0:01What an honor it is to be here this
0:03morning.
0:05What a great family
0:08that God has allowed me to be a part of.
0:11For those of you first generation
0:14Pentecostals that wonder
0:17if you'll ever really fit in, you fit in
0:20already.
0:22This church wouldn't be what it is
0:24without you.
0:27>> Thank God for those that have been
0:28around a long time, but we honor those
0:30that are just getting started as well.
0:35>> I'm I'm a first generation
0:37Pentecostal in the church. Uh well, none
0:41of my family was in church when I came.
0:45and um
0:48I found a new family,
0:51family of God.
0:54I want to bring our attention this
0:56morning
0:58to the book of Psalms
1:03and the Elms families, the greatest
1:05families, and by extension, the Hail
1:08family. Kind of
1:11Sister Elms is daddy sort of. I haven't
1:14said it officially, but in a way, he's
1:16kind of like an elder to us, [music] to
1:19our church. I want our church to hear
1:21his voice every year while he can travel
1:25and minister because, well, you know
1:28what? [music] Every church needs the
1:30voice of an elder.
1:34I talk like I'm not one.
1:37Heard somebody say, "I was just minding
1:39my own business. Next thing you know,
1:41I'm the same age as old people are.
1:46Psalm 144 and1. Blessed be the Lord, my
1:50strength, which teaches my hands to war
1:54and my fingers to fight.
1:59Exodus [music] 8 16 and 17.
2:04So the Lord said to Moses, "Say to
2:06Aaron, stretch out your rod and strike
2:09the dust of the land, so that it may
2:12become lice throughout all the land of
2:14Egypt." And they did so. For Aaron
2:17stretched [music] out his hand with his
2:18rod, struck the dust of the earth, and
2:21it became lice on man and beast, and all
2:25the dust of the land became lice
2:27throughout all the land of Egypt. Now
2:30the magicians so worked with their
2:32enchantments to bring forth lice, but
2:35they could not.
2:37So were lice, so there were lice on man
2:40and beast. Then the magicians said to
2:43Pharaoh, "If you won't take the word of
2:47a of a preacher, take the word of a
2:50magician.
2:52This is the finger of God."
2:55But Pharaoh's heart grew hard and he did
2:57not heed them just as the Lord had said.
3:01Luke 11:20 Jesus said, "If I drive out
3:04demons by the finger of God,
3:07then the kingdom of God has come upon
3:10you."
3:12Esther 8 and2. So the king took off his
3:15signate ring, everyone say ring which he
3:19had taken from Hmon and gave it to
3:22Morcayi
3:23and Esther [music] appointed Morayi
3:26over the house of Hmon.
3:31So the king took off his signate ring
3:36which he had taken from Hmon and gave it
3:40to Morayi.
3:42My subject this Morning is the Lord of
3:46the Ring.
3:48Let's pray. Precious God, in the mighty
3:50name of Jesus, we thank you for the
3:52power of your [music] spirit. And we
3:54believe that you're in this house to do
3:57wonderful and mighty things among your
3:59people in Jesus name.
4:04Hallelujah.
4:06Amen.
4:08And amen. Praise God. God bless you. You
4:12can smile at your neighbor and you may
4:13be seated.
4:21Thank the Lord who teaches our fingers
4:25to fight.
4:27>> Actually, every part of you is going to
4:30be enlisted in this battle before it's
4:32over. your mind,
4:35your heart, your spirit, your soul, your
4:40feet, your fingers.
4:43Praise God. Everything God, you got to
4:46put it all in the battle in order to
4:49maintain the victory that God wants you
4:51to maintain. I thought about the hand.
4:55Thought about how the hand has the power
4:57to both send and receive signals.
5:03Those of you men that are craftsmen,
5:05woodworkers, especially maybe auto body
5:08repair, anytime you ever paint something
5:11or sand something or finish a piece of
5:14furniture or something, it's not enough
5:16just to look with your eyes to see that
5:19it's smooth. You have to enlist these
5:23faculties right here because it's not
5:25really right until your fingers say that
5:28it's right. And you painters know what
5:30I'm talking about. you it when it's
5:32smooth, it it it's more than looking
5:35smooth. It has to feel smooth. Praise
5:38God.
