Summary
Using the imagery of the linen ephod, Rev. Spears explores how passion and faith can transcend legalistic boundaries to secure a spiritual inheritance. He encourages believers to prioritize worship and the presence of God to shape their own destinies and those of their children.
Key points
- •The linen ephod was a specific, divinely designed garment intended only for consecrated priests over the age of thirty to signify purity and service.
- •Faith and passion can transcend the strict requirements of the law, as seen when Hannah dedicated Samuel and crafted him a linen ephod despite his age and lineage.
- •Parents have the spiritual authority to weave a destiny for their children by keeping them in the presence of God, teaching them to worship, and modeling a consecrated life.
- •Worship is not tied to a title or professional calling; King David laid aside his royal robes to wear a linen ephod, choosing the identity of a worshiper over that of a king.
- •A life defined by the 'linen ephod' of righteousness and praise prepares the believer for their eternal position in the Kingdom of God.

Commit to 'staying around the altar' this week by prioritizing your family's time in the presence of God. Consciously model worship in your home-through prayer, song, and your reactions to stress-to help your children or those around you recognize the voice of God.
Reflection questions
- In what areas of your life have you felt limited by 'logic or statistics' rather than trusting in the law of faith?
- Samuel heard the voice of God because he stayed near the presence of God. What distractions are currently making it difficult for you to hear His voice?
- Are there 'kingly robes' of pride or position you need to lay aside to become a more authentic worshiper?
- How can you begin 'weaving' a spiritual inheritance for the next generation in your life today?

0:00I I like to fish.
0:03So when we bought a home here in
0:05Florida, I am literally 90 feet from the
0:10the bay. I step out my door and I take
0:1430 steps and I step over to the curb and
0:18after the curb closer then from here to
0:20that wall is the wide open bay. So I
0:23love to fish. I have a tackle box. In
0:27fact, I have two tackle box. Well, I
0:30have three tackle boxes
0:33besides the little one.
0:35So, I like to fish. I being that close
0:39to the water for over a year, I've
0:41actually gone about three times.
0:44So, you can tell how much I love to
0:46fish.
0:48Went down there. And my big problem, I'm
0:50afraid if I fish, I'll catch something.
0:53and then what I do with it.
0:58So, today I'm fishing with a brand new
1:01lure.
1:03I I I hope it will catch.
1:07So,
1:09if the sermon doesn't take, just
1:12just say the preacher's trying a new
1:14lure and it wasn't that good.
1:17I was standing in a service at our
1:20general conference recently in which
1:23Sister Elms and her daughter, I heard
1:26them leading the singing, the worship so
1:28grandly at conference and we were
1:30blessed by that. We said, "Hey, we know
1:32those folks. Nobody up there knows us or
1:35hears us, but we know them." And we were
1:37blessed by that. And then the preacher
1:39stood up to preach a sermon. I don't
1:42know who it was,
1:44age again.
1:47All I know is when he read a scripture,
1:50I turned to my wife and this is what he
1:53read in 1 Samuel chapter 2 and verse 18.
1:59He read this scripture.
2:02But Samuel ministered [clears throat]
2:05before the Lord
2:07being a child
2:09girded with a linen ephod.
2:14And I turned to my wife and said,
2:16"Children
2:17were not supposed to wear linen ephods."
2:23I use for a subject title today, the
2:26child with the linen ephod.
2:31Linen ephod is mentioned as a garment in
2:33the Old Testament at least 40 times.
2:38The first time it was mentioned,
2:41God gave very detailed instructions. It
2:45wasn't just here's here's a coat from uh
2:51or suit or dress from Dillards. Here's a
2:54better one from Goodwill. It wasn't that
2:57way, but he gave very detailed
3:01instruction to its style,
3:04its design, material. obviously being
3:08lined and ephod just wasn't of any
3:11material. God designed the color it
3:15should be very detailed. In fact, in
3:18Exodus 28, there are several scriptures
3:21just describing a leninifod. So, it
3:25seemed to be rather important to God and
3:28for Israel to understand. And then God
3:32spent more scriptures describing who was
3:38to wear the linen in FOD and where it
3:42was to be worn.
