
27:55in the place of Isaac a ram caught in a
27:58Thicket by his horns and Abraham went
28:01and took the RAM and offered him up for
28:03a burnt offering in the set of his son
28:05and Abraham called the name of that
28:06place Jehovah Gyra as it is said to this
28:11day in the Mount of the Lord it shall be
28:13seen now Jehovah Gyra means the Lord God
28:22provides and you can't find out that
28:25God's a
28:26provider until you offer him
28:29something and if you will give a a
28:32sacrifice God won't make you do it alone
28:36but he will provide something for you
28:38and if you want to know Jesus as your
28:41provider you've got to give him a
28:43sacrifice of
28:44[Applause]
28:48something follow now follow now cuz the
28:51blood's getting
28:53stronger finally we find this ultimate
28:57Peak it seems in the Old Testament of
29:00what the blood does
29:02because
29:04Moses was saved in the
29:06Nile and fleed from
29:09Egypt and then he goes and he returns to
29:12Egypt this time God is with him and he's
29:16going to free the people of God the
29:18Israelites
29:20and Pharaoh's heart is hardened by
29:23God so so God told him Moses this was
29:27going to happen he said but these things
29:30have to be and all these different
29:32plagues hit Egypt there's there's um
29:35lice there's a swarm there's frogs nasty
29:38there's the Nile turning into blood all
29:40those fish dying nasty there's Darkness
29:43all all these terrible things but it all
29:45ends with this grand finale of of
29:49seemingly evil but really
29:53judgment they call it the
29:55Passover God tells Moses I will send the
29:58death
30:00angel and he will pass pass by every
30:02house and he will take the life of every
30:06firstborn this is the judgment on the
30:08Egyptians because they took the lives of
30:11every firstborn this is what Moses was
30:14removed from saved from the death of the
30:18firstborn and this is what the Lord says
30:20to Moses Exodus 12 for I will pass
30:24through the land of Egypt this night and
30:26will Smite all the firstborn in the land
30:28of Egypt both man and Beast and against
30:30all the gods of Egypt I will execute
30:33judgment I am the
30:37Lord and the blood shall be to you for a
30:40token upon the houses where you are and
30:43when I see the
30:45blood I will pass over you and the
30:49plague shall not be upon you to destroy
30:52you when I smite in the land of Egypt so
30:55Moses then tells the people to follow
30:57this very specific and critical detail
31:02uh explanation from
31:04God 12: 21-
31:0724 this all right it's it's more of a
31:09Bible study it's kind of a Tuesday night

31:13but verse 21 then Moses called for all
31:16the Elders of Israel and said unto them
31:18draw out and take you a lamb according

32:06doorstep the doorway the walkway the
32:09place where you enter and on the sides

32:15the Basin and none of you shall go out
32:18at the door of his house until the
32:20morning for the Lord will pass through
32:23and smite the Egyptians and when he
32:25seeth the blood upon the lentil and the
32:28two side posts the Lord will pass over

32:35come in unto your houses and smite you
32:37and you shall observe this thing for an
32:40ordinance to thee and to thy Sons
32:44forever so God Saves the people who have
32:48the blood of the Passover Lamb placed
32:52over their posts and over their lentil

32:56footboards how does this Blood apply to
32:59me today
33:02why is it not weird to plead the blood
33:05of Jesus
33:07Christ what's so special about these Old
33:10Testament stories you see in the Bible
33:12blood had to be shed in order to remove
33:16sin that's what the book of Hebrews
33:18tells
33:19us blood had to be shed in order to
33:21remove in order to remove Sin from the
33:24moment that God gave Moses the law he
33:27required the blood of a spotless lamb to
33:31remove sins but the problem is there is
33:34no perfect blood unless there is a
33:38perfect
33:40sacrifice there had to be a
33:42man who could live a sinless life who
33:46had special blood who would be willing
33:49to give his life as a sacrifice to pay
33:53for men's sins right and God knew there
33:57was no man on Earth who could do this
34:03and this is why it's so important to
34:05understand this this this is everything
34:07this is
34:09everything God is a spirit they that
34:12worship Him must worship Him in spirit
34:14and in truth but the problem is a spirit
34:16can't
34:17bleed Spirit can't
34:19die Spirit cannot give its
34:22life so God
34:25himself came down in flesh he was
34:30manifested in flesh flesh and fulfilled
34:32the prophets and the law this is
34:35everything you can't get anything from
34:37the Bible if you don't know
34:41this what made the blood of Jesus so
34:44powerful it was God In the
34:47Flesh not him sending some son or third
34:50person to do his Dirty Work It was God