5:40>> Amen. And so the fingers have have the
5:42power to receive signals. Amen. And
5:47Jesus
5:49Jesus
5:51wants us to be able to feel after him
5:55and to find him, though he be not far
5:58from any one of us. Praise God. Not only
6:03can the fingers take in signal, they can
6:06send signals. Now, I'm Italian. I'm
6:10raised by Italian parents. There way you
6:13go. That's uh
6:18and I remember sometimes my when my
6:20mother raised four sons very close in
6:23age and she'd be on the phone talking to
6:26the neighbor lady or whoever sounding so
6:29nice and pleasant. Oh, have a lovely
6:32day. How is the children doing?
6:35Everything okay? And we'd be running
6:37around making noise and she'd look at us
6:39as
6:41quiet.
6:42And if we wouldn't stop, you know how
6:44boys are fighting and carrying on. And
6:47she'd give us finally she'd go like
6:49this.
6:53That means when I get off this phone, as
6:56a matter of fact, I may use this phone
6:58on you
7:00if you don't stop right now.
7:09When my father-in-law day before or so
7:13he passed, I we went to see him and on
7:16our way from leaving our visitation with
7:19him, I told I I noticed that he looked
7:21at me and he gave me this right here.
7:26>> It was if he was telling it was if an
7:28astronaut was telling the team, "It's on
7:31go. Everything's ready. I'm ready for
7:34takeoff. I'm on my way. This is my last
7:37smile. It's all good. Hallelujah. And he
7:41was he was signaling that I've made I've
7:44I've laid my case before the Lord. I've
7:47believed him for healing. If it's my
7:49time to go, I'm ready to receive it in
7:52Jesus name. Hallelujah. Oh, let me say
7:55this. I feel like God wants to give a
7:57thumbs up to somebody in this house that
8:00the enemy's tried to give you a thumbs
8:02down.
8:03I want God to teach our fingers to
8:06fight. And in order to teach our fingers
8:10to fight, we first of all, we have to
8:13learn how to give the enemy the finger.
8:16But don't do it yet before you get some
8:19instruction. I'm going to show you
8:21there's two ways to give the devil the
8:23finger.
8:26Jesus said, "If I by the finger of God
8:29do cast out demons, then the kingdom of
8:33God is among you." Praise God. The
8:36devil, your finger won't do anything. We
8:39got to give him God's finger.
8:45Here's how you give him God. If you'll
8:46give God 10 fingers,
8:50>> the Lord will give the devil his finger.
8:52Praise God. Hallelujah.
8:55You're not. This is how you defeat him.
8:58>> Hallelujah. Lift your hands. Magnify the
9:01name of Jesus. Engage him in the spirit
9:04of worship. [applause]
9:07And you begin to tear down strongholds
9:10in Jesus' name.
9:13Mariana was 30 years old. She left her
9:16two children playing uh under a under an
9:19umbrella uh on the brink of a of a of a
9:22river in Africa. And uh it was there
9:26that she left them and went to go
9:28fishing. And just a few minutes after
9:31she walked away from them, she heard a
9:33scream. And as she reapproached the
9:35place where she left them, her
9:37three-year-old son Gideon was in the
9:40mouth of a crocodile being dragged into
9:43the river. Without hesitation, Mama
9:46jumped on the animal's back and took her
9:50fingers and shoved them up his nose,
9:54blocked his air passage.
9:57He opened his mouth. She pulled the baby
9:59out of his mouth and ran to safety.
10:03That's what I call giving a crocodile
10:06the finger. Praise God.
10:10And there is a Leviathan that stalks and
10:14moves about. There are principalities
10:17and powers spiritual wickedness in high
10:21places. You don't have to take, you
10:25don't have to allow yourself to be in
10:28the jaw of the enemy. The Lord has
10:32taught your fingers to fight.
10:36[applause]
10:37>> It's time to fight. [cheering]
10:40>> It's time to understand there's power.