3:44Was it to be worn to a celebration of a
3:47wedding, as joyous as that may be,
3:50>> was not to be worn in the marketplace
3:53when you just needed to look nice or
3:55needed to be in a hurry. It was not to
3:58be worn in the fields.
4:01It was not a holiday attire. And I can't
4:06volunteer to be a wise man, but I could
4:08might be one of the animals.
4:12[sighs]
4:13I served his turkey for Thanksgiving.
4:15So,
4:18it was not to be worn in the
4:19marketplace. It was not to be worn. In
4:22fact, it was only to be worn by
4:25scripture. Specifically, it said the
4:29priests are to wear the lead and ephod.
4:33It's named it. This is who wears it.
4:39Not kings priest,
4:42>> not the wisest priest,
4:47not the wealthiest priest, not the most
4:50influential. It was specifically
4:53described and proscribed who was to wear
4:57it. And then God said this is why they
5:01are to wear it. It represents service
5:05and declares purity and dedication.
5:10So when you saw someone with the linen
5:12ephod, you knew two things. One, you
5:14knew who was wearing it was a priest.
5:17and what they were wearing represented
5:20their consecration and their service and
5:23a dedication to God. Now there were
5:27further qualifications. You could not
5:30enter the priesthood and wear a lenod
5:35until you reached uh the age 30.
5:37According to Numbers chapter 4, there
5:40were some instances in which some people
5:43could serve very minimal roles around
5:47the tabernacle, but to wear a linen and
5:49ephod. This is what it said. There were
5:53some duties that were done when a man
5:54turned age 25, but those were very
5:57minimal and their service was very
5:59mundane and functional, not spiritual.
6:03But the law and the policy guiding the
6:07linen ephod prescribed it specifically.
6:11But there were that was the law.
6:14That's what the book said. That's what
6:18Moses wrote down.
6:21>> But Paul wrote in the book of Galatians
6:24concerning faith. He said against such
6:29there is no law.
6:31>> Amen.
6:33So although the law was written to be
6:36very specific, sometimes there were
6:39things that were omitted and were not
6:43clarified by the law.
6:45>> Yes.
6:46>> And there were some people that realized
6:48that. So Paul said, I want to tell you a
6:51little something about faith. There is
6:53no law against faith. That's
6:56interesting. Remember that
6:59faith is above all circumstances.
7:03Faith is not controlled by the courts,
7:07>> the laws of the land,
7:09>> the decrees of the judge,
7:13>> or the order of the doctor.
7:16>> Faith takes the mountain and cast it
7:19into the sea.
7:21Even though logic and reason and
7:24statistics and facts says it cannot
7:28happen
7:29>> against faith there is no law.
7:34>> So mercy and grace has no limits.
7:38So what God responded to in the
7:41scripture were people who looked beyond
7:45just the requirements and the
7:48specification of the law and found not
7:51loopholes but they found opportunities.
7:55Example the book says it's appointed
7:59unto man once to die. That's what the
8:03book said. But Enoch
8:06transcended that law
8:09>> by just simply walking with God.
8:14>> And the book says, "You're going to go
8:15the way of all men."
8:17>> Yes.
8:18>> And Edo said, "I'd rather go the way of
8:20God and and the spirit."
8:24>> And somebody may say, "Well, that was
8:26before the scripture was written." Well,
8:28let me tell you another one. For I show
8:31you a mystery. We shall not all sleep.
8:34And though it is appointed to you to go
8:37the way of all men, not everybody's
8:39going to go the way of all men.
8:43>> For the glory of God is going to
8:47descend. A trumpet is going to sound.
8:50And some people
8:52against faith there is no law. The law
8:57of nature says that the galaxy and the
9:01solar system and the sun must keep
9:04revolving. But Joshua was in a situation
9:08where he needed something more than what
9:13was available to him right now. And he
9:17said, "I I know how things have always
9:19been all of my life and my grandparents'
9:22life and everybody's life, but God, I'm
9:25in a situation. I need some things
9:28changed."
