0:38there we're gonna I was going to
0:43uh do a a a different Bible study but
0:47then it ended up being this way and and
0:49it actually just came out like two words
0:52but there a lot of explanation to them
0:54and one of the words is instruction or
0:57instructions and the other one is
1:00discernment so hopefully I could
1:03cover both of them you know at the same
1:07time and Proverbs now uh we've been in
1:11this uh this monthly uh consentration
1:14month and believe me if you really want
1:18to learn and learn about life life and
1:23learn how to live life and different
1:26things you meet in life Psalms and
1:29Proverbs are the best things to read
1:32when in consecration because you it it
1:34tells you how to live they it you face
1:38so many situations in those two chapters
1:41and and Proverbs is wisdom I mean you
1:45just get wisdom and wisdom and and if
1:48you could take that and manifest that in
1:51your life
1:53it it it helps you to live like God

2:07every time he went to Miss Johnson it's

2:23have no stress or something like that
2:26I'm blessed and without stress so if we
2:30can take God's blessings and manifest
2:32them we'll have less stress so that's
2:36what God is God came that we we had we
2:39might have life and we might have it

2:42abundantly okay we got Proverbs up there

2:54okay somebody's going to have to read to

3:16that okay the Proverbs of Solomon the
3:19son of David king of Israel
3:24to know wisdom and instruction to
3:26perceive the words of understanding
3:29that's what this is
3:31about and and that's what instruction
3:34will get us it'll get us understanding
3:36now have you ever try to put something
3:39have you ever done a
3:41Lego huh and you've got Lego's got the
3:45best instructions that you could ever
3:47see they've got the best if you follow
3:50them but if if you miss one if you miss
3:54one step you usually got to go all the
3:58way back take it apart and go back again
4:00and start over again so this life that
4:04we're living you know we don't have a
4:06lot of time to keep going
4:09back you know and starting over again I
4:12mean sometimes we have to do that but
4:14the best thing to do is just get online
4:17and live it the way it's supposed to be
4:18lived and and Proverbs gives us the
4:21insight
4:23of how we're supposed to live in
4:25different
4:26situations and and different
4:29wisdom okay the
4:31definition the definition of of
4:34instruction is a direction or an
4:39order and it says detailed information
4:43telling how something should be
4:46done operated or
4:49assembled always studyed the instruction
4:52Supply now Ikea is good for that too you
4:56ever do an Ikea thing you have to put
4:58together with all their
4:59instructions same way you got to follow
5:02the
5:03instructions now you know all these uh
5:06Macho dads at Christmas time that can
5:08put bicycles together by themselves
5:10without the instructions sometimes you
5:12know you're missing a pedal or a chain
5:14or whatever you know or you end up with
5:16spare parts that's the worst the worst
5:20is ending up with spare parts when you
5:22put something together because you don't
5:24know what you missed but you know you
5:27missed something but that's that's what
5:29we have in in God and uh it it just if
5:34we miss a step we have to go backwards
5:36we don't want to we don't want to keep
5:38going
5:39backwards so we have to we have to
5:44follow the
5:46instructions okay let's let's read some
5:48more can you put that back up there to
5:50receive instruction of wisdom Justice
5:53and judgment and Equity go