10:43Amen. In a wellplaced
10:46finger. Woo. Hallelujah. Next time the
10:49devil comes around, why don't you try
10:51something like this?
10:55>> Not going to go there.
10:58>> Not going to say that.
11:00Not going to smoke that. Hallelujah. Not
11:03going to date that.
11:05>> Not going to love that.
11:08>> Not even going to see that.
11:10>> Come on, somebody. The Lord has taught
11:14my finger how to fight. Woo. [screaming]
11:18Praise God. Praise God. [applause]
11:23Elon Musk is this this genius
11:25manufacturer planning to make these
11:28robots that can do all kinds of things.
11:31And they're almost there. And the
11:33greatest challenge of making a
11:34functional robot is creating a hand that
11:38has functionality
11:40that can work like a human hand.
11:45I I I I my hands could when I look at
11:48the way some of you young people text
11:52I feel like my hands are made out of
11:54bricks. How do you do this?
11:58I do I am Am I the only one that does it
12:01like this?
12:04>> These kids
12:07teach my
12:09>> Do you know what your thumbs are
12:11practically talking in tongues if you
12:16praise God? would to God. Hallelujah.
12:19That we could lift our hands and that
12:21our hands could do that kind of talking
12:23in worship and in praise in handshaking.
12:26Amen. And in greeting the come on and
12:29wrapping our arms around the lost lost
12:31friends and loved ones in the name of
12:33Jesus. Uh teach my fingers to fight.
12:39Dr. Peter Jeepson wrote the book Hand
12:41Secrets. He talked about the power of
12:44opposable thumbs. He said, "Without
12:46opposable thumbs, we would be able to do
12:49very little. Couldn't handle a bottle, a
12:51shampoo bottle. Wouldn't be able to fold
12:54clothes. Couldn't write with a pen.
12:58Couldn't even open a hot pocket."
13:07Judges chapter number one says they
13:09found Adoni
13:10in Bazc and fought against him and they
13:14defeated the Canaanites and the
13:16parizzites at Biz.
13:20And when Adoni Biz the king fled, they
13:23pursued him and caught him and cut off
13:26his This was the tribe of Judah that did
13:28this. caught the enemy and cut off his
13:32thumbs and his big toe. And some of you
13:36might say, "Well, he he had that
13:37coming." Not really, because what they
13:40were doing was practicing what the
13:42heathen did to their enemies when they
13:44captured them. God's plan was, "Don't
13:47maim the enemy
13:49and keep him around.
13:52>> Kill him, destroy him, and be done with
13:56him for good.
13:59But maybe you came to church today just
14:02to get the devil off your back a little
14:06>> or just to get him to loosen his grip a
14:08little or just take some of the pressure
14:11off. Can I tell you something? That's
14:14not how the Bible trains us to do
14:16spiritual warfare.
14:18It's all or nothing. Come on. It's get
14:22thee behind me Satan. [cheering]
14:26It's tread on serpents and scorpions and
14:31over all the power of the enemy.
14:36>> Come on. Last time I checked, when you
14:39get done stomping on a snake, the snake
14:42has no power to crawl on you in the name
14:45of Jesus. So, I want to say right now in
14:48the name of Jesus, for those that are
14:50trying to live uh in some kind of truce
14:54with the enemy, those days are gone
14:56today. God's going to teach you your
14:59fingers how to fight. And he's going to
15:01give you victory that will last. And
15:04he's going to put this enemy behind you
15:06for good. You're not just going to stop
15:09cussing a little.
15:11>> You're not going to just stop drinking a
15:13little. Come on. You're going to let it
15:15go. You're going to put it behind.
15:17You're going to be changed. You're going
15:19to be transformed. You're going to
15:21become a new creature in Christ Jesus.
15:24Hallelujah.
15:29>> And so our fingers are
15:33so particularly interesting in that the
15:37human anatomy, the anatomist teaches
15:39that the muscles that control the
15:41fingers are found in the palm and in the
15:43forearm. They're not in the fingers.
15:47>> Somebody say they come from above the
15:49fingers.
15:51[laughter]
15:52This is how this is how come on. This is
15:55how I fight my battles. I tell you, I
15:58don't fight my battles from here.