9:30And he said, "I just want the sun to
9:32stand still." And God allows people to
9:36step into the realm of faith and declare
9:40that which has never been and claim that
9:44that nobody else has claimed. When
9:48Joshua said, "We need a victory." Now,
9:52>> I tell you about tell about a little
9:54Mother's Day sermon I preached one time.
9:57There was a man by the name of Zilofiad.
10:02Zilofhi had had five daughters.
10:06One of his daughters was named Noah.
10:10Boy, I don't know if he liked that last
10:11kid or not. I mean, he named her Noah.
10:16And in Numbers 27, Noah, the girl Noah,
10:21went to Moses, and it's in your book.
10:23And he says, Moses, it is written in the
10:26law of God
10:28that men only can inherit the
10:33inheritance of their fathers when they
10:35die. But she said, "Our father has no
10:40son to inherit, and we want God's law
10:44changed."
10:47>> Wow. A woman said, "We want the law of
10:50God changed." Moses, it's just not right
10:53and it's not fair. And Moses went back
10:57and said, "God, look. I got this woman."
11:03>> And God told Moses to rewrite the law
11:10>> simply because one person said, "I want
11:13a part of a spiritual inheritance."
11:16[cheering and applause]
11:17>> It's not about the ground. It's not
11:20about the farm. It's not about the
11:22lentils. It's not about the corn, but
11:25it's to have a spiritual right to this
11:28promise and to this land. I'm trying to
11:31preach to somebody and raise you just
11:33above the limitations and let you know
11:36there is a God if you have the faith to
11:38claim it. If you have the faith to claim
11:40it. [music] Against faith, there is no
11:42law.
11:45The law of nature says a virgin cannot
11:49conceive and bear a baby. But prophecy
11:52said it's going to happen.
11:56God's own law said the Moabites cannot
11:59enter the tabernacle into the 10th
12:01generation. But this one little
12:04Moabitete girl heard about Jehovah and
12:07said to her mother-in-law, "Where you
12:09go, I'm going to go and your God's going
12:12to be my God." And three generations
12:14later, not 10 generations later, but
12:18three generations later, her grandson
12:22was named King David. Because God had a
12:25way of saying this law was not made for
12:27the man, but the man is made for the
12:30law, and you can make it work for you.
12:34>> [applause and cheering]
12:35>> And a woman by the name of Hannah
12:38>> had a baby and she said, "I want my baby
12:42to be blessed.
12:44>> I want my baby to be used of God. I want
12:47my baby to be somebody in the spiritual
12:51kingdom.
12:52>> I want him to have more than a good
12:54education. Good education's okay. I want
12:57him to be more than a wealthy
12:59businessman, and that's okay. I don't
13:02want him to be on the streets and in the
13:04gangs and drugs. I don't want his
13:08teenage years wasted until he is 30
13:12something years old and God begins to
13:15touch him. I don't want to wait until
13:18his heart till his heart is hard chasing
13:22after material things and messed up by
13:25the world because I believe what I give
13:28to God will give back to me because I
13:32want him to be a worshipper.
13:37>> Just run that by again. I want my child
13:39to be a worshipper.
13:42We're not in the priesthood, but I want
13:44my child to be a worshshiper.
13:46>> We're we're just just a poor family, but
13:48I want my kids to in the church
13:50worshiping God. I want them to be in the
13:53temple. I'd rather them to be a
13:55doorkeeper in the house of God than to
13:58be out there in the world messed up
14:00millionaires and successful people
14:04calling the world that doesn't know a
14:06thing about God. I'd rather them be a
14:09doorkeeper than the highest paid sports
14:12figure in history. I want them singing
14:15on the platform rather than Las Vegas
14:18lights. I want them to know about God.
14:25So, she gave her child to God and she
14:29found a little loophole, if I can use
14:33that word, because the law said the
14:37priest wear the linen garment.
14:40>> But if you read it carefully, it didn't
14:42say only.
14:44>> Okay?