6:05discretion this is the whole package

6:41Johny let's go verse six to understand a
6:44proverb and the interpretation the words
6:47of the wise and their dark sayings the
6:49fear of the Lord is the beginning of
6:52knowledge but fools
6:54dis this is what it's about it that's
6:57that's that's what we're doing this
6:59whole time on our Christian Walk we're
7:01learning how to
7:03live and that's what this is about we're
7:06learning how to live and this is this is
7:08where we get instruction a teachable
7:11spirit people that have teachable
7:13Spirits when they come into church some
7:15people don't have teachable Spirits a
7:18teachable Spirits like like the Potter
7:20and the clay amen you know when you say
7:24you know take me use me you know mold me
7:27shape me then you're pliable you're
7:30pliable and and and and and and you're
7:33able to be used that way and you're more
7:37humble and you're you're you're you're
7:39not hoty and high minded because you're
7:42being shaped by somebody else and and by
7:45God not by somebody else but by the Lord
7:49and as he does that you grow in Grace
7:52and knowledge and you don't live the way
7:54you used to live and and and that's what
7:57this whole thing's about is that we're
7:59ever learning and we're growing and
8:01growing and and and until we all come to
8:04the
8:05knowledge and and we end up like he is
8:11amen that's what the ultimate goal is is
8:14to end up like Jesus
8:15Christ okay and that's what this does
8:19that's what this does because we we
8:21can't go and and I mean we could but we
8:25we can't go die on the cross again it's
8:27already been done it's done deal so now
8:31we have to
8:33learn what that did for us and what
8:37doors and what what what opportunities
8:40that gave us that we could live by and
8:44and and we could live you know the joy
8:47of the Lord is our strength amen okay
8:50and and to get the joy of the Lord
8:52you're you you get the joy of the Lord
8:55and and a lot of times you know when we
8:57first got saved we we used to go uh uh a
9:02different uh it was different then there
9:04wasn't as many churches like there are
9:06now and it it was just different little
9:08churches there was a lot of little
9:09churches around this is in the late 60s
9:13but
9:14um uh we went to this uh it was a
9:18conference and it was down at the uh
9:20Miami Miami convention center and uh we
9:25went down there and the people you know
9:27they could see we were young converts
9:29and there was a bunch of us that came in
9:31young group we were young and I was
9:34young at the time I don't know about
9:35anybody else but uh I was young one time
9:41and then uh so but
9:45uh they said oh they're still on a
9:47they're still on cloud n they're still
9:49on cloud n you know because when you
9:52first get saved you're on that cloud
9:53nine and every every you know it's like
9:57a hungry guy to every to somebody that's
9:59hungry everything is
10:01sweet you know when you're hungry you
10:04just like that and that's how we were
10:06when I mean it was all brand new we came
10:08in we're and and they said oh you're
10:11still on cloud n but you know what you
10:13could stay on cloud n you know what gets
10:16you off Cloud n
10:18people people they knock you off they
10:22knock you
10:23off and and that's
10:26what the the the Proverbs do it teaches
10:30us to get along with people how to deal
10:32with people how to deal with people on
10:33our jobs how to deal with people in
10:35social situations every kind of
10:38situation same thing in in in uh in in
10:42uh in Psalms but it was a little harder
10:45David had a lot harder than Solomon had
10:48it because David was always fighting
10:51David was always fighting but but he he
10:55you can learn a lot just by the uh um uh
10:59reading the uh uh Psalms you'll get that
11:04you'll get the feeling and you'll get
11:06the emotions because he went through so
11:08many emotions and we go through emotions
11:11we're emotional people God's not
11:13emotional you know it's it's funny
11:16because we think sometimes we think God
11:20God's like us like if we wake up a
11:23little weird in the morning a little
11:25nasty or whatever you know hard and
11:27didn't get our way or something like
11:29that you know we think God's like that
11:31you know that if we don't feel good God
11:33don't feel good that's not true though
11:36it's not true God God God's thoughts are
11:39above our thoughts are higher than our
11:41thoughts his feelings are not our
11:43feelings he's not on a roller coaster
11:46we're the ones that get on the roller
11:48coaster and and a lot of times we let it
11:50happen but to keep that joy to keep the
11:53joy the joy of the Lord's our strength
11:55so so if we don't have joy that means we
11:58don't have no
12:00strength okay if the joy of the Lord is
12:02our strength if we don't have joy we got
12:06no strength so we have to keep
12:09that that line alive the joy line I call
12:14the joy line The Joy The Joy Avenue okay