16:00>> I don't fight my battle from here. I
16:02fight my battle from there.
16:06>> Hallelujah. Hallelujah. I look under the
16:09hills from whence cometh my help. My
16:13help comes from the Lord.
16:17[cheering]
16:18>> Somebody needs to lift your head and see
16:20the help coming. Hallelujah. I don't
16:23have to generate the power to get
16:25through this. It's going to come right
16:27down from heaven off the throne of God
16:30and step into my situation and take
16:33over. Amen. And subdue my trouble and
16:36give me victory in the name of Jesus. In
16:39the name of Jesus.
16:42Power comes from above
16:45and so fingers can feel. You know, don't
16:49under there are times when you can't
16:51feel, but then there are times when you
16:53can feel. And sometimes we think the
16:55only time we can anticipate God doing
16:58something good is when we feel good.
17:02How about the time Jesus took mud and
17:04rubbed it into the eyes of a blind man?
17:10You know how tough a carpenter's hands
17:12are?
17:16>> You couple that with gritty mud. You
17:20place that in the sense one of the most
17:22sensitive places of your body and you
17:25rub it around in there. Then you say,
17:27"Go take a walk down to the pool." and
17:29he's kind of feeling the not only the
17:32pressure of the initial application, but
17:34then the grading
17:37and he's moving along and he's hurting
17:40and this doesn't this doesn't feel good.
17:44Let me tell you something. You don't
17:45have to feel good. You you sometimes go
17:49my wife talked about pain waiting for
17:51the pain and the pain never came. Maybe
17:55the pain is on you.
17:58Maybe you think, "I don't feel good, so
18:01this service isn't for me." Don't
18:03underestimate the power of God to use
18:05irritation to bring you to the place of
18:08faith agreement. Amen. And prepare your
18:11soul to receive.
18:13Come on. She had an issue with blood and
18:16she had been to she had been taken to
18:18many doctors and spent all that she had.
18:20And she said, "If I could just touch,
18:23I'm still hurting. I'm weak as water,
18:25but if I teach my fingers to fight.
18:29Hallelujah. If I could just touch the
18:31hem of his garment, I will be made
18:34whole. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Come on.
18:38If you can reach, if you can touch, if
18:41you can encounter God, the thing that
18:43you need him to do can be done today in
18:46Jesus name.
18:49Prodigal spends a fortune on riotist
18:52living.
18:54He comes back with his hat in his hands,
18:57expecting to be relegated to the barn
19:00and sleep with the hired servants.
19:04Daddy meets him out on the pasture
19:07before he ever gets home.
19:09And he tries to tell his dad, "I'm not
19:12worthy. I I'm not worthy to be your son.
19:14Just just hire me as a servant." But
19:17before he could finish his speech,
19:21his daddy said, "Bring the robe.
19:24Bring kill the fatty calf. Put the shoes
19:27on his feet. Put a ring on his finger
19:31because my son was dead and now he's
19:33alive."
19:36Some people stay away from the church
19:38because they think that the church is
19:39going to point their finger at them and
19:41say, "I told you so."
19:43>> You may be surprised. This church isn't
19:45waiting to scold you for the mistakes
19:47you've made. This church is ready to
19:50celebrate you for coming back home.
19:56[applause]
19:57Quit scolding yourself. Accept the fact
20:00that there are people in this world that
20:02love you because God loves you and that
20:05will believe in you even when you don't
20:07believe in yourself.
20:09and could get just as excited about you
20:12receiving the Holy Ghost as as they did
20:15when they received the Holy Ghost. Oh, I
20:17believe there's a cause of celebration
20:19in this house today. Somebody is on
20:22their way home and the party is about to
20:26begin. Hallelujah. In Jesus' name.
20:30[applause]
20:33And so the elder brother didn't
20:35understand that the ring that was given
20:37to this boy was a signate ring. It was a
20:40ring that gave him authority and power
20:43to transact business of the estate in
20:47the father's name. Hallelujah.
20:51Praise God. Let me say this.