14:46>> It said the men wear the linen garments,
14:50but it didn't say only men. and she read
14:53it somewhere and it didn't say children
14:56can't.
14:57>> It didn't say teenagers can't.
15:01>> And in fact, the law gives in another
15:05place a specific tribe was assigned.
15:08They were the ones who were to make the
15:11linen ephods. But it didn't say they
15:15were the only ones who could make a
15:17linen ephod. So she said, "If they can
15:20do it, I can do it. If anybody can be
15:24used, my kids can be used.
15:28If anybody can be blessed, I want my
15:31kids to be blessed." And she began to
15:35sow and she began to weep and she began
15:38to pray and she began to worship and she
15:42put on her child only what a priest
15:46should wear. and could wear. I'm simply
15:50telling you, you can make a difference
15:53in shaping the destiny of your child.
15:57You just keep on weaving. You keep on
16:00praying. You keep on working. You keep
16:04on believing.
16:06[screaming and cheering]
16:07[applause]
16:08And something happened in the heart of
16:12Samuel when he wore that linen. God. He
16:16was a boy like anybody else, but mama
16:19kept him around the house of God. Let me
16:21tell you, if you want your children to
16:23be used, keep them in church. Bring them
16:27around the altar. Don't rush away to
16:30McDonald's. Don't rush away to the Pizza
16:33Hut. Don't rush away to catch the
16:36beginning of the football game, but say,
16:38"Let's stay around the alt for a little
16:40while. Let's stay around here. Samuel
16:43put that garment on and something began
16:46to happen to his heart. Samuel began to
16:49enjoy the things of the house of God.
16:52You want to know something really
16:53unique? Come into this building I if you
16:57can get permission an hour or two after
17:00everybody has left a dynamic service and
17:04just bring your kids and just sit down
17:06here and pause and you will feel the
17:09lingering presence of God.
17:12Angels love the presence of God. They
17:15desire to be there. And wherever there
17:17has been a presence of God, there is a
17:20lingering angelic presence.
17:24>> And you just come around just walk in
17:26here and you you'll feel something and
17:28your kids will feel something. And
17:30something began to happen to the heart
17:32of Samuel and he said, "I want to be
17:34around this. I want to be around the
17:36presence of God. I want to be around the
17:39things of God.
17:44And when he began to do the things of
17:48worship, even though it was not his role
17:51and his calling, it became his calling.
17:55[laughter] It became his role. If you
17:58don't know how to be a worshipper, just
18:01start worshiping. If you don't know how
18:03to be a praiser, just start praising. If
18:07you don't know how to lift your hands,
18:09just try lifting your hands. [cheering]
18:13>> Somebody says, "I'm not a dancer." It's
18:16real easy. YOU PICK THEM UP, GOD WILL
18:18PUT THEM DOWN.
18:20[cheering]
18:21>> It's all it is. All you GOT TO DO IS
18:23YOUR PART. GOD will do his part. And
18:26what will happen? The more you wear the
18:28garment of praise, the more you wear the
18:31garment of worship, the more it shapes
18:34you and it becomes a part of you.
18:38>> Hallelujah.
18:40[cheering]
18:43>> And then Samuel started hearing things
18:45other people didn't hear
18:48>> because he was in the right place. This
18:51world will give you the wrong message.
18:53This world will give you the wrong
18:55direction. You can't follow the the
18:58direction of this world. But if you stay
19:00around the worship place and if you put
19:03on the garments of service and
19:05dedication and passion, you will find
19:08direction. You will hear the voice of
19:10God. You will know what to do in
19:12perplexing times. Just come and sit down
19:15and wait around the altars and you'll
19:17hear God call your name. You will hear
19:20God begin to speak to you. You will hear
19:22things that nobody else is hearing. Uh
19:25because something begins to happen when
19:27you are in his househ and you're in his
19:29presence and you're in his place. It
19:32begins to change you and you begin to
19:34look like him.
19:39>> If you put the cross on, it will change
19:42you.