12:23okay so that's you know we have to we
12:27have to keep that and and it's just like
12:30it's just like the priests when God when
12:32God put the offering on the on the on
12:34the uh on on the uh in the Tabernacle he
12:38started the fire god started the fire
12:41but it was the
12:44priest's uh job to keep the fire burning
12:49and it is our job to keep keep the fire
12:52burning and that's why once you lose
12:55your joy you lose your strength you get
12:57depressed you get alienated you know
13:01that's the devil's work he likes to
13:02bring people apart and and alienate
13:04people that that's a big factor
13:07especially now in these days I mean
13:09people get alienated over everything
13:11look look look just look at and I'm not
13:15doing any fingers or I'm not being
13:17political but just look at all the
13:19political stuff people that actually mad
13:22at each other and hated each other over
13:25politics and and and my sister I'll tell
13:29you about my family but my sister and
13:31husband holy C you should have seen them
13:35they were two
13:36different on two different sides of the
13:38table and they would fight like
13:41crazy over politics and it's the same
13:44way you know and and it happen it's that
13:46way in life it could be that way on the
13:48job you know your way my way which which
13:51ways better but but we can't let people
13:55steal our joy and that's who steals it
13:58his people and and we've got to have
14:01strength we need that strength okay
14:03let's go into this because I'm I'm
14:04getting I'm getting way off okay
14:08Proverbs um did we did we finish 30 all
14:11the way go ahead keep keep reading that
14:14the fear of the Lord is the beginning of
14:16knowledge but fools despise wisdom and
14:18instruction a fool what despises wisdom
14:21and instru instruction a fool despises
14:25wisdom and instruction that's like the
14:28macho guy with the bicycle trying to put
14:30it together without the
14:31instructions okay we have instructions
14:35the Bible is our instruction book that
14:38is our instruction book and that's where
14:41we have to get our instructions
14:44from okay go ahead John my son hear the
14:49instruction of thy father and for
14:51forsake not the law of thy mother for
14:54they shall be an ornament of Grace unto
14:56thy head and chains about thy neck my
14:59son if Sinners entice thee consent thou
15:03not if they say come with us let us lay
15:06wait for blood let us lurk prively
15:09that's running with the wrong
15:11crowd okay that's life sometimes you get
15:15you run with the wrong crowd you get in
15:17trouble you know go ahead let us l
15:21privil Bel for the innocent without
15:22cause let us swallow them up alive as
15:25the grave and whole as those that go
15:29down into the pit we shall find all
15:32precious substance we shall fill our
15:34houses with spoil cast in thy lot Among
15:38Us let us all have one purse my son walk
15:42not thou in the way with them refrain
15:45thy foot from their path that's what's
15:47hard because there's so much peer
15:49pressure now it's very hard especially
15:52in schools and stuff and and and they
15:54have all this bullying and it just shows
15:56you how psychological it works and so
16:00does so does peer pressure peer pressure
16:02is unbelievable
16:05psychological uh it just it does
16:08something peer pressure is unbelievable
16:10it it gets people to do things that'll
16:12get them in prison that's what peer
16:15pressure
16:16does and people give their whole life up
16:20because they've been uh they been uh uh
16:23subject to that peer
16:27pressure for their feet run to evil and
16:30make haste to shed blood surely in vain
16:34the net is spread in the sight of any
16:36bird and they lay weight for their own
16:39blood they lurk prively for their own
16:42lives so are the ways of everyone that
16:45is greedy of gain which taketh away the
16:48life of the owners thereof
16:51wisdom crith out or wisdom crith without
16:55she utth her voice in the streets she
16:58crith in the chief place of Concourse
17:02and the openings of the gates in the
17:04city she utth her words saying how long
17:09ye simple ones will you love
17:11Simplicity and the scorners Delight in
17:14their scorning and fools hate knowledge
17:18turn you at my reproof behold I will
17:21pour out my spirit unto you I will make
17:24known my words unto you because I have
17:27called and ye refused I have stretched
17:30out my hand and no man regarded but ye
17:33have set at not all my counsel and would
17:37none of my reproof I will also laugh at
17:40your Calamity I will mock when your fear
17:43cometh when your fear cometh as
17:46desolation and your destruction cometh
17:49as a whirlwind when distress and anguish
17:52cometh upon you then shall they call
17:55upon me but I will not answer they shall
17:58seek me early but they shall not find me
18:00that's a bad place to be can you
18:04imagine going to the Lord like your dad
18:07like you were going to go to your dad or
18:10or somebody in in that and ask them for
18:12something and and or your parent or
18:15somebody and they laugh at
18:18you and and God's got the and if God's