20:55The elder brother was upset and wouldn't
20:57celebrate because he said, "You never
20:59threw me a party."
21:01what he didn't understand. The father
21:03said, "Everything I have is yours."
21:06>> You know what? If we're not careful,
21:08we'll mismanage the things that God has
21:11already put in our lap. And then we'll
21:14blame God for it not working out when
21:17really it was all according to us.
21:21>> That elder brother had the authority to
21:24throw a party any day he wanted to.
21:29And if you are in the business of
21:31postponing your celebration until
21:34something else needs to happen first, I
21:37want to say this. You need to take the
21:39authority that God has given you.
21:43>> You can draw a circle right where you
21:45are and say this is the party zone. And
21:49if I'm the only one in it, then let's
21:51have a great time in the Holy Ghost. Who
21:55says you have to wait till 50% of the
21:57church is worshiping till you lift your
22:00hands? [cheering]
22:02Who says you have to have a special
22:04revival meeting uh amen to have a
22:06miracle?
22:08Who says if someone isn't here, well,
22:10it's just not going to be a great day
22:11for God. Come on, somebody draw a
22:14circle. put yourself in the center of it
22:17and say in Jesus name it's party
22:19[screaming] time and I'm going to
22:22celebrate my promises today.
22:25Somebody celebrate.
22:27Celebrate your healing.
22:31Celebrate your miracle.
22:34Celebrate your future.
22:36Woo! Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah.
22:39Hallelujah.
22:42It's a sad day when the new convert
22:48gets the authority
22:50that the elder brother should have known
22:53how to manage.
22:55This church is not I can't tell who's a
22:57new convert and who's not around here.
22:59Not by the way you worship.
23:01But there are some places that the ones
23:04that have been around a long time feel
23:05like they've graduated from the worship
23:07business
23:09and from the altar work and so they
23:12leave it up to the new people.
23:15Are you going to don't That's the
23:18biggest mistake a church can make. You
23:20know where the elders need to be when
23:22the young people young and enthusiastic
23:24and ramb I remember when I first got the
23:26Holy Ghost. I kind of looked like your
23:28pastor.
23:31And somebody came to me and said,
23:33"You're an old older person just said to
23:36me, "You'll cool off one day." Oh my
23:38lord, what a word of encouragement that
23:41was. Come on, somebody. We need the new.
23:44We need the vibrant. We need the fresh.
23:49But we need to run right alongside of
23:51them in the name of Jesus.
23:53We need to throw our hands up at the air
23:55with them. [cheering] Come on. We need
23:58to take authority over this city with
24:00them.
24:02I'm not surrendering my You're not going
24:04to manage the church uh and the destiny
24:07of the church. I'm part of this thing
24:09and I'm going to pray. I'm going to
24:10sacrifice. I'm going to believe. I'm
24:13going to submit. We're going to do it
24:14together in Jesus name.
24:18Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah.
24:22Law when it talk about the the Lord of
24:25the Ring. First reference to ring in the
24:29Bible has to deal with Joseph in Egypt.
24:32You know the story of Joseph. He was
24:34made the prime minister of the kingdom
24:37of Egypt. The most powerful nation in
24:39the world at that time. The Bible says
24:42Pharaoh took off the ring from off his
24:46own finger and put it on Joseph.
24:51That ring represented authority.
24:54authority to manage the affairs of Egypt
24:59in behalf of the king.
25:03Praise God.
25:05I want that ring.
25:09>> I want that authority they sang about.
25:12But let me tell you, you can't put a
25:13ring on a hand that's like this.
25:19>> You know what? You know what? I feel
25:20like the Holy Gh in the Holy Ghost. I
25:23want you to lift your hand like this and
25:25let him put it on you. Come on. Let him
25:28slip Let him slip the ring of authority.
25:35Go ahead, receive it.
25:38You have You now have something to say
25:41about the circumstances that face you.
25:46You now have power and authority over
25:49the spirits that have attacked you and
25:52your family.
25:54>> Hallelujah.
25:56>> The Lord is teaching my fingers how to
25:59fight.
26:01Praise God. How? Oh la.