19:43>> Hallelujah. Hallelujah. You see, but it
19:47doesn't matter your age. You don't have
19:50to wait till you're 30. You don't have
19:52to wait until you've been in Pentecost
19:5510 years. You don't have to wait 30
19:57years. You may have only been saved a
20:00very short time. Your parents may have
20:03not brought you to church. Your pray
20:06parents may have not been in the
20:08priesthood. All you have to do is
20:11yourself. I'm going to make me a garment
20:14of praise. I'm going to become a
20:16worshshiper. I'm going to let people see
20:19my dedication. And it's not that people
20:21see it, but I want God to see it. I love
20:24to be in this place. I love to be in his
20:27I love to be in his his uh his
20:30atmosphere. And God will make a way
20:34where there is no way. If you have the
20:37passion and the faith, God will open the
20:41door. He will make wall room for you
20:45where there is no room. He will open
20:48doors where there is a wall. All you
20:52have to do is put on the garments of
20:54worship and adoration and sacrifice. And
20:57Samuel just stayed around the altar and
21:00touched holy things.
21:02>> Oh yes.
21:04>> Touch holy things. I'm going to touch
21:07the altar today.
21:09>> I'm going to touch somebody today. I'm
21:12going to get near somebody who is a
21:14worshshiper. And those things began to
21:17change. And while others were chasing
21:20social media influencers,
21:23Samuel was chasing God. And he heard
21:26what other things didn't see.
21:30>> Leviticus said that the linen ephod
21:34would be recognized as an object of
21:38beauty and glory. And the longer Samuel
21:42wore the linen ephod, the greater the
21:46awe and the respect and the honor. He's
21:51the only judge in Israel in which I
21:53understand there was no flaw in his
21:56character. When Samuel spoke, the
21:59heavens thundered. When Samuel prayed,
22:03the miracles happened.
22:06Lightning fell on the adversary. When
22:09Samuel uttered his voice, a revival
22:11swept the land. And I would preach to
22:14you today that God is looking for a
22:16Samuel and God is looking for a Hannah.
22:19Pastor, I wish I had a better sermon
22:21today, but I just wanted to come and
22:24tell somebody out there.
22:25>> Hallelujah.
22:26>> You may be a single mom.
22:28>> Yes.
22:29>> Or a single dad.
22:30>> You may be struggling socially. You may
22:33be struggling financially. But if you
22:36have a passion, you can put into that
22:39child usability and the touch of God and
22:43the call of God and you can wrap their
22:46heart around God. The songs you sing in
22:50your apartment, [laughter] the prayers
22:53you pray in your mobile home, the way
22:56you live in your car, you're not cussing
22:59out the people that cut in front of you,
23:02but [laughter] you're magnifying God.
23:04You're putting on the lid and ephod on
23:06your child and you will make something
23:09out of them and they will never get away
23:11from their prayers. They may run here
23:13and there but they will never get away
23:15of what they have worn. I'm preaching
23:18for a Hannah today. I'm preaching for a
23:20Samuel today. Maybe you're a person here
23:23and you don't have a family. You don't
23:25have a mom. You don't have a dad. But
23:27you say, "I love the house of God. I
23:29love the tabernacle of God. I love the
23:32things of God." Just keep doing what you
23:34are doing. Wherever you go, wherever you
23:37are, don't lose your praise. Don't lose
23:40your dedication. Don't lose your
23:42sacrifice. Wear it wherever you go. And
23:45God will speak to you. [cheering]
23:48[applause]
23:52>> Hallelujah.
23:52>> There was one other person who wore a
23:55linen ethod
23:57who was not a priest.
24:00This was a grown man.
24:02This is a grown man called David.
24:07David was a king. And when the ark was
24:11returned to Jerusalem
24:13and all the priests were in their robes,
24:16their ephods, and they were magnifying
24:19God. King David was the first
24:21crossdresser.
24:26He said, "I want to take off this kingly
24:29robe because I'd rather be a worshshiper
24:33>> than a king."
24:35>> The Bible said,
24:36>> "Cuz your king in Israel in that day,
24:38you can do what you want.
24:40>> You can say what you want. You can order
24:43what you want." And he stopped the whole
24:45parade and said, "Look, I'm getting out
24:47of this chariot and I'm getting on my
24:50feet.