18:21laughing at us there's no turning around
18:25I mean that's it that's about that's the
18:27end of it there now and and and it's
18:30because of what we done and how we're
18:36operating and we don't want that we
18:38don't want that we want to be on the
18:39right side God came that we might have
18:41life and have it more abundantly and
18:43it's not God's will that any perish but
18:46all come to repentance now we keep
18:49repenting we repent we repent
18:51sometimes we have to Die daily like Paul
18:53said Die daily that means we're doing it
18:57every day if you have to you have to you
19:00know it depends some people are
19:03different than others you know they face
19:04different things uh what bothers Johnny
19:08doesn't bother me what bothers me
19:11doesn't bother brother Bill you know it
19:13it it it's dealing with people and and
19:17everybody's different you don't know
19:18what's in people's mind anyhow
19:23um I was going to go back on this
19:25teachable Spirit thing it's very
19:27important very important because I've
19:29seen Rebellion I've seen Rebellion ruin
19:33people's lives
19:36absolutely wrong
19:38decisions you know uh and and you've got
19:42to be in a place to where you're
19:45connected to get answers when you need
19:49answers for decisions
19:51because now there's so many decisions
19:54you got to make decisions every day
19:55about stuff every day you make a
19:58decision about something and and and it
20:01it just we have to do it and we have to
20:05stay with the mind of Christ and try to
20:09make these decisions to the best of our
20:12knowledge or best of our ability to to
20:15go ahead and live that way now the
20:18teachable spirit going back on the
20:19teachable spirit Proverbs 2 1
20:231-12 my son if thou wil receive my words
20:27and hide my Commandments with thee so
20:30that thou incline thine ear unto wisdom
20:33and apply thine heart to understanding
20:36yay if Thou criest after knowledge and
20:39liftest up thy voice for understanding
20:43if thou seekest her as silver and
20:45searches for her as for Hidden Treasures
20:49then shalt thou understand and fear fear
20:51the lord and find the knowledge of God
20:54for the lord giveth wisdom out of his
20:57mouth cometh knowledge and understanding
20:59right that's where we're going to get it
21:02that's where we're going to get it and
21:04and we get it through preaching we get
21:06it through the five-fold ministry that's
21:08what the five-fold ministry is for
21:10teachers pastors
21:12evangelists and and the five-fold
21:15ministry is is to to bring together the
21:18body and and and let it work together
21:21and and the body of
21:23Christ and uh we have to we we have
21:28to it's so important to have a teachable
21:31spirit because if you shut down if you
21:34shut down you're shutting God out and
21:37you could be you know and you might say
21:40well it's just I feel that way about it
21:42that's the way I feel about it well you
21:45know is the way you feel about it is the
21:47way God feels about it that's the
21:49question you know it it you could feel
21:53the way you want to feel about it and it
21:55could be right but it could be really
21:57wrong and that's where when you make a
21:59decision and you're you're you're in a
22:03rebellious type of uh attitude you make
22:08usually make the wrong decision and you
22:10usually end up having to pay for it and
22:12start over
22:14again so John 14:26
22:27but the comforter which is the Holy
22:29Ghost whom the father will send in my
22:32name he shall teach you all things and
22:35bring all things to your remembrance
22:38whatsoever I have said unto
22:41you this is through
22:43instructions whatever God says to us and
22:46we he brings it to our remembrance it's
22:49about that and it says the word word of
22:51God is
22:53lifegiving instruction
22:57it's the Bible has what we need in there
23:03it has every every tool we need to make
23:07it in this life not only just in this
23:10life but in the life to come it has
23:14everything and and and it it it has
23:17Prosperity it has Health it makes you
23:20wise it gives you Joy it helps give you
23:23Grace to obey sometimes you need Grace
23:27to obey especially if you get if you get
23:30a little sideways with God you know and
23:34it happens it happens you know you get
23:36an
23:37attitude it teaches us it gives us
23:40guidance and it's new life for us we're
23:44continually growing and and
23:47renewing that spirit's renewing in us
23:50and we're constantly growing and that's
23:53the way it's supposed to be if we stay
23:55stale we're we're not going to get
24:00anywhere instruction is The
24:05Parting or the teaching of precepts or
24:09knowledge it's a parting you you you're
24:12you're you're parting something with
24:15somebody like like you you you're
24:17testified to somebody and and what
24:20you're testif T ifying is you've learned
24:22through the Bible and you're testifying
24:25through the word by the word of God and
24:28and and it's
24:30knowledge it's knowledge you're you're
24:33part you're imparting knowledge to
24:36people that you testify to they might
24:39not know it at this at the time but you
24:41are and and and and you're you're