26:08And Jesus said, "If I by the finger of
26:10God cast out demons, then the kingdom of
26:13God has come to you." I've I always
26:16thought of it this way. This is the
26:17finger of God. Just a little touch of
26:20God's finger, no matter how deep the
26:22devil or the demonic world is, and it
26:25shatters it all. But if if in fact uh
26:28amen, he's the Lord of the ring and he
26:31puts the ring of authority on our
26:33finger, then it's not it's not this that
26:36is the finger of God. It's this.
26:39>> Hallelujah. Come on. Now that it's on
26:42you. Amen. Take that devil.
26:47Take that sickness. [applause]
26:49Take that cancer.
26:52Come on. Take that fear.
26:56Poor self-esteem. How about that? Praise
26:58God. A poverty spirit that's haunted me
27:02ever some since I was a young young
27:04person. Take that. I'm going to be
27:06blessed.
27:07I'm going to be blessed going in. I'm
27:10going to be blessed going out. I'm going
27:12to be blessed when I lay down at night
27:14and when I wake up in the morning. Oh,
27:16hallelujah. Come on. Come on. Show him.
27:19Show him the finger. Show him.
27:21Hallelujah. In the name of Jesus, I take
27:24authority over my circumstances in Jesus
27:27name.
27:29[applause]
27:31So in the book of Esther we find a
27:35series of decrees happening and the king
27:37issues a decree and then authorizes
27:41the individual to carry out the decree
27:44by giving him his ring. He did this with
27:47Hmon when Hmon wanted an edict to have
27:50the Jews destroyed.
27:53The scripture says in Esther 3:10, "So
27:55the king took his signant ring from his
27:58hand and gave it to Hmon." You know
28:02Hmon.
28:03And the king said to Hmon, "The money is
28:07given to you the people also to do with
28:11them as you please."
28:18Come on now.
28:21>> Say,
28:23I'm some some of us don't realize the
28:26devil can't do with us as he pleases if
28:29God gives us the authority. It is we who
28:33do with the kingdom of darkness as we
28:35please.
28:37The tables need to turn. And they turned
28:39in the in the book of Esther because
28:42after Hmon's demise, after his evil
28:45scheme was unveiled, after he hung on
28:48his own gallows, the king prized the
28:51ring from off Hmon's cold dead finger.
28:55You know where it goes? It goes to
28:57Morayi.
28:59And when the king's ring was transferred
29:02from Hmon to Morayi,
29:05the Bible says Esther gave Morcayi rule
29:09over Hmon's estate.
29:14The devil is the god of this world as
29:16long as the church tolerates it. But
29:20when the church has had it up to here
29:21with the devil, the next thing you know,
29:24there's a power shift that happens and
29:27the people of God begin to call the
29:29shots
29:31because the devil has been put under our
29:33feet. Come on. When he was put under the
29:35feet of Jesus, he was put under the feet
29:37of the church.
29:40Come on. We're not fighting for victory.
29:42We're fighting from victory.
29:44I can't wait till the devil's defeated.
29:46That happened 2,000 years ago.
29:49You've been believing a lie. You're in
29:52charge.
29:54Take authority.
29:56Make your claim. Stand your ground.
30:00Receive your blessing in G. Whoa. Holy
30:03Ghost power in the name of Jesus.
30:05Hallelujah. Hallelujah.
30:08He's He's the Lord. Amen. Of the ring.
30:18John 20 and 26. A week later, the
30:20disciples were in the house and Thomas
30:22was with them and the doors were locked
30:24and Jesus came and stood among them and
30:27said, "Peace be to you." And he said to
30:29Thomas
30:31because Thomas said, "I'm not going to
30:32believe till I see the print of the
30:34nails. I'm not going to believe till I
30:35see the hole in the side." And and and
30:38Jesus walks in the room said, "Thomas,
30:40give me your finger.
30:46Some somebody say, "I'm not going to
30:47believe in God till I have 100% proof
30:49that heaven is real, that the Bible is
30:51true." Well, give him your finger.
30:55>> You start with just somewhere. Let God
30:58have access to some part of you today.