24:52I'm getting out of my position and I'm
24:55going to get in another one. Give me a
24:57linen ephod. I'm going to be a
25:00worshipper. What I always wanted to do
25:03when I was singing Mary had a little
25:06lamb or I was singing the Lord is my
25:09shepherd. What I really wanted to do was
25:11be in the house of God. I'd rather be a
25:13doorkeeper in there than than to be a
25:15king or anybody else. And so David got
25:18out and the and he said, "I don't care
25:20who sees me. I don't care who thinks
25:23what." And he laid aside his dignity. He
25:27put aside his position. He put aside his
25:30influence just to be a worshipper.
25:37You don't have too much money that you
25:39shouldn't worship. You don't have too
25:41many degrees that should stand in your
25:44way. Your dress or your suit should not
25:48cost more money than the CROSS COST HIM.
25:52And you should be willing to say, "I
25:54don't care. I don't need the crowds
25:57acknowledgement. I don't need their
25:59praise. I just want to be a worshshiper
26:03in the house of God."
26:05[cheering and applause]
26:06So, it doesn't matter where you came
26:08from. You may have just been a poor boy
26:11in the slums. You may have grown up on
26:13the farm like David, BUT GOD WILL MAKE a
26:17way and he will accept your worship.
26:21You don't have TO HAVE A CALLING. YOU
26:23DON'T HAVE TO HAVE A POSITION. YOU
26:25SIMPLY HAVE TO HAVE THE PASSION that I
26:29want to be a worshipper and a praiser.
26:39Blessed are they
26:40>> which do hunger and thirst. Blessed are
26:44they.
26:46>> Because if you got that passion,
26:48>> if you have that desire,
26:50>> if you have that way down in your heart,
26:53and I believe there are people, I know
26:55there are people here today.
27:04I I I could let me pick on Pastor and
27:08Sister Helms a moment. These are the
27:10most humble people. And this guy
27:15Moses may have to move over when you get
27:17there.
27:22>> With their knowledge, with their wisdom,
27:25they they could be so arrogant. They
27:27could be so proud, their backgrounds,
27:30their history, their experience, their
27:32skill, their knowledge. But yet they
27:34even let me come down here and preach
27:36for them of all people. But these are
27:38the humblest people. God says, "That's
27:42who I love. That's who I'm going to
27:45exalt." You're going to two services.
27:47I'm just wondering when you're going to
27:48make the third service. What time are
27:50you going to do that one?
27:52Because I simply know that when God sees
27:55somebody with a heart and a spirit and
27:58attitude, you humble yourself, God will
28:01exalt you. And David said, "I'm just
28:04going to get up." Yes.
28:08[cheering]
28:09>> Doesn't look too dignified, but it sure
28:11feels good.
28:14>> Feels better than sitting in that
28:15chariot looking down on everybody else.
28:18God said, "I'm going to make your
28:20kingdom, the kingdom of David, to last
28:22forever. It's going to be a permanent
28:24kingdom. If you want some permanency,
28:27become a worshipper. Your money will not
28:29last, but your worship will endure.
28:33Your skill and your position in your
28:35business may not survive uh but the
28:37praises UH THAT YOU GIVE HIM ARE WRITTEN
28:40DOWN AND GOD WILL reward and pass it on
28:44generation to generation to gener
28:48[applause]
28:51because if you wear the linen garment
28:54you become elevated.
28:57And I heard as it were the voice of
28:59great multitude and the voice of many
29:02waters and the voice of mighty
29:04thunderings. And you know I'm reading
29:06from Revelation 19 where it says
29:09hallelujah for the Lord God omnipotent
29:12reignth. Let us be glad and rejoice and
29:15give honor to him for the marriage of
29:17the lamb has come and his wife has made
29:20herself ready and to her was granted
29:24that she should be arrayed in fine
29:26linen. Wait, there was no her
29:32anywhere in history. It was only a male
29:34position.