24:44imparting what you know about God
24:47because they don't
24:48know they don't know
24:55okay that's when after that it says
24:59that's when the student becomes the
25:01teacher when you can impart something to
25:04somebody else after we've been taught we
25:09can go out and
25:10teach and then we can impart information
25:14and that's how we grow and that's how
25:16the church
25:19grows that's why so important to have a
25:21teachable spirit so you can grow solid
25:25and
25:26faithful that's what it is did you ever
25:29hear uh you know when we first came to
25:31the church there was so many people uh
25:35it it was you know it was a a rebellious
25:38time in our society when we when we came
25:41to church and and uh there were so many
25:46different ideologies out there trans and
25:49meditation all kinds of spiritual things
25:53the the the Zodiac the this the that you
25:56know everything when we first came this
25:59is in the late 60s and everything was on
26:02display everything you know through the
26:05drugs that opened up people's lives to
26:08to to to partake of things that that
26:11weren't good and they ended up not good
26:15and and
26:17so it's so that's why we we can't be
26:22rebellious there there Rebellion the
26:25Bible says the Rebellion is as the sin
26:28of
26:30Witchcraft okay that's what Rebellion is
26:34so if you don't have a teachable spirit
26:36and you get
26:39rebellious it's like witchcraft so
26:42you're taking on a wrong spirit it's a
26:44bad Spirit not a good
26:46one okay there's no good witches and bad
26:49witches it's a witchcraft
26:52okay it's like oh there's a good God and
26:55a bad God you know no witchcraft is
26:59witchcraft okay so now we're going to go
27:03through uh directing instructions
27:06directing orders or recommended rules
27:11for guidance
27:13instruction the Hebrew word means that
27:16the
27:19Torah the Hebrew word for instruction
27:23and I I couldn't say it so I'm not even
27:25going to try but the Hebrew word for
27:28instructions was was it it it brought
27:31meaning because they only at that time
27:34in the Hebrews had the Torah that was
27:36their Bible that was their road map and
27:40that became that the book of instruction
27:44that was their book of instruction when
27:47when the prophets used to get up and
27:48read the book before the people in the
27:51towns they were instructing the people
27:54and they were enlightening them to God's
27:57Will and that's what we do when we come
28:00here we get we get exposed to God's will
28:04yes and the more we can expose ourself
28:06to it and give oursel over to it the
28:11better we'll be the better we'll be and
28:14and the sooner the better because
28:16because uh you know you
28:19could just bad things happen you know
28:22Johnny I got a bunch of a bunch of them
28:24we can go through them real quick okay
28:26uh Proverbs most of most them in
28:29Proverbs because that's what I'm pulling
28:32Proverbs out tonight because that's to
28:34me that's where there's so much wisdom
28:36and knowledge and and wisdom is is
28:40wisdom in in in the Book of Proverbs is
28:43like a a lie alive it's like a person it
28:46talks about it like does not wisdom cry
28:50you know and it's like it's like a
28:52living entity wisdom like Among Us it's
28:57alive so go ahead Proverbs
28:591-7 the fear of the Lord I mean just one
29:02and seven I'm sorry the fear of the Lord
29:05is the beginning of knowledge but fools
29:07despise wisdom and instruction okay
29:10fools now this the second time we've
29:12heard it
29:16despise wisdom and instruction that's it
29:19now you're with me now you're with
29:21me okay fools
29:26despise wisdom and
29:29instruction so what do you want to be
29:31you want to be a fool or you want to be
29:34happy I want to be
29:36happy okay proverbs 4 10 through1 13
29:40hear oh my son and receive my sayings
29:43and the years of thy life shall be many
29:46I have taught thee in the way of wisdom
29:48I have led thee in right path paths when
29:51thou goest thy steps shall not be
29:54straightened and when thou
29:59runestad you can't lose if you take this
30:03instruction and you take it to heart and
30:05you use it reality every day work it
30:09work it work it just
30:11like you're working your job work it or
30:15like you were learning an instrument
30:18just practice it and work it and work it
30:20and work it and work it and and and and
30:23you win you can't lose you can't lose I
30:27heard I heard uh uh what's his name make
30:30a thing one of the coaches
30:33belich um he he made the he made uh
30:36belich che's one of the uh he was one of
30:39the better coaches and uh he won a lot
30:42of things with uh Tom Brady he won a lot
30:45of Super Bowls and he used to tell his
30:47guys he says the reason you're losing
30:51I mean the reason you're not winning is
30:53because you're
30:54losing and that meant they're losing on
30:56the little the on the on the little
31:00things during the games they were losing
31:02here they're losing there losing there
31:04and it and it makes it a a total loss if
31:08you keep going that way so the reason
31:10you're not winning is because you're
31:12losing so stop