31:05>> Let me say this. If you can give him
31:07your tongue, he'll have all of you in
31:09about five minutes. If you haven't spoke
31:11in tongues as the Holy Ghost gives the
31:13utterance, all I'm telling you is give
31:15him a few minutes of praise and worship
31:17and spirit of repentance. Give him your
31:20tongue. Let go of your tongue. Put it in
31:22his hand. And the next thing you know,
31:25you'll have him from the top of your
31:26head to the sole of your feet. You'll be
31:29vibrating, pulsating, amen, pervaded by
31:33a supernatural power from on high. And
31:36you'll never be the same again. It all
31:38begins right here. Oh hallelujah.
31:44Worship is a declaration
31:47of war.
31:51>> Worship will bring you to the place of
31:55breakthrough.
32:01This is what Isaiah 49 and2 says. And he
32:04has made my mouth like a sharp sword.
32:08In the shadow of his hand, he has
32:10concealed me.
32:12And he has also made me a select arrow.
32:16He has hidden me in his quiver.
32:21Turn to your neighbor. Say, "I'm the
32:22arrow."
32:24>> Arrow.
32:25>> Well, if you're the arrow, God's the
32:26archer.
32:29>> And the art of archery involves the
32:31pinch. The archer has to pinch the end
32:36of that arrow to pull her back to send
32:39her flying.
32:43And there are some people, this is what
32:45Zechariah 9 and13 says, for I will bend
32:49Judah as my bow.
32:53I will fill the bow with Ephraim.
32:58Sometimes living for God, you live in
33:02tension.
33:05I feel like well, you know, some of us
33:08have to overcome mistakes
33:11from our past that weren't necessarily
33:13made by us. Sometimes others have bent
33:17us. We want to go. This is how it works
33:20with a bow and arrow. The arrow is
33:22supposed to go that way, but the bow has
33:24to go that way for the arrow to go that
33:26way.
33:27And so sometimes you feel like
33:29circumstances are holding you back.
33:33Mistakes and failures other people have
33:35made have pulled you back.
33:38And the devil wants to say that you've
33:40sacrificed a great future for a mediocre
33:43one because of some failures in the past
33:46that are holding you back.
33:49I remember when your p I thought Brother
33:51Elms was holding me back.
33:54Let me tell you how it worked. My wife
33:56and I were dating
34:03and general conference was coming up
34:07and her daddy said to her, "You know, if
34:08you don't if you don't want to
34:10exclusively date Glenn, you know, you
34:13can be free."
34:20So she said, "You know, maybe at this
34:21general conference we need to be
34:23available."
34:25He said he want she was obeying him. I
34:27thought it was my friend.
34:31So she was obeying dad's orders. Give a
34:33chance around. Go back out on the open
34:36market for a week. See what happens.
34:41So I'm rooming with brother Elms. He's
34:44we're rooming in the same room and he
34:46finds out what the score is. He says,
34:49"What? You guys aren't together during
34:52the conference?" Well, no. Oh, I mean,
34:54she wants to just see, date around, see
34:56what happens.
34:58I don't know what I'm going to do. He
35:00said, I'm This is what your pastor gave
35:02me. This is a 16-year-old talking to a
35:0524 year old. Tell him what to do.
35:09You need to find someone and take them
35:11out. I said, I do.
35:15>> Okay, that's what I'll do. Next thing
35:18you know, I had made a date.
35:22come walking in after the date to the
35:24conference hotel.
35:26I don't know. I think the devil got in
35:28this girl. She slipped her arm right
35:30into mine like this as we were walking
35:31in and my wife was standing over there
35:33talking to some of her friends and she
35:35saw it.
35:37She immediately spun around, got on the
35:40elevator, took off and I go, "Uhoh."
35:44That's what I get for taking
35:47advice from a 16-year-old.
35:51You're pulling me back. You're holding
35:53me back.
35:55I'm supposed to go this way. You got me
35:58going that way.
36:02So I said to the date, I said, "Well,
36:04it's been a nice evening. I got to go
36:06now. See you later."
36:08Got on the elevator, went up to the room
36:10where she was.