29:37But God says to her, I don't care
29:40whether you're man or woman,
29:42>> doesn't matter who you are, where you
29:43came from, if you will give God the
29:46glory and give God the honor,
29:49>> he will elevate you and allow you to
29:53wear everlasting [clears throat]
29:55righteousness.
29:58everlasting.
30:02>> Just go to on and on and on and on.
30:07>> Nobody's going to look at you and say,
30:09"Boy, he had two doctor's degrees." It's
30:13good if you do. We need those. Nobody's
30:16going to look at you and say, "He was a
30:17multi-millionaire at age 40."
30:20>> We need those. All the things you need.
30:22But what they're going to look over
30:24there because they find Leonard gave
30:27honor to him.
30:28>> They're going to look at you and say,
30:30"Look at that worshshiper. Look at that
30:32praiser. Look at the
30:38>> What was that ironing board song you
30:39sang pastor?
30:41I need thee." Now, he's all I need.
30:45Honey, I've heard that song sung for 78
30:48years, but I've never heard the ironing
30:50board version.
30:53I I I just wish I I just wish I would
30:55had a video of that. The ironing board
30:57version that would go viral. Don't do
31:01that to your pastor.
31:03But he's all I need. And what you will
31:06be known as a worshshiper and it would
31:08say come on in. Not because of what
31:10you've achieved, but because you deserve
31:13the fine linen. You have
31:16>> what you are working for. You will
31:17achieve over there. define
31:19righteousness. Uh we're striving for it
31:22now. We're worshiping for it now. We're
31:24trying for it now. But when we get over
31:27there, you're going to suddenly look
31:28around and say, "I made it. I made it.
31:32I'm here. We're here, brother. We
31:35finally made it. We've run the end of
31:37our race. Uh we've served. We've
31:40sacrificed. We've dedicated. And God is
31:43going to give you the highest position."
31:45Right. It goes on to say that he's going
31:48to make you to sit on thrones. You talk
31:51about David sitting on an earthly
31:53throne. You're going to be sitting on a
31:55heavenly throne. That's the highest
31:58position in the entire world. That's
32:01higher than any political position.
32:03That's higher than being the CEO of your
32:06business. That's higher than being the
32:09best known sports figure in America. to
32:13sit on his throne with him in his glory
32:15when he comes to rule and reign. All
32:19you've got to do is want to be a
32:21worshshiper.
32:23I just wonder if there's somebody in the
32:25house that will stand and lift your
32:27hands and say, "God, I want to be a
32:30worshipper. I want to put onto my
32:32family. I'm going to exhibit worship.
32:35I'm going to demonstrate praise. Uh I'm
32:38going to show them what it's like.
32:40Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Come on
32:45now. Let's take it a step. Father,
32:47whether you're a visitor or a member,
32:49would you take your child, if you don't
32:52have your child, maybe your spouse
32:55representing what we're going to do for
32:58our family. We're going to make a
33:00difference. And you'll just simply walk
33:02down this aisle together and say, "We're
33:04going to put linen ephods in our family.
33:07We're going to wear them at our home.
33:09Thank you. And if you're a single
33:10person, come on by yourself because you
33:13are a family. God said, "I make the
33:15solitary to sit in families. You're a
33:18solitary. You're a family." And God will
33:20take you and God will utilize you and
33:23God will minister through you. And he
33:26becomes glorified and he becomes
33:28magnified by your praise and by your
33:31worship. Come on. If you're a visitor
33:33here, join us. If you want to make a
33:36difference in your kids' life, if you
33:38want to make a difference in this drug
33:40craze world, if you want to make a
33:42difference in this insane world, if you
33:44want to hear them something, hear them
33:46to hear something a little higher than
33:48what the school is telling them, what
33:51the music is telling them, come on and
33:53become a worshipper.
33:55Hallelujah. Lift your hands to him all
33:57over this building now. You're doing it
34:00right now. Hallelujah. Yes. Yes. Yes.
34:04Hallelujah.
34:05Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah.
34:09Thank you, [music] Jesus. Thank you,
34:11Jesus. Thank you, Jesus. Come on. Start