31:3883236 now therefore hearken unto me oh

31:55Gates waiting at the posts of my doors
31:58for those for who so findeth me findeth
32:02life and shall obtain favor of the Lord
32:06how can you lose how can you lose it's
32:09right there you're going to get favor of
32:12the Lord I mean that's that's like the
32:15epitome of life you know look at all
32:18these people that don't don't know God
32:20and how they' lived and and and and you
32:23know some of them you got to you got to
32:25give
32:26them give them you know credit where
32:29credit is due and they're living under
32:32duress and everything and we've got
32:35God and and sometimes we you know we cry
32:39a little bit you know we shouldn't and
32:42and we really uh we really have it made
32:45if we really think about it we've got
32:47everything at our access we've got
32:49everything to live the best life in this
32:53world I'm telling you right now the best
32:55life go ahead Johnny uh did uh Proverbs

33:01and2 who so loveth instruction loveth
33:04knowledge but he that hateth reproof is
33:08brutish a good man obtaineth favor of
33:11the Lord but a man of wicked devices
33:14will he
33:15condemn
33:17okay it's all about favor and it's all
33:20about doing what God has in this book
33:26doing right I mean there's other there's
33:30bad things in there too but I mean doing
33:32right living right the way God wants us

33:47learning understanding is a Wellspring
33:49of life unto him that hath it but the
33:52instruction of fools is
33:56folly fools
33:58again you know we're either going to be
34:01we're either going to be smart or we're
34:02going to be fools you know I I I want to
34:05live I I want to live like God wants me
34:07to live I don't want to be classified a
34:10fool Proverbs 24
34:1326-34 every man shall kiss his lips that
34:17giveth a right answer prepare thy work
34:19with without and make it fit for thyself
34:22in the field and afterwards build th

35:23all kinds of wisdom in there all kinds
35:27of wisdom if we took it if we only took
35:30half of it we'd be smarter than anything
35:33and and we'd be living you know way up

35:37but we have we just have the opportunity
35:41to do more than we are now and to be
35:43more than we are now and I know we I
35:46know God will it it's God's will

35:51Timothy 31516 And1 17 and that from a
35:56child thou Hast known the holy
35:58scriptures which are able to make thee
36:00wise unto salvation through faith which
36:03is in Jesus Christ Christ Jesus all
36:06scripture is given by inspiration of God
36:09and is profitable for Doctrine for
36:11reproof for correction for instruction
36:14in righteousness that the man of God may
36:17be perfect thoroughly furnished unto to
36:20all good works good all right Jeremiah