34:58to talk about the Oneness of God

36:05as received him to them gave he power to
36:09become the sons of God even to them that
36:13believe on his
36:16name which we were born not of
36:19blood nor of the will of the flesh nor
36:22of the will of man but of God and this
36:25is why it's so important we couldn't be
36:28born into that Royal bloodline it's
36:31possible to be born into it only one has
36:35and only one can verse 14 tells us and
36:38the Word was made flesh and dwelt among
36:42us and we beheld his glory the glory as
36:44of the
36:46only begotten of the father full of
36:49grace and truth so how can I be born
36:52into that bloodline if it's only one
36:55person who is the begotten Son of
36:57God well you must be born again
37:02Jesus explained this to Nicodemus in
37:04John chapter 3 he said Marvel not that I
37:06say you must be born again you must be
37:08born again of the water and of the
37:12spirit that's like three pages from now

37:18down Paul wrote this in Colossians
37:21Colossians chapter 2 verse 9 is this all
37:25right we're going to have a move of God
37:27in this altar call but I need you to
37:29follow this stream of blood with me all
37:32right for in him
37:35Jesus dwelleth all the fullness of the
37:39godhead
37:41bodily and ye are
37:44complete in him which is the head of all
37:48principality and
37:50power we we get so confused because
37:52nowadays we we deal with the Trinity a
37:57word that was not even made until
37:58hundreds of years after Jesus died
38:02and so it it causes us to be confused

38:14confused by Paul's greetings because he
38:16always opens his letters and he seems to
38:18be referencing Jesus as the son and God
38:20as the father as if they're two separate
38:22people but that's not what he's
38:25doing he's making sure you understand
38:28something that you cannot understand the
38:30rest of epistle until you get this right
38:34we have to shift our vision when we read
38:36the Bible because it was written um for
38:40us but not to us it was written to the
38:43people of that time written for us but
38:46not to
38:47us the Bible back then had a completely
38:51different context in that time and we
38:54have to go back to that time that Paul
38:56is writing this in if we are to
38:59understand fully what he's saying he's
39:00saying saying the separation of God the
39:04Father and Jesus the son for a specific
39:07purpose now we've already established
39:08that God cannot have an
39:10equal he cannot have a rival that is as
39:13powerful as he is he can't share his
39:16power with anybody else or else there
39:18wouldn't just be

39:21one that is the foundation of all the
39:25Commandments here's my red letters to
39:27back that up Jesus said this in Mark
39:2912:28 and one of the scribes came and
39:31having heard them reason together and
39:33perceiving that he had answered them

39:59shalt love thy neighbor as thyself there
40:01is none other commandment greater than
40:04these this is the greatest commandment
40:07in the Bible that God is

41:48this is why every single letter that
41:51Paul wrote he opens it within the first
41:53few verses with either this identically
41:56or he adds a few other adjectives Grace
41:58be unto you and peace peace Grace and
42:03peace from God the
42:05Father the Lord bless thee be gracious
42:08unto you and give you peace and from the
42:12Lord Jesus Christ he is saying that
42:17God's blessings of peace and Grace is in
42:21his name the name of
42:25Jesus you want peace from God the Father
42:28you find it in the name of Jesus you
42:31want joy and and and grace and mercy
42:34from God the Father you find it in Jesus
42:37Christ because it's not enough to just
42:39believe God you've got to believe God
42:42wanted to save you enough that he came
42:45down in flesh and became a Man became a
42:48Son of God like you and I became flesh
42:51and gave us a name which is above every
42:53name that at the name of Jesus every
42:56knee shall bow of things of Heaven of
42:59things on earth and things under the
43:00Earth Earth and every tongue shall
43:02confess that Jesus Christ is
43:11Lord that's why Jesus has to be more
43:14than onethird of the godhead it has to