36:12And the pastor's wife that they were
36:15staying in their room said to me,
36:16answered the door, said, "She can't come
36:18out. She's in bed." She was in bed with
36:20her clothes on, jumped in bed, tell them
36:23I'm in bed.
36:25But the sh and as first I walked away,
36:27she said, "Don't worry, she hides you.
36:29Everything's good."
36:33Sometimes you got to get a little of
36:35this. Let me say something. You feel
36:37like you've taken a few steps back and
36:40like there's not going to be any
36:42recovery in your future. God's spring
36:44loading you. Don't you know? Hallelujah.
36:48the the Lord giveth and the Lord taketh
36:51away. But when the Lord takes away, he's
36:54going to launch you into a future that's
36:56double the blessing that you could have
36:58ever anticipated. I want to tell
37:00somebody today, but when you are the
37:03arrow and God is the archer and you're
37:06being pulled back this way, it's not to
37:08mess you up. It's to bless you up. God
37:12wants to launch you into a destiny of
37:15blessing.
37:17Reach out right now and receive your
37:19destiny in the name of Jesus.

37:59Salmon begat Boaz. Boaz begat Oed. Oed
38:03begat Jesse. Jesse begat David. 10
38:08generations.
38:10David was of the tribe of Judah. The
38:14king to reign was from to be from the
38:17tribe of Judah. Prophecy
38:22guaranteed that the king would come from
38:25the tribe of Judah. But you see,
38:29prophecy isn't immune from satanic
38:31attack.
38:33The church is destined to victory, but
38:36that doesn't mean that it isn't under
38:38attack from time to time. God has
38:41promised you a great future, but your
38:43future may have come under attack. For
38:45you see, it took 10 generations to get
38:49the tribe of Judah to David. But when
38:52you study the history of Judah, Judah,
38:55the original son of Jacob, was well, he
39:00committed a sin with his own
39:02daughter-in-law. And the Deuteronomy 28
39:05said that kind of sin would cause them
39:08to be forbidden to enter into the
39:10congregation of the Lord for 10
39:12generations. So it was 10. Now you
39:15couldn't have a king that could enter
39:17into the house of God for 10
39:20generations. But no matter how messed up
39:23it look,
39:2610 generations later,
39:30David is ready to take the throne.
39:33There isn't any Let me hear. I'm going
39:35to prophesy. There isn't anything that
39:38life, hell, the devil or anyone else has
39:41done to you that God cannot undo it.
39:46[applause and cheering]
39:48>> I want you to stand right now. I want
39:50you to lift your hands. Uh we're going
39:52to pray a prayer that will undo what
39:55hell has tried to do in the name of
39:57Jesus. Right now, I come against every
40:00spirit of complication.
40:03Every spirit that's tried to frustrate
40:05divine purpose.
40:09Someone almost was convinced that
40:11prosperity would never be theirs because
40:13of a bad business deal years ago. Not
40:16only are you going to recover everything
40:18that you lost, you're going to have more
40:21than you ever dreamed possible because
40:23God can accelerate and make up the years
40:26that the cankerworm has eaten in the
40:29name of Jesus.
40:32>> Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Somebody said,
40:34"I'll never have joy again because of
40:36these aches and pains." I want to say
40:39this. All you need is an encounter with
40:42the healer today.
40:46In the name of Jesus, we take authority
40:49over our futures. Some of us have been
40:51bows that have been bent back, but we're
40:54still the arrow in the hand of the Lord.
40:56And it isn't over until the Lord's
40:59fingers release that arrow and send it
41:01into the future. Some of us parents
41:04grieve maybe over a loss to loved one, a
41:06child maybe, and we wonder if their
41:08future is going to be compromised beyond
41:10recovery. I'm here to say you're going
41:12to recover all. I'm here to say they're
41:14going to be greater than you ever
41:16dreamed. They're going to exceed your
41:17prayers for them in the name of Jesus.
41:20It isn't over because God is involved.
41:22Mighty God, in the name of Jesus, if you
41:25need if you need if you need to bounce
41:28back from something, if you need to
41:30bounce back from discouragement or
41:32depression or [music]