36:2917:23 Bible says faith comes by hearing
36:32and hear by the
36:33word and and that's that's what we get
36:36used to this by the faith comes by
36:40hearing and hearing by the word so the
36:42more the more the word comes in us the
36:44more the more faith we're going to have
36:47to face these problems that we have
36:49every every day and we I'm telling you
36:53we are more than
36:55conquerors we have we're we're we're not
36:58winning because we're
36:59losing okay that thing stuck in my head
37:02I don't know why but it's just that we
37:05do things that kind
37:08of seem to hurt us more than help us
37:12sometimes with our decisions and so
37:15decisions are so important to make them
37:18in the right frame of mind too
37:20you got to make a decision in the right
37:22frame of of mind it's just like you know
37:24I used to when we were younger I well I
37:29used to do the uh fast a lot you know
37:32and and and then Barbara would take me
37:35shopping while I while I was
37:39hungry and you know it's horrible
37:42because you buy all kinds of stuff you
37:45know and it's because you're hungry and
37:47you fasting you know you're You're
37:50vulnerable to these things so we have to
37:52be
37:54careful faith comes by hearing and
37:56hearing by the
37:58word instruction Bible preaching
38:01teaching and and that's where the
38:04instruction comes from and then it says
38:06pray for wisdom and discernment now
38:09we're going to go into another word that
38:11I have
38:13discernment okay discernment is to make
38:18out as with
38:20the eye or by the mind to make to to to
38:25get a
38:27concept either by your mind or by your
38:30eye you see it or by your
38:33eye or you know your mind's
38:36eye and and
38:39and to see it and to understand it and
38:43to detect it discernment Insight it's
38:46Insight perception understanding
38:51it is not knowing the difference between
38:54right and wrong listen this is really
38:57important because as the day as the day
39:00gets worse and
39:03worse we know there's going to be an
39:05antichrist and it's coming just like
39:07Jesus Christ so this this here I wrote
39:12It's not knowing the difference between
39:14right and wrong it's knowing the
39:18difference it's knowing the difference
39:21between right and almost
39:24right okay you understand that now it's
39:28not right and wrong it's not it's not
39:30going to be clear black and white or
39:32green and
39:33yellow it's going to be in that gray
39:36area and that's why discernment knowing
39:39the spirits and knowing people
39:42discernment and and and and and and
39:45Discerning there's so many things to
39:47discern there's Discerning spirits or
39:50Discerning uh situations or you know
39:54problems uh uh empathy you can get
39:57discernment through empathy uh there's a
40:00lot of ways and people on a
40:03human have human empathy and it's just
40:05like discernment but biblical
40:08discernment goes a little deeper you
40:10know it's like uh it's like the word of
40:13God is sharper than any two-edged sword
40:16and uh it it divides us under and it it
40:20divides the marrow from the bone and it
40:22says it is a discerner of the thoughts
40:26and the intents of the heart so the word
40:29of
40:30God when it comes through and it comes
40:33through preaching it'll tell you what
40:36you need to know what you need to do how
40:39you need to do it and you pretty much
40:42have everything you need to make the
40:44right decision if you go that way Hall
40:47if you bring it to God that decision you
40:51make will be a good
40:53decision and sometimes it's hard you
40:55know I mean I don't think God you know
40:58that's they make so many different kinds
41:00of cars yellow white green yellow why do
41:02you think they do that people don't want
41:05all the people don't want a black car
41:07all the people don't want a white car
41:09all the people don't want a green car
41:10some people like red one some people
41:11like that you know but
41:15uh it just God doesn't care what what
41:19with color car he's worried about
41:21decisions on on Soul decisions and life
41:26decisions and and and prosperity and
41:30people and that the one said it you know
41:34don't don't don't hurt your neighbor or
41:37don't you know Johnny rdit where you're
41:40not supposed to hurt your neighbor and
41:42and and we're supposed to be kind so
41:46that's you know that that comes out with
41:48it so this
41:50discernment discernment it acts in
41:53different ways uh I've seen people in
41:56church that uh I've seen preachers
41:59preach and they can they read your mail
42:02they read your mail you think that they
42:05that they they they they they heard you
42:07talking to somebody you know when they
42:10said they they said the exact same words
42:13you know and that that that that was in
42:17the conversation and and and that's
42:20that's the word of God Discerning the
42:22thoughts and the intents of the heart
42:25and God will put you on track if you're
42:28if you're teachable if you're teachable
42:31God will keep you on track
42:38amen okay the ability to think
42:41biblically to distinguish
42:43between truth and error this is all
42:46about discernment
42:50during consecration read this Psalms and
42:54Proverbs that's what I I put that down
42:56in my last thing and and it's uh we're
42:59talking about the willing and obedient
43:01again shall eat the good of the land and
43:03it's like being pliable let me tell you
43:06I've got another little uh
43:10uh Philip when philli was in The Chariot
43:14and I mean when Philip went down and met
43:16the unic in The Chariot and and he told
43:20him and the unic was reading he says you
43:23understand what you're reading and he
43:24says no I need somebody to tell me what
43:26to do and he told the guy what to do and
43:29God was willing and obedient got
43:31baptized no problem no Rebellion went on
43:34his way probably had the best life in
43:35the world so you know we don't hear no
43:38more more about him but he did what he
43:40was supposed to
43:41do he was pliable he was teachable he
43:45didn't
43:46Rebel so that's what we've got to do
43:49when God comes and and when God comes to
43:52us for that and so
43:57discernment
44:00and and
44:02uh the uh having the uh instructions
44:07instructions are important and that's
44:09this Bible does anybody have anything
